About four years had passed since Percy Weasley had had his first child, his daughter Molly, who he had named after his mother.

It had been two years since his second daughter had come into the world, a daughter he'd named Lucy after his favorite Narnia character, Lucy Pevensie.

Now, in a fortnight, Percy was due to become a father for the third time, but this time he had a son on the way.

Percy visited the Burrow one evening and Arthur and Molly, always delighted to see any of their children, gave Percy a warm welcome and Molly had made meatball subs for the three of them.

"Yummy," said Percy delightedly as he took his first bite, "Mom, your cooking is as good as ever."

"So, Percy?" asked Molly kindly, "How are Molly and Lucy doing?"

"I'm really happy with where they're at, " said Percy glowingly, "Both have had happy and healthy early lives and it's nice to know early on that both have already shown signs of magic. Hard to believe Molly will be going into kindergarten next year already."

"Time flies when you're a parent, " said Molly, "You always savor those big moments."

"Yes," replied Percy at once, "I'll never the moments when Molly and Lucy were born, took their first steps, said their first words, and so on and on."

"But it always feels like they're growing up too fast, " finished Molly.

"It does, " said Percy earnestly, "But, as you both know, I've got a third child on the way, a son this time. I get to experience all of this all over again."

"You said in your owl that you have news on that front, " piped up Arthur, "You told us that you have chosen a name for your son."

"I have," said Percy proudly, "Let's cut to the chase. Just as I named my first daughter Molly to honor you, mom, so too I am going to name my son Arthur to honor you, dad."

Arthur felt his eyes well up with tears of emotion.

"Y-you would do that to honor me?" cried Arthur chokily.

"Yes, dad," said Percy, "You are a good man, and you were a good father to all of us."

"I am very touched Percy, " said Arthur quietly.

"Dad, " said Percy proudly, "I have to say, I really respect your attitude of being non prejudiced. I especially your pro muggle attitude. Few pure bloods from your era respected muggles as you did."

"Arthur might have been a bit too fond of muggles, " interjected Molly, thinking of Arthur's ridiculous habits of collecting plugs and batteries.

"Even by then, there were few true pure blood wizarding families left and most of them remained so because they were hyper pro pure blood. If such a bias doesn't exist, it's inevitable that someone in the family will fall for a muggle or muggleborn at some point, breaking the cycle, " explained Arthur.

"You were always a hard worker, a quiet humble man, a man who loved his family and who loved people in general," said Percy fondly, "And you're a skilled wizard to boot."

"How long have you known you were going to name your son after me?" Arthur asked Percy curiously.

"Since I've known my next and last child is a boy," said Percy matter of factly, "You deserve the honor and after having named my first daughter after mom, it felt fitting to name my son after you, dad, especially since I've now decided he will be my last child."

"Thanks, Percy," said Arthur gratefully.

And at that, father and son just smiled at each other.
