Okay, this could get complicated. I need to try to keep my characters and universes straight. So, if I don't think the context is good enough to keep them straight, I will add a number to the character's name. For example, Leonard1 for the original universe, Leonard2 for the second universe, the one where he is married to Missy. Leonard3 from a third universe will be introduced in this chapter. I hope this doesn't get too confusing. I will appreciate your input on that.

I was kind of hard on Missy, but she really listened to her mother in that universe. :)

I have taken a bit of literary license. I have assumed all of the universes are at the same date and time.

**********June 14, 2015, 6:12 P.M. Pacific time ************

Leonard2 was laying in bed, becoming more excited by the second. He still couldn't believe he was here, waiting for Missy to come out of the bathroom. He had been stunned when she had agreed to go out with him. He was even more surprised when they had hit it off. He had been shocked and disappointed when she told him she was saving herself for marriage but had respected her wishes. Now, he was glad, this would be all the sweeter.

It was at that moment there was a flash of light and the next thing he knew he was standing in what appeared to be a lab with the smell of something burning. He saw what appeared to be a laser apparently about to overheat. Instinctively looking around, he found a fire extinguisher and used it on the laser.

Then, just as the shock of what had happened sunk in, he saw Sheldon1 come through the door. Then, it all hit him. What was going on? How had he got here? Where was here? Where was the hotel room? Where was Missy? Suddenly, it all became too much for him and he fainted.

When he awoke, he found himself in what seemed to be an infirmary. He looked up and saw the concerned faces of Sheldon and Penny and a woman he didn't recognize.

Penny leaned down close to him, "He's waking up." She shocked him by kissing him on the lips, "How are you, Honey, are you all right?"

He finally managed to get out, "Where am I?"

"You're in the infirmary. You fainted. When you didn't wake up right away, Sheldon had you brought here and called Amy and me."

He tried to absorb all that was going on. What had happened? Did he have a stroke or something? How long had he been out? He managed, "What date is it?"

Penny looked scared as Sheldon spoke up, "June 14, 2015, of course." He turned to Amy, "Maybe you should find the nurse."

Leonard's head was spinning, June 14, that was the day of the wedding. He looked at the clock, it read 7:00. Had he gone back in time? But then, they should still be at the reception.

As Amy came back with the nurse, he told her they hadn't need to get her, he was all right.

When she did a quick check and left, he realized the infirmary looked familiar. 'It couldn't be.'

"Where am I, what city?"

Penny was beginning to tear up, "What's wrong with him?" Sheldon answered, "Pasadena. Why are you asking these questions?"

Leonard felt dizzy again, he struggled to keep control, what the Hell was going on? Then he realized it was 9:00 in Dallas. He remembered it had been around 8:00 when he was waiting for Missy.

There had to be some kind of explanation. But first he needed to get out of there. He needed to talk to Penny and Sheldon. Maybe they could explain what the hell was happening.

Amy finally had to ask, "Leonard, why are you in your underwear?"

********** July 12, 2015, 5:30 P.M. Pacific time ***************

Although of course this Leonard couldn't know, it was almost twenty-eight days to the minute after Leonard1 had transported to the other Universe. Leonard3 drove slowly down a Pasadena side street. Once again he wondered what he thought he was doing. He would have never imagined himself looking to find a prostitute. He had never been overly successful with women to say the least so why did he feel so desperate now.

He smirked; he knew the answer to that. Each of his best friends were in relationships. It was bad enough that Howard had taken Leslie Winkle away from him and that Raj had found a great girl in Bernadette.

But the final straw had been when Sheldon, SHELDON COOPER, had found a girl online. Okay, Howard and Raj had hooked him up with Amy, but still, even Sheldon Cooper had a girlfriend when he didn't.

He was about to decide this was a crazy idea when he saw several what he assumed to be prostitutes on a corner. Still amazed at what he was doing, he pulled over to the curb.

'Carol' was about to head home when she saw a car pull up. Noticing the other girls were checking out other prospective clients, she shrugged and headed for the car.

When she stuck her head in the window on the passenger side, she had to smile. The driver was a short guy with big black glasses. He was the kind of guy she and her cheerleader friends made fun of in high school.

She smiled ruefully, 'Who was laughing now?' He probably had a good job and a wife and kids. She wondered why he was out doing this. Then she wondered why she cared; Johns all had their own excuses.

She did notice how nervous he was, she had a feeling he had never done this before.

She smiled, "Hi, there. Looking for a good time?"

Leonard stared at her. He was stunned how beautiful she was. She had long black hair and the clothes she was wearing showed she had a great figure. He suddenly had the absurd notion she was too good for him.

Finally, he managed to get out, "Yes."

"What's your name, Sweetie?"

Still stammering, Leonard managed to get out, "Leonard, Leonard Hofstadter."

She shook her head; didn't he know better than to say his real full name? Yeah, he was definitely new at this.

"My name's Carol." Although he didn't look the part she thought she better check, "You wouldn't happen to be a cop, would you?"

Leonard quickly shook his head emphatically no. She couldn't help smiling, he was so adorable.

"It'll cost you 200 bucks for the hour. That's for a blow job and/or sex. I don't do any kinky stuff. No restraints or whips." She hesitated, "Shall I get in?"

Leonard managed to nod, still wondering why he wasn't driving away. For some reason he was fascinated by her.

She got in, "Do you have a place?"

"No." He smirked to himself, maybe he should have said yes, thinking how Sheldon would react.

"Okay. Get going and turn right at the corner."

She directed him to an old hotel a few blocks away. Parking the car, they entered the front door.

The guy at the desk looked up, "Hi, Carol. Thirty-two is available."

She nodded, "Thanks, Harry."

They rode up to the third floor. She went down the hall and taking out a master key, unlocked the door.

Still wondering what he was doing, he followed her in.

*********** June 14, 2015, 10:05 P.M. Pacific time ***************

It turned out that there were no rooms available, but they did arrange for a temporary bed to be delivered to the room. Penny2 hadn't returned when they got to the room.

Leonard1 got a beer from the refrigerator while Sheldon2 took a water bottle. Finding a seat, Leonard took a drink and said, "What does your Leonard do for a living?"

"He teaches Physics and math at UCLA."

"How do you know him?"

"He was at Caltech for a time and we were friends. He left Caltech and took a job at UCLA after I got engaged to Penny."

Leonard remembered how Sheldon had reacted when he had said he was married to Penny.

Sheldon asked, "How about you, you said something about lasers?"

"I am an Experimental Physicist at Caltech." He paused, "It appears our paths are reasonably similar."

He took another sip, "Sheldon was my roommate."

Sheldon nodded, "I am a theoretical physicist at Caltech."

Leonard was a little surprised, "So is Sheldon."

There was a silence and then Sheldon asked, "Is your Sheldon married?"

"Yes, her name is Amy." He smiled, "He met her through an online dating service."

Sheldon looked a little stunned. He remembered when Howard and Raj had... "Is her last name Fowler?"

"Yes, Amy Farrah-Fowler, how did you know that?"

"A couple so called friends of Leonard tried to set me up online. I of course wanted nothing to do with it." He smirked, "Kootherpalli even tried to make me believe he had hidden some dirty socks in my apartment."

There was a longer silence and Sheldon said, "How did you and Penny get together?"

"She moved in across the hall when I was still living with Sheldon. Although I had a big crush on her, we were just friends at first; but then we discovered we had feelings for each other. It took a little time but we knew we should be together."

Sheldon thought for a moment and then seemed to make a decision, "Penny also moved in down the hall, but Leonard never moved in with me." He took a sip, "They did date for a time, but then they broke up and Penny and I got involved."

Penny2 waited until Missy came out of the shower. When Missy saw her, she asked, "What are you still doing here?"

"I just thought you might want to talk or have some company. I can leave."

"No, it's all right. Sorry for snapping at you. I would like to talk."

She smirked and said, "I need a drink, can I get you something?"

Penny smiled, "You know, this may require more than wine, let's see what's in the bar."

Fortified with a couple glasses of vodka, Penny said, "I can't imagine how bad this is for you. I don't know if I could handle it."

Missy nodded, "I think I am still in shock. I know you guys explained it but I still am not sure I understand or believe it." She took a sip, "I still wonder if he is just having a fit or something."

"I know what you mean, but that scar was pretty hard to explain away."

Missy nodded and then smirked, "Well, I waited this long, I guess I can wait a little longer." But then she sighed, "But what if he never comes back?"

"Don't think that way."

Then Missy smirked, "How do you feel about... Hell, I don't even know how to talk about him." She laughed, "Maybe Leonard With Scar."

Penny laughed, "I think Leonard will do." She turned serious, "About him being married to another Penny?"

She took a bigger drink, "At one time, I thought we might be right for each other, but it just never seemed to work out. Then, after we broke up, he met you and as they say, the rest is history."

Missy thought back how at the time, she had wondered if she had been a rebound for Leonard. But then she found she really liked him and they had eventually fallen in love

Missy finished off her glass, "Whew, I think I better call it a night." She turned to Penny, "Thanks for staying. I think I'll be alright now."

Penny finished hers, "Are you sure? I can curl up on the couch if you want."

"No, you go ahead." She smirked, "I may just check out my vibrator after all."

Penny smiled and saying good night, headed out the door.

Leonard and Sheldon had discussed whether they should tell anyone else what had happened, but decided it was best to keep quiet. They were going to check to see if they could get any kind of a clue of what happened. Leonard also knew that if it got out, it would be all over the news. He wasn't ready for anything like that.
