Kjon's Audio Diary Log
I explained my plan to Ch'ris as he pulled up the source of the transmission on his wristbracer. Our plan would be to go in and have Ch'ris turn himself over to his sister, while I took out the other Yatja, and worked on getting Jenny and Rachelle out. That was it. This plan was much more flawed than any of our others, since we took our time, and planned out how we were going to take down the bad bloods. Now Zell-oah was threatening to harm the girls. I didn't doubt for a second that she was capable of harming Jenny and Rachelle. I have had to deal with, and even work with people like Zell-oah in the Task Force. I saw what people like them could do, and you better believe I was worried for the girls' lives. Time was the one thing Ch'ris and I didn't have. Although with what little time we did have, we decided to prepare ourselves as best we could before the fight. Our munitions and our energy were low so we had little choice but to go to Ch'ris' ship and stock up.
We double timed it over to the ship, which Ch'ris had stationed miles away. Thankfully it didn't take us to long to reach.
"I do not feel well with this plan of yours my friend. I do not mean to insult you, but I feel that fighting blindly is not a wise decision." Ch'ris told me.
"Oh trust me, I understand how you feel ,Ch'ris, and I know for a fact that this is a bad idea. I've gone into blind battles many times before." I explained. I tried to show him that I was also uneasy about the situation we were going into, but hopefully my courageous attitude would help calm him down.
"Have they ever gone according to your desires?" He asked me stupidly, to which I replied with a smart-assed glare. "I should've known that much, but have you ever had to face off against other Yatja in such circumstances?" He questioned. Ch'ris had a very good argument to make with that inquiry.
"Well I can't say your argument isn't valid. But the girls are in trouble, and I can see it. We can't just wait around, we need to get them out." I said trying to make sense of my reasoning.
"What if this is just a snare. What if Zell-oah knew her threatening would tempt us, and we are stumbling into her ambuscade? I do not mean to doubt your courage my friend, but I'm saying that we may have taken this a better direction, and we are making a foolish mistake." While Ch'ris was an encouraging and optimistic soul, he still knew it was a good idea to see reason. I still continued to make logical assertions.
"Ch'ris I know that you want to be smart about this, and I know your scared, I am too. Not just for ourselves, but for Jenny, and Rachelle, and all those other clans Zell-oah is preparing to make war with. I agree we could've been smarter about this, but what has been done has been done. I just want to act now before it's to late." I explained with worry in my face. I followed with a motivating and partially insulting question that I knew was guaranteed to work. "Don't you care enough about Rachelle to do something stupid just to save her?" I could see a look of brave anger fill his eye, and smartly prepared for him to retaliate, which he didn't. I could tell I hurt his feelings, but he saw what I was trying to do and had the sense not to take it personally.
"How is it ,Kjon, that you make no sense, yet at the same time you are one of the most sensible Yatja I know?" Ch'ris asked in mild irritation.
"Just the way I am Ch'ris." I explained.
"Is this another thing the Oomans have taught you?" He asked smartly.
"Kind of. It's in their nature. If you've lived with them as long as I have, it tends to rub off on you." I explained. I heard Ch'ris growl a sigh. "Hey look at it this way, would you like to die saving someone you love, and going out in a blaze of glory?" I restated, this time in a more motivating denotation.
"Your wisdom is baffling my friend, but I understand it. And yes, I would like to die saving my life-mate." He stated.
"Look at it this way also. We may not believe in each others deities, but neither of them have let us down. Let's keep our faith in them and put it to the test. It might not get us through unharmed, but it may help get us and the girls out of this mess alive." I postulated. Ch'ris was a worshipper of one of the Yatja gods. While I did not believe in his faith, as did not believe in mine, we both had respect for our beliefs and prayed for each other. This was something that Ch'ris admired about me, and something I also liked about him as my friend.
One thing I didn't like, which I found out as we were suiting up, was his pet. I saw a shadow warrior eye us curiously across the corner of the armory. My instincts took over and I attacked, calling it out to Ch'ris as I did. I triggered my wristblades and swung at the creature, which pounced off the wall and landed behind me. I moved around to face the creature as it tackled me to the ground and began to claw at me, tearing my mask off as it did. The shadow's tail spike had been cut off, but the wound had healed and formed a stump. Most of the creature's tail was still attached to it's body, and although it could not use it's tail as a weapon to kill, it was effectively using it as another appendage, which it used to wrap around me. It's head had a mark branded on it. It was the same symbol as the one on Ch'ris' and Rachelle's bio-masks. The symbol was that of a chestburster with four intersecting lines surrounding it.
"Stop Kjon! It is mine!" Ch'ris cried out as I grappled with the warrior. I heard him as he called out, and stopped attacking. I kept my hold on the beast, but I was to perplexed by what Ch'ris had just said to continue
"What?!" I exclaimed in bewilderment, as I held the shadow back. I felt it claw my torso, which caught me off guard. I roared in pain and anger, before I punched the shadow in the face and kicked it off. It hit the wall hard and fell but quickly recovered for an attack, as did I.
"Stop it Sa-v'ar! No!" We were about to charge each other before Ch'ris grabbed ahold of the shadow by one of it's dorsal tubes and softly moved his hand across the front of the creature's ridged head. "Please stop ,Kjon. Do not attack Sa-v'ar. She is mine." Ch'ris explained in a calm panic as he tried to separate us. "It is alright Sa-v'ar he is only afraid of you." Ch'ris said trying to comfort his pet. The creature hissed in disagreement sensing my aggression.
"That THING is your pet?!" I bellowed.
"If that is what you and the Oomans would call it, yes! This is Sa-v'ar." Ch'ris said trying to keep us both calm, which I was not.
"Are you serious?! Do you know what that is?!" I spouted.
"I understand you're discomfort, but trust me she is harmless, so long as you do not threaten me or her." Ch'ris tried to explain.
I would never describe or call Ch'ris a "Killer Predator" because he was my friend, and because of his honorable intentions, but given his ability to control a shadow, I couldn't really think of any thing else to call him.
Killer Predators are unique bad blood Yatjas who have found a way to control and even pacify a xenomorph. While bad bloods are mostly dishonorable criminal Yatja that are despised by honorable Yatja society, Killer Predators are hated even more so for their ability to control the shadows. They are able to take control of them by using a gas that is mixed with pheromones from the shadow's secretion to form a liquid. This liquid is used by the Killer Predators to make the shadows passive and controllable.
Killer Predators were first discovered by Oomans in the early 2200s when an army of them attacked a mining planet. An army of honorable Yatja and marines then joined forces ,with the help of Machiko Noguchi, and they managed to fight them off. I'd read up on some files about her which were quite interesting. They also gave some information about the Killer Predators and how they used this liquid pheromone that they put inside of a special glove, which they use to control the shadows. Other than that, they are just the same as other bad bloods who possess the same technology as all other Yatja do. Now while Oomans first encountered them in the 2200s, their history in Yatja text dates back thousands of years. I won't go into any detail about it, but let's just say that there is a very good reason for why they are despised the way they are. Most of them at least.
Ch'ris didn't have a special glove on him, and simply used his bare hand to pet at the shadow like it was a dog. I don't know how he managed to keep such good control over it, but it listened to him with loyalty and obedience. That still didn't make me any less upset.
"Ch'ris I know you are my friend, but what the fck?!" I exclaimed.
"Please ,Kjon. I promise you Sa-v'ar will not hurt you or anyone else. She was just curious, and you attacked her, so she fought back. I should have told you sooner and I am deeply sorry, but I swear to you she means no harm." I kept my eyes locked angrily on the shadow as it continued to hiss at me.
"Those creatures aren't pets! I've spent the last nineteen years killing these things! They are evil! They killed my mother!" I explained hatefully.
"Kjon, I promise you she shall not harm you or anyone else, unless I say, or if she or I are attacked. I can assure you she is harmless." I thought that last part was bullsht. Although given how good a friend Ch'ris was to me and that this shadow he kept as a pet was just watching and made no move to attack, even though it had the opportunity to do so, I gave Ch'ris the benefit of the doubt.
"Are you positive that that thing won't hurt me or anyone else?!" I asked.
"I promise you. Perhaps she can even assist us in this hunt." Ch'ris stated. I gave him a sharp, but relaxed look. I looked back down at the shadow as it pouted in protective aggression.
I thought about our situation and the girls. They needed us, and with what we were about to do, we needed as much help as we could get. I mulled the idea over furiously. I would never team up with a shadow, but in this circumstance it looked like I had little choice. Jenny was in trouble and if I wanted to see her again outside of a body bag, I'd have to. I wouldn't like it but I just had to suck it up, which I did as humbly as I could. "Fine, I promise you I won't kill it. But if I see this thing attack me or anyone else besides a bad blood, especially Jenny, don't expect me to just let it go. It's for your sake that this thing isn't dead right now. I don't trust it, but I do trust you as my friend. Just keep that damn thing on a tight leash and I won't bother it." I said sternly.
"I shall Kjon. Please do not harm my hard meat. She is special. I know she would never harm me or Rachelle." That didn't mean IT wouldn't try to harm me or Jenny, but like I said, Ch'ris was my friend, and I knew his intentions were honest.
I picked up my bio-mask the little sht had scraped off, patched myself up, finished suiting up, and we set out. Ch'ris had me rub his pheromone mixture on myself so Sa-v'ar would imprint on me and see that I was not a threat. I begrudgingly did so. I could tell by the way the thing continued to look at me suspiciously that it still didn't trust me. I still didn't trust it either, but our mutual trust for Ch'ris kept us from tearing each other to pieces. I cursed myself for making that stupid promise to Ch'ris and his pet shadow.
There was no time for us to pray, but I said one mentally in my head, fingering Taylor's crucifix as I did so. I prayed that God would continue to keep Jenny and Rachelle safe, that Ch'ris and I would have the strength, skill, and wit we needed to take down the bad bloods, and that I didn't break my promise not to kill his pet despite how much I hated having not to. I prayed with desperation and sincere faith. I think I even mouthed some of the words. In my mind the voice told me that it would be alright just the same as it had before. "Hey, it's okay bud. You know what to do, just do it. Don't worry. They're okay. We'll keep them safe for you. Everything will be alright." I also made sure to thank Him for the reassuring voice inside my head.
Once we were close, we took a quick break to "mud up." Or at least me and Sa-v'ar did. Ch'ris would need to stay visible so things wouldn't look to suspicious. We knew that Zell-oah was going to be onto us no matter how hard we'd try to pull this off, but we still needed to try for the girls. All we could hope for was that Ch'ris could stall his sister long enough to allow me to get the girls away to safety, while Sa-v'ar gave us cover when we needed it. At least they wouldn't be expecting her probably. Ch'ris had her mud up with me so her pheromones couldn't be detected. She was a little hesitant at first, refusing to go in to the mudhole, probably because she was worried she'd lose sight of the surrounding pheromones, accidently get stuck in the mud, or that I'd pull her in. I remembered thinking that if she didn't comply to what her master ordered I would drag her in myself, Jason Voorhees style. She did comply though, which kept me from having to be antagonistic, and we continued.
I made sure to keep my distance from Ch'ris, while staying close enough to him to keep an eye on him. Ch'ris had Sa-v'ar stay with me, which she obediently did so. She was still cautious of me as was I of her, but we managed to continue without any hostility between us. Once we made it to the area we carefully examined it from a distance before proceeding. We knew better than to go in without being careful. Somewhat fortunately we found the position to be clear of hostiles. Unfortunately Zell-oah and her cronies had gotten wise and kept their trail clear. Sa-v'ar did help us work around that problem and followed the bad bloods pheromone trail like a bloodhound. I kept Ch'ris notified and we continued our hunt unabated.
Once signs of Yatja activity became more clear to us, we began to be more careful. Sa-v'ar and I took out the unsuspecting Yatja look outs that we encountered. We needed to get as close in as possible before we engaged.
"Alright Ch'ris I have eyes on the bad bloods base camp. I'm going to go in before I call you out." I told Ch'ris as I spotted the bad bloods base. It was a tiny ravine with some caves underneath the surface, and a waterfall. Ch'ris and I could tell this was their primary area of operations given how many of them there were, how low-key and rural the setting was, and by their ships that were stationed somewhat haphazardly above the camp.
I stealthily crept to the bottom without making a single sound to alert the bad bloods. Sa-v'ar kept a quiet presence as she followed me. I didn't like the fact that my back up consisted of a shadow, but I kept my negativity as low as I could. The shadow wasn't doing half bad all things considered, nor had she turned on me and head bitten me yet, although I chalked that one up to Ch'ris' pheromone formula. Once I was in I gave Ch'ris the go-ahead and he went.
"On it ,Kjon. Stay safe, and don't get us all caught if you can." He requested sarcastically.
"I won't, at least I won't try to anyway. You just keep most of them busy including that btch sister of yours, and I'll get the girls out." I replied. I stuck around long enough to make sure our distraction had worked and triggered most of them out of the ravine. Sa-v'ar and I carefully and stealthily took out the few that stood behind. I had to give Ch'ris' shadow some credit, it was a loyal beast, and an effective hunter. I made sure not to kill any of the bad bloods, as I still operated under my rules of not killing Oomans and Yatja. Sa-v'ar on the other hand showed no such mercy. After we cleared most of the area out I surveyed the area closely checking every spot Jenny and Rachelle could be kept.
I found them in a underpass that sat next to the waterfall's edge. I was horror-struck by the image I found. Zell-oah had released two facehuggers on them and were currently in the process of impregnation. Zell-oah wasn't just going to kill them, she was going to make it as agonizing and horrific as possible. Luckily the fachuggers were still on their faces so we had time to get them out and remove the embryos before they grew their cancerous growths. I didn't know how long they had been like this though and moved quickly. I couldn't notify Ch'ris, so I had to wing this myself. I carefully began taking hold of Jenny and Rachelle, but before I could do so I felt a intense pain in my side. I heard Sa-v'ar struggling against something. She had been caught in a net launcher while I had been stabbed. Some of the bad bloods had used my mud camouflage trick against me, and had somehow managed to avoid being detected by Sa-v'ar. I looked down at my lower right side and saw two wristblades jutting out my front. They were then violently ripped out of me and I collapsed weakly to the ground. Sa-v'ar tried to get out of the net trap, but couldn't. Thankfully their nets were still set to catching whatever they caught and did not kill it.
"We have them ,Zell-oah. What shall we do with them?" The one bad blood who'd stabbed me asked curiously as he knelt over me.
"Bring him and the hard meat to me. I should like to met this hunter friend of my brother's in person." I heard Zell-oah speak through the bio-mask. Sa-v'ar and I were brought to Zell-oah as requested. Ch'ris was kneeling down in front of two bad bloods who'd tied his wrists together. You can guess just how surprised he was when his pet and I were dragged out in front of them. "Not so unpredictable now, are we my friends?" Zell-oah said tauntingly to us.
"Fck you btch!" I told Zell-oah. She turned around to face me with interest.
She was tall, taller than I was. I should point out that a lot of female Yatja are like this. They either grow to be as tall as most males are at about seven feet, or they can grow to about eight and sometimes even nine feet tall.
She had on a jawed bio-mask, which were commonly worn by bad blood berserker Predators. She took it off to reveal her face, which was actually kind of small. She was mostly all white, but had some blue accents on the back of her head that extended to her dreadlocks and continued down around her arms, thighs, and breasts.
"So this is the mighty Schaefer Abomination. It is a great honor to meet you in person at long last." She spoke, as she pulled my bio-mask off. Her mandibles curved in a satisfied smile as she saw me. "And a handsome specimen he is."
"Get fcked btch!" I cussed her out.
"Just as feisty as I remember you." She spoke seductively. She was a very attractive Yatja I will say, although as you could already tell, sex was the last thing on my mind, especially with her. It would be a cold day in hell before I ever thought of doing that. "Although I will say I am slightly disappointed. I expected a being of your reputation to be taller." I flared my mandibles angrily and hissed at her. "I think I shall keep you alive for keepsake. I could use a warrior of your skill." Her voice purred, I could tell she definitely wanted me for what I suspected.
"If you think you're going to even get the chance to think about screwing me, forget it!" I roared.
"I wasn't actually thinking that, although that is an idea." She laughed. I kept my eyes locked on her nastily. "But in all seriousness. I am actually very pleased to meet you ,Kjon. I've heard much about you. You are a very interesting individual. Without your interference I never would have had such a difficult time of capturing my brother. Thankfully for me I am not as stupid as you suspected I was." She said smacking me in the face. "It is a real shame I had to dispose of your friend and Rachelle like I have, or at least your Ooman friend. She was a very interesting specimen worth studying, but she was very uncooperative. Still for what good she was in our negotiation, or lack thereof, I did enjoy tormenting you with her." She said vibrating her mandibles in a giggle as she kicked me repeatedly.
"Well it's a damn shame you turned out the way you did, because you an even bigger a btch than your grandpa." I said insultingly. Which earned me an even harder kick in the face.
"Do not mock him Abomination! He was a great and honorable leader! You have no right to speak of him with such indignity!" She sneered a hiss, finally dropping her stupid smile.
"Oh! Did I hurt the poor baby's wittle ucky ducky fewwings?!" I said humorously in a childish tone of voice, sputtering a laugh after I did so. The beating her subordinates gave me was worth it just to see the stupid look she gave as I said that.
"Your more of an aggravation than I thought ,Schaefer! I can only imagine how annoying your ancestors must have been to all those other hunters." She said displeased with my insulting her.
"Leave him alone ,Zell-oah! This is between you and I! You have me now there is no need for this! Please just let him and his Ooman friend go!" Ch'ris begged.
"You honestly expect me to let such a dangerous captive lose?! After everything he's done against me?! After what I've done to his Ooman friend and your mate, do you expect me to be so foolish as to let him simply go?! You are stupider than I thought brother." She said as she continued to beat and kick me. "Besides his Ooman friend has been impregnated. There is no hope that she will make it long from now anyway." Zell-oah said tauntingly as she stopped beating me and slowly began approaching her brother.
"YOU DID NOT!" He screamed as he realized just what she had done to Jenny, and more importantly to him, Rachelle. Zell-oah let him scream and cry for a moment before she continued her monologue.
"I have. And now while this little game of ours has been fun, I think it is time it ends here." Zell-oah said as she flexed her wrist, causing her singular wristblade to eject from it's gauntlet.
"Why go through such trouble just to capture me only to kill me afterward?!" Ch'ris asked with tears streaming down his frowning face for the loss of his wife, little did he actually know she was still alive.
"Because I just wanted you to know what agony I felt for grandfather after what you, father, and all those other dishonorable elders did to him. I also wanted to see the look on your face as I took everything away from you." Zell-oah confessed smiling menacingly as she prepared to strike him down. Ch'ris' head fell weakly as he wept bitterly for Rachelle. "Goodbye Ch'ris." Zell-oah said before I arrested her attention.
"Kill me first." I requested as I stealthily moved my hand towards my wristbracer.
"What?" Zell-oah questioned.
"I said I want you to kill me first." I answered. Zell-oah and her posse looked at me stupidly like I'd seriously just asked that. "Come on, what are you scared?" I asked in a somewhat insulting manner.
All of the bad bloods gasped and looked at each other like a train wreck had just happened. Zell-oah simply spat out a laugh, "Are you serious?" Zell-oah asked perplexed as if I'd just gone insane. She looked at her group who shrugged stupidly. I was putting on quite an amusing show. I saw Ch'ris look up at me out of the corner of my eye. He could sense I was up to something and continued his crying.
"Come on, come on. Do it. Do it! Come on! Come on! Kill me! I'm here! Kill me! I'm here! Kill me! Come on! Kill me! I'm here! Come on! Do it now! Kill me!" I shouted like a mad Ooman.
Zell-oah let her brother go and nonchalantly approached me. She prepared her wristblades as I kept screaming for her to kill me. I could see she was a little disappointed, but given how defiant I had been I could see she was glad to soon be rid of me. Little did she realize I had overloaded my wristbracer's energy. I didn't activate my self-destruct sequence mind you, but what happened next was definitely explosive. I swung my left arm at her managing to hit her in an unmentionable area before the wristbracer's energy overloaded, causing a electric current to diffuse through us painfully before blowing us away in an explosive shock. I landed next to Sa-v'ar and speedily freed her by swiping at the net with my smart disc. Yes these idiots were dumb enough to leave me with my weapons. What should they have expected would happen.
Sa-v'ar exploded out in a ferocious display, before charging and attacking every bad blood in sight. Ch'ris followed my lead and disabled the two bad bloods who were stupidly letting go of him to help subdue Sa-v'ar. Given the fact he had his hands tied around his back, Ch'ris was still an outstanding fighter.
Zell-oah watched shocked as the scene unfolded before her very eyes. She then looked at me with a furious look of rage.
"Dumb-ass!" I called her out with a smirk on my mandibles. "You really aren't as stupid as I thought. You are much much stupider!" She angrily recovered and limped toward me. Ch'ris had managed to get his tied arms in front of him, and smacked Zell-oah in the face. He then came over to me. I used my smart disc to cut the binds on his wrists, before he helped me to my feet.
"Jenny and Rachelle are still alive. I saw them, but they need attention fast." I told him. Ch'ris' face lit up with hopeful surprise as I said that.
"We must get them to my ship, quickly. There is a medical pod there we can use to remove the hard meats inside them." He said with hopeful joy.
"Then go get them! They are over by the waterfall!" I ordered him.
"Not without you ,friend." Ch'ris said helping me to my feet.
"I'll be fine, just get Jenny and Rachelle to that pod!" I exclaimed as I jabbed a health shard into my chest. I felt a surge of energy and strength fill me as I did so. "Go now! Save your wife! I'll hold them off!" I ordered him once more giving him an angry look. Ch'ris nodded to me with a smile on his face, before whistling. Sa-v'ar finished off the bad blood she was killing with a quick head bite and followed her master, who ran to the waterfall. Ch'ris quickly tied Jenny and her bio-helmet I'd crafted for her to Sa-v'ar and made some hand signals to the shadow, telling it to go back to the ship. The xenomorph hissed in compliance before taking off on all fours to the direction of the ship. Ch'ris then took his wife and began running off in the direction his shadow had went. I didn't like that he'd entrusted my girl to a xenomorph, but after everything I'd seen that little sht do, I was able to tolerate it so long as it didn't hurt Jenny.
I turned my attention to the remaining bad bloods, pulled out my machete, and charged at them. The first one that I attacked got his arms cut off between the humerus and radius bones. Another one tried to help his friend, but I moved in time to dodge a strike he made with his dagger. That guy was luck and only got his hand sliced off. I followed by stabbing him in the abs repeatedly, which was enough to down him. I dropped him right as another one lunged himself at me. I caught him and grappled with him for a bit, before I saw two other Yatja recover and break out their spear rifles. I used the guy I was grappling with as a meat shield, as his buddies began firing at me. Before you say I killed him, I just want to say I did nothing to him and it was his friends dumb-asses who killed him. I just used the guy as protection.
He fell limp and I charged forward with his body, slamming into the two Predators. I dropped the body of their friend down on one of them giving me the time I needed to react to the other as he brought his spear rifle up to me. I grabbed him and his weapon and accidently pointed it down at his friend's head. The bad blood wildly pulled the trigger and laid three spears in his friend's brain. I then punched the bad blood in the face before smacking him with the butt of his rifle and hacked at him in his right clavicle. I then swung him into another Yatja who dropped down on me, which protected me from a strike with his wristblades. I kicked him in the groin before swiping at his pectoral muscles, cutting deeply into him. I kicked him away and moved my machete into my left hand in time to block a bad blood who swung at me with a machete of his own. I triggered my wristblades and shoved them deep into his abs. He fell weakly, but I managed to bring him up in time before one of his friends shot at me with his plasma caster. The targeting system was lined up on my face, which was then targeted on the bad blood's back as I brought him up. Luckily for him he had armor on his back which absorbed most of the kinetic energy being discharged. We flew back as the shot impacted and I quickly threw the bad blood off of me. I saw another bad blood charge after me as the one who'd shot at me lined up for another shot. I threw my machete at the one that charged at me hitting him in the upper right area of his pectoral muscle below the clavicle, between his ribs and the area his humerus bone connected to his torso. I then grabbed my smart disc and used it to shield my face from a plasma shot.
The force blew me back again, causing me to land somewhat softly on a boulder. Thankfully aside from some blast marks that could be easily cleaned off the smart disc remained undamaged. Two more Predators joined their friend and began to barrage me with several plasma shots. I managed to duck behind a large tree, but the shooters continued to lay down suppressing fire for their buddy who I put my machete in. The Yatja pulled my machete out and advanced toward my position. I saw him as he tried to flank me, and I flexed my wrist causing the M240 to release. I pulled out a gas canister for it, which I'd intelligently kept around my leg. Right as the mother fcker who was flanking me, jumped out to drive my machete into me, I blasted him with my Incinerator Unit. Unlike me the bad blood wasn't as fireproof as I was, and howled in pain as I torched him. I broke out my Desert Eagle which I'd kept in my pocket as a last resort ranged weapon and shot my last magazine full of hollow points at two other Yatja, nailing them in the knees.
"What is wrong with you you fools?! Get him!" Zell-oah shrieked as she held her crotch, and was helped up by another bad blood.
The bad bloods just kept coming after me stupidly. I have to be honest I was having some fun with the fight, although I was scared shtless, because who wouldn't be in a combat situation such as this. I quickly grabbed my machete from the Yatja I'd torched, sheathed it, and then broke out Sexual Tryrannosaurus. I slipped a magazine into the pulse rifle before racking back the slide and downing five other bad bloods. I then took the wristbracer from the Yatja I'd burned and stuffed it in my pocket before charging out of my hiding spot and turning my sights on the three bad bloods who were shooting at me. I emptied the rest of my mag before launching two grenades at the three bad bloods. They were blown away by the explosions and weakly fell to the ground. The shrapnel and concussive force managed to keep them downed. I then grabbed my bio-mask before charging off into the jungle with the rest of the bad bloods following after me.
I managed to gain enough distance on them allowing me to activate the self-destruct sequence on the wristbracer I'd taken. I set it to the lowest setting I could so I wouldn't kill any of them, but kept the explosive force to a high enough level where it would down them. I threw the wristbracer, and ran like hell away from there. I managed to find a spot to take cover in and sat their with my arms shielding my ears. I grunted as I felt the force of the explosive vibration. I squinted a little as dirt and debris rained down on me. I looked behind myself to see the wounded, but still living bodies of the bad bloods who I'd weakened with my explosion. Zell-oah had somehow managed to stay outside the blast radius and saw her decimated forces.
I blew her a kiss jokingly, before running my chuckling ass off in the direction of Ch'ris' ship. I saw her give me a hateful glare, as she breathed heavily in rage filled aggression before hearing her roar. I couldn't help but continue to laugh maniacally at her expense as I ran away.
Okay I'm finally finished with yet another chapter. This one I had to take a while to finish, but thankfully I managed to get it out when I wanted to. I also had a lot less trouble and a whole lot more fun with it this time around especially on the action sequence that took place at the end. Also, If I haven't mentioned this before already Ch'ris and Rachelle were inspired by two friends I chatted with on Xenopedia. They also had a pet xenomorph with them, which I thought was pretty interesting, who I also incorporated into the story as Sa-v'ar. She's another main character in the series who I also sort of have special plans for in the future. Also I felt it would be interesting to add her in because of how much Kjon hates xenomorphs, because they killed his mom, and I thought "what if he had to team up with one." I think that it turned out pretty well. Also Thank you again for the encouraging comments NeverNeverGirl. As always they have kept me encouraged and motivated to continue working on the series. I must also point out that I still have A LOT of work to do yet before this story is even close to finished. I can thankfully say that I am getting closer and closer to the half way point of it. Also I read your story NeverNeverGirl and I think it was pretty good. I really liked it and I think that if you tried you could make a really good AVP fanfic of your own. Also I encourage that you read this chapter while listening to the Main Predator Theme by Alan Silvestri, it is really really kick ass. Anyway enough said I hope you have a Happy New Year, and now I'm gonna take a break. Enjoy. :)
