Saiyans on the Grandline

~Strong World~

The shimmer of sunset was falling upon the land and sea as the alarms began to blare at Marineford, alerting all on the premises that there was trouble. Though two high ranking officers, were already aware of the trouble happening, as Sengoku the Fleet Admiral, and Vice Admiral Monkey D. Garp, looked on in baited breath at the sight in front of them.

"This is madness." Sengoku said.

"A move like this is damn near impossible." Garp stated, a smile on his face with his brow forwarded in anger. "Only one man alive could do it."

Out far ahead of them, the scene they saw left them chilled to the bone, as nearly a dozen of their war ships, were floating in the air. The view before them continued to send fear down their spines, as a shadow fell over the Navy Headquarters. Looking up, the military were shocked, to see a floating island, sailing about like it was a ship at sea. It wasn't actually that far off from the truth as the top of the island, was structured and designed to look like a massive ship, with a golden lion figure head at the bow, and a jolly roger on the main sail and the top of the mast.

"History awakens. A survivor clawing his way out of the days of Gol D. Roger." Sengoku stated.

"Twenty years of silence. Where the hell has he been hiding out all that time?" Garp questioned. "Vanquished by Roger, and then locked up by the Government. The crazy bastard cut off his own legs to break free of the shackles and escape prison. Shiki the Golden Lion."

Up on the flying ship, the man of topic, was standing on his sword legs, raising his hand as he looked out at his handy work.

"Let's give them a taste, of what's to come." Shiki said, a Jamaican accent clear and evident in his voice.

Almost instantly, the ships began to fall from the sky, scaring the Marines, and forcing them to retreat back inland towards the base, while those on the falling ships, were praying with any deity who'd answer their prayers, to save their lives, and spare them of the fate that will befall them, as the crashing ships, began to reign down and create chaos.

"Open fire." One of the marines shouted, as they fired their cannons at the flying ship as it escaped.

"Why couldn't that son of a bitch have just kept quiet and remained a legend?" Garp asked. "What's he been up to? Has he been preparing all this time to take his revenge?" He questioned in fear, as Shiki's laugh echoed throughout the sky.

~The Thousand Sunny~

"Hold on, what's happening in the East Blue?" Luffy questioned.

The entire crew looked to Nami, as the ship's navigator held up a newspaper, and a concerned look on her face.

"The East Blue?" Mina questioned, sitting up on her lawn chair, taking a break from sun bathing.

"Well the headline just says, Danger: Deadly mystery of disintegrating towns." Nami read aloud before handing the newspaper to Luffy. "Sounds serious though. Evidently a bunch of places are being wiped out overnight. It looks like our islands haven't been affected for the time being, but who knows? It might not stay that way for long."

"Nearly half of our crew are originally from the East Blue." Chopper began, wearing a hooded pink bear robe. "Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and Ussop."

"I can see why they're worried." Brook said.

"Hey curly brow. You're from the East Blue as well right?" Kaen asked, looking at Sanji.

"Well yeah, more or less. I was born in the North Blue, but I was raised in the East Blue." The chef stated.

"What is that, a meteorite?" Ussop questioned, as he and Luffy spotted the picture of one of the disasters in the newspaper.

"Guys, look up." Kaen said, as a shadow covered their ship.

Above them, flying through the air was an island ship, sailing through the wind like it was in water.

"An island?" Nami questioned.

"Yeah, but Islands don't fly. Do they?" Luffy gasped.

"Either way, it's impossible to think a Devil Fruit isn't behind how it's floating in air." Kaen stated.

"Papa, it's got a jolly roger." Eri said.

"Another pirate ship then." Zoro said, as they all ran to the bow of the ship, with Franky taking the helm.

"Eri's right, it's got a jolly roger. I see it." Ussop said.

"Nami, you feel that drop in pressure too?" Mina asked.

"I do." Nami said. "Luffy, we've got to change direction, we're heading straight for a cyclone."

"Okay then, but first we've gotta warn those guys about it." Luffy said. "Kaen."

"On it." Kaen said, taking to the air, and flying towards the ship.

Up on the deck, Shiki was just sitting back in his throne, before his crew began to panic and get ready for battle, as Kaen came up to the deck and flew straight for Shiki. The fact that someone else was flying besides himself, was a surprise to Shiki, and it was even more of a shock, when he saw Kaen's tail.

"Are you the Captain of this ship?" Kaen questioned.

"That I am friend. What business do you have with me?" Shiki inquired.

"Your ship flew right over ours, it's just a bit ahead actually. But I'm not here about that. There's a cyclone coming straight ahead of you, turn your ship 90o to port." Kaen said.

"Navigator's." Shiki said, turning to his crew.

"Oh no sir. I don't know what this monkey thinks he's claiming, but we haven't picked up a single trace of a storm like that." One of the navigator's said.

"The pressure's completely stable too. This primate has no clue to what he's talking about."

"One more racist insult about my tail again, and you'll see why the World Government is terrified of Saiyans." Kaen glowered to the navigators.

"They've turned their ship to the left Captain." One of the navigator's said. "I don't think he's bluffing."

Looking to Kaen, Shiki wasn't convinced that he should trust him, but when he looked up, he did see something troubling in the distance.

"Ah, an afro?"

"Those are storm clouds, not hair." The scientist clown said, smacking Shiki upside the head.

"I told you. Our navigator is never wrong. A cyclone is right in front of us." Kaen said. "It's too late for you to move the ship. Leave this to me."

Taking off to the bow of the ship, Kaen landed on the golden lion figure head, and widened his stance, while cupping his hands at his side, before he began to build his attack.

"Ka-me…Ha-me…HAAAAA!" Kaen cried out, unleashing the full force of his attack on the cyclone approaching.

The attack hit the storm dead on, the impact building like an expanding bubble, before the cyclone dispersed, and there were nothing but clear skies ahead once again. Shiki just stared at Kaen, as he relaxed from his stance, and let out a sigh of relief, before the captain turned his attention to his navigators.

Standing on the figure head, Kaen was relieved he could disperse of the trouble, before he was instantly on guard, and turned back to the main deck, as he heard a gunshot echoing from behind, and saw Shiki standing there with a pistol aimed at the fallen navigator.

"Don't ever make a wrong forecast again." Shiki said.

Looking back up towards the bow of the ship, Shiki saw that Kaen was gone, before his gaze turned towards the screen, and saw the Saiyan just as he was approaching his ship. With said Saiyan, Kaen grit his teeth as he just sat on the deck around the head mast, while he caught a bottle tossed to him by Zoro.

"Everything okay pal?" The green haired swordsman asked. "You seem a bit high strung. I know dispersing that storm must have taken a lot out of you, but still."

"It's not that." Kaen said. "I am a bit tired, but there's something more at play."

"What's eating at you then?" Robin inquired.

"The captain isn't to be trusted." Kaen said. "I just witnessed him…"

"Kaen…" Mina said.

Kaen looked up, to see said man coming down from his ship, and landing on the ground in front of him, the man's sword legs piercing the grassy ground. Looking into the sky, Kaen saw that the air born ship had changed directions, and had followed them, but was still behind a bit of ways.

"Did he… did he just fly down here?" Luffy questioned.

"He, did." Ussop said.

"A Devil Fruit, am I right?" Kaen asked.

"Very astute, I ate the Float-Float Fruit, which makes me a floating man. I am Captain Shiki, the Golden Lion. A fellow pirate." He introduced himself. "Now, who was the one who made that accurate forecast?"

"Uh, yeah that was me." Nami said raising her hand.

"So, you're the one, Baby Doll. Well I thank you." Shiki stated.

"Uh, sure. But, don't ever call me that again."

"Hey flying guy. How'd you get that island to float?" Luffy questioned.

"Ah, you mean my ship. As I said I ate the Float-Float Fruit. I can manipulate the gravity of anything I touch, no matter how large or small." Shiki said walking to one of the staircases. "It doesn't work on living beings though, only inanimate objects. Let me demonstrate."

Touching Zoro's dumbbell, Shiki stepped back, and with his hand, used his power to make the weight lifting equipment float as if it were made of helium.

"Kaen, that power." Mina began.

"Yeah, it's similar to Uraraka'." Kaen said as Shiki dropped the dumbbell and Zoro caught it in his hand. "Doesn't seem to have the same side affects though. Guess that's a Devil Fruit for ya."

"Whoa that's so cool." Luffy said. "But you mentioned it doesn't working on living creatures?"

"I'm afraid so. I can use it on myself, but that's about it." Shiki said, sitting down. "I hate to disappoint, but there are sights on my hideout I think you may enjoy. Why don't you join me there, as a sign of my, gratitude?"

"Thanks, but no." Luffy stated, making Shiki raise an eyebrow. "I'd like to, but we're in a big rush to get to the East Blue right now."

"We what?" Nami asked as the rest of the crew, minus the Saiyans and Zoro, gasped.

"Makes sense." Kaen laughed. "It's your home, so it's only natural he'd want to go and save it."

"Whoa, back up. Did you forget about our adventure?" Ussop questioned.

"It's not going anywhere, we can start over anytime." Luffy stated. "Your home town might get destroyed, you don't wanna do anything about that?"

"Well uh… when you put it that way."

"It's decided then." Sanji said, lighting a cigarette.

"Seriously?" Nami asked.

"I guess we should." Ussop said. "An' everyone's okay with this? Well good then."

"Well there you have it. Thanks for the offer though." Luffy said, turning to look at Shiki.

"I like you even more now." Shiki said. "So you guys call the East Blue your home huh? I heard what's happening there, I can only imagine how worried you must be. That settles it, I'll use my float powers, and take you there right away."

"No way, you mean it?" Luffy questioned.

"Man, talk about returning a favor." Sanji said as Kaen went to the tree and sat under it.

Zoro noticed the change in Kaen's behavior, and went to go see what was bugging him.

"Something on your mind pal?" Zoro asked.

"We can't trust this guy." Kaen said. "I saw his navigator fall to the ground as he was holding a pistol, after I heard a gunshot echo through the air."

"Makes sense you'd be skeptical of him then. Should we warn the others?" Zoro asked.

"No, knowing Luffy he'd just go an' confront Shiki about it, and cause a whole mess of trouble." Kaen said as the ship began taking to the skies. "I hate to say it, but all we can do now is wait and see what happens next."

"What do you think Shiki wants from us?" Zoro asked.

"If I had to guess." Kaen said, looking at Nami. "A replacement for his navigator."

As the ship continued to fly through the air, the others changed into more appropriate attire for the journey, before as the Sunny followed the Golden Lion ship. Franky got a bit annoyed when Mina teased him on how he the Sunny's figure head looked like a cartoon, while the other figure head was an actual lion.

"Haha, we're flying." Luffy smirked.

"The wind is nice." Chopper said.

"You guys don't look too concerned about, getting ready for battle." Nami said.

"Indeed, sharpen up you guys, you're not even wearing proper battle attire." Brook said.

"You look more relaxed then anybody." Nami stated angrily.

"Captain, there's something up ahead." Kaen called out, jumping down from the crows nest.

Ahead of them, floating high in the air, were a cluster of islands, several of which had large masses of water around them.

"Whoa, this is blowing my mind." Luffy said as they got closer to the islands.

"Did you make every one of these islands float with your powers?" Ussop asked Shiki.

"Uh-huh, guilty as charged." Shiki said. "Once I make something float, it keeps on floating until I change my mind."

"Wow, that island is huge." Luffy said, looking at the main island.

"We're here." Shiki said turning around and stepping up to Nami. "Home sweet home. Welcome to Merveille! You couldn't find a better home for adventurers such as yourselves. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, once you settle in." He declared, grabbing Nami.

"Hey." Luffy cried out, running after him.

"Let's go." Shiki smirked, using his powers to make the Sunny fall. "Your navigator is mine."

"Aunt Nami." Eri cried out, grabbing onto Shiki and Nami while the others fell with the ship.

"Mina, grab the others." Kaen called out.

"Gum-Gum…"

Before Luffy could finish his move, Shiki made the ship twist around like a top, knocking the Straw Hat Captain and the rest of the crew through the air, and scattering them to the different islands.

"LUFFY." Nami cried out.

"MAMA, PAPA." Eri shouted.

Eri grit her teeth and bit down on Shiki's arm, making him let go of Nami, and letting them both fall.

Before Nami could scream, Eri grabbed her and began to fly herself, trying to head in the direction Kaen went in, but stopped when Shiki was suddenly in front of her.

"Not so fast little girl." Shiki smirked.

~One Weeks Later~

"How long's it been now Aunt Nami?" Eri asked, sitting on a the ledge of the pool as Nami stretched.

"We've been here about a week now Eri." Nami said. "I'm sorry I dragged you into this."

Nami stood at the ledge of the pool, wearing a black and white striped bikini, while Eri was dressed in a tankini top and form fitting swim pants, with a hole in the back for her tail. Eri rubbed the back of her neck, feeling the lingering irritation and sting of the needles that had been used to inject an experimental chemical into her system. Since it was discovered her powers and appearance didn't derive from a Devil Fruit, Shiki had his top scientist, the cloud in a lab coat, conduct daily experiments on the child, which she was used to, but was surprised that these only involved injecting her with something, rather then cutting her open over and over again, like Overhaul had done to her.

"It's not your fault Aunt Nami." Eri said. "I wanted to save you like Papa would have."

"You've got a big heart, just like him." Nami smiled, before bending down, and diving into the pool.

Eri hopped into the water, and swam along the shallow end, giving a little shriek when she felt something zap her, but just relaxed as she continued to practice her swimming lessons Nami had been teaching her, to pass the time.

"Eri." Nami said, poking her head out of the water after doing a few laps. "I think I might have found a way out."

"Right." Eri said as Nami got out of the pool.

Before Nami could say anymore, a loud trumpet began to sound, and the two hostages both knew what that meant, as the silhouettes of Shiki and his two lieutenants could be seen through the curtain that blocked their view of him as they began to perform their dance number.

"Same old song and dance." Eri sighed, before holding her breath and dropping into the water.

"You're starting to look pretty comfortable. Does that mean you've changed your mind, Baby Doll?" Shiki questioned, while his subordinates attempted to grab Eri, only for the little girl to slip from their grasp.

"No!" Nami stated. "Let us go."

"A strong mind, and a hard head." Shiki stated. "No doubt about it. A woman after my dusty old heart."

"Hey, let me go." Eri cried out, as the Clown Scientist managed to catch her, with the pool net, and pulled her in.

"Hey, stop that. Don't you dare touch her." Nami called out to them, only to be ignored as the pink furred gorilla held Eri down, and the Clown Scientist injected her with another formula mixture.

After he was done, the clown scientist and the gorilla went back to stand behind Shiki, annoying him as every step the clown scientist took, there came a fart sound with it.

"Are those really the only pair of shoes that you own? Honestly, Dr. Indigo." Shiki questioned angrily, making Dr. Indigo stop, before he began making some weird poses and some strange dance moves. "What are you trying to tell me?"

"I just remembered I wanted to show you something." Dr. Indigo said, as Eri ran over to Nami, hugging her as the navigator returned the hug, rubbing her back to comfort her.

"You know how to talk?" Shiki questioned, making the gorilla clap his hands, before he looked at the animal. "Is that my mother?"

"Come on, he's obviously a gorilla." Dr. Indigo said, smacking Shiki upside the head.

"He's a big dummy." Eri sniffed.

"I know Eri. I know." Nami said as the trio took on a weird pose. "An' you three idiots, don't look at me."

"You're so cool, you make ice insecure Baby Doll." Shiki smirked before he began to laugh, as Dr. Indigo left for a moment, before quickly returning, carrying a cage.

"Captain Shiki. We've had another evolutionary break through. A new species." Dr. Indigo said putting the cage down.

Nami and Eri looked at the cage, seeing a golden feathered horse sized bird inside.

"Take a look at this fella."

"Eh, a guitar?"

"Are you blind, it's a bird." Dr. Indigo said, smacking Shiki across the eyes.

Shortly after the trio performed another pose in front of Nami and Eri, before the cage door swung open, and the bird came out and bit down on Shiki's head, discharging a massive surge of electricity that electrocuted all three of them.

"Stupid guitar." Shiki shouted, throwing the bird to the ground.

"Hey, lay off." Nami called out.

"Leave him alone." Eri called out, running up to the bird and hugging it defensively.

"So, that was the evolution?" Shiki questioned.

"Correct…" Indigo said, sounding like he was in a lot of pain. "He's evolved to discharge bursts of electricity."

"Evolved, what do you mean?" Nami asked stepping up to stand in front of Eri and the bird.

"What's that? You want to know? Well, you'd find out as soon as you joined my crew, so I guess I might as well tell you now." Shiki said. "Throughout the history of this island, the native animals have evolved in a strange rapid manner. Untouched by the outside world, this development is all thanks to a plant called, IQ. It manipulates the animal's physical growth, to not only adapt to the surroundings, but to aggressively overcome them. Once we realized its effect, I harvested every last IQ plant on the entire island."

"An' after 20 years of experimentation, we've got just what we want. The synthesized distillation of the IQ plant's potent power. A new drug, S-IQ." Dr. Indigo said, showing a vial of the liquid drug, and a tube of the pills. "With a single injection, the animals evolve into perfect fighting machines, their astounding strength, only matched by the boundless aggression. An' the more we give them, the more violent they get. You've never seen such savage animals."

"But that's horrifying." Nami stated. "Why would you want to do that?"

"You will understand our motives and goals soon enough." Shiki stated. "As long as you join my crew, that is."

"Are you deaf? I already told you, I'd never…"

"You will." Shiki stated. "Not only will you join my crew, you'll grovel for your chance to do it. You'll get down on your hands and knees, and beg. An' once we get that sad scene out of the way, I'll tell you everything you ever wanted to hear. Just remember, I'm always willing to grant a favor for one of my own crew." He laughed as the gorilla pounded his chest.

"Uh, were you pounding your chest to impress the older girl?" Dr. Indio questioned.

The gorilla simply answered, though his words were lost to most humans, Dr. Indigo understood him just fine.

"They're having a serious conversation, you dirty ape." Dr. Indigo stated.

"Eh? I just thought you were my grandma for a second there." Shiki said, turning back to look at the gorilla.

"Does everyone in your stinking family look like a gorilla, or what?" Dr. Indigo questioned, smacking Shiki's face, before they all posed again.

Nami wasn't impressed.

"Oh, by the way." Dr. Indigo said. "The drug I've been injecting your little friend with, is a new form of S-IQ I've been working on, that could enhance more then the animals aggression. I designed it to give the animals an elemental connection to one of the natural elements. So far I haven't seen any results, which is why I'm giving a modified version to her every day."

"Eri's gone through enough experimentation creep. Leave her alone." Nami said.

"The choice is yours Baby Doll." Shiki stated, as they left.

Eri just glared at them, her eyes burning with anger, as sparks of blue electricity danced across her fingertips.

~Elsewhere~

"Doing alright Kaen?" Luffy questioned, marching through the thick jungle foliage with Kaen at his side, his arm in a sling.

"Could be better to be honest Captain." Kaen groaned. "My arm could be feeling like it isn't going through a kiln."

"Hang tight. Once we find Chopper, he'll be able to fix up that compound fracture in no time." Luffy stated. "Why didn't you bring any Senzu Beans with you?"

"Mina's the one who keeps them on her. Her and Chopper both." Kaen stated as they reached the ledge of the island they were on. "Besides, even if I did have some on me, they're only for life or death emergencies."

"Think you've got enough energy to fly to the next island?" Luffy questioned. "We gotta get moving if we're gonna find them."

Running towards the ledge, with his arm wrapped around Kaen, the Straw Hat Captain jumped, with Kaen crying out in shock while he cried out in excitement.

"Now, Gum-Gum: Balloon." Luffy called out as his body inflated with air, cushioning his and Kaen's landing to barely a thud. "Man, that was intense."

"Luffy, we'd better start running." Kaen said, looking at something that was behind them.

"What, why?"

"Look."

Luffy turned around, and gasped, before he and Kaen both got up, and they went running for the hills, with the creature behind them, giving chase.

"What is that thing?" Luffy questioned.

"Some kind of weird flat alligator." Kaen stated.

"Well whatever it is, it's weird and it's creepy."

"Hang on."

Kaen grabbed Luffy with his good arm, and with all the energy he could muster, he jumped into the air, and flew towards a tree branch far out of the alligator's reach. Looking back as they landed, Kaen realized they got out of there just in time, as the alligator was flattened even more by a tentacle. Following the tentacle to its source, Kaen saw that it came form a giant octopus that not even he had expected to see that large, with a scar over its left eye. The octopus grabbed the alligator and began using its other tentacles to mercilessly beat the creature in its grasp, to death.

"Shit." Kaen groaned, the octopus set its sights on them, and gave chase.

Jumping from tree to tree, Kaen and Luffy made their way through the jungle thicket, before entering a large clearing of ruins.

"Did we lose it?" Luffy questioned.

His answer came in the form of the octopus pushing down the trees around it, with a its face etched with extreme anger.

"Not quite." Kaen said as they began running.

"Why can't you just fight that thing off?" Luffy asked.

"Are you kidding me? It's taking all I have just to use my Ki to keep my arm from getting a blood infection." Kaen stated.

Further ahead, in the direction they were running, Kaen and Luffy skid to a stop as a giant praying mantis, with razor sharp forelegs.

"That is a big bug." Luffy said, as he and Kaen ducked under the mantis.

The giant bug went right past them, and straight for the octopus that was chasing them. As the octopus tried to punch it, the mantis was too fast and sliced several tentacles to pieces. When the octopus realized it was in danger of death, it began to flee, but the mantis wasn't willing to let it get away so easily and gave chase, slamming its body into the octopus and sending it into a stone structure of ruins, killing it from the impact.

Landing on the statue, the mantis issued its dominance over the cephalopod before it was grabbed by a large pair of bear like claws, and was slammed through the inactive fountain before it tumbled away across the ground. Crying out in pain, the mantis was unable to defend itself as the bear grabbed its forelegs, and pulled it in for a massive bear hug, crushing its exoskeleton, before performing a perfect suplex on the inhuman sized insect, rendering it unconscious as the bear got up.

"Is it just me, or is this island filled with animals vying for dominance?" Kaen asked.

"It's not just you. I get that feeling to." Luffy stated. "They just keep on coming. This has gotta be the meanest island I've ever been on."

"Look out, the bear spotted us." Kaen said as he and Luffy got to their feet.

"You want to fight?" Luffy questioned before he and the bear began running at one another. "How about a Gum-Gum: PISTOL." He cried out.

The bear saw the attack coming however, and moved out of the way to avoid being hit by it, before he smacked Luffy away.

"Luffy." Kaen called out, before turning back to the bear, and jumping out of the way. "Damn it all."

"Kaen, move." Luffy called to him. "Third Gear: Bone Balloon. Gum-Gum: Giant Pistol."

Kaen instantly jumped out of the way, evading Luffy's massive attack, right before it struck the bear, and sent the beast flying through the open area, smashing through one of the statues of the ruins, and flew through the jungle foliage. Kaen looked to Luffy, before he saw him flying away like a crazy balloon losing its air, and landed on the giant octopus.

"You doing okay Luffy?" Kaen questioned running to where his Captain was.

"I'm okay. Cutting it kinda close there." The shrunken Luffy said. "Man, I love this technique, but the whole shrinking part kinda sucks."

"Well, just keep training your body to withstand it, and I'm sure that side effect will go away." Kaen said.

"You're probably right." Luffy said, before noticing what he was standing on. "I wonder if we can cook this up."

"Probably." Kaen smirked. "I mean, it is the main ingredient for takoyaki, after all. Right now, I just hope the others are doing okay."

~Mina, Robin, Franky, Brook~

"This is so tragic." Mina said, as they all walked along the path. "This entire civilization is underwater, and it doesn't even look ancient."

"Probably a side effect from what Shiki did." Robin said.

"That was a strange noise, what do you think it was?" Brook questioned.

"I couldn't care less. We got other things to worry about." Franky said, replacing his empty cola bottles with fresh ones Mina provided for him.

"Don't just ignore stuff in a place we don't know Franky." Mina said, putting the empty bottles in her Duplication Void while his pompadour was upright again. "We're on unknown territory, so we don't have the luxury of ignoring possible threats."

"She's right you know. For example…" Brook began. "Those things that are coming straight for us." He stated, his voice changed to a panicked tone.

"What the? It's like an army of ants." Franky said.

"Brook look out." Mina called to him. But Brook was fine, as the ants just ran right past him, and straight for them. "Not good."

"Guess we're the ones they want." Franky said. "Weapons…"

Before Franky could use his weapons, the platform they stood on began to shake, and for good reason as a green scaled sea creature made itself known, and jumped at the group, to devour them, only to miss as they ran off. Brook screamed in terror as it began to circle back around. Jumping at them again, Mina remembered the ants, and turned to fight them, only to be shocked when the ants jumped over them, and onto the sea creature, devouring its flesh in seconds before the bare skeleton landed back in the water, with the ants landing on the other side of the pathway.

"Hey, it's like me now." Brook said, heading for his group. "You're all not injured, are you?"

"Well I think we just figured out why the ants passed you and came barreling towards us." Mina stated.

"Why?" Brook asked.

"They're hungry, they want meat, not dried up old bones." Franky stated.

"Oh, so I'm not good enough for you huh?" Brook questioned, pulling out his sword and running towards the ants.

With Brook running through the swarm, Franky, Robin, and Mina just relaxed and calmly walked forward. When the skeleton reached the other end of the swarm, he simply walked as well, and right as the ants began jumping at the group, he began his finishing move.

"Three verse humming: Arrow Notch Slash." He stated, sheathing his blade, and paralyzing the ants.

"Seriously Brook, you gotta teach me how to do that move." Mina smirked as the three of them met up with him.

"Certainly, I'd be more then happy to teach you. If you showed me your panties."

"Hell no." Mina stated, kicking Brook in the side of the head, knocking him down before he got right back up again.

"I cannot deny the fact that I am nothing but bones. But I am still sensitive about my appearance." Brook said. "So… do these pants make my butt look fat?"

"I've never seen animals or insects evolve like this before." Robin said as they continued on, completely ignoring Brook's question. "A world with no concern for wisdom or reason. All that matters here, is brute strength."

"Yeah, survival of the fittest digesting the rest." Franky scoffed.

"Kaen would fit in here nicely if given the option." Mina said.

~Sanji, Ussop~

"Nami Swan." Sanji cried out.

"Hey, keep your voice down will you? We'll be spotted." Ussop told him, before a giant horned beetle found them. "AAAHHH a giant bug." He shouted as they ran.

"Where are you, Robin?" Sanji shouted, after they defeated the bug.

"I just told you to stop shouting, didn't I?" Ussop questioned, before a giant bird came into view. "AH, a bird."

"Mina." Sanji called out after they took down the bird.

"We really need to come up with a better plan." Ussop said as they ran from a green giraffe with a neck tied in a knot.

"Nami."

"What is wrong with you, can't you shut up?" Ussop questioned as they ran from a giant man eating caterpillar.

The two of them continued to run, before they jumped on hanging vines, evading the caterpillar, and allowing it to fall to the island bellow.

"Doesn't get much closer then that, does it?" Sanji questioned.

"Up, look up, look up." Ussop whispered pointing above them.

Sanji looked up, and his eyes widened when he saw he was hanging onto a giant two tailed, blue furred tiger's whisker. Looking ahead at the next vine in fear, Sanji quickly jumped to it, and began swinging to the land they'd just jumped from, and tossing Ussop on the ground, before he flung himself into the air.

"Help, Sanji." Ussop cried out as the giant jungle cat circled him.

"Concasser!" Sanji called out, hitting the tiger with a spinning axe kick right on the head. "Nighty night kitty." He said, before sending the tiger's head into the ground.

"Nicely done." Ussop said.

Before either of them could relax, there was an echoing sound, like something had been shot at them, and the dust build up from Sanji's attack was broken down the middle.

"What was that?" Ussop questioned as they looked at the ground, to see a large and deep hole.

"What are we dealing with this time?" Sanji questioned.

Up in the sakura tree, there were a bunch of small creatures with pull like horns, and faces, covered in red and orange fur. One of them shot out of the tree, making another resounding echoing sound, before it pierced the ground, with Sanji barely dodging as he jumped out of the way. After that, the rest of the creatures began to fire themselves at Sanji and Ussop, and with the damage done by Sanji's attack, the part of the island they were on, began to crumble.

"What are these things?" Sanji questioned, as he and Ussop ran for cover behind the tree.

"They're gonna destroy the whole island." Ussop exclaimed, before they began to fall.

With a resounding splash, the two of them landed in the water on the island bellow.

~Zoro, Chopper~

The winds were frigged and the snow stung the skin of anyone who remained within the area too long. Currently Chopper and Zoro were riding on the back of a woolly mammoth.

"It's freezing." Zoro said.

"I know. We've been out here for days, but we still haven't made it out." Chopper said. "Hold on, look up ahead."

Zoro looked over to where Chopper was pointing, and saw two of the island creatures, one of them either dead or unconscious, the other one heading for an unconscious little girl.

"Meet up with me when you can." Zoro said, jumping off the mammoth, and running for the girl to save her, equipping his three blades as he went towards her. "Three Sword style: Oni Giri." He called out, slicing at the monstrous sized beast, cutting it down. With the beast down, Zoro removed his third blade from his mouth, and sheathed all three.

"Is she alright?" Chopper asked, as the mammoth caught up to him. "Thank goodness we made it in time."

"She's ice cold. Hey Chopper, why don't you let her wear your fur?" Zoro suggested.

"Yeah, good idea, she does look cold." Chopper said, moving to remove his shirt, before he stopped. "I'm not a coat."

As a compromise, Zoro and Chopper hopped back on the mammoth, with the girl sitting in the empty space of Zoro's legs, and Zoro doing the same of Chopper. It was about a half hour of travel before the girl woke up.

"So you're awake." Zoro said, noticing the girl waking up.

"Uh, I think so." The girl said.

"What are you doing out by your self in a dangerous place like this?"

"Huh? Well… I was uh…"

Zoro didn't question what she was doing, as he noticed the flower the girl was holding.

"It doesn't matter. Let's just stay focused on getting out of the cold." Zoro said. "We've been lost in this snow for days now, and I'm ready to get out of it."

"How'd you do that? It only takes half a day to cross the winter zone." The girl said.

"What?" Chopper questioned.

"You just head that way." She stated, pointing in the direction they needed to go.

Traveling in the direction the girl pointed out, Zoro was embarrassed to see that the girl was right and they were closer to a warmer mountain zone then they thought.

"You see?" She smiled.

"You've been leading us in the opposite direction for three days now Zoro." Chopper said, sounding more then a bit annoyed.

"That… wasn't there before." Zoro tried to justify.

"That's my village just down there, it's right by the river." The girl smiled. "By the way, thank you for rescuing me, my name's Xiao."

"I'm Zoro."

"An' I'm Tony-Tony Chopper."

"A-a talking gorilla." Xiao gasped before she passed out again.

~Nami & Eri~

Nami stood at the window, looking out at the winter wonderland that comprised the landscape, as well as the ship at the edge of the island, and the trees surrounding the building structure.

"Eri, you all set?" Nami asked.

"Ready." Eri said, her Duplication Pack around her waist.

"Good." Nami said, grabbing her bag and slinging it over her shoulders, before putting her hand on the bird's bill, and looking over to see the Transponder Security Snail was preoccupied with feeding time. "Let's go for some resistance training in the pool."

Dipping into the pool, with Eri and the bird following, the two girls made their way to the deeper end of the pool, before diving down, after they each took a deep breath.

~Shiki~

"Right on schedule, all the Captains have arrived in Port, sir." One of Shiki's subordinates said.

"Excellent. We'll depart shortly after the General Assembly." Shiki smirked, watching as all the Pirate Captains and their crews began entering the island through the general entrance.

"You mean, tonight's the night?" The subordinate questioned.

"Gather up the men, and return them to the village."

"What, you're really gonna set them free?"

"Well I am a man of my word. But just one, for each family. You can't know true despair, unless you've experienced hope first." Shiki stated. "Their anguish will be so much sweeter when I pluck them from the heights of joy, and drop them into a pit of darkness." He said, before he began to laugh.

Shiki's laughter however, was interrupted as the sound of farts in tandem with footsteps echoed through the room, as Dr. Indigo came running towards them, with some troubling news, as he began moving in motions that made it look like he was trying to communicate.

"Captain Shiki." Dr. Indigo said, realizing he wasn't getting through to him.

"Whoa, you can talk?" Everyone in the room, even Shiki, gasped in shock.

"I've got some terrible news."

"Then why are you smiling?" Shiki questioned.

"I'm afraid the girls escaped somehow." Dr. Indigo said.

"They what?" Shiki questioned.

"She must have realized, that the pool to the palace, leads directly to the outside." Dr. Indigo said.

"That was careless. How could you let a rare talent like her escape? Send out a search party right now, I want her found."

"But that's not all Captain. I actually have some rather good news as well."

"What do you mean?" Shiki questioned.

"My experiments with the child have been a success. I found multiple electrical scorch marks on the ground, by the pool, in the shape and size of a childs hand, and they look like they're in different stages of weathering. Meaning the first serum I gave her must have been a success, and no other serums were needed." Dr. Indigo said. "The freshest one I would have to say, looks as though it happened around the time she and the navigator girl escaped with the new species of peacock that I showed you this morning."

"Send out the search team to find them both. Those two are both now precious assets to our cause. If the child's power is anything like her fathers, we cannot let her go." Shiki stated.

~Nami & Eri~

Vision was blurry, and sound was muffled as the two escapees made their way through the ventilation tunnel. Nami was on the peacock's back, while Eri was using her Ki to use her flying abilities to keep pace, before they reached the end of the tunnel and broke through the water on the underside of the island, finally getting a breath of fresh air.

"We're heading for another body of water." Eri cried out holding onto one of the peacock's wings.

Diving down into the body of water in the mountain, Nami and Eri looked to one another, before looking around as they were surrounded by several monstrously evolved animals. Keeping her breath in, Eri pushed herself to her limits, and without subconsciously knowing it, royal blue electricity surrounded her body.

Flipping forward in the water, Eri hit a turtle looking creature on the top of the head, while discharging a burst of electricity that ran through its body. Soaring higher through the water, Eri dove backwards and planted both her feet on a trilobite like monster with an impact that caused the water to ripple around her, before the creature began to float.

Pushing off the trilobite, Eri swam straight for the eel looking creature and with the strength enhancer of her Quirk, hit it with an upward kick on the underside of its jaw, before spinning around and hitting it with a roundhouse kick, tearing its jaw off. Flying through the water, Eri went for the last creature that was there. Though she seemed a bit more sluggish, but she felt a tingle of power all around her, before she was hit with golden electricity and smiled as she was energized, when she realized the bird was giving her power. Flying faster then she had been before, Eri built up enough electricity in her arms, before clasping her hands together and slammed them down on the monstrous water snake's head, frying it from the inside, and turning its brain to mush.

Turning around, Eri flew back to where Nami and the bird were, and they all breached the water with Nami still holding onto the peacock's back, as they landed on the ground.

"That was incredible Eri. I had no idea you could do that." Nami said.

"I didn't either." Eri said. "Honestly I don't think that's part of my Quirk."

"Right, Dr. Indigo's experiments he's been conducting on you." Nami realized.

"That could be it." Eri said. "He did say he'd been using that altered S-IQ drug to try and make creatures with elemental connections."

"We can worry about that later. Are you feeling any pain anywhere?" Nami asked.

"Not really. I mean my tail kinda hurts, but that's a pretty normal thing that happens anytime after I swim, but this feeling is different." Eri said, while the peacock rubbed its head against hers.

"Well, if you're feeling okay, then let's try and figure out where we are." Nami said.

With Eri leading the way, and Nami on the peacock's back, the three flew to the top rim of the water volcano, and began looking around, trying to see which island they'd landed on.

"Look, I can see the Sunny." Eri said, pointing out where it was.

Nami looked to where Eri's sights were, and smiled when she spotted the ship as well.

"Let's get going." Nami cheered, as she got off the peacock's back, and they both began to run.

Their advancement towards the ship however, was stopped when the sound of a large explosion echoed through the air, and a large cloud of dust burst from the treeline, forcing them to a halt.

"Damn it Luffy, why did you have to go a provoke these things?" Kaen's voice echoed from the ground bellow, as he and Luffy both made their way out of the foliage, followed by three monstrous sized scorpions, and a golden maned lion.

"I thought they were a bunch of fallen trees, and rocks." Luffy stated.

"Why would trees and rocks intentionally be in the same place to look like giant scorpions and a lion the size of a battle ship?" Kaen shouted, as he fired off a Ki blast, buying them time to choose which way they were going to go, before he noticed their ship. "The Sunny."

"PAPA." Eri cried out, calling to him.

Kaen's ears perked up hearing that voice, and both men turned around to see Eri and Nami, big smiles spreading across their faces.

"Eri." Kaen cheered.

"Nami." Luffy called out, just as happy as they ran for them.

"Eri, you got anything to help Papa's arm?" Kaen questioned.

Eri reached into her Duplication Pack, and pulled out a bag of Senzu Beans.

"Here Papa." She called out, throwing one at him.

Smiling as he saw the bean, Kaen jumped up and chomped down on it. Feeling energized and all healed up, Kaen threw his sling off, and quickly turned back to look at the monsters coming at him.

"One-for-All: 50%." He said, charging up his body with his Quirk. "Detroit: SMASH."

"Go Papa." Eri cheered.

Kaen lunged at each of the monsters, and hit them each with a lethal attack that stopped them in their tracks.

"There, this should be enough food to last Luffy and I till dinner." Kaen said.

"Papa." Eri cheered, jumping into his arms and crying tears of joy. "I was so scared I wasn't gonna see you again Papa."

"It's okay Kitten, I'm here." Kaen smiled, holding her tight in a hug. "There's no need to worry. I am here."

"Kaen, what was that?" Nami asked. "I thought those creatures would have been a piece of cake for you."

"Oh, well when we initially split up, I ended up with a compound fracture on my arm, so I needed to focus all my Ki to the wound to keep it from getting infected, which could have lead to a blood infection." Kaen explained. "But, I'm all better now, thanks to the Senzu Bean Eri gave me."

"I'm happy to help Papa." Eri smiled.

"So where have you two been?" Luffy asked.

"It's a long story." Nami said. "An' there are a few things you should know Kaen. Specifically, about what's happened with Eri."

~Later~

Kaen sat on the log sized bone, looking at the fire as he, Luffy, and Eri were eating the scorpion and lion meat their attackers provided, with Eri now dressed in a hooded tankini top, and a pair of leggings under jean shorts, and a pair of fingerless sleeve gloves on her arms. But though he was filling his stomach, Kaen was more focused on something else.

"So you're saying Eri now has powers over lightning?" Kaen asked.

"Possibly any form of electricity too." Nami called back from a rock she was changing behind.

"An' it's all thanks to this, Dr. Indigo guy?" Luffy asked.

"It is." Nami stated, coming back around and hanging her soaked bikini on the rope they set up as a clothes line, next to her other soaked clothes, and Eri's swimsuit. "He'd been injecting her with several modified versions of a serum used on the animals, for several days."

"It's okay Papa." Eri said, seeing how angered Kaen was. "I'm fine. I was strong, and I just kept telling myself, I'm a Saiyan, I don't get scared."

Kaen just looked at Eri, before chuckling as a smile came to his face.

"As fun as that would be, it's not exactly true Kitten." Kaen said. "Even a Saiyan, is allowed to be scared from time to time."

"So where's everyone else?" Nami inquired.

"I don't know." Luffy said.

"You and Eri have been the only people we've seen since Shiki's ambush on us." Kaen said. "This place is pretty big, and for some reason the soil is messing with my Ki sensing."

"You think it's because the power of Shiki's Devil Fruit, runs through all the islands?" Nami asked.

"It's possible. Moria's powers were able to mess with my Ki sensing as well. This feels sorta similar." Kaen said. "But still, I was able to sense Shiki's Ki before we came here."

"Then, perhaps it's because of the islands themselves?" Nami suggested. "I mean think about it, if it feels similar, but you're still able to feel Shiki's Ki, then it has to due with the large proportions of the islands being affected by his Devil Fruit powers."

"Such large quantities of his power clustered so closely together would probably mimic the effects of Moria's Shadow-Shadow Fruit on my Ki sensing." Kaen said in contemplation.

"In any case, just relax for now. Eat up, this scorpion's great, right Billy?" Luffy asked, to which the peacock agreed happily.

"No thank you." Nami said, before realizing something. "Who is Billy?"

"This guy, 'cause his bill's electric." Luffy smirked, pulling on Billy's cheek and getting electrocuted by the action, to which it had no effect. "See?"

"Oh yeah, I guess electricity doesn't affect a guy made out of rubber." Nami said.

"Papa, why is Uncle Luffy okay and not burnt to a crisp like Shiki was?" Eri asked.

"To put it simply, rubber is the natural enemy of electricity. Rubber nullifies and even blocks electricity. That's why Aunt Athena wore rubber gloves whenever she handled anything electric." Kaen said.

"So here's a question for you Luffy. Should we just stay put, now that we've found the Sunny?" Nami inquired. "It might be easier to wait for everyone to come to us."

"You should know the answer to that one Nami." Kaen chuckled.

"No way that's boring." Luffy stated.

"Besides, given how big these floating islands are, it could take months for them to find their way back to us." Kaen stated.

"I guess you have a point. We don't have that many rations on the Sunny, and with the way you three eat we'd be out of food in a week at best." Nami said.

"Saiyan appetites are no joke, especially if we use up a good amount of our Ki." Kaen stated. "An' given the fight Eri had in the water volcano, I'm not surprised she's this hungry. But I am proud of her for being able to handle those four on her own."

"Thanks Papa, but I had a bit of help from Billy who gave me a jumpstart." Eri said. "I'm gonna go to the Sunny and grab some snacks for the road before we head off. Meat's good, but it's not a convenient travel food."

Kaen smiled as Eri turned her back to him and began heading for the ship. He was a little shocked however, when he looked at her ears and tail, noticing that some of the fur on them was turning blue.

'That can't be a good sign.' Kaen thought.

~Mina's Group~

The sun was blazing hot as the sound of a motorbike was revving through the open desert with the source being a crustacean bike with green and yellow flames on its pincers and body, and a skull strapped to its front. Robin and Brook were riding the bike on the back end, while Franky sat in the front seat driving it, while at the same time, Mina was flying next to it, keeping pace as she preferred this mode of transportation.

"Well I must say, I really like this craw fish bike." Brook said, speaking louder over the roar of the revving bike.

"Wow. Another one of my custom designs to add to the list." Franky smirked. "I'm calling it, the Crawly Davidson."

"Perfect." Brook said, before he began repeating the name in song form before he and Robin spotted something. "Hey, it looks like there's something up ahead."

"Is that a town?" Franky questioned.

"I think so." Robin stated.

"Most likely it's Shiki's base for all his crewmates, and any visiting pirates who want to join up with him." Mina stated before a shadow covered her. "Hey, watch it." She cried out, flying out of the way as the bike jumped back.

"I bit my tongue. Not that I have one." Brook said, hanging from the back of the bike.

"Motorcycles don't jump backwards stupid." Franky said, before looking up and noticing Mina wasn't looking too good. "You okay, what's wrong with you?"

"Ugh, it stinks so bad. It smells like a rotting carcass." Mina gagged plopping on the ground. "I think I know why he jumped back. It's burning the inside of my nose."

"I don't smell anything." Franky said.

"I'm a Saiyan you moron. I have senses equivalent to that of an animals." Mina said angrily.

"It probably has something to do with those trees surrounding the town." Robin said. "It looks like they form one giant ring."

"Either way, the bike isn't listening to me, and I think Mina made it clear why. Guess we'll have to walk." Franky sighed. "Mina will have to plug her nose as we go through to the town."

~Kaen's Group~

"Oh man, that is rank. Rotten to the core." Kaen gagged as he flew back from the tree line, with Eri in his arms, Billy following his lead.

"Papa, I don't feel so good." Eri said, her face looking green.

"No, no, no. Hang on Eri." Kaen said, flying further away from the trees and putting Eri down for her to run behind a normal tree, and puke her guts. "Well that was unpleasant."

"What happened?" Luffy asked, as Billy landed.

"Those trees act as some sort of barrier for the town I spotted. It's an unpleasant odor that harms animals. An' I'm willing to bet if it harms animals, it's lethal to humans if too much is breathed in." Kaen said, scratching Billy under the chin. "Eri and I are Saiyans, which means our senses are heightened to a degree that's equivalent to an animals."

"Those are the same types of trees Shiki has surrounding his palace. An' given what you just said, it would make sense that the smell would be repulsive to the animals on the island." Nami said.

"Oh, that's why you reacted to them like that, huh Billy?" Luffy asked, to which Billy nodded.

"Well, there is one thing Eri and I could do. Billy could do it to." Kaen sighed. "It won't be pleasant, but it will be necessary if we wanna make it to that village."

Coming back around for a second attempt, Kaen, Eri, and Billy all had their noses stuffed to keep the smell out. But it was barely working, as Kaen and Eri still looked like they were gonna barf. Once they cleared the trees, they made their way to the village, and removed their nose plugs, while Billy kept his in.

"It still kinda stinks, but it's not so bad now that we're past the trees." Kaen said.

"Papa, I'm hungry again." Eri said.

"I'd imagine you are after throwing up like you did." Kaen chuckled. "Let's land and then you can munch on your snacks."

"Hopefully we'll find everyone in that village." Luffy said, Nami sitting on his shoulders, while he sat on Billy's back.

"Found them." Kaen said, spotting some of the crew. "Most of them anyway. It looks like Mina, Robin, Franky, and Brook are still out there."

"Take us down Billy." Luffy cheered.

As they made their way into the village, Kaen wasn't surprised to see the locals back up as they made their landing, they were more shocked about Kaen and Eri flying, then they were about the animal that made it past their barricade.

"Hey everyone. You all doing okay?" Kaen questioned, grabbing their attention, as he put Eri down. He saw that he was actually interrupting one of Sanji and Zoro's quarrels.

"I'm so happy you're okay Nami." Sanji said, leaving the fight and running to Billy. "I've been so worried about you this past week, that I couldn't even sleep."

"That is not healthy." Kaen said as Sanji fell to the ground, snoring coming from him. "I pity his perverted thought process."

"No kidding. An' he kept us up all night to." Ussop said.

"Ah. We're still missing Robin and Mina." Sanji said, springing awake.

"They're probably avoiding your loud mouth." Zoro said.

"What?" Sanji questioned in anger.

"Not to mention, Mina is married." Ussop stated.

"To me." Kaen punctuated, showing his ring.

"Man it's so great to see all your happy faces again." Luffy smiled, still sitting on Billy's back.

The door behind them opened up, revealing Xiao as she came out to see what all the noise was.

"Mom, there's a giant bird outside." Xiao gasped before fainting, and being caught by her mother.

"Is that normal for her?" Kaen asked.

"Pretty much. That's the fourth time she's fainted since Zoro and I met her." Chopper sighed.

"Oh my, you really turned into quite the party all of a sudden." Xiao's mother said.

"Sorry for the intrusion Ma'am." Kaen said. "We don't mean to be a bother, we were just looking for our friends."

"Oh it's no trouble at all." Xiao's mother smiled. "Why don't you all come inside and rest a while?"

"Nami, go on in, I bet you could use some rest." Luffy said looking to Nami.

Kaen was uneasy, he could sense that they were being watched. Not from his Ki sense, but just from the general action he'd been a victim of since his encounter with All-for-One.

"Would it be alright if Eri went in with her?" Kaen asked.

"Papa." Eri said.

"Of course. It's no trouble to me at all."

~Surveillance Room~

"Thank you." Kaen's voice came through the receiver Transponder Snail, as Shiki and his men were watching the footage.

"Papa, I'm not even tired." Eri said, before yawning.

"That yawn says otherwise. Now go." Kaen said.

"Yes Papa." Eri sighed, following Nami into the house.

Shiki smirked, having found his missing captor's, before he noticed Kaen heading straight for the Security Transponder Snail. Right before Shiki was about to tell his men to direct the snail away, Kaen was gone, vanished into thin air without a trace.

"Don't take any chances, quickly turn the snail around and get it to a safer distance." Shiki ordered.

"Right." The men stated.

As they turned the snail around, they all froze in fear as it revealed Kaen was right behind it, and his expression was one of pure unfiltered rage, with red shadow trim over his now golden ember eyes.

"He plaid us for fools." Dr. Indigo gasped.

"Huh, you can talk?" Shiki questioned.

"You listen here Shiki." Kaen's voice came through the receiver again, drawing Shiki's attention back to the screen. "I will find you, I will hunt you down, and I will make you pay, for the experiments you ordered Dr. Indigo to put my daughter through. An' I will not rest, until I have put you through hell. When you mess with a Saiyan Warrior, or his family, you'd better be prepared to die, and pray to any deity above you believe in for mercy, because it will be nothing short of a miracle if you survive my wrath."

With Kaen having said his piece, the feed stopped, freezing on the angered face of the Saiyan, with the right side of his jaw showing the teeth over his lips from his Wukong state, and the shadow trim extending into a more tribal design from the eye on the same side.

Shiki was shaking, not in anger, but in fear. This was the first time in his life he'd ever felt any sort of fear like this, and it didn't sit well with him.

"The hell is wrong with me? I am Shiki, the Golden Lion. King of Beasts." Shiki stated.

"Sir, he's a Saiyan." Dr. Indigo said.

"An'?"

"Well… about four years after your escape, our world was invaded by Saiyans. There may have only been four, but just one of them was strong enough to take on all the Marine Admirals. The rest took on the rest of the government, the Four Emperors, and the Seven Warlords. It wasn't until the Saiyans had been worn to exhaustion that the government was finally able to kill three of them, while the fourth escaped."

"That is impossible. No being alive is that strong." Shiki said.

"I'm afraid it's true sir." Dr. Indigo said. "An' well, this Saiyan I believe, from the intel I've stolen from the World Government, has already taken on and defeated one of the Warlords, and gravely injured another, with not even five minutes of wait time between the two battles."

Shiki looked at Dr. Indigo, before looking back at the frozen image of Kaen. This image would haunt him, until he ended this. He was strong, but not even he was strong enough to take on two of the Seven Warlords in back to back battles.

"What will we do sir?" Dr. Indigo questioned.

Shiki was silent for a moment, before he looked up, anger having replaced his fear.

"Prepare the soldiers. We are going to war against that Saiyan, tonight after the General Assembly!" Shiki stated.
