Raza whistled as he dropped two more crates down in front of the entrance to the forge. He had been helping his father and the others unload supplies all morning. They had managed to come across a rather large haul or rare materials, and even if they hadn't asked him, he figured they could use all the muscle they could get.

He wondered what kind of plans his father had in store with them. Puff had a reputation as the best smith in mewni. He could fix what most would have considered unfixable, and it seemed like he always had a never before seen idea just waiting to be revealed. Raza had always loved watching his dad work in the forge. Not only was it just cool, but you could really tell he loved what he did.

Raza liked to as well, but he didn't think he held a candle to his dad. He might have been his son, and he may have taught him everything he knew, but those were still pretty big shoes to fill.

"Hey Raza! You busy?"

The goliath turned his head and saw a nearby knight waving towards him. He waved back. "Oh, hey. Need some help with the next shipment? I'll be right there."

The knight shook her head. "Nah, you got a visitor. Some cat beastkin girl with weird clothes is asking for you," he said.

Raza looked confused for a moment. A Beastkin girl with weird clothes? Who in the world could that have… wait, there was only one person he could think of. "Yo Razzmatazz. What's up?" Raza jumped and then looked behind him to see Nenet sitting on one of the crates he'd just set down.

The young titan demi-goddess mix smirked up at him as he placed a hand over his chest. "Oh god, you scared me…" he said, trying to collect himself. The girl looked amused at just how jumpy the big guy was. "Hey there Nenet. What brings you around here? Were you looking for Lars?"

She shook her head. "Nah, didn't you hear the knight in shimmering armor over there. I came here to find you," she said pointing.

"Me?" She nodded. "Uh… can I ask why?" usually when she came to mewni it was to find Lars, who he and the others were more often than not tagging along with. He didn't know why she would come here just to seek him alone out.

Nenet nodded. "Ok, Razzmatazz. Listen up. I gotta job for you and don't try to distract me with that cute face yours," she said jumping up on top of the crate.

Raza nodded. "O-Ok…"

She reached out and suddenly grabbed his face, pulling her down so he was now eye level with her. "You can forge weapons right?" she asked.

"Y-Yes," he answered nodding, blushing at how close she was.

"Are you any good?" she asked.

Raza thought for a moment. He certainly wasn't bad at it. At least not according to the people he forged weapons for. But good by their standards and good by his and his father's were two different things. "Um… well…"

"Yes or no big guy," Nenet said, cutting him off.

Raza thought for another moment, and then nodded. "…Yes."

Nenet smiled. "Awesome! Because I wanna commission two things from you!" she said holding up two fingers. "My dad told me how badass weapons from mewni are, and my brother and friend are always going on about the sword our Uncle Micah got from King Astro. I was looking to get them a little something for themselves. Think you can do it?"

Raza hummed. Nenet was his friend, and he wanted to help her out. But he also wanted to make sure she got the best quality she could get. Her father was close friends with King Astro after all. He thought perhaps Maybe he should go get his father to-

"He can do it…"

Raza felt a hand pat his shoulder, and then looked over to see his father standing next to him. Nenet whistled as she looked up at the hulking armor clad knight. "Damn, they really do grow them big in mewni…" she muttered.

"Hey dad," Raza said.

"You can use the forge today," Puff said as he handed him the key to his main forge room. He then turned to leave. "Be sure to clean up after…"

Raza looked after his father as he made his way off. He was really just… letting him have free reign of his personal forge? "Sweet!" Nenet said. "So we can get to making my weapons, right?"

The young goliath looked down at the key, and then gripped it tightly in his fist. He nodded towards her. "Yeah, I can do it. What did you need made?" he asked, a smile now across the young titan's face.

Nenet watched as Raza hammered away at the sword on the table. To his surprise, she had been unbothered by the intense heat in his father's forge. But given her powers and abilities that wasn't too surprising.

She hummed as he watch dump the searing hot rapier in a barrel of water nearby, sending a cloud of steam shooting up into the air. While the whole smithing process had been pretty interesting, the view she was more interested in was the shirtless goliath performing it.

"Alright, it's finished," Raza said holding the sword high into the air. In his hands it was rather small, but he'd based it off of what Nenet told him, so it should have been perfectly sized for whoever this Dylan guy was. "I used ores from the Cloud Kingdom. Very light and quick, but still durable."

He then reached over and grabbed the book holder he'd crafted for her brother. "For this one, I had to get a little help with the leatherwork, but the cover is made of a sturdy fire resistant metal. It's got traces of a special metal used to craft dimensional scissors. It should help with summoning magic."

Nenet looked over the items and smiled. "Nice big guy. You really put a lot of thought into these bad boys," she said approvingly.

"That's not all. Since you told me your brother and that other guy have divin genes, I thought I added something else too. Traces of Avalon Steel."

Nenet raised an eyebrow. "For real? That's shit's super rare, isn't it?"

The goliath nodded. "A very rare one. From an island on earth, with Oberon lives." Nenet knew about Oberon. She had never met the guy, but she heard he was dangerous. Her aunt Dai Tai referred to him as the 'God among gods' once. "Avalon steel resonates with divine magic more than any other material we know. Or at least that's what I heard anyway. I only used a little since it's really limited, but it should help them out. Plus it's way sturdy. I don't see these breaking anytime soon."

Nenet whistled. "Damn big guy. You really went and pulled out all the stops. I know I made the right call coming to you. You're the best big man," she said punching his side.

Raza blushed and rubbed the back of his head. "Oh, uh, I just did the best that I could. I mean, I'm sure my dad would have done a better job but… I can't just be in his shadow forever, you know," he said. When his father told him he could do it, he wasn't saying it to make him feel better. He'd just said it as a fact. He knew he could do it, and he didn't want to prove his dad wrong.

If he was going to take over the forge and help Lacerta out as king some say he was going to have to start taking charge of things and standing on his own.

"Well it seems like you got your shit together to me, big guy," Nenet said, grabbing onto the sword. She was almost tempted to keep the thing for herself. If she didn't have a weapon of her own already she might have commissioned one for herself. "Now, how about we settle the payment. I brought a bunch of gold from back home. But first I need to take care of something."

Raza tilted his head and looked at her confused. "What is-?"

Nenet suddenly reached up and grabbed him around the next, pulling him down into a kiss. Raza's eyes went wide and his face heated up as Nenet deepened the kiss. Raza was stunned for a second, but then reached down and grabbed her around the wait. He lifted her up and then kissed her back. The two deepened the kiss, until eventually they had to break apart for air.

The goliath tried to catch his breath as Nenet hummed. "Damn, I've been waiting to do that for a while. Did everyone ever tell you that you're sexy as hell when you're working?" she asked, smirking at him.

"I… Uh…?" Raza looked like a complete mess as he tried to collect himself.

Nenet giggled and cupped her face. "Then again, this side of you is also pretty nice too."
