High School
New Orleans, Louisiana
May 2011
Hayleyhad begged Jackson to let her go to the Coach's office alone. She knew he was worried about her, but she was a Crescent and had faced much worse than another few licks. However, it was true that she was more than a little nervous at facing the Coach's paddle again. She sensed that the older werewolf had gone easy on her the first time she caught her misbehaving. This time, Hayley had directly disobeyed her by leaving school during the day instead of waiting until they could explore the old hospital property together.
Hayley knocked lightly and a booming voice called, "It's open."
Hayley opened the metal door and entered the cramped athletic office.
"Oh, so you are gracing us with your presence today, Hayley?" Coach Cormier snapped sarcastically. She was a tall, broad woman, with a plain, but open face. She had reddish hair pinned back in a severe bun. Coach wore glasses and her eyes were sharp with disapproval. Her whistle and lanyard hung over her flat chest. Hayley felt regret wash over her. She could have waited a couple of more days. Damn her impatience.
Hayley flushed in shame before trying to explain. "Look, Coach. I'm sorry. I should have waited for you, like you asked me, too. But there are a lot of kids out there who need a home. Many of those kids are werewolves, like us."
Coach's eyes sparkled with amusement. "You know I don't appreciate lame excuses, young lady. I was planning to accompany you to the building. Like we talked about, I want to be apart of this. I think it is a wonderful idea. However, I spoke to Mary on the phone. She's quite a woman and has some firm ideas of how young people should behave properly."
Hayley looked up. She said softly, "Mary is pretty amazing. She took me in when I had no where else to go. I suppose she gave you permission to paddle me."
"Yes, she did. She cares a lot about you. We spoke for a good while. I promised her that I would help with this new school and I would take care of you," Coach Cormier vowed. "You aren't grown up yet."
"Yes, I am. I'm 18 and an adult," Hayley bristled.
"Girl, you are a baby. You need help and guidance, just like we all do at your age. Don't try to grow up too quickly. Someday, God willing, you will be talking to youngsters the way I am speaking to you. We all need a hand from time to time. Sometimes on the backside, so to speak! Shall we get your punishment out of the way?" Coach asked directly.
Hayley realized that she was screwed. If Mary and the Coach were united and going to help her with her school, she had no choice but to bow to their authority. Plus, she had betrayed the coach's trust for no real reason except she wanted to.
"Yes, ma'am. I guess I do have a tendency to not think things through. Over the desk again?" Hayley asked in a low voice.
"No, I may not have had any wolf babies of my own, but I have have helped raised many a wild, little pup. I have a special paddle for them," Coach shared. Hayley glanced back behind her. Was anyone in the dressing room?
"Don't worry about that. I am off duty first hour. If any other girls are waiting there, it's because they are getting their butt's busted, too," Coach informed Hayley, as she went into her battered army green metal desk and fished out a round wooden paddle. It was larger than a table tennis racquet.
"You're going to spank me with that? It looks fine for a little kid," Hayley argued.
"Oh, this is treated with wolfsbane. My own dear parents used to spank us with this and believe me, it did the trick. Now, jeans and panties down," Coach demanded.
Hayley paled, "But, b-but, you a-aren't a-allowed to do that!"
"Mary gave me special permission to paddle you good. I know how fast you'll heal. Now, if I have to wrestle down your pants, I will spank you again for disobeying me," Coach Cormier said evenly.
Hayley frowned and unbuttoned and unzipped her snug jeans. She wiggled them down and then looked helplessly at the coach, who seemed unconcerned about her plight. Hayley groaned and slipped down her pale pink underpants to her thighs. She made a mental point to make sure Ollie never heard about his part. Hayley flushed deeper, but dutifully stumbled over to where the coach had sat, after pulling back her armless desk chair.
"Can't I just bend over?" Hayley tried again. Coach reached over and lowered her jeans and panties further to her knees.
"No, you are going over my lap. If you didn't like it, you shouldn't have skipped. A suspension at this point in the year might prevent you from graduating," Coach said, patting her lap. Hayley stood on the coach's left and let her push her over her large thighs. Her palms rested on the cold tile and her feet were lifted into the air. Hayley grunted and tried to scoot off, but the Coach's arm clamped over her back. Then, Hayley felt the wooden paddle tap her naked rear. A slight warmth appeared. That must be the wolfsbane!
"Are you ready?" Coach asked. Tap. Tap.
Hayley whined, "Not really."
Pop!
Hayley's legs stiffened as she heard the loud whack and then felt a hot sensation on her bared rear end.
Pop!
Hayley grunted a loud, "Ah!" She kicked and tried to reach back but didn't want her face to hit the ground. It burned.
Pop!
Hayley's vision blurred as hot tears fell on the floor. The third smack made her cry out and try to kick out the hotness she felt.
Pop! Pop! Pop!
Now the paddle swats were coming faster and her tears were, too. Hayley tried to bicycle her legs but nothing stopped the spanking.
Pop! Pop! Pop!
She pounded her fists on the floor as her bum was roasted, but it did no good.
Pop! Pop! Pop!
The coach only paused to let the paddle rest briefly on her bottom before giving her a firm swat. Then, another, and another.
Pop! Pop! Pop!
Soon, Hayley was wailing, scissoring her legs, and wiggling as much as she could.
Pop! Pop! Pop!
Pop! Pop! Pop!
Hayley's butt was ablaze. She gave us trying to escape and just sobbed pitifully. It was only a minute or two later, when she realizing the paddling was over. Coach was rubbing her behind with her large hand and murmuring to her. Hayley tried to push off the Coach's lap and got spanked for her effort.
Smack! Smack!
Smack! Smack!
Hayley sobbed louder, "I'm sorry! I will listen to you!"
Smack! Smack!
Smack! Smack!
Coach was spanking her much lighter, but each smack stung over her paddled bottom.
"You will or you will end up right here over my lap again, young lady!" Coach promised. She gave her a few solid whacks on her sit spots and then one last hard spank over both cheeks.
Smack! Smack!
Smack! Smack!
Whack!
Hayley now realized she had kicked off her jeans and her panties at some point. Now, Coach lifted her and sat her on her lap.
"You needed that," Coach intoned. Hayley whined as her sore bottom rested on the large woman's thigh, but she accepted the offered hug. She was grateful the coach had given her a handkerchief to blow her nose.
"I guess I d-did," Hayley confessed. "No one e-ever really c-cared about what I did before."
"Well, if you open this school. You will have a whole bunch of people depending on you. You can't just run off and do what you want. I will help you, but if I think you need a paddling, I reserve my right to administer one. Those are my terms," Coach Cormier stated calmly.
Hayley reached back and felt her throbbing cheeks. "Yes, ma'am. This was very effective. I'd be honored if you would join us. Um, you and your paddle," Hayley affirmed.
Coach grinned and pulled her in tightly for an embrace, "Mary said you were a very special wolf. I believe she is right. If we do this correctly, we can help a lot of people. Now, you best get dressed and get to class. Come here on your lunch and we'll work out more of the details."
"Yes, ma'am," Hayley said respectfully. "Um, how am I supposed to sit today. That wolfsbane really burns."
"Carefully. Every time you sit, you remember why you got the paddle. Running off half-cocked and not listening to your elders are two reasons, but not all. We are here to help you and provide assistance. You got that?" Coach asked.
"Yes, Coach. You really have a way of pounding in the truth into a girl," Hayley admitted ruefully. "I guess I am too stubborn and sometimes think I have all the answers. But I know with this home, I will need to listen and get a lot of help."
She very carefully pulled up her retrieved panties and tight jeans. Hayley's bottom was hot and stung, but she somehow felt better. More mature, more capable. With the Coach's support, she was one step closer to opening her school. But God help those kids who didn't follow the rules...
Louisiana Bayou
Mary's House
Hayley had come home from school excited about her plans to open her school. She shared with Mary her plans to include Coach Cormier and purchase the old hospital, pending Marcel's approval.
Ollie noticed Hayley squirming a little at dinner, but hid his smile. He had to admit that no one was more enthusiastic about helping wolves than Hayley. If it wasn't for Mary, he would also be living on there on his own.
After supper, it was Ollie's night to wash the dishes and clean up. Jack stayed to help him dry.
Tossing the damp dish towel over Ollie's shoulder, Jack said he was going to tend to the traps and see if they caught anything.
"No, bro, I got it tonight," Ollie assured him. He lowered his voice. "You just take care of your girl. You best put some healing salve on her backside."
Jackson thanked him and went to look after Hayley.
Ollie didn't need a flashlight to see in the dusk of the Bayou. The sun was setting and the frogs were croaking as he approached the first trap. It was empty. He refilled the bait and moved on to the second one. Ollie wondered if Tommy thought of them. He heard that the boy was living high on the hog in a big, fancy mansion now. How could anyone leave this? City folk could have all the things in the world, but for Ollie, the real riches were the Bayou. It was beautiful and alive. A wolf's paradise.
Ollie was so deep in his thoughts, he almost stepped on a small snake.
"Dag viper! Watch yourself," Ollie cursed. Then, he laughed at his own foolishness. Wasn't the snake's fault.
"B-bbbe c-carful, C-Chris!" Oliver thought he heard a female voice stutter for maybe twenty yards away. He paused to listen. Then, he heard a roar. What was that? A mountain lion? No, he listened again. It was a bear.
Ollie dropped his bag of bait and started to run. Louisiana black bears were found mainly along the Mississippi River Valley, but he had seen a few with his own eyes more than once. They were only aggressive if someone was near one of their young. Ollie thought he heard Aiden call them Ursus americanus luteolus.
Ollie saw the little boy first. He looked to be about four with brown hair and pale skin that almost glowed in the dusk. In front of him, brandishing a small stick was a slender girl. She also had brown hair, but hers was long and almost reached her waist. As Ollie approached he got behind the bear and the girl's terrified eyes met his. Ollie was stunned, her eyes were almost violet in color.
The bear made a sound and Ollie pushed the kids back. The bear was huge and nervous, Ollie could smell fear on it. He heard some branches break behind them. Yup, they were right in between the mama and her cubs. They needed to get to the left on the path.
Ollie regained his senses, "Miss, drop the stick and back away. Don't look it in the eye. I think this mama bear got cubs near by. Follow my lead!"
"O-O-Okay," the beautiful girl stammered. She looked to be around Ollie's age. Maybe a little younger.
Ollie pulled them to the left and backed up with the younger kids behind him. Almost clear.
"We ain't gonna hurt your babies. Y'all get on out of here," Ollie murmured calmly. "Miss, let's step back here on the path...To the left."
"T-thanks," The girl breathed, when the bear turned and lumbered away towards its cubs.
Ollie guided them a long way down the path a bit before turning to the children.
"Damn, that was awful close! Y'all okay? Miss? Hey bud, what's your name?" Ollie said, relieved that the bear had left the area with its cubs. He sniffed the air, but there was no sign of it.
"I-I'm E-Emily. This i-issss my b-b-brother, C-Chris. He d-don't t-alk," Emily stammered, now clutching her brother by the shoulders. "I t-think the bear r-r-ripped up all of o-our t-things. Now w-we g-got nothing."
"Hiya. I reckon it's nice to meet ya. I'm Ollie. I live up yonder," Oliver said, he couldn't pull his eyes from the girls. They were the deepest blue-purple color ever. She looked like a princess to him.
Emily hugged Chris tighter, "H-he's s-scared. H-he c-can't be w-without me. O-Our f-folks d-died in a f-fire. We've b-been living o-out here."
"In the Bayou?" Ollie asked in shock. "Is that why you are all bit up? Miss, let me take you home to my grandma. She has a healing salve. I think some of your brother's bites are infected. Don't worry about your stuff. We ain't got a lot, but we have enough. We'll take care of you."
Emily nodded her thanks and tried to pick up Chris. She stumbled and Ollie easily hefted the small boy on his shoulders.
"Chris, I got ya. You just hold on to me, okay?" Ollie comforted the little boy. He was rewarded but a bright and relieved smiled out of Emily. She sure was pretty.
Ollie met Jackson on his way back. "Ollie, you were gone too long. I got worried. Hello, who are y'all?"
Ollie introduced them and Jackson shook Emily's hand.
"Come on back, we'll get you folks something to eat. Hope you like gumbo," Jackson joked. "And crayfish."
Emily smiled shyly and Chris giggled. Emily looked up in surprise.
"He a-ain't l-laughed in w-weeks," she reported.
"Well, we'll aim to change that," Ollie said. "Come on, these bugs are started to feast on us. Let's get you inside."
Jackson opened the door and called for Mary. He let Emily and then Ollie, with Chris still on his shoulders in, then Jackson made sure the screen door was firmly shut. The critters were hungry tonight.
