"Flood Wrecks, Landslides, Fires and more." The woman who'd met them outside their training group started, the puffy spacesuit not at all obscuring her voice "This is a Practical Training area that I created to simulate all kinds of accidents and it's name… is the Unforeseen Simulation Joint!"

The assembled group broke out in chatter, he heard someone mention Universal Studios Japan but the most surprising voice he heard belonged to Uraraka, who was freaking out alongside Midoriya over the Hero

As interested as he was in his fellow students' reactions though, Vali's eyes were locked onto the two teachers' forms, watching as Thirteen discreetly raised three fingers up to Aizawa and he groaned in annoyance.

"Are you alright Vali?" He gave Yaoyorozu a smile, ignoring the headache that was forming.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just got a headache." It was the truth he did get a headache, He'd be dealing with an even bigger one when he got back to UA though. He's gonna beat the shit out of that absolute fucking oaf when he returns.

"Before we begin, just one thing, or two… or three… four…" Thirteen trailed off, the words quieting the class down despite the woman's thoughts drifting

"As I'm certain you're all aware, my Quirk is called Black Hole, both matter what material gets sucked into it's vortex. I'm afraid it'll be reduced to dust?" Vali raised an eyebrow at the Heroes description.

...that's not how black holes work…

Eh, who was he to judge. Even if her quirk did sound more like a vacuum cleaner than a black hole he hadn't seen it and couldn't form an opinion… Still, he really wants to test out the woman's quirk.

Shame he probably won't ever have the chance to do so.

He shook his thoughts away as Kidoriya commented on the ladies quirk and while he did certainly agree he also realised the horrors that could occur should the woman ever lose control over her quirk. If she truly can create a genuine black hole then even a momentary slip in concentration could have the entire world being destroyed

"It is, however a quirk that can easily be used to kill people?" He nodded his head in agreement to the woman's statement, he'd pointed it out the other day during the Mock Battles Battles his classmates, made them consider the real-world dangers they posed but he had a feeling not many of them had taken his words seriously

Having a teacher with a quirk as dangerous as Thirteens will definitely make them consider their shared words now.

"Naturally in this superhuman society, quirks are strictly regulated and the requirements or their lawful use enforced. That being said each of you possesses a quirk that can easily go awry, one wrong step is all it takes to accidentally kill someone." He felt the eyes of his classmate shift onto him, his teachers also giving him a look but that was more of confusion on their parts than accusation.

"During Mr Aizawa's lesson you learned the full potential of your quirks and during All Might's trial of battle, I think you all took away a true sense of danger your quirks can pose to other people." The woman continued and if people weren't watching him before they sure were now.

The woman had practically copied the speech He'd given after their Mock Battles ended word for word after all.

"This lesson will serve as a fresh start! Let's gets to studying how to use our quirks for the sake of human lives!" The woman cheered, which the class echoed agreeing with the woman's words before they were directed inside.

"Any particular reason you were being stared at during Thirteen's speech?" Their teacher asked, the two men follow behind the group.

"I brought up a similar topic during All Might's lesson after Bakugo and Midoriyas suicide match, I'm sure they're just remembering what I said and cross-referencing it with the words of a genuine hero." He rolled his eyes at the final part, it was annoying that the kids took the heroes words more seriously than his own but it was to be expected.

He hadn't taken anything people his age said seriously when he was 15 so why would these guys

Having something in authority, an authority you trust explicitly at that, tell you those very same words just make you realise how serious they truly are. It's enough to make you look back to the original guy who said it and realises they were right in their words. These kids were just doing the same thing, they were genuine 15 years old after all.

"I see." Their teacher must've shared his thoughts judging by his expression, He'd probably experienced something similar during his own time at school that made him feel that way.

"Before we begin the lesson, Mr Aizawa, can I ask if I'll be allowed to use Ascalon or not?" The teacher looked at him dryly, a question on his lips.

"This is a rescue lesson Mizushima, why would you need a weapon for this?" He raised an eyebrow back, understanding the test for what it was and rolled his eyes.

"Ascalon as a weapon can be used to move rocks, cut away wires, grass and other obstacles, she can also be used to pierced the ground and act as a cane during a landslide or a flood." He answered as they crossed into the massive building, unlike his classmates Vali didn't marvel or awe at the building, nor did he look around excitedly as if visiting an amusement park, too busy focusing on his teacher but also because he also didn't really care.

He'd seen cooler things.

"I see, very well You have permission to use your… Ascalon." The teacher permitted with a small, barely noticeable smile, both amused by his answer and pleased by it as well.

Seems he'd proved that he does understand the different implications having his weapon gives him after all.

The hair on the back of his neck stood in its end and he twisted his eyes away from Thirteen who finished giving her speech. On his wrist Ascalon burned violently, a warning of an incoming danger from a being that spent millennia with a War God was no such thing to ignore. That and his own honed senses just solidified the danger.

He cast his mind out, his senses reflecting and using the water molecules in the air to find out exactly what was happening and all across the building Vali could feel things start appearing, dozens of people all around the building, at least 30 of them in every zone and counting. The numbers slowly increased, surpassing the triple digits in mere moments and only stopping when Vali could feel over 200 extra people in the building.

He dragged himself back to reality, eyes meeting Aizawa who was staring at someone at the bottom of the stairs.

He followed the man's gaze, already knowing that around 50 people stood where the fountain was. He took a moment to debate exploding the water and killing everyone down there but held himself back.

He'd been told he wasn't allowed to kill anyone time after time by the old Geezer and his uncle, he probably shouldn't be doing it so blatantly.

"HUDDLE TOGETHER AND DON'T MOVE!" Aizawa's shout was enough for him to react, a shield of rapidly flowing, pitch-black water created a dome around them all. "THIRTEEN PROTECT THE STUDENTS, VALI KEEP THE DOME AROUND EVERYONE."

He narrowed his eyes at the command, reinforcing the water by layering dome after dome around them. If one of the supposed villains could somehow get through his first barrier, all they'd find would be a dozen more and a face full of spikes.

"What the- Is this a training exercise like the entrance exam?" He heard Kirishina ask, the boy and most of the class having caught only a glance of the Villains before his barrier covered them.

"Nobody move." The tired hero demanded, moving his goggles over his eyes. "Those are villains."

The class reacted violently but Vali wasn't worried about that, instead, he moved over to usually the teacher and grasped his shoulder, the man startling at the sudden contact but relaxing once he felt the smooth water run over him

"I read about your quirk." He whispered, "There's a few dozen mutant types down there and while I know you can fight a little protection is always good to have, the water can't protect you from anything great but it'll protect you from a majority of the damage."

He walked past the man who nodded his head slightly.

"The students?" Aizawa whispered back but Vali was already back in his spot. He'd taken the time to move his water over everyone in the group after erecting the dome but he didn't want to tell them that since they'd get reckless.

As of now, the only people without his quirk protecting them was Bakugo and himself, since he couldn't use his Quirk without crippling Bakugo's quirk He'd had to leave him be, however, he had trust in the kid to protect himself if any villains did slip past Aizawa, Thirteen and himself.

"Eraserhead and Thirteen..." the Mist like being spoken, the voice was quiet thanks to the distance and his dome but He'd allowed sound to pass through his barrier in case the Villains revealed something about themselves.

"According to the curriculum we procured yesterday, All Might was supposed to be here as well." Vali cursed, He'd called that.

"I knew it." Aizawa shared his internal thoughts, scowling at his prediction "So these were the guys who caused the break-in."

"Where is he…?" A new voice broke out, next to the mist man stood a tall man with greyish blue hair covered in what Vali could recognise to be dismembered hands. They were too real to be models but the fact they hadn't decomposed yet signified the use of a quirk to stop their ageing process or at least keep them in pristine condition instead of falling off into bone and dust.

"We went through so much trouble… and rustled up so many of us to bring along… you can't tell me All Might… the Symbol of Peace… isn't here?" The kid scratched his neck, the sheer rage and annoyance in his voice shook his classmates but Vali had heard the tome too many times to count, it was the typical voice of a lowlife Dark Mage who thought the world owes them something and they were denied it.

He'd tortured that voice into many Dark Wizards to know how and why they formed that sheer zealous ambition and rage.

It was almost… cute, the kids want to fight and potentially kill his uncle.

Was he dangerous? Yeah he along with the Buff bird bastard screamed dangerous, something Ascalon was confirming for him but the danger this man posed was nothing compared to people He'd faced before.

If he had to guess, even the original 15-year-old version of himself could beat and kill this guy. The bird one not so much, not without taking so much damage in return but now? He could kill them without batting an eyelash.

Not that he will, he's a 'hero' after all

"Maybe he'll show up… if we kill some kids…"

Never mind, he's taking this fuckers head home and keeping it mounted on his bedroom wall.

"V-VILLAINS? HOW DID VILLAINS GET HERE? THIS IS LIKE, HERO HONE TERRITORY WHAT KIND OF IDIOTS WOULD ATTACK HERE OF ALL PLACES?!" He heard someone - Mineta - shout out, a thought that was no doubt mimicked by a lot of his classmates.

"Teacher, what about the Intruder alarm systems." He heard Yaoyorozu ask Thirteen, he kept his ear on the conversation but he was more focused on watching the Villains, they stood at the fountain waiting for… something and Vali tensed.

The mist guy could teleport which rendered his dome useless, though if he has to guess he can only teleport so long as the object he's teleporting is touching the mist. So long as he keeps the mist off his classmates he can stop the teleportation.

It would also make sense for the bastard to hide his body with the mist, which is something Vali will have to keep a lookout for

"Thirteen start the evacuation process, these guys have a way to block out the intruder alarm which means they have an electric quirk user scattering the signal, Kaminari gets on that and contacts the school." Their teacher continued to order once Todoroki finished his small speech.

"Mr Aizawa, are you gonna fight them all on your own?" Midoriya nearly shouted at the man, clearly concerned "Even if you suppress all of their quirks there's so many of them! The Eraserhead fighting style is to capture villains after erasing their quirks!-"

"You can't be a Pro if you only have one trick?" The man cut the student off, eyes narrowing behind the metal goggles. "Vali-"

"Yeah I know, protect the kids." He cut him off, turning his eyes skyward. It wouldn't be very effective but he could cause a storm to brew above. The weather was scheduled to be clear all day so a sudden storm over the campus may bring Nezu or All Might's attention but he doubts it.

He clicked his tongue, he didn't want to get rid of Ascalon By sendingEraserhead her to All Might, sure he could fight without her but she'd be useful right now and sending a trident flying would only alert the Villains that help was coming.

He turned his eyes to the group, focusing on a single member.

"Iida." He commanded, ignoring Aizawa as he left the barrier and jumped down the stairs. "When you get you I need you to run to the school as fast as possible and tell All Might and the others what's happening."

"But-"

"But nothing." He cut off with a snarl, ignoring the flinch he received from everyone "The bus can't move fast enough to get the message delivered in time and Aizawa may very well be dead by the time we're back to the school so you need to run there as the fastest person available."

The boy agreed hesitantly, he twisted to everyone else

"Pair up, the mist guy down there can teleport which means he can get through the barrier, if he can get I'm here through Thirteen and myself then you'll need at least someone with you if he teleports all of us." He ignored the scowl he received from Bakugo but everyone complied. "That said, if Iida does get teleported then either Bakugo, Todoroki, Ashido, Sero or Asui will be the one to deliver the messages as the most agile people available. I trust no one has a problem with this arrangement"

His face must've been a sight to see as everyone, even Bakugo and Todoroki agreed with his words.

"I forgot that Eraserheads speciality is one on group Battles?" He heard Midoriya muttering and he rounded on the poor boy, eyes ablaze and snarl on his lips

"This is no time for analysing. Get. Out." The boy flinched and rushed backwards, the group moving towards the door under the cover of his dome when-

"I'm afraid I can't-"

*Sploosh*

A spear penetrated through the mists brain, the black vortex separating around the spear and cutting off the man's voice as it stabbed through him.

"Now that was just-"

*sploo- sploosh- sploosh*

A trio of spears ran through the mist man, blasting holes through the mist enough for his fellow students to tush for the door, and just as Thirteen went to grab the handle

"ENOUGH!" The mist shot at him, surging forward like a wave to, as Vali would assume, send him elsewhere. However, Vali is many, many things, the most important thing here being that Vali is a known War Hero and Veteran, someone who'd now led two armies to complete, total victory and a sudden surprise attack like a wave of mist wasn't enough to take Vali off guard, especially one moving as slow as the mist beings did

So Vali did as he did best, he spun around the mist and shot it full of spears.

"You're starting to annoy me boy" Vali dipped and weaved under the shots of darkness, using the water from the done to beat around the mist so his teacher-

"The doors locked!"

Fuck

"YOU!" The Mist man caught on to his plan and Vali cursed whoever shouted, Sato if the voice he heard was the right one.

Vali waved his hand, splitting the dome in half and locking the villain away with him. From the other side of the dome, he could see Thirteen and his friends freak out at the sudden wall separating them but Vali ignored them, dropping into a small stance as he paused his attacks and let the man form Once more

"Now." The beings' voice was irritated "Let me introduce ourselves. We are the League of Villains, and we've infiltrated this school in order to kill the Symbol of Peace."

He watched thirteen from the corner of his eye as the mist man ranted about the organisation, the female hero taking in every word of the man's story while also trying to destroy the door as quietly as possible.

"However it seems All Might is not here for some reason, was he not meant to?" The being asked rhetorically.

Why did Vali keep referring to it as a being and not a man or woman as he has the other villains? Because the thing before him has no heart, no blood. It's nothing more than a soul inhabiting a meat suit of flesh than a person covered in mist.

No the thing before him isn't human, nor is the bird thing down there. Sure the bird has blood and a heart but Vali can see the lack of knowledge in its eyes, it's nothing more than a Machias that's had its last mind rebooted, a puppet in fleshy skin.

These things aren't humans but abominations of necromantic origin.

Disgusting.

Necromancer, ever the annoying, disgusting filth of the world.

"-and my job is-" Vali didn't let him continue any more than he had to, instead of skewering the Lovecraftian wannabe with a dozen spikes that it, like every other attack, just let pass through it. However, this time revealed something interesting to Vali, something he was sure his more eagle eyes classmates would notice if they were watching the fight

From within the mist, a silver column could be seen.

*bang*

The door exploded, and from it, Iida burst out in a plume of smoke

"NO- YOU ANNOYING LITTLE BRAT!" Vali ignored the shout and let water start dropping me the floor before Thirteen, using the water to spell out the brief flash of silver He'd seen "ENOUGH OF THIS! I WILL NOT ALLOW ANY MORE OF YOU TO ESCAPE!"

Vali watched on helplessly as the black mist appeared around his barrier despite the abomination remaining near him, he tried in vain to skewer the mist with a thousand spears but they simply pierced through the mist buy it was too thick and dense to do much but create a hole and within moments half of his classmates had disappeared.

He turned with a growl, preparing to send spike after spike through the being's chest. It wouldn't do much considering the things Deceased status but it would definitely release some stress on his part. However, since his focus was on his students and making his water move into words he hadn't felt Ascalons warning and before he knew what was happening he too had been swallowed by the mist.

Still, he wasn't one to be done in, and in the final moments, he could still see the front plaza he had a violent geyser of water explode violently in the barrier, a threat on his lips to the magic used to empower it to not stop until the mist being was nothing more than a drowned corpse.

Sadly the most being disappeared

Vali fell into a world of flames and with it, he brought a calamity of water.

Ojiro watched as his classmate appeared from the mist, took a single glance at his surroundings and then doused the flames in the building as if it were little more than Child's Play and he couldn't help but shudder at the casual act of power.

As a kid, Ojiro had been severely disappointed with his Quirk. Compared to his friends, having a tail just wasn't a cool or exciting thing to be given as the one thing that would make him unique. He could remember sulking about it for days and complaining to his mom about it. It was around a year after his friends developed their quirks that he discovered the Karate Dojo He'd spend the next 9 years studying in.

The dojo was a second home to him, it was the place that made him fall in love with karate and heroes in general. The owner of the dojo was an old man who used to be a part of the army before joining the hero force and Ojiro would never forget the feeling he'd felt the man release when one of his students had turned into a villain, the bloodlust, the rage… it was petrifying.

It was something only a man who'd taken a life could accurately produce and his old Sensei had taken many loves during his tenure in the army.

The violent waves of power his Class President released at the sight of the Mist Villain were so similar to his old sensei's. It had taken him aback when he felt the power roll of his friend's shoulders, the barking orders, the stone-cold eyes, the unflinching way he released what would be killing blows

It reminded Ojiro of the stories his senses told him of his army days.

He'd known Vali was a Deviant Quirk user from the moment he saw him create literal typhoons in the quirk apprehension test, he knew a lot of water emitter quirk users and had seen how tired it's made them to create even a fraction of what he saw Vali do casually

His mind went back to the entrance exam, more specifically the entrance exam he had been in.

He'd been in the same hall as the singer, had wondered over asking him for an interview before the exam began and had been the only person to notice the singers disappearance before the exam started. He'd also been one of the students Vali had saved, the Hero in Training blasting apart a three-point robot without even looking at him or the robot to know he was in trouble.

He'd also heard the teens call to search for anyone injured and had snapped into action before he could even question why, it was just the natural thing to do as if his sensei had told him to pack away the training mats after a day of practising.

He'd watched the kid casually stand on a platform of water hundreds of meters in the air and create a trident larger than the house he lived in to destroy a robot that only two other people had destroyed in their year group. Something that took a lot of blood, sweat and tears for them to do if his friends were to be believed.

Valentine Mizushima was a horrifying beast is what he's trying to say.

Every action the guy took, every look he made. It was as if he lived in a completely different world from them. Ojiro had spent years completing his craft and working himself to gain a black belt and doing so had affected both his studies and social life horribly.

The friends he did have were mere acquaintances and He'd barely kept in contact with them since moving to UA and his grades were only just passable when he applied for UA.

But Valentine was here managing not only his hero career and quirk training but also doing television interviews, being a top student, class president and a famous singer-songwriter and went around as if nothing was wrong.

Is this the power of a Deviant Level Quirk user?

When he compared Vali to the only other Deviant Quirk user in Japan… he accepted that statement as the absolute truth.

All Might and Valentine… they made everything look so effortless.

'Is this… how Endeavour feels?' He couldn't help the thought, watching the sea-green eyes teen blast a villain through a wall with a flood of water. 'Is this the difference between a normal quirk like mine and a deviant quirk like Vali's?!'

The despair was crushing, the acknowledgement that He'd probably never be better than Vali drove him into the deepest ravine the world had ever seen and yet-

"Yo, Ojiro!" The boy of his current thoughts laughed "You good there? Well done on taking down so many villains by yourself, sorry for not helping out sooner."

A smile broke out in his face and he couldn't manage the willpower to stop its rise nor bring it back into his usual neutrality.

"It's fine, they weren't that tough." The words slipped from his mouth before he could think.

"Heh, that's what I like to hear! Now, let's go kick the crap outta these guys yeah? Show them what us future heroes are made of." The boy chuckled, hands falling onto his hips as he did so, ignoring the fact that a fist of water laid a punch into the face of a villain Ojiro had barely caught sight of.

A villain behind Vali.

Yeah, it's official.

His Class President is a horrifying beast, but a horrifying beast that he respects immensely.

'Welp, this is boring.' Vali couldn't help the thought that formed as he waited for Ojiro to climb down from where he hung from the building. A pile of unconscious bodies lay scattered around the building He'd hid on while Vali beat the shit out of the annoying thugs who thought they were hot shit.

Heh, Vali had more blood on his hands and more Jewels in his pockets than these guys did when he was 14.

Pathetic.

'Luckily it seems the majority of everyone in this zone has been taken out.' He thought, casting his senses throughout the small zone as he did so 'Ojiro must've taken care of the majority of them before I arrived and then I beat the rest, Aoyama's just been hiding in one of the buildings. He flinched when I doused all the flames and Ojiro hasn't mentioned him yet so I doubt he even knows the kids here. Annoying'

He tsked, throwing his eyes over to the blonde-haired French man who hid behind some rubble, he tried to keep the small frown off of his face but the disappointment overwhelmed him when he locked eyes with the kid.

This was bound to be scary for the kids, he understands that, but they also want to be heroes. They'll eventually be dealing with worse things than this on a daily basis so quivering behind a corner and hiding isn't gonna cut it.

'Haaa, guess I'll talk with the kid when this is over and comfort him. It'll be for the best to make sure he's alright and reassure him for all of this.'

"So what now Vali?" Ojiro snapped him from his thoughts, the Gi wearing kid approaching him cautiously which was fine since there is glass all over the place.

"Now we check on everyone else, I believe in our classmate's ability to take everyone else out but we don't know whose where. My Quirk gives me this handy ability where I can sense people through the water molecules in the air so I have a decent understanding of where people are but not whose who." He briefed the kid, getting a nod in return.

"I'm going to head down to the plaza where Aizawa is, he'll need the help no matter how strong he is. You can either come with or search through the other zones and look for our classmates." He finished his sentence with a hum, feeling the Villains that remained in the conflagration area fall unconscious as whips of water strangled them.

Long-range magic usage, an amazing skill to put his time and effort into learning. Usually, he had to either see or be within a certain range to use his magic like everyone else on Earthland but He'd all but perfected using his magic in areas he could sense through his water Sensing or magic Sensing.

… it was so worth it considering all the time, effort, blood and tears he poured into learning it.

Ojiro smiled at him, it looked shaky and was uneven but Vali didn't bring it up, he didn't need nor want the kid to breakdown now. He needed as many students as possible to leave the building before they broke down so he could go wild in here and destroy the little shits who thought they could just waltz up in here and interrupt his lesson because they're too impatient to just jump All Might in the streets

Honestly when he gets his hands on the little shit with the hands he's gonna bend him over his lap and spank the little shit until his ass bleeds like his momma shoulda done all those years ago.

Clearly, no one had taught the kid common decency.

You don't just interrupt a guys class because you were impatient. That's just rude. Plus, he wants to watch the man's eyes widen in frantic pain as he drains his body of water for even suggesting He'd kill his precious classmates.

Heh, He'd make sure to make the mist fucker watch as he tortured the little shit.

Their parents won't have to worry about teaching them decency when he's done with them, they'd be happy, well-dressed men with perfect manners when they inevitably reach hell.

"I… do not like the look on your face right now Vali." Ojiro joked and Vali while the sadistic smile off of his face, instead painting his media-friendly face on to hide his inner thoughts

"Ah, sorry about that. I was just thinking of how I'm gonna punish my uncle when I get home." No need to frighten the kid after all.

Huh?

Why does he look so scared?

Ojiro? Ojiro, why are you praying?

C'mon he's not that scary right?

Right?

'Shit, shit, shit- what would Vali do in this situation' Jirou screamed in her mind, holding the metal bat between her hands as the group of villains slowly crowded them.

When her friend had suddenly created a dome around them she'd like worried but had accepted the sudden defence for what it was, in the last few days they'd known each other she'd gotten used to the Deviants eccentricities and figured that this was just something He'd done on the orders of their teacher. She'd noticed the two of them talking quietly before entering the building and had figured Aizawa's jerk reaction and Valentine's closed eyes had something to do with it

Some sort of mini test while they were at the USJ?

It was part of why she was so calm when Aizawa had barked out orders to stay still, Valentine had imminently walked over to the man so it was obviously just a test right? Yeah, no. The moment she'd heard the mist villain mention the curriculum her attitude switched as she realised that this was real.

She was shocked watching her classmate- her friend, who was usually a calm and happy turn into the man she'd seen him become. Honestly, she'd flinched when he turned to look then over, his eyes that were so expressive were stone cold and dead to the world, his voice which carried his emotions with ease rendered so harsh and frigid that it froze the attitudes of the worst tempered people in their class.

Of course, the fucking imbecile then decided to separate the barrier and make it practically impossible to reason with him after He'd done so! The bastard was so interested in distracting the villain to let them escape to even notice that his friends were freaking the fuck out that their Classs President had just basically committed suicide.

But of course, he hadn't done that and then that imbecile Sato put everyone's life on the line by shouting to Vali about the door. She'd only just grabbed onto Yaoyorozu and Kaminari when the mist had swallowed her and it'd spat them out here.

And now here they were. Surrounded by villains, her friend's safety completely unknown and-

*thwip*

"Jirou!" She flinched at Yaoyorzu's shout, only just dodging under a punch from a villain as she did so.

"Ahh- eat. This" She swung the metal pole like a bat, the metal rod Slamming harshly into a villain's arm and forcing them to retreat. She needed to think, to recall what Vali had asked her, she needed something that'd let her fightback-

"Your attack on my Water Clone was good, though it makes me wonder what'd happen if you decided to overpower it. You never didn't answer my question on if you can change the frequency or speed you project your heartbeat at"

She felt a smirk cross her face as she sent her earphone jack into the earth.

'Well Vali, guess we're both gonna find out if I can do those things!'

"Yaoyorozu, Kaminari! Grab onto something!" She barely heard their conformations when she let her quirk loose, her entire brain focusing on making the amplified sound as low and fast as possible and while she didn't hear the effect her heartbeat had she felt the earth crumbling and fissures in front of her.

The shouts of the Villains also let her know that the technique was doing something and as she cut off her quirk and opened her eyes she marvelled at the sight before her.

All around them, Villains lay either defeated, falling between the chasm she'd created with her quirk or standing disorientated which was quickly taken advantage of by Yaoyorozu and Kaminari who whirled on the small group behind them and took them out with a mix of electricity and straight-up beatings.

Kyoka Jirou panted as she looked over the destruction she'd caused, sucking up as much air as she could as she tried to settle her rapidly beating heart.

"Jirou! Are you alright!" Yaoyorozu said after finishing off the final villain in their area, rushing over to help the girl who'd turned the tide stand on her feet

"Y-yeah just… tired." She ground out, wincing as she caught her breathe

"I- hey the electricity, I can feel it moving again!" Kaminari suddenly shouted, looking around the building in confused awe.

"We must've taken out the distortion then…" Yaoyorozu muttered "Kaminari, can you try to get ahold of the school, we aren't able to confirm if Iida's told the school yet and we can't wait for him just in case."

"Yeah, I get it." Kaminari gave them a thumbs up and if she could, she'd have laughed. At least the boy hadn't turned dumb like he had during their Mock battle, God she'd have to thank Vali for the-

A massive pillar of water exploded into the sky, dragging the three hero wannabes attention to the plaza and even as far away as they were they could feel the temperature rising. They had no clue what was happening down there but one thing for sure.

"I've been known to affect nearby bodies of water with my emotions"

Vali is pissed.

"Number Thirteen." The Mist Villain's voice grated on his nerves. Sero watched as their newest teacher put herself before the students, protecting them despite not being a combat hero.

He grit his teeth.

What the hell had gone wrong for this to happen today. God he's so glad Vali was the class president, sure that display earlier was scary as hell, He'd never seen the class pres look so intimidating, the usually friendly kid had turned into some Army General but once the shock had worn off He'd understood the importance of Valis role and words.

And God boy is he glad that they'd been forced into understanding by the Deviant because they'd be having a much more difficult time against the villain right now if they were trying to protect themselves while also trying to get one of them to escape instead of just protecting themselves.

"My name is Kurogiri, I will be the one assisting Tomura in his goal to destroy All Might." The Mist Villain, Kurogiri, stated and Sero did what he knew Vali would want him to do.

He memorised the name into his brain, carving the letters into his lobe until he could recite it to anyone who asked.

"You won't be leaving this spot Villain." Thirteen said, finger clasps opening and even from behind the woman as they were Sero had to make sure his feet were planted fully onto the ground to stop the suction from dragging him forwards

This also meant that the mist guy, who the fingers were aimed at, was being slowly dragged inwards, the mist ripping away as fast as it was being made and sucked into the hole which led to the hell dimension anything unlucky enough to be in the woman's way were sent to be turned to dust.

"Sadly for you, Thirteen." Kurogiri's voice wobbled out, the sound of air being sucked inwards distorting the voice "You will find yourself turned to dust before I"

A portal opened between the two of them and his eyes widened, a shout of his lips as he tried to warn the hero-

*squirt*

A pitch-black spear, the likes of which He'd only seen one being make, shot out from the woman's back, shooting through the mist and dispersing it.

"Wha- that brat-" Kurogiri cursed, and the group of students looked around for their fellow student when water was ripped from their bodies.

He flinched back, watching the pitch-black water drip from his skin and the bodies of his fellow students and form thousands of pins which shot out from around Thirteen, somehow defying the pull of her quirk and shooting through the mist man, the water needles splitting off large amounts of most for Thirteen to absorb

"My Quirk lets me do this thing called a Water Mirage, it's an application of my quirk which lets me to bend light rays through the water to project an image"

"My Quirk doesn't really have a range limit, I can set up a trap on the otherwise of the globe and it won't do anything until a trigger is hit that send it to work. Like my flood room trap downstairs, the water should be moving out the holes in the door but I've given the water a 'command' that it's not allowed to flood Jirou and Kaminari until they open the door"

That bastard!

"It seems even now the Class President is protecting us" Thirteen complimented, even as her opponent started struggling to move away. "His Quirk sure is interesting."

His lips moved before he could think

"Vali's a Deviant, like All Might." That drew looks from everyone, villain and hero included as they stared at him in shock "Ah… shouldn't have said that."

"ENOUGH!" The villain shouted before curling into a ball and disappearing. They jumped into action, creating a circle around each other to make sure the mist man wouldn't attack them again before Thirteen interjected.

"You kids get out now, I'm going down to meet with Aizawa!" The Hero didn't wait for a response, simply rushing down the stairs while the students stood there in shock.

Well, the least they could do is follow the woman's words, even if they are worried about their friends.

They stopped just in time to reach the door and turned around to face the plaza when the air around them started to bubble and boil, their curiosities bubbling as ti what was happening when a pillar of water launched something into the sky, the steaming pillar dragging something into the sky and all Sero could do was wonder what the hell was happening to Vali

Tsuyu would be lying if she said she wasn't scared but looking at her classmates… She knew someone here had to put on a brave face and support them. Luckily she'd been teleported with Midoriya, the boy wasn't the best in a fight, they'd all seen that his quirk was just too strong for him to use and he didn't have any real form when fighting but it was better than just being stranded with Mineta, plus her fellow green-haired student was smart and able to plan which was always a helpful trait to have.

The Villains attack had taken them all by surprise, it shook them then up.

How did Villains get here? Why were they here? Do they actually think they can beat kill All Might?

Questions fluttered around her mind even as she helped Midoriya and Mineta out of the shipwreck zone, and boy hadn't that been an interesting thing to learn. It was lucky that the Villains didn't know their quirks otherwise she shudders to think what would've happened to her in the Conflagration Zone. No, she's happy in the Shipwreck Zone. Home territory is always something to look forward to in a fight, that much she knew.

Everything seemed to be going so well for them, so why…

"Don't bite off more than you can chew, Eraserhead." The hard-wearing villain cackled, a hand gripped tightly on their teacher's shoulder and while they couldn't see anything, they knew something was happening.

The Villains quirk is centred around his hands, the thought echoed in her mind, eyes follow the Villains hand as he stood up from Aizawa's punch, he looked at his palm in confusion, with narrowed eyes and frowned before moving.

The villain turned to the bird creature that had yet to so much as move from where it had first appeared, the words he spoke were a whisper and she could only tell he spoke from the way his jaw moved.

What followed next shocked her to her core, the hulking mass that was the bird creature vanished in a blur

"Oh by the way hero…" Aizawa turned just in time to see the birds face, its hand moving with a blur as it wrapped around his skull "...I'm not the favourite"

The bird buried their teacher into the ground, Slamming him skull first into the concrete floor.

"Tell the Symbol of Peace that he's wanted… by the artificial human Nomu." The villain cheered, itchy voice excited as he watched the brawny Nomu beat the hero that had been playing with him

"You can erase quirks. A respectable ability but there's nothing to it in the end." The hand wearing villain monologues and the three students stood frozen as they watched the scene play out "After all when faced with overwhelming Might, you might as well be quirkless in that situation."

The bird lifted the teacher's head into the air, dragging up a majority of the upper body before Slamming it down again, the concrete breaking underneath the force, creating a crater where Aizawa's head was and Tsuyu couldn't help the small gasp that escaped her.

Is… is Aizawa even alive?!

"This… this is too much Midoriya. You gotta be having second thoughts right?!" Mineta's shaky voice asked but he received no answer from anyone. They were all in shock, horrified at what they were seeing, their teacher who'd seemed so strong and confident being beaten down into- into-

"Tomura Shigaraki." The black mist that had separated them all earlier re-appeared next to the now named Shigaraki

"Kurogiri." This must be the name of the mist villain then, Kurogiri "I take it Thirteen is dead?"

"No." The man's words were a snarl and Tsuyu felt relief flood through her for the first time since this all started "One of the students has been destroying my gates and protected her from my attack. This student also allowed one of their own to escape, most likely more now."

Her relief grew, only one of her classmates had fought the villain and disrupted the warp attacks which meant that Vali was close by. Should it worry her, that she's more relieved to know her class president is around than that Thirteen is safe? Guilt wracked her small body but she didn't let it show, couldn't let it show.

"Huuuhhh? Kurogiri if you can't even be a proper warp gate, then our plans crumble. There's no doubt they'll throw dozens of Pro's at us, we can't win." Shigaraki started scratching his neck, the skin peeling beneath his fingers with ease "It's game over… ahhh, It's game over."

The villain sounded like a child at that moment, he reminded Tsuyu of Samidare and Satsuki when they threw tantrums. This guy… he's just an overgrown child, throwing away his toys and getting mad when things don't go his way…

"Shall we hop back then?" The voice broke her thoughts, the villain just casually throwing away the lives of his goons as he turned to Kurogiri

"Hop back? Isn't that your thing?" She didn't drown Mineta this time, a little bit off human to steel your nerves is good. Sets you at ease, calms you down. Jokes. Yeah, jokes are good right now-

She drowned him for touching her breast. Perverts.

"I have a real bad feeling about this Midoriya." She revealed, ignoring the splashing pervert as he drowns

"It seems weird they'd retreat at this point, even if help is on the way." He answered her worries, confusion and worry on himself as he spoke before trailing off into his thoughts.

She finally let the pervert breath again-

"Oh, before we leave." Her attention snapped back to Eraserhead "Why don't we use this moment to break the Symbol of Peace's pride."

The villain moved faster than she or anyone had expected, appeared before the three students in a flash, arm extended heading straight towards her face.

Time slowed to a crawl, her breathing hitched as her life flashed before her.

Is this the end of her? Is this how she died? To a villain who wants to simply break the Symbol of Peace? She doesn't want to die, she needs to look after her Siblings! Her brother and sister are home waiting for her! Her parents, they'd be distraught over her death she doesn't want to die

No no no nonononononononono!-

Something warm splashed against her face.

"AHHHHHHHH"

"Fuck outta here you annoying bitch" a pillar of water erupted in front of them, a flash of red and blue echoing in her eyes as she tried to comprehend the scene before her.

The villain… his arm… what happened-

"Tsuyu." She felt someone grab her shoulder and her mind raced to catch up, her eyes meeting the concerned, steel leaded eyes of her class president. The Hero in Training gave a sigh of relief and pulled the girl forward, her head bumping into his chest as she caught up to reality.

She hiccuped and panicked, her breathing going crazy as she tried to comprehend the had happened.

"Come on Tsuyu, breathe. In and out, in and out." She followed the rising and falling chest of her classmate, the boy calming her down exactly how she would calm down Samidare and Satsuki until they could talk about whatever had made them hurt or cry

"Good, good. Just keep breathing alright." She barely nodded into his chest, the sight must've looked weird to anyone else. The two of them had barely talked and yet here she was, hugging herself into the taller student as she tried to comprehend what had just happened.

"Listen up you two," Vali commanded arms wrapped around the frog girl as he locked eyes with Midoriya and Mineta, both of whom were similarly frozen but less traumatised than the poor girl who was about to die.

He scowled, he'd nearly been too late.

After leaving the conflagration zone He'd been attacked by a couple more villains and he couldn't be bothered to fight them seriously, thus He'd opened Ascalon, his beautiful baby girl dulling her blade just enough to break the bones of his opponents but not maim and kill them.

He hadn't wanted to kill anyone, that'd get him in trouble with the law, and he was getting tired of the bloodshed.

However, the time He'd spent dealing with those guys, Aizawa was fighting the main villains on his own and He'd figured out quite a bit about the man He'd just disarmed.

These guys broke through the gate by destroying it, decaying the metal until it didn't exist. One of them had a decay quirk. The hands, the way he spoke, how he acted, it reminded Vali a lot of some of his old opponents, and while Vali wasn't certain if it was the villain's hands that caused the disintegration he could guess that it was.

The fact he extended his arms and fought by grabbing things cemented this theory.

And then He'd arrived, bursting onto the scene just as the villain moved and it took only a second to sense where he was moving and rage flickered over Vali's being

Ascalon sharpened to a point it could cut a butterfly in half if it so much as landed on its edge, a thin layer of water, scalding hot and burning with salt formed over the blade's edge and the red and blue blade that made the polearm into a Glaive sliced through the man's arm like a hot knife through butter, his water, toxic as it is and fueled with more salt than the Black Sea slipped through the open wound, burning the bloody stump and making the man howl with agony before Vali launched him into the sky, a geyser of boiling black water launching him skyward while he comforted his classmates.

"You two will take Aizawa and Tsuyu up to the entrance and get someone up there to help." Midoriya opened his mouth, probably to argue back "You will do this Midoriya or so help me God, I will break you over my knee and beat the lesson into your head. You're in enough trouble as it is for deciding to bring your classmates to a fight against an opponent too strong for even Aizawa"

"B-but what about you?" The boy's voice was weak but Vali didn't melt like he usually would, simply patting the frog girl's head and standing up.

"I'll be fine, this ain't the first time I've fought villains. You guys just stay here and only move when I've thrown Aizawa to you." He pushed himself through the water wall, having erected a dome of water to protect his classmates from anything else.

"AHHHHHHH"

"Shigaraki, are you alright."

He rolled his eyes, those glowing orbs meeting Aizawas who barely gave him a grunt to ask if they were fine, he answered with a nid but knew at least Tsuyu would need therapy after this.

"Oh shut up you little baby." He cursed, grabbing Ascalon from the ground and twirling it and he stalked towards the crying villain. "Don't cockroaches like yourself usually grow limbs back? I don't see why you're crying so much."

"You…" the most villain trailed off, glaring at Vali "I'll kill you."

"Heh" He stabbed Ascalon into the ground again, ignoring the shudder of displeasure she sent him as he cracked his knuckles.

"Funny." He commented and from his position a few feet away he sent a right hook at the air, the water responded to his will, a giant hand of water punching through the mist villain.

"I" He jabbed forward, making the villain stumble back, the mist evaporating into his water hands

"WAS" He gave an uppercut, revealing the silver neck brace

"GONNA" His large water hand grabbed the mists body and launched him into the sky

"SAY" He dispersed the man's, a hundred spear shooting through the corpse

"THE SAME THING." A trident pierced the mist man to the ground, the mist all but evaporated as he pierced the man in front of him.

*bang*

He stomped on the Villains 'skull', a crater not unlike the one under Aizawa spread through the ground.

"A little fact about my quirk, I can sense blood flow in a person's body." He revealed, a dangerous whisper echoing through the plaza "And I love that your body doesn't have any blood in it, I don't have to hold back against a reanimated corpse after all"

Brain splattered beneath his feet, lumps of fleshy brain and skull marked the ground as he destroyed the Villains corpse body.

"You're still alive aren't you?" He barely received a groan "Good, Now stay there like a good boy."

He wrapped chains of water around the mist villain and turned to the finally-finished-screaming bitch He'd dismembered earlier.

"Kurogiri… my arm… you… youyouyouyouyouyouyouyouyou!"

The villain rushed him, arm stretched out. Vali ducked through the arm, left fist burning itself into the manchild's stomach and making the man bend over, saliva and blood being spat from his mouth as Vali brought his fist down over his head.

"You can stay there too." He spoke, and chains of water wrapped around the beings limbs, dragging him down into the floor and tightening every moment

"Really, trying to kill kids." He sneered, stomping in the villain's side "You're lucky all you lost was an arm, Roach."

He turned to the Nomu or whatever it's called, sneering at the mindless creature that held down his teacher.

"Seriously, today was supposed to be a calm day and you just had to go and ruin it. Now look at you, your goons are fucked, your friend over there's incapacitated since I crushed his corpse brain everywhere, you don't have an arm and your Nomu?" He scoffed, a jet of water blasting the being off of his teacher "Your Nomu can't do anything without your orders, and if you haven't realised yet, you can't talk."

He filled the Villains mouth with water, He'd either poison himself by swallowing the water and commanding the Nomu or drown.

"Up you get, teach." He helped the man up, wincing at the broken cheekbones and nose. If he had to guess most of their teachers' skulls is caved in. "My Quirk has some healing properties but it won't work on all of that, sorry that my armour could 9nly protect you a little bit."

"A-re the ki-ds oka-y?" The man ground out.

"AIZAWA!" Thirteen called out, making them pause. The woman approached them hot and fast. "Aizawa are you alright?"

"Kid-s?"

"They're fine, the mist villain, Kurogiri, fled once the President's water started attacking again." The woman turned to him and he got a good look at her face from inside the cracked open screen "Thank you for that by the way."

"It's nothing, just help Aizawa and the kids get out of here." He transferred the beaten teacher to the other, making the water clear up so the three students could see out of it.

"You too Vali, you have to leave while you can." He smiled at the teacher, appreciating her concern.

"I'd love to but I doubt these guys are done for just yet, the hand villain's resistance like a cockroach and Kurogiri, the mist guy, is nothing more than a corpse. Him and the Nomu thing are basically zombies, they don't need their bodies to live so while I can go all out and not worry about killing them, they'll keep coming back until they're fully sedated and I doubt that'll work" He informed the teacher, wincing at her worried look.

He forgot that these guys don't know he's technically a 28-year-old wizard who fought in two wars in a different universe. Yeah, this… probably looks bad.

"Look, I'll be fine. If you have any questions then you can ask All Might when we get back to AU." The teacher reluctantly agreed but before she could move, Aizawa grabbed his arm, a look on his face that screaming 'understand me!'

"No- ki-llin-g"

He smiled

"Obviously, a little maiming's fine though yeah?" The teacher simply sighed

"Mr Aizawa!"

"Thirteen"

The voices called as Midoriya, Tsuyu and Mineta finally got out of the water barrier

"You're alright-"

"HAVE NO FEAR." A voice boomed and everyone, Villains included, looked towards the entrance. There stood All Might, shirt ripped and a frown locked firmly on his ever-smiling face. "FOR I AM HERE!"

"You're late." He twisted, the man appearing next to the six of them in an instant. "I've taken care of the warp and the roach. The big fellas a thing called a Nomu if I had to guess that's his secret weapon against ya."

He filled into the man as they turned away from his classmates, he saw Midoriya cast a longing glance at All Might, clearly wanting to say or do something but Thirteen ushered him along.

Now alone with All Might, he lowered his voice.

"We need to have words after this Toshinori, Sorahiko too. You've both kept something from me and risked someone's life because of it." The man's look told him he knew exactly what he was on about "Ignore that for now. The bird things undead, it has super strength and speed, while it was pushed back by my Water it Saint affected by it so add in durability and potentially some form of shock nullification."

"I see" The man hummed "And the other two?"

"Kurogiri, the mist guy. He's another corpse but he can warp things so be careful. I crushed his head under my shoe which would normally dispel any half-decent soul-filled corpse but the guy still inhabits the body so he either has regeneration or he doesn't need a body to survive." He motioned to the blood-stained patch beneath the mist villain

The Hero winced at the violence but understood the need for it, he wouldn't reprimand Vali for this, especially since his classmates were in danger.

"Finally there's the roach." He ignored the strange look he received "Quirks some kind of decay quirk but he's nothing special, chopped his arm off a few minutes ago-"

"N-om-u" a voice coughed out, soaked and raspy

It was only instinct that allowed them to dodge, the large bird-like creature shooting through the gap they'd created.

"Haaa, roach, you just have to go and be annoying don't you." He scowled at the roach, who started laughing rapidly.

Fuckkng annoying ass villains.

Oh well, the toxins will slowly destroy his body from the inside out so Vali's the real winner here.

I'll be honest, I don't particularly like the ending to this chapter but I also found it fun to write all the same. Like, I enjoyed seeing the different perspectives of Vali, It let me show how Vali appears to everyone else when internally he's just bored as hell or cursing like the sailor he should probably be!

Uhhh, I literally can't think of anything else to say in this chapter so yeah.

Peace!

Khaos!

P.S. Should I expand on the deviant theory I talked about last/this/next chapter? Or do y'all have the premise of what I mean from what I've written?
