-Unnamed Desert…-

The Chosen Undead and co had been transported to a Green Demon Realm led by a Pharaoh in the desert. It looked lush and full of life.

"I did not expect the desert to be...this lively," the Bearer of the Curse said.

"No kidding…I do remember that deserts aren't supposed to be THIS alive and full of plants," the Ashen One said.

"How did that happen?" The Chosen Undead wondered.

"I do not know…" The Bearer of the Curse said with a shrug.

"Let's ask," the Ashen One suggested.

"Sure," the Bearer of the Curse said in agreement.

They had been teleported over there by Shirokuto and had a pleasant trip.

However, the same cannot be said for Clark and his idiot friends who had to walk their way over there as it was hot. It wasn't a pleasant trip at all.

They were about to stop to take a break when a Sandworm showed up.

Of course, Bob the "companion" of the Ashen One saw how the latter dealt with a Sandworm before so he knows exactly how to deal with her.

"HURL LIGHTNING SPEAR!" Bob said as he hurled it at the Sandworm, which simply bounced off the exterior.

"What?!" Bob said in total shock. "Why didn't it work?!"

"Is it immune to lightning or something?" Dylan wondered.

Then the "tongue" of the Sandworm came out. But said tongue was odd, as it was a beautiful lady that was completely naked.

"OH GODS, IT'S ANOTHER ONE!" Bob said in total horror.

"That's right~!" The Sandworm said as they ran away. "They run faster than I expected."

She was surprised and impressed.

-Meanwhile with the three protagonists-

The Chosen Undead, the Ashen One, and the Bearer of the Curse had arrived at a temple in the green demon realm of the Pharaoh they are supposed to meet. It was big and impressive.

"A lot more impressive than the desert ruins I've seen," the Bearer of the Curse said.

"Well at the very least, there aren't skeletons nearby like when I was in the Catacombs of Carthus…" The Ashen One said.

"No, skeletons prefer less sandy tombs," Shirokuto said.

"And, of course, there are skeletons in this world…" The Ashen One said.

"Indeed there are," Shirokuto said.

"Are they…any better than our skeletons?" The Ashen One asked.

"If by "any better", you mean "won't stab you in the back", then yes," Shirokuto asked.

"Well, that's fine…" The Chosen Undead said as they entered the temple. It was actually rather clean compared to the other temples they visited, which were usually either ruined, destroyed, or a shadow of their former selves in one way or another.

"It seems that they did not neglect the maintenance of this place," the Ashen One said.

"I can tell…" The Bearer of the Curse said as the three of them looked around. Seeing all the impressive architecture and how nice it all was.

The trio then arrived at the tomb of the Pharaoh in the temple.

"This must be where the Pharaoh rests," the Ashen One said.

"Let's hope she is benevolent…" The Bearer of the Curse said as the sarcophagus opened and out of it came the Pharaoh, yawning, making it clear that she was sleeping before the trio came around. The mamano then noticed them before waving at the trio as she got out of her sarcophagus.

"I've been expecting you," the Pharaoh said.

"Oh, really now?" The Ashen One said.

"Yes, really now," the Pharaoh said.

"So how did you expect us anyways?" The Bearer of the Curse asked.

"A friend of mine said you were coming," the Pharoah said.

"And who is that?" The Ashen One said.

"That's me~," Kuroferuru said as she showed up.

"Oh, done chasing the fools?" The Ashen One asked.

"For now~," Kuroferuru said.

"Did that idiot worse than Patches Hollow out?" Chosen Undead asked.

"No. Say, how is he worse if he does exactly like him?" Kuroferuru said.

"At least Patches knew when to stop. When he sells things, he's actually helpful, all things considered," the Chosen Undead said.

"I'll say. He's still alive from where I come from," the Ah sen One said.

"How did he survive during all of those ages?" The Chosen Undead asked.

He was surprised that the man who tried to trick him would go on to survive throughout the ages.

"I'd say by doing what he did in your era. Know when to quit," the Ashen One responded. "And it was crazy...At least he sells useful things."

He sighed.

"I see," the Pharoah said. "Very interesting…"

It was interesting for her, right now.

"So now what?" The Bearer of the Curse asked.

"Well you still have plenty of time on your hand before undertaking your quest, so why don't I have my servants to show you around?" The Pharoah asked.

"Sure…I don't mind…" The Ashen One asked.

"Then follow me…" The Pharoah said.

They followed her.

-Meanwhile…-

Eventually, the three stooges arrived at their destination. But not before TRYING to kill the mamanos in the kingdom who they thought were raping and making their husbands their sex slaves. Their points were proven wrong when the husbands of the mamanos along with them tore them apart. Some only found out afterward that they revive after death.

"Finally!" Bob said.

"We are finally at our destination…" Clark said. "After dying do many times!"

"Now what?" Dylan asked.

"We loot the place!" Bob said.

"YAY!" Clark & Dylan said.

Before they could enter, they had to deal with the Sphinx who was guarding the temple.

"Nya~! Hello there!" The Sphinx said.

"We're looking for whoever wiped out the Order encampment we joined," Bob said.

"And treasures!" Dylan said.

"I'll let you in...if you answer my riddles~!" The Sphinx said.

"We're great with riddles!" Bob said.

"Well, here I go!" The Sphinx said. "First riddle!"

"This is going to be easy!" Bob said.

"I know!" Dylan said.

"What is cool and nice? Who is warm and loving?" The Sphinx said.

They tried to think about it hard.

"Is it ice and fire?" Bob asked.

"That's exactly what I was thinking," Dylan said.

"It's ice and fire!" Clark said.

They all said ice and fire.

"Nope, it's not that! It's actually…" the Sphinx said as she got up close to them with a lewd smile. "One of you being my husband~! Having a husband is cool and nice~ And a husband is warm and loving~!"

"Nope, anything but that!" Clark said.

"Yeah, we refuse!" Bob said.

"You really are as no fun as she said... Change of rules. I'll ask you three riddles that are easier and less alien to your prude brains. If you get all three right, you can enter. If you get even a single one wrong, you become my husbands~. Don't worry, none of them have answers that involve you becoming my husbands," the Sphinx said.

"Sweet I wonder what they're like..." Bob said.

"First riddle: What are your names?" The Sphinx said.

"Bob!" Bob said.

"Clark!" Clark said.

"Dylan!" Dylan said.

"Hmmmmm…Correct! Next riddle: What is your quest?" The Sphinx said.

"That's easy!" Clark said.

"Very easy!" Bob said. "Our goal is a simple one, really!"

"TAKE OVER THE WORLD!" All three said at once.

"...I...guess this counts as...correct... Anyway... Final Riddle…" The Sphinx said. "Who is behind this door?"

She points at the entrance door of the temple.

"Treasure!" Dylan said.

"I said "who", not "what"," the Sphinx said.

"Wait! Someone's inside?! But how could we know who's in there?!" Bob said.

"I guess you're right... I guess you do deserve a clue... Isn't that right?" Clark said towards the door.

"You sure do, Big Brothers~!" Kuroferuru said from behind the door.

"Oh no! Oh noooooooooo!" Bob said in absolute terror.

"Er...if we get it right, does the door open?" Dylan asked, looking nervous.

"Maybe…maybe not…Oh, who am I kidding? Of course, it does! It opens as soon as you get it right!" The Sphinx said as Dylan looked crestfallen.

"And...if we get it wrong...we're stuck with you?" Clark asked.

"That's right~!" The Sphinx said.

"Welp, you know what this means, right?" Bob asked.

"Yes, I do…" Clark said.

"Only one thing to do…" Dylan said.

They approached each other...and pulled out their swords.

"I'll see you at the bonfire," all three said at once and they mutually stabbed each other in the back simultaneously.

YOU DIED

"Did they kill themselves?" Kuroferuru asked.

"Yes they did," the Sphinx asked.

"Cheaters…" Kuroferuru said.

"Next time, I'll make suicide count as a loss," Sphinx said.

"Speaking of which I found these pellets and shurikens on this side of the door…" Kuroferuru said.

"Oh, these?" The Sphinx said. "Well an easterner and alongside a boy left them there. I don't know why they were here, but they asked where they were at."

"Oh, and why did they leave those here?" Kuroferuru said.

"Fought some guys with the Order," the Sphinx said. "Mostly the easterner. And left some of those stuff behind to go off somewhere else,"

"Oh. Maybe I'll meet them later," Kuroferuru said.

"Will you chase them like you chase these boys?" The Sphinx said.

"Nah. Three is enough. Besides, they don't sound my type, anyway," Kuroferuru said.

"Oh okay…" The Sphinx said. "By the way, is chasing them really necessary?"

"To get them where they need to be for the better of our kind, yes. They may not be smart, but like the three smarter knights, they have their own tasks. Speaking of which, I do wonder what those other guys are doing?" Kuroferuru wondered.

-Back with the Competent Knights-

The Chosen Undead, Ashen One, and Bearer of the Curse are meeting with the Pharaoh's Anubis.

"Hello there," Anubis said.

"And hello to you too," the Bearer of the Curse said.

The two waved at the Anubis.

"Say can you explain to us why you serve your Pharaoh?" The Ashen One asked.

"Oh, me?" Anubis said. "I do so because I must serve under her…It is what I exist for."

"I see…" The Bearer of the Curse said.

"Do you like it?" The Chosen Undead asked.

"Yes, I do. I live to serve. Like a knight. Are you not one?" The Anubis asked.

"Now that I think about it, why do you wear the same armor as Anri?" The Ashen One asked.

He was referring to…The Chosen Undead, who was wearing the Elite Knight set.

"Hmmm?" The Chosen Undead said. "Oh, this? Well…It's been a while…"

"Either way, I am rather curious about your thoughts on humans in general…" The Bearer of the Curse said.

"Well…" The Anubis said as she began to think hard about it.

"You can take your time…" The Ashen One said as he was patient with the Anubis.

"Well some humans aren't all that bad…there was this duo who came here before…" The Anubis said.

"Who were they?" The Ashen One asked.

"Well they were easterners but I was unfortunate enough to not know their names," the Anubis said. "I did, however, get to see what they look like but once again I couldn't find out their names as they left soon after…"

"Were they from our world?" The Chosen Undead said.

"Once again I wasn't able to find out. They fought some Order forces who were attempting to invade this place. Though oddly enough one of them looked like a child, he simply hid from the battle, so he clearly wasn't a fighter," the Anubis said.

"Another monster?" The Chosen Undead asked.

"I didn't get a good look. But either way they left saying they wanted to go home…" The Anubis said.

"Like us, I suppose," the Ashen One said.

"I did hear they were heading on over to Zipangu or something," the Anubis said.

"Interesting. We will have a look over there once we're done with our tasks in the desert," the Chosen Undead said.

-Meanwhile…-

Back at the bonfire, the idiots had last lit, an Apophis showed up to the trio.

"You must be the three fools who used death to escape from marriage," the Apophis said.

"Uuuhhhh who are you?" Bob asked.

"Just someone who saw what you were doing," the Apophis said.

"Well, are you affiliated with those monsters?" Clark asked.

"Not the Pharaohs," the Apophis said.

"Oh cool," Bob said.

"But that was rather rude to leave a good friend of mine hanging," the Apophis said.

"What do you mean?" Clark said.

"She was just waiting for the door to open, yet instead of opening it, you stabbed yourselves," the Apophis said.

"OH SHIT!" Dylan said in realization.

"Oh, there she is," the Apophis said as she saw Kuroferuru arrive.

"Hello, Big Brothers~," She said with a smile and a wave.

"Oh fuck this! Let's get outta here!" Clark said.

They left in a hurry.

"Wait for me~!" Kuroferuru said as she ran after them.

'They're going exactly where we need them to go. They're so reliable~' She thought with a smile.

A/N: So here we go, some more shenanigans in the desert region…nothing too special is happening…though you may be wondering what the Anubis and Sphinx meant by Shinobi and child…well you'll get one hell of a surprise…
