So I did some research, and holy crap no wonder Shigaraki is so broken... horrifically abusive father, neglectful father, sister that framed him out of fear, killed his entire family by accident ( except his monster father, who totally deserved it)... no wonder he is so broken. The world fucked him over six different ways...
From one abused kid to another, I get that rage and pain, it is so easily twisted with the wrong guidance... especially with an already twisted mind.
However I noticed he wasn't really a fighter when we first saw him, relying on his gift and underestimating his enemies... kids or not... just saying, I am using that.
Mineta, Asui, and Izuku walked to the shore... well, Mineta was being dragged, like the useless waste he really was.
"I had a good poop this morning, which makes my balls stickier. They're not going anywhere!" Mineta tells them, making Izuku sigh.
"We are lucky they don't have underwater forces, or anyone immune or resistant to electricty, but I won't complain about the results, even if I lost my Escrima sticks... sigh..." Groaning a little, Izuke moved a hand towards his gun. "All I have is rubber bullets, three sets of rounds... and to be honest I am not an amazing marksman. I can hit an immobile target with ease sure, but a moving one... not sure. Still, It is an advantage and I won't ignore it. Now, let's decide what to do next. Ideally, we should make getting help out top priority! If we follow the shore to the exit, then we can avoid the central plaza entirely.'
"Good idea. That way we don't run into the villains Aizawa-sensei's facing off with there," Tsu remarks.
'Yeah, but can he handle them on his own? How long can he hold out a group like that?' Izuku thinks to himself. "If he doesn't get some backup, then he's just going to overexert himself. He'll end up defeated by those villains cause he was trying to keep us safe," he comments.
Mineta gasps. "Wait. Don't tell me you're suggesting? Are you trying to get us killed or something?" he asks.
"I'm not saying we should jump into the middle of the battle. But, maybe we can find a way to take a few of those guys out and lighten his load," Izuku replied.
After a few minutes of walking, very quietlly, Izuku, Tsu, and Mineta were at near enough to the center of the USJ to watch what's going on from the edge of the shore. Aizawa was still fighting the villains, however it was clear he was weakening. Izuku knew only he noticed it, a year of training had made it impossible to ignore certian things. Seeing a person draining their stamina was one of those things, it was something you took advantage of in a fight...
He could only pray the villains were not smart enough to think of that.
"Remember Midoriya, we're just here to see how things are going, right?" Mineta whispers.
"Ribbit," Asui agrees.
"Yeah, I know. We'll get outta here the second it seems dangerous," Midoriya replies.
And so they watched, Izuku's hand on his gun, waiting for a moment to strike if needed. Aizawa, after demolishing the majority of the villains, turned to one of the remaining two. A silvery haired guy with what appeared to be hands on his face, and threw his capture weapon at him, just as the man started to sprint back at Aizawa.
The man caught it, just in time to be elbowed by Aizawa in what had to be a painful expression of combat.
There was no time to cheer though, as a horrible decay broke out on Aizawa's elbow where it had been caught by the villian. Within seconds skin and muscle fell away, revealing bloodly flesh.
Aizawa's hair rose again, and he punched the villian to the ground with his other hand. As it turned out, even with that injury he was an exceptional combatant and continued to destroy the reenergized villians. This went on for about a minute before Aizawa stopped, turning around in time for them all to see that the monsterous looking villian was standing right behind him, so fast that not even Izuku had noticed it.
With a single movement of his arm, the beast sent Aizawa to the ground, blood spurting through the air. In one motion it sat on the man's back, slamming his face into the ground.
Izuku raised his gun, aiming for what looked to be a visible brain...
And he fired all six rounds.
The beast screamed, hands moving towards it's bleeding brain. It turned to him, screeching for a moment, before it collasped, bleeding out... and leaving Aizawa alone.
"NO!" The other villain, the one with the hands screamed. "That's cheating, you can't target vital areas like that, you cheater!" He turned to them, radiating a fury that Izuku tasted. Then he charged, hands out and ready to end them all.
"Run!" He told his friends, before charging into the frey, ready to protect Aizawa.
He didn't care if he died, not really, that was the point of being a hero. Sacrificing your happiness, your life, for the sake of others. Aizawa was a teacher, he was needed to pass on lessons to the next generation. Compared to Izuku, the man was a god that needed to be protected...
If he died to protect the man...
So be it.
:::
Aizawa knew the sound of gunfire all too well, even if the bullets were made of rubber, even if he was concussed to hell and in a lot of pain. Struggling to stand, or focus at all, he looked up and saw the determined eyes of Izuku Midoriya, holding his gun and firing it at the monster. To his shock, the beast actually collasped, bleeding from it's brain. He couldn't hear what the other villian screamed, his head ached too much, but he knew the man was pissed.
He managed to focus just in time to see his student met the man, and with impressive skills, flip the guy onto his back, slamming his hard enough to knock off the hand masking his face. To his pride, Izuku didn't stop moving, slamming his foot down hard against the man's face, shattering the man's nose with a loud crack and probably giving him a horrible concussion. Blood spurted through the air, and the man screamed in gurgly rage.
"YOU LITTLE SHIT!" He flailed out, trying to catch Midoriya's body with his hands, to disintergrate him more then likely... but it seemed that Izuku was aware of this, capturing the man's wrists and twisting them with all of his considerable strength. The same strength that overpowered Bakugo, the strength the kid earned through blood sweat and tears.
"I am used to fighting people with their power in their hands." The coldness from Midoriya's voice made even Aizawa shiver, but it also gave him the clarity to stand up and charge the boy. A boy who, with a passiveness he shouldn't have had, twisted the villian's arm inward and kneed his elbow as hard as he could, shattering and splintering the bone entirely.
The villian's screams were deafening... and got even worse when Midoriya repeated the motion with the other arm.
"Midoriya, stop, you'll kill him." Aizawa reached the boy, his own shaky hand grabbing Izuku's shoulder. When the boy turned, Aizawa almost flinched in fear at the dead eyed expression. He knew what was going on, it happened to so many heroes, cops, and countless medical experts when they dealt with death, blood and violence for the first time."
The boy had entirely detached himself, depersonalized from the fight. He was working on autopilot, on skill and logic, no morals, emotions or anything that would stop him from killing the man before him.
In a way, Izuku was more dangerous then the villian was, at least for that moment.
"He is a threat." The boy mumbled. "He hurt you... he cannot be allowed to stay." His words, the tone was empty of anything that resembled the nice, if a little cocky, boy he knew.
"It's okay... he isn't at threat anymore." Eraserhead, sighed, hoping the boy could manage to calm down. If not, he might be too far gone and actually kill the villian... that would be bad, at least for Izuku himself.
"Tomura Shigaraki." Both boy and teacher jumped at the sudden sound, a voice Aizawa did not recognize. He turned, trying to find it only to be knocked away by Izuku's body, just in time for a black portal to appear underneath the screeching villian's body. "You will not be allowed to harm him!" The polite voice growled, rage and hate infused in every word.
'Damn, my headwound must be worse then I thought, if this kid noticed the other villian before I did.' Aizawa wanted to scream, but kept his cool as best he could.
"KILL THEM, Kurogiri, kill them both!" The villian screached, childish and wrathful and hateful.
The other villian, rising from the ground, turned to them with it's yellow eyes. "We must retreat, Master, less you bleed out." A swirl of shadow wrapped around them both, and slowly they sank into the earth, departing with one last threat.
"I WILL DECAY YOU ALL, ESPECIALLY YOU, YOU LITTLE SHIT!"
The echo of the man's screams filled the USJ, long after he departed, only to be eclipsed by a massive bang, one that drew everyone's attention to the front doors... smoke and dust filled the air, but in moments it cleared up, and All Might was revealed to the entire facility.
"""
After knocking out the pawns, the peon villians in a blur of speed, All Might turned his attention to Aizawa, who was cautiously holding a very stiff and cold looking Midoriya. It took one look to realize what was going on, at least for someone as experienced as All Might. Blood covering the boy's food, a seemingly dead beast on the ground bleeding from it's brain... the boy had been forced to kill and it was not a good thing.
"Young Midoriya... are you alright?" The boy turned to him, and it took all of his courage not to recoil at the utter absence of emotion in the boy's typically emotive eyes. Trauma was a powerful thing... and he could hot help but wonder if nearly dying just days before had triggered something in the boy. "Aizawa... report, where are the rest of the kids."
It was not Aizawa who answered, but Midoriya, who's voice was like a walk in a graveyard. "We were banished across the facility, check the other areas... Mineta and Tsu are over there." He pointed to where the two kids in question were approaching. "I may have electrocuted a dozen or so villians in the water... I threw my Escrima sticks in the water, full charged... it was all we could do, they were going to kill us."
All Might opened his mouth, desperate to offer something to this boy... however Mineta had something to say and so screamed out his words, not knowing their impact. "That was awesome, Midoriya, you broke that guy's arms like they were nothing and killed that monster."
Tears started to fall down Midoriya's face... and it broke All Might's heart to see. He stepped forward, trying to help the children who was clearly fracturing, but before he made it more then two steps, the strange creature bleeding out on the ground sat up.
Everyone froze, ready to react to ... well any threat, but the thing just sat there, unmoving...
"I am not sure this is natural, it suffered extreme brain damage and it's fine... I think it is artifical and designed for commands." Izuku's hallow tone added to the horror of his words. "Still, be careful...we need to save everyone else...stop fawning over me, I am not worth your effort."
There wasn' t a soul who didn't cringe at that...
"""
Within half half an hour, many things happened... First the rest of the teachers showed up, too late as All Might and Aizawa had managed to hunt down and save the rest of the students though only Yaoyorozu, Jiro and Kaminari needed to be saved as they were being held hostage by an electrically gifted villian. The Police had arrived, headed by one Detective Tsukauchi, and all of the villains were arrested bar the two that escaped, including the unmoving or unthinking Nomu. Lastly, the injured bodies of Aizawa and Thirteen , who had been badly injured by her own quirk it seemed, were taken the Recovery Girl to be patched up... and with them, a near comatose Izuku Midoriya.
"16, 17, 18, 19. Everyone seems to be unharmed, that's good. Let's go ahead and get these students back to the main campus. They've been through a lot. We don't need to question them right away," Tsukauchi says, pleased.
"Detective. What about Aizawa-sensei?" Asui asks.
"He was lucky, only the first layers of skin and muscle were damaged by the villians quirk, and he has a severe concussion but otherwise he should make a quick recovery. " A doctor says through Tsukauchi's phone.
"Well, you heard the man," Tsukauchi tells the students.
"Ribbit..." Asui says sadly.
"Um, sir, what about Thirteen?" Ashido asks.
"There's no need to worry there. Despite some pretty bad lacerations to the back, Thirteen is gonna pull through, good as new. Recovery Girl's power should be enough to help both Eraserhead and Thirteen recovery," Tsukauchi replies
Everyone sighs in relief.
"What about Izuku?" Uraraka asks.
"How's Midoriya?" Iida questions.
"Midoriya? Ah, that's... harder to explain. Your friend, what he was forced to do to protect Aizawa and you all... he is in a fragile state, and he might need therapy to pull through long term, but he should be fine" Tsukauchi tells them, but inside he doubted it. He saw the boy, his dead eyed stare, the detachment pushing him from his pain and the reality of his actions...
The girl, Uraraka, seemed to understand what he wasn't saying. Her eyes were wide and watery. "I hope he's okay."
"Now let's get you back to class," Tsukauchi tells the students, hoping to avoid explaining the genuine issues that their friend was facing...: I have some business at the Nurse's office, Sansa you are in charge."
"Okay," the students all reply as they begin to walk towards the bus, the scars and trauma lingering far more clearly then anyone realized, even if they were sharing stories of what they had done during the terrifying experience.
:::
It was so empty... the world around him, like being in a fishbowl.
Izuku blinked, trying, struggling to focus on something, anything, he just couldn't. Everythought, emotion, ounce of energy slide off like jello on a hot cars hood.
Absently, he heard echoes of voices, lingering in the air.
'Traumatized... forced to kill and maim... just after nearly dying... monitor for saftey and self harm... snapping inward or outward...risk for suicide.'
For some reason it was that last part that made him jolt back to reality, slamming back into his body fully. " I wouldn't do that!" He screamed, making the voices jump. It was here that he realized where he was. 'When did I get out of the USJ, when did I go to Recovery Girl's office.' Shaking his head, he jumped off of his bed and threw back the curtain, just in time to see Hound Dog, Recovery Girl, All Might ( deflated), Nezu, a detective he had never met before and his Mom all looking at him with guilt. "Yeah, I need therapy, we planned on that for tomorrow anyway, but I won't hurt myself." He sighed, " I know you are worried, but don't talk about me like I am not here, I hate that."
"Oh baby, your right, but we couldn't seem to get through to you, you weren't responding, we tried for an hour." His mom embraced him, slowly and with great caution.
He hugged her back. "I'm not going to say I'm fine, I know what happened to me... I know I was detached and all that. I looked up mental disorders before I decided to talk to Hound Dog... I won't pretend, but I am okay enough to talk to... I think."
Nezu approached. "That's good, my boy, we were worried. However it would still be best if you were kept here overnight for observation."
"That's fine... sigh... did I kill them, the villians in the water?"
Nezu smiled. "The water was more pure then you think, it did not conduct the electricity as well as it should have... so no, but it was close. I will not reprimand you, your choice was wise and a last resort. Power Loader will make you new sticks, we know you know not to abuse them."
"I'm glad... I know I got lucky, the Villian had no idea I was a skilled combatant and willing to hurt him to win. If he took me seriously, it would have ended entirely different... and I should be very, very clear... I do not take my actions lightly... I promise. " he tried to make his point clear, knowing that they needed to hear this... it was something he needed to say.
He just wasn't sure why it mattered so much that he say this.
"We can tell... I do have to ask, why aim for the brain?"
Izuku sighed, his mind moving to the cloudy memories of the fight... "It was the only vunerable place, the beast was too well muscled and strong for the bullets to do much more then irritate it. It was ... like I was on autopilot. Aizawa was going to die, and I had to make a choice, one life or another, so I did and I would again."
He was not unaware of the pained looks in everyone's eyes, but he could not bring himself to care too much. He had been in a life and death situation and he was the reason they made it out alive... He would not wallow in regret, no matter how painful it had been... He would be strong and he would move on with his life. "Oh... I guess I should mention that you should keep an eye on Mineta, I think he did something to Tsu, as it was he kept on being overly sexual and gross. It wasn't outright harassment, but it was close. When she saved him, she slammed him onto the boat hard, I would look into that."
" I will, we take sexual harassment seriously here." Nezu nodded, looking very serious. "Now, if you are ready, we... or rather, Detective Tsukauchi here, has some questions for you. The rest of your classmates have already been questioned, but you got the best look at the head villian, so it would be best if you gave a statement."
From his pouch, Izuku pulled out a note pad. "Give me half an hour while we talk, and I'll draw his face for you."
"Can you?" The Detective asked.
" I have been drawing heroes since I was a kid, I am not super gifted at this but I can give you a decent sketch. Enough to use for primary searches."
The man smiled. "Then let's get onto it, I guess."
"I would like that, while everything is still fresh."
He did not notice the shocked, uncomfortable and worried looks on the faces of the various adults... not a single one of them comfortable with how utterly calm he was being...

This was so much fun, and I love what I did...
