Project Lupa chronicles The Pack vs the Red Room C5

Alex looked over at Maria they had been back at their apartment for 2 weeks now and in that time Maria had the doctors run many tests on Alex all of which were coming back inconclusive. The only thing they could tell her was that something was happening they just weren't sure what it was and how it will affect her. Alex had woken up with a bloody nose which is why they were back in the medical wing now waiting for the doctor to come in with the results.

"This is a waste of time." Alex stated

"Your health is not a waste of time." Maria pointed out but stopped noting a look in Alex's eyes. "Do you know what is going on with you?" Maria asked

"I have seen this before the headaches…the nosebleeds…" Alex replied

"What is the cause?" Maria asked

"I am failing." Alex replied

"What?"

"During training others showed these symptoms…they were taken away." Alex stated

"How did they help them?" Maria asked but she already dreaded the answer from the tone Alex was using.

"A bullet. They were failures…failures resulted in death." Alex replied

"We are not going to kill you."

"We don't know what they did to us, you might not be able to stop this."

"No Marcel wants you back."

"He doesn't know about this"

"No, we will find a way. Our doctors…"

"Can't comprehend what Marcel did to us in the first place, this might be above them." Alex stated

"I know someone that might be able to help." Natasha stated entering the room.

"I thought you were meant to be going in to help Stark today?" Maria asked

"I heard about this." Natasha replied "Can't have my rookie getting sick." Natasha added

"I will only get worse." Alex stated

"But Skye is fine." Maria pointed out

"We are different." Alex stated

"Then maybe Skye holds the answers." Maria stated Natasha nodded before going to call Coulson he and his team were currently back on the bus heading on a mission but once they were finished he would return with Skye. They could see that Alex did not think Skye held the answers but she did not say anything to them on the matter. Natasha made another call, this one to her family; maybe Melina could help.

Alex and Skye were playing cards at the table when Natasha returned with Melina, Alexie and Yelena. Both Skye and Alex assessed them as they entered before returning to their game. Skye was silently freaking out, she had remembered the others that had failed they were usually taken away after getting a nose bleed several times but there was one time when an Angel hid it well. Both Skye and Alex remembered what happened to her but they agreed not to share it mainly because they did not want to worry them.

"Nat thinks she can help." Skye mumbled

"False hope Skye."

"Ray survived." Skye pointed out "Marcel saved her."

"She is now his number one assassin. If we went against her, we would lose." Alex pointed out she didn't want to mention her mainly because she remembers the look in her eyes there was something off about her.

"He saved her that means there is a way." Skye stated

"Not if it makes me a puppet again." Alex replied dropping her cards on the table "I win." She stated before getting up and moving back to her room. She wanted Sharon but she was away still on assignment. Natasha was in a meeting with Maria and Coulson with her family she was trying to keep Alexie in line but he was trying to come off as the leader of their small family he was not fooling anyone.

"Will you be able to help?" Maria asked after briefing them of what was happening.

"I do not know what I can do…oh you were talking to Melina." Alexie stated rubbing his chin in thought.

"I had heard rumors of this…I did not think they were true. Mainly because Dreykov could never find proof…I will have to run tests." Melina stated

"We have a lab set up for you." Maria stated after having a silent conversation with Natasha. "Accommodations have also been arranged, but let me remind you that this is my home, there are other agents here they know who you are and why you are here but no fighting…please." Maria stated she knew she didn't need to but she was a SHIELD agent and they were technically Russian assassins.

Natasha led them out of the room, Yelena was eager for the tour of the house.

"Skye where is Alex?" Natasha asked although she knew exactly where she was.

"In her room asleep." Skye replied looking over the others closing her laptop screen. "I can go wake her."

"No, leave her. I will get them settled in first." Natasha stated noting the look Skye was giving her. "Skye this is Melina, Alexie and Yelena." Natasha introduced even though Skye knew who they were.

"So this is the other one." Melina mumbled as she assessed Skye

"Its nice to meet you, I have heard so many things about you."

"Really?" Yelena asked

"No, Natasha is a really private person she only shared your names with us an hour before you came." Skye replied with a grin as she shook their hands but it was clear they were all assessing each other.

"Skye can you show Yelena and Alexie to their rooms they will be staying in, I will take Melina to the lab. Meet us there afterwards."

"Copy that." Skye nodded before leading Yelena and Alexie down the hall.

"So do you have powers too?" Yelena asked falling in step with her, this also seemed to get Alexie's attention.

"Yes." Skye replied

"Is that all we get?" Yelena asked

"I manipulate vibrations." Skye replied after a small hesitation she still was not used to talking about her powers. She had to smile though at seeing their reactions a cross between shock, caution and awe.

Alex woke up with a fright, she had dreamed of Marcel again, only this time he was smiling at her welcoming her home.

"Easy Al…it was just a nightmare." Skye stated holding one hand out cautiously as Alex swung out at her with her hand after sensing her in her room.

"Skye what the hell? You know better then to wake me." Alex stated "Unless we're being attacked?"

"We're not under attack, everything is fine. You've been asleep for 6 hours. You don't normally sleep this long." Skye stated Alex could see the worry in her eyes. "I am fine, I will be out soon." Alex stated although she was still haunted by her dream. She watched as Skye left her room she remained seated on her bed for a few minutes before moving. His face kept flashing in her mind, she felt agitated. Coming out of the room she saw the others lounging around, Skye's team were there as well as Natasha's family. Maria was talking with Natasha and May, Yelena was talking with Bobbie, Skye and Hunter as Alexie was trying to talk to Fitz and Trip about his exploits. The room fell into a silence as she came out, but Alex ignored it went over to Skye grabbed her arm and pulled her up.

"What's up?" Skye asked

"You and me are sparring." Alex replied

"Should you be…" Skye began to ask but stopped after receiving a glare from Alex "Ok." Skye stated letting herself be dragged to the gym. Alex shouldn't have been surprised that they had an audience. Yelena, Alexie and Melina wanted to see what they were capable of while the rest wanted to make sure Alex did not over do it. Natasha was half tempted to call it off but she could feel Alex's emotions and something was bothering her.

Skye watched Alex closely, she was hiding her feelings well and if she was not part of the pack let alone her Oztark she might not have seen it but seeming she was Skye knew that this was going to get violent.
