Project Lupa chronicles The Pack vs The Red Room chapter 13

Natasha watched as Alex flew the quin jet through the sky leading them further away from Maria and the pack. So far she had not spoken she just got to her task.

"Are we not going to talk about it?" Yelena asked

"About what?" Natasha asked

"You faked your death."

"It was necessary."

"You could have told me, I would have kept your secret." Yelena stated "Was it you I spoke to?" Yelena asked remembering how she had a heart to heart with Melina about Natasha's death and how she had wanted to patch things up with her sister.

"I didn't know you felt that way about me." Natasha stated and Yelena punched her lightly on the arm.

"Those feelings…are private." Yelena stated at this Natasha smiled

"If it makes you feel any better I feel the same way." Natasha replied

"I suppose fighting would make me feel better." Yelena comments "These people do they have powers to?" she asked looking at Alex.

"He has a wide arsenal, from Angels to Igors those are the ones you have faced already but the man that is with him is ranked Seer. He is above handlers and second to Marcel." Alex replied

"Does he have some kind of prophecy powers?"

"He is a mystery, I only met him today and that was when he took Marcel away. I think he is the reason I am alive. I do not understand it, but it is a feeling." Alex stated

"Is he human?"

"That is not an easy answer." Alex retorted when she got a look from the others she elaborated "he looks human but he radiates power, there is a harshness coming from him."

"And you want us to fight him?" Yelena asked looking from Alex to Natasha with a questioning look.

"You won't hesitate to kill and that may just save your life." Alex replied

"How are we going to track him?" Natasha asked

"There he is." Alex stated pointing to a blip on the monitor.

"And your plan?"

"I'm going to make him land." Alex stated "Then I am going to kill him." She added

"How are you going to make him land?" Natasha asked sure the quin jet had weapons on board.

"I use these guns, things will get messy." Alex pointed out instead she held out her hand "They are in my domain." Alex added Natasha could now see the jet that was flying ahead of them she watched as Alex slowly closed the distance. When they were close enough that Natasha could see the tail number on the back did one of the jets engines burst into flames. "Take control." Alex stated putting the jet onto auto pilot before getting up Natasha moved to take control of the quin jet as Alex went to the back.

"What is the plan here?" Yelena asked

"As much as I don't care about the housing below us, I do not think SHIELD or the others will approve if the jet crashes into populated areas. So I am going to take it back to the dessert." Alex stated opening the door and jumping out before they could stop her. Natasha watched as Alex flew to the jet and gripped the belly of the plane she then guided it towards open land.

"She's flying a plane from the outside." Yelena comments watching over Natasha's shoulder.

"More like crashing it." Natasha replied

"What is our plan?" Bucky asked reminding them that he was there.

"When we land we will move on the plane." Natasha stated they watched as Alex ended up crashing the jet, explosions could be heard as Natasha landed the quin jet the three assassins made their way to the crash site.

"When did the jet break in half?" Yelena asked they all had guns drawn as they moved closer to the plane.

"Alex." Natasha stated knowing that Alex broke it so she could get in.

"She broke it so easily." Yelena mumbled gun fire could be heard it had all three assassins tensing, but they were not the ones being shot at.

"Bullets cannot hurt me." Alex stated as the others got into view of her they saw her snap a mans neck with one hand while tossing the gun aside with the other.

"How did you get here?" a man asked dressed in a black suit he did not look happy to see her, two men were standing either side of him with guns at the ready.

"Did you think I would let you revive him?" Alex asked back looking over at the body in a chamber behind him the two men appeared to be guarding it.

"It really is such a waste, so much potential…" he sighed "oh well, terminate Angel 112." He stated and Alex tensed it was a kill order, to kill herself.

"Then it is a good thing you no longer have control." Alex replied as the two men moved for her and the man in the suit raised his hand Alex lifted up the men and threw them at the man in the suit she then jumped over the seats towards the capsule that Marcel was in. she put up a wall of air keeping the three men trapped on top of each other as she looked over the capsule. It was some sort of life support as the monitors showed his heart was once again beating. Men from the other half of the plane were now mobilizing and had started shooting at Natasha, Yelena and Bucky.

"We will handle these guys, you go help her." Yelena stated as she and Bucky went on the attack. Natasha made her way over to Alex looking down at the man in the suit and his friends who were swearing and cursing that was until the man in the suit killed his two friends and used their bodies to somehow push back against Alex's powers enough that he managed to get to his feet. He looked from Alex to Natasha then down to Marcel.

"You touch him I kill her." He threatened indicating Natasha

"You touch her your death will be slow and painful. I will drag it out for days." Alex threatened back and Natasha just knew she was not bluffing.

"You and I are a lot alike." He stated

"You and I are nothing alike." Alex retorted

"We are both powerful." He pointed out "We both know how to get what we want." He added, then things seemed to slow down for Natasha he moved reaching out for her, the capsule behind Alex crushed like a tin can making a horrible crunching sound as Alex dived at the man in the suit before he could reach her. Sending him flying back away from Natasha and out through the side of the plane with Alex trailing behind him.

"Alex?" Natasha began as an explosion was heard and the part of the plane she was in jolted it started turning. She needed to get out of there. Using the seats she managed to get off the plane in time to see it roll over and burst into flame. getting to her feet was slightly annoying because of the sand.

"Natasha!" Yelena shouted moving over to her Bucky coming behind dropping the unconscious man on the ground looking up at the plane on fire. Smoke was billowing everywhere and Natasha noted the fuel. She grabbed hold of Yelena and ran Bucky needed no prompting they got away from the fire as the plane exploded as Natasha dived for the ground barely missing some metal that almost took off her head.

"Alex?" Natasha yelled turning back to look at the fire but she could not see her, she tried using her wolf's senses to hear her but she was overwhelmed from the smoke and grinding noise of burning metal and whatever else was on the plane. Her wolf wanted to run, her instincts were telling her to get away from the fire and the smoke. But Alex was somewhere in there fighting she went to take a step forward but was stopped by Yelena.

"Shit." She mumbled gaining Natasha's attention looking down as Yelena rolled over to expose a piece of metal sticking out of her side. Natasha knelt down to take a closer look.

Another explosion had them tensing as Natasha assessed Yelena.

"We need to get you to a doctor." Natasha stated stopping Yelena from pulling it out. Bucky turned on instinct with his gun aimed as Natasha looked over at what he was seeing. Alex was walking towards them through the fire. Even as another explosion happened it did not bother her at all. She came over to them.

"We need to leave." Alex stated knowing that fire services would be here soon.

"To the jet." Natasha agreed as Alex looked down at Yelena and saw her injury.

"She won't make it." Alex pointed out, Natasha knew this, that her injury was critical the only thing at this moment that was keeping her alive was the metal still in place but if that moved…

"I'm going to save her." Natasha stated, she had failed her all those years ago not again.

"Then I will take her, I am faster then a jet when I want to be." Alex replied and Natasha believed her but she has been pushing herself a lot today, would she be up to it?

"Natasha…" Yelena began she had become very pale and sweaty not to mention the trace of blood around her mouth. that settled it she gave Alex a once over before responding.

"Do it." Natasha ordered Alex wasted no time she picked Yelena up with ease and using her powers kept the metal in place. She extended her wings, Bucky gave a small curse of surprise at seeing them as Alex gave Natasha a single nod before flapping her wings once she bolted into the air. "Time to go." She told Bucky heading for the quin jet she knew that Alex would take her to a shield base and she really needed to speak to Maria.
