Saiyans on the Grandline
All was quiet out in the fields surrounding the auction house. The marines stationed at the archipelago base, were ready for a fight, and ready to throw down with the pirates inside, but their attention was drawn to the front entrance, as three voices echoed from the main stairwell leading into it.
"Look, I already told the both of you, I'm gonna take care of this. So back off." Kaen's voice echoed as it got closer.
"Shut up, like I'd listen to a suicidal monkey tailed freak." Kid's voice echoed after.
"The hell did you call me?" Kaen questioned. "Get lost, I'm the one who's gonna take care of them. I took down Moria, so a bunch of pansy ass marines shouldn't be a problem for me."
"Back off will ya?" Law questioned.
The voices growing ever closer made the marines nervous. They knew they'd be facing against the pirate who murdered three Celestial Dragons, but they didn't expect there to be only three opponents. It made them question, just how strong these guys were.
"I said I got it." Kid said.
"Beat it you two, leave this to a Saiyan like me."
"Yeah? Well get lost."
"I'm gonna take care of this."
"Didn't you hear me? Just go back inside."
"You have zero authority to tell me what to do."
"Why don't you settle down!" Law sighed.
"Why don't you, get out of my face!" Kid exclaimed.
"Should muzzle both of you!" Law stated.
"You wanna try me, tough guy?" Kaen questioned. "It's settled then." He stated, as they stepped into full view for the marines to see, as he cracked his neck and knuckles. "Head back inside you two, this should only take a couple minutes."
"Weren't you listening? I told you two to go back inside first. I got this." Kid stated.
"Try to boss me around like that again, and you'll be the first one I cut down Eustass." Law stated.
"This battle is one that pits our pride as warriors, against those who'd stand in our way. You'd best leave this to me. Like I said, I am the Saiyan who took down Gecko Moria." Kaen stated, standing between the two captains.
"Get ready." One of the marines said, as they aimed their pistols at them.
"Two of these guys are captains of their own crew, and all three of them are spearheading the attack." One of the marines said.
"Eustass Captain Kid, worth 315,000,000." One of the marines listed off.
"Weren't you two listening? I said I got this." Kid stated.
"Trafalgar Law, worth 200,000,000."
"No I got this." Law said.
"An' the Saiyan who took down Gecko Moria. He's just as Kuma described. Worth 375,000,000."
"That's my first bounty?" Kaen questioned before he smirked. "Damn, the Navy must really be afraid of Saiyan Warriors. So while you two keep bickering…"
"I'll handle this by myself." The three of them said in unison.
"Steady men, hold your ground and don't falter before the pirates." A Lieutenant said, catching Kaen's attention.
"Hold on." Kaen said, recognizing his shape. "Hey, Lieutenant."
"What do you want?" The Lieutenant questioned.
"Just curious, but did you recently get your shadow back after Gecko Moria stole it?" He asked.
"Yeah, what about it?"
"Pffft…" Kaen tried to hold in his laughter, before he fell on his back laughing like an idiot. "It was your shadow?"
Law and Kid looked to Kaen, before looking to the Lieutenant, and began laughing at the man themselves.
"What the hell's so funny?" He questioned.
"Oh man, I never thought I'd actually see you. Especially not dressed like that." Kaen laughed.
The Lieutenant who he'd spoken too, was dressed in a pink frilly princess dress, with a cone hat with a vail on the end behind his back, and make up on his face, looking completely out of place with the scars on his face, as well as his facial hair and manly physique.
"Holy shit I never thought I'd see the day, when a Navy Lieutenant degraded himself like that." Kid laughed.
"Oh man, oh man. After the day I've had, I needed that laugh." Kaen sighed, calming down before sitting up with his legs crossed. "Sorry about that. Thing is, I was the one who killed the zombie who had your shadow."
"You what?"
"But before it could fly off, I managed to grab it, and wrote down something on it as a little test." Kaen smiled. "I wrote, I'm a pretty magical fairy princess who loves to sparkle and wear pink dresses. After that, I let it go and sent it on its way back to its owner. Never imagined I'd meet you so soon though."
"You… you're the reason why I constantly feel like I need to dress like this?" The Lieutenant questioned, his face completely red.
"Nice one Monkey Boy. You ain't half bad." Kid smiled.
"I agree. That made me laugh, and I haven't laughed like that in a long ass time." Law stated.
"You're gonna pay for this, you hear me Saiyan? FIRE." The Lieutenant shouted.
Almost instinctively, Kaen pulled Kid and Law behind him, using his shield to deflect the bullets fired at them, before he made a more secure shield out of a pillar of ice.
"We can take care of ourselves you know." Law stated.
"Sorry, force of habit. I was raised on a planet with the main profession of Hero, being what I trained for." Kaen stated. "But now that I'm not on that planet anymore. I'm not gonna have to hold back."
Jumping up into the air, and over the wall of ice, Kaen landed on the top, creating more ice that surrounded both Kid and Law, much to their annoyance.
"Sorry you two, but I work better when I don't have anyone distracting me from my work." Kaen stated as the ice closed off as a dome, before he jumped down and hit the ground in a three point landing.
"Rather gutsy taking on all of us on your own." The Lieutenant said.
"I've faced off against tougher opponents." Kaen stated. "Now let's get this over with. I have a daughter to check in on, who your precious Celestial Dragons shot."
"Your daughter, was shot by a Celestial Dragon?" The Lieutenant asked.
"Enough chitchat, more action." Kaen glared, swinging his arm forward, and sending his shield flying with the blades protruding from the edges, destroying the mortar cannons like they were nothing.
The instant his shield was back in his grasp, Kaen jumped into the air, and commenced with Rapid Fire Ki Blasts, towards the marines down bellow, hitting each of them and the ground, causing small explosions and for the ground to quake, before landing back on the top of the ice dome.
"I'm gonna finish this, with one final attack." Kaen stated, taking a wider stance. "Kame-hame…"
As the attack built up in power, Kaen felt Mina's Ki fly off to Grove13. Not sensing anyone else's from the Straw Hat crew, Kaen knew that Mina had to have used a Duplication Pack to transport the others, and avoid getting caught by the Navy, which meant he no longer needed to buy time for his crew.
"HAAAAA." He cried out, shooting the wave towards the marines, destroying part of the root that formed Grove1.
As the dust settled, Kaen could see that the marines were down, but none of them were dead. Several of them looked like they were knocking on death's door though.
"Damn, I did more damage then I thought." Kaen said, stomping his foot on the ice.
Cracks began to form all around the surface of the ice, before they crumbled to the ground and showed an unhappy Kid and Law.
"The hell was that? You've got the same power as Admiral Aokiji?" Kid questioned.
"I have no clue who that is." Kaen said, landing on the ground. "But a little tidbit, most Saiyans can't do what I just did by enveloping you in ice."
"How the hell was the ice able to neutralize our Devil Fruit powers?" Law asked.
"The ice was infused with my Ki. Which on this world, it's known as Haki; Ki can neutralize Devil Fruit abilities, and I took a gamble, on whether either of you had abilities." Kaen said. "Now, all the marines are gone, and I need to head back to my crew. See ya."
Before either of them could stop him, Kaen vanished into nothing, leaving behind a ring of dust where he'd been standing.
"Where the hell did that shit go?" Kid questioned.
"I think I might know, but let's leave him be." Law sighed. "I get the feeling, neither of us would stand a chance against him, even if we ganged up both our crews."
Flying off through the air, Kaen followed Mina's Ki signature. Not like he needed to, he knew his way around the archipelago well enough, and could easily find Grove13. But he couldn't shake the feeling, that something was amiss. Before he could ponder on that thought any longer, a bright light caught his eye from down bellow, and at the last second, Kaen shielded himself with his Ki, taking the attack head on. The last minute shield forced Kaen to lose focus on his flight, and was sent careening down, hitting the ground with a loud thump, putting a crater in the ground, and building up a cloud of dust.
As the dust settled, Kaen could be seen picking himself up, his body shaking from the impact of the blast and landing, as he glared towards the person it came from.
'I couldn't sense their Ki at all, which means they aren't organic, not even mostly organic like Franky.' Kaen thought, as the figure became clear, stepping up in front of him.
~Shakky's Ripoff Bar~
"I can't believe Kaen." Mina scoffed. "He's always taken things way too far, but he's never taken a person's life before now."
"I'd actually say Shiki counts." Zoro said.
"The Golden Lion Captain?" Rayleigh questioned.
"Yep. Had some trouble with him, but Kaen put the hurt on him real good." Luffy smirked. "He's also the reason why Eri's tail split in two, and the white of her fur turned blue."
"Actually, Kaen said it was Eri the one who struck the final blow to Shiki." Mina said. "So that would mean Eri was the one who knocked him unconscious before he fell into the ocean."
"My bad. Didn't mean to kill him." Eri said. "Even if he did deserve it."
"It's not really that big a deal Mina. I mean every single person on this crew, aside from you, has killed someone before." Zoro stated.
"Either way, what Kaen's done isn't all that far out from what a pirate does." Shakky said. "Though it's surprising he killed three Celestial Dragons."
"An' used a Quirk belonging to one of our classmates back on Earth." Mina stated.
"So you're surviving Saiyans from Planet Vegeta's destruction huh?" Rayleigh smiled.
"Kaen is." Mina began, as she finished tying off her bikini top and coming out from behind the counter. "Originally, Eri and I were human, but our DNA was changed to that of a Saiyans. Eri's was changed a few days after we arrived on the Grandline."
"How did you get to this planet anyway?" Shakky asked.
"An incident with a beta form teleportation device Aunty Athena made for heroes to get to Villain attacks faster." Eri said.
"We were gonna test it by using the device to go to on a family trip to a theme park, but we got caught up in an explosion that sent us to this planet instead." Mina clarified. "We don't have anyway home, and the Frieza Force hasn't even begun to touch this quadrant of the galaxy so we can't use one of their Scouters to all for Gine, Kaen's mom, to come and get us."
"Not like she could if they were able to contact her." Franky said. "Kaen explained the situation to us, apparently the main floater, the heart of the engine in the ship they used to escape Planet Vegeta, was badly damaged upon landing on Earth. Or so Kaen says."
"I see."
"So your only option is to wait for a Frieza Force ship to come, and take out the pilot and steal it for yourself, is that it?" Hachi asked.
"If the ship is large enough to hold multiple people. If it ends up being a pod, it will only be able to take on person at most." Mina stated. "By the way Rayleigh, I'm curious about something."
"You're wanting to know if Yamoshi was actually a member of Roger's crew or not." Rayleigh guessed.
"The news of it did seem to shake Kaen to his core." Brook said.
"Well, to be honest with you. He was." Rayleigh stated. "Yamoshi was one of the strongest members of Rogers crew, and his power even surpassed that of the Captain's himself."
"He was stronger then Roger?" Luffy asked in shock.
"He was." Rayleigh said. "An' the reason for it, is because of one simple fact."
There was a tense silence as Rayleigh took a swig of his drink, keeping them all in suspense, before he poured himself another glass.
"Yamoshi, was the Super Saiyan God of legend." Rayleigh said, shocking everyone there. "Though his power was greatly weakened after his revival to the world of the living, reaching the power of only a Super Saiyan, he was still far stronger then Roger could ever dream of becoming, and he remained within his divine form, 24/7."
"Revival? You mean he was dead?" Robin inquired.
"Dead as a door nail, for a few millennia at least when his legend first came to pass."
"So, how was he revived?" Luffy inquired.
"That, none of us were aware of. He simply just told us, he had an attendant who's power far surpassed those of the Gods, and was responsible for bringing him back to life a couple decades before Planet Vegeta's destruction." Rayleigh said. "In fact, Yamoshi was the second person after me, to join Roger's crew."
"No way." Sanji gasped.
"So he had been the second person to join the crew, and was part of the reason Roger became so successful?" Nami questioned.
"Not entirely. At the beginning, Yamoshi and Roger were equals in strength. Yamoshi was still greatly weakened from his revival, so he didn't have the power to match his divinity. But that slowly changed, as he became stronger in our journeys, and eventually regained a portion of his power, by the end of it all." Rayleigh explained.
"That's incredible." Luffy smiled.
"Sad part is though, Yamoshi was never the same after the crew departed. The Captain, Yamoshi, and myself, were all like brothers, and the crew was our family. But he changed, when that family split up, and went their separate ways. But he understood why the crew had to part ways." Rayleigh said. "The truth of the matter is, Roger wasn't caught by the World Government, he turned himself in, and that's why the crew had to part ways."
"Why would he do that?" Franky questioned.
"Roger… was sick." Rayleigh said. "It was an incurable ailment, one not even our ship's doctor could cure, only keep at bay. So when we hid the One Piece, and reached the end of the Grandline, Roger disbanded the crew, and turned himself in. The news that he'd been captured was only for the public, to make the masses believe they had the means, and the power to take down any and all pirates, including the King himself."
"But they failed to… hold on, if he's been here for a few decades before you met, why didn't he help in the fight against the Saiyans that invaded nearly twenty years ago?"
"Who says he didn't?" Rayleigh smiled. "Yamoshi was the one, who killed three of the four invading Saiyans, because they were here to end all life, but he wouldn't allow that."
"So you're saying the World Government, kept his involvement a secret?" Sanji inquired.
"They did. Not a single media outlet was able to get the truth about Yamoshi's involvement in the battle of the invasion." Rayleigh stated with a smirk. "Alright, that's enough dredging up the past. If I understand correctly, you're all here to get your ship coated, isn't that right?"
"Nyu, that's right. We wanted to talk about pricing." Hachi stated.
"Think nothing of it. I couldn't possibly take money from your friends." Rayleigh said.
"Wow, you're doing it for free?" Ussop asked. "I don't know why, but thanks."
"This is our lucky day." Nami smiled.
"The coating process will take three days. So you've all got some time to kill before you're all set to head off to Fishman Island." Rayleigh stated.
"Still, I don't feel right just letting you do that for free without compensation since it'll take so long." Mina said, before she blushed a bit as she reached into her Duplication Void, and pulled out a bottle of sake, none of them had seen before and put it in front of Rayleigh. "I managed to sneak this from my mom's stash and hid it in one of my bags before we ended up on the Grandline, so consider this our thanks for doing the job."
"Dragonslayer Sweet Red Wine." Rayleigh read before smiling. "Never heard of it, but I'm not gonna say no to a free drink."
"You been holding out on us Mina?" Zoro asked.
"I'll have you know it's a drink normally meant to be shared by a pair of lovers, but I thought a rare vintage like that would be a nice thank you to him." Mina said.
"How old are we talking with this vintage?" Rayleigh asked.
"Let's see." Mina said, taking the bottle back. "About… 400 years."
"Damn that's some really rare stuff." Robin said. "It could sell for thousands."
"One glass could even sell for a few hundred at least." Nami said, the Berries sign in her eyes.
"No way." Mina said. "I'm only bringing out this wine, on my terms."
"Fine." Nami huffed.
"The wine is actually pretty good, tastes more like grape juice then actual wine." Mina stated. "But don't be fooled by the taste, it will still get you pretty tipsy. Kaen and I went through several bottles of this stuff during the two days of recovery on Thriller Bark when we tied the knot."
"You're husband must be one lucky guy." Rayleigh chuckled before turning to the owner of the bar. "Shakky, do was have any cards left?"
~Later~
"Everyone has a piece of my Vivre Card right?" Rayleigh questioned, hoisting his bag of coating tools over his ship.
"Aside from Kaen, we've all got one." Nami said.
"I wonder where he is anyway? He should have been back by now." Mina said. "He's got a lot of explaining to do about his Quirk."
"Relax Mina, I'm sure he's just blowing off the remainder of his stress and anger. He's bound to be back to his old self in no time." Franky stated.
"Knowing him, he'd feel bad about killing someone, even if it was in a state of near blind rage." Zoro said. "That's just the kind of man he is."
"It's not like him to give into his Saiyan nature, true. But still, it's not like he hasn't done it before. This is just the first time I've seen him actually kill someone of his own free will." Mina stated.
"What do you mean?" Robin asked.
"A couple days before Kaen, Eri, and I arrived on this world, we had taken a family trip to a world renowned mobile island, called I-Island." Mina explained.
"Mobile, does that mean it was like Thriller Bark?" Brook questioned.
"Well, yes and no." Mina stated. "I-Island is a place where scientists from all around the world gather to create and develop different Quirk tools, and support gear for heroes, and other daily living needs for all different types of Quirks."
"Okay, so what does this have to do with Kaen and the blood staining his hands?" Franky questioned.
"Nearly two millennia ago, there was a Saiyan who lived on earth, went by the name Son Wukong, or Son Goku in the Japanese translation." Mina said. "His body had been mummified, and Kaen had a connection to him that no one could seem to explain, not even my grandfather the Guardian of Earth."
"And?"
"Well, Wukong's remains were found under what we call, the Great Wall of China, a large structure spanning thousands of miles of landmass." Mina stated. "With him, was a gem that contained his power."
"Would it happen to be red?" Luffy asked.
"Yes, that would be the gem you've seen in Kaen's chest. Long story short, Kaen needed Wukong's power to win a fight, he managed to get it, but Wukong's vengeful spirit took over, and used Kaen's body as a weapon to kill his opponents." Mina stated. "But Kaen got his body back, Wukong's dead for good, and the red streak in his hair is now permanent, and Kaen has a strong power, he saves for a last resort."
"The power we saw him use against Oars and Moria." Brook said.
"So who did Wukong kill?" Ussop asked.
"The Cooler Force's elites." Mina stated. "They came to our world to conquer it for their leader, but Wukong killed them, and…"
"An' what?" Chopper asked.
"I just realized, if we're not there, then Queen Frostita will arrive, and destroy everything searching for the one who got in the way of Cooler's plans." Mina stated. "Everyone on the planet will die. Mom, Mr. and Mrs. Yagi, all our friends, our teachers, our…"
"Mina, calm down." Robin said. "Everything will be fine. I'm sure that there are plenty of heroes who could handle Queen Frostita."
"No, not even All Might could handle Cooler's men, and he's the strongest hero in the world." Mina stated. "If Kaen isn't there to fight her, then there's nothing that will stop her from destroying the planet."
"I'm sure things will work out for the people of your world." Franky stated.
"If we could get our hands on a Scouter from the Frieza Force, we might be able to bring Frostita and Cooler to us."
"Wait, you mean a bulky earpiece with a lens?" Brook questioned.
"Yeah, how'd you know?" Mina asked.
Brook simply opened his skull and rummaged around in it, before pulling his hand out of it with, to Mina's surprise, a Frieza Force model Scouter.
"This wouldn't happen to be it by any chance, would it?" Brook asked.
"That is but… how?"
"When I first returned to Thriller Bark to retrieve my shadow, I swiped a few items from Hogback's lab." Brook said handing Mina the communications device. "Apparently it was removed from the main corpse that now makes Pinach's body."
"This is crazy. It looks like it's still in working condition, but all its power is gone." Mina said, examining the Scouter.
"I think I could…"
Before Franky could finish that thought, something came falling from the sky, and landed in front of them building up a cloud of dust.
"What the hell was that?" Mina questioned.
"Wait, there's something in the smoke." Zoro said.
The silhouette of the person in the dust came closer to the group, before it cleared and Mina's eyes widened when she saw who it really was.
"Kaen." Mina gasped, running to him as he fell into her arms. "Oh my god, your arms." She said, seeing his arms had been the location that took the most damage, with blood spilling out.
"Guys, run." Kaen coughed.
"What's happening? Who did this to you? Those damn Marines shouldn't have been able to do this to you. They weren't strong enough." Zoro said.
"It's not the Marines." Kaen said. "It's…"
Kaen's eyes widened when he heard the familiar sound he'd been evading for the entire day, before he pushed Mina towards the others, and turned around, crossing his arms and hardening them like stone with metal covering them to block the laser beam that had been shot at them. The force of the beam pushed Kaen back, as he dug his feet into the ground, before it stopped, and smoke rose from his arms with the smell of burning meat.
"Kaen." Mina gasped.
"I'll be fine." Kaen hissed, lowering his arms.
"Papa, eat a bean." Eri said, holding up a Senzu Bean for Kaen.
"Thanks Kitten." Kaen smiled, taking the bean. "Mina, I'm probably gonna have to use the experiment."
"What? No Kaen it's too risky, it hasn't even been tested yet. We don't know what it'll do to you." Mina said.
"What's he talking about Mina?" Luffy questioned.
"An' who fired that beam?" Robin asked.
"Someone we need to take down immediately." Kaen growled, as the smoke cleared to reveal, Bartholomew Kuma, without his bible or his gloves walking towards them. "Kuma."
"The Warlord?" Nami questioned.
"Huh? How do you guys know this guy's a Warlord?" Luffy asked.
"He's the one who took all our pain, and had Kaen take it on himself as a trade to spare your life, and to keep you from being taken in." Sanji said.
"This is the guy who caused Kaen so much pain?" Luffy questioned.
"No." Kaen said. "This isn't the Warlord. He doesn't have the paw pads from the Paw-Paw Fruit. Kuma was a cyborg, so obviously someone would build copies of him with similar powers. I think this is one of those copies."
"Either way, we have to take him out now." Sanji declared.
"I'm with you guys." Zoro said, taking out his blades.
"Kaen, I'm leaving the battle plan to you." Luffy said.
"I need an opening." Kaen stated. "Try to pin him down, and I'll take care of the rest."
"Right." The trio said.
Running for the Kuma copy, the trio of pirates each held their parts to play, and attacked Kuma at once.
"Here goes." Kaen said, taking the stance of his now signature attack. Building up his Ki, and coursing One-for-All through his entire body, Kaen focused on nothing else, even ignoring as Mina put something in one of the pouches on his belt.
"Kame…"
"Sanji, on your right." Luffy called out.
"Thanks Luffy. Watch your back moss head." Sanji warned the swordsman as he kicked away Kuma's arm.
"Screw you, I had him right where I wanted him." Zoro said, slicing at Kuma's legs as he dodged an oncoming laser attack from him.
"Hame…"
"Zoro, do it now." Luffy shouted.
"On it." Zoro stated, stabbing Kuma's foot with two of his swords, pinning it to the ground, and slicing through the leg with the one still in his mouth.
"Show off." Sanji called out, using a flaming kick to destroy the knee on the left leg.
"Out of the way now." Mina called to them.
"HAAAAA." Kaen cried out, sending the attack at the fake, hitting it right in the center of the chest, before skewering the copy of the Warlord.
The sound of something malfunctioning, echoed in their ears, before the fake Kuma's body began to quake and vibrate with blood pooling out of his mouth, and he detonated in an explosion.
"We did it." Kaen smirked, falling to one knee. "I had to expend a lot of energy to reinforce my arms to keep from breaking during that attack. But I think it was worth it."
"You're exhausted." Mina said. "But now I believe you have a git of explaining to do, since we've got a moment to spare."
"Yeah, what's the experiment you were talking about?" Chopper asked.
"Not that, but okay, we can get to it now." Mina said.
"Listen, the experiment I'm talking about, is this." Kaen said, holding up a dark gold colored pill, the size of a Senzu Bean. "I ground up one of the S-IQ pills, and combined it with a powdered Rumble Ball and Primal Rage, making my own power booster."
"Are you insane?" Chopper questioned. "There's no telling what kinds of effects that will have on your body. It's dangerous enough with the Rumble Ball and the Primal Rage, but to add that dangerous drug Shiki's scientist made into the mix? That could be suicide."
"Maybe, or maybe it's the key to achieving power to protect those I care about." Kaen said. "Either way, that form I was in during against the battle of Shiki allowed me to use 100% of my power, without any backlash, and I think I could harness that form again, with the S-IQ."
"Then we'll find a safer way to do it." Brook said.
"No." Luffy said. "Kaen worked hard to find the right combination for an effective pill, I think we should at least give him a chance to use it, and if it's too dangerous, then he's forbidden to use it, but only after we determine its safety risk."
"Right. I guess that's a good enough compromise." Ussop said.
"Oh dear." A new, rather laxed and laid back voice said, grabbing their attention to behind Kaen. "It seems you've destroyed the Pacifista sent to capture the Saiyan. That's a crying shame, but unavoidable as it wasn't as powerful as the actual Kuma. I suppose I'll have to put you down myself."
Kaen, acting purely on instinct, released a pulse wave of Ki from his body, and sent the others in the opposite direction, before he jumped into the air, narrowly avoiding another beam of light, as he flipped over a tall lengthy man in a golden yellow suit, wearing a white jacket like it was a cape, on the back it had the word, Justice, written in Kanji.
"Oh, you're a slippery little monkey aren't you?" The man questioned, turning to Kaen as he landed on his feet.
"I take it you're the Admiral sent because I killed those Celestial Dragons?" Kaen inquired.
"You're a perceptive one. Yes, I am Admiral Kizaru."
"An' you call me a monkey? Your name literally translates to Yellow Monkey." Kaen said, taking a wider stance. 'Damn it. I don't have the energy to fight this guy right now. All I can do is run.' He thought as he prepared to head towards the rest of his crew.
"Joke all you want kid. I'm still gonna kill you, for taking the lives of the Celestial Dragons. Now I admit, shooting your daughter and claiming her as his property was a bit much for Saint Charloss, but you should have just bit your tongue and left it be. Isn't abandoning people what Pirates and Saiyans excel at?"
Kaen grit his teeth in anger, before his power surged around him in rage, and he was instantly in Kizaru's face, surprising the Admiral before Kaen struck him in the cheek. Being pushed back, and sliding across the ground by a metal jagged fist before he stopped, his feet leaving grooves in the ground. Straightening himself out, Kizaru cracked his neck, and blew out a bloody snot rocket, as he marched back at Kaen, an unamused look on his face.
"Damn, you've seriously got some surprises up your sleeves kid." Kizaru said. "I'm gonna have to pull out all the stops with you."
"If you think, I was just gonna abandon my friends, my wife, and my daughter, then you've got another damn thing coming." Kaen declared, the markings from Primal Rage appearing around his eyes. "I might be a Saiyan, but I swear on my name, as the son of the #1 Hero of my planet, All Might, I will never abandon my friends, or my family."
"Kaen you…" Mina gasped, her eyes widening when hearing this.
"I will carry all my loved ones in my heart, and will destroy, anyone who dares to threaten their safety, whether they be a villain, a rogue hero, a vigilante, a pirate, or the World Government." Kaen declared as his aura flared around him, his canines growing sharper, as his eyes turned golden ember, his hair growing wilder and longer. "You will never see me, backing out on my word."
"Oh, then let's see what you're made of monkey boy." Kizaru smirked, creating a sword from his light. "Ama no Murakumo."
"Gladly." Kaen glared, removing his shield from his back, fully extending it.
In a flash, Kaen and Kizaru both vanished from sight, before they reappeared in the middle of the distance that separated them, Kaen's shield blocking Kizaru's sword, with waves of power washing off them, pushing the others back.
(Cue Music… Enemy: Imagine Dragons)
"This is surprising. Your shield isn't melting at the touch of my blade."
"An indestructible metal." Kaen stated, before swinging his knee up to hit Kizaru.
The Admiral saw the attack coming, and vanished in a blur of light, before reappearing behind Kaen, swinging his sword. Ducking down, Kaen evaded the attack, and kicked back at Kizaru, hitting him in the stomach and sending him flying back towards one of the Mangrove Trees. Righting his trajectory, Kizaru raised his blade, blocking a swing from Kaen as the edges of his shield were extended with the blades, and ready to cut him down.
"You've got a lot more lethality to you, then I thought." Kizaru said, pushing Kaen back.
"If you think my shield is lethal…" Kaen began as he put his shield away. "Then you haven't seen my hand to hand combat skills."
"Tough talk, coming from an idiot who just disarmed himself." Kizaru declared, lunging at Kaen, and swinging his sword.
Kaen took a fighting stance, remaining in the air as Kizaru came at him. With the blade of light reached Kaen, the Saiyan teen vanished reappeared at Kizaru's torso, his fist buried into the man's stomach.
"You Devil Fruit is a Logia Type. Which means I can't physically hurt you without Haki or Ki covering my fists and body." Kaen said, accentuating his point with each strike, pushing Kizaru back, before spinning upwards, and hitting Kizaru with an axe kick to the shoulder, sending him back to the ground, forcing him to bounce like a ball. "Now it's time I let you know something. I will never stop once I've reached my limitations."
"Kaen wait." Mina called to him, catching Kizaru doing something.
"I will go beyond…" Kaen began, charging up his fist with One-for-All. "PLUS ULTRA." He shouted, throwing down his fist, and creating a funnel of wind.
(End Song…)
When the funnel stopped, and the dust died down, the rest of the Straw Hat crew gasped, when they saw a sword piercing Kaen's shoulder, and he was coughing up blood, having returned to normal.
"I knew it." Kizaru said, kicking Kaen in the chest, knocking him to the ground.
"PAPA." Eri cried out, trying to run for him, only to be held back by Franky.
"No don't." Franky said, before letting go as Eri unintentionally electrocuted him.
"Your power was running on fumes from the moment you hit the Pacifista with that powerful attack of yours." Kizaru said, as Kaen turned over, and tried dragging himself away from him, leaving a trail of blood, before Kizaru raised his foot over the Saiyan's head. "Which means you were running on nothing but pure adrenaline in that little scuffle of ours."
"So?" Kaen questioned as Kizaru's foot began to glow. "A Saiyan shows their pride through their strength, and ability to fight to the bitter end."
"An' I'm sure you've done your people proud." Kizaru said.
"Seis Fleur." Robin called out, using her powers to role Kaen away.
Kizaru looked in the direction the arms were rolling his opponent, before he vanished in a blur of light, and appeared above the ground a second before Kaen appeared under his foot and landed on his back, popping his back and stopping Robin's rescue attempt.
"Robin… don't try to intervene. He'll come after you next sooner." Kaen stated, looking up to see Luffy holding Eri back, her electricity having no effect on him. "Get out of here now."
"It's cute how your friends wanna rescue you. But it's not gonna happen. Right now my subordinates are fighting the others of the Worst Generation, and that includes my nephew Sentomaru. I sent him to another location, rather then this one as I thought you'd be too much for him to handle, but it seems I was wrong."
"You bastard. Don't you dare kill him." Mina cried out, flying towards Kizaru, anger in her eyes.
Kizaru looked at Mina, before he raised his arm, and the instant she was in reach, hit her with a chop that sent her into the ground, blood spilling from her mouth and nose.
"MAMA." Eri cried.
"Mina." Kaen gasped, before gritting his teeth and pushing up. "Bastard." He growled, his voice sounding more guttural.
Kizaru looked surprised as Kaen was pushing himself to his hands and knees, anger fueling his movements.
"Now that won't do." Kizaru said, before jumping up and landing on Kaen's back, sending him back to the ground. "That's better. Time to die."
"You…" Kaen growled, as Kizaru's foot began to glow brighter.
A millisecond before Kizaru let the attack loose, his leg was pushed off to another direction, sending the attack in the same general area, before it caused an explosion. Kizaru just looked annoyed as he looked at the one who intervened on his kill.
"You picked some time to come out of hiding, Dark King." Kizaru said.
"What can I say? These kids era is just beginning, and I'm excited to see where it goes, especially with the impact this Saiyan Warrior, will have on our world." Rayleigh smiled.
"Rayleigh?" Kaen questioned.
"HEY MINA. GRAB KAEN AND RUN. WE'RE TOO WEAK TO FIGHT THIS GUY." Luffy called out, still holding Eri. "SPLIT UP AND MEET BACK HERE IN THREE DAYS. WE HAVE TO SURVIVE NO MATTER WHAT."
Instantly picking herself up, Mina grabbed Kaen and flew off, surprising Kizaru that she was still conscious, yet able to move so quickly after taking that attack from him.
"Great job playing possum." Rayleigh chuckled. "I'll keep Kizaru busy."
As the Straw Hats began to run, they were stopped as the ground trembled with the landing of a large being building up a cloud of dust, before the silhouette of who was there, revealed himself as the actual Bartholomew Kuma.
"It's the actual Kuma." Mina gasped.
"Mina, take Eri." Luffy called to her. "I'll try to keep him busy enough for the rest of you to escape."
"Kaen, can you run on your own?" Mina questioned, as Eri ran up next to them.
"I'll be okay." Kaen said, getting to his feet and running alongside them. "There's no doubt about it, it's the real Kuma this time. I can feel the Devil Fruit power within him this time."
"Hurry, let's move." Ussop called out.
As the Straw Hats ran, with Rayleigh keeping Kizaru busy, Kuma made his way past Luffy, towards his first targets, the Saiyan Family.
"NO." Luffy cried out, before all three of them vanished, leaving behind a plume of dust.
~3Days Later~
The sky was dark and cloudy, as the rain threatened to pour, with a large single ship drifting in the water. The crew aboard this ship, were all doing their own things to get ready for the upcoming battle they were about to face off against.
But the peace aboard that ship, was disrupted when something landed on the main deck, creating a large impact and tossing up debri and rubble.
"Man your stations." One of the pirates said, taking up arms.
The crew all gathered around the impact zone, and gasped when they saw a badly beaten and bloody Saiyan in the indent shaped like a paw pad. With the wind picking up, Kaen began to stir as he slowly turned his head, and looked at the pirates surrounding him.
"Where… where am I?" Kaen questioned, getting to his feet.
Taking a step forward, the crew surrounding him took a step back as they didn't know what he was capable of. Kaen however, was only able to take three steps forward, before falling over and landing on the deck face first. Without warning, one of the pirates stepped up and turned him over.
"Call for one of the doctors. He's badly injured, and it's clear he means us no harm." The pirate said, his voice muffling in and out as Kaen was barely holding onto consciousness. He looked up and saw the man had blonde hair, wearing a light pinkish purple shirt. "You're gonna be okay, just hang on."
Kaen looked past him, spotting the Jolly Roger on the mast and saw a large mustache and a cross behind the skull, with the mustache on the face of the skull, before passing out into unconsciousness.
