A few hours later Rachel woke and looked around the stephs front room and sighed thinking that she woke in the arms of Eddie, but she didn't, Rachel sat up and got up putting her jacket on before looking for a spare key to Steph's in case she needed it she soon found it and put it in her jacket pocket and zipped it up so that she wouldn't lose it. She headed out the door while Steph was in the kitchen cooking for her, Maxine and Rachel , Maxine didn't realise that Rachel wasn't staying.

Rachel walked out the gate and headed into town, she looked around to make sure she couldn't see anyone that she knew before she went into the nearest club and went in, she looked around while she headed over to the bar. The brunette sat down at the bar before she lifted a drinks menu as she didn't know what she wanted to drink this time so she continued to look at the menu for a few minutes longer before she finally picked out a drink and asked the bartender for came back into the room and saw that she had gone so she let out a sigh as she didn't know what to do.

Eddie soon pulled up at Mel's after gathering his things from Rachel's, he watched Mel from the driver's seat who was inside standing by the front room window with her arms just stayed in his car, he was now staring into space thinking about how Rachel was going to cope without him not being around.

As Steph didn't know what to do she picked up her phone and brought up Eddies Eddies number,she was going to ring him and tell him about Rachel, as he still had a right to know if she was okay or not. Ed had put his phone back into his pocket before taking a breath before climbing out the car heading he entered the house he put his phone into his jeans pocket and took off his coat and hung it up before he decided to take his things upstairs to the spare bedroom. Mel soon watched him walk up the stairs and gave out another sigh as she wanted the pair to spend some time with each other, As Eddie threw himself onto the bed he got himself comfortable while he started to stare at the ceiling while thinking about what to do next

As the night went on, Rachel was getting more drunk to the point where she nearly got herself into a fight. Eddie soon decided to go down to where Mel was. He slowly walked into the front room and looked at Melissa while taking a breath

"We need to talk"

Mel looked at Eddie confused "What about?" she asked before raising her eyebrow

"I don't think I can do this, it's not fair on Rachel"

"Whats not fair on Rachel? She does this every time"

Eddie sighed "No she doesn't i think its you that always does this to her… If you haven't noticed i'm truly in love with her… something you wouldn't know" Eddie spat

"She's a Prostitute Eddie! She's the one who doesn't know what love is!" Mel spat back at him

"That was over Twenty years ago! She did what she had to do, shes changed now .. Your just jealous of her!"

"I am not jealous of her!" she shouted

"Yes you are! You didn't even like me before i got with Rachel… its like when Rach has something good you feel the need to take it way from her… You took me away from her once and im not gonna let you do it again, I'm sorry but we're not gonna work.. Not when my heart belongs to Rachel" he argued back at her

Mel just stared at him before she slapped him across the face in a rage of anger before speaking again "Then go and run back to her! But she'll be happy about that"

Eddie didn't say anything back just gathered his things and put them back into the car, as he was driving back to Rachel's he heard his phone go off so he pulled over and answered it as it was Steph who gave in about telling him about Rachel

"Eddie?"

"Steph whats wrong?"

"It's Rachel…"

"Is she okay? Is she with you?" he asked as he began to panic

"Urm… she was… but she went out a few hours ago.. Shes not come home yet… im worried that she's gonna go back down the prosititution road again.."

" Okay , im not gonna let that happen.. Do you know where she went?"

"I think she went into town…"

"I'll find her okay"

"Please"

"Don't worry im gonna bring her home safe"

"Thank you"

"It's no problem , look i need to go and find her before anything happens"

"That's okay" Steph spoke soft and then put the phone down, Eddie sighed as he started to driving in the direction of Town, Rachel had left the club that she was in , as she left she took a stumble and landed in a pile of broken glass where it cut deep into her wrist but as she was drunk she didn't feel it happen and got herself back up on her feet, she looked slightly down at her wrist and saw the blood but just let it bleed out as she continued to walk around the town.

As eddie pulled up into a free car park he spotted the brunette who was now sitting on the floor under a tree. Ed got out the car and walked over to the drunken brunette and gently called out her name

"Rachel?"

The drunken brunette looked up to see who it was "What are you doing here? Your meant to be with Melissa… she's the one you really want"

"I came to find you'

"Well you've found me now.. You can go back to her"

Eddie gently put his hand his check "hey im not leaving you in this state" he said as he hadn't looked at her wrist yet"

"But you're with Mel.."

Eddie went to sit by her and saw the blood pouring from her wrist "She doesn't matter anymore, this is about you" he paused for a second "Rach what happened to your wrist?"

Rach looked down at it again "I urm i fell over on to some glass"

Eddie nodded "Right, heres what we're gonna do.. Im gonna take you to A&E to get it cleaned up okay?" he asked her as she was slowly and softly stroking her cheek, Rach didn't know what to say so she just nodded at the man she loved.
