The past 10 years have not been kind to the people at Nerima. Most specifically, Nerima Wrecking Crew.
The Tendou sisters are now all but dead. Akane is dead from the severe food poisoning from her own cooking. She is forced to eat her own cooking by her inmates who are tired of hearing her bragging about how she is a good cook. Nabiki was dead from the daily beatings from her inmates that never stopped ever since she got arrested. Her inmate is one of Nabiki's former blackmailing victims from a long time ago. Kasumi committed suicide around 2 years after Ranma's disappearance because of Ryoga's depression Ki that hit her. Ryoga's depression latched onto her, but she managed to fight off her depression. But, her sister's death is the final straw that broke the camelback.
Soun has remained in the psychiatric ward since his daughter's arrest. He did get better and almost make a recovery from Ranma's sudden disappearance, but when he hears about his daughters' deaths, his recovery doesn't mean anything now. That is the final blow to his sanity.
Genma got locked as a panda when he angered Herb when he came across the Musk Prince on his way running from the Yakuza. He now lived at the zoo as the main attraction in China.
Happosai...no one knows where he goes and no care enough to know about his whereabouts. Although he is sometimes is being sighted whenever there is a beach contest. The last time anyone sees him, it's near Okinawa.
Ryoga is being mistaken as a wild animal when he at Okinawa, wandering the forest there while he is looking for Akari's farm. With no hot water available, he got shot and died immediately soon after from the severe wound to his head. As it turns out, Bakusai Tenketsu's toughness doesn't transfer to his cursed form.
For Khu Lon, her life is idyllic like before Ranma reared his head at the village, and excitement is very scarce at the village of the Joketsuzoku, unlike before she moved to Nerima with Xian Pu and Mu Tse. Both Xian Pu and Mu Tse are now back to their routine as before they met Ranma. This means Mu Tse trying to woo Xian Pu, while she beat him up for distracting her when she doing her task as Amazon.
For the Kunos, the psychiatrist has done wonders to all three of them. They're just more...quirky and eccentric now instead of plain crazy like before. The Kuno patriarch still acts like Hawaiian, minus the exploding and lame haircut bit. He opened his own barbershop, giving away free pineapple after a haircut. He ended up giving his position to a man named Onizuka Eikichi. Kodachi now opened her own research lab, dedicated to making beautiful flowers and useful herbs breed, not the poison kind like before. She also opened her own flower shop, just like what her late Mother had wanted. Tatewaki is still being his self-identified samurai self, although he stopped trying to date girls the way he does before. He started to take his position as the Kendo club leader more seriously, competing in various tournaments and championships. He is also now an aspiring actor, especially in old drama and film.
Ukyo moved out from Nerima a few months after Ranma disappeared. Now, she is the owner of the famous okonomiyaki restaurant chain, Ucchan's Okonomiyaki. Although she still has to pose as a guy, seeing as her mission is officially failed when Ranma disappeared.
Nodoka is starting to reconnect with her once estranged mother and family when she married Genma. As she couldn't get pregnant anymore after Ranma's birth, she could only watch in envy as her sisters and brothers played with their children. And she is one of the rare ones that found Ranma. Or rather, get a glimpse of Ranma with apparently his wife, seeing they holding hands and kissing and all, alongside their two children. Not even a few seconds later, they vanished, not giving Nodoka any chance to talk with him, or even greet him.
Nerima, after Ranma's disappearance, started to have a declining economy, especially in the tourism and construction section. Many peoples came to Nerima since Ranma's stay in Nerima, boosting their economy. Some wealthy fiancee that Genma just scammed, esoteric and weird martial arts practitioners, and even tourists from outside of the wards and other countries came here to marry or fight Ranma. The latter is here to watch the ensuing martial arts challenge or bet. But when Ranma disappeared, the former two stopped coming, and indirectly, the last one as well. Although there are not many weird martial artists coming to Nerima anymore, those that come still cause property damages to the ward, more destructive as there are no Ranma to stop them.
Without any sort of super-powered Martial Arts fight going, the construction workers and members of Martial Arts Repair and Construction rarely have many works to do. So, in one year or so after Ranma's disappearance, the group split up. Some go to Juuban. Some go to Graviton City or out of the country. Until there are no competent construction workers left at Nerima. Only the lousy one remains in Nerima.
