Littlefoot and his friends of always Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Chomper, Ruby and Shorty along with this time their respective family will like a river flow them across towards an unexpected new adventure where no one could think.

Chapter 4: Across in Time part 3

Let's see how Ducky and Spike's two adventures go shall we?

*Place Time Hole (To Past) - Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time Music here*

Ducky & Spike: "'Screams!'"

Current period: Past.

Like Littlefoot and Cera Ducky and Spike are launched a little bit towards the sky before they begins to fall towards the ground.

Ducky: "Oof!" Spike: "Eh!" they said when they reach the ground.

Spike then shakes his head to recover from the fall before he gets back on his four paws, then both looked around themselves to see their surroundings.

Ducky: "Where are we Spike? I do not like it when only the two of us are alone in a place we do not know, oh no, no, no"

Spike: "'Worried grunt'"

Ducky: "Oh I know Spike, you do not like it either but I am sure if we walk for sometime we will find another strange hole that will bring us back home"

Spike: "And then I would eat as much as I want" he said in his mind.

Spike began to slowly walk in front of him and lucky for them soon they heard a sound that, well sounded like a baby giggling, so Spike followed it until they reach a spot where they could see a nest in their sight of view with what it has to be the parents of what is in the nest which were seven baby Swimmers, but not just any kind of Swimmers, they were Bigmouths like Ducky.

Spike: "'Gasp'"

Ducky: "Oh look Spike! We are lucky! We are yep, yep, yep! I think we found mama already! But look, she looks younger, she is! She is!"

Spike began to get excited and was about to run towards Mama Swimmer, however Ducky managed to stop her somehow.

Ducky: "No Spike, I do not think this is a good idea for mama and papa to see us like that, especially since I think it is before I introduced you to my family as my new little brother even though you're taller and bigger than me, it is, it is 'giggle'"

Spike: "... Makes sense now that I think about it" he said in his mind.

Ducky: "I wonder what is mean for us to be here and see that, does that mean one of those baby Swimmers is me if we are here Spike?"

Spike: "Makes a grunt along with body movement that said I don't know'"

Suddenly however a slight tremor occured which made a mysterious hole appeared in the middle between the nest and the spot Ducky and Spike before it began to suck in three specific persons, those being Ducky, Spike and Baby Ducky, Papa Swimmer tried to reach for one of his daughters but he missed by an inches or two and fail his attempt of saving her, the hole dissapeared after that like all of the others for now.

Writer: "Once sucked in Ducky, Spike and Baby Ducky falled down again the vortex that was the time flow that were doing the way for them to the present but still not at their present"

Current period: Past back at the Land Before Time.

Ducky and Spike are once again launched a little bit towards the sky when the hole spit them out before they begins to fall towards the ground.

Ducky: "Oof!" Spike: "Eh!" they said when they reach the ground.

Spike then shakes his head to recover from the fall before he gets back on his four paws, then both looked around themselves to see their surroundings.

Ducky: "Where are we now Spike?"

Spike was about to quote unquote reply to what her adoptive older sister said but then.

Spike: "Huh?" he 'said' as he felt the feets of something or someone very small on his back.

Ducky: "Is there a problem Spike?"

Spike: "'Grunts a couple of times to explain'"

Writer: "It's a good thing Ducky perfectly understand Spike somehow"

Ducky: "Something on your back? 'looks behind her only to see Baby Ducky there on Spike's back' 'gasp' it is baby me Spike! It is! It is! What does she do here?"

Spike: "Makes a grunt along with body movement that said I don't know again'"

Ducky: "Well we have to care of me-I mean her until we get her back to our younger mama which mean I will be her mama until then, 'looks back at Spike in her position' and you can be her papa!"

Ducky: "... Wait no, that sounds wrong, it does, it does"

Writer: "It's sure damn is!"

Ducky: "That does not help to know where we are now though"

Spike: "'Sniffs a couple of times'"

Ducky: "What do you smell Spike? Is it food?"

Spike: "'Shakes his head a couple of times to say no then grunts a couple of times to explain'"

Ducky: "Something familiar about this place somehow but you do not know what? I cannot help you if you do not know what, nope, nope, nope, but maybe if we walk a little we will find the reason why this place feels somehow familiar, and when I mean we I mean you of course do the walking for me 'giggle'"

Spike: "You know I will not be your ride forever right Ducky?" he said in his mind.

Spike then began to slowly walk in front of him and luckily for them soon they heard a snoring sound that while it sounded young was loud.

Ducky: "Those sleeping sounds remind me of that bad time when I was mad at you Spike so it reminds me of bad memories, though you still do them 'giggle', I got over them and accept them"

Spike and Ducky got to a point where they could both see who was snoring only to be left in both surprise and shock when they saw Baby Spike sleeping on his first ever nest with Ducky with her back faced to them, younger than now but still a baby compared to the baby on Spike's back right now.

Ducky: "'Gasp' Look Spike! It is you as a baby back then and me when we made the way together with our soon to be friends Littlefoot, Cera and Petrie towards the Great Valley for the first time! Oh yes, yes, yes!"

Ducky: "Why are we here back then though? 'looks behind her to look at Baby Ducky for a moment before she looked back at Spike from her position' Maybe it has something to do with baby me being with us, 'looks back at Spike in her position' do you think we need to bring baby you back with us home instead of younger me and our younger friends?"

Spike: "Makes a grunt along with body movement that said I don't know once again'"

Ducky: "'Looks back towards Baby Spike' Oh no, no, no! And now younger Littlefoot, younger Cera and younger Petrie have arrived and I think if I remember right I began to explain the situation after Cera said where did you come from"

Writer: "And sure enough it was what it looks like from the two of them even though they were just far enough to not hear anything, and since the two couldn't read the mouth movements of younger Ducky the both couldn't tell if Ducky was right"

Ducky: "'Shakes her head to say no' This will not do, what are we going to do now that our younger friends are all here? They cannot see us, they cannot, they cannot, if only we had someway to distract them long enough to get baby you and leave before they see us, 'thinks and let out a gasp when she got an idea' I know Spike! Do your Sharptooth! You are really good at it, you are, you are!"

Writer: "Spike then thinks for a moment with is his face showing he was thinking to remember the time he did it in Land Before Time V: The Mysterious Island and how he did, once he think he got it again he tried it out"

Spike: "'Roar'"

Writer: "The result show that this quote unquote distraction worked perfectly because upon hearing it younger Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky and Petrie bolted away and ran as fast as they could to hide quickly from what they thought was a Sharptooth for sure, however Baby Spike had already go back to his nap long enough that he was already sleeping again so he didn't hear it, this thus create the perfect opportunity for Spike to run towards his baby self on his old nest, grabbed him with his tail as he stopped when he reach it and put him on his back before he bolted away"

Ducky: "Oh yes, yes, yes! It worked perfectly, I knew you could do it Spike! It was a great idea!"

Spike: "'Blushes slightly of embarassment thanks to the compliment Ducky just said to him'"

Ducky: "Now all we need is a strange hole again so it will bring us back home I hope, but where are we going to find that Spike?"

Spike: "Makes a grunt along with body movement that said I don't know once again'"

Spike then continued to run for moment until he was suddenly stopped by creepy beings like the one Littlefoot fought before they got sucked in by the first strange hole, however they were smaller, less intimidating than it and purple instead of green like it.

Ducky: "'Shakes her head to say no' Oh no, no, no! We cannot go further thanks to those creepy beings, what are we going to do now Spike?"

Writer: "Spike then took a stance that meant he will defend himself and fight back if they're attack'"

Ducky: "You are going to fight them Spike? I do not want you to be hurt oh no, no no! So be careful okay?"

Spike: "'Nods his head to say yes' Mmh-hmm"

Spike: "'Grunt'"

*Place Battle - Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time [OST] here*

Writer: "So Spike fought a series of couple of those small purple creepy beings two against one, each time encountering them soon after the last fight once he continued to find a way back home, the second fight made him level up and the ninth one as well, this is of course to catch Spike back up to speed to Mario's level AKA Littlefoot since he's normally with him as soon as the time hole spit him out so here goes the level ups and the bonuses"

Spike Level Up! LV 2 HP 16+1/ Pow 16+2/ Def 14+1/ Speed 8+1/ Plates 30+0; Bonus +2 in Def; HP 17/ Pow 18/ Def 17/ Speed 9/ Plates 30.

Spike Level Up! LV 3 HP 17+1/ Pow 18+1/ Def 17+2/ Speed 9+1/ Plates 30+0; Bonus +2 in HP; HP 20/ Pow 19/ Def 19/ Speed 10/ Plates 30.

Suddenly again after that last fight a slight tremor occured and in front of Spike and Ducky a mysterious hole appeared on the ground in front of them.

Ducky: "Look, look, look Spike! The strange hole appeared again! Yeah! We can go home now! I hope, I hope"

Writer: "And so Spike made his way towards the time hole near him and stands in the center of it before him, Ducky, Baby Ducky and Baby Spike get sucked in it again, however unfortunately instead of going back to the present of their time period it was leading them actually more forward back in the past, or backward you could say really to rejoin with Littlefoot thus connecting the knots and tying them both"

Ducky and Spike are once again launched a little bit towards the sky when the hole spit them out before they begins to fall towards the ground.

Ducky: "Oof!" Spike: "Eh!" they said when they reach the ground.

Littlefoot: "'Gasp!' Ducky! Spike!"

Writer: "Now the only one left is Ruby, and since thankfully unlike Petrie for some reason I'm lucky enough that we have a flashback of her as a baby at the Land Before Time TV series episode The Star Day Celebration, unlike with Petrie I don't have to create it from the ground up despite Ruby being the main character with the less background about her past and overall"

*Place Time Hole (To Past) - Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time Music here*

Ruby: "'Screams!'"

Current period: Past.

In a small pond somewhere in the Mysterious Beyond bubble are seeing, soon what produces them resurface and who produced them was none other than Baby Ruby.

Baby Ruby: "'Baby giggles'"

Ruby's Mother: "'Splash Baby Ruby's face with a little bit of water'"

Baby Ruby: "'Shakes herself to get rid of the water while giggling'"

Ruby's Mother: "It's your Star Day today Ruby"

Baby Ruby: "'Shakes herself more'"

Suddenly like Chomper and Petrie did Ruby felled from the sky after being spat out by the mysterious hole and luckily for like Petrie she was not high, however though she felled right in the pond which of course lessen the fall which will still hurt because she felled front first thus creating a big splash that hit both her baby self and her younger mother.

Ruby's Mother: "Oh my!"

Ruby's Father was near so not only heard the big splash but the shout of his mate so like his kind is named he fast ran towards the pond to see what happened.

Ruby: "'Begins to get back up on her feets as she coughed a couple of times to get rid of the water in her system that weren't at its right place to be'"

Ruby's Mother: "'Comes closer to Ruby' Oh my, where did you come from to fell in this pond like this dear?"

Ruby's Father: "Is everything allright dear? I heard you shouting so I came as fast as I could!"

Ruby's Mother: "'Looks at Ruby's Father' I'm fine dear, 'looks back at Ruby' but this young dear just felled in the pond"

Ruby's Father: "Is Ruby okay?!"

Baby Ruby: "'Baby giggles'"

Ruby's Mother: "'Looks at Baby Ruby' I think this answer your question dear"

Ruby's Father: "'Sigh of relief' Thanks everything I cherish you're bot okay, I was worried for a moment"

Ruby finally managed to get back on her feets and looked at the two grown-up Fast Runner's face a couple of times with a vacant expression on her face like Spike usually does before she exclaimed this before she hugs Ruby's Mother like Petrie did.

Ruby: "Mom! Dad! I am glad that I fell from that strange hole here so that I could see you again! Because I couldn't have see you again if that strange hole didn't make me fall her so I am glad!"

Ruby's Mother & Ruby's Father: "'Looks at each other with a puzzled and confused face' I'm sorry but... what did you just said?"

Ruby let go of her mom then continued.

Ruby: "It's me Ruby, has it already been so long since the last time we saw each other that you two forgot about me or forgot how I look like?"

Ruby's Mother & Ruby's Father: "..."

Ruby: "'Looks around herself more but not noticing Baby Ruby somehow' And where is my little brother and little sister to?"

Ruby's Mother: "I'm sorry but I'm still coping with fact that you have the same name as our little baby daughter here"

Ruby: "'Looks around herself more and finally notices Baby Ruby' 'gasp' 'leans down slightly and grabs her with her two arms and hands before she lean back up and she extends her towards the sky' Oh wow! I was so cute as a baby then, as a baby then I was so cute 'slight laughter'"

Baby Ruby: "'Baby giggles'"

Ruby's Father: "... Ruby? How can that be you? You're an hatchling Fast Runner!"

Ruby: "'Brings Baby Ruby back down but still hold her in her arms like she saw her mother did so many times with her little brother and little sister' Oh right, I should explain to you two how I got there even though I don't know why, otherwise you two will be confused, see I was in the Great Valley with my friends and their respective caretakers, we got near a strange hole to investigate it but then my friend Chomper felled on it, then he was sucked in and then it began to suck me and the rest of my friends, the rest I don't know aside from falling somewhere with lots of color before falling here, then the rest you know it"

Ruby's Mother: "'Looks at Ruby's Father before looking back at Ruby' Great Valley? Chomper?"

Ruby: "My friend the Sharptooth"

Ruby's Mother & Ruby's Father: "Sh-Sharp-Sharptooth?!"

Suddenly once again a tremor is felt and another mysterious hole appeared near the pond where Ruby, Baby Ruby, Ruby's Mother and Ruby's Father.

Ruby: "'Looks at the strange hole' 'gasp!' That's the strange hole! I'm sure it leads back to the Great Valley otherwise I'm not sure how to get back"

Ruby's Father: "Now hold on a second, I'm still coping with the fact that I'm a father now and hoping I will handle it but now I learned that I have another daughter and a son?!"

Ruby: "'Looks at Ruby's Mother and Ruby's Father' Come back with me and I'll show you I'm right, I'm sure my friends will be glad to accompany me in a quick adventure in the Mysterious Beyond to see you there 'giggle', maybe even at Hanging Rock if you're still there but I don't think you will"

Ruby's Mother & Ruby's Father: "'Looks at each other' Hanging Rock? But that's our place we use to hide if there's dangers of any kind"

Ruby: "Then surely some of the things I just said to you must be right then right? Otherwise how would I know so much?"

Ruby's Father: "... She's got a point there dear"

Ruby's Mother: "'Looks at Baby Ruby in Ruby's arms' And beside from the looks of things our little baby Ruby doesn't want anyone than you"

Ruby: "So if everyone agreeing then we should just go then"

Ruby's Mother & Ruby's Father: "'Looks at each other'"

Ruby's Father: "'Looks back at Ruby' Yes b-but, about that Sharp-Sharptooth"

Ruby: "Don't worry you two, my friend Chomper is a good Sharptooth, you will know it once you meet him and talk to him 'giggle'"

Ruby's Father: "In Sharptooth?"

Ruby: "You can do both actually"

Ruby's Father: "B-Both?! You mean-how?!"

Ruby: "It's a long story 'giggle', but there's only one way to know it though I'm sure it will be the quick version told to you two"

Ruby: "Alright, follow your daughter in any case of the way you look at it 'giggle'" she said before she put Baby Ruby on her back and slowly made her way towards the mysterious hole.

Writer: "Ruby's Mother and Ruby's Father looked at each once more before they followed their supposedly older baby daughter, the four of them reached it and stood in the center of the time hole together before they get sucked in by it back to the present"

Writer: "Now the only left was to end the beginning of this story with Littlefoot, Ducky, Spike, Baby Spike, Baby Spike and Shorty of also finding a time hole back to the present which they will find but with more addition following them"
