Chapter 15: Followers
Finding an empty compartment doesn't take too long and I watch as the others put their luggage up. Once they get done with that Hyde looks at me. I'm standing casually in the doorway, looking into the crowded compartment. Hyde frowns a bit before asking in a confused tone, "Aren't you going to put your luggage up, Shock?"
"I think I'd prefer to find a different compartment. This one is a bit too crowded for me." I say nervously and they nod. Three years of freedom got them over their Claustrophobia, but I'm not quite as lucky. I spot Hermione heading this way, looking frustrated, and gesture for her to come over. She does and I smile at her, "I don't think the others would mind you sitting with them. The compartment will expand to fit you."
"You aren't going to sit with them?" she asks in a confused tone.
"No, I, um, I have Claustrophobia. I can't sit in a compartment with eleven other people. Do you mind taking my place?" I ask and she gives me an understanding look.
"Sure, thanks." she says before moving to sit next to Aeolus.
"Have a nice ride, guys." I say before walking away from them. As I'm looking for a different compartment I see a fifteen year old girl with a prefect badge talking with some seventh years.
"When's the first meeting this year, Nera?" one of the seventh years ask and I pause to listen to them, curious about what meeting they're talking about.
"This Saturday." the prefect tells them, she has a Danish accent. "That will only change if something big happens." she then seems to notice that I'm watching them because she turns to look at me and smiles as she says, "Hello, I'm Venera Facetti, a Slytherin Prefect. Did you need something?"
"No, sorry, I just heard you talking and got curious." I tell her, smiling a bit, "I was just looking for a compartment."
"Oh, that's fine. We were just talking about a meeting some students come too." she says, "We follow the same religion so we meet in order to make sure everyone has been paying proper respects to the goddess whose path we follow and things like that."
"Oh. That's interesting. Out of curiosity what is the goddesses name?" I ask.
"Oh you probably never heard of her." one of the seventh years tell me. "She's been forgotten by most people. She only has about three hundred followers."
I tilt my head and check the amount of people who follow my path, finding that three hundred and eighty eight people follow my path. "Would her name happen to be Leah Odinsdotter?" I ask and their eyes widen a bit. "She has three hundred and eighty eight followers world wide."
"Are you a follower of hers?" the prefect, Venera, asks curiously.
I smirk a bit and say, "No, I don't exactly follow her...I'm just someone who knew her."
"What?" Venera asks in a confused tone.
"In my last life I knew Leah Odinsdotter very well. I remembered it last night." I say before frowning, "I should find a compartment to sit it. Excuse me."
"You want to sit with us in the Slytherin compartment?" one of the seventh years asks.
"I probably shouldn't." I say, "I'm not sorted yet."
"It's fine. You'll be with us as a guest." they tell me excitedly so I hesitate.
"If you answer a question of mine." I say and they nod. "Is Perenelle Flamel still alive?"
"Yeah." Venera says. "She and her husband Nicolas are both still alive. I've been learning how to be a priestess of Leah Odinsdotter from Perenelle for a few years now. We send letters to each other."
"Nice." I say with a smile. "It's good to know she's still around." I then look at the seventh years and say, "Ok I guess I can come and answer your questions."
They lead me to a different train car and sit me with three third years, moving to sit with me but I get back up and move out of their way, "Is something wrong?" one of the seventh years asks in a concerned tone, "I thought you would like the window seat."
"I can't be in tight spaces. Things that happened in this life that I'd rather not talk about." I say so they nod in understanding and sit down. I take the seat next to Venera and look at the three third years as I ask, "Who are they?"
"This is Tessa Zabini, Amanda Greengrass, and Andromeda Malfoy." Venera says while pointing at each of them. I nod in understanding.
"Nice to meet you all." I tell them before asking the seventh years, "What questions do you have?"
"You said you were the rebirth of someone, right?" Venera asks and I nod, "Can you tell us anything about your past life?"
"Ask me questions." I tell her. "I will tell you that I am the rebirth of a forgotten Asgardian."
"Will you answer honestly?" Venena asks.
"I swear." I tell them easily.
"Which Asgardian?" Tessa asks and I smirk.
"I'm not gonna make it easy on you." I tell her with a chuckle.
"Alright then, did you know Loki or Thor?" Andromeda asks.
"Yes." I say. "I knew both of them."
"Did they really sow Loki's mouth shut once?" Amanda asks.
"Yes, it was awful." I tell her with a frown.
"Did you know any of Loki's children?" Venera asks.
"Yes. I knew all of them but I mainly worked with Hella." I say.
"Did you have magic?" one of the seventh years asks.
"Yes." I say.
"Were you married?" another seventh year asks.
"Yes, I got married to my soulmate." I say.
"Did you know Odin?" Venera asks.
"Yeah." I say simply.
"You already said you knew Lady Leah, but how well did you know her?" a seventh year asks.
"I know all her secrets." I say while tilting my head.
"Were you her wife?" Tessa asks.
"No, that's Sif." I tell her and Amanda gives me a thoughtful look.
"When you're reborn you keep certain things from your past life, right? Like your name and personality." she asks and I nod. "What is your name?"
"Shock'n'awe." I say, smirking again.
"What is your human name?" she rephrases and I grin, knowing that she figured out.
"Leah Black." I tell her with a small chuckle.
"You're the rebirth of Lady Leah, aren't you?" Amanda asks.
I nod and they all gape at me, one of them opens their mouth to accuse me of lying so I flare my magic, which grew to be about the size of a magically drained eleven year old Asgardian when I remembered my past last night but is still more than enough to prove my identity especially since my aura changed to match my past life's aura as well.
"Good job." I tell Amanda, "You figured that out quickly." Immediately everyone at our table except me, Amanda, and Venera faint. I laugh before pulling out a set of different colored gel pens and asking, "Either of you want to help me?"
I set the pens on the table. I then grab one and start drawing on my followers faces for the rest of the ride, the other two conscious people at the table grabbing pens of their own and helping me.
