The room was in silence for all of five seconds as the others processed what she had said before the others started protesting.

"What?"

"You are not…"

"You cannot possibly think…"

"Are you crazy?" all blended together as they protested her idea, Alex waited patiently until they were finished when they were she was solely focused on Maria as she needed to explain to her over the others. She was the one they needed to convince.

"I take it there is more to your plan then just handing yourself over to them?" Maria asked once there was a moment of silence in their protests.

"When it comes down to strength, she is stronger, but there is more to it than simple strength. There is a way we can come out on top and it is something you probably won't like." Alex replied being careful with her wording.

"So not legal." Fitz stated looking around the room but Alex was not looking at him she was still focused on Maria.

"Did you not just say that they would be expecting this?" Natasha asked

"No, they probably expect us to band together to protect you, you know uniting and all that. That is a pretty common response for you and the Avengers." Alex replied

"We are not that predictable…are we?"

"It's not a bad thing, it has worked this far; you have fought Aliens together. You have some strong allies." Alex states turning to look at Natasha but she could still feel Maria's gaze on her.

"Then should we not do that, she can't be more dangerous than Ultron or Loki?" Jemma comments.

"Yeah, the Avengers will want to help Natasha." Fitz added

"She is more dangerous than I Fitz and if I wanted to I could kill you all in this room without much effort and none of you would be able to stop me, hell I could do it without touching you." Alex pointed out not that she was planning on harming anyone in her pack. This seemed to get Melina's attention.

"How so?" She asked

"I manipulate air what is it that everyone needs to live?" Alex stated not going into anymore details.

"Well that's frightening to think about, and you say she is stronger than you? Could you not just do that to her when you see her?" Yelena asked

"She knows how I fight, what I can do…she has a way." Alex stopped and shared a look with Skye.

"She can stop Alex in her tracks." Skye stated

"How so?" Maria asked

"We don't know, when we were still…they had Alex train with her, she was the closest to her skill level but…"

"She is the one person I have lost to. The only reason as to why I am alive is because we were told not to kill each other, and orders are orders, doesn't mean I was not close to death on a couple occasions." Alex mumbled she shuddered at the memory, she is not looking forward to facing her again.

"So what is your plan?" Maria asked after a lull had fallen over them.

"We need to go to New York, the Avengers facility."

"You just said she expects us to go to them."

"Yes, I know but you're publicly a member so she will go there, they need to be warned because if she can't find you she will draw you out by killing them. So, we should probably warn them."

"You want to use them as bait?" Natasha asked

"No."

"You want to use me as bait?" Natasha asked

"No, I don't want you anywhere near New York, that does not mean you won't be in New York." Alex stated at this Natasha was looking at her. "It would not be the first time you have swapped appearances." Alex pointed out looking between Melina and Natasha.

"No!" Natasha stated immediately

"She won't be in any real danger, I will be next to her. The whole reason she is after you is because of me that means she will be focused on me and won't realize she is not you until it is too late."

"How does this end in you surrendering?" Maria asked

"Theatrics." Alex simple response was not enough for the others in the room.

"Elaborate."

"He is going after an Avenger knowing full well what that means, if any harm came to you the others will stop at nothing to find the person responsible."

"Okay that did not clear anything up."

"You think he is going to be in New York." Skye stated her eyes widening in realization at what her friend was getting at.

"Why would he be in New York?"

"To keep her in line, being this close to many high profile tar…people, he has gone years staying off everybody's radar, he will not want to draw too much attention."

"Going after Natasha won't raise attention?" Yelena asked

"Natasha is a former assassin with many enemies her death though sad will not be…" Alex stopped seeing everyone's expressions so she corrected herself. "It can easily be explained, he could frame one of your enemies."

"How do you know?"

"Because that is what I would do." Alex replied at this Skye's eyes widened as she realized something she blurted out a question in that language none of the others knew grabbing Alex's attention whose expression had turned stone like and gave her a single nod.

"No." Skye stated

"It will work."

"No." Skye stated

"What?" Maria asked seeming the two of them were once again having a glare off.

"She will frame Alex."

"What?" Natasha asked

"That is what Alex is not saying."

"Skye." There was annoyance in Alex's tone as she called out her name.

"No! its too risky. Too many things can go wrong."

"Are you saying she is going to kill me and frame it on Alex?" Natasha asked her own tone was emotionless. "You wanted Melina to take my place?" Natasha asked Yelena had moved closer to Melina in that moment.

"I never said it was going to be Melina in disguise."

"You're going to kill Natasha yourself." Skye figured

"What?" several people shouted out in protest Yelena and Melina had their hands on their weapons.

"Only its not going to be Natasha." Alex stated without so much as hesitating.

"How?"

"It's going to be me." Skye stated she was staring at Alex who gave a small smirk.

"Took you long enough."

"Absolutely not." Jemma stated taking a step closer to Skye but she ignored her and was looking at Alex a small smile pulling at her lips.

"If we pull this off, you're going to be wanted by a lot of people."

"Which is the point."

"Alex." Skye's smile faded as she realized her friend might not be up to staying ahead of everyone.

"Have no doubt Skye."

"How are you so calm about this? You are talking about her killing you?" Yelena asked everyone felt like they were missing something.

"We won't be able to tell the others their reactions need to be authentic. Maria is going to have to move your body quickly, your identity will have to remain secret he will be watching. Natasha is going to have to be in disguise as well."

"You will have to be quick and not let her get too close."

"And Clint is going to have to try and kill me." Alex added it was like the others were not in the room as the two of them discussed their plan with each other.

"You will need to knock down Steve and Bucky they will be the fastest not to mention Pietro and Wanda."

"I don't want the two of them there."

"Why?" Skye asked "They are known Avengers."

"They are unknown, she will kill them especially Wanda too much a risk. If they are not there they won't be in danger. Have them visit the farm." Alex stated not mentioning Laura or the kids.

"You can't think we will let you kill Skye in my place." Natasha stated finally grabbing their attention.

"Would you rather I kill you? Because if that's the case there is no way you can come back."

"Come back? What do you mean?" Jemma asked again Skye and Alex shared a look with each other. Skye gave her a small nod in response and Alex clapped her hands together and slowly separated them creating an air barrier around them so no one outside the room could hear them.

"Skye cannot die…" she was interrupted by the others.
