Thank you to everyone who decided to wait for this story. While writing this I learned that dialogue was hard as hell to write. I hope ya'll enjoy this. I have a bunch of things planned for this story, at this point it's just getting to it. Other than that, take care of yourselves. Please Read, Review, Follow and Favorite. I plan on focusing on my reading story for the next update. I wanna say writing will get easier but I know it won't. I only hope I get more confidant as I write and ya'll are able to enjoy it.

A family of four was seen gathered around a table. In the center was a circular cake with ten candles inside the outer rim.

"Happy Birthday Big Bro!/Son!/Son!"

A young boy had a huge grin and the whiskers on his face made him look a bit foxy. "Thanks you guys!"

As he blew the candles, he thought he saw flashes of a blond man and red-headed woman smiling down at him. Suddenly the world warped and it was just the boy and his father.

"Now Naruto, I believe its time we talked about the birds and the bees." Naruto's eyes widened. Oh no. No no no. Not this again.

"D-dad we don't have to-"

"Nonsense son! You see there comes a time…"

*beep*

*beep*

*beep*

"Ugh… stupid alarm is worse than the sun." groaned out a young man as he slammed the off button. This was Naruto Uzumaki, he was now a young man once again, and he was taller to boot. Now standing at a height of five foot nine inches. His thoughts went to the dream he just had. 'Would they be happy for me?' then he remembered the other part of his dream and shivered. Puberty once was bad enough going through it again was not fun.

Shrugging it off, for now, his thoughts were interrupted when he heard a knock on his room's door.

"Hey Naruto! Have you seen my DVD? I was gonna let Matsuda borrow it!"

"No! You sure you didn't leave it in the player again?"

"Yes I'm sure! Why would I leave it in there when I'm trying to get my hands on a good magazine!"

Naruto deadpanned at his little brother. "Check again, I'm pretty sure you've built a habit of putting it in and just forgetting about it!"

"I'm telling you it's not- never mind!"

Naruto smirked. "Told ya!"

"Yeah, yeah whatever." grumbled out the younger brother.

After getting dressed, Naruto wore a modified Kuoh uniform similar to his little brother except instead of a red t-shirt his was orange. Naruto opened his door and went downstairs into the kitchen and prepared last night's leftovers for lunch. Once that was done he called his brother down.

"Issei! I prepped our lunches, come on we don't wanna be late!"

"Alright! I'm heading down now!"

Footsteps could be heard coming from the ceiling of the first floor. Naruto swore if he didn't call Issei down at all he'd probably try and have a quickie with his right hand. Standing by the front door, Naruto let his thoughts drift.

It had been eleven years since he arrived here. Kurama was still asleep, it was like he was in a coma, he visited him every day but nothing he did or said would wake him up. On top of that, he didn't know if time passed differently here compared to the Elemental Nations. For all he knew, his eleven years here was barely a day over there or vice versa. He didn't even know if he wanted to go back anymore.

Thinking of the bright side, he finally got to experience what having a family was like. He even got to play the part of an older brother. Although he did have to retrain himself once he was reverted back into a child, as best as he could anyway. Living a civilian life while trying to train back into a ninja wasn't easy. Issei even joined in on the training once Naruto said it would help him get his harem quicker. He obviously couldn't teach him anything related to chakra which shocked him, but he did manage to teach him some self-defense.

Suddenly Naruto felt a tap on his shoulder, It was Issei, he looked at Naruto in concern.

"You okay there man?"

"Y-yeah I'm good, just thinking about a few things."

"Like what?"

Suddenly Issei had a mischievous grin, "Oh I know exactly what you were thinking about."

"Oh Yeah? What?" Naruto responded with a raised eyebrow.

"I bet you were imagining the beautiful forms of all the lovely ladies in our school?" Issei said with a wiggle of his eyebrows.

Naruto couldn't help but snort at that thought. "Issei. I love you, but why are you this perverted?"

"I wanna be the harem king! This level of perversion is nothing!" Issei shouted out to the world as the duo left their home. Naruto simply walked ahead of Issei after that declaration.

"H-hey! Don't leave without me! Naruto!"

Kuoh Academy was a site to see, a school that Naruto would begrudgingly admit was beautiful. It only recently became coed; something that Issei was over the moon about considering his nature. For all intents and purposes, Kuoh Academy was a normal school but Naruto's gut was telling him that there was more to it than meets the eye. Maybe it was the all too beautiful girls here, or he was just being paranoid.

With a shrug of his shoulders, he'd investigate if anything drastic happened. Until then he enjoyed living like a normal guy, it felt peaceful.

Shortly after entering the school he looked toward his brother and offered him a fist bump. "I'll see ya at lunch, Issei. Try not to peep okay?"

Issei grinned and returned the fist bump. "See ya Naruto, and no promises, I'll live and die by my desires."

As they separated Naruto just shook his head. He once tried to curb the perversion, but by then it was too late. Issei declared he wanted to be harem king and it went downhill from there. Cue Matsuda and Motohama befriending Issei and the perverted trio were born.

Naruto neared his classroom and groaned, second chance at childhood or not school would always be his bane. With great reluctance, he entered the room and made his way to his seat. The moment he sat down it was lights out. At least it should've been.

He heard a familiar voice whisper into his ear. "Aww. Tired so soon whiskers?"

Naruto felt a chill crawl through his spine when he heard her sweet voice. As he looked up blue eyes met magenta. With a grin, Naruto just asked, "You still wanna play this game, you sadist?"

Akeno Himejima was a beautiful young lady that Naruto had the unfortunate pleasure of getting to know. She had long black hair tied into a ponytail via an orange ribbon that Naruto silently approved of. She wore Kuoh's female uniform which had the fortunate side effect of showing off her chest.

"I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about whiskers." Akeno retorted with a coy smile.

The class stared in disbelief. The boys felt a fit of seething jealousy for Naruto, how could he the brother of Hyoudou of all people be flirting with one of the school's great ladies. Sure he had looks that made him seem like an exotic foreigner, and sure he was like a spartan in gym class, heck he was even kinda nice to everyone… An aura of depression surrounded the boys. How could they beat that?

The girls on the other hand… Well, their reactions varied. Some were jealous of Akeno, others of Naruto. Some even thought they'd make a cute couple.

Ignoring the class nonsense Naruto decided to ask the real reason they played these games. "Do you still want me to join your club?"

"Of course I do." Akeno responded as she walked to her seat next to Naruto. She really wanted him to join the peerage. She knew he wasn't an average human, based on the fact that he had chakra, something she learned from Koneko. She loved playing these games with him but she couldn't seriously go for him until he was a devil. She'd outlive him. Even then she wondered if he would truly accept someone like her.

Naruto looked in thought for a bit before he relented and said, "Why not. It could be fun."

Akeno widened her eyes in surprise. Naruto finally agreed to join the Occult Research Club. All she had to do was convince him of the benefits of a devil and then- no. She shouldn't get too excited, as much as she wanted to be there was still the fact of how he would react to devils. If he reacted poorly, well then unfortunately she'd have to wipe his memories. Then the whole school just to maintain some semblance of normalcy, and then never speak to him again.

"Sooo. When do ya wanna introduce me?" Naruto asked interrupting Akeno's spiraling thoughts.

"How about during lunch?"

"Ah I can't, I'm meeting up with Issei then."

"What about after school?"

"Yeah that'll work, I don't have any plans today anyways."

Akeno nodded as the teacher walked in. Naruto on the other hand laid his head back on his desk and went to sleep.

Akeno looked to the sleeping blond and held in a chuckle. She initially only took an interest in him because Rias viewed him as a potential scout via the discovery of his chakra. Reminiscing of their first encounter, never did she think she'd actually get attached to the knucklehead after that misunderstanding.

The class had just ended and Akeno expected her person of interest, to be walking out the room the moment the bell rang. Instead, she was surprised to find him still asleep on his desk, she thought she heard him mumbling something about ramen.

So she waited for the classroom to empty before she attempted to confront him. Once it was empty she walked next to him and gently tapped on his shoulders causing him to stir in his sleep before waking up and stretching.

"Excuse me, but are you Naruto Uzumaki?"

"That's me but, who're you?"

"I'm Akeno Himejima, I have something I'd like to ask you."

Naruto suddenly blushed at that. "L-look I'm honored but we don't know each other well enough."

"Huh?" Akeno was confused, what was he talking about?

Naruto rubbed the back of his head nervously. "I'm sorry I can't respond to your feelings."

Akeno just stood in shock, she was rejected for an entirely different reason. For some reason, her feminine pride couldn't accept this. Normally she wouldn't be interested in a human, but she could make an exception by breaking him down and making him her slave.

"Ara... You thought I was gonna confess to you?"

Naruto noticed the change in her tone and it made his skin crawl he knew her type. Still, he was confused, the room was empty and he was alone with a girl. This was just like one of those moments in romance anime that Issei showed him.

"Was that not what you were gonna ask? Whoops my bad I guess."

The nonchalant way he dismissed her ticked her off even more. So with a gleam in her eye, she did the one thing a man couldn't stand. She attacked his pride.

"Please whiskers, a child like you wouldn't know the first thing to do with a woman like me."

Naruto grew a tick mark. "Oh so it's gonna be like that huh?"

Akeno just smiled and looked at him as if he was a bug.

Naruto saw the look Akeno was giving him and he stared back defiantly. Sparks of lightning could be seen flying between the two.

Time flew by at least for one person, because as soon as it was time for lunch he practically flew out of his desk shouting something about freedom. Akeno merely giggled at the man child's antics, she'd see him at the end of the day, and hopefully, Rias would have a new peerage member.

Naruto arrived the at base of the tree where he and Issei usually met for lunch. As he waited for Issei he decided to do his daily talk with Kurama, maybe there had been a change in his condition. Once he entered his mindscape, he saw his companion still in the same position since the day they arrived on earth.

'Hey! Kurama!'

No response. Naruto didn't falter, he knew Kurama wouldn't respond but even so, he held on to the hope that he could hear him. So he spoke, he began with some of the differences between the two worlds. How civilian's here could live without chakra, but they had much more advanced technology the likes he's never seen. When Naruto ran out of things to talk about in a subject he'd switch to something else. He'd talk about his daily life, he'd mention his family, how he has to go to school again even if he slept through most of it.

Even if he sounded like a broken record, Naruto wanted him to know he was doing okay. Naruto said goodbye and vanished from his mindscape.

As Naruto vanished he didn't hear the low murmur coming from Kurama.

"Naruto…"

Issei had yet to arrive and Naruto's patience was wearing thin. If Issei wasn't gonna show up fine by him he'd just kick his ass in a training session from hell. At least that was the plan until he saw him running away from the girls of the kendo club. Naruto thought about helping his little brother but considering he made him wait just to peek at some girls. He just went with the motto of he didn't see anything. Shortly after that Issei was getting a perverts punishment.

Once the girls got their retribution and walked off Naruto walked towards his fallen brother.

"Was the beating worth it?"

"Hell yeah it was! I almost got to see Katase and Murayama's bare tits!" Issei said with no regret. He truly had a perverted constitution.

Naruto sighed and brought Issei's arm over his shoulder and helped him up.

"Thanks man!"

"Yeah yeah, I'm just gonna make your training hell after this y'know."

Issei had a look of horror. "Please. Anything but that!"

"Give up on being a pervert."

"I'd rather die!"

Naruto snorted, at least he was honest. "Training it is then."

Issei resigned himself to his fate but smiled when Naruto sat them down at their usual spot.

"Hey think you could tell me more about the book you're writing? I wanna know what happens after Menma encounters Haku."

If one paid close attention a nostalgic smile could be seen on Naruto's face. "Sure."

Naruto spoke of the tale of Menma and how he learned what it meant to be strong from his new friend Haku. He learned that the shinobi world wasn't always black and white, people claiming to be demons were still humans in the end. And how people could change if given the chance. When Naruto finished his story, he was surprised to hear sniffling from Issei.

"N-naruto, that was beautiful man. I don't know how you do it but you're gonna make it big one day." Issei replied as he wiped the tears from his eyes.

"Ah… Thanks, I don't really know if I'm gonna publish it."

"What!? Why not!"

"It's just something like a personal book y'know?"

"Nope. Publish it. It'd be such a waste to write all that and not publish it. The themes and messages are just too good not to. Especially Haku's message on what it means to be strong! Heck everything before wave was good too!"

"I'll think about it."

Noticing his brother was being obscenely stubborn about this Issei relented.

"If you say so."

As the two finished their conversation the bell rang signifying lunches end.

"Oh crap we're gonna be late!"

Both boys got up and were about to separate when Naruto remembered the thing with Akeno.

"Oh yeah Issei! Head home without me after schools over, I promised I'd join this club!"

"Alright! See ya later!"

In the end, both boys were late to class and were made to stand outside both their respective classrooms. The day went by after that and it was Naruto's time to visit the Occult Research Club.

Walking beside Akeno, Naruto was curious about what this club actually did. It had occult in the name so he hoped they didn't study stuff like ghost or so help him he'd run for the hills. On the other hand, if Akeno found out about his fear of ghosts she'd use that to her advantage, he was screwed either way.

As the duo walked they approached an old building that looked abandoned, it looked to be a few stories and it even had a clock tower. If Naruto had to give his opinion of the place it actually looked kinda cool, the surrounding forest really helped with the look. They entered the building and Naruto followed Akeno only to stop in front of what he could assume was the club room.

Akeno knocked on the door twice and a voice was heard.

"Come in!"

Naruto entered the room and was met with a candle-lit room. There were two couches, and in between, them was a small table. A little further from that was another desk and sitting in it was Rias Gremory the other great lady of Kuoh. Rias had blood-red hair that reached all the way down to her thighs. Bluish-green eyes that seemed to have a glint of greed, and in Issei's words a rack so amazing he'd want to get smothered in them.

Naruto smiled at the redhead. "Yo. I'm here to join the club."

Rias smiled back, she really didn't think Akeno would be able to convince him. Then again she never did say what happened with their first encounter. All Rias heard was a rant about stupid blonds with dumb whiskers that looked cute. She wasn't sure when but eventually the rants stopped and whenever Akeno talked about him she always had this smile. Rias was happy for Akeno, if not a bit jealous. In a way Akeno was living the life she wanted, it stung a bit.

Shaking those thoughts off Rias walked towards Naruto and beckoned him to sit on the couch. It was time to see how he would react to the supernatural. As the pair sat, Akeno went ahead and began preparing her usual tea.

"Tell me Naruto. Do you believe in the supernatural?"

"Supernatural? You mean stuff like Angels and Devils right?"

"Exactly that, how would you feel if I told you they exist?"

"If I didn't know any better I'd say you're crazy."

Rias chuckled at that.

"Alright I'll show you some proof."

The moment Rias showed her wings Naruto had stars in his eyes. He was no stranger to weird things so this was cool, it kinda reminded him of Konan except devilish.

"That's so cool y'know!"

At this moment Akeno chose to come back with a smile on her face. Naruto didn't think they were monsters. She set down her tea set and started pouring tea for Rias, Naruto, and herself.

"Thanks!"

"Thank you Akeno."

"Ufufu~ I hope you enjoy it."

"Based on your wings, I'm assuming you're a devil Rias?

Rias nodded in affirmation. Naruto reacted a lot better than she expected. There was definitely more to him than meets the eye. He was quick on the uptake as well, generally a really kind person and a bit of a goofball. Add those qualities on top of him possessing chakra for some reason, he would make a good fit in her peerage.

"You see Naruto there was a reason, why I asked Akeno to bring you here. You posses an energy source that most humans shouldn't have. It's called chakra and-"

"You know about chakra!?" Naruto blurted out interrupting Rias. This was the first lead he was able to find. He'd been too busy watching over Issei and just- No it wasn't about being busy, he got complacent and he knew it.

Akeno and Rias were surprised, the normally laid-back young man suddenly shouted and then went silent. Was he bipolar?

Naruto quickly regained his composure when the two ladies were looking at him in concern. "Sorry about that. I just didn't think I'd find anyone else who knew about chakra."

Rias thought about what she just heard. Naruto already knew about chakra so there went her grand recruitment plan. She had a whole script planned out and everything. Damn it.

"No worries Naruto, I'll be up front. I'd like you to join my peerage."

"What's a peerage and what does that entail?"

"To keep it simple, You'd enter a master-servant relationship with me. But you'd be reincarnated as a devil as well as gaining a stronger body, longer life, and access to magic along with your chakra. There's also the fact that if you make it to high-class, you'd receive your own evil piece set and that would allow you your own peerage."

"I don't like the idea of being a servant, or having servants."

"If that's your concern, then you don't have to worry. I treat the members of my peerage as family and you could do the same if you make it to high-class."

"There's more to it than just that isn't there?"

Rias nodded and delved into explaining the Evil Piece system, she began by saying it was based on a game of chess. In total there were fifteen pieces, one Queen, two Bishops, Rooks, and Knights, and eight Pawns. They were considered servants to the King which would be the leader or master of the peerage, a high-class devil.

"But why do ya'll have the need to reincarnate humans?"

Rias inwardly smirked, he seemed interested. She began by explaining the history between the Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels and how it ultimately culminated in a great war between the factions. By the time the war was over all three factions' populations had dwindled severely. In response to that, the devils came up with the Evil Piece system as a way to regain their numbers by reincarnating humans and other races into devils.

Naruto groaned in thought, he just found out there was a hell of a lot more to this world than he thought. He forgot to look underneath the underneath, Kakashi would be disappointed. A sudden memory flashed through his mind, it showed Issei with a red gauntlet.

"Hey… by any chance are you interested in recruiting my brother?"

Rias and Akeno stiffened at this, how could he have known? There was no point in lying now, if Rias could have both brothers in her peerage it'd all work out. Besides she had the gut feeling he'd be able to tell if she lied.

"I'll be honest, I am. One of my members can smell something draconic within Issei, and you smell like a fox."

Naruto's eyes widened in surprise at that, they could smell Kurama. At least it was someone from Rias' peerage and not someone from another faction with bad intent. Wait, if someone from her peerage could sense Kurama and apparently Issei's gauntlet then that meant someone else could too. Issei would get involved with the supernatural whether he liked it or not.

"Thanks for letting me know, but my next question is why? Why would you try to specifically recruit us, are you in some sort of trouble?"

Rias looked uncomfortable at that, he was narrowing in without really trying, was she that easy to read? Naruto Uzumaki was dangerous, there was so much more to him than she initially thought, he even took control of the conversation with relative ease.

Akeno noticed Rias's troubled look. "I'm sorry whiskers but that's personal."

Naruto nodded in understanding, he got his answer. "That's my bad, I overstepped my boundaries."

"It's okay, I get it, it's family." Rias replied with a faint smile.

After gathering his thoughts Naruto came to a conclusion.

"I appreciate the offer, Rias but I'm gonna have to say no. I'd like to remain human. I still have some thing's that need to be settled and I don't know if I could be reincarnated anyways."

Rias and Akeno looked shocked. He refused because he didn't think he could be turned and had something to settle? What did he mean by that?

Naruto decided to change the subject.

"Say Rias do you think I could spar with your peerage? I haven't had a good fight in a long while."

Rias raised an eyebrow at this. "Are you sure? You're just a human with a bit of chakra."

As she said this a second Naruto popped into existence with a cheeky grin.

"Trust me, I'm not your average chakra wielder."

The [King] and [Queen] looked on in surprise. Akeno began to poke and prod the clone. It was a physical copy of Naruto oh she was gonna have fun with this. Rias on the other hand got really curious about his abilities. If he was hiding such things she wanted to know more. Was he a ninja or something?

Rias had a glint in her eye. "Sure but lets make this a bet. If my peerage wins, you join it."

She wasn't gonna give up that easily huh. Fine, he could accept a challenge, this could be fun. With a smirk, he said, "How greedy of you Rias. I'll do it but If win "I just want you to talk to Issei like you talked to me about being a devil."

"Is that really what you want? I'm a devil I could grant you anything within my ability."

Naruto had a smug smile. "Yeah, I don't really want anything from you. Not like I'm gonna lose anyways."

Rias felt her eye twitch, he was talking smack.

Akeno noticed the eye twitch and held in a chuckle. This was just how Naruto was, he was good at getting underneath someone's skin.

"But why do you want me to just talk to him as a prize, I planned on doing that after what happened today regardless."

"Truth is I won't always be there to watch over Issei. If he has something supernatural, like you said, he'll end up getting involved whether I like it or not. I trust Akeno and she trust you, so I'll put my faith in you to watch over him when I can't. Besides I like to think I have a good judge of character."

Rias was dumbfounded. She didn't know how to react to that. He was putting faith in her after only a few conversations. He was either extremely trusting or he was a fool. Yet she couldn't help but smile at that, he really was different from everyone else in this school.

"Of course I'll watch over him."

Naruto smiled at that. "So about that spar."

While this was happening no one noticed the excited yell of a brown-haired young man screaming about finally getting a date.

"Papa!"

"Sarada! I told you not to interrupt me while I'm searching…"

"I'm sorry papa… mama told me to look for you."

Sasuke smiled at his daughter. "I know you didn't mean to. It's just this is really important."

"You're looking for uncle Ruto right!?"

"Of course, I made a promise to your uncle."

"C-can I help look!?"

As much as he wanted to say no. It was his daughter begging to help look for his best friend. "Sure Sarada. Just hold on to this piece of chakra filter. I finally have an idea of where to find him."
