A/N: This seems to have just become a habit of mine to begin every chapter of this fic at least with a decently long authors note. No clue why since these chapters tend to end up on the longer side regardless but no reason to buck that trend I guess.

Now for this chapter I'm going to see if things work out and again, please forgive my lack of experience (there is only so many things that research can tell you). I will preface all of this by stating that never have I been on a cruise ship of any sort nor have I ever set foot in Egypt. Again, wanted to get that out there. So, if I say something wrong or I describe something that doesn't make sense to someone who has experienced one or both of those events for real I ask for a little bit of creative license.

For simplicity sake, just a reminder from the authors note in chapter 2 the events currently going on in this story are taking place approximately 3500 years following the events of the past. Pharaoh Atem from the anime is Pharaoh Meryatem from the past. Again, just for simplicity sake. I will be drawing from both the anime and manga as need be but I do reserve the right to change things slightly in order to just have things make more sense. No, there are no millennium items. Kul Elna was NOT sacrificed by Akunadin. Again, in this world those items just do not exist otherwise I would have gone with the much easier option of Yami slipping the millennium ring around his neck instead of the Ring of Apep onto his finger.

Now that my senseless rambling is out of the way I guess I can get chapter 4 on with. Again, as always please give me feedback on this story. I enjoy nothing more than engaging with my readers and discussing not only plot but what you think worked and what didn't.

Chapter 4

Lamentations of a Thief

It was loud. Though Ra had long since begun his decent through the underworld still the sound of infernal honking and zooming could be heard through the thin walls of this, surprisingly spartan residence. Bakura sighed as he glared hatefully at the sleeping form of Kek.

Of course it had to be Kek and his infernal father who else could he have possibly ended up tied to? Was this the gods once again trying to torment him? As if the last immeasurable eternity wasn't torture enough?!

Bakura scowled clenching his fist tightly as he felt his white hot temper ignite as he took stock of his situation. One would have assumed that he was being given a second chance to get his revenge against that blasted Pharaoh but no. No his perpetual suffering seemed doomed to continue.

It was bad enough being forced to watch that arrogant king day after tortuous day. He was forced to stand by and watch as his body was carelessly tossed onto a pyre built in the deepest recesses of the dungeons. Pharaoh had stood by and watched with that vile, evil smirk on his face. Spitting on Bakura's dead body before nodding to the servants who set the pyre ablaze. He'd stood there for far too long, almost as if he wanted to personally ensure that there would be no chance of rebirth. No chance of Bakura ever being at peace. No chance of him ever reaching paradise.

Just remembering that day was almost enough to make Bakura sick. And now he was trapped with that vile man all over again and just as he had been ever since Pharaoh had driven that dagger into his chest. The pain of being stabbed was only momentary. Any sense of pain leaving him just as his life essence soon did. However, the pain of Pharaoh's punishment was eternal.

Bakura had lost track of the years that had passed. And being trapped as an unseen observer was torture he should of known that things would never be that simple. No, Pharaoh's true punishment came to pass when Pharaoh Meryatem himself finally died.

Bakura could still vividly remember the moment he watched as an aging Meryatem had for the first time in almost twenty years removed the leather cord from around his neck which contained Bakura's prison. Bakura had hoped that what Meryatem intended to do was to pass the ring onto his son and that the ring would continue to be passed down through there until...until what or when Bakura didn't know.

No, what truly happened was that Bakura had underestimated the extent of Meryatem's cruelty. Meryatem had taken the ring and placed it into a small, plain wooden box before he closed the lid. He had then turned to Kek.

"Kek, my son as we both know my time on this plane is growing short. My time will soon come to join my forefathers before me in the field of reeds, where I will bask in paradise. Waiting until the time has come for you too to join me." Meryatem had said. Bakura remembered those words because this moment was the moment that would come to define his existence almost more than the moment Pharaoh had sealed him within that blasted ring.

Kek had given his father a tight, almost wan smile. "May the gods continue to bless you father. You are a great man. And our kingdom is richer for having you." Kek said. Bakura snorted he could not disagree more with that idiotic boy. His father was a vile, evil, tyrant who deserved nothing more than to be shit out in the desert after Ammut devoured his heavy heart. There was nothing good or just about Meryatem. Bakura truly believed Meryatem didn't know what those words even meant.

Meryatem embraced Kek. "I love you my son. And you will be a great Pharaoh. You can be nothing else. I have every bit of faith in you that you will continue to lead our people into prosperity." Meryatem said. Bakura gagged.

Kek embraced his father in return, "Your kind words mean a great deal to me father." Kek replied.

The two men had embraced for a few moments longer before Meryatem released his son before sitting down on a stool before his vanity, his hand resting lightly on the plain wooden box. "I do have one small favor to ask of you my son."

"You could ask anything of me father, you know this." Kek had replied.

Meryatem was quiet for a moment before he turned and fixed his gaze upon the wooden box. "When my time comes to pass and the time comes for you to lay me to rest my son you must promise me that this box will be placed within my tomb. Promise me that no one will open this box and that it will just be placed in the tomb with my possessions. This is absolutely vital my son. Promise me this will be done." Meryatem said.

Kek nodded, "I shall see to it this is done father, even if I have to place it within your tomb myself. It will be as you have said." Kek vowed.

Meryatem turned and gave his son another small smile before he said that it was getting late and he was getting tired and Kek left leaving Meryatem alone. And for the first time since the ring had been forged Meryatem had addressed Bakura. "As my life draws to a close your true punishment begins. You will now spend the rest of eternity sealed away within my tomb. Completely isolated from all life. Bound in silence and darkness. And there you will be. Trapped until time comes to a close." Meryatem whispered.

Bakura punched the wall. Imagining once again it was that vile Pharaoh's face. Oh how Bakura hated Meryatem.

What Bakura wouldn't give to breathe in the cool night air. To walk the deserts of his home land. Bakura sighed. Actually, as nice as that would be. To have the freedom to move and not be tied to that blasted ring that was no longer what Bakura coveted.

No, what Bakura coveted more than anything now was to be at peace. To be able to see his family once more.

A peace that blasted Pharaoh had permanently stolen from him!

Bakura could see through the small slit in the window obstructions as Ra began to emerge from his journey through the underworld. Bakura frowned. Why couldn't, just for once, Apep be victorious? Why must Ra continually defeat the Snakelike deity? That continual almost mocking victory almost reminded him of Meryatem. Meryatem and the gods who still heeded his vile call to his day.

No, if anyone deserved to lose it would be Ra. Apep's day should come. As Ra continued his steady rise in victory that infernal honking sound increased in volume. Bakura frowned.

"Do shut up." Bakura snarled. That honking sound was beginning to drive him nuts.

The sound of the never ending honking was drowned out by a loud beeping sound that blared from within this room. Bakura whipped his attention off the window to turn his scowling attention onto Kek.

Kek merely wrinkled his brow slightly before burrowing deeper into the comforter. On the bedside table Bakura could see a flashing light coming from some sort of strange device...what is was or what purpose it even served Bakura didn't know. Nor did he care, although right now Bakura could only assume it was what was responsible for that noise.

Bakura was drawn from his musings by the door to Kek's chambers opening and in walked that Ra damned Pharaoh.

Oh how Bakura wished he could murder him. It would have to be slow. Agonizingly slow so that Bakura could truly savor the moment.

Bakura watched as Meryatem turned off the infernal noise emanating from the beside table before he addressed the figure on the bed, "Yami, its time to wake up."

Kek, although why he was being called Yami Bakura didn't know. As far as he was concerned the princess was still the princess. Bakura smirked. He'd made sure of THAT after all.

Bakura sighed, yes if there was one thing he had ever done in his life that over time he MIGHT have seen as going just a tad too far it was with his wedding gift to Kekhalfani. Yes, perhaps him crossing a line was why the guards were able to apprehend him that night which enabled the Pharaoh to administer his crazed evil vengeance.

However, perhaps admitting, even if only to himself. After all, its not like there was anyone else around to even hear him, didn't change the fact that he had done it. He had pinned the princess down on the stone floor and fucked him.

Yes, again, a clear argument to be made was that Kekhalfani was not guilty of any such crimes. He had done nothing to Bakura. Certainly, nothing that one could argue warranted Bakura doing what he had. However, at the time Bakura had rationalized it as Kekhalfani's crime was being a treasured possession of Meryatem's.

A treasured possession belonging to a man he'd vowed to steal everything from. And that was one thing that once stolen could never be given back. Even killing him and torturing him for all eternity didn't undo the theft.

Bakura hoped the knowledge of what he had stolen from him had haunted Meryatem to his dying day.

Bakura watched as in true childlike fashion Kek grabbed his pillow and buried his head beneath it. "M tired." He sleepily whined.

Meryatem chuckled as he reached down and attempted to pull the pillow out of Kek's sleepy grasp. "Then perhaps you shouldn't have been up at all hours of the night Yami. I did remind you that we had quite an early morning today."

Bakura watched as Meryatem succeeded in pulling the pillow from Kek's grasp and the sleepy princess blinked one crimson eye open to shoot the Pharaoh a glare. "No one should be this energetic this early." Kek hissed.

Meryatem chuckled before he lightly ruffled Kek's hair. Bakura frowned, just what was going on with those two? So much for their normal prim and proper behavior. "I'm serious Yami. You need to be getting up so we'll be able to make it to the airport in time to board the plane." Meryatem said.

Kek swatted Meryatem's hand away before he slowly sat up, "Fine, I'm up! Are you happy now dad?" Kek asked.

Meryatem nodded. "I am. Very. Now get dressed. I called the hotel last night and spoke to Pegasus. I asked him to have one of your roommates make sure to grab your bag and bring it with them to the airport. This will save me from having to stop at the hotel as well as try and make it to the airport, since the hotel is out of our way."

Kek rolled his eyes, "Great. Thanks." He mumbled as he tugged off his shirt and Meryatem exited the room to do whatever vile, evil things he did with his time. Probably watching the massacre of children or coordinating more of this infernal beeping that was slowly beginning to drive Bakura mad. Or both. There wasn't much Bakura wouldn't put past Meryatem.

Bakura turned his attention away from Kek as the princess got himself dressed. Don't get him wrong he was beyond thankful to be out of that tomb. Being trapped in there had been utterly and completely maddening. It had taken him what felt like an eternity before he had figured out how to be able to withdraw himself fully into the ring. It was almost like going to sleep and was probably the only reason that he had any semblance of his mind still with him. Otherwise no doubt he'd have become a drooling imbecile.

Once Kek had gotten himself ready he left. Bakura sighed sadly as he felt the damn pull of that accursed ring. And since Kek was wearing it Bakura had slowly come to realize that he was now tied to Kek.

He left the room following Kek out into the entry part of house before Bakura focused on withdrawing his presence into the ring. He had already had more than enough to stomach of the Pharaoh and his son.

Yami sank moodily down into a chair at the table and grabbed a bagel before taking a large bite. Yami glanced up to see his father leaning up against the kitchen counter sipping a cup of coffee. "When will you start allowing me to drink coffee?" Yami asked.

Atemu snorted as he set his cup down, "No doubt you will start drinking coffee once your mother and I send you away to college." Atemu replied.

Yami snorted before he took yet another bite from his bagel, "How much time left before we need to leave?" Yami asked.

Atemu briefly glanced down at his watch, "We need to leave in the next ten minutes." Atemu said.

Yami rolled his eyes, "You mean to tell me I could have slept for another five minutes at least and you robbed me of that." Yami asked with a laugh.

Atemu snorted, "Yes, because I enjoy nothing more than having my quiet morning cup of coffee disrupted by my whining teenage son."

Yami just shook his head as he took another bite of his bagel, unable to keep the smile off his face. Something Atemu clearly noticed, "I'm glad to see that you seem to be feeling better today." Atemu said.

Yami nodded, "Yeah, once I was able to fall back to sleep last night I slept great." Yami replied.

Atemu nodded before he set his, now empty, coffee cup into the sink. "Finish your bagel then come and meet me by the jeep.

Yami rolled his eyes before he stuffed the remainder of his bagel into his mouth before heading out to the jeep. This time Atemu rolled his eyes, "You could have taken the time to chew your food Yami." Atemu replied.

Yami swallowed as he shrugged, "What I don't understand is why we took the time to land in Cairo before just having to go back to the airport to then fly down to Luxor. Wouldn't it have made more sense for us to have flown down to Luxor to begin with." Yami said.

Atemu just shook his head, "Trust me, the trip down to Luxor is a lot more manageable flying then driving or taking the train. I've done all three and if we went by boat from Cairo down to Luxor it would take us almost a week to get there. This is a short, one hour, plane ride. I think you'll be able to manage it." Atemu said, he paused before adding, "Besides, if you had just flown straight into Luxor you and your classmates would have missed the museum and the pyramids."

Yami just snorted as he climbed into the jeep and buckled his seat belt, "Oh yes because missing those things would have been soooo terrible. I mean, its not like I missed both of those things. How am I still alive? How could I possibly have survived such a terrible disappointment." Yami said.

Atemu playfully swatted Yami on the back of the head, "Do behave." Atemu said.

Yami answered his father by maturely sticking his tongue out at him. Atemu just shook his head before his focus turned to dealing with the early morning traffic as he made his way to the airport before parking and he and Yami headed inside. They had just made it through the front doors as the bus pulled up and Yami's classmates came tumbling out, none of which seemed particularly pleased to be back at the airport already.

"YAMI!"

Yami jumped and turned just in time to find himself pulled into a rib breaking embrace by Anzu. "I am so glad to see that you're alright. I was worried sick about you." Anzu cooed as she continued to hug him tightly.

Jou snorted before his place beside Anzu, "I told ya he was jus fine Zu."

It took Yami several moments to be able to wriggle himself out of Anzu's tight embrace. He didn't need to look to know that Jou was glaring at him. It wasn't like he wanted to have Anzu hugging the life out of him. Yami resisted the urge to roll his eyes as he picked up his duffle bag that Jou had dropped. Everything will just be so much easier once Jou plucks up the courage to ask Amzu out. Then he can stop acting like he's jealous every time Anzu interacts with a guy that isn't him.

"As you can see Anzu, I am just fine. I just got overheated a bit, that's all. Nothing my dad couldn't get taken care of." Yami said.

Otogi walked up beside him and clapped Yami on the shoulder, "So glad to hear that you are all better my friend. Now, I'm sure you have a harrowing story to share with us." He asked, waggling his eyebrows as he spoke, no doubt ensuring that Yami knew exactly what he was talking about.

Yami frowned, "Not now you moron!" Yami hissed, his elbow digging into Otogi's ribs as he spoke.

"Alright students, now everyone please follow me while we line up to get checked in for our flight." Pegasus called out.

Yami sighed but said nothing further as Anzu dragged him by the hand over towards the check in counter. Yami decided to just humor her. Anzu was a great friend and she had been for years. She was also a bit of a mother hen and could be a real worrywart. When Anzu said that she was worried sick about him he believed her.

"Did you ask your dad about why we are back at the airport?" Anzu asked.

Yami nodded, "My dad just said that this is a lot faster and more enjoyable way to get to Luxor from Cairo. He said otherwise its a really long trip." Yami replied.

Anzu nodded, "Your dad would know, wouldn't he?" Anzu asked.

Yami shrugged, "Yeah, I guess. He said he's flown, drove and taken the train to Luxor before and that flying is the best way to go."

Thankfully, check in went quite smoothly and before Yami knew it he and his classmates were crammed aboard yet another plane. Yami, for his part, did feel a bit sorry for his dad since it looked like his dad was stuck sitting next to Chono-sensei and Pegasus. Although, based on what he could see it looked like the three adults were amicably talking to one another while they waited for the plane to depart.

Yami sighed as he thankfully ended up with the window seat this time. Beside him he could feel Anzu resting her head on his shoulder, as she no doubt attempted to look out the window. "I really am happy that you are okay. When you collapsed like that for a second I thought you were dead." Anzu whispered.

Yami turned and gave Anzu a reassuring smile, "I can promise you I am not dead yet."

"Oh haha very funny Yami." Anzu hissed with a chuckle.

Yami shrugged, "Well, I certainly thought it was funny." Yami replied. He rolled his eyes when he felt someone, presumably Jou kick the back of his seat.

The flight finished boarding soon enough and they were up in the air. Anzu squeezed Yami's hand tightly as they took off before slowly releasing her hold on him. "Sorry, I just hate take offs." Anzu said.

Yami just shrugged once more, turning his attention back out the window. "No problem." Yami replied.

True to Atemu's word the flight to Luxor was an incredibly short one, it almost felt the the plane had hardly leveled off before it was descending once again.

Once they had landed in Luxor the group quickly disembarked and collected their luggage before once again climbing onto a bus, although this time Atemu joined them on the bus as they all made their way to the Luxor port.

The group lingered slightly while Pegasus and Atemu began the process of getting the group checked in for their cruise.

"You know ya can let go of him Zu." Jou grumbled.

Anzu however frowned as she if anything tightened her hold on Yami's hand, something he had almost forgotten she was holding.

"You don't get to dictate what I do Jonouchi!" Anzu hissed, her blue eyes narrowed in what Yami honestly thought was genuine anger. Yami rose a brow in question. Okay, what the hell did I miss yesterday?

"Students! Can I have your attention please?"

Yami and Anzu both looked up to see Pegasus trying to get their attention. Off to the side Jonouchi was standing with Otogi and Honda, with Jou still glaring in Yami and Anzu's direction.

"We have gotten checked in for the cruise now please come up and we'll tell you which rooms you have been assigned to. And before you ask, yes your roommates for the duration of the cruise will be the same as the ones you are sharing a hotel room with." Pegasus said.

Yami sighed as he felt Anzu squeeze his hand, "I'm sorry Yami." Anzu whispered in Yami's ear. Yami rose a questioning brow in Anzu's direction. The feeling he had that something major had happened between his friends while he had been indisposed was beginning to really grow.

"Well, I guess its time to face the music." Yami said as he tugged Anzu over to where Pegasus was standing holding up a clipboard which Yami assumed had the list of room assignments.

"Ah, Yami-boy and Anzu-chan! Yami-boy, you and your friends are in room 415. Anzu-chan you are in room 419." Pegasus said.

Yami nodded he briefly glanced in his father's direction, "Oh, and where are you bunking? Don't tell me you are sharing a room with Pegasus." Yami said, unable to keep from cracking a smile at the thought of his father having to share a room with the eccentric principal.

Atemu shook his head, "No, unlike you children I actually get my own room which I paid for when I helped the school book this trip. I'm up on the 5th floor in one of the suites. Room 547" Atemu said he did pause to give his son a pointed look, "But don't think that if you end up in trouble you won't find yourself bunking with me for the remainder of the cruise." Atemu said.

Yami paled at the thought. No, that would be a literal nightmare. It was bad enough he'd had to stay with his dad when he'd collapsed resulting from his...Yami sighed as he put the thought out of his mind. He hadn't seen the specter today and a part of him was just really hoping that he'd dreamed up the whole possession thing. He may very well just be in denial about it, but since they were about to cruise along the Nile river being in denial seemed like a good idea to Yami. However, if the ghost showed up again then Yami'd have to admit he really was possessed.

And then figure out how to go about getting himself unpossessed. Yami mentally snorted, unpossessed is that even a word? Leave it to him to potentially end up in a situation that in reality is so insane there isn't even a real word to describe what needs to be done.

Yami gave his dad a somewhat sheepish smile, "That should not be a problem." Yami said.

Atemu chuckled, "It had better not be. Now, go and enjoy your time with your friends. The ship should be departing in about an hour or two. That should give you plenty of time to get settled."

Yami rose a brow, "You mean we aren't doing some exploration of Luxor today?" Yami asked.

Atemu shrugged, "We discussed that while we were planning this trip and decided to make today a slightly more leisurely day. Putting our exploration of Luxor for the day we return to port simply by delaying our flight back to Cairo." Atemu said.

Yami shrugged, if that was what made the most sense to his dad and Pegasus when they were planning the trip then who was Yami to argue with them. Anzu tugged lightly on Yami's hand pulling him in the direction of the stairs. "Come on Yami, I'd like to see our rooms." Anzu said.

Yami chuckled before he waved to his dad before allowing Anzu to tug him up the steps. "And maybe once we get to the rooms you can fill me on on what the hell is going on? I mean the tension between you and the guys is thick enough to cut with a knife." Yami said.

Anzu shrugged. "It really isn't that big of a deal. Jou and the others were acting like a bunch of overgrown children and I told them that." Anzu said, although Yami could clearly hear the traces of genuine anger in her tone. That more than anything told Yami that whatever had happened while he'd been gone was a lot more serious than Anzu had just said.

But, Yami also knew his friends well and with Anzu it was always about letting her deal with whatever was on her mind first before she'd let others in on the mess. And when she was upset about something she liked to bury that by instead focusing on someone else. Case in point, her worrying herself to death about him collapsing. Yes, Anzu was his friend and Yami didn't doubt that she was worried about him. But the way she was clinging to him now. That more than anything told Yami that Anzu was using worrying about him as a crutch to avoid having to deal with her fight with the other guys.

The pair decided to stop by Anzu's room first. Yami hung back, allowing her to unlock her room. It was a simple Stateroom with a bed and the room appeared slightly smaller than the hotel room which made Yami's heart sink. He and his friends had hardly had enough space in the hotel room. How the hell were they all going to squeeze in here?

"This is nice, isn't it?" Anzu said as she headed inside.

Yami nodded as he followed her in, although a part of him was beginning to debate the pros and cons of not bunking with his friends and instead staying with his dad. Was the embarrassment and loss of time with his friends really worth not having a place to comfortably sleep?

Yami didn't know. But given the fact that he was going on be on this ship for the better part of a week Yami had a feeling he'd figure out his priorities rather quickly.

There was a brisk knock on the door which Anzu got up and answered, revealing Jou, Otogi and Honda. "Now, if your done whining why don't we all head over to our room so we can figure out the next leg of this excursion." Honda said briskly.

Anzu narrowed her eyes, "First of all Honda I am NOT whining. And quite honestly I think you can take your whole stupid idea and shove it right up your ass." Anzu growled.

Honda crossed his arms over his chest before he turned his attention back onto Yami, "Look we need to head on over to our room so we can figure out what else we can have Yami do, that is if he can't show us what he stole from the dig site earlier." Honda said.

Anzu harshly shoved Honda, "Not enough that one of your friends nearly died of heat exhaustion yesterday. You still have to go on this crazy ego driven causing trouble mission. Well, as I said yesterday I don't want to be a part of it anymore." Anzu growled.

Otogi rolled his eyes, "Which I still don't understand, seeing as how you did your part yesterday when we were at the pyramids. So, again, what's the big deal Anzu?" Otogi asked.

Yami sighed he may not have fully understood what his friends were arguing about but the fact that he had nothing to show for his misadventure at the dig site was beyond frustrating. Which meant his friends were going to come up with something else stupid. Maybe Anzu was right, that it was just a stupid idea and that they should quit before someone else got hurt. Or worse. Ended up possibly possessed like he was.

"Look, can we just drop this whole thing?" Yami asked.

Otogi frowned, "I thought you told me at the dig site that you HAD stolen something. Are you saying now that you didn't." Otogi said.

Yami clenched his fist tightly at his side. Ironically enough the fist he was clenching was the one which now sported a brand new tattoo on his ring finger. "Look, I didn't lie to you Otogi. I did manage to swipe something from the tent. Problem is I don't have it anymore." Yami managed to ground out.

Jou snorted, "And how are we ta expect ta believe dat ya stole somethin ta begin wit if ya neva showed us Yams?" Jou asked.

Yami frowned, "Well, I'm sorry Jou that me collapsing yesterday at the pyramids denied me the chance to show you guys what I'd stolen. And that circumstances being what they are I no longer have that item in my possession." Yami growled.

Honda frowned, "Wait, are you saying your old man caught you?" Honda asked.

Yami sighed, "Something like that, yeah." Yami said. What else could he possibly say? The ring I stole literally melted into my skin and became a tattoo wasn't going to fly because even thinking it was too outlandish.

Anzu took this opportunity to jab Honda in the chest, "See, that's exactly my point Honda! You have Chono so far up your ass I 'm surprised she isn't bunking with you because of the stupid thing you pulled in the museum. Yami's dad literally caught him stealing and he's on a last warning with him. Not to mention what happened with me yesterday. None of this is fucking worth it Honda!" Anzu growled.

Yami glanced at each of his friends, before his eyes widened in shock when he briefly locked eyes with the damn specter once again. Just like earlier this morning he was leaning casually against the wall his arms crossed over his bare chest and his long untamed white hair. Now that Yami had seen the specter he couldn't unsee him.

Yami swallowed thickly as he forced his eyes to look away from the specter. "Guys, I don't know about you but I'm not feeling too good right now. I think I'm going to head down to our room and get some sleep." Yami said.

He could feel that his body was beginning to shake as his small sliver of hope that last night had all been a dream was slowly beginning to crash down around him. As much as he might have wanted to joke that he was possessed and act like it wasn't a big deal that wasn't the case.

To be honest, even as childish as it was to admit Yami was genuinely scared.

Yami ignored the specter entirely as he made his way to his room. He unlocked the door and could honestly care less with what the room looked like as he flopped himself face first down onto the best. His heart literally racing.

As his new reality truly began to sink in Yami found his mind racing towards unknown solutions. Clearly he couldn't tell anyone what had happened. Not that anyone would believe him. Hell, he didn't believe himself. Two am revelations aside.

Bakura snorted as he watched Kek collapse in an undignified heap on the bed. Bakura rolled his eyes. He had been meditating quite nicely within his prison, envisioning the deal and eternal torment of the Pharaoh when this brat and his friends bickering had drawn him out of his peaceful place.

Bakura slowly approached the beside as he watched Kek place his hands over his ears as he continually muttered under his breath, "This can't be happening."

Vaguely Bakura recognized Kek must be having some sort of a panic attack. Bakura rolled his eyes, honestly what did the spoiled brat have to be panicking about? Although, Kek's whining was really beginning to get on Bakura's nerves. Like truly get on his nerves.

Bakura put his hand on the back of Kek's shoulder intending to shake some sense into the boy when instead something strange happened as soon as Bakura's hand came into contact with Kek's skin. Bakura clenched his eyes shut before he slowly blinked them open once again only to see darkness.

Bakura frowned as he slowly lowered his arms. Not that he even remembered raising them to begin with and brought them back down to his side and it was then that he realized not only was he laying on a bed but that he could FEEL the bed.

Bakura abruptly pushed himself up and now he was the one sitting on the bed apparently he had somehow managed to take control of Kek's body.

Bakura could not help but grin as he slowly got to his feet. A brief glance in the mirror above the dresser confirmed what Bakura had already expected. He saw himself starring back at him with Kek's face.

Bakura's grin broadened as he strode out the door and back into the hallway. He may not have known how he had managed to take control of Kek but he had no intentions of ever relinquishing said control. For too long he'd been trapped, unseen and unheard.

Now, he could do everything he had missed from his life. And Bakura knew better than anyone to not waste this chance that he had been given, especially since who knows how long it was going to take Kek before he was able to figure out how to reclaim control of his body.

Now, what to do first? Bakura thought to himself. Should he gorge himself on food? Should he find himself a whore to fuck until dawn?

Bakura sighed, sadly the one thing he wanted to do more than anything was going to require a bit more planning. After all, Pharaoh's murder had to be utterly and completely perfect. And you just didn't rush perfection.

"Yo, Yams? I thought dat ya were gonna take a nap?"

Bakura glanced up to lock gazes with one of his hosts loudmouth idiotic friends. Bakura shrugged as he leisurely crossed his arms, "To put it bluntly I grew tired of dealing with your idiocy so any excuse to get away from you would work. Now, don't you have someone else to go and bark at?" Bakura asked.

"I'm not a dog!" The blond snarled.

Bakura's smirk broadened, "Could have fooled me mutt." Bakura purred.

"DAT does it!" The blonde growled before he literally leaped at Bakura, or at least he would have if the other two guys hadn't managed to grab a hold of him.

"Come on Jou, I heard there is a massive buffet. Lets see if we can find it." The pretty boy with the long black hair suggested.

Jou continued to growl before he did finally allow his two friends to drag him off. Good riddance. Bakura thought with a smirk.

Bakura watched them leave before his attention was once more been taken up, this time by Kek's female friend from before.

"Are you sure you're alright Yami? You're really worrying me." The girl whispered.

Bakura forced the smirk to fall from his face as he gazed at the girl, "I'm sorry, I guess I'm just not feeling quite like myself. Maybe it would be for the best if I don't get left alone." Bakura said, his voice taking on what he honestly thought was a more pathetic tone of voice. The tone that Bakura remembered quite well had a way of turning whores into clay.

Clay that was easily molded into whatever Bakura wanted.

"Do you think I should take you to find your dad?" The whore suggested. A suggestion Bakura mentally filed away for later. Dealing with the Pharaoh was something he planned to do but he needed to gather the necessary tools first.

Bakura pouted, "Are you saying you don't want to take care of me?" He purred, inwardly smirking when the whores cheeks flamed red. No doubt she had picked up on exactly what Bakura was after.

"Y-Yami I..." The girl stuttered.

However, the moment was momentarily shattered by the girls roommates entering the room. However, Bakura grinned as he lightly grasped the girls wrist tugging her close. "Why don't we take this conversation back to my room." Bakura purred.

One of the whores roommates giggled, "Ooooh Anzu. You and Yami? About time you got together."

"I knew you liked him! Good on you taking advantage of the trip." Another girl said with a laugh.

If anything the whores cheeks turned a deeper shade of red. "Come along Anzu dear." Bakura purred as he tugged her out of the room and back down the hall.

It had been at the very least a thousand years since Bakura had had a fuck. He was more than long overdue.

The trip back down the hall with the whore in tow did not take long at all. Bakura tugged the whore into the room before practically slamming the door shut behind him as he eyed the girl almost predatorily.

"Yami, are you alright?" Anzu asked, her eyes shining with what Bakura could no doubt guess was concern. As long as her concern saw her getting out of the those damn clothes and laying on her back then Bakura was all for her concern.

"I'm more than alright Anzu." Bakura purred as he slowly approached Anzu, who retreated from him until her knees collided with the side of the bed and she ended up sprawled across the sheets. Bakura licked his lips.

"Gods above has any ever told you how utterly fuckable you look right now." Bakura purred as he pinned his hands on either side of Anzu's head.

"Fuckable? Yami what's gotten into you?" Anzu spluttered.

Bakura's grin broadened as he lightly traced the side of Anzu's breast. They were large. Larger than the last whore he'd banged. Oh, this was going to be so much fun. He squeezed he breast in his hand making Anzu gasp.

"Yami! What...what are you doing?" Anzu asked.

"What do you think I'm doing? I'm going to fuck you. Isn't that what you want?" Bakura purred.

"But..."Anzu spluttered.

Bakura rose a brow, "Or do you not want me?" Bakura asked. The girl did. Bakura could see that desire for him, or more precisely his host burning brightly in her eyes.

Anzu swallowed thickly, "Of course I want you. I-I love you but Yami, this isn't right." Anzu said.

Bakura, however, had his answer as he leaned forward, "That's what I thought. And you wouldn't dream of saying no to me, now would you Anzu?" Bakura purred however, before Anzu even had a chance to reply Bakura pressed his lips to hers.

The girl gasped in shock as Bakura roughly pressed his lips against hers. The resulting gasp merely allowed Bakura to slip his tongue past the whores lips as he roughly laid claim to the girls mouth. The girl moaned. And Bakura felt how her arm wrapped itself around Bakura's shoulders pulling him even closer.

Bakura took this opportunity to slip his hand up under Anzu's top to fondle her breasts as he continued to twirl his tongue with hers. Anzu, despite all of her objections was kissing him back. Just as he knew she would.

The moment however was shattered by the sound of someone hammering quite loudly on the closed door. "Yami! Open the door this instant!" The voice of the Pharaoh growled.

The knock on the door if anything seemed to remind the whore of her prior objection and she managed to push Bakura off before she scrambled to her feet, practically diving for the door. Allowing the Pharaoh to enter.

Bakrua casually sat atop the bed as he glared at the Pharaoh, hatred burning in his veins. So, we meet again.
