As the Galaxy King headed to Nohr territory, Petra M was brought aboard to recover, and Hapi taken into their ranks.
"Wow… this is… actually a little impressive." Hapi admitted, taking a look around at what floors she could access. "And a whole habitat of strangely adorable creatures." she said.
"It's a lot to take in at first, but you'll get used to the layout in no time." Flamberge said.
"If you say so Bergey, nothing really phases me much these days anymore." Hapi said. "And you know, I wasn't the only Ashen Wolf to come to this realm. The other one who came here was Coco. Still, it's weird seeing Edie, Didi, and the Claudester here together."
"Yeah, we kinda know a bit about how those three ended up fighting." Flamberge said. "They started out as students in their respective houses, but all of a sudden Edelgard decides to up and start a war because she wants to dismantle the crest system and take out the Church of Seiros."
"That is very much the long and short of it, yes." Edelgard said. "However, our missing comrades are a much more dire situation. I cannot proceed with it without them by my side. And if it really is true that they have been brainwashed somehow, then it would seem our mysterious enemy is quite shrewd indeed."
"Honestly I can relate with you about the Church, Edie." Hapi said. "I felt betrayed by them when they relocated me to The Abyss when they said they could fix my curse and couldn't find a cure. Though the curse was because of the magic experiments I went through by a woman."
"I get that you wanna change your world, but did you really have to go about it by resorting to conquering all of Fodlan? Kind of goin' a little far there." Glimmer said.
"It wasn't too far. How could you know if Lady Edlegard's decisions are right?" Monica asked.
"She's not the only one who wanted to solve problems through fighting right as she claimed rulership." Glimmer said.
"I can understand your reasoning. However, the Church of Seiros has kept an iron grip on our land for far too long. Their presence only maintains constant stagnance." Edelgard said. "I am willing to use whatever means necessary to dissolve their grip, even at the cost of my own life."
"People need a ruler." Spade said. "If you, the Empress fall, what will your people do?"
"We totally get you want change, but you gotta ask yourself, is how you want to get it really the best way to do it?" Flamberge asked.
"Lady Edlegard has no need to listen to the words of-" Hubert started.
"No, Hubert, they have a right to state their opinions." Edelgard said. "While I disagree, I will take your words into consideration. For now, however, we must locate our missing comrades."
"She's a tough shell to crack, huh?" Mark whispered.
"Well, you can't be an Empress by appealing to morality." David said.
"Indeed. A few of my comrades can relate." Y'shtola said.
"Hopefully we'll be able to get through to her and see where she went wrong." Hope said. "For now, we'd better continue on our way to Nohr and see what's up there. I bet Xander knows something about any Adrestian forces attacking the Kingdom, so we'll see where he is."
"Well since Xander is ruler, wouldn't he be at Castle Krakenburg?" Azura asked.
"Yeah. Unless he the others were called away to help with invading Empire forces, if they haven't already." Hope said.
"Then perhaps Cyrkensia." Azura said. "It's a town located south of Nohr's borders, it has an Opera House as its key monument. Even during times of war, visitors of nobility from both kingdoms often visit there."
"Near the south border, you say?" Double D said as he brought up a screen. "Okay, coordinates in and…eureka! We have visual contact on Imperial troops."
"Hmm, isn't that…?" Hapi asked, spotting a young woman with blonde hair as she wore a fancy dress with a furry frill as she held a feather tipped folded fan in one hand and a glowing tome in the other. "It's Coco."
"Constance? Of House Nuvelle?" Edelgard asked.
"And it's both good and bad she's not in direct sunlight right now." Hapi said.
"Why? Is she not a morning person or something?" Magnamon asked.
"It's a long story, best you hear it from her after we help her. Though I gotta warn you, her magic is something else." Hapi said. "And it looks like she has a Sacred Relic."
"No doubt. That's the Scroll of Talos." Hubert said.
The group disembarked from the ship onto Cyrkensia to intervene in the fight at the town. Constance then looked to the group as they arrived. "Well well…so it would seem some more soldiers have come to witness the might of House Nuvelle in all its glory. Ohohohoho!" she said.
"Coco, come on. You don't have to do this." Hapi said. "I know you want to restore your house to its former glory, but this isn't the way to go about it."
"Oh…but this is the right way." Constance said. "Fimblevutr!" she said unleashing a powerful ice spell upon them.
"Watch it!" Flamberge said, dispelling the ice attack with her sword. "She's probably in the same state Petra M was."
"I don't think so. I don't really sense that same feeling Petra had." David said.
"Then I guess the only way to get her to stand down is by force. Sorry about this, Hapi." Hope said.
"It's fine, just do what you gotta." Hapi said. "I'm doing all I can to hold in a sigh."
"Then allow me. Time to fight ice with ice." Francisca said.
"Oh, but ice is not all I am capable of. Bolting!" Constance called as lightning came down around her.
"Whoa! Okay, that was a bad idea. This woman is a very strong mage." Francisca said.
"I did warn you guys." Hapi said.
"No worries. We can handle her, I think." David said. "Hmm… I wonder… Why don't we try a little hand-to-hand action."
"What the heck are you… Oh, I get what you're trying to say now!" Scott said as he charged his fist with lightning as he charged at Constance.
"Oh, I see what you're doing." CP nodded. "In that case… we'll force her on to two fronts!" CP said, charging Constance as well, razors in hand.
"You must be joking! Fire!" she said, launching fire at them only for CP and Scott to dodge as they got in close.
"Got you now!" Scott said as he landed a lightning-fueled uppercut.
"Dual Attack! Thunder Leaping Axe!" CP declared as he lept over Scott and hit Constance with an axe kick, bringing her back down to the ground.
"Constance, think about it…if you keep going like this…you'll never restore your house." Hapi said.
"Ah…blast it. You're right. House Nuvelle must come first." Constance said. "Allow me to lend my magical might to your forces, ohohohohoho!"
"Wow, talk about a rush hire…" DW typed.
"Constance, has there been anyone else here besides you?" Hope asked.
"As a matter of fact…" Constance said as lightning zoomed past her and towards the group. "Yes."
"You best stand down." a voice said as standing there was a young woman in red next to a woman in white.
"Dorothea…Professor Manuela…" Edelgard said.
"Wait, one thing to check. Dave, do you sense that muddling Petra had?" Scott asked.
"Yeah…it's present in both of them." David said.
"Good to know. Now we don't have to worry about any surprises." Omnimon said.
"We will not allow you to stop us any further." Manuela said as Dorothea cast another Thunder spell.
"We gotta make this quick. They're both spellcasters so our fists should be plenty." Scott said.
"Alright. Then let's go!" Jude said.
"As if we'd allow you to ruin our performance!" they both said casting lightning as the two avoided it.
"Performance? What's with that?" Jet asked.
"They are songstresses who belonged to the same opera company before all this began." Hubert said.
"Ah, I get it. They're showmen, first and foremost." David said.
"Makes sense they'd be here where an Opera house is located." Hope said before dodging another bolt. "Right, better knock 'em out first!"
"Sorry in advance!" Kendo said as she evaded Dorothea's spells before slamming her to the ground with a Judo takedown.
"Dorothea!" Manuela called out before she was blindsided by both Scott and Jude.
"That should do it." Jude said.
"Yeah. I feel bad about attacking these two, but they didn't leave us a choice." Scott said.
"Hopefully for these two, this encounter will seem as nothing more than a whimsical little dream." Craniamon said.
They returned to the ship after bringing those two back onboard.
"So…it seems that the warriors were sent to specific worlds. From the looks of it…worlds based on Fire Emblem." Sunset said.
"That would make sense. But who would come up with this muddling and why?" David asked.
"Maybe it was this Shez guy." Steven suggested.
"Taking control over multiple skilled and strong-willed individuals and sending them to multiple worlds?" Princess Twilight asked. "Either this Shez person is quite powerful or, more likely…"
"Zenos is setting the stage for him." Mark said. "This whole thing could be an interview of sorts. Seeing if the guy is cut out to be his general."
"We don't even know if this Shez is even a guy yet, but… It could be a possibility. There is so much about this situation we don't know." Leopardmon said.
"The best thing to do now is figure things out as we save the other warriors involved in this multi-world attack." Kendo said.
"So they could be on any of our worlds then." Princess Minerva said.
"Yeah. For all we know all of them are involved in this. Not just Nohr and Hoshido, but Ylisse, Archanea…a lot of them." Pinkie said.
"Hmm…Archanea…maybe Altea…" Dimitri said.
"Do you remember something, Prince Dimitri?" Linde asked.
"Yes…that Archanea you mentioned…I think…I was there before ending up on that ship." Dimitri said.
"Could there be more of your comrades down there?" Mayumi asked.
"Most likely." Rodrigue said. "If forces from the Empire were here in these lands, then it's possible that ours are laying siege to this Archanea land."
"Prince Marth could be dealing with this trouble as we speak." Princess Minerva said. "Maria…"
"I have fought Prince Marth myself. He can hold his own until we get there." Alphamon said.
"Alphamon is right. We should stay here in Hoshido and Nohr territory and be sure we can find any other members of Edelgard's house here." Ichiro said.
"Y-Yes I suppose you're right." Princess Minerva said. "My apologies for my uneasiness."
"By the way, just a little off topic, but… How did you guys know that hand-to-hand combat would work on spellcasters?" Shun'ei asked.
"Truth be told, there's another weapons triangle. Swords defeat axes. Axes defeat spears. And spears defeat swords. However…Brawlers beat mages. Mages beat archers. And archers beat brawlers." Sunset said.
"Really? I have never heard about that one." Tsumugi said.
"Probably because the other worlds didn't have classes that pertain to fistfighting until now." David said.
"B is an example of a Brawler." Hapi said.
"B?" Hope asked.
"She likely means Balthus." Holst said.
"Yes that would be B." Hapi said.
"Anyway…we need to continue the search for warriors. Hopefully we'll be finding more soon." Jexi said.
