"To the bride and groom!" Barbara raised her glass. The people around the room tapped their knives to their glasses, and Dick rolled his eyes at Barbara over the other bridesmaid's heads before he leaned over and kissed Harley's cheek.
"Oh boo!" Will shouted. "Give the girl a real kiss!"
Dick laughed and stood up, tugging Harley to her feet; she squeaked in surprise as he pulled her into his arms and dipped her, kissing her passionately. The crowd cheered, but he couldn't hear them, still holding Harley in his arms as he looked down at her. His dark hair was slicked back but a few strands framed his face, nearly silhouetted in the sunlight. His smile was dazzling.
"Hi," he breathed, studying her face as he grinned. They hadn't had a moment's peace since the reception began.
"Hi," she giggled. "How many more times do you think they're gonna make us do this?"
"Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn," he beamed, kissing her again. Will and Tim laughed as Jason booed.
"Get a room!" he shouted, laughing. Dick set Harley on her feet again, flashing a grin at Jason. A low, warm breeze blew through the open canopy tent, set with a head table at one end and small round tables for the guests. There were no walls on it and they could see the entire circus grounds, colorful tents, and beyond that- the Gotham skyline and the glittering water in the sunlight. They couldn't have asked for a more beautiful evening.
"I think it's about time the mingling was over and we got some food, huh?" Dick laughed and addressed the crowd. "Buffet is at the back of the tent. Everybody go eat as much as you like!"
"Finally!" Tim cried, hurdling the head table. Jason followed suit.
"Tim— Jason—" Bruce barked, standing up quickly, but Selina caught his arm with a smile.
Dick's arm was loosely around Harley's waist as he laughed at his brothers. He was distracted, but he hadn't really let go of her since he'd taken her hands at the altar, always touching her leg or holding her with a hand on her back.
"You know I think we're supposed to get to eat first." She nudged him with her shoulder as she laughed.
"We are?" Dick glanced over at the line forming and then shrugged, pulling her close and wrapping both his arms around her waist. "Screw the rules. Let them eat so we can breathe for a second." he rested his forehead on hers. "God, you are so beautiful," he sighed. He hadn't stopped smiling yet.
"You're pretty handsome yourself." She kissed his nose as she grinned. "Even though I did spend a long time picking out that suit jacket."
"Your daughter spent about five seconds ruining it," he laughed. "You gonna tell me the story with this, Nymphadora?" he asked, twirling a strand of her pink hair around his finger.
"No idea," Harley admitted. "Apparently we had a lot of fun last night… and a lot of regrets this morning."
"I can tell," Dick's eyes wandered down to her tattoo under the lace. "You going to let me see what this is?" he asked and bit his lip, pulling her hips against his.
"What? You want me to take the whole dress off to show you?" she teased.
"I was thinking I could take it off," he whispered and then bit her ear, still smiling. she didn't think he could stop.
"The horror of the wedding reception," she breathed, "you have me forever, but you have to wait to have me." She kissed his cheek with a grin.
"Oh that's just cruel and you know it," he laughed. His hand trailed up her back and he held her tight. "I'll get you yet today," he smirked, his fingers lacing with hers. Dick kissed her cheek.
"Congrats," Selina popped up next to them, and Dick jumped. "Hey. If I didn't get any alone time at my wedding, you won't either. Now go on and get your wife some food while I talk to her," Selina pushed Dick away. "Go on, get out of here." He laughed and walked off as Selina planted a glass of champagne in Harley's hand. "You two are adorable."
"I'd like to say we don't try, but it's actually a lot of effort." Harley giggled before sipping her champagne. "I promise our routine is much better when we have the baby. Automatic cuteness boost."
"Ugh, some people have all the luck," she giggled, rubbing her stomach as she looked over at Bruce. "I need to get me one," she winked.
"Just don't steal mine, okay? You have to promise to give her back when we come back."
"I don't want to make any promises I can't keep," Selina giggled as Dick returned with two plates of food, setting them down on the table. He kissed Harley's cheek and then sat down, grabbing his glass of champagne.
"We can always leave her with Will and Molly while we're on our honeymoon if you're gonna try and keep her," she warned with a smile as she leaned on Dick's shoulders. He closed his eyes and smiled.
"No! I'm not gonna take her," Selina giggled into her glass. "Now eat up you two. You've got a lot of dancing to do later." she laughed, shaking her butt as she walked over to Bruce. Her hands trailed up his chest and over his shoulders. "I got a tattoo," she told him suddenly and grinned. His eyes widened in shock.
"You did? Where?"
"It's a bat, and you'll have to find it yourself. I'll give you a hint— it's not in plain sight." She stepped away from him with a smile. Without looking back, she sauntered over to the head table, dragging Bruce along by his hand.
"Selina you can't just… you didn't just…" He groaned in frustration.
"What's the matter baby? Cat got your tongue?" She giggled, turning around and pressing her body against his, her arms around his neck. "I got a piercing too," she whispered, pushing herself against him so he could feel the diamond stud in her belly button. Bruce swallowed hard.
"Anything else I should know about?"
"Yes," she grinned. "The underwear I'm wearing is from the new collection you bought me. The sheer silver ones you liked? With all the holes?" She kissed his cheek softly, and he could feel her smiling triumphantly.
"And can you tell me why you feel the need to taunt me like this?" He pulled her down with him to sit on his lap.
"Because you can't do a damn thing about it, and it's so much fun," Selina grinned, making absolutely certain her short skirt wasn't under her where she sat on him, and she ground her hips back into his lap a bit. Bruce sighed and leaned his forehead against hers.
"You don't want to eat something or enjoy the reception before you start bringing up the idea of skipping out of here?"
"Oh we're not skipping out here. You're staying for your son's wedding reception and that's that." She kissed his cheek. "May God have mercy on you when I start dancing."
"Look at them," Dick glanced over at Bruce and Selina with a smile, sighing a bit before looking at Harley. "Bet you dollars to doughnuts that they don't make it to ten o'clock."
"And what's your bet on how long we make it?" she asked as she tore a piece of roll apart and popped it in her mouth. Dick glanced at her with a smirk before kissing her cheek and whispering in her ear.
"I was under the impression we had to make it to the end," he grinned. "But if that's not the case…" Dick kissed behind her ear and down her neck, still smiling.
"I'm pretty sure we're supposed to," she told him, leaning away as she giggled. "And Selina warned me that since she didn't skip out, we're not allowed to escape either."
"Fine," Dick laughed. "Then we'll just skip out when they do and be back before they return," he chuckled, taking her hand and lacing his fingers with hers. "Your vows were beautiful, by the way," he smiled a little, looking out at the guests chatting at the tables before his gaze returned to her. His eyes matched the color of his shirt, making them stand out brightly against the backdrop of the circus tents.
"Yours too, husband dearest." She beamed at saying the words before leaning toward him and whispering in his ear. "And when I get you alone, I'm not going to want to give you up, so this is idea you have that we'd make it back before them is hugely misplaced."
Dick laughed, turning his head to kiss her gently. "Touché, my love. Touché."
"You just have to make it through a few hours and… whatever honeymoon plans you have," she hedged.
"You can keep trying, I'm not telling you, Princess Bubblegum," he smirked.
"But I didn't know what kind of clothes to pack," she teased. "How… small and skimpy of clothes to pack."
"Try a parka and boots," Dick grinned, not looking at her as he drank his wine. "You'll need them, Mrs. Grayson."
"No beach?" Harley pouted a little. "I wanted to work on my tan."
"You will," he smirked at her again as the tent filled with the sounds of knives clinking against glasses. Dick caught her face and turned her towards him to kiss her.
"You're being all cryptic on purpose," she mumbled against his lips.
"You're going to have to force it out of me if you want to know," he answered, biting her lip. Barbara cheered behind Harley.
"You want me to try and work it out of you," she breathed. His hair had lost its neat, styled look almost as soon as they'd left the altar and was was back to its usual disheveled appearance; Harley ran her hands through it. Dick laughed and nodded as Jason shouted 'get a room!' behind him. He leaned away from Harley with a smile and tucked her hair behind her ear.
"So what next? Should we cut cake or wait a bit?" he asked, as Harley caught sight of Joe rolling into the tent, with some difficulty through the grass, in a wheelchair.
"Joe!" Harley ran around the head table to him. "How are you?!"
"Hey, kiddo. Congratulations!" Harley couldn't help smiling even though she was trying to worry over him.
"Thanks but how are you? Are you in pain?"
"I'm alright," he smiled at Harley. "You should be more worried about your hair! What happened to you sweetheart?" He laughed.
"I got drunk and made some bad decisions. You see that sort of thing in your business every day and shouldn't be surprised." She giggled as she moved behind him to push him to a table. Dick smiled at her from the head table lovingly. Sam stood up and pulled some chairs out of her way so she could push Joe to the table.
"I can get him some food," he smiled, walking off. Harley made sure Joe was settled.
"Are you sure you're okay. What happened?"
"Just a little fender bender," he chuckled happily. "I'm proud of you, sweetheart. You look beautiful." He put a hand on her cheek. "Now where's that Grayson kid so I can threaten him a whole bunch?" Joe laughed and looked at Dick, who was chatting with Tim at the head table.
"No problem." Harley kissed his cheek before moving over to Dick. "Joe wants to make you uncomfortable so you stutter and probably knock something over."
"Of course," Dick laughed and wiped his mouth with his napkin. He kissed Harley's cheek and smiled. "I'm going to go check on Haly too—" he was cut off as Jason started tapping his knife on his glass, and the rest of the guests joined in. Harley grinned before grabbing his face.
"It's really annoying, but I can't be mad at any chance to kiss you," she admitted. Dick laughed and kissed her slowly, holding her tight.
"It is really annoying," Dick agreed. "But ditto." He kissed her again.
"I have to remind myself that there are other people around," Harley murmured. She bit his lip as she grinned up at him. He kissed her gently and then walked past her, heading off to talk to Joe.
"Hey Harley! What now?" Barbara smiled up at her. Tim and Steph were giggling to each other and talking, and Selina was teasing Bruce on the other end of the table.
"Is everyone finished eating?" Harley glanced around the room. The guests were finishing their meals, most of them done and the plates shoved aside. Bruce smiled up at Selina, and Barbara nodded.
"I think so," she smiled.
"I don't know…" Harley glanced at Ivy who was distracted by Jason. "First dance or something?"
"You guys should get some pictures," Selina suggested.
"Thats a great idea!" Barbara grinned. "Did you guys get a photographer?"
"Um, no," Harley laughed. "Didn't really need pictures out there for the cops to find me."
"True. So we're taking your pictures then?" Barbara smiled. "You'll want to remember this!"
"Remember what, Barbie?" Dick grinned as he walked up to the head table, leaning over it to kiss Harley's cheek.
"Grayson, I swear to God…" Barbara snapped.
"I know right?" Harley whispered and rolled her eyes.
"I'm sorry, but the blonde was almost more shocking than the pink," he chuckled.
"It confused you enough," Barbara agreed. Dick's ears turned red, and he was mentally begging her not to bring it up again. He smiled up at Harley.
"So? Should we start moving tables for the dance floor?" he asked, his hands on his hips. Behind him, Cassandra had found the camera and begun taking pictures of the head table.
"First I guess they want some pictures of us or something because we might want to remember this day," she teased.
"Oh good cuz I was bound to forget," Dick laughed. "Come on. Let's get pictures, then we can cut the cake, and get the party started." Dick took her hand and helped Harley around the table. Once she was on the same side as him, she moved in close to his side and wrapped her arms around him as they walked.
"Who's the photographer?" she asked.
"He can do it!" Barbara called; she snatched the camera from Cass and tossed it to Sam. He caught it with a smile, already snapping photos as they walked back to the main circus tent. Dick glanced over his shoulder and then kissed Harley's cheek.
"I told the DJ to get set up, and I think Gordon was going to supervise the moving of tables. Just to keep things going." Dick had rolled his sleeves up and his tie was loosened already from the constant pulling.
"Yes, little work on our part," Harley cheered. She stood on tiptoe for a second to kiss his cheek. "And the faster they move things along, the faster we can get out of here."
"I wouldn't be opposed to slipping away while they take some photos," Dick smiled, kissing her hand, their fingers wound tightly together.
"I think they'd notice if the bride and groom weren't in the wedding photos," Harley laughed.
"Fine," he rolled his eyes, nuzzling her cheek. "The pink is kinda growing on me. Barbara… spooked me a little." Dick laughed.
"Yeah," Harley gave him a half grimace, "I guess when we were drunk we purposefully did it to confuse you."
"Oh thank god," Dick sighed. "I may or may not have accidentally… felt up Barbara when I went to the Manor this morning." he winced and bit his lip. "I swear I thought she was you."
"You felt her up?" Harley asked before thinking about it. "Well at least you didn't slap her ass," she shrugged as she tried not to laugh.
"I don't think I did," Dick chuckled. They went into the main tent, and Dick turned to look at everyone. "How are we going to do these?"
"I have no idea." Harley shrugged.
"It's your wedding," Barbara reminded them, "you're supposed to know."
"Ivy?" Harley asked.
"Nuh uh, I ran everything before the wedding."
"Let's just get this over with, shall we?" Dick sighed. "Bridal party, groomsmen, bridesmaids, and a couple of me and Harley and we can be done with it."
"Sounds good to me," Jason shrugged, pulling a cigarette out of his breast pocket. Ivy pulled it out of his mouth and stuck it back in his pocket. Harley turned to stand next to Dick and waited for everyone to line up around them. Sam started taking photos of them. Dick leaned down and kissed her cheek.
"I was gonna use that," Jason muttered to Ivy.
"Just what every wedding photo needs," she hissed right back.
"Come on, I'll hide it," he rolled his eyes. "We've been running around all day, cut me some slack." She narrowed her eyes at him.
"Did you have that pack in your pocket the whole ceremony?"
"Maybe," he smiled for the camera. She snatched it out of his pocket.
"Maybe you don't need it anymore then."
"Damn it, Ivy," Jason snapped, and he fell into Tim as he tried to grab it back.
"Hey!" Tim elbowed him away.
"What are you doing?" Bruce demanded, leaning forward to try and peer around at them.
"Nothing," Jason muttered as he scowled at Tim.
"Okay do you want to take the ones of the groomsmen now?" Sam smiled at the image preview on the camera.
"Sure!" Steph cheered. She looped her arms through Harley's and Barbara's.
"Is Alfred here?" Harley asked. "Is he in them?" She tried to turn around and Steph marched her out of the way.
"Alfred has Haly," Dick called to her as the boys lined up beside him. Jason stood on the end, flicking his lighter on and off. Harley looked around till she spotted them.
"Don't move till I get him!" She darted off. Dick smiled after her, and Bruce followed Selina, whispering something to her before returning to the group.
Jason flicked his lighter on behind Tim's head, making him jump.
"Knock it off." He tried to slap it out of Jason's hand. Harley walked back over with Haly in her little carrier and Alfred beside her. Haly was asleep tucked in her blanket.
"Hey Alfie!" Jason called.
"Come on, Alfred," Dick smiled, and Alfred joined them for the pictures. Sam snapped a few, and then waved the girls in for their photos. Dick took Haly from Harley and kissed her cheek as the ladies lined up.
"Can we do Charlie's Angels?" Steph asked.
"I'm game!" Harley agreed. "But serious first?"
"Sure," Selina smiled. Sam took a few pictures.
"Angels time!" Steph cried and nearly smacked Barbara with her finger gun.
"Hey!"
"Oh relax it didn't actually hit you," Selina rolled her eyes as they posed for a few more pictures. Damian slipped away halfway through, and Dick made sure they got photos of the couples. Jason and Ivy started arguing, and Steph was complaining by the time they were nearly finished; until Dick finally let everyone go so he and Harley could take pictures alone. Selina took the camera from Sam so he could leave with Barbara, and she started snapping pictures of them. Dick grinned, holding Harley close. "You don't need to leave the porch light on when I'm out at night anymore. I'll be guided home by your hair," he smirked, and kissed her nose.
"Hey, at least I could keep my hair styled through the whole ceremony," she defended. She flicked his nose in return. Dick smiled down at her.
"I looked fantastic," he grinned.
"I can't argue with that," Harley giggled. She gave him a quick kiss before refocusing on Selina. They took a few more photos, Selina fussing over them, until they were satisfied. The sun was nearing the horizon as they walked back to the tent; where the DJ was set up by the dance floor and yellow bulbs hung from the draping canvas, lighting the room.
"Finally!" Tim cried. "Is it cake time?"
"Dance comes first, dummy," Steph told him.
"If you two are ready, I can let the DJ know," Ivy offered.
"Why does dance come first?!" Jason looked at Steph. "I'm hungry again!"
"Dance before Haly wakes up," Dick agreed, and nodded at Ivy to tell the DJ as he took Harley's hand and led her out onto the makeshift dance floor, the hard packed dirt serving as a nice flat surface.
"If she wakes up, you do realize you're going to have to fight off Selina to take care of her," Harley teased. Dick smiled.
"You know, I think I'll let grandma handle it," he laughed and took Harley's waist as they waited for the song to begin.
"Good." She laced her fingers on the back of his neck. "She'll have her when we leave; she might as well start early."
"Europe, by the way," Dick said in her ear with a smile. "We're going to Europe."
"Really?" She beamed at him and bounced a little on the balls of her feet. "When do we leave?"
"A couple of days from now," Dick smiled, glancing up as Barbara gave them a wave, and the music started. Dick began guiding her around the dance floor with a smile.
"You know what that means, right?" Harley asked as she happily followed his lead, still grinning.
"What does that mean?" He chuckled, his eyes shining.
"That not only do I get to show you I love you in more than one country," she leaned close and whispered in his ear, "but I get to make you mine on more than one continent."
Dick laughed merrily and pulled her closer, sweeping her around the dance floor. "Then I'm glad that I could give you a wedding present we'll both enjoy," he chuckled.
"You're a good enough wedding gift." She kissed his cheek. "Everything else is just a bonus."
"Good, because I heard rumors that Tim got us a pretty sick toaster from Goodwill." He smiled against her cheek. His hand was open on the small of her back, holding her against his chest as he pulled her along in the dance. The music filled the tent, lit by the sunset over the city in the horizon. Harley rested her head on his shoulder, nudging her head against his neck.
"Well Selina already gave me a pretty great gift at my bachelorette party," Harley suddenly remembered. "I think you'll like that one at least."
"Your tattoo?" Dick smiled and kissed her forehead. He closed his eyes and listened to the music, squeezing her hand. "What is it?"
"A little something that'll show off the tattoo," she giggled. "And show off other things."
"Oh," Dick chuckled. "I thought you meant the tattoo was the gift," he leaned down to whisper in her ear. "When do I get to see these 'other things'?" He spun her out, and then pulled her back into his arms.
"Well if the honeymoon's not for a couple of days… you may have to wait," she taunted. Dick smiled and pulled her close, his lips brushing her ear.
"Harley Quinn, there is nothing I want more in this moment than you." As the song ended, he dipped her low to the ground, a light kiss landing on her throat as he whispered against her skin. "But I would wait till the end of my days for you if I had to."
"That's a lovely sentiment," Harley giggled as he slowly stood her back on her feet, "but I'm having a hard time waiting until the end of tonight."
"You see if you can't wait, and I can't wait, what's stopping us?" He grinned and kissed her gently.
"Social roles and convention… and Selina. That's about it," she assured him. She was still standing in front of him with her hands clasped behind his neck despite the song being over.
"Well if we can slip past Selina," Dick glanced at her where she was talking to Bruce happily, "I'm okay with ignoring the rest. I've never been one for conventionality."
"What? You don't want to consummate our marriage in our wedding bed or something like that?" she teased with a grin.
"You mean in the house we already live in together with the child we've had together for half a year now?" Dick rested his forehead against hers, smiling as his hand slid down her waist.
"That'd be the one," Harley laughed. "Only this time I'd be sleeping with my husband instead of that fiancé fellow."
"You're not going to budge on this, are you?" He smiled down at her, giving up.
"Well…" She kissed his cheek and whispered in his ear. "There are other things we could do."
Dick shuddered and smiled a little, his eyes closed. "I can't take it anymore," he chuckled, grabbing her hand. They'd migrated to the edge of the dance floor, and everyone was chatting together, music playing loudly for the few people dancing. Dick slipped out of the tent, dragging Harley along through the night air as he laughed.
"You better hope Selina doesn't catch us." She giggled as she held her skirt out of the way so she wouldn't trip over it. She gripped his hand tighter so she wouldn't trip on the uneven ground in her heels.
"I was trained by the king of Darkness. She won't catch us," Dick grinned, pulling her under the flap of the main tent into the dark. He laughed; he couldn't see anything. Harley reached forward and grabbed onto his shirt so she didn't lose him in the darkness. Dick's hands found her face and he kissed her lovingly, one arm dropping to wrap around her waist.
"Hey Mr. Grayson," she breathed. Her hands bunched in his shirt as she pulled herself against him.
"Hey yourself, Mrs. Grayson," Dick grinned against her mouth, and he bit her lip. Harley bounced up on her tiptoes as she slid her hands into his hair and kissed him desperately.
"I really like the sound of that," she admitted.
"Mmm, so do I," Dick smiled and kissed her hard, pulling her hips against his, his lips falling away from hers so he could kiss down her neck. She grinned, her hands tightening in his hair before she let go. She frantically started unbuttoning his shirt. Dick sighed and bit Harley's neck, his hand pulling her dress up her leg. She pushed his shirt off his shoulders before grabbing his face.
"I love you."
"I love you more than you know," Dick replied, barely visible in the dark, his eyes shining with pride and happiness. He kissed her slowly, and then his fingers pulled the zipper of her dress down her back. "Let's see that tattoo," Dick whispered against her lips.
"And tell me how exactly," she pulled him against her by his belt, smirking, "do you plan on doing that in the dark?"
"You wouldn't believe how well trained my eyes are after growing up with a man who lives his life in it," Dick smiled, leaning back against the fabric draped stands, forgetting that they were hollow underneath. He cried out as they fell and he landed hard in the dirt. Dick laughed. His smile was still dazzling in the dark, even though she could hardly see it, her beautiful face framed in curls and the support beams of the bleachers behind her.
"Well you didn't see that coming," she teased and gave him a quick kiss. She paused to make sure she hadn't hurt him when she fell on him before planting her hands on the ground above his shoulders and grinning down at him. "Not that I'm objecting to it."
"I don't mind," Dick breathed, his hands sliding over her shoulders as he pulled her dress down, squinting at her tattoo in the dark. Harley slid her arms out of the dress and laughed at him.
"You keep getting sidetracked by that."
"I can't see it, but it's still sexy." Dick kissed down her neck and over her bare shoulder. She couldn't help but notice that he was being incredibly careful to keep her dress out of the dirt, bunching it around her hips in the process. Harley rolled her eyes but couldn't help smiling.
"You could just take it off," she suggested. "And… it's a robin."
Dick stared at her for a moment before he broke into a grin. "A robin? Like me? If you thought I had a swollen ego because I got to marry you, what on earth were you thinking branding yourself with something that just makes me more proud to be yours?" He beamed with a laugh, and his hands twisted in her hair.
"I wasn't thinking, remember?" She kissed his nose. "But it would've been some jazz about wanting you with me or showing others that I'm yours or something." She grinned. "Is that a problem?"
"God no," Dick grinned broader and kissed her hard. "I'm your willing captive forever, Harley Quinn," Dick whispered against her lips, before kissing her again.
"Excuse me," she sat up and pulled her dress over her head, "but it's Harley Grayson." He bit his lip, a soft moan escaping his mouth as his hands trailed up her sides.
"God, is it wrong how much that's a turn on?" He grinned, catching her chin in his hand to pull her into a kiss.
"Probably," Harley murmured against his lips. She trailed her hands down his bare chest to his belt. "But I'm okay with it." Dick moaned softly and kissed her slowly, savoring the taste like he'd never be able to stop. His hands trailed down her back and over her hips. Harley sighed, her lips opening against his, and her eyes closed at his delicate touch on her skin. She quickly unbuckled his belt and pulled it out of the loops of his pants. Dick was laughing softly against her lips now, and his kiss grew even more desperate, his hands pulling her hips down on his. "You better make this last before someone comes looking for us," Harley suggested, unbuttoning his pants as she ground her hips against his. Dick's lips fell away from hers, and he moaned loudly enough to echo through the whole tent. Harley giggled and covered his mouth with her hands. "You're gonna get us in trouble," she whispered. Dick tried to say something that was muffled by her hand, and when she took her hand away he kissed her passionately, tugging her underwear down. Instead of helping him, she pressed herself back down on him with a smug smile. Dick bit her lip with a moan.
"Dammit Harles," he chuckled against her lips, his hands trailing up her legs. He was breathing fast, his lips gentle against hers.
"Is there a problem?" she asked sweetly. She clenched her legs around his hips as her hands roamed across his chest. Dick's face contorted and he laughed.
"No problem at all Mrs. Grayson," he grinned against her lips, his hands coming to rest on her cheeks. "You know what?"
"What?" she breathed. She kissed slowly down his jaw to his neck.
"I love you," Dick whispered, closing his eyes at the touch of her lips. She grinned against his skin.
"I love you too." She beamed up at him. "But I do have a problem, Mr. Grayson." She bit his ear before sitting up, working her hips against his. "Care to help take care of it?" Dick moaned, his hands tightening on her hips.
"Always happy to help my wife," he grinned. She giggled before slowly working his pants down.
"Good because—"
"—Hello?" Harley glanced up. "Dick? Harley? Are you guys in here?"
Dick's grin vanished and he covered Harley's mouth, smothering his own giggling. He kissed her cheek and quickly pulled her dress over her head again.
"Hello?" Tim called again. "You in here?" Harley rested her chin on Dick's chest as she looked toward where Tim was yelling from. Dick smiled at Harley lovingly. She was so beautiful, even in the dark, and he put a finger to his lips to silence her before sitting up and kissing her passionately. Harley grinned into the kiss and finally broke it off panting to whisper in his ear.
"You're gonna get us caught."
"I can be very very quiet…" He kissed her ear, his hands sliding up her legs under her dress.
"Oh really?" she breathed. She kissed along his neck as her hands dug into his back and her hips ground against his. Dick had to stifle a groan, biting down on his lip, his neck muscles tensed powerfully as he closed his eyes.
"Okay I know you know you can do that," he snapped, giggling as he leaned forward and kissed her hard. "Now you're going to get us caught—" They were both suddenly blinded as Tim pulled the fabric aside and shined the light from his phone over them.
"Aw come on guys," he complained.
"Shh, we're not here," Harley told him.
"Aw come on, Tim," Dick laughed. "Five—" his voice went up as Harley subtly drove her hips down against his— "Ten— ten more minutes." He grinned. His hair and clothes were a mess.
"Please," Harley begged. She shielded her eyes with one of her hands. With her dress unzipped, the halter when she lifted her arm pulled away from her chest just enough for Dick to just barely make out the tattoo of a flying robin from the angle he was at. He cocked his head and stared at it thoughtfully.
"You know what? I never found you. If anyone asks, I was never here." Tim reasoned. Harley squinted through the light at him.
"Deal," she giggled. She gave Dick a sloppy kiss.
"Really guys?" Tim sighed as Harley laughed at him. He shook his head as he pulled the fabric closed again. Dick beamed and kissed down her neck, pulling her dress over her head again.
"I like the tattoo by the way," he told her between kisses, smiling against her skin. Harley giggled.
"Good because I've been told these things are kind of permanent." She pushed him back to the ground by his shoulders. Dick let out a soft oof as his back hit the dirt, and he pulled Harley down by her waist to kiss her hard. "Just like another kind of permanent thing we did today," she whispered against his lips as her hand trailed down his arm. She grabbed his hand and leaned back a little to kiss his palm as she smiled at the ring on his finger. Dick smiled gently.
"I love you. And I'm yours forever now," he stroked her cheek.
"Good." Harley released his hand to cup his face and kiss him passionately. "I love you too."
