The heroes had finally arrived at the secret Restoration HQ. Jumping out the vehicle and walking towards the inconspicuous entrance, they crawled in and down the ladder. What they were met with was rather worrying. There was nothing. None of the members, none of the shiny new computers they had bought, none of the supplies. The entire facility had been cleaned out." This is the HQ? Looks- basic." Shadow stated rather sarcastically.

" What happened? Where is everyone!" Tails asked, all Sonic could give was an unknowing shrug.

" They must've evacuated." Vector guessed."Well at least there's enough space for the refugees." pointed out. The group agreed as they eventually settled down. It had been a little while since they were in a quiet and peaceful area. It was relaxing, almost reassuring.

It wasn't going to last though. Sonic was wandering through the empty halls until someone caught his attention. It was a person! Lying face down on a table, a walky talky in hand." Hey!" Sonic called to her, waking her up in a jitter.

"блин- uh, sorry." She said sheepishly. It was Lanolin the Sheep! At least he thinks it's her. Sonic never really spoke to her, nor did he really want to. She creeped him out and he didn't exactly know why. It didn't matter now though, he didn't have the freedom to judge.

" It's okay- where is everyone?"

"They left. Once the storm hit they got ready for the worst. They packed everything up and put it on RHQ beta."

Restoration Headquarters beta, RHQ beta was from what Sonic could remember a massive train, large enough to carry all of the HQ equipment and still have space for rescuees. They planned on using it on extreme threats to The Restoration and this was certainly a big threat.

" Well where were they going?"

" No were in particular, from what I heard, but the tracks go across the continent."

The conversation was slightly interrupted by Shadow." Thought the base was empty."

" I did too, HQ's on a train." Sonic replies, explaining the situation.

" Well when was the last time they reported back?"

Sonic and Shadow looked at Lanolin.

" They never did. I've been trying to get in touch, but- no dice."

Sonic looked at Shadow, a concern evident on his face." We have to find that train." Shadow said before walking off.

" I'll stay here and try to contact them. Maybe the news about you guys arriving will get them to call back?"

She suggested, looking back at the radio.

Sonic nodded before dashing off in the direction Shadow went. Lanolin sat silently for a few minutes. Waiting for the sounds of Sonic and his pals to exit the Base. She then turned the radio on, trying to reach Beta. After a few short minutes, she gave up. Just like last time, there was no response. In a situation like this people would normally get worried or anxious. Lanolin experienced none of these emotions, she didn't experience any at the moment. Tuning the radio for a few seconds she stops and begins to speak into the radio.

" Seelk."

"Lanolin! LanLan! Howyou doin' ?"

She didn't respond.

" Quite as always." The hedgehog on the other side of the radio said. His tone emits cocky arrogance.

" So care to explain to me what you've been up to lately? Haven't talked to me since this storm started."

" Yes, unlike you I have a life outside of this radio."

The radio was silent for a few seconds

" You got a lot of nerve." He said

"Anyway, you've yet to tell me why we haven't started our plan yet."

" There are many reasons Seelk. One of them being the storm you just mentioned."

" I don't see why the weather would affect the plan."

" Seelk, it's not a normal run of the mill storm. Eggman started it, and that means The Restoration is going to try and fix it, the problem is that it seems far worse than we thought it was." She explained.

"How much worse can it be from any other storm Lan?"

" Far worse, cities destroyed, ships sunk. The ball is in Eggman's court."

"Okay then why should we wait? We've got The Restoration with their pants down!"

"Yes and Eggman is definitely going to let two unprepared Demigods take over the world right?"

The radio went silent again." Look, if there is anything Sonic and his pals are good at, which isn't much, it's saving the world. We let them deal with Robotnik and then when they're done-"

"Then we can get into motion." Seelk interrupted." Fine I can wait." He caved." Good, now if you excuse me. I have a train to help find." She said before she adjusts the radio frequency back to the one of RHQ Beta.

" Beta? Beta HQ this is Alpha do you read?" She said, as usual she got no response. She sighs, as much as she pretends not to care about anything, about anyone, she does and while she doesn't quite realise it yet. She will soon, how soon however? That is a different story.

Espio, Vector and charmy are searching through the small town. Looking for any supplies, or beds, or clothing or anything really, they didn't find much. As they should've guessed, the locals had gathered everything useful when they left on the train. The group decided to give in and made their way back to HQ.

" Well, that was a waste of time!" Vector exclaimed disgruntled at how long it took them to get the very little supplies they were able to find.

" It's better than nothing." Espio bargained. "Yeah and besides, what right do we have to steal other peoples stuff?"

Vector sighed." It's a cruel world charms, you need to do what is needed to help others. And those escapees would've been really grateful if we came back with somethin'." he explained turning the corner towards the entrance.

" Well, where's the line?"

" What line?"

" When does helping others cross a boundary."

" It isn't charmy."

Nothing more was said as they entered the HQ.
