Monoma's team won fourth place because Bakugo is no longer nuts, he was not obsessed with beating them just winning so he went after other people allowing Monoma to actually pull off a victory. In case anyone was curious.
I hate Mineta... sexual harassment isn't funny. Girls shouldn't feel unsafe or uncomfortable like that, it's wrong for anyone to be forced into that situation.
This is a favorite chapter of mine, so much fun and powerful to write... we finally get to see something I have been waiting for. I planned for this chapter for so long... I hope you love it as much as I do.
A pair of warm, impossible large breasts slammed into Izuku the moment he walked into the cafeteria hall way. He gasped, unable to see or even breathe as he was squeezed with impossible strength. "My sweet boy, you are doing so well!" The sweet, dolcent tone of Midnight made him smile despite his suffocation. Thankfully the women pulled away after along minute, her hand on his cheek. "I am so proud of you, Izuku."
He smiled back, proud of himself. "I am trying hard... so hard."
"I know you are, not just anyone could vault those Zero pointers or maintain the ten million headband without any real risk. You were even smart enough to put down the strongest team. Todoroki would have been extremely hard for you to beat, I hate to admit it bu the nature of the kid's power would make it hard for most experienced of Pros to beat him."
Izuku shuddered. " He was a big worry, but so was Kaminari... I made a tool to beat him though, my Escrima sticks. They can absorb extreme ambient electricty, well to a point. Enough to neutralize his powers... I hope so anyway, I tested it in the lab but... " He shivered more. "Yaoyorozu was a big worry, she is skilled and smart, her quirk verstitle. Iida is blindingly fast and very smart, if a bit too forward to be an exteme challenge. The entire team was dangerous, I was happy to remove them from the fight."
"It was a wise move, and one you should be proud of."
"I am." He sighed. "Can I ask you a question... why are you so interested in me? Like you seem really happy that I am excelling, and you sparred with me and let me use the gyms, but I can't figure out why."
She paused, her eyes filling with a sadness that he could entirely relate to. "When I was a little girl, I learned that life was unfair. My mother was where I gained my quirk from, though my powers are stronger by far. My mother was a thief, she would knock men out and take their things. People knew this but no one could prove it. People called me all sorts of names, treating me like a villian for inheriting her power. I was bullied horribly as a child, accused of all sorts of things, even rape when I came out as bisexual. To be honest, loathed my power for a time. I hated it... and it was also that hate that was partially what motivated me to become a heroine.
I see that in you, the world has no been kind to you. People pass judgement for countless reasons and it has hurt you. For me it was for my mother, for being a women, for my sexuality, my love of both sexes, even for my charity work. I hate seeing that judgement destroy people especially those as promising as you, so it was an easy choice to help you no matter how slightly. You've worked harder then your entire class to be here, and you are going to make a name for yourself despite the crap that has been thrust on you by this bigoted world."
He could not help but choke at that... and embraced the women once more, grateful for her company and loving words. "I guess I have another reason to win, now don't I?"
She laughed gently in his ear. "Yes, I suppose you do. I will be impartial during the matches, do not worry about that... now go, get something to eat, you'll need your strength for the fights to come." With that the beautiful women left, leaving a warm spot in the heart of the Quirkless wonder.
Happy, he turned to go and get some food... just in time to overhear something that set him off entirely.
"Yaoyorozu. Jiro," Kaminari said, Mineta at his side, the two of them talking to a group of 1 A girls, led by Yaoyorozu.
"Uh-huh, do you need something?" Yaoyorozu asked.
"Well, I'm sure you already know since you're like a class rep... but they said all the girls have to wear those uniforms for the big cheer battle this afternoon," Mineta replied, pointing to the American Cheerleaders walking by, his words ringing false in Izuku's ears.
So many things were wrong with that idea... but a big one was how... exposed the cheerleaders were, there was no way U.A. would force the girls into something they would likely be uncomfortable with. That alone would have been considered sexual harassment... and that is what let Izuku realize what the hell was going on.
"Huh?!" Jiro asked.
"That's odd. This is the first I'm hearing about it. Are you sure?" asked Yaoyorozu.
"You don't have to believe me if you wanna get in trouble. But this is coming straight from Mr. Aizawa," Mineta told her, as Kamianri nodded his head.
"I thought maybe you'd forgotten, so I figured I'd remind you, just in case," Mineta said.
Izuku snapped a little, lashing out with his foot, slamming into Mineta and holding his head under his foot. " I hate liars, I hate sexist pigs... and you are both. First off, I have been watching this Festival for years. Something like that has never happened, and if it were to there would have been a big announcment. Mr. Aizawa would have told the girls personally, not sent a message through you of all people. Your already in trouble for groping Tsu." He growled, pressing down hard enough to make Mineta screech like a little bitch, a sound that fueled him. "So, here is what is going to happen, you and I are going to personally going to go to Mr. Aizawa and you are going to tell him that once again, you found it a good idea to harass the girls. Kaminari, you are coming with us, voluntarily... unless you want me to beat you with my sticks then drag you?"
The taller boy shivered, shaking his hands desperately. "No, no, that's not needed, man."
"No, it isn't." The students, bar Izuku, froze at the impossibly frigid voice of one Miss Midnight. They turned to her, food in her hands, her eyes colder then anything Todoroki could manage. "I am all for freedom of sexuality and enjoying the beauty of others, I would be a hypocrite to think anything else, however most importantly I am also a fervant supporter of choice. You were trying to steal that choice and by extention blackmail the girls into revealing clothing against their will... under the guise that a teacher said so, risking a taint on his reputation and damage to his career if the lie was spread. Mineta, Kaminari... I am disgusted by your behavior. You both are suspended, pending expulsion in Mineta's case. Either way you will be speaking to Nezu and Aizawa. You will follow me to speak to Aizawa right now, then you will take whatever punishment he gives you." Both offending boys were shivering, looking at her with utter terror but neither were dumb enough to say anything. "Izuku, thank you for intervening, but do not attack your classmates again, am I clear?"
"Yes, Ma'am. Not that it excuses it, but sexism, abuse and bullying kind of piss me off. I hate judgemental people, and those who take advantage of others."
She smiled. "I am aware of that, I feel the same which is why you are not being punished. This is your only warning, do not waste it." With that she left and the two idiot boys followed the women away, Mineta glaring hatefully back at Izuku.
"Some bro you turned out to be." Mineta muttered. "Are you gay or something?"
Izuku rolled his eyes, hating that concept entirely. "Being a into girls doesn't give you the right to harass them, Mineta... and no, I am bisexual, not that it really matters. Sexuality doesn't really affect being a good person or not." Annoyed, he turned away only to be crashed into by a very appreciative Yaoyorozu.
"Thank you... I always seem to be a part of his stupid perverted ploys."
Izuku patted her back. "Not a problem, like I said I hate people who abuse others. It was fun to lash out like that."
She pulled away. " I hope you win today... and I forgive you for nearly making me bald. That stupid gunk of yours nearly pulled my hair out."
He laughed. " Sorry about that, but I had to get rid of Todoroki, he was too powerful for me to safely beat... and you, Yaoyorozu, were a serious risk for me to even attempt to fight, so taking you out was a serious perk."
"You flatter me... and please, call me Momo, you've more then earned it."
"Call me Izuku then... or Izzy, I guess. That's what Mei calls me, I kind of like it."
Jiro, who had been rather quiet, offered him a warm smile. "Call me Jiro still, I prefer being called my last name... but I really appreciate what you did."
"No one should feel unsafe or uncomfortable all the time. Mineta is a menace, and frankly the teachers should have intervened a while ago." Both girls nodded, very much in agreement.
''''
"After they're over the 16 students from the top four teams will be duking it out one on one in a tournament-style fighting competition! I promise you're not gonna wanna miss these epic match-ups!" Present Mic bellowed, clearly getting pumped.
"Aw, yeah! Finally getting the chance to show what we're made of. I watch these finals every year, and now I'm actually in them!" Kirishima said.
"So wait is it always a tournament?" Ashido asked.
"The final's always a one on one competition, but they switch it up every time. Last year it was a foam sword fighting match," Sero replied.
"Come closer and draw lots to see who you're up against. Then enjoy the pleasure of the recreational games before we start. The 16 finalists have the option of participating in those activities or sitting out to prepare for battle. I'm sure you all want to conserve your stamina. I'll start with the first-place team," Midnight told the students while holding a yellow box with the word "Lots" on it
"Um. Excuse me. Sorry. But I'm withdrawing," Ojiro said, raising his hand. Everyone gasped and Izuku was right along with them.
"But this is a rare chance for you to get scouted," Iida told him.
"It just wouldn't be right. I barely remember anything from the cavalry battle until the very end of it. I... think it was that guy's quirk," Ojiro explained.
'Wait, who was Ojiro with, again? Him?' Izuku thought looking through the crowd of students, his eyes landing on the really handsome purple haired boy, who was looking away. 'He looks exhausted... I wonder what his power is?'
"I know this is a great opportunity. I wish I could take advantage of it, but my conscience won't let me," Ojiro said.
"Just think about this," Izuku said. "Your the only martial challenge here, I want to fight you."
"I have, okay? Everyone gave their all in round two, but I was just someone's puppet. No way. I don't wanna advance if I don't even know how I got here. It wouldn't be fair," Ojiro replied.
"You're making way too much of this! Just kill it in the finals and prove you should be here," Hagakure told him.
"Yeah, what she said. I didn't do much in the battle, either," Ashido agreed.
"That's not it. I'm talking about my pride here. I refuse to give that up."
A random boy from class 1-B raised his hands. "Nirengeki Shoda from class 1-B. I think I should withdraw for the exact same reason. Regardless of how strong I am, this isn't how I wanted to get here. It would go against the values of the festival to advance without earning my spot," Shoda said stepping forwards.
"Listen to these guys! They're so manly!" Kirishima commented with tears in his eyes.
"This sort of talk is incredibly naive, my boys. That turns me on! Shoda! Ojiro! You're withdrawn!" Midnight announced, cracking her whip.
'Did she say it turns her on?' Izuku laughed loudly, not caring that people were staring. He loved Midnight.
"Don't worry. I'll win it for you," Aoyama told Ojiro.
"Now, let's see... We'll have to move up two students from the fifth place cavalry team so we have enough contestants," Midnight said.
"We were frozen most of the time. Honestly, we barely did anything in the cavalry battle. Isn't that right? Kendo asked.
"Uh-huh," one of Kendo's teammates said nodding her head.
"Girls?" Kendo asked. The other two girls in kendo's group also nodded their heads. "You should choose from the group that kept fighting the whole time. Team Tetsutetsu," Kendo told Midnight.
"Kendo!" Tetsutetsu yelled.
"I'm not doing this as a favor. It's just fair," Kendo told him.
"Seriously, you guys! Thank you!" Tetsutetsu yelled.
"And so, Tetsutetsu and Shiozaki have advanced to the final! Take a look at the bracket, my dears. These are your opponents!" Midnight announced.
The screen showed Izuku and Tetsutetsu as the first match. Izuku's cackles made the other boy pale ever so slightly. He knew exactally how handle metal boy...and he had some interesting plans for his match, inspired by the lovely Mei.
Next was Tokoyami vs Kirishima, then Aoyama vs Ashido, Sero vs Shinso, Bakugo vs Uraraka, Mei vs Shiozaki, Neito Monoma vs Kosei Tsuburaba and finally Sen Kaibara vs Shihai Kuroiro.
The Last two matches ended up being people that Izuku had never met... people from class B. He knew he had to watch their matches far closer then the rest, having nearly nothing about any of them. They were the most dangerous by default... same with Shiozaki. He would be screwed if he didn't...
"""
Izuku spent his time off relaxing, digesting his lunch and just enjoying the festival. He didn't participate in any of the side games, but he did watch them for funsies. It was a hoot watching people playing the games, which he realized were designed to showcase random skills like teamwork, dexterity and other such things that would help garner attention from Pros. It was actually kind of nice of U.A. to do that.
Sooner then soon, it was his turn to fight, and so after doing some quick stretches, Izuku made his way to the proper hall and then out to the newly made arena. This was going to be fun. He saw his opponent, and could not help but smile at the overly eager clone of Kirishima.
All right, audience! Let's cut to the good stuff and not delay these finals any longer. Welcome our first fighters. It's Izuku Midoriya from both the Hero and Support courses versus...Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, also from the hero course. The rules are simple. Immobilize your opponent or force them outta the ring," Present Mic said. "You can also win by getting the other person to cry uncle! Bring on the injuries, cause we've got our very own Recovery Girl waiting on standby! So put your morals aside and don't be afraid to play dirty! But of course no life-threatening crap, folks. It's not allowed. Real heroes use their power to throw villains in jail, not kill them," Present Mic explained, making a rare good point.
"I'll stop anyone who tries to get too rough," Cementos said, making a seat out of concrete.
Izuku laughed. "It won't get too rough, he won't be enough of a challenge for that." The crowd oohed at that and Tetsutetsu growled at him.
"What did you say, you class A people are so arrogant."
"Ready... Start!" Mic screamed out and with that the Metal boy melted into his true metallic form and charged Izuku.
Izuku just laughed, ducking under a strike and rolling betweent the other boy's legs. He grabbed a secret from his utility belt and placed it on his head. "Is this thing working?" His voice came out through the speakers, to the shock of everyone. "Hiya, all. I am Izuku Midoriya and boy do I have some interesting things to show you and tell you. Mainly to the support companies watching, for yes I am also in the Support course and have created some interesting things." He caughed punch from the other boy, wrapping his hand around the other boy's wrist and tossing him over his shoulder, making the boy gasp in pain despite his hardening power.
"This isn't time for comercials!" The boy managed to wheeze out.
"Oh but it is! Now, I am sure you all want to know about the foam that put down Team Todoroki. That was a recent invention, I spent a week mastering the chemistry needed to make it. It was a bomb that created a high density polymer that not only binds it's target safely, but is resistant to extreme temperatures. It is the perfect one and done capture weapon, stronger then concrete and entirely hypoallergetic! Only I know the recipe for it's creation and I plan to use it when I become a hero to safely capture those suffering from mental afflictions or those unable to control their more destructive powers, so I do not have to harm them when there is no need.
Now, as for my next invention, these are actually what got me into the Support course and allowed me to easily top the Hero Entrance Exam." He whipped out his Escrima sticks, happy to finally get the chance to use them in battle for the first time. "These Escrima sticks are extremely durable." He dodged another stirke, and slammed the sticks against the metal boy's face, forcing him to stumble back. "See how they didn't even get scratched by his metal skin? There is another feature however, their main feature, observe!" Bending, he swiftly knocked the other boy off of his feet before performing a handstand with tips of the sticks against the boy's metal body. "They are electric!" And with that, he turned them on to fifty thousand watts, the screams of Tetsutetsu masking the sound of the sticks being charged. His metallic body channeling the charge perfectly, making him flail in agony before he passed out. Izuku flipped off of his foe, landing happily from him. "And with that, victory is mine."
Midnight approached. "Tetsutetsu is unconcious, the winner is... Izuku Midoriya!"
Smirking, Izuku turned on heel and bowed low, before walking off of the arena, more then proud of his work.
"""
" I feel bad for Tetsutetsu." In the stand Uraraka shivered. "I've been shocked by those sticks during our training, only once and boy is it an awful feeling. Plus he's really strong, so those hits had to hurt even with that defensive Quirk."
Around her, people turned to face her, and Ojiro frowned at her. "He's shocked you with those?"
"Yeah, Kaminari was a serious risk so he wanted me to get over shocks. I could only tolerate one blast... besides, if we went all out in a spar, he'd shock he still. He doesn't hold back just cause I am a girl or his friend." She noticed a shifting in the boys' collective eyes. "Hey, don't go easy on us cause we are girls, we've earned our place here. Don't be sexist or we girls will kick you backsides as hard as we can!"
All of the girls, even those not in the tournament, nodded making the boy's pale... just as Izuku reached their seats once more.
"That was fun!" He said, happy.
"Why the commercial?" Uraraka asked.
He shrugged. " I want to sell product and be a hero. It is a newer goal, but it is one that I have. Mei made me realize how good of an inventor I am. I deserve to be seen and so I made myself seen." He turned to the boxes where the Support companies were sitting. " I wonder what they thought?"
"""
"He's something... that foam is brillant and would make capturing villians so much easier, the clean up easier and save so many lives. We can market that." One of the Representatives said, nodding.
Another smiled. " Those Escrima sticks stood out for me, if they can channel electricity from outside sources then they would help those with electric quirks. Depending on the voltage they could put down villians safely without major harm."
"Agreed, I wonder what else this kid has for us to see..."
"He is wearing a utility belt, it probably has his tools in it. I guess we are just going to have to watch and see, won't we?"
And so they buckled down, making notes of the boy in their notebooks, eager to see what the boy could do for their companies.
Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.
This was beyond fun to write...I love this chapter.
Love, your Ninja Overlord,
