Unexpected Double Encounter in the Hot Spring

Scar's Party is walking down the path heading to the next town to rest up for a while though the only among them who is not happy is Nanael the Angel, she is looking down at the ground with a very sad look on her face.

"Nanael, is everything okay?" Leina asked concern for the angel.

"No, everything is not okay." Nanael said.

"Come on, it's not like you're going to Hell for screwing up one little mission." Risty shrugged.

"Oh, so you wish I was drag to Hades." Nanael pouted at the bandit woman.

"Easy Nanael, we're just worry about you since you came back from Heaven a few days ago." Scar stated.

"That's because I have to be extra careful to not spill any of this milk until we get to the capital or else, I will go to Hell!" Nanael mentioned holding up the bottle of Holy Milk.

(Few Days Ago)

"I am so sorry, Head Angel! I completely forgot to ask those lackies about the Swamp Witch's plan!" Nanael apologized, bowing low in the present of the Head Angel herself.

"I'm disappointed that you have failed your mission, Nanael. I would have thought being with the human young man have set you straight a little." Head Angel said in a slight tone voice.

"I know I screwed up, but Menace was able to remember one thing of the Swamp Witch's plan and it has something to do with the Queen's Blade tournament, but I'm afraid that's all she remembers." Nanael informed.

"Well, it would seem you didn't come back exactly empty handed. So, I will not send you down to Hades." Head Angel declared.

Nanael let out a sigh of relief, believing that the worse is over and perhaps she can go back to traveling with Scar and the girls, and maybe have some more fun with Scar like at that wonder yet scary hot spring.

"However, you must still be punished for your failure." Head Angel said.

Nanael groan in fear as if knowing deep down, she wouldn't get off so easy like that.

"Okay, okay, so what is it I must do for my failure to be forgiven?" Nanael asked, bracing herself for the worst.

"(Wow, I never seen Nanael willing take a punish and not be afraid! Well, maybe she is a little afraid, but still being brave about it!)" Hachiel thought amazed.

"Throughout the entire journey of Scar and his companion, you will continue following them as I can tell you were going to do that anyway so you can feel more Scar's love as before." Head Angel said causing Nanael to blush of embarrassment.

"(How'd she knows about what we did together?)" Nanael thought wondered.

"Now, take this." Head Angel caused a bottle of milk to appear in her hand and then onto Nanael's hands.

"What is it, Head Angel?" Nanael asked curious.

"That bottle contains Holy Milk, very sacred treasure in Heaven. From now on, you are every effort not to spill a drop for if that bottle were to become empty before you reach Gaino, then you will be sentences to Hades." Head Angel warned.

"WHAAAAT?!" Nanael gasped.

"Do your best, now back to the mortal realm, you go." Head Angel smiled.

Then a hole appears right below Nanael as she fell through and screams in fear while Hachiel gave her a friendly goodbye wave, and then she remembers something just now to tell Nanael.

"Nanael, remember you can fly!" Hachiel called out, hoping her friend heard all that.

"You know, I'm starting to feel jealous that Nanael has a human lover." Hachiel giggled and blushing.

Down on the ground of the earth, Scar and the girls are waiting for Nanael to come back, and in the meantime, Scar is training with Leina to help her get better at fighting with a sword.

"That's it, Leina! Just feel the flow of the battle, let your blade guide you!" Echidna called out observing the fight training with Risty.

"Is it just me or is Leina really getting better the combat training?" Risty asked, noticing the improvements in Leina.

"That might be the case." Menace said, noticing this too.

Scar charges at Leina again swinging his sword from his left side with a fast swift though Leina was able to see this coming and jumps over the Dragon Slayer and perform a spinning front flip to land a slash attack on the chest forcing Scar to stumble back just three feet.

"Nice one, you actually managed to make me move back a little." Scar smirked.

"About time I make you fall back." Leina chuckled.

"Don't get so cocky, you still have to survive my blows!" Scar swinged his long sword fast.

This time, Leina only had time to react for defense with her shield that sent her flying though was able to stand her ground, but before she could charge again, a soft sound of scream is heard.

"Huh, why do I feel like I heard that screaming before?" Leina asked herself.

Leina looks up at the sky for a moment and narrow her eyes a little to see that it's Nanael screaming in fear while falling from the sky again.

"It's Nanael, she's back!" Leina informed the party as they all look up.

"Oh, so she's back." Risty said.

"And it looks like she forgot about the part she can fly, how silly." Echidna giggled.

"Hey Nanael, flip your wings!" Scar shouted.

"Uh, oh yeah." Nanael finally realized this and balance herself in the air as she floats down to the party.

"Hey guys, did you miss me?" Nanael asked with a teasing smirk.

"So, I take if your boss from Heaven is letting you off with the hook?" Scar asked.

"Well, not exactly…" Nanael said holding up the bottle of Holy Milk.

(Present)

"I still can't believe that Head Angel is giving me this kind of punishment." Nanael groaned.

"Try to cheer up, you just got to make sure not to spill a drop and it should be easy since you can fly away from any danger." Menace pointed out.

"That maybe so, but I have a strange feeling that I might be so lucky." Nanael worried.

"In any case, let's be prepare to setup camp since the sun about to set." Scar looked at the lowering sun.

"Wow, I think I have already seen the sky changing color like that many times, but for some reason it always makes me feel at peace." Leina commented on the sunset.

"You got that right, it's like the sun itself has a mystical power to help calm the soul." Risty agreed.

"Makes you wish the rest of the world could be like that." Echidna said.

"You know, looking at this now makes me think of Tomoe and Shizuka, I wonder how they're doing right now?" Scar said thinking about those two.

"Oh, are you interested in adding them to your harem, my beloved?" Menace asked teasing.

"Shut up! I'm just concern about them since they're still very new to the land." Scar said blushing.

"Now, now, I'm sure those two are okay." Leina believed.

(With Tomoe and Shizuka)

Leina didn't know at the time that she was right about Tomoe and Shizuka being okay together as they are resting and relaxing in the warm water of a hot spring they found along the way.

They wasted no time taking the chance to relax after all the tough traveling they went through since arriving to this continent, the map they were using wasn't much help since it's over a century old meaning they lack the directions to find their way to the capital.

But they'll worry about getting the Gaino later, right now they just want to have a relaxing time in the hot spring they just found moments ago.

"Man, this makes me feel like I'm alive again." Shizuka commented.

"Yes, it feels so nice." Tomoe agreed as she just entered one of the hot spring pools with Shizuka.

Although, for some reason, Tomoe is wearing a bathrobe while Shizuka is butt naked not that it bothers to either of them as the priestess warrior look at the sun from the horizon.

"The sunset is beautiful, even when we're this far away from home, it's still the same crimson sky as Hinomoto." Tomoe complimented.

"Almost impossible to believe of how far we come from this." Shizuka pointed out.

"You're right." Tomoe chuckled, smiling brightly.

"Hey, I just thought of something, Lady Tomoe." Shizuka said.

"What is it?" Tomoe asked.

"I bet that Scar would help us relax more if he was with us here right now, that includes being naked." Shizuka said bluntly.

"WHAT!" Tomoe gasped blushing, nearly falling over.

"S-S-Shizuka, where in the did you get such an indecent thought like that?" Tomoe asked stutter.

"Come on, it's not like you weren't thinking the same thing because I know you have a big crush on him." Shizuka proclaimed with a confident grin.

"Don't be silly! While it is true that Scar has proven to have a kinder heart than his dark appearance may lead others to believe, I am on a mission to help free our homeland from corruption." Tomoe reminded Shizuka of the mission.

"I know, but I also believe that it wouldn't hurt to find love for yourself, and I get the feeling Scar maybe that man." Shizuka stated.

"Really? Because it sounds to me like you're the one who has the big crush on him." Tomoe countered which made Shizuka blush.

"You got me, I don't know how the guy did it, but it felt like he just took my heart without me even knowing and I'm supposed to be the ninja." Shizuka admitted.

"Scar has a dark past that he wants to move on from, I pray that he will find peace on his journey through the Queen's Blade tournament." Tomoe worried for Scar.

"Well, he's a tough guy, so I'm sure he's doing okay right now, especially with the people he's traveling right now." Shizuka mentioned.

"Ah yes, Leina and Risty are with him along with Echidna and the angel Nanael too." Tomoe recalled.

"Yep, bet he's already fucking their minds out and making them bear his child. Must be nice." Shizuka said.

"Shizuka!" Tomoe gasped.

"What? I'm just pointing out that it wouldn't hurt to think about our future." Shizuka shrugged.

"But you shouldn't be saying such things out in the open!" Tomoe scolded.

"Why getting so mad about? We're the only one's out here and it's not like Scar is here as well, or maybe you do want him to be here right now." Shizuka teased smirking.

"Please do not say such things and try putting them in my mouth!" Tomoe said.

"But you are thinking about starting a family, right? Then I think Scar would be the perfect guy to help you with that." Shizuka believed.

"Can we please stop talking about this and just enjoy the moment we were having just now?" Tomoe begged with her face blushing of embarrassment.

"Okay, but you better try making a move on him when we see him again." Shizuka teased again.

Suddenly the two friends of Hinomoto heard a noise that doesn't seem to be too far from where they are now.

"What was that?" Tomoe asked surprise.

"Those were horses." Shizuka recognized the sound.

"I'll go take a look, it's best that you stay here." Shizuka volunteered to scout on ahead as she ninjas vanish while leaving a worry Tomoe behind.

(With Elina)

Elina has been traveling with some knights from her homeland still on the hunt for Leina though was just informed by a knight about hot springs in their region, and she decided to relax in the bath there.

"Aw, I can't wait to have a nice, relaxing bath after a long of traveling." Elina smiled.

"Lady Elina, it's too dangerous to go off on your own!" A knight stated.

"I'm just going to take a bath, nothing harm from that." Elina said without stopping.

"But Lady Elina!"

"Enough! You are dismissed for now!" Elina ordered, getting irritated of the knight not leaving her alone.

Meanwhile, Shizuka is spying on Elina from behind a rock and being very quiet so that she doesn't get seen.

"Hey, that's the girl Scar fought in his first Queen's Blade fight a while back. I believe she is Leina's little sister." Shizuka recalled being inform of that.

"Talk about a strange encounter, but I'm more worried that she's going to run into Lady Tomoe at the hot sprong." Shizuka said.

However, she would not be able to hurry to Tomoe's side at this very moment.

"Who are you?" A woman asked getting Shizuka's attention.

Shizuka turns around see a young woman with light blue hair and light red eyes, dark skin too, and wearing a maid outfit. Breasts sizes: E-cup.

Despite looking like a harmless maid, there was something about this woman that is making Shizuka to keep her guard up around her and have to be careful with this new face.

(With Tomoe)

Tomoe remain in the hot spring bath while waiting for Shizuka to return, all while remembering the words from the High Priestess back in her homeland many days ago.

(Flashback)

The memory shows Tomoe and the High Priestess sitting in a single room and several feet across from each other as they are talking about the Queen's Blade Tournament.

"We do not know about the land nor the strength of the western warriors. There's no grantee you will survive and return to Hinomoto." High Priestess worried for the young woman.

"I will be the sword that will protect Hinomoto, if that is was destiny requires as a Warrior Priestess." Tomoe determined to save her land no matter what comes at her way.

(Flashback)

"(Whatever hardship I endure, it's all for the Miko and also for Hinomoto.)" Tomoe thought reminded herself of the task at hand.

Then she heard water moving as a person just step foot in the hot spring.

"Shizuka, is that you?" Tomoe asked as she turns around, but to find that it is not Shizuka.

"So, you beat me to this place." Elina grinned, standing in front of Tomoe naked.

"Wait, I know you." Tomoe surprised.

"Oh, so you claim to know of me, Elina Vance?" Elina asked.

"Yes, I know you because me and a companion of mine saw the broadcast battle of you fighting against the Black Knight Scar and lost to him from a single punch." Tomoe mentioned with a nod.

This made Elina angry to have been reminded of that lost from that wretched man hoping to never have to hear about him again until now.

"That fucking bastard, just because he got the best of me doesn't mean I won't forgive him! When I see him, I'm going to kill him for humiliating me!" Elina angered clutching her fist.

"You shouldn't let your angry get the best of you, it's a warrior's grave mistake to be blinded with rage." Tomoe warned.

"Shut up, no asks you! And I still think it's stupid to allow that man to even enter the Queen's Blade in the first place." Elina complained.

"Well, I believe that it was destiny for Scar to take part in the Queen's Blade because he has a goal that he will reach even if he were to face an army from Hell itself." Tomoe believed strongly.

"Sheesh, you sound like you're his lover or something." Elina annoyed of this woman.

"No, no, no, no, you got it all wrong! I'm just a friend to him, that's all!" Tomoe stated while blushing a little.

"Wait, you're his friend… Then that means you know where Leina is!" Elina realized.

"Leina, if I recall correctly, you're her younger sister." Tomoe said.

"That's right, and that I got a good look at you! I remember seeing you from the broadcast sphere, you were with Leina." Elina recognized Tomoe.

"Oh, that must have been when Menace was controlling Leina to be her slave." Tomoe recalled.

"Tell me now!" Elina demanded.

"Huh, tell you what?" Tomoe confused of what the question is about.

"Leina! I want to know where Leina is right now, so I can go after her!" Elina shouted a little.

"Please calm down, there's no need to shout." Tomoe said.
