Hope everyone is enjoying the story as it is going! And this Chapter as well.

Usual disclaimer, I don't own anything other than characters that are not in DBZ to begin with.

Gohana flipped around to avoid an incoming blast as she landed on the ground and instantly tried to get in front of her attackers. Pushing out a ki blast from each hand at point blank range at their chests, Gohana used enough energy to make them feel it, hard. It did the job it was intended to do as they both went flying backwards. Goten slammed into the wall and then hovered a bit as he saw Raina a little bit ahead of him, having caught herself before hitting the wall.

"Come on you two, I know you can do better than that. We can't train or anything the entire weekend because my friends are going to be here, now take this seriously alright?" Gohana said getting ready to defend herself.

"But Lime trains with us all the time, why can't we train with her this weekend?" Goten asked.

"Because her new friends don't know." Raina reminded him, a fact Goten had spaced about having been told about this just once a few days ago.

"Exactly, so we can't even us ki, or our strength, or anything under any circumstances while they are here. Now both of you," Gohana started and walked towards the center console and hit a few buttons." I want you both to go all out alright? And I won't transform either."

Both Goten and Raina's face's suddenly lit up. To this day they could still never get the upper hand on her no matter what they tried. They usually had a much better chance if Trunks was with them, but he was at home training with his father. Both of them quickly powered up as much as they could as Super Saiyan's, and once they were finished Gohana hit the button.

"Increasing gravity to 100 times Earth's normal gravity." The machine vocalized the selection Gohana picked.

With a low hum, the gravity of the room suddenly increased. Goten and Raina didn't seem to really be effected by it much, but Gohana could feel it a bit. If she were to transform right now being so fresh still after their warm up, she might have barely even registered the higher gravity until she got a bit tired. But still being in her base form made it more apparent to her. Still it didn't bother her much at all, but she would have to take them a bit more serious now. It was rare enough they all sparred like this in the gravity chamber Gohana had, and usually when they did they were allowed to transform as needed. But since she was able to handle close to 500x gravity, she decided to give them a small chance.

Gohana powered up a bit now as well, her blue aura surrounding her in a flurry of flames as Goten and Raina's golden auras arched rather violently.

'Whoa, they are taking this seriously! This will be fun.' Gohana smiled.

Goten and Raina burst forward in a sudden acceleration towards their sister, who at this moment was their target. Goten appeared in front of her and started throwing punches at her which Gohana managed to block them all, but she didn't expect Raina to go behind her though. Quickly making a sharp 90 degree turn so she wasn't facing either one directly, she tried her best to block them each with just one arm. Focusing her extended senses more on Goten, she looked more at Raina with her eyes to more follow Raina as she was the faster of the two of them.

Goten managed to slip past a punch and it landed onto Gohana's head, causing her to wince a bit, and Riana quickly took advantage of this and launched a front kick as hard as she could right at Gohana's stomach, also making contact.

Gohana went flying backwards but landed against the wall and stuck to it like a fly, and just looked back at them both.

'Wow, they have improved so much!' she thought smiling.

Launching herself towards them both, Gohana tried to launch her fist at Goten but she suddenly stopped right before landing and did a front high kick to his face. Quickly launching an attack at Raina, Gohana threw her hand forward with a ki blast ahead of it. Raina saw the ki blast and tried to catch it, which she succeeded in doing. But she didn't see Gohana's fist that was right behind it, and it landed right against her stomach. Goten caught Riana as she flew back a bit and Gohana floated there, waiting for their next move.

"Even at Super Saiyan's we can barely touch her. What should we do?" Goten asked.

"Well, she's not going to transform so that does give us a slight advantage. Goten, can you feel the gravity?"

"Huh? Oh that's right it went up didn't it." Goten said as if it was total news to him.

"I think we just have to wait it out a little bit. Nee Chan usually trains solo in this gravity without transforming because it slows her down a bit, and it gets harder as it goes on. So maybe…"

"Oh, we just wear her down and will get the upper hand!" Goten said in excitement.

"Pretty much spot on Raina." Gohana praised their new found strategy. And they were right, even with all her strength she could feel a difference at 100 g's. It normally wasn't enough to matter much if she transformed, but lately she was trying more to increase her strength in her base form and mostly her normal Super Saiyan state. Even though she could hold her ascended state just as easily as her regular Super Saiyan state, the stronger she got in her base form, it would extend to when she transformed. She had taken advantage of this as much as possible that last few years, which was why she was able to stay so far ahead of Vegita. And right now the gravity wasn't bothering them like it was her since they were transformed. So it was a matter of time right now until she started getting a bit tired and suffering from it.

Goten grabbed Raina and quickly spun around and flung her towards Gohana as Raina also flew forward at high speed, magnifying the momentum she got from Goten. Gohana was caught off guard and got hit hard in the chest by Raina's feet. The suddenness caused her to get a tad winded and she struggled a bit to avoid the punches and kicks from them both. They continued to mostly circle her as they kept throwing punches at her, and Gohana was trying very hard to avoid the punches that would change direction almost every single time. Gohana focused as much as she could and trying to sense them and she was mostly successful at it. A few blows she had to actually attempt to block instead of simply dodge. They were using their small stature and speed to their advantage and Gohana had to get out from it. She had to admit this was an ingenious maneuver with them double teaming her like that, and she could only imagine if Trunks was there with them it would make this even more difficult.

Pushing her ki out, Gohana made a shock wave that caught them off guard enough so Gohana could try retaliating. Launching herself above them a bit, Gohana spun around and threw both her legs in opposite direction. Thanks to her spinning motion she had, her feet landed on both of them as it flew them both in opposite directions.

Realizing Raina was the main one she had to worry about, Gohana launched herself after her and started throwing punches of her own at her. Raina was still able to block a lot of them, but she couldn't begin to just dodge them like Gohana had just done, as Gohana was still pretty fast.

Quickly moving to the side, a blue beam hit Raina dead on. A cloud of smoke was now there and Gohana looked back to Goten who looked a little surprised. His target had been her, not Riana. And Gohana moved at almost the last moment to not let Raina have a chance to dodge it.

"Hey, your Kamehameha wave is improving Goten." Gohana said happily.

"Thanks!" Goten beamed happily and smiled.

"You weren't supposed to hit me you dummy!" Raina shouted.

"But Gohana moved out of the way." Goten simply defended himself.

Raina formed an energy ball and wound up to throw it. Gohana thought she was about to launch it at her brother, but right before it hit her she realized she was the intended target. Barely getting out of the way in time, Gohana got ready to shoot her own when she saw multiple ones coming at her.

'Oh crap!'

Dodging them with some difficulty, Riana just kept shooting ki blasts at her sister. She didn't really focus too much on moving the ones that missed, they just continued past her and impacted the walls behind them. Luckily the walls were able to take the barrage of Super Saiyan energy attacks, as it was designed almost exclusively for Gohana and Vegita to battle it out in using much stronger ki. Gohana continued to try dodging them, but a few managed to hit her shoulder and it caused her to slow down a bit from it. She didn't expect it to have as much force as it did. Suddenly getting hit in the back, she realized she had to pull double duty as Goten was also shooting energy blasts at her.

Gohana was now starting to get much slower at dodging, and she was getting hit a little bit more now. She was feeling a tad tired due to the gravity and the nonstop dodging she had done pretty much since this barrage started. Seeing she couldn't avoid them much longer, Gohana just braced herself and stopped bothering to dodge them. Goten and Raina soon stopped once they realized she was just taking the hits as every single one now hit her.

Gohana stood there shaking a little bit. Her body wasn't really damaged but her bike shorts and training bra were. The edges were messed up and they had some holes here and here, as well as some scorch marks on them. Quickly using their moment of passivity, Gohana powered up her ki to as high as it would go without transforming. Now actually strong then either Goten or Raina, Gohana quickly went onto the offensive.

Goten was caught off guard so badly that it took him getting hit a few times to start trying to dodge. He managed to get out of the way from a rather nasty looking right hock, but Gohana was right behind him. Landing a kick right to his stomach, Goten couldn't hold his transformation and his hair returned to its normal state. Grabbing him and helping him back to the ground, Gohana let him sit in the corner as Raina floated and waited. To be more accurate she was just as surprised at Goten.

Floating back up to her sister, Gohana smiled and got ready for her to attack. Trying her hand at it, Riana launched herself at Gohana and started a flurry of punches with her right arm and feet. Gohana was able to block them all but she didn't expect to see her other hand to come flying at her with a Kamehameha wave. Gohana braced herself to take it as she didn't think she could get out of the way, when all of a sudden Riana moved dramatically faster than before, and the Kamehameha wave hit Gohana dead center against her chest, causing her to get fly back into the wall and landed on the ground. Raina landed on the ground now as well and the three of them looked at the door.

"Just what do you three think you're doing?" Chichi shouted once the door was open as she walked in, the gravity having been shut off.

"We were doing a little training before Gohana's friends got here." Goten answered her with a big smile on his face.

"Is that so?" Chichi said with a tone and then looked over to her eldest and sighed a bit. "Either way, they just called and are only twenty minutes away. These are Gohana's first normal friends and you are going to make a good first impression on them." Chichi insisted.

With all three of them nodding, they exited that gravity room. Returning it to its normal capsule form, Gohana took it and then suddenly remembered something.

"Oh, Goten Raina. Before I forget, Erasa does know about our abilities, but will you please not mention anything about everything to her anyway?" Gohana asked them, mostly looking at Goten.

"But if she knows already then why can't we say anything?"

"Because Goten, I didn't tell Sharpner or Videl yet." Gohana answered her brother.

"Oh, well okay then!"

"Alright, we don't have much time. The bath is already ready for you three, now hurry up! I want Gohana to be ready by the time they arrive!"

Videl sat at the pilot seat and sighed in boredom. They had been flying for almost two hours now and she wasn't used to flying this long. At most she was used to about half an hour trip so flying for an extended amount of time like this was driving her nuts.

"Man, are we there yet?" Sharpner complained sitting in the back as he relaxed.

"No we are not, so stop complaining!" Videl snapped a bit as her own annoyance got the better of her.

"Were almost there though according to the map." Erasa said pointing to the build in digital map on the panel in front of her. "Maybe another twenty minutes."

Videl just groaned at hearing that. Still it was better that they were almost there. But she knew that the rest of the flight there would seem to take even longer the closer they got. How could Gohana make this trip daily anyway? It would be about a four hour round trip. Then again she did live pretty far out. So maybe she just woke up what was considered early for them and flew over on autopilot. That would make sense and she did think she hear Gohana mention her aircraft having autopilot. Then again she also mentioned it was a one seater so it couldn't be very comfortable in the least.

Either way this weekend out was just what they all needed. The crime in the city had been pretty bad lately and Videl had a few bruises to show for it, and even a cut on her arm which was currently wrapped up. Sharpner had been training like crazy for his upcoming fight and had yet to even take a single day off from training. And Erasa, well everyone in the school knew how her week had been what with Jake attacking her and Gohana at the beginning of the week. She was actually really glad that Jake wasn't at school the entire week, she wanted to beat his ass as well. But in the end she thought she would just get in trouble attacking him unprovoked. Even if she was Hercules daughter.

Videl couldn't have been happier when the map told them they were there. But looking around they couldn't really see where exactly they were supposed to be. Looking at the map again to double check that they were at the place Gohana gave them, she looked back out. She scanned around them and then noticed almost directly below them was a house, and she guessed that it was Gohana's. Bringing the ship down, Videl landed a tad bit away from the house out of respect. She didn't want to land too close.

"Damn, finally!" Sharpner shot up in excitement.

Videl and Erasa got out and stretched their arms and legs. Sharpner got out carrying their bags as he then capsulized the ship. Handing the capsule to Videl, they made their way slowly to the house.

"Wow this place is so pretty! And peaceful!" Erasa marveled at the scenery.

"You got that right." Videl agreed.

They hoped that they were actually in the right place, as there were not many houses around. Although that did help them feel that this was the right place. Once they got to the door, Videl knocked on the door and immediately heard the people inside. Erasa and Sharpner just looked at each other a little confused and didn't know what to think. But soon the door opened and they saw a lady a little taller then Videl with her hair in a bun.

"Hi again Miss. Son." Videl awkwardly waved to her.

"Oh you guys found the place just fine. And please, just Chichi will do." She said nodding and then looked over at Erasa as she waved at her. "I'm sorry I have meet Videl and Erasa, but I haven't met you." She said now looking at Sharpner.

"Oh, I'm Sharpner. It's nice to meet you ma'am. Err, Chichi." He said a bit nervously as he shook her hand she offered him.

"Oh it's so nice to meet you. It's so nice seeing my little girl making friends her own age. Especially a handsome young man like yourself. . Why don't you three come on in." chichi said opening the door fully and waved them in.

The three of them walked in and immediately started looking around. This didn't go unnoticed by Chichi and she walked back to them and tried to get the bags from Sharpner, but he just insisted that he had them. Not continuing that she just told him to put them down at the door.

"Wow Chichi, your place looks so nice!" Videl said looking around. She found its simplicity yet elegance refreshing. It was much smaller than her place, but that made it seem less empty.

"Yeah, it looks like such a nice place to have some peace. So different than the city." Sharpner said looking around.

"I take it that you grew up in the city than Sharpner?" Chichi enquired him.

"Oh, yeah. I was born and raised in Satan City. I've been in the country when I go camping, but that's about it. It's just so different seeing a house out here in the country."

Hearing noise a bit from upstairs, Chichi immediately recognized the sound pattern and just sighted.

"Well, you'll meet Raina and Goten soon. I think they were pestering their sister." Chichi said looking at the stairs, which caused the three of them to also follow suit.

Sure enough, both Raina and Goten came almost leaping down the stairs. Goten quickly stopped and looked up, noticing that Gohana's friends had arrived. He quickly went over to Videl and looked up to her with a big smile.

"Videl, you came!" he said excitedly.

"Huh? Well, yeah of course I did. Why wouldn't I?" she asked a bit confused.

"Gohana always say's your saving the city all the time with…Saiyako." Goten caught himself almost saying her name. Getting hit with the frying pan of death, by Gohana for once, seemed like a big enough reminder.

"Oh, yeah I am little guy. But I got the weekend off to spend time with my friends." Videl explained having knelt down to be about level with him.

"Hi Videl!" Riana said coming into the room as well.

Goten and Raina then looked to the others, and Goten just hid a little bit behind Videl a little shy. Raina looked a little shy as well but waved at them.

"How do you know them so well already Videl?" Erasa asked a bit confused.

"Oh, well after that incident Monday, I was sitting with these two so I got to get to know them a little bit. Well mostly little Goten here." She answered ruffling Goten's hair. "He wouldn't stop talking." Videl explained.

"Oh that makes sense." Erasa said, having remembered seeing them when they left the office.

"Why don't you three just make yourselves at home! I have some hot chocolate getting ready and I have an early lunch ready. Gohana should be down soon." Chichi said making her way to the kitchen.

They five of them went into the living room, Goten just being super excited to have company he wouldn't stop showing them all sorts of stuff in the house. Videl and Erasa found it rather cute while Sharpner was just trying to understand with how fast he was talk. All three of them were looking around at the place and Chichi brought them all out a cup of hot coco. Goten nearly gulped his entire cup down in a single sip, while Riana was slowly sipping hers.

"So I take it your appetite is just like your sisters?" Sharpner asked.

"Nee Chan can eat more than us. She does train harder than we do."

"Oh, so she teaches you two sluggers some martial arts huh?" Sharpner said suddenly getting on a topic he knew about.

"Yeah, ever since we were about three!" Goten blurted out.

"Wait, three? Why since you were three" Sharpner stuttered a little bit surprised, and Videl and Erasa were just as confused based on their faces.

"They always saw me practicing and so they wanted to learn." Gohana said as she got to the bottom of the stairs. Her hair was still a little damp from her shower, but she had on just a simple t shirt and very loose jeans.

"You guys didn't have any difficulty finding the place did you?" Gohana asked.

"More like it was a long flight." Erasa pouted.

"Yeah, sorry about that. I usually just set my ship on autopilot." Gohana lied.

"You really grew up around here?" Videl asked.

"Huh, oh yeah. I was born in that room over there."She casually pointed to a room down the hall that was her room when she was younger, before the house had an addition added to it for Raina and Goten's rooms, and her newer larger room.

"Anyway, should I show you all around the area?" Gohana asked a little nervously having never really even had company over like this so unsure what to even really do.

"Well, your mom said she had food almost ready. Maybe after lunch we could! I'd love to go for a small hike anyway!" Erasa said excited.

"Oh, then I have to show you where I go swimming!" Gohana said excited, no longer nervous. "Oh, did you bring any swim suits?" Gohana asked.

"Yeah, we did. Sharpner thought there would be lakes so we figured just in case."

Gohana quickly excused herself and headed to the kitchen. She wanted to know when food would be ready. She was really hungry after the morning training session they had. Coming back with her hot chocolate soon after, she was sipping on it and looked really content with herself.

"So food will be ready in about half an hour. So what do you say I show you around a bit?"

"Sounds fun! I'd love to see the rest of the house. You've seen out places." Erasa said as bubbly as ever.

Gohana quickly toured the house for them, very glad her mom had enough foresight to at least take some photos down that showed either the other Z fighters so they didn't recognize them, or any of them in their Super Saiyan state. It seemed odd to her how fascinated they were with her place. Then again she had lived here her entire life, minus the time she was in space or in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. When they got back, they found Raina and Goten watching TV so they just sat down and continued talking.

The scent of the food was permeating the entire house, and everyone's stomach was growling loudly. Even though they were so used to hearing Gohana's stomach, they just kept staring at Raina and Goten as their stomachs were pretty loud in their own right.

"Hey Gohana, do they eat like you do?" Erasa asked, having never asked if her appetite was because she was a Saiyan.

"Huh, oh yeah pretty much!" Gohana said knowing what she was trying to get around. "Although they don't eat as much as I do, it's still a pretty good amount."

"Hey Gohana, don't mind me prying but how the heck do you guys afford so much food?" Videl asked confused, having actually seen how much the amount of food she has seen Gohana eat cost. And these two eat almost as much as her supposedly so the food bill would be massive.

"Well, I sorta have a part time job which pays pretty well. And also we usually get a huge amount of the food we have from around here." Gohana explained.

"So you guys hunt for your meat?" Sharpner asked.

"Yup, and we sell the fur for some basics such as rice." Gohana explained. "And it's alright, I actually get that question often." Added on a little lie to break the tension slightly.

The rest of the time they hung out in the living room, until Chichi had asked Goten and Raina to help her get the food on the table. Today they were going to eat outside as they already had large table for parties, so it made more sense. Gohana was happily explaining about the area around, and many of the childhood memories that she could explain to them at this point. And even though she was hiding things, it didn't seem to be bothering her anymore. She was just having fun.

"Food is ready everyone!"

When they four of them got outside, all but one just stopped and stared at the amount of food that was on the table. Sure they were used to seeing Gohana with a huge amount of food, but this was on a totally different level. There were only seven of them, but they could swear the amount of food in front of them could easily feed a hundred men.

"No way, how the heck do you all eat so much?" Sharpner managed to get out in shock.

"Oh, trust me almost everything here is for these three here." Chichi said pointing to her kids, and she looked back at them. "Well come on you three, take a seat! Lunch is ready."

The three of them finally sat down, and they just kept staring at everything. They didn't even know where to begin, or even what to try. There were just so many different things, not to mention a huge amount of each thing as well. Videl quickly noticed that Chichi was gathering things on a plate. Was she serving everyone one at a time perhaps? But why would they need that. Looking over to Gohana, she noticed that she was just staring at the food and she kept swallowing for some reason. She looked over to Riana and Goten, both doing the same thing. Except Goten, he was letting some saliva leak out of his mouth.

"Oh, I would recommend grabbing everything you want right now. And it's best to grab more than you think you'll even eat." Chichi informed them.

The three of them just looked confused but just started grabbing a little bit of things they thought looked good. They thought everything looked good, and even took Chichi's advice and grabbed a little bit more. It didn't take them too long to have a plate full of food, and taking Chichi's advice, and they sat back down after getting a second plate of food.

"If you think you'll want anything else, you might want to grab it now. You probably won't get another chance, even if you try." Chichi repeated herself, as she had two full plates in front of her and three bowls of soup.

"Um, I don't even think I could eat what I did already grab." Sharpner said looked at the two plates of food he also had. Erasa and Videl both seemed to agree with him.

"Alright kids, dig in."

Soon all seven of them were busy eating. But it was mostly them just watching Gohana and her siblings eat the way they are. Sharpner had barely even finished his first plate by the time Raina was on her twelfth plate, and she was behind both Goten and Gohana. They noticed that Chichi was eating more like they were and it threw them all off that they were so different than her.

"So I take it they get their appetite from their dad?" Videl asked.

"Yes, they all do. And as hard as it is to believe, he ate even more than Gohana. Although not by a huge amount these days." Chichi said with a soft smile looking over at her kids.

Videl and the others were soon finishing up their plates, but they still wanted to eat some. The food was so good and they were all staring at the food remaining. There was less than half the food than when they started eating, and there was no sign of them slowing down any time soon.

Sharpner made a pass to get some more dumplings and before he even got close to the food he hand got slapped hard by a spoon in Gohana's hand and she immediately grabbed it and put it on her plate and just continued eating the soup she was already working on.

"Hey what the heck!" Sharpner nearly screamed as he rubbed his hand, as it actually hurt pretty badly.

"I did warn you to grab more than you though you would want." Chichi said.

"You've gotta be kidding me, she's acting territorial over food." Sharpner countered still rubbing his hand.

Chichi grabbed a large dumpling that was on her plate and handed it over to Sharpner and he just looked at it and then back to her.

"I'm actually done. Again I grab more than I know I'll eat. I did warn you. Just make sure for dinner you grab more than you think you'll eat."

"You mean they can eat more like this again?" Erasa asked in surprise.

"Yes easily. I already have part of dinner started in the oven as well."

"Hey Chichi?" Videl started, and chichi just nodded. "Would it be too much to ask for if we could have more of these for dinner?" Videl said holding something on the end of her chopsticks.

"I see you really like those don't you? And of course I can make some. They are actually really easy to make."

Videl happily ate the piece and as she chewed it she kept eying the large plate with a few more of it. She wanted to grab some more now as she didn't want to have to wait for dinner for more. But Sharpner flat out got hit over trying to grab something that there was plenty of. Even Erasa tried grabbing some more food and Raina just grabbed her wrist and gave her a slight stare. And again there was plenty of it. She didn't dare grab anything else when there was only a few left.

Videl just sighed and continued to eat the food that was already on her plate when she suddenly saw something being placed on her plate. Looking down and she found the last few pieces sitting on her plate. She looked over to Gohana who was just smiling at her with food in her mouth.

"Told ya mom makes awesome food." She said with some noodles still in her mouth, but not enough to make her speech inaudible, and immediately went back to stuffing her mouth with food.

"Hey, why does Videl get special treatment?" Sharpner pouted but just continued to eat the dumpling he had been given.

Chichi noticed this instantly and just looked at Gohana, and she wasn't sure if she really just saw that. She never saw Gohana offer up food after she was told it was hers. Even Goten and Raina did the same thing. Videl however just happily ate the food Gohana gave her though and didn't argue. She just kept an eye on them the remainder of the time they were eating, curious how they ate so much.

The three of them were laying out on the grass looking at the sky. They had all stuffed themselves so much that just relaxing felt nice. And it wasn't every day they were out in nature like this. Even Sharpner admitted that it felt great just laying down on the grass after such a large meal.

"Hey Gohana?"

"What's up Sharpy?" she said having adopted to using that nick name from both Videl and sharpie.

"You mentioned earlier that you have a part time job. How on earth do you have time for a job if you live all the way out here and go to school?" he asked.

Gohana wanted to smack herself in the face for that. She hadn't thought that part though earlier, she just stated the fact. It was probably because she was so comfortable in her own home she didn't think much of just talking. She would have to make sure she was more careful from here on out with them.

"It's…a small thing and I can just do it whenever I have time." Gohana somewhat honestly answered.

"Can I ask what it is at least?" Sharpner followed up.

"Um, well I do a few different things, but I get the simplest answer would be…honestly I'm a scientist."

"No way, you already have a job as a scientist?" Erasa shot up surprised. "Oh my gosh, how did you do get a job like that already?" Erasa was somewhat loud now with a hint of excitement.

"Um well to be honest originally I just knew someone there, and because I know a lot I sorta landed with a part time job because they saw I knew what I was doing and had a good promising career. Honestly I wanted to be a scientist as a kid, but now I want to do both that and martial arts." Gohana explained and then looked at Erasa a little confused. "Why are you so curious about it anyway?"

"Erasa here has big dreams of becoming a scientist believe it or not." Videl said.

"Wait, how come I never knew this?" Gohana asked confused. "You also seem so out of it during class, um no offense."

"I know a lot of the stuff they are teaching to begin with so I really don't have to study much. Haven't you ever noticed that my grades are pretty much perfect?"

Gohana thought back to the few times she saw tests scores all posted on the wall and Erasa was always at the top as well, she just never really did think much of it because she didn't even both much with her own scores. She never had to worry about anything anyway because she knew more than the teachers themselves. Then again she never did even ask Erasa about school very much to begin with, so maybe it wasn't too out there that Erasa as well knew a lot more than she thought. Sharpner and Videl both did ask Erasa for help as well as her so they obviously knew how much smarter she was.

"May I ask where you work?" Erasa asked curious.

"I'm actually not allowed to say." Gohana lied, actually just not wanting to say just yet.

Erasa just laid back down on the ground and looked at the sky and didn't think much of it. Gohana had her reasons not to tell her and she just didn't push the issue. She already trusted so much in her when she revealed she was part alien of all things.

"And why can't you tell us?" Videl asked with a very harsh tone.

"Well because I am not allowed to that's why." Gohana flatly said again. "It's…part of my agreement for being a part time worker. They already made an exception for me to work from home, so I follow the rules."

Videl looked a little embarrassed a bit and just sighed, having not really thought of that in the first place. Still she just looked at Gohana though, and having something else she wasn't telling them just got on Videl's nerves again. She was absolutely convinced that she was Saiyako, and now she wouldn't tell them where she works. And even though Erasa had a good point a while back about her keeping it a secret for a good reason, it was starting to get to Videl. If she was her friend, why couldn't she tell her? The amount of things she couldn't explain to them was starting to get to her, and her instincts told her she was lying. She could understand wanting to keep some secrets but the amount of times Gohana avoided a question, or just lied and was obvious, was really starting to get to her.

'I'm going to get this out of you eventually Gohana.'

They were brought out of their relaxation as Chichi came out of the house and made their way to them, Videl noticing first and just standing up. She was so used to being super polite, that even now she couldn't not do it. Videl looked a bit sheepishly at her and then sat back down.

"Gohana, I know your friends are here to hang out with you but could I ask you to real quick go get some meat for dinner?" Chichi asked.

"Huh, why can't Goten or Raina?" Gohana asked as she sat up confused why she was being asked.

"Because young lady I asked you too, that's why." Chichi said as she crossed her arms.

Gohana lightly twitched and just stood up and started to head into the house to grab something different to wear, and as she did Chichi turned to Sharpner.

"Sharpner, may I ask that you go with her and make sure she's safe?"

"What, me keep her safe? How am I supposed to make sure she's safe when she grew up here? And she's even stronger than I am?" Sharpner looked a bit confused at Chichi.

"Isn't it the right thing for a do for a young gentleman like yourself to make sure your friends are safe, especially a young lady?" Chichi pointed out to him with just make Sharpner even more confused. He just fumbled around with his words and then just sighed and nodded.

Videl and Erasa just watched this unfold in front of them. They couldn't help but laugh a little bit at what just happened. It was difficult to get Sharpner a jumbled mess like he just was with talking and Chichi seemed to be very old fashioned compared to their parents. Erasa's parents didn't really mind if Sharpner accompanied Erasa or not, they knew she was safe either way. And Hercule wouldn't even let any boy near Videl, except Sharpner as they have been friends since they were all children. So seeing Chichi was very different, yet oddly refreshing to them in a way.

Gohana quickly came out of the house and was about to head off to catch some food when Chichi waved her over. She just headed over to them and she saw the weird looks she was getting from her friends.

"What?" She asked confused.

"Gohana, what are you wearing?" Videl asked.

Gohana looked down at her attire. She had on one of her specially made sparring sports bra and some basic swimming shorts. She looked back up to her and just shrugged a bit.

"Well I'm going to get wet so I just put on something I don't mind getting wet." She said matter of factly.

"I take it that Raina and Goten wanted fish then." Chichi said smiling, and Gohana just nodded. "Either way, Sharpner here is going to accompany you and make sure your safe."

Gohana now gave her mother almost the same look that her friends had just given her just earlier and just had a blank stare.

"Why do I need Sharpner to keep me safe?"

"Just go you two!" Chichi snapped, causing them all to jump at the sudden shouting and clap of her hands.

Gohana and Sharpner slowly walked through the woods, Gohana the one leading as she knew where they were going. Sharpner just followed without much thought, but he kept stealing glances at Gohana. He did have to admit that she was really pretty.

"So where are we going anyway?" Sharpner finally asked after just following her for a few minutes.

"There's a massive lake were we usually catch fish, so were going there right now actually." Gohana answered. "And sorry about my mom acting the way she is. She's…just like that." Gohana quickly said.

"Oh don't worry, it's is honestly a little refreshing to be honest. Still it is a little odd, her acting like that. I mean you're from here, so why on earth would you even need me to keep you safe." Sharpner kept talking out loud.

"She's trying to hook us up." Gohana causally flat out said having picked up on her mother's scheme.

"WHAT!?" Sharpner nearly froze and fell over, but just stumbled after her.

"Well my mom is obsessed with me to find a good husband and have lots of kids. And you're the first guy I've hung out with outside my family really. So she's trying to get us to fall for each other." Gohana explained and stopped.

"Oh, well I guess that makes sense a little bit but…" Sharpner looked down a bit.

"But what?" Gohana now asked curious.

"Well, yeah you're really hot and nice and all that, but…" he stalled with an obvious blush on his face.

"Oh, you like someone else then huh?" Gohana said rather happy. "That's great Sharpy! Who is it?"

Sharpner blushed a bit more and then just looked back at the house, and while it was far away at this point, it was still visible. Gohana leaned to the side to see around him, and saw Videl and Erasa still outside, with Raina and Goten running around as well.

'Does she realize she acts cute or is she that oblivious?' Sharpner wondered, seeing Gohana literally just tilt at her hips to see around him. This wasn't the first time Gohana just normally did something that happened to be cute.

"Soooo, you like Videl then?" Gohana asked.

"Huh, what? No not Videl." Sharpner started.

"Ooooh. Huh who would have guessed." Gohana said and then turned and started walking again. Sharpner quickly caught up with her and was a little surprised she wasn't bombarding him with questions. He just kept walking and staring at her just waiting for what he thought would come.

"You're not going to start bombarding me with questions?" Sharpner just looked at her suspiciously.

"Umm, should I be?" Gohana asked confused.

"Right, didn't grow up around other kids. You don't really gossip either." Sharpner said out loud. "Could you please not tell Erasa about it?" Sharpner asked and that caused Gohana to stop.

"Huh, why not? Honestly I'm more curious why you two aren't together then if you like her."

"Um, well I don't want to mess up what we have." Sharpner said, and Gohana could tell that he truly meant it.

"So you don't want to mention it to her because you don't want to lose her friendship huh? Well I guess that makes sense. But since when anyway?" Gohana asked, now curious.

"Um, well a few years now actually." Sharpner said with a smile on his face, slightly flushed.

"Well I think you should tell her either way. If it's something that you want, then why not shoot for it. Not to mention that you two are close since you've been friends for such a long time. She'll understand." Gohana said and continued to lead the way, Sharpner mostly now just deep in thought.

They arrived at the massive lake a little while later having mostly spent the rest of the walk in silence. Once they arrived, Sharpner started looking all around. He had spent a good amount of time just taking in the site of the woods. They really didn't talk about anything other than just the area they were in. Gohana pointed out a few stories about things that happened when she was younger, or even Goten and Raina. Sharpner continued this admiration for the area as he just looked all around the lake.

"Wow, I said it earlier but it must have been amazing growing up around here."

"Yeah it is." Gohana smiled and started taking off her shoes.

Sharpner noticed Gohana taking her shoes off and then it suddenly occurred to him that they didn't have any fishing equipment. He had been fishing before but as far as he knew it required a fishing pole and some lure. But they didn't bring anything. They probably kept it in the area though just to make it easier than lugging it back and forth all the time. He looked around for any signs of stashed fishing equipment and then suddenly saw Gohana walking into the water.

"Gohana, uh what are you doing?"

"I'm going to catch us some fish. What does it look like." She said and continued to walk a few more feet before just diving in, knowing it suddenly went deeper at that spot.

Gohana swam a little bit deeper into the lake and started to look around. She needed to find a pretty decent catch, and the fish in this lake grew massive thanks to its depth. Plenty of food for them. Looking all around, Gohana just saw some smaller fish around her, and by small it really meant they were almost the same size as she was. They were more than enough to feed just her mom and her friends. But she needed something to satisfy her and her siblings. Gohana kept swimming a little bit deeper to where the larger ones were more likely to be.

A sudden shadow was above Gohana and she looked up and noticed that a rather massive fish was above her, about three or four times bigger than she was.

'Score!'

She wasn't sure if the fish was stalking her, as this large species attacked from above where some smaller prey might not expect something of its size, but Gohana was pretty positive it knew she was there. Slowly rising up to towards the surface, Gohana just kept getting closer to the fish, waiting to attack it. Normally at this point she would probably just send a ki blast at its brain, killing it instantly. But she couldn't because it would pass right through it and out the water.

'Why couldn't mom have sent Erasa with me, at least then I could just kill it quickly.'

The fish suddenly in a burst of speed went right towards Gohana, and she just caught its jaws easily in its mouth. Holding its mouth open, the fish started thrashing about trying to get away, but Gohana just kicked her feet to get them to the surface.

Sharpner just watched the water in surprise, Gohana having gone under just a few moments before hand. He really had no clue about what to do, so he just decided to relax and enjoy the area's beauty. Finding a large boulder he could easily climb up onto, he made his way to it and leaned against it. Looking around, he noticed the birds all over the place, mostly smaller ones. Which was good because while he didn't know much about the history of this place, he did know this place was home to dinosaurs and other dangerous creatures.

Suddenly realizing that it had been a good amount of time since Gohana surfaced for air, he stared more at the water. Then again she grew up here, and he had seen her run and swim just fine so maybe she was able to hold her breath pretty well. He had heard of that happening, and if she just swam to catch fish then surely she must be able to hold her breath under water.

A sudden amount of bubbles started appearing at the surface and it looked like something was thrashing around under water. Sharpner's heart nearly stopped as he suddenly feared the worse and started to make his way into the water. He suddenly stopped and tried to look around for anything that he could use for, well he wasn't even sure what. He didn't even know what to do, and he was just sitting there panicking.

"Gohana! Holy shit what do I do?" Sharpner stood in knee deep water, holding his head and becoming paranoid.

A massive surge of water shot up and a fish suddenly was flying in the air, causing Sharpner to fall back in surprise into the water. He saw the fish land hard onto the grass at the lake bed, and even left a good indentation where it landed. It wouldn't stop flailing around and Sharpner just staying planted on his ass in the water, and only took his eye off the fish when Gohana was just casually walking past him. Getting to the water's edge, Gohana grabbed a branch from a tree. Sharpner had no idea what she planned to do with the stick but he soon found out as Gohana quickly and easily thrust the branch through the fish's eye. The fish flailed for about another second and almost immediately stopped all movement. Pulling the stick from the fish, Gohana just threw the branch back into the water behind her. Walking back over to Sharpner, who still hadn't moved at all, she offered her a hand to help him up.

"I take it that isn't how you fish, huh?" Gohana flatly said more as a statement than anything.

Taking her hand, Sharpner stood up with her help and just looked back at the fish in surprise. The fish had not moved since Gohana killed it, but it was so weird seeing Gohana, who normally was super gentle, kill something. Then again it was for food, and she did mention earlier that they hunted for some food.

"Hey you in there?" Gohana asked waving her hand in front of his face.

"Huh? Oh yeah. Damn Gohana how the hell did you learn to fish?" he more shouted than asked.

"Hmm, well you can't expect me to catch a fish that big with a normal fishing pole." Gohana said and started making her way to the fish, Sharpner closely in tow.

"So that explains why the outfit." Sharpner said, now staring at her body, still wet and glistening in the sunlight and blushed a bit.

Getting to the fish, Gohana just grabbed the tail and was about to start walking with it when Sharpner quickly caught up to her and took her hand off.

"Hey you caught dinner, the least I could do is try to carry it back." Sharpner offered to which Gohana just shrugged it off and started walking.

"Sorry if I worried you by the way. Sometimes fish like that can get pretty violent. They are usually the prime hunters in this area. Although they usually stay…" Gohana looked right behind her and noticed that Sharpner wasn't there. Looking back to where she walked from just a moment ago, she saw Sharpner struggling to even budge the fish. Walking back she just stood there and stared at Sharpner who suddenly noticed she was starring and just blushed a bit.

"Maybe uh, you should carry the fish." He said, realizing there was no way he could budge the fish.

Grabbing the fish by the tail, Gohana just pulled her arm closer to her causing the fish to suddenly be draped over her shoulder. Gohana just started walking again dragging the fish and Sharpner just stared in slight shock. He had slowly learned that she was stronger than he was, probably even stronger than even Videl. But he couldn't even budge the fish and Gohana just casually walks away with it. Quickly catching up to her, he had to know something.

"So is this why you're so strong?" he asked once he caught up to her.

"Uhhh, sure." Gohana just said trying to avoid the issue. She really didn't want to have to explain this a third time, assuming she told Sharpner everything now and then needing to again to Videl later. She preferred to just have to tell Videl and Sharpner together.

"Well that makes sense actually. If you grew up moving things like this, that would make you incredibly powerful! From the legends, isn't Master Roshi's training something similar?

"My dad trained me, as did my first teacher who was my dad's rival. Also my Godfather, so I wouldn't know." Gohana deflected the question.

"You're Godfather? Well your father is Son Goku so who's your Godfather? If they both were trained by him then… "

"Wait, you know my dad?" Gohana had stopped and interrupted Sharpner, looking a bit shocked at him.

"You're kidding me right Gohana?" Sharpner asked now confused. "You're a powerful martial artist, your last name is Son, and yeah Videl had her suspicions as did I. But in one of the pictures in the house I recognized a picture of him. And your wild hair, plus your brother looks identical to him. So it just confirmed. I just never asked because I knew your issues about talking about him."

Gohana just stood there and stared at him. She never really saw him be all that smart, he was constantly asking for help with just about everything. Granted he wasn't dumb, so why was it surprising her so much that he knew her father? Then again he was a martial arts legend, almost just like Master Roshi so this shouldn't surprise her in the least.

"So if you knew who my dad was why didn't you ever ask?"

"Uh, because the day we all met you had a mental break down over your dad's death. Why on Earth would I bring it up randomly? Like it just did now." Sharpner's voice started trailing downward realizing he never brought her dad up before because she felt she killed him, only to suddenly bring him up.

"Oh well yeah I guess that's a good point." Said without any hint of sadness.

"So isn't Master Roshi's training similar? I mean your dad was a student of his after all." Sharpner continued felling it was fine from the tone of her last answer.

Gohana just started walking and didn't really want to have this conversation right now. It was bad enough she was forced to explain to Erasa earlier this week, but now Sharpner was putting things together. Sharpner caught up with her but walked a few feet back from her. He was now worried he brought up something that he shouldn't have and he didn't know what to say. Even if she wasn't a typical girl, he still was slightly worried about her in the wrong mood. Or in general for that matter seeing how strong she was pulling this fish.

"Yes, my dad as well as my Godfather both trained under him. But they both trained me so doing his training is pointless for me." Gohana flatly said without looking back at him.

Sharpner didn't know what to say about this but his mind was racing around like crazy trying to think of something to follow up on but he was stopped from almost running right into Gohana who had suddenly stopped.

"Sharpner, please don't mention this to Videl alright? I don't even want to tell you right now, I just don't know if I'm ready." She said staring right at him.

"Huh, Videl? Um, okay?" Sharpner said confused. He had no clue what type of secrets she could be hiding but he just sighed. "Look Gohana, you're my friend but that doesn't mean I'm suddenly entitled to know every dirty secret you have. Can I just ask that you tell me everything when you're ready?"

"Thanks." Gohana said and then just tilted her head slightly in confusion. "You know, you're pretty chill with this." She said rather confused now.

"Hey when you grow up with Videl and her father, you learn pretty quickly not only to keep secrets but that sometimes even her close friends know everything one another. I'm partially used to it to be honest. But I trust you so I'll respect your wishes, just like I do with Videl." Sharpner said.

"Thanks Sharpy." Gohana said and started walking, and Sharpner walked along side her. "Now let's hurry up, I'm hungry and mom will want to get this started." She said walking a tad faster.

The stars were now out very clearly as the moon light the area all around. It was very easy to see just about everything due to how bright it was and the light was shining through Gohana's window strongly. After a rather large dinner, Videl and Erasa had no problem falling asleep pretty quickly. She guessed that was normal to fall asleep on sleep over's, but she didn't mind much. She was pretty tired herself but she just couldn't fall asleep just yet. Her mother had spent a good amount of time at dinner embarrassing her, trying to get Sharpner to notice her. Although this time Sharpner knew what was up and he didn't really go with it very much.

He looked up and saw Videl and Erasa asleep on her bed, easily able to hold them both. She had insisted that they take the bed and she sleep on the floor as they were her guests. Sharpner was stuck sleeping downstairs, which was a little bit odd seeing how hard her mom had tried to get him to notice her. Still, they were going to be sleeping outside the next few nights once they got a good showing around just in case.

Unable to sleep, Gohana just got up and headed on downstairs. She tried saying as quiet as she could and was able to get downstairs and to the kitchen without waking up anyone. She did find it funny seeing Sharpner passed out on the couch the way he was, on arm and leg hanging off and his other leg up against the back of the couch.

Opening the fridge Gohana grabbed some milk and some dark chocolate powder they had, and went over to their water heater. She poured some milk into it and scooped in two scoops of powder and set it on. Sitting there waiting for her hot chocolate to finish, she noticed that Goten was standing at the doorway.

"Oh hey squirt, can't sleep?" Gohana softly said.

"Mmmm, no. I'm not used to having other people here. I can't sleep well." He said and walked over to the table Gohana was at and hopped onto a chair, resting his arms on the table and his head on his arms.

"So what do you think of my friends anyway?" Gohana asked, now having some alone time with him. It really did mean a lot how they felt towards them.

"I like Videl!" Goten answered happily.

"Huh, just Videl? What about Sharpner and Erasa?"

"Well they're really nice as well, and I guess I like them too. But I like Videl the best." Goten answered back.

"What about Videl do you like the most?" Gohana asked both curious and confused.

"Well she's strong just like you! Although nothing like you are. She also is really nice. When we went to your school when you got in trouble Videl made me feel better." Goten tried to answer. "Hey can she be my big sister as well?" Goten asked.

"Huh, you're that comfortable around Videl?"

"Yeah."

Gohana just looked at Goten a little surprised. Between him and Raina, they were both very shy around everyone outside the family. Goten was even worse, and any time he had to interact to anyone else he always become super shy. But the more she thought about it, most of the day he was playing with Videl.

Hearing the slight ding from the water heater, she went over and opened the cover, pouring the hot coco into a cup right next to it. Grabbing it and sitting back down in front of Goten, she took a sip and then noticed Goten staring at it. She handed it over to him and he happily took a few big gulps before handing it back. She saw that half the cup was already gone but she just smiled and took another sip for herself.

"Well, I'm really glad that you like my friends." Gohana smiled.

"I wish mom would let me go camping with you all tomorrow." Goten said a little sad.

"Will go camping next week, just you and me then squirt." Gohana smiled, and Goten just smiled and chuckled happily to himself. "Now let's get back to bed alright?" Gohana said standing up.

Goten got up quietly as well and the two of them silently walked back upstairs. Goten's room was a bit more down the hall but Gohana went with him. Ruffling his hair, she gave him a good night hug and went back to her room. Getting back to her room, Gohana saw Erasa and Videl still asleep on her bed. Sitting on her make shift bed, Gohana just sipped her hot coco and looked at Videl. Goten did seem very happy around her and not too shy. In fact she was the first person she had ever seen him actually be himself around. He was a tad shy around Erasa and Sharpner still, but not her.

Finishing her hot coco, she just set the cup on the floor out of her reach and laid back down. The hot coco really did help her get a tad drowsy, as it always had since she was only three. Yawning softly, she stretched her legs and feet out, pointing her feet as well as her entire body trembled softly as her muscles all relaxed. Fully relaxed now, Gohana just laid there and closed her eyes and before long she was asleep herself.

Well guys, I hope that you enjoyed this chapter! the next chapter should not be so long. I'll have some more free time next few weeks.
