I accidentally deleted this chapter, twice and had to write it from scratch each time. Sorry for the delay guys
Gohana say at the kitchen table sipping the hot chocolate Bulma had made for her and Trunks. She was busy looking at the schematics that gave the overview of Bulma's new project. She had to admit it was very ambitious, but she easily saw the problem.
Bulma could easily build an artificial nervous system, the problem was translating and sending the info between the artificial and natural systems. It was very rare for them both, but neither had any idea how to accomplish a flawless transition.
"So what do you think?" Bulma asked.
"Well to be honest, I'm lost on this one. I didn't even know you were working on this."
"It's a commission job we secured. To be honest they wanted us to do it, but they had a few better offers. Still choose to take on the jobin the end."
"Wait, then why did you take it?" Gohana asked a little confused.
"Because the blueprints we have of the androids. I already had a base to start with. So I knew we could get their product out far faster than starting from scratch."
"That makes sense then. So for now you just have to figure out how to get the two types to work together." Gohana confirmed with her looking back down at the papers.
"Yup, got it just this morning so no rush at least. The blueprints for 16 already had a rudimentary nervous system, so part of it is already taken care of." Bulma sipped her tea with a smile.
"If you cant figure it out mom, why not just use the Dragonballs to make it?" Trunks finally piped into the conversation, not understanding why they were making it so difficult.
Bulma couldn't help but laugh at how innocent of an answer that was. Though she had to admit it was a good solution in a way, but not a practical one.
"Trunks, we can't just use Shenron for something like that." Gohana sighed a bit.
"Why not?" Trunks asked confused.
"It just doesn't work that way sweety. You'll understand when your older." Bulma ruffled his hair.
Gohana finished her hot coco and then stood up. She didn't really need to explain where she was going, Bulma was already pretty sure where she was headed off.
The med pods were not too close to the kitchen, Gohana ran into a few of the office workers. Not many knew her personally, but just about everyone recognized her. They either knew her as the sparring partner to Vegeta, so dont mess with her. As their boss as Gohana did run a smaller group with someone else also as acting boss. Very few knew she was the God daughter to Bulma Briefs though.
Pulling out her phone, she checked the time. Perfect, it was between classes so she could call. Dialing Erasa's number she hoped she would pick up the phone.
"Gohana, oh my gosh whats happening? Is Sharpner alright?" Erasa was literally yelling loud enough that Gohana had to hold the phone away from her ear a few inches.
"Not so loud Erasa. And yes, he will be alright. He's in a...well...he's in a med pod." Gohana sighed having her instinct make something up start to take over befre ahe caught herself.
"Listen I'll explain more in person when you and Videl get here. After school..." Gohana paused for a moment. "Just come to Capsule Corp and I'll,"
"You're at Capsule Corp!?"
Gohana barely got the phone away from her ear fast enough to get her phone away from her ear. Erasa screamed so loudly the person passing her could clearly hear Erasa over the phone.
"Yes, and will you keep it down! That really hurts my ear." Gohana asked rubbering her ear as she swapped the phone to her other ear
"I'll explain in person just come over and ask for me when you get here."
"Okay Gohana, i trust you but...Is Sharpner alright?" she couldn't hide the worry in her voice.
"He will be fine, I promise you. See you both soon." And hung up.
With that now out of the way, Gohana now just needed to try and figure out what exatly Jake and his father did to Sharpner, and attempted on her. But it was something she wasn't familiar with at all. She had to figure it out though, she knew a place she could potentially start.
Sitting silently in the center of the chamber with his arms crossed, Vegeta continued to try and focus. This had become a more of a norm for his training lately, but he was slowly losing his patience for it. He still had no idea how he convinced himself to even do it in the first place.
"Damn it!"
Slamming his hands down on the floor, Vegeta stood up and the look on his face would have killed.
"Why can't I get this? That brat figured it out all on her own. She practically gave it to me on a silver platter and I still can't get it!"
Needing to let off some steam, Vegeta walked over to the console and set it up to its max.
"Now going to five hundred times Earth gravity" a synthetic voice echoed through the camber before the typical hum overtook the chamber.
The gravity quickly started climbing, and eventually Vegeta had a hard time standing comfortably. By the time the full amount of gravity took effect, Vegeta was struggling to stand, and before he felt like he would fall from the lack of strength, he went Super Saiyan.
"Now this is more like it." Vegeta smirked to himself as he struggled to even walk properly.
Trying to move quickly, Vegeta was barely able to move all that fast. He had never gone higher than four hundred and fifty before now. And without going Super Saiyan in that amount it was a challenge far more than he even thought it would be. Determined to not let the gravity beat him, Vegeta refused to lower the gravity. He would do what he had to to beat Gohana.
For a short time, Vegeta continued to struggle doing some basic push ups and sit ups, the gravity starting to really take its toll on him. He knew this was what he needed to be at.
'I'll finally beat you Gohana.'
The door to the chamber slid open suddenly and Vegeta had no idea who would be stupid enough to even enter the chamber in general, let alone the warning sign saying it was in use.
"Hey Vegeta I need so, aaahhh."
Not expecting the intense gravity, Gohana took one step into the chamber and her forward momentum, combined with the extreme gravity, caused Gohana to fall forward. Catching herself with her hands, Gohana struggled and then get back on her feet and stand up, though it was clear she was having a hard time.
"Damn Vegeta, I didn't know you were here yet." Gohana half praised him but noticed he was actually stuck on the floor, barely able to hold himself up on his arm and leg.
"What...do you...want brat?" Vegeta struggled to get out, still not recovered from his training and still out of breath.
"Well I needed your advice on something with your experience fighting different races with different abilities." as she walked over to him with visible struggle.
This threw Vegeta off a bit. She had never expressed interest in his time before he had come to Earth, what would she need from him. Walking over to him, Gohana squated down so she was eye level with him.
"Something happed at school today, one of the students, and his father, both tried to kill me using some kind of ki technique i don't know. I need to know if you have any knowledge about different types of ki manipulation techniques different to ours."
"You're going to have to do better than that, start explaining anything." Vegeta managed to stand up so he would be above her.
Standing up with some difficulty, Gohana looked very seriously at him with her arms crossed.
"It's hard to explain. It didn't manifest itself physically like ours does. But both of them delivered a simple palm strike at my abdomen, below my ribs. And there was a subtle sensation of energy rushing in." She started to explain.
Vegeta was, however, actually listening intently. To think a measly human could even try anything to kill her, and actually worry her? Something wasnt right and his pride started taking the better of him. but try as he might, he couldn't think of anything in all of his years of fighting in space an ability like that. Sure he had fought 'races with interesting ki abilities, but none that were invisible.
"Sorry to say brat, but I don't know of anything that fits that description at all." Vegit scoffed at her. "Now if you don't mind, if you have nothing else to say then leave. I have to continue training." Vegeta scoffed down at her, still struggling to even stand up.
"Sure, sounds good. I need to think of what to do when my friends get here anyway." Gohana nodded.
"More friends? So, it didn't take very long for your secret to be spilled. Given how hard you worked to keep it hidden. Pathetic." Vegeta huffed.
"Oh, shut up Vegeta! It's not like I planned for it to happen, it just happened. Anyway,
"Fine, whatever. Now get out of my Gravity chamber!" Vegeta yelled as just standing there struggling to even to do, was a waste of time and energy as far as he was concerned.
Gohana happily obliged and turned around and stormed out of the gravity chamber, not really bothering to try to be graceful. Vegeta, however, just glared at her as she walked away. She had barely gone a month at school and already she was found out. He probably should have asked how they found out so that he could rub it in her face later. Still, he had more important things to do right now, namely continue training in Five hundred times gravity. Though a sudden realization hit him, and he glanced at the center console to double check something. It still said five hundred, clear as day. And he was struggling just to stand in his Super Saiyan state, he knew he would have been flattened had he not transfromed. But Gohana just got annoyed with it and continued to walk around, even crossing her arms.
'What the hell? Just how much power has that brat been hiding?' Vegeta thought to himself, unaware of the surprise and shock in his face.
Gohana kept walking through the halls of Capsule Corp deep in thought. She couldn't get earlier out of her head with Jake and his father, and she was desperately trying to figure out just what they had tried. It was clear from her fight with Mr. Sakito earlier that he couldn't manifest his ki like she couldn't, but it was clear he was able to use it. It was a killing technique, or at least an attempt of a killing technique, but it seemed to be a more subtle way that an assassin would want to use than anything else. But she didn't know of any types of abilities like that. Thought if she was honest with herself, it wasn't herself that she was worried about, it was Sharpner and Videl that she was worried about. She had to figure out a way to help them not have to worry about it. But she wasn't even sure how she herself wasn't even effected by it. Maybe her energy was just too strong?
Needing to clear her had a little bit, she headed towards her office. If she couldn't figure this out, then she may as well keep her mind occupied for the time being and continue her work. She gets paid to do so, and she's already at work anyway. Sitting down at her desk, Gohana stretched her arms and legs to get some tension out of them. She had been too tense the last several hours. Opening up her desk she pulled out the files for the new project that Bulma had given her to look over before it goes into prototyping, instantly recognizing it as the jet propulsion blueprint she helped her with a little while back. Flipping through the pages of notes, she looked at the blueprint and noticed she had already redone the entire schematics with the tips that she had pointed out to Bulma.
"Hmm, well the efficiency is definitely higher now."
Turning the pages, Gohana kept double checking the notes and the schematics for everything. Realizing she wasn't too familiar with the current standard that was used, Gohana pulled up the current models blueprints on her computer and glanced over them. They were pretty similar but there were quiet a few key differences with the upgraded design that Bulma was working on. This did explain why Bulma was working really hard on it and had asked for her help. Still, looking at the full schematics now, it did make more sense. Everything was experimental at the moment, and possible in just theory.
Losing track of time Gohana continued to make notes and check the work Bulma had written out with herself and her team. Gohana was careful to make sure that everything looked good, even checking the math behind everything. She was so engrossed into her work that she nearly jumped out of her seat when her phone rang.
"Um, yes?" she asnwered after pressing the button to put it through the speaker.
"Mrs. Son, would you come to the front of the guest entrance please? There are two young ladies here claiming to know you and someone you brought."
"Yeah, I'll be right there." Gohana answered and quickly cleaned up everything.
"Alright, she said she will be a moment. May I ask you take a seat and wait until she arrives?"
"But you've already wasted so much time on the phone! My friend could be in a lot of pain." Erasa tried to reason with her. She was a lot better than when she first even walked in, she had been hysterical. To the point the receptionist almost refused to even try calling for Gohana.
"Erasa, calm down. Gohana said that Sharpner was fine, right? I trust her. Let's just sit and wait for her, alright?" videl tried to comfort her friend.
Erasa, holding back a few tears, turned back to the receptionist and bowed. "I appologize for my behavior ma'am."
"It's alright, Mrs. Son should be here soon."
Sitting down on the couch, Videl noticed the worry in Erasa's face. It was hard to hide it, but even Videl could pick up that Erasa had feelings for Sharpner. Not that Erasa ever really even mentioned it to her, but she could pick it up on her own. In any other situation, she would have tried to comfort her friend far more, but right now, knowing Gohana and the fact she had brought him here instead of a hospital, She just put her complete trust in Gohana.
Looking to the table in front of them, she noticed a neat pile of magazines. One of them, had a picture of Gohana, well actually it was Saiyako, and herself. Grabbing the magazine, and having no idea when the picture was even taken, she read the headline.
'The new breed of crime fighting super hero.'
Well at least it had a catchy name to grab people. Flipping to the page in question, Videl recognized some of the photos as a few times when Gohana was taking out people. Many of the pictures though were a bit blurry, or looked like part of Gohana was blurred out. That was probably just her super speed in play, and the camera shutter didn't have time to register. But one that caught her eye was of both of them talking to the Chief of Police.
'Hey, the two of us look pretty good together like that.' Videl thought to herself as she continued to read the article to fill her time.
"Videl, Erasa!"
Looking up, Videl was almost shocked with how fast Erasa moved to Gohana.
"Where is Sharpner! Is he going to be alright?"
"Hey, calm down Erasa." Gohana placed her hands comfortingly on her friends shoulders to help calm her down. "Sharpner is doing just fine. He should be out of the med pod soon actually. Come on I'll take you to him so you can see."
Leading the way through Capsule Corp, Videl and Erasa were sure to stay close and not wonder as this place seemed incredibly massive, far more massive than even Videl's place.
"So, why exactly do you know this place so well?" Videl asked casually.
Stopping and turning around, Gohana rubbed the back of her neck nervously. She still had no idea why she was even nervous telling them this, she already told them she was half alien.
"This is sort of my job. And my second home."
"Wait, you live here? How, but Capsule Corp...the receptionist, she." Videl stammered, having always wanted to come here, and here is Gohana just casually walking through the place.
"The Briefs family are a family friend, and Bulma Briefs is my God Mother."Gohana just stated.
Needless to say both Videl and Erasa were now staring at her in shock. They were somewhat conditioned when she told them about Ki and all of that because of Saiyako, but nothing would have prepared them for what they just heard.
"Anyway Sharpner is just around the corner, he still isn't out of it yet but he should be soon." Gohana said instantly trying to chance the subject and continued to walk.
Erasa stood in front of the pod, a hand on the glass as she looked at her friend inside. She couldn't hide her worry as she cared so much for him, and had no concept of what was even wrong with him earlier. And seeing him in a weird device made her worry a bit more. But she knew she could trust Gohana's judgement above all else.
"So what exactly is this thing anyway?" Videl asked, noticing there were four of them.
"They are called Med Pods. Basically what they do is they heal injuries at an accelerated rate." Gohana answered her.
"Wha? If they do that, how come hospitals don't have these all over the place? Do you know how many lives could be saved from these? Why the hell are they not public knowledge?" Videl got angry all of a sudden, thinking back to all the people that have gotten hurt over the years she had been helping the police, both the bad guys and the innocent bystanders.
"They each cost the same amount as it takes to run an entire hospital, that's why. And that's just to build it, not even counting the liquid inside." Gohana answered.
"So how does this thing work?" Erasa asked looking back, not taking her hand off the pod.
"Well the liquid inside, what's the best way to explain this simply." Gohana thought for a minute how to easily and simply explain alien tech.
"The liquid is a catalyst for cellular regeneration, and the pod emits a frequency that also stimulates it. I guess that is the simplest way I can explain it." gohana tried to make is easy.
"Okay, so if it is so expensive, how did you guys discover it?" Videl asked.
"Oh we didn't. As far as I know its Saiyan technology. Were just reverse engineered it based on some data on it. and some debree from a damaged one." Gohana added, referring to Frieza's ship.
"So you are trying to make it more available, right? You can't just deny people this technology! I can save millions of lives!" Videl spoke up, slightly annoyed to the fact they were hiding it.
"Again, we currently are actually working on it. We have smaller things that make up this hospitals do use. But even they are really expensive and take a lot longer. As i stated, just to build and use the machines are way to expensive because the general tech that runs it is still not widely used in anything in the public space. We're working on solving that though. To be honest we have an entire team working on just that actually. An entire branch. They also work along side the athletic department, and they do actually use the pods for the few athletes."
"Then how come they never spoke about it before then if people in the public have used it?" Videl asked confused.
"Non disclosure agreements. At least until we have a affordable version we can start outfitting hospitals with. Then they are free to talk all they want about it. We're hoping just a couple more years then it would be feasible and cheaper to start getting them into hospitals and into the public. May take another decade until it is more widely usable though." Gohana explained.
"Well that would explain why all the athletes that do get the honor of using Capsule Corps Athletic research department all seem to be way better when they leave." Erasa said.
"Yeah, the pod can even help repair older injuries as well. Adding it to the Gravity chamber they use, which we let them talk about that all they want, and it really works it's magic."
"Gohana, there is still one thing that I'm confused about with all of this." Erasa asked. "What exactly happened to Sharpner? Not knowing has really been difficult all day."
Gohana thought for a moment. She thought Jake was most likely trying to kill him, but she wasn't fully sure. Even then she didn't know what exactly to say to Erasa either. The truth may have bothered her, or scared her even more.
"I'm not fully sure, but I am pretty sure that Jake and his dad tried to kill me somehow earlier. I can't say they tried the same thing on Sharpner though." Gohana asnwered her.
Erasa looked in shock, and kept staring back and forth between Sharpner and Gohana, now also worried about her as well. This was still new to her but also she had no real idea what anything was. She didn't want to learn about ki, but now there was a small part of her that wished she did start. Walking up to the pod, she placed her hand back on the glass and stared at him through the glass.
"How much longer until he is out?"
Walking up to the pod, Gohana hit a button on a screen next to the door and some stats popped up.
"Any minute now actually. To be honest I can actually stop the program right now. Usually the last few minutes are just a reset period." Gohana said and tapped in the command to empty the chamber.
It didn't take long before Sharpner opened up his eyes and looked around the pod, but luckily he didn't panic. He could see his friends through the glass, and knowing Gohana he just figured it would be explained. He wasn't too fond of his cloths all being soaking wet with, whatever this liquid was. But yet again, if he was in there, and Gohana was also there, there must be a reason. Still, it didn't stop him from being any more confused than he was. The door to the pod opened with a hiss after the liquid was drained, and Sharpener took a step out. And only one step, as he suddenly had Erasa wrapped around him.
"Thank goodness you're alright!" she whimpered a little, with a hint of happiness.
"Yeah, I'm alright. Though honestly I feel really great. Even the fatique from these weighted cloths are totally gone, I feel light as a feather." he said and patted her head a bit before looking over and nodding to Videl, then facing Gohana.
"So, what exactly happened? And what is this thing?" Sharpner asked as Erasa gave him some space.
"Jake must have attacked you with a type of ki attack. Both he and his dad tried it on me though it didn't seem to do anything. Though I suspect that if effected you because you're not as strong as me and whatever they were trying worked on you." Gohana explained the first part, then pointed to the pod. "As for that, its a med pod. It heals whoever is in side it. And before you ask, its not publicly available yet due to costs." Gohana added the last part only because she didn't want to have to explain that all again.
"I see, well then thank you Gohana. Though where exactly are we anyway?" He asked looking around.
"You'll never guess!" Erasa said excitedly, not letting his hand go.
"Huh, okay well with Gohana, just expect the unexpected. Or impossible what with her being, a Saiyan was it?" Sharpners voice rose, getting a nod from Gohana.
"Um, Sharpner can I ask you to not freak out when I tell you?" Gohana asked looking a little sheepish and shy.
"You're serious? After everything, what the heck can you tell me now that would surprise me?" Sharpner gave her a tone.
She was still trying to get used to people finding out things about her life. She did mean to eventually tell them, maybe. Though with the rate everything had been doing it just seems like everything was just happening all at once. Still, if she could tell them that she was an alien, why would telling him a simple location even bother her? Why should it?
"You're at Capsule Corp." Gohana answered him, noticing the look on his face as he just looked between all three of them. Though not saying anything.
"Right. Capsule Corp." Sharpner repeated in disbelief.
"I sort of work here. And it's my second home."
Sharpner just nodded, he really had no clue even what to say at that point and decided to just take everything in stride. Besides, last thing he remembered was being in a lot of pain, and smell of blood permeating his nose. And now it was all gone. He was grateful for that at the very least, and decided to not question it further. Not out of respect, though he highly did respect Gohana. But it was mainly due to him just not being able to probably handle much more than that anyway. At least not right now.
"So what now?" Sharpner finally asked.
"Well to be honest, it's pretty obvious I need to take it a bit more serious in getting you both stronger. Just in case something like this happens." Gohana started.
"Come to think of it Gohana, just how strong are you?" Erasa asked her, having not even any concept of how to relate to the strength of even Sharpner or Videl. But Gohana, she would be in an entire other league! Or would it be a different world? Galaxy? Sharpner and Videl were both pretty keen on knowing this as well.
"Um, how strong am I?" Gohana repeated the question and really had to think about it. If any of the others asked her, she could at least give them an idea based on one of the other members. But this was totally different.
"Well, I don't really have a comparison that would make sense to you. I...well." Gohana tried thinking. She knew she was far stronger then even herself when she defeated Cell. By a large margin at that! But beyond that, she couldn't even think of a way to rationalize it for them! She tried to think of something, of anything. But even comparing herself to Frieza or Cell, or anyone else would be a moot point. None of that would mean anything to them.
All three of them could clearly see the difficulty that Gohana was having even answering such a simple question. This left both Videl and Sharpner with a worried, yet shocked expression. To them, the moment anyone asked them that, they could easily tell the person the answer. They lifted, and trained. Sometimes with others, and they always knew where they stood in the gym. That was the reason both of them were highly respected in most of the gyms that they went to. Especially Satan City Gym. The only time someone couldn't tell them how strong they where was those that were not lifters themselves. Yet here was someone vastly stronger then them both combined flabbergasted by such a simple question.
"Hey, um..." Erasa spoke up a bit, oddly enough raising her hand up a bit. All three pairs of eye's were now on her.
"Sharpner, Videl. You both have competed in some weight lifting contests before, right?" she asked, getting a nod from them both.
"Why not just try the same thing with Gohana? That way you guy's could get your answer." she finished her suggestion.
"Erasa, that's brilliant!" Videl exclaimed. Sharpner agreeing as well.
Gohana just stared at them with a confused look on her face. She had no idea what they were talking about but figured to just humor them a little bit.
"Well, Capsule Corp does have a athletic training gym. We can see if anyone is in there." Gohana offered, at least glad she would be able to give them an answer.
"Well what are you waiting for? Lead the way!" Videl nearly yelled out, excited to at the very least be in the world's most advanced training facility.
Having led the trio of them around a little bit, they soon arrived at the facility in question. Opening up the door, Gohana instantly realized that there were still a few people inside. Maybe they would have to come back later maybe? But before she even registered to even say something, Videl and Sharpner were rushing towards everyone. Gohana was a little confused, but turned and noticed that Erasa was still right next to her. Noticing the confused look on her face, Erasa just giggled a bit.
"Oh, come on. It's not every day someone gets to be here. Besides, I don't even watch sports and I know that those two training are the best in Baseball. Well the best team that is. I think they are behind only one other actually. But they are the second and third best in the world." Erasa filled her in.
Gohana had a visible look of 'oh' on her face and started walking towards them. She could easily hear both Videl and Sharpner fanning out over meeting them. Likewise she could even hear the two players excited to meet Videl, her being the daughter of Mr. Satan and all.
"Oh man I can't believe that I get to meet you! The way you were able to slam that full home run in the last game for the win! Oh man that type of stuff gets my blood going!" Sharpner was nearly yelling at the players.
"Hey thanks man. It's always good to meet a fan. And even an honor to meet you as well, Mrs. Satan." he bowed.
"What, no no. Please, just call me Videl. And I don't really mean that much. My dad...he's the one that beat," Videl paused, but then was interrupted.
"Oh I don't mean about your father. I mean about the stuff you do for Satan City. It really means a lot to me, especially since at one point you saved my daughter. I can't thank you enough! You're my hero." he praised her, almost tearing up.
Videl knew that many people thought of her as a hero, but this was very personal and she could tell. She couldn't recall everyone that she saved, no. Short of a few people that were already incredibly well known. But the fact someone was praising her, for her own hard work, really brightened up her day.
"Thank you sir!" Videl said and bowed.
"And who might your two friends be?" the second player asked.
At that, Gohana and Erasa knew they were not in the mix of the conversation. They had been standing a few paces back as they talked, but they now stood forward.
"These are our friends, this is Erasa," who waved, "and this is Gohana." Videl introduced them. "Guys, this is Jeter and Mayes." Videl introduced the two players to Erasa and Gohana.
"Wait, Gohana. Why does that name sound familiar?" Jeter spoke up.
"Huh, wait my name sounds familiar?" Gohana asked totally confused. Short of them working here, or one of the workers mentioning her name, even though they used her family name, why would they know her first name? Or her at all?
"Yeah, I can't place it. But that name is so unique, that I'm sure I've heard it. But I just can't place why." Jeter said, deep in thought.
"What the heck Gohana, how would they know your name? Dear lord just how low key famous are you?" Videl shockingly asked.
"Hey, It's not my fault. I don't even know them at all!" Gohana snapped back a little bit worried now. How exactly did they know her name? Obviously no one would know her name from the Cell games outside her family. But they wouldn't spill that info. Even Vegeta as he was the one who threatened everyone if they did leak it to the world she beat Cell. And her working at Capsule Corp wasn't exactly public knowledge anyway, only because she technically lived here in a way and was their God family. Gohana's brain just couldn't wrap around the idea that they would know her name.
"Wait a minute, I think I got it." Mayes said, hitting the side of his fist into his other palm. "Gohana! Yeah I think I recall Yamcha mentioning that name. When he missed the last game. I could have sworn that's why the name sounds familiar! He was going to your birthday or something like that? You must be pretty important to him, right?"
"Oh, you guy's play with Yamcha?" Gohana's voice picked up a bit, having never meet any of Yamcha's teammates. Mainly because he never mentioned them much to begin with, but she also didn't pry in her friends lives if they didn't share it either. But she was relieved that she know knew how they know her name.
"Oh man, so that's it huh? Wow, Yamcha doesn't talk much about his private life. Not that we blame him. he always leads up to wins, he's an amazing athlete. And a fighter. Contender in the Budokai Tenkaichi back in the day if I recall correctly." Mayes followed up.
"Yeah he is, but." Videl answered, now more focused on Gohana. "Man Gohana, when will we not be surprised by something about you for once?"
"Huh? Um, I guess I don't know. Isn't to odd for me so look at it from my point of view."
"Were about to finish up. Do you guy's need the gym by chance?" Jeter asked.
"Yeah actually. But if you guy's are using it right now, we can come back later. We," Gohana had to quickly think. "have a special pass to come any time we want. What with Videl's dad being Mr. Satan and all." Gohana laughed nervously as she patted Videl's shoulder at the mention of her father.
"Nah, if you and Yamcha are family, I imagine you like to train in private just like him. We can always come back tomorrow anyway." Mayes followed up, picking up his workout bag. "Jeter, your turn for dinner."
"Ah come on man, I got us dinner last night!"
Gohana just watched as the both of them grabbed their stuff and were arguing over food. It only brought to attention that she herself was a little hungry. She only ate a little while ago, but not that much. Only about fifteen servings of food. Still she would be able to handle it for the time being. Turning to her friends, she noticed they were all staring at her.
"What?" she asked confused.
"Seriously Gohana, what the heck? You're the God daughter of Bulma Briefs, you know the worlds most famous baseball player, and the daughter of a Budokai championship." Videl said, and not really following it up with anything else.
"Hey, honestly besides Bulma I don't know who else you would even know. Remember I grew up with them and they are my family, its normal for me to just see them as that. But I don't know the world that well outside of us. So I honestly don't really know." Gohana answered truthfully. "Well, except almost all of them were in the Budokai back in the day. At least some of them." she followed up.
"Besides, didn't we com here for something anyway?" Gohana asked.
"Yeah, you're right. Well then, let's get to it. Shall we?" Sharpner finally spoke up having been speechless almost this entire time once Gohana came into the mix.
