Chapter 23

"So the security controls are on the top floor. Floor 200, that's most likely where all the villains are."

"So we're heading straight there."

"Yep."

The teens were running up some stairs while Melissa explained the plan of action. Izuku was the one to ask the question to her as he was slowing himself down to keep pace with her. Her answer was so fast.

"Can you tell us what your quirk does so if something happens we know you can fend for yourself?" Todoroki asked, clearly he wasn't excited about the extra baggage. "I don't have a quirk." She said completely normally.

Some of the teens turned to look at her. Izuku was about to ask her to go back but a loud slapping sound rang out. They all looked up toward where it came from to see Welf's hand above Todoroki's head. "Nice going, jackass." Welf continued on running while Todoroki rubbed the back of his head.

"Sorry." He said after a few seconds. He didn't mean for it to be an insulting thing but the way he asked it was a bit insensitive. Welf who was standing on top of the stairs looked back at everyone.

"Regardless of quirk or not, Melissa's the only one here that had any idea of the way around the building. Maybe even the security desk." He said and it finally clicked, they realised what her role was in all this. The teens then began running but one was stuck in the ground.

Melissa looked upward toward the back of Welf. This was the first time someone hadn't judged her right away. She felt a tightness in her chest as she looked at him. She quickly ran to catch up with everyone.

"Hello everyone! It's lovely to meet you all!" A man with a metal mask covering the top half of his face spoke toward the crowd. "Now while I'd like to get proper introductions out of the way I have more important business to deal with. On that note, will David Shield come out?"

The man pointed a submachine gun at a woman who let out a scream in response. "I'm right here!" He shouted. "So put the gun down." David stepped forward placing his hands in the air as he did so.

"Ah so glad to finally meet you. You'll be coming with me." The guy turned his hand and pointed the gun at David. "I'll come with you only if you promise to not hurt anyone." The man walked up to him and hit him in the side of the head with the grip of the gun.

"Do you really think you're in any position to demand anything from me!?"

His voice was now filled with anger. Clearly, this guy was serious. "Now move." The man walked out with David and two of his lackeys leaving three of them to guard the party.

The group continued their climb to the top floor. Reaching the upper 70's only to get stopped by a metal barrier. Mineta saw the door leading to the rest of the 79th floor and being so exhausted that he forgot where he was, he opened it.

A red light began flashing. They knew where they were. The group ran into the 79th floor, Welf gave Mineta a smack on the head as he went past. Only to see more shutters closing in toward them. Todoroki shot ice forward holding one open. They went through and saw another door.

"This way! It leads to the garden!" Melissa shouted as she opened the door and went on through. Sure enough on the side was a lot of grass and other vegetation. They all made their way through until they noticed the elevator was coming down to the floor they were on.

They all hid in some bushes. "So what's the plan then?" Asked Kaminari wondering how they were going to out of this.

"The garden isn't the biggest place so it's only a matter of time before they find us." Melissa said. Trying to keep her voice as quiet as possible.

Izuku sat thinking of a way out of this without getting into an actual fight with anyone. But that was quickly thrown out the window as the group noticed how quiet it got all of a sudden. Then without warning, A crash came from beyond the bushes.

Wanting to know what was happening Izuku gave a slight peek over the bush and saw a big purple gorilla type beast rush toward them. Quickly he withdrew the Divine Knife and leapt out from the bush. His blade met the fist of the man but it wasn't nearly enough and Izuku was launched back and toward a wall.

His back slammed into the wall and Izuku was drilled into it.

Quickly Todoroki shot a massive amount of ice at the man who had punched Izuku. The man was sent flying into the air and had been stabbed slightly. But nonetheless, he landed enraged by the attack.

Izuku pushed himself out of the hole in the wall. He landed next to the others quickly Melissa and Yaoyorozu ran over to make sure he was okay. Iida got ready to begin attacking but got stopped by Izuku. "Save your energy for later. I'll handle this." He stepped past the group and toward the big guy.

As he held the knife out toward him Izuku's rubellite eyes gleamed. But his goal wasn't the big guy. "Todoroki! You take down the ape!" Izuku shouted as he shot past the big guy and toward the smaller guy behind him.

Izuku understood his weaknesses and a big guy with thick skin was his worse match up. But he noticed how Todoroki's ice clearly left a mark on the man.

So he opted to go for the smaller guy. Using the knife and his speed Izuku made a rush for the guy. But he was also pretty fast being able to keep up with Izuku. However, this didn't deter the boy who raised his right hand toward the guy.

"Firebolt!"

The electric-like flames shot forward and hit the man square in the chest. The guy was blasted back and Izuku went for a stab on him but he quickly recovered and dodged back. As he did his hand - with webbing between the fingers like a frog - slid across the ground. The metal then disappeared and then was thrown at Izuku like a boulder.

Of course, it was slow so he managed to dodge the attack by a mile.

Todoroki was having a bit of a hard time with his guy. Thanks to the ice he could keep him at a distance. But every time he tried to cut it again without giving Todoroki a chance to attack. An idea popped into his head.

This was an attack he had already used on someone but that didn't make it any less effective. Todoroki stopped creating ice and stood completely still. The ape-like man started laughing, clearly, he thought he had won.

He charged at Todoroki who stood still for a little bit longer. "Todoroki!" Iida shouted but almost as if on queue. Todoroki created ice below the ape. Then he raised it and devoured the man in the ice. Almost everyone remembered how he had done that to Sero at the sports festival.

It was clear that the man couldn't move. So they decided to just leave him there. Everyone turned their eyes to the fight that was happening between Izuku and the other guy.

Izuku dodged another boulder that was coming straight for him. He swung the Divine Knife but missed once again. Izuku could see however that the man was being worn down from all the back and forth.

"Firebolt."

The flames swirled out of the palm of his hand. Without the flames even hitting Izuku was already pushing the man. The flames hit him in the chest again but this time the Divine Knife carved its way into the man's side. Causing him to fall down unable to continue running thanks to the cut.

Using this small amount of time they had while the guy was stopped Todoroki froze the man in place. Both of the villains were stopped. With their victory, the group continued their climb to the top.

Izuku was running at the front of the group leading the way to the top of the garden room. While at the back there was a conversation going on between two of the girls.

Running at the back was Jiro and Uraraka who were trying to keep pace with Melissa. "Don't you think Midoriya's a lot faster than he was during the final exams?" Jiro questioned. Uraraka nodded. "Thinking back on it Midoriya's been improving really fast from the beginning." Uraraka added.

"It's kinda weird don't you think?" Jiro said. "I mean we went on our internships and he came back a different person." She looked at both Midoriya and Yaoyorozu. 'What did The Sword Princess do to you two?' She silently questioned.

They arrived at where they needed to be. The group was on a walkway near the top of the garden. Izuku took a look toward where they left the villains. Both of them were still frozen in place. "The door's locked." The voice of Welf dragged Izuku back to the here and now. He looked forward toward the door directly in front of them. "Step out of the way. I'll blow the door off." He said as he raised his right hand. The tingles of power began appearing around the tips of his fingers.

"Wait! We can just use the roof panel." Melissa followed up by pointing toward a door on the roof that leads somewhere unknown. "But we can only get in from the inside. So we'd need someone to scale the outside wall and open it from the other side."

Everyone looked at the small hole and had the same thought. 'None of us are small enough to fit.' Then they all realised and slowly turned to the one person who could fit through.

"No, nononononono. Midoriya why don't you just shoot it with your fire." He pleaded.

"Sorry, Mineta but we have no idea what other sorts of problems that might bring about."

"Please! Anything else! ANYONE ELSE!" He shouted.

"AHHHHH!" The wind was rushing past his head as he climbed the building from the outside wall.

After a few minutes, the group waited, standing on the other side of the closed door. Hoping that the small goblin would finally do something right. And lo and behold the door opened. They all walked through it giving some form of thanks to the imp as they went. He simply bowed while trying to keep his fragile composure.

The group then continued to make their way through the building as they rose up to try and reach the top.

The doors seemed to allow them to push forward through the tower. They breezed past the floors running up the staircase faster than they climbed to floor 100. Izuku was still leading the charge, his speed allowed him to be at the front of the group.

They ran until they reached floor 130. Shutters now stopped them from continuing yet again. However, the door leading to the rest of the floor was wide open. It didn't take a genius to figure out what was happening.

They were being led to a certain place.

But despite knowing this. The teens had no choice but to indulge in the game. They stepped onto the rest of the floor.

The entire layout was different from the rooms they had passed through already. This one was darker and felt more like a railing than the circular room they were in earlier. They walked forward a little bit and the door behind them closed shut.

"AHH!" Kaminari screamed like a little girl. Jiro gave a small and slight laugh to his reaction.

However, shutters around the room shot up and opened. Pouring out of the entryways was small robots. They were a deep red colour with a single red light in place of an eye.

Now normally dealing with small robots wasn't much of a problem…However…There are hundreds of robots.

The group readied themselves for the oncoming attack.

Withdrawing The Divine Knife Izuku charged forward leading the others. Yaoyorozu was closely behind him creating a sword.

Izuku using his speed cut down as many robots as he could. He leapt up into the air and brought down the blade on another robot and gave it a twist once it embedded itself in the metal. The sound of wire shot toward him. He turned to try and stop it but failed and it grabbed him. But before he got dragged away a sword cut through the robot which had grabbed him.

Yaoyorozu shot him a quick smile as she swung the massive sword while spinning to add momentum to the swing. It cut through 3 robots before she stopped and lifted it up into the air. She quickly swung it down tearing one of the robots asunder.

A shout came from where Welf and Melissa were standing. A pile of the robots had pushed past the attacking teens and surrounded the defenceless ones. Welf placed his hand on the cloth wrapped around his back.

'Orion. Use it.'

The voice of Melissa's mother rung out through his head so he grabbed the spear from his back. The weapon still felt warm. He realised he wasn't fast enough to make it back to them so he readied himself to throw it.

As he did a light blue that started at his hand spread throughout the whole spear. The warmth expanded as did the light. Izuku felt a rush run all over his body.

He flung his arm toward the army of robots. And the weapon flew out of his hand with the force of an argonaut punch. The spear tore the air as it went. Until it reached the first robot. The crashing sound echoed throughout the whole room as the spear destroyed the entire army.

Those around him turned to look at Izuku who was as taken aback as them. Yaoyorozu went over and checked on Welf and Melissa who were unharmed by the weapon.

"Alright, Midoriya try to use that outside next time. We don't want to hurt anyone with it." Izuku simply nodded at Yaoyorozu's words.

Yaoyorozu handed Welf her greatsword and Melissa a dagger no bigger than the weapon Izuku uses.

The group now all had their own weapons so they made their way to the next room. Which appeared to be a server room. They walked in slowly and Melissa pointed to a side exit. "That way leads to the next staircase."

However, the door she had pointed out then got flooded by more robots. "Shit! Is there any other way?" Welf asked the girl.

"Uh, there's another door that leads to the fans. But it leads outside."

"That's fine! Uraraka come with me, Melissa and Izuku." Welf leads the charge to the new route. The group are about to leave but Izuku stops. "Will you guys be okay?" He asks the group who are going to stay to defend the exit.

Yaoyorozu gives him a smile as she creates the weapon that Ais uses. "We'll be just fine. We were both trained by the same person after all." Something about her words strikes Izuku with confidence.

"Just hold off for as long as you can. We'll deal with this as fast as possible." Izuku says giving the others a thumbs-up as he goes.

He quickly catches up with the other group. Yaoyorozu watches him go. 'Please be safe.'

Izuku and the others arrive outside. Welf's still holding the greatsword given to him by Yaoyorozu. Melissa has tucked the dagger into a black sash around her waist. Uraraka is holding no weapons but Izuku has The Divine Knife and the spear.

They look up and see a door up near the top of the fans. "Hey, Ochako think you can use your quirk on me and Midoriya to get up there." She nods in agreement with the plan and touches Izuku on the shoulder activating her quirk on him. Melissa grabs him and Uraraka does the same to her.

Izuku launches himself off the ground and up toward the door. However, something none of them had thought of struck. "The winds pushing us away!" Izuku shouts he looked back down and saw Welf and Uraraka surrounded by the robots. His eyes widened. There was another door and the robots overran them from a place they weren't expecting.

Welf swung the greatsword and tore through most of them. But more replaced the ones Welf had destroyed. There was too many he couldn't keep up with them. At least that was how it was until a cold air filled the outside area.

Ice shot forward and consumed the robots. "Figured I couldn't leave you alone." Todoroki said.

Welf smirked. "So you can make a joke." He quickly turned and threw the greatsword at one of the fans. "Use your flames on that!" Welf shouted.

Burning away the suit he was currently wearing Todoroki burst with flames and shot them toward the fan. The heat made the two rise toward a thick concrete wall. Unsure of what to do. Izuku grabbed onto the spear.

He threw it toward the wall and the entire thing exploded. Opening a new hole for them to use. Izuku managed to grab onto the newly made hole and climb up.

They were close now. Just a bit longer and then they were going to save everyone.

Hey everyone been a while. Sorry about that I ran into writer's block but I'm back in action now.

Also, I've decided to cut this into two chapters because I wrote the whole thing out but it was shit. Like I basically skipped through the entire movie and only added in certain scenes.

No stats in this chapter. I would say something or other about an excuse but I just can't be assed.
