Skye landed on the mat with a crash before jumping to her feet she blocked Alex's next attack as best she could but felt as her fist broke through her defense jerking her head back.

"Stop holding back." Alex stated

"I don't want to hurt you." Skye replied and tensed after receiving a look from Alex. It was one she had seen only a couple of times, it meant she was angry that usually entailed violence on a different level. "Shit." Skye mumbled as their spar turned dangerously fast the others were having difficulty keeping up.

"Shouldn't we stop this?" Jemma asked as Skye was once again thrown onto the mats, but their movements did not stop she was back on her feet throwing her own attacks at Alex the two of them were in their own world in that moment. Alex unleashed her power.

Skye deflected it with her own powers, the two now moved onto fighting with their powers. May was surprised this was the first time she was witnessing Skye actually using her powers in this way and it had the hairs on the back of her neck rising. Right now she did not recognize her rookie. Skye was solely focused on the fight at hand just as Alex was but at the same time the two of them were aware of their surroundings so when Skye sent Alex flying towards Maria she stopped before landing on them. It was like there was an invisible wall protecting them, Melina saw it when Alex actually pushed herself off it with her feet flipping towards Skye only for Skye to roll out of the way. Their movements flowed to their next without a pause. It was during this that the two of them started to glow.

"Dubita di me?" Alex asked after getting Skye into a hold on the ground one that she could not get out of.

"No doubt here." Skye replied after a moment of hesitation as she tried to break her hold.

"I do not do pity Skye." Alex added pulling Skye up to her feet.

"It's not pity…its concern." Skye replied

"Keep it, I do not want, nor do I need it." Alex stated turning her back on her, Alex closed her eyes taking a deep breath her lips twitched as if she was stopping herself from smiling. "That was fun." She added and Skye would have sworn she saw the tension in her shoulders lesson. She stretched her arms before looking around the room, she tilted her head as she looked at Yelena and Alexie she smirked at them. "I would not want to break you." Alex stated noting their looks, they both wanted to test their strengths against her.

"You could not break me." Alexei declared "I could break you." He added but tensed at the look he received from her, he became cautious. "But your leader has told us not to fight." He quickly added looking over at Maria for emphasis.

"It would be sparring, if you wanted we could each throw one punch?" Alex offered Natasha's eyes narrowed she could tell that Alex was baiting him. He rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"One punch? What harm can one punch do?" he asked nodding his head in thought he started liking the sound of it. But Yelena who was standing beside him saw the gleam in Alex's eyes, she looked over to Natasha whose expression was hard as she was looking at Alex who was purposely not looking at her. Alex's smirk returned and it made Yelena shudder, she was a hunter and she had found her prey.

"No." Maria stated after sharing a look with Natasha they both could feel Alex's emotions how she wanted the fight. Alex's smirk faded as she turned to look at them with a blank expression, she held Maria's gaze for a few seconds before sighing. Maria's silent command to relax was working as the need to fight lessoned.

"How are neither of you hurt? I swear I heard bones cracking." Melina asked

"Whatever they did to us…we can't seriously harm each other, sure we can break bones but they heal." Skye informed her seeming Alex had remained silent, Melina was watching Alex though as they spoke. The glow finally leaving their eyes as she stretched out her arms. "Parlerai?" Skye asked Alex making her turn to look at her, once again her expression was blank as she thought over Skye's question if she was going to talk or not.

"Hai le risposte." (You have the answers.) She replied

"Non sono io quella che le interessa." (I am not the one she is interested in). Skye pointed out at this Alex pursed her lips in thought before looking over at Melina.

"You saw our eyes glow? When that happens… our bodies sync up….in a way… this protects us from harming each other." Alex replied this was the first time she explained anything relating to what Marcel's people did to her. "It's complicated."

"Do you know what they did to you?" Melina asked

"Nothing that can help you. We were soldiers, they didn't explain anything, just orders and training. They injected us many times… most of which was unpleasant. There was this one serum, no matter how much pain tolerance we had been taught we always ended up screaming. It sent your blood on fire…at one point I think I actually begged them to kill me to make it stop. We were experiments." Alex stated her tone was emotionless as she recounted her past.

"But you have been fine all these years it has only started this year the nosebleeds, headaches?" Melina asked on this Alex looked at Skye the two of them shared a look with each other.

Skye blurted something out in a language that no one in the room understood, it almost sounded made up. At this Alex tensed up and shook her head once in disagreement. Skye added something else she looked at Alex pleadingly.

"What are you asking her?" Natasha asked when Skye looked like she was going to answer Alex cried out.

"Skye!" the two of them seemed to have a glare off. Until Skye sighed. Alex retorted something else in the made up language it had Skye lowering her head.

"What did you just say?" Hunter demanded seeing the look on Skye's face he took a defensive step forward. At this Alex turned to look at him with a glare it had him freezing, she did not understand the relationship between him and her or even his relationship between him and Bobbie. The three of them acted as soulmates sometimes but other times it was like they could not stand each other. When Bobbie and Skye were together the two of them acted as any other soulmates but once Hunter was added to the mix their dynamic completely changed. Her posture relaxed once again thanks to a silent command from Maria. Alex turned to look at Maria, but did not say anything, Maria knew that she was waiting for instructions.

"I think that is enough for today, take a shower then we will meet you in the lab." Maria stated and just like that the crowd in the gym dispersed.
