This is more filler than anything, inspired by the training montague we see before the Sports Festival... but it was fun to write anyway, so enjoy.
It is filler but it sets quite a few things up, which I enjoy writing... some big and little things... enjoy.
BANGBANGBANG!
Izuku smirked as he looked at his smoking targets.
Snipe, the hero watching and monitoring him, sighed. "Your a good shot, you know how to clean your gun, and you are a master at gun safety which most people ignore these days... I deem you safe enough to carry a gun... but only using your rubber bullets while training and during internships. I cannot in good concious allow you regular bullets, not now since you still need to work on hitting moving targets and well, they're dangerous in general to the public."
"Fair enough. What about darts? I am thinking of using laced bullets, for all sorts of things... correct me if I am wrong, but don't you do something similar?"
The man nodded. " Actually yes, though rarely... regular bullets usually do the trick but for bigger, nastier foes laced bullets can mean the difference between life and death. What were you thinking of lacing them with, and yes I am including Darts as a part of your training... though where you plan on getting a dart gun is beyond me."
"I am making one actually, in Support." The boy said it as if it was the most natural thing in the world, the most obvious.
"To be honest, I forgot you were in Support. Why do both, if you don't mind me asking?"
"So I can choose and make the weapons I intend to use to fill the gap between me and my quirk weilding peerrs."
"Fair point... I got to admit kid, when I learned you were quirkless I was one of the teachers that were against your acceptance but I was totally wrong. Your really something special. I really think you are going to make it."
That seemed to shift something in the boy, who had been rather solem aside from his prideful smirking. " I appreciate that, Snipe Sensei. I really do. I can't wait to stick it to the rest of the teachers, those that still doubt me."
"I'll make sure to place bets when you do."
"Be sure you do." The kid replied, almost laughing.
It was so easy for Snipe to forget how close the boy had been to death just recently, and how shut off he had been to his own emotions after being forced to nearly kill for the first time. It was something he hadn't wanted to think about before, not wanting to imagine a child in either state. Seeing him so pleased, it was a effortless to ignore the pain that came with knowing how badly they had all failed this boy so far this year.
He knew the boy would excel, he was a great shot, a master combatant, a skilled engineer and inventor, a clever strategist and tactician... the quirkless boy would dominate the Sports Festival and Snipe would be earning quite a bit of cash for it...
And then he would make it up to the boy, for his lack of faith... perhaps more lessons? To help him master his skills...
Yeah, that would be a good thing... he had time for it too, he could teach the boy in the mornings... "Hey kid... I have a propositon for you."

Mineta was afraid of the look in Aizawa's cold grey eyes, the malice they held almost palpable. "What did I do, Aizawa Sensei?" He managed to squeak out, sounding more mouse then hero...but screw it, Eraserhead was terrifying, you could feel his wrath like heat in the air. He could kill Mineta with a thought, and he knew it.
The man sighed. "You mean other then grope your class mate while making disgusting remarks about other classmates? Specifically your female classmates, specifically Asui and Yoayorozu?"
"Um...no?"
"So you are saying Asui and Midoriya made up this up?" Eraserhead growled, his tone low and cold.
Mineta felt no shame in shivering. "I...ugh,.. isn't that was we are supposed to do as men? Find girl's attractive, and pursue them when they play hard to get?"
This was clearly the wrong thing to say as teh disgust that burned in his teacher's eyes magnified a hundred fold. "Showing no interest is not playing hard to get. Saying no is not playing hard to get. You have no right to touch your classmates, make them feel unsafe, run your mouth and say disgusting things about them. Are we clear?"
"Yessir."
"If I catch even the tinniest rumor that you've done so again, I will expel you and charges may be set on you depending on what you've done. Technically, and there is camera evidence, groping Asui twice counts as sexual harassment and borderline assult. I could have you arrested, but she asked that you be given a warning and a chance since it is clear no one has ever really bothered to give you this talk... and so this is that warning."
The boy nodded, feeling tinier then he already was. "Yessir."
"Go away, and make sure you never let this conversation stray from your mind."

"... and this guy with Purple hair made some threats, declaring war on us!" Uraraka emphasised her words with a strong kick, perfectly hitting Izuku's open palm. "It wasn't scary persay, but it was strange. I have never thought of declaring war on anyway, you know?"
"Yeah, your too sweet for that but I get it. I don't know the purple guy, but from what Mei told me when we were discussing the Festival, a lot of people use it as a platform to get into the Hero course. People who's quirks weren't suited for fighting robots, or who had no faith in their abilities."
That made the girl frown. "Hey, you have no quirk and you beat the robots... how?"
"Same way Hagakure did, kill switches, Plus I used my escrima sticks to fry them. It was more about being smart, but the students here rely too much on their quirks, even you do that to be honest but you've gotten much better... Speaking off, how are you holding up Hagakure?" He turned and saw a pair of floating clothes running raggedly around an obstacle course he set up for said girl. It wasn't super intensive, Izuku could do it in his sleep, but the girl was very much out of shape. She had tried to start by doing pull ups... a bad start since she was so out of shape. He got her doing a mix of cardio and strength training by mixing dance, of which the girl was a big fan, and parkour. It would, he hoped, make a big difference even if they only had two weeks til the festival. Even if it didn't, long term it would make her a beast in battle.
His eyes moved to the next girl training, in this case it was Ashido, the most atheletic of them all bar himself. The beautiful pink girl was doing a lot of dance moves, mixing it with the judo and kickboxing moves he showed her. Turns out she was an expert dancer and boy, she was agile and strong as hell. He was pretty sure her strength was comparable to his and that was without any strength enhancement on either side. Her knack for dance gave her a rare ability, one he envied, and that was Adoptive Muscle Memory. This exceptionally rare ability let the girl master, perfectly, any movement she saw even once. She picked up all he showed her instantly, her form equal to his own. He knew that if she continued on the path of martial arts, she would be unbeatable in terms of sheer skill.
Then there was Uraraka, who was picking up Judo at an astounding rate. She just seemed to have an instinct for her bodies center of gravity, probably stemming from her ability to mess with said gravity entirely. Now that she knew what to look for, it was hard even for him to pull off any moves on her. A disadvantage if they ended up fighting during the Festival, but he was proud of her regardless. She was amazing, and a good friend... he hoped she did well. Her only struggle was parkour training, she was not a great athelete past martial arts, and she struggled to come up with a mental plan on how to climb something, how to fall properly and so on but she was making strides regardless.
Kirishima came into view next, the boy moving through kickboxing motions, punches and snap kicks. His form was perfect, the boy was not the greatest academic but he got atheletics quite well. It was fun to watch him train, however there was one glaring flaw in his... everything that Izuku was grateful for and would take advantage. The boy, powerful though he was, lacked in stamina. His quirk had a time limit and he was reliant on it's power to do anything major, so all Izuku had to do was wait him out and he would win the fight easily. Well, kind of easily, the guy was still a skilled and instinctive fighter if untrained. He would still be a hard fight but a worthy one indeed, and far more managable then Izuku had thought before, especially if he managed to complete his new toys...
The Froggy Miss Tsu was next, flipping gracefully in a controlled motion while flipping her tongue out at various things. It was a game he made up, having her aim at various targets while flipping to increase her stamina, strength, cardio and aim with her tongue. She was doing well, getting less and less dizzy as she progressed, he knew she would be a hard person to fight, even with all his weapons. She was strong, fast, and very smart... she would not underestimate him for being Quirkless, she would mess him up if he let her.
The others, while training with him occasionally, had decided to spend at least some time away from him to work on secret manuvers, a smart move as far as he was concerned. After he trained with his friends and students he would do the same at the beach, bettering his over all skills and mastering his new toys. He really had to master his Escrima sticks, he was a bit out of practice with those. He had to work on his gymnastic skills and over all agility. He had to focus on strategy and creation, mastering his inventive side. He had so many plans to dominate the Sports Festival. He had plans, so many of them...
He wanted to come in first, to show that having a Quirk did not make you superior, that being Quirkless was not a death sentence...That people like him not only mattered but could excel, could dominate, could be amazing. He wanted the heroes to eat their superiority and realize that there was more to the world then Quirks...
And to do that he had to get the top spot, or at least the top three. He knew he could do it, he had contingency plans for everyone bar Todoroki... who admittedly was too powerful for any plan to really work. Luck was his best friend there, luck and being underestimated...
'I got this... I can do it, I can win... I just have to follow my plans and adapt as much as I need to... I will prove my worth to the world.'
Smiling, he turned back to Uraraka. "Okay, I think you should work on your Parkour for a bit. You've got combat down well enough, in two weeks you should be good enough to toss around even Bakugo."
The girl blushed. "You really think so?"
"I know so, your amazing Uraraka... now, let's see what you can do on the obstacle course."
With a pained groan, the girl jogged over to the obstacle course and got busy. Leaving Izuku to wallow peacefully in his thoughts, readying his mind for the Sports Festival and not letting the horrors of recent days or the annoyance of therapy get in his way. He had a goal, a dream, and he would make them both a reality...
No matter what...
'Maybe I can get Midnight to spar with me some more... I could learn a lot from that... though Snipe is already helping me master shooting at a moving target... sigh... I am so busy nowadays...'
Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.
This was fun, simple and it set things up well...
Love, your Ninja Overlord,
Mika.
