Project Lupa chronicles The Pack vs the Red Room C3

They made it to the prison where Natasha took charge, now that Alexi had his com unit and that she had Alex hack into the security they were able to get him into the yard. Natasha and Yelena shared a look as he made a mess of their plan only for Alex to jump down to take care of the guards.

"She learn that from you?" Yelena asked as Alex landed in a pose before attacking, that was when Yelena saw her fight. She had to admit Alex knew how to handle herself but it was when Alex jumped from one side of the prison walk way to the other, a jump not humanly possible was she surprised. "She has powers? I feel cheated." Yelena stated just as Natasha took off to help Alexie.

"Just keep it steady." Natasha replied the fight didn't last long mainly because Yelena used a rocket launcher to take care of a machine gun that was ripping into the helicopter it started an avalanche. Alex ended up grabbing Natasha and Alexie jumping into the helicopter just as it hit the prison. They were clear, and once Alexie started talking Natasha was half tempted to throw him back out of the helicopter.

"I cannot believe it, my two girls. I am so happy, just so proud of you, Natasha you…you are an Avenger and you Yelena you are the best assassin out there your ledger must be dripping red…I am…

"I want to throw him out." Yelena stated not at all happy with him especially when he brought up periods she tore into him how the red room took out their ovaries going into detail.

"I did…" Alexie began to defend his actions when Natasha interrupted him

"Alexie enough. That is not why we broke you out." Natasha stated

"Okay, then why did you?" he asked "Who is she?" he added looking back at Alex who was keeping him in her line of sight.

"A friend." Yelena stated

"Where is the red room?"

"I don't know."

"How can you not know? You and Drakov…"

"Drakov? Do not talk to me of him, he let me rot in prison all these years…" he then went on another rant about how he was betrayed.

"You are of no use then…"

"Why not ask Melina?" he stated when they threated to toss him out of the helicopter

"Mama?" Yelena asked

"She is alive?" Natasha asked at the same time

"She is the one closes to him, she was the brains I was the muscle… she lives in a small farm outside of Saint Petersburg."

"I don't think we have enough fuel for Saint Petersburg." Yelena remarked

"We will make it." Alexie assured only for them to crash land just outside of Saint Petersburg.

"You should have brought the Avengers super jet." Alexei stated after they disembarked "Why is she looking at me like that?" He added seeming Alex was staring at him "You still have not explained who she is?" he asked

"She is not your concern."

"Well can we trust her?" he asked

"More than you." Yelena stated even though she did not know Alex at all, she figured she would be better then him. Natasha ended up leading Alex away from them out of their earshot.

"Listen, I need you to do me a favour." Natasha began

"You want me to follow behind keep some distance." Alex guessed

"Yeah, I knew you would understand."

"A little disappointed I will miss out on the awkward family reunion but I can see where you are coming from. If you need me just shout."

"Once we find the red room I need you to make physical contact with Maria. So it can be logged." Natasha stated she knew that Maria would be following along with the link but they would need evidence that she contacted them.

"This is not my first rodeo." Alex replied walking off in the other direction.

"Where is she going?" Yelena asked

"To take care of the helicopter. She will meet up later." Natasha replied as they started their walk to the farm following Alexei as he led the way.

"Are you sure on this?" Yelena asked looking at her

"Is there any other way?" Natasha asked knowing that Yelena was going to go after the red room with or without her, this way she could make sure she didn't die.

The family reunion was as awkward as Natasha thought it would be the tension in the room was high and Natasha felt only slightly bad at taking it out on Yelena. Maria tried calming her down over the link but Natasha managed to block her and the others out, right now she did not want them in her head this was confusing enough she did not need the others opinions. she could feel Maria's understanding as the link went silent.

Natasha knew that Melina would sell them out, she also knew this was the only way to get to Dreykov and was grateful that Melina agreed with her plan. Things from there went by rather fast…she was surprised to see the flying fortress no wonder it was impossible to find. Maria was already getting the packs ready to leave once Alex made contact, she also knew Natasha's plan and was a little anxious over it but she trusted Natasha enough to get the job done this Natasha was grateful for especially when she came face to face with him. Seeing Dreykov again had her blood running cold as they spoke only for him to see through her ploy. While Natasha was talking to Dreykov Melina was making her way to the engine room so that she could land only for everything to go wrong. Melina was surrounded she fired her gun up hitting the engine. The explosion shook the entire fortress she landed on solid ground before running after Alexie four guards went to stop her only for Alex to arrive she took them down with ease. Melina stood their staring at her, not sure who she was she kept her gun aimed at her even though the floor they were standing on felt like it was going to give any second now.

"Who are you?" Melina asked once all 4 men were dealt with.

"Go!" Alex shouted at her not answering her question before she turned on her heels she needed to get to Natasha.

"We might have a problem." Melina stated over coms

"What?" Yelena had retrieved the vials from storage and was making her way to the widows when Melina stated a problem

"There is a strange girl here, she is not a widow." Melina stated that much she knew, the fighting style was different.

"Does she have blonde hair and badass powers?" Yelena asked

"Powers? I don't know, she is blonde though and she saved me."

"She is Natasha's friend. She always seems to just appear." Yelena informed her "We have an actual problem the widows are gone." Yelena stated entering the training room she grabbed a grenade and went towards the office. Melina ended up saving Alexie from the Taskmaster before the two of them headed for an exit seeming the fortress was falling.

Natasha was fighting the widows, trying not to die, she could feel her wolf on the brink wanting out to fight. But she kept her in with Maria's help she was using her strength to stay one step ahead of the widows not that she wasn't getting hurt she growled in annoyance. Explosions could be heard as the fortress was falling apart, knocking one widow away to grab a different ones weapon to use it on another. Only for the ones surrounding her to be sent flying back into a bundle on the ground. Natasha looked up and over to see Alex had come through a hole in the wall.

"I had them." Natasha stated rolling on the ground.

"Sure you did." Alex replied looking them over as they were getting back up.

"The place is falling apart did you have to break the wall?" Natasha asked

"Fastest way to you." Alex replied helping Natasha up from the ground before turning back to focus on the widows, Natasha could feel the energy pouring off Alex as she prepared herself for the fight.

"Don't hurt them, they are being controlled." Natasha told her getting ready to fight again only for a grenade to land between them sending out a cloud of red.

"You're welcome." Yelena stated before turning on her heel and running after Dreykov.

"Go after her." Natasha told Alex

"What about you?" Alex asked back Maria had told her to protect Natasha.

"I will be right behind you." Natasha stated before turning to the widows "You need to get out of here this place is falling." She informed them they left the room leaving her to get what she needed pulling out his ring from her pocket. Her plan had worked…well most of it.

'You need to get out!' Maria instructed

'Give me a minute. Where are you?'

'Coming, we won't make it in time though.' Maria told her she was currently on the bus heading for them with three other quin jets full of pack members. Natasha had grabbed the data and had started making her way out. 'Alex?' She asked

'Yes?'

'Are you out?' Natasha asked jumping in time to miss an explosion.

'Focus on yourself, do you need help?' she asked back not answering her question.

'I will be fine.' Natasha asked only to fall through the floor, getting to her feet she came face to face with Antonia. Natasha made a split second decision she set her free, thankfully before she could attack she fell through the floor giving Natasha the chance to escape. Natasha made it out onto the deck in time to see Yelena about to do something very reckless.
