After one week Ranma got kicked out from the Tendo home, only then did they regret doing so.
Without Ranma, Happosai doesn't have any resistance when stealing woman's underwear, including the Tendou sisters. And with Happosai running rampant, Taro is not far behind, creating massive damages property that got billed to Nabiki, as that is kinda the Tendou fault that Taro wreaking havoc in Nerima. Ryoga is not always around to help, despite what he promised to Akane. And he is not versatile enough to handle Taro and his cursed form.
Happosai just realized after two weeks passed, that without Ranma as his heir, Musabetsu Kakutō Ryū will die with him, Genma, and Soun. The youngest of Tendou's sisters and the supposed heir of the Tendou style of Musabetsu Kakutō Ryū is not as talented as Ranma and she will never be if she can't control her temper. By then, it's already too late, Ranma, the most talented martial artist in the current generation and the only one that capable of continuing and also teaching his school style, is gone. And the same realization goes to Cologne, who gives the locking ladle's water to Happosai at the first.
Nabiki's cronies and Shampoo spend a few months trying to find him, her at moment, but their search is thwarted by several factors. Although they knew about her general location, which in Namimori, they got stopped by someone before they can enter the prefecture. Namely by a Yakuza group named Ōzora Group and their allies in Namimori. Apparently, Ranma is under their protection from what Nabiki managed to dig. And when Nabiki, her minions, and Shampoo managed to enter Namimori, a group known as Namimori Middle Discipline Committee with a 15-years old boy as their leader stopped their search. And after hearing Ranma's name, his displeasure is displayed quite vividly from his face, leading him and his gang to beat all Nabiki's minions with an injury that is quite severe, but not life-threatening.
He is quite strong, but not as normal Nerima standard for strong. Shampoo is strong in Nerima standard, so she beat him and his gang easily. But, before she and Nabiki minions could ask him anything, he and his gang suddenly disappeared. Only their physical body has become invisible, however, as Shampoo could still sense their Ki. They are still here, but somehow invisible to the naked eyes. Shampoo readied her bonbori.
Just before they could do anything, a hand covered in a bandage stopped Shampoo's chuí from hitting the invisible boy.
Nightmare. There is nothing more fitting than a nightmare. The one that stopped Shampoo's weapon, their body is also covered in a bandage, completed with black leather cloak and floating chain around them. They also wear black top hats and cravats.

Another voice chimed in. A group of seven, consisting of three women and four-man appeared. Two of them, the blonde man and the woman with dark blue hair are wearing military fatigue, complete with rifle, pistol, and other things. The man in a leather jacket has a lip chain and purple hair. He also wears eyeliner and has a teardrop-shaped tattoo under his left eye. He also wears lipstick. Wait a minute, didn't he seem familiar, think Nabiki. One woman with blue hair in a white one-piece dress, in addition to the coat and oversized hat. The man with green hair and sporting a long, white lab coat and glasses. The last woman has purple hair and purple upside-down triangle markings on the cheeks. She wears a black cloak with white stripes on the hood that cover her eyes. And she also floated above the other six. The last one is a man with slightly tanned skin, black spiky hair, and thin curly sideburns. He dons an all-black suit, with a red long-sleeved shirt, a black necktie, and a black fedora with an orange stripe. And at his hand is a pistol, pointed at Shampoo, Nabiki, and her minions.
"You will have to go through us if you want to know about our little sister." The man in an orange striped hat told them.
Shampoo responded with a chuí to the man's face. And the man responded by shooting her directly in the face. The sound of the gunshot has caused Nabiki and her minions to freeze in shock and fear.
"That is your last warning, to you and the rest of Nerima Wrecking Crew. Next time, I'll use the real bullet." The man said, pocketing his pistol in Ki storage. He and the woman cloaked in black nodded to each other, and like the Kyoya and his gang before, the group of seven disappeared, leaving only seemingly dead Shampoo, Nabiki and her minions, and the bandaged being. The bandaged man looked over them for a few seconds, before they also disappeared in a swirl of darkness.
As their shock subsided, they all fall to their knee and sat on the ground. Nabiki goes to check on Shampoo's condition. Before she can check, however,
"She still alive." A feminine voice interrupted her.
A feeling of sleepiness washed over Nabiki and her minions.
One by one, her minions fall onto the ground. The last one to fall is Nabiki.
The last thing she sees is a smooth, feminine hand cloaked with an indigo-colored flame.

This is also before Kyoya learned about the Flame. By this time, Ranma(in uncursed form) had already met Hibari but not Kyoya, though he knew about Ranma's situation and accepted his engagement with Ranma. She is also the one that teaches Hibari about the Flame.
