Chapter 5 - The Skin Underneath
With RWY and JAN
Both teams scrambled around campus for about a couple of hours before deciding to seek out Blake and Squall in town. Both wondering why those two left the academy in the middle of the night. For JAN, they knew Squall was seclusive and just avoided his team when he could. Although Naruto could always feel negative energy leaking from Squall whenever he was around but in the way where he would feel hate. It was hard to understand.
Yet Naruto still felt like he could do so much better as a partner for not knowing his partner. Was he annoying? Did he not find any interest in Squall's likes? Or was he just a bad listener? The Belmont didn't want to blame Squall or himself without trying to understand why he ran away. Then again, Naruto could sort of understand how it felt to deal with strangers.
'Maybe he doesn't trust me or the guys yet.' Naruto thought.
Meanwhile RWY had an idea about why Blake left. Lately she's been going on about Faunus rights and the White Fang not being criminals. With Weiss argued about the Faunus because of an attack on her by the White Fang when she was younger. Making her have the negative mindset that all faunus are dangerous people. Yet Ruby tried to mediate things out but it felt like the two wouldn't be satisfied until one of them won their argument.
It was frustrating to say the least. Yet at the same time while it didn't seem like it was her business. Ruby was the team leader and those two weren't doing much better when Ruby herself was purposely ignoring Yang.
'The blame isn't Blake alone for leaving. We've been screwed up since the beginning.' Ruby thought as the two teams went to look for their missing teammates.
Luckily Team JNPR didn't have to worry about anything. Ren was their quiet dark haired teammate, but he wasn't anti social. Although that didn't stop Nora from chaining him up in case he tried to run or Pyrrha and Jaune talking things out with him as if he were having issues with the team. Regardless, it's important to check up on everyone every now and then.
With Squall
Squall glared at Blake who just looked like her entire world was collapsing. At this point in time, Blake was hoping to run away from the stress of her teammates when her past starts chasing her down. It was bad enough that Adam was one of her classmates, but this was something entirely different. Squall was worse in a way, not in terms of an ex-boyfriend who became a psychopath but as a wake up call. Where the reality of the world was hitting Blake hard.
Meanwhile Sun was confused, shocked and just scared. The poor monkey boy had no idea what was going on.
"I'm so confused!" Sun exclaimed.
"Whatever, she doesn't matter." Squall said as he turned around and sat back down.
Blake unconsciously reached for her chest as she felt a sudden pain hearing that. She couldn't find any words to use to communicate with her childhood friend. Instead, she used her agility to climb up to the vantage point where Squall was sitting with Sun.
"Dude, she's right behind you." Sun whispered.
"You don't need to whisper and I already said that she doesn't matter." Squall said hurting Blake.
After a moment of silence, Blake finally found her words, "Why didn't you tell me it was you?" she asked.
"If you didn't even bother to remember me, then why should I have said anything about it to you? You made it clear how you felt about me when we were kids... after all I'm just an ignorant human like you said." Squall said coldly.
Blake winced when she heard that, "I wouldn't have." she said trying to deny the claim.
"Whatever, I'm not hiding my pride." Squall said referring to her ears.
"You look nice without the bow, ya know!" Sun said hoping to make this conversation turn positive.
"She was proud about being a faunus and here she is hiding herself." Squall said making things sour again.
"Ouch! Geez girl, what the hell did you to him?" Sun asked, having never seen Squall this angry before.
Blake looked between the two and felt nervous. When she looked back at it now, she realized how much the White Fang changed for her.
Meanwhile with both teams
Ruby sighed, "We should split up!" she suggested.
"Good idea! Follow me boys!' Naruto ordered as he ran into a nearby alley.
When suddenly he was literally kicked away, "Okay I am not going that way." Josuke said as Penny came out.
"Naruto? How strange, I swear I thought there was a Grimm here." Penny said as she looked around.
"Are you sure you don't have a crush on him?" Josuke asked in hopes of lightning up the mood.
"Love hurts." Naruto whined.
"Negative, my need to crush Naruto's ribs are strictly platonic." Penny answered.
"If this is friendship, I can see why Squall left us." Adam comments.
"Squall? Is something that matter with him?" Penny asked as she looked for the dark haired boy.
"Squall and Blake are missing Penny! So now we need to find them!" Ruby answered.
Penny saluted, "Then allow me assist in search and destroy mission." she said.
Ruby smiled before realizing what she had heard, "No! No! Blake comes back in one piece!" she yelled.
Penny saluted again, "Very well, we will catch Blake before she gets stuck in a tree." she said before noticing the looks of confusion. "Get it? Because she's a cat faunus. Did none of you know that?" she asked.
"I knew it wasn't my imagination. No bow can defy gravity." Ruby said thinking she saw Blake with cat ears.
"I thought something was up too." Naruto said having felt strange senses around Blake.
"I guess that only adds to the reason we need to find her." Yang said as everyone nodded.
"Okay, we'll break into pairs like this. Mainly because someone has to stop Penny from assaulting me for no reason." Naruto said as Penny frowned at the accusation.
Back with the group
Sun was listening intently at the origin story between his friend and Blake, "You already know the basics of life. Man and a woman make a kid. It's the same regardless of humans and faunus." Squall started off. "Except most typically, a faunus and a human usually make a Faunus. I'm one of the exceptions." he said.
Sun nodded as he drank his coffee with great intent.
"You already know about the White Fang right?" Squall asked.
"You would have to be an idiot not to know." Sun answered as just about every Faunus knows about those extremists.
"That's why I asked you." Squall said.
"So mean." Sun replied.
"Basically, they don't fight for equal rights anymore. They're supremacists with big egos now." Squall said.
"That's not true!" Blake interrupted.
"Is it? Enlighten me." Squall said.
Blake flinched, "Well, we were honest at first. We always started rallies and protested unfair conditions. Except that didn't work until the old leader of the White Fang stepped down five years ago." she said.
"Her father." Squall interrupted, making Sun almost choke on his drink.
Blake sighed, "The new leader, was more effective. We didn't continue peaceful rallies. We hijacked cargo shipments of dust, burned buildings that wouldn't serve faunus and fought back when necessary." she said. "At some point, it got out of hand and I left. We were finally getting the respect we deserved, but in reality. It wasn't respect, it was fear." she finished.
Sun wasn't sure how to interpret that, "Listen uh… Blake was it? I get what you're trying to do, but I think some guys are just a lost cause." he said surprising her. "Sometimes people take things too far. Can you really say you want to be represented by a bunch of thugs?" he asked, not exactly having a good opinion of the White Fang himself.
"But they aren't at fault. They're just lost! They wouldn't attack random dust stores!" Blake tried to explain.
"Hey I want to believe you Blake, but that doesn't excuse everything else though." Sun said.
"Especially when they put their pride over their family." Squall added as Blake felt more heart ache.
"I guess so man, honestly if my mom left me to join a cult. I'd be pretty bitter too." Sun said.
Blake wanted to say something about that jab about the Fang. It was a bit offensive but then again, a cult would be putting it lightly. Or would that be worse? Cults are less resourceful.
"She didn't just join the White Fang. She lead them." Squall said finally revealing a bigger detail, if not the biggest.
"Wait, what does that mean?" Sun asked.
"Their new leader, Sienna Khan, is my mother." Squall answered, shocking Sun and once again hurting Blake.
Flashback, several years ago
Young Squall reached out to Blake who glared at him, "Why Blake? Why can't we be friends?" he asked.
"Because you're a human Squall. You can pity us all you want but you don't know our pain. You can never be one of us because no one would want to hurt you." Blake explained.
Squall was saddened, "But that doesn't mean I can't be your friend Blake! Why are you doing this?" He asked.
"I already said why dummy. You're not even a Faunus and yet your own mom is Sienna Khan! She's the future and you're just holding us back!" Blake said feeling frustrated that she has to explain this.
Squall was at the brink of tears, "I won't hold anyone back! I swear!" he promised.
"You can't make promises you can't keep. Especially when you're nothing but an outsider." Blake said with a glare.
"I'm not an outsider! I'm your friend! We've known each other since day one!" Squall tried to argue.
"Well that friendship means nothing. Goodbye, human." Blake said with a sneer.
Leaving behind a saddened child who watched as his closest friend walked away from him. A minute later, Kali arrived and gently hugged Squall from behind. Promising that Blake was just in a rebellious phase and had no idea what she really wanted. If only that were true.
By then, Sienna was already the new leader of the White Fang and it wasn't too long before she disowned her own son. A group of protestors who would turn into terrorists and thugs. Squall felt nothing but heart ache and heavy migraines for a long time. Making a promise to avoid people once he left Menagerie.
Especially once people started questioning as to why there was a human living in a Faunus sanctuary.
End of flashback
"And it wasn't too long after that I was disowned for not being a faunus." Squall said.
"Dude, that's heavy." Sun said.
"And you can see why I have trust issues." Squall said as he stood up.
"Trust and social issues are quite different, but I get what you mean." Sun said making his friend sigh.
"Well, now you see why I don't trust pretty faces. You should do the same knowing how you are." Squall said.
Sun laughed off the comment, "Hey, maybe this one redeemed herself." he said as he gave Blake a grin.
Only to be ignored, "Squall, I'm sorry for not noticing you earlier. And I know you think I'm…"
"Just save it Blake. Shouldn't you be defending Sienna's regime?" Squall asked.
Blake sighed, "I know the White Fang haven't done much good. But I know they wouldn't just attack dust shops." she said.
Suddenly Sun came up with an idea, "Wait, what if we didn't catch them in the act?" he asked.
Squall sweat dropped, "How do you not catch them in the act?" he asked.
Sun grinned, "Look, if the White Fang are the culprits. I'm not saying they are, innocent until proven guilty." he said trying to be nice to Blake. Then continued the explanation, "Then if we witnessed a robbery happen and the Fang don't show up. Then they're not the guilty party." he said believing his own theory.
"In other words, stand around and wait to see if the White Fang or someone else is robbing local dust shops." Squall said reiterating what Sun said.
"Exactly!" Sun said with a thumbs up.
Squall stood up and started to walk, "I'm out of here." he said only for Sun to grab his arm.
"Come on Squall! It's gotta be worth checking out! Isn't that what huntsmen are for? Saving the day and stuff?" Sun asked hoping to motivate Squall.
"Where exactly would we wait?" Squall asked.
"Actually, when I stowed away on a boat at the harbor. I heard the workers talking about a new dust shipment arriving tonight." Sun said, but Squall already hated the plan.
"You want us to stake out the docks." Squall said.
"And that's why we're best friends. I'm the good looking one and you're the brains. Maybe we'll beat up some crooks too." Sun said as he started moving around like a boxer.
"You're not letting me leave until I agree will you?" Squall asked.
"I'm not letting you leave until you realize how awesome my plan sounds. Don't you think?" the question being directed to Blake.
Blake looked between Sun and Squall before answering, "It would help prove their innocence." she said.
Sun stared at Squall for his answer, "Whatever." he said.
Sun threw his fist into the air, "Go Team SBS? SSB? BSS? BSS!" he exclaimed.
"Team Bus?" Squall asked.
Sun shrugged before hanging his head.
With Naruto and Yang
Naruto ordered a small group of Shadow Clones to help look around the city block they were in. With what appeared to be little success despite their sheer numbers and great acrobats.
"Nothing, are they ninjas or something? If so, Squall needs to share it. Ninjas are awesome." Naruto said as he looked around an alley.
"Blake probably is, she's always hopping around. I guess it's her cat like reflexes." Yang said. "Although, Blake isn't really open with me. I mean, it's like she's only concerned with the fact that I exist but nothing more." she said trying to explain her relationship.
Naruto sighed, "Squall is like that too. He doesn't like to interact with us much." he said sharing his own experience.
"But why would they run?" Yang asked.
"I don't know, Squall isn't hostile but at the same time… it's like he he wants to avoid us sometimes." Naruto answered. "Thinking about it, he hardly mentions anything about himself. Heck, I think I know more about Adam's life story and he's got amnesia." he said.
"Amnesia? Actually, about that. Where did you find Adam?" Yang suddenly asked.
"Why do you ask?" Naruto asked back.
"It's kind of a weird thing I noticed about Blake. Whenever Blake is in the same room as him. She's either glaring from a distance or getting scared when he's too close." Yang answered.
Naruto looked confused, "Weird, actually… I think Squall's been staring at Blake a lot recently. I thought he had a crush or something." he said but never confronted his partner about it.
"I doubt they're secretly on a date." Yang said. "But you still didn't answer my question." she said.
"Oh yeah, uh Adam he was uh… kind of weird actually. I was exploring the woods with Ruby. So of course, anything could happen and what I didn't expect was a big train crash." Naruto explains, causing Yang to look worried. He noticed her concern, "Don't worry, it was probably a few hours or maybe even a full day after it happened. The weird part was finding Adam and no one else but a few robots. I think that driving part of the train was missing too." he explained.
"So it wasn't even a normal passenger train?" Yang asked.
"I doubt normal trains carry killer robots. Even the destroyed kind." Naruto answered, leaving more questions than answers.
With Weiss and Adam
Adam sighed as he left a random store, "Nothing, she's not in here." he said.
Weiss groaned, "Why are we bothering? She clearly doesn't want to be found." she said.
"You know, for someone that wanted to be a leader. You're doing a bad job of keeping the team together." Adam said.
"Excuse me? I am not the criminal here." Weiss said sounding offended.
Only now Adam sounded offended, "I'm sorry, could you reiterate that?" he asked.
"Guilty people don't run." Weiss said.
"So how is she a criminal? Explain that to me." Adam said as he crossed his arms.
"I think it's clear. Blake lied to everyone, she's been hiding her identity and she supports the White Fang who are intending to destroy the world!" she exclaimed.
"Destroy the world." Adam repeated.
"Yes." Weiss responded.
"How?" Adam asked.
Suddenly, this entire street became completely silent to the point you could hear someone sneeze from across town. Not of fear or anything did Weiss become silent. But the sheer fact that Adam sounded like the rational one here.
"They uh… you know…"
"Listen, Ruby told me about what happened to you and I get that was traumatic, but guess what. You're not the only victim of this world." Adam said trying to restrain himself.
Weiss glared at him, "Well it doesn't excuse the fact that it happened and that all these dust stores are being attacked by Faunus." she said not realizing what she said.
"Faunus? Faunus are not doing this Weiss, do you honestly think just because one group with selfish ideals represents a whole group?" Adam asked. "Do you think because the White Fang are criminals that I'm a criminal? Or how about Velvet?" he continued to ask.
Weiss raised her finger only to be silenced. As much as she wanted to prove her point. The words died in her mouth as Adam has done nothing wrong, that she's aware of. Meanwhile Velvet is more of an innocent victim.
"Well…" Weiss could not think of a good argument.
"Because take a good look." Adam said as he removed his eye mask. Weiss gasped at the sight of his damaged eye and the brand over his face, "I don't even know where this came from. I woke up, did not have any memory of who I was or where I'm from. With nothing but a name and two strangers willing to take me in." He explained.
The thing that hurt the most in that lecture was seeing the brand symbol while Adam spoke. It was from the Schnee Dust Company, her family company. Weiss could actually remember that snappy comment from when she met Blake who mentioned Faunus mistreatment in her company. Now that she sees it in person, she wasn't sure what to think.
By now, Adam put his mask back on, "So there you have it. When you're ready to put aside your petty opinions. You can help find Weiss, because I don't think I can handle putting up with a shisno." he said before leaving Weiss behind to her thoughts.
That whole lecture was a lot for Weiss to take in. While she didn't like it, she had to admit there were some good points. Sure Blake has opinions she feels strongly towards, but was Weiss making a good point for her own case. Was Weiss being unfair to some extent? Regardless, Weiss still had one thought on her mind.
"Don't leave me behind! Also, what the heck is a shisno!?" Weiss asked.
Later that night, at the docks with Sun's Group
The group was doing their "stakeout" as Sun calls it. All three were taking cover on the roof of some building while waiting for the White Fang or someone in place of the White Fang would show up to rob the docks of several shipping containers. All of which belonged to the Schnee Dust Company, containing their namesake, dust. Seeing as all the stores haven't been robbed of their money, but just dust. It only made sense that whoever is behind this would prefer to attempt theft right now rather than wait.
Which was only frustrating for Squall as he didn't want to wait for what could take hours. As he was not sure when the theft would take place if would happen at all today.
"Any minute now." Sun muttered.
"Any minute now, I'm going to push you off of this roof." Squall said.
"Oh don't be like that. If I knew it would take this long, I would have gotten us coffee and donuts. Like real detectives!" Sun said sounding excited. As he pulled out a small plastic bag, "I even got us fake mustaches to add to the part." he said with a smile.
Squall shook his head, ignoring Sun's fantasy of acting like a real investigator. Meanwhile Blake was staring out into the open dock waiting for who she believed was framing her former group. Just waiting to catch whoever was behind this insane spree of armed robberies.
"Hey Blake." Blake snapped out of her thoughts as she looked at Squall. "How are Ghira and Kali by the way. I haven't spoke to them in a while." Squall asked.
Blake looked scared and then guilty when she heard that question.
"I… I don't know." Blake answered.
"How do you not know how your parents are?" Squall asked only to receive silence.
"I didn't exactly leave Menagerie on a good note." Blake admitted.
Squall glared at the girl, "Typical." he said feeling a bit angry.
"Guys! Heads down! There's an Airship!" Sun said as they all lowered themselves to avoid being detected.
Just as Squall presumed much to Blake's dismay. The White Fang were behind all of the recent dust shop attacks. As they can all be seen exiting their airship but not alone. They were being lead by a ginger haired main in a bowler hat and cane.
"Let's go people! We don't have a lot of time until the sun rises." the man said.
"Who is that?" Sun asked.
"I've seen that guy. He's a criminal named Roman Torchwick." Squall answered.
"I knew that." Sun lied, pretending to be on the same page as his friend.
"Then you should know that he was recently arrested." Squall said.
Sun's face gaped like a fish, "I guess he's too slippery to hold. Although, if the White Fang really don't like humans. Then why is he bossing them around?" he asked.
Squall shrugged, "I don't know, it's out of our hands anyways." he said knowing the risks of recklessly pursuing criminals.
"I wish Blake felt the same way." Sun said as he noticed that Blake disappeared.
Then reappeared behind Roman with her sword at his neck, "Oh for the love of…!" Roman tried to curse.
"Brothers of the White Fang! Why are you following this human!?" Blake asked as she removed her bow with her free hand.
The White Fang aimed their weapons at Blake only to lower them once they noticed her feline ears. This confused them and as much as they didn't like it, Roman was their current leader. For reasons that they were not just going to disclose with Blake.
"Girl, it's called business. None of which, is yours!" Roman said as he smacked Blake away with his cane. "Take her out!" he commanded as the White Fang surrounded Blake.
Only to back away from various gunshots coming from Sun, "Sorry, is this a private party or can anyone join?" he asked as his guns turned into nunchucks.
Then Squall arrived after cutting down two White Fang members, "Keep the chat low." he said wanting to focus on the fight.
"I see someone did not want to go stag." Roman commented as he tried backing up from the fight.
As he said that, two more airships appeared and quickly surrounded the trio. Roman quickly fired at Blake and the boys as he slowly took cover. Making sure to get rid of the threat but then again, that could be tricky seeing as there was a chance the Vale Police Force will be on their way if they cause enough noise. Regardless, it would also help just to get rid of the stragglers and worry about the bodies later.
"There's no banana here for you monkey!" Roman yelled as he fired another laser from his cane at Sun.
Who avoided the blasts and proceeded to engage Roman head on. Roman quickly blocked each strike as well as dodging every gun shot in between strikes.
"I'm not here for the bananas, but something with a bit more flavor." Sun said as he briefly glances at Blake.
"Then you should keep an eye on the stove!" Roman yelled as he pushed Sun away and aimed his laser at his head.
Only for Squall to strike him from behind. Causing Roman's blast to hit a rope holding a large crate over Blake. Sun immediately ran after the cat faunus in an attempt to save her as she was fighting a Fang member. Only to be too late as it crushed the Fang member and Blake.
"NOOOOOO!" Sun screamed.
"Calm down, she's alive." Squall said dryly as Blake appeared out of nowhere.
"What?" Sun asked.
"My semblance lets me make a clone of myself with shadows." Blake answered.
"Naruto can do the same thing. Except they're solid and can do a lot of tasks." Squall said before blocking a blast behind him. Followed by two more shots, "And the Clockwork Orange over there isn't finished yet." he added as Roman kept shooting at them.
"I wish I had super senses." Sun said as all three of them took cover.
"I swear, why is it that when I am getting a job done. A bunch of hoodlum teenagers suddenly appear out of nowhere!?" Roman asked angrily as he continued to shoot. Before finding himself getting shot at, "What is it now!?" he asked as he looked to see a familiar color.
With the shooter
Josuke took a few deep breaths, "I think I got him this time." he said as he had several pellets on the building rail on the roof he was on.
Despite the lack of a ranged weapon. Josuke had a technique where his semblance could flick projectiles to move about as fast as a bullet. By transforming his entire hand in order to add strength to his trajectory.
"You may wish to increase your aim by 7 degrees." Penny said.
"Penny I don't know how much that is." Josuke said until Penny adjusted his hand.
"Now you are combat ready." Penny said prompting Josuke to flick a metallic pellet.
This time Roman was hit in the shin, "Who's doing that!?" he screamed.
"Nice, thanks Penny." Josuke said as Penny saluted him.
"Hey Josuke, don't you carry a weapon?" Ruby asked.
"Not really, well I have some steel balls that work like nunchucks but that's just a stupid heirloom. I'm more of a brawler and I have a lot of aura so it helps with my semblance." Josuke explained as Penny helped him with his trajectory.
"Fire." Penny ordered as Roman used a Fang member as a shield.
"Coward." Josuke muttered before Roman fired back.
With Ruby tackling the two away, "I think he somehow heard you." she said just as the airships looked towards them. "Okay this is worse." she said with wide eyes.
Suddenly Penny jumped onto the edge of the ledge, "I will stop them!" she said.
"Penny, those things have guns! How are you going to take on two airships!?" Ruby asked, concerned for her newest friend.
"Oh don't worry Ruby, I am combat ready!" Penny said as a slot opened from her back.
With several swords coming out and floating right behind her. Penny then jumped down from the roof where she was hiding and ran towards the airships who started to open fire. Penny revealed herself to have inhuman speed and reflexes as she avoided the bullets from hitting her before she launched all of her blades at the first airship. The blades themselves cut deep into the vehicle and sliced it as if it were made of bread with the pilots jumping out at the last minute.
"Penny?" Ruby asked with wide eyes.
"What are those swords made of?" Josuke asked, also looking very surprised.
Penny continued to avoid the various bullets hailing down upon her. As she jumped onto the top of a steel container and aimed her weapons. At the same time, Roman's airship arrived and picked him up along with any Fang member that was still conscious. As Roman watched the scene unfold, he saw the rooftop where Penny came from and glared as he saw Ruby's hood.
'That damn red girl, she's always making things worse when she's around.' Roman thought bitterly.
Back with Penny, she saw the airship she was fighting slowly attempting to fly away with an SDC container. The ginger haired girl refused to let a group of criminals escape with the dust and launched all of her swords into the airship. Only instead of destroying the ship, she started pulling down the swords as they were attached to strong threads. Using her inhuman strength, Penny began to repeatedly pull down the airship until it crashed into some machines for the docks.
Luckily the container was strong enough to avoid causing the dust inside to explode. The same could not be said for the airship trying to steal it as it crashed down.
"What the heck!?" Ruby asked just as she heard sirens in the distance.
A few seconds later, Naruto arrived with Yang on his back, "Where's Squall and Blake!?" he yelled. When suddenly the police arrived, "Ah crap, at least it didn't end up like last time when Ruby was found by the cops." he said.
"WHAT!?" Yang asked.
A while later
With the police running a full investigation on the incident and Blake accepting that the White Fang really are criminals as well as being the guilty party. Both teams reuinted with their lost teammate.
"Dude, why did you leave? Did we do something wrong?" Josuke asked.
"If there's some sort of miscommunication. We can fix it can't we?" Adam asked.
Squall groaned, "Whatever, let's just go." he said only for Naruto to stop him.
"Hold on buddy, I literally sensed nothing but a lot of negativity. I don't meant that in a metaphoric way either." Naruto said.
Squall shook his head, "Listen, I am not your buddy. I'm your teammate and nothing more than that." he said sternly.
"Why?" Naruto asked very bluntly.
"Are you going to really play that game?" Squall asked.
"No I mean why. You're missing a lot of detail." Naruto's answer surprised him a bit.
"I don't want to talk about it." Squall said.
Naruto groaned very loudly, "Squall, no one will understand you unless you're willing to communicate your frustrations." he explained.
Squall sighed, "Fine, I don't trust this team." he said.
"That's rude." Josuke said looking offended.
"It's not that I hate you people. It's just that I had issues with being close to others." Squall answered.
Then Adam spoke up, "It makes sense, but that doesn't mean you can't try to open up." he said.
"Aren't you supposed to be an amnesiac? You don't even know where you belong." Squall said.
"Hey that's pretty harsh don't you think?" Josuke asked.
"Forget it Josuke. I could have been anything but now, I could try being anyone I want. Anything could happen, so that doesn't mean I have to ignore the world or just hide in some corner." Adam said trying to explain his journey.
"And I only had Ruby until I found this one." Naruto said referring to Adam. "My parents died in a Grimm attack. So I had to hide out until I dragged myself over to Patch where I thought my Aunt Summer was." He said.
"And how did that end?" Squall asked having a good idea of what happened.
"Aunt Summer wasn't there anymore but Ruby was. That didn't mean I had to abandon her." Naruto answered. "Look, I'm not saying to suddenly be nice and share your story. I'm saying is you're only hurting yourself by not showing the amount of trust we give you." he explained.
"He has a good point you know." Josuke said putting all the attention onto him now. "Honestly, I haven't had it as bad as these guys. But sometimes, you have to be open to other people and then decide if they're worth the heartache." he explained.
"Good grief." Squall said with a shake of his head.
"And you're not the first one to say that to me either. Although, maybe I've done a bad job as a leader by not letting you have a voice or is the problem that we're crowding you?" Josuke asked.
"I just don't trust everyone like I said already. What's the point of having others around you if you're going to be alone in the end?" Squall asked sounding like a downer.
Naruto sighed, "I can tell there's more to it than nihilism." he said half heartedly. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath before speaking, "Like we already said, you don't have to spill every secret or tell your life story. Sometimes there's stuff you're uncomfortable with talking about. Sometimes there are things you're not always proud of or think others will understand. But if you're willing to say ANYTHING at all, we're all willing to listen, okay?" he asked.
Josuke laughed for a moment, "Maybe we should trade roles." he said.
"No way, I'm worse than you at planning team meetings." Naruto replied.
"I could do it. I think I'm more focused than either of you two clowns." Adam said.
"Who are you calling a clown? That's not how friendship works!" Naruto argued.
"This is a matter of professionalism. Something you two don't have." Adam said.
"We were just having a big moment and you ruin it with that!?" Josuke asked incredulously.
Squall looked at the trio as they argued about who was immature and who is a good leader. For some reason, it felt nostalgic and could not hellp but to listen.
Flashback, Squall's childhood.
Squall hid behind his father's leg, "Hey bud, come out. Blake here has a hard time making friends like you." Laguna said. Only for Squall to hide his face, "Was I like this as a kid?" He asked.
"I definitely see more Seinna than you." Ghira said.
"Hey that's just mean. It's bad enough Squall doesn't want to look as handsome as his old man." Laguna said chuckling at his own joke.
"I'd trust Seinna more than an overly optimistic fool." Ghira said before looking at Blake who was hiding behind Kali.
"Don't worry Blake, I'm sure Squall is as shy as you." Kali said as Blake blushed but shook her head.
"Don't force the girl Kali, let her make decisions on her own." Ghira said.
"Yeah and who knows. Maybe they will be as good friends as us." Laguna said as he patted Ghira's shoulders.
"We're not friends." Ghira said bluntly.
"Then why are you always open to hanging out?" Laguna asked.
"Go talk to a well." Ghira said as he crossed his arms.
"There's never a well Ghira. I can't do that even if I wanted to." Laguna tried to argue.
Meanwhile Squall blushed at the adorable cat Faunus. Although at the same time, he felt saddened as he didn't have ears like his mother. Yet this only encouraged Blake to step out from her mother's side and reach for Squall who smiled at her.
"And I can never seem to agree with you either!" Laguna exclaimed.
"You're too loud and brash to say anything rational. I swear, you would be dead without Seinna." Ghira said making Laguna cry anime tears.
Neither noticed Squall accepting Blake's hand while Kali gushed at the situation.
"My dad doesn't like your dad, but he's funny." Blake whispered.
"I know, he's really weird but…" Squall looked up at Laguna once before facing Blake again. "I wouldn't trade him for anyone else." He said with a smile.
End of flashback
For a moment there, Squall almost smiled as he could almost see Ghira and Laguna having their chats. Only this time, there was no one to play the mediator role that Khali had. A civil job that sometimes Seinna took.
"Enough! We can argue about who's the worst later. I think we're already crowding Squall." Adam said.
"Forget it, let's just go home. If I'm worse off in my own direction, they it's better with a team right?" Squall asked, accepting his teammates.
"I knew you would come around buddy." Naruto said with a grin.
"Go…"
"Talk to a wall. I know! Why do you keep saying that?" Naruto asked now sounding frustrated.
"There's always a wall, so it's the most reliable one to talk to." Squall answered.
Naruto sighed, "At least we got something truthful out of you." he said.
Squall crossed his arms, "That's all you're getting. For now anyways." he said before remembering something. 'He said there are things some people won't understand. I get that much but… what's Naruto hiding?' he thought before shaking his head.
With RWBY
Blake looked nervous as Weiss confronted her, "Look Weiss, I'm not with the White Fang anymore. I get that I was bit…"
"Save it Blake! Do you know how worried you made everyone!? You just walk out on us and think we wouldn't get worried!?" Weiss asked making Blake feel bad for different reasons.
"I-I'm sorry. I guess, I really need to think things out first." Blake replied.
Weiss sighed, "I do to, I admit I said some offensive things. I mean I was right on some points but I didn't have the right to act like a total shisno." she said remorsefully.
"WOAH!" Blake and Ruby screamed.
"What!? What did I say?" Weiss asked as Yang also looked confused.
"That's going too far Weiss. You don't use that language here!" Ruby exclaimed.
"Is it a curse word?" Weiss asked nervously as she turned to Yang.
Yang shrugged, "I have no idea what they're on about." she said truthfully.
"It's a prejudice thing to say to a human! I'm surprised Ruby knows but not you Yang!" Blake said.
"How bad is it?" Weiss asked with wide eyes.
Ruby sweat dropped, "I don't think we should worry about that later Weiss. For now, we should just learn to trust each other instead of pointing fingers." she said.
"That's coming from the girl with sister issues." Weiss said.
Yang smiled, "But we're good friends now! Right Ruby?" she asked as she attempted to hug the girl.
Ruby moved away quickly, "No, you snore in your sleep." she said.
"EH!?" Yang asked.
"Speaking of which, where's Penny?" Ruby asked.
"Don't change the subject Ruby! I do not snore!" Yang yelled indignantly as Ruby looked around for Penny.
Unaware that the girl had left in another vehicle with someone she calls her father.
A week later
Naruto yawned as he found himself sitting in front of Ozpin in his interrogation room.
"You can torture me and I won't care." Naruto said bluntly.
Ozpin sighed, "Mr. Belmont, I am not torturing you. This is more of a meeting, between two adults. Think of it like that." he said.
"I'll think about it, when it looks less like an interrogation room. Seriously, I've seen police stations with more color and decoration." Naruto comments.
Ozpin did not like hearing criticism, "Some things are more costly than others." he said.
"The coffee matters more. I get it." Naruto said aware of Ozpin's ire.
"That is not why we are here." Ozpin said.
"The precious matters more."
'Chibi Ozpin, now is not the time.' Ozpin thought to himself.
"Okay Professor, I'll be civil. Just this once, but just know whatever I'm guilty of. I didn't do it." Naruto said as he put his finger on the table to make a point.
'I swear, his father was more responsible than this. Why did he have to act more like his mother? He's more Rose than he is a Belmont. No shame in that though.' Ozpin thought as he remembered a younger Kushina at Beacon. "Mr. Belmont, I would kindly like for the photograph Ms. Rose has to be deleted." he said.
Naruto bent down a bit and met his gaze, "What's your offer?" he asked.
"Ramen and cookies to the lunch menu." Ozpin started off.
'Damn, they don't call him professor for nothing. He's a man of great negotiation skills.' Naruto thought as he started to sweat. "Counter deal…"
A long (2 minutes) negotiation later
Naruto nodded, "I think both parties agree with this deal." he said as if he earned something besides his favorite food added to the cafeteria menu.
"Very good Mr. Belmont, now onto other matters. How are you feeling?" Ozpin asked.
"I don't think you add the greeting to the middle of the conversation." Naruto answered.
"Not like that, I mean with the incident. With the news of the Belmont Estate being attacked by Grimm. It would have effected you in a negative light." Ozpin said as he never interacted with the boy much since the beginning of the semester.
Naruto scoffed as he crossed his arms, "It wasn't just a Grimm attack Professor. It was a witch." he said briefly noticing fear in Ozpin.
"A witch you say? Are you saying someone lead the Grimm to your doors and attacked the locals?" Ozpin asked.
"She was real Professor. I can tell you that much and when I find her…" Ozpin was afraid he would hear a vengeful promise. "…I'm going to eat her." he said.
"Excuse me?" Ozpin asked, unsure of what he had just heard.
"I'm going to eat her, take her power and torture her." Naruto explained.
"…"
"…"
The silence was long and very awkward.
"And should this somehow fail?" Ozpin asked.
"I'll put her in a jar and bury her at the bottom of the ocean." Naruto answered.
"Mr. Belmont, how many people have you told about this alleged witch?" Ozpin asked curiously.
Naruto shrugged, "Not a lot of people believe a homeless kid." he said as that was half way true. "That and I didn't want to terrify Ruby who was already scared of abandonment. So I doubt she would believe me." he says, another half truth.
The headmaster seemed to accept that answer, "Mr. Belmont, I think perhaps I went a bit far with asking you that much. I think I should let you go before your next class begins." Ozpin said as he opened the door.
"Okay, but you're the one who asked. It's not my fault you don't like my answer." Naruto replied as he left the room.
Now Ozpin was concerned. He had his theories and evidence to back up the claims that Salem was responsible for killing the Belmonts and the locals around them. Now he was also worried about Naruto knowing the truth or at least the fact that Salem exists. The idea of what he said was silly but the second thing was very real. There was a type of magic meant for containment and Minato mentioned an ability to even trap sentients in objects within the many generations of the Belmonts studying their power.
Although what concerns him is if Naruto is messing around or actually wants seek out Salem. Ozpin has his doubts but that did not mean he should focus any less on the Belmont and Rose siblings.
"I should contact Qrow and… no. Not now at least." Ozpin said as he pulled out a tablet. "What's going in Vacou is important. He may hate me for it, but there is more at stake with his own mission." he said before adjusting his message to Qrow, Ruby's uncle.
Later, a while outside
Naruto yawned as he came and saw Squall sitting on a bench, "Took you long enough." he said.
"Well if I took that long. You could have organized a committee that said, Free Belmont." Naruto replied.
"It's not worth the effort if you can get out on your own." Squall said.
"I'm not sure if I should be mad that you said I'm not worth the effort or be happy that you had faith in me." Naruto said.
"Forget it, let's just go already." Squall said as he lead the way.
"Fine, anyways I got some good news. I got the lunch menu updated. So expect good things…"
"It's ramen." Squall interrupted.
"Well now it's not a surprise is it?" Naruto asked, sounding slightly peeved.
"You're not that hard to read anymore." Squall answered as they made their way to the lunch room.
Just as they saw Josuke and Adam heading the same way, "What did Professor Ozpin want?" Josuke asked.
Naruto shrugged as he likely wasn't allowed to mention the coffee photo, "He wants to know if I'm feeling well." he said as it wasn't a total lie.
"O-kay? Anyways, I'm starving and…"
*CRASH*
"What was that?" Josuke asked as he saw a window break.
Inside the cafeteria
Team JASN entered the cafeteria and found what appeared to be an all out war. With food as the main source of weaponry. With every student of all years running away in terror as if this was a threat meant only to be handled by the Avengers. With Nora standing on top of a makeshift fort and singing that she's the queen of the castle.
"I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!" Nora sang.
"Justice will be swift! Justice will be painful! It will be delicious!" Ruby shouts as she crushed a carton of milk.
(Castlevania - Bloody Tears)
"Oh boy, here we go again." Naruto said as he picked up a bagquette.
"If you have orders, we're ready to hear them." Adam said as he looked to Josuke.
Josuke quickly thought it over, "Okay here it is." he said as both JNPR and RWBY stopped and noticed them. Josuke then picked up a banana as he explained his plan, "Naruto terrifies them, Squall disorients them, Adam goes over the top and I support all of you." he explained.
"Fine." Squall said as he picked up a pie.
Adam picked up a stale churro like a swored, "Begin." he said as they all ran at both teams.
Nora quickly lifted up a table full of watermelons and threw them at Team JASN. Pyrrha and the others threw equally large fruits at them. Josuke gave Adam a boost as he quickly slashed through the watermelons in a single blow.
"Damn, that churro is freaking stale!" Josuke exclaimed.
Adam came down and slammed down his churro. Which Nora blocked with a table, but not without hearing a loud thump. Also wondering how such a churro became so stale that it felt like a metal bar. Adam then bounced off of the table and threw his churro at the table causing it to fall onto Nora.
Jaune and Pyrrha attempted to ambush the bull faunus in a pincher movement. Only to be surprised by various bananas thrown by Josuke at high speeds. Just as he landed behind Adam in a back-to-back style stance. "Don't forget who else is a part of this party!" Ruby yelled as she and Weiss also appeared.
"Yeah, nobody invited you!" Weiss said as she held up a sword fish.
With Squall and Naruto
Naruto grabbed a pair of trays and handed one to Squall. With both sliding down the tables as if they were skating. Before coming to a halt as Naruto almost got hit my Yang who was using hams as boxing gloves. After avoiding her, he found Squall saving him from Nora who used a steel beam attached to a watermelon to use as a hammer.
"Watch your back. I don't want to be the one saving you." Squall said before Naruto threw a few biscuits at Blake who came from the ceiling.
Only to watch her disappear, "Hey! Shadow Clones are my thing!" Naruto complained before they both avoided Ren's baguettes.
"Worry about your ego later." Squall said.
"Fine, I'll take the heavy's and you take your anti-social friends from Hot Topic." Naruto said before blocking Ren's second attack and ducking from Nora's swipe.
"They are not my friends." Squall said as he lifted Blake over him after she attempted to tackle him down with a roast.
"And I'm not anti social! I just look like it!" Ren argued before being kicked away.
"Renny! You'll pay for that! RAAAAH!" Nora yelled as she tried bashing Naruto with the watermelon.
Followed by Yang trying to kick him in the side. Naruto caught the leg and quickly used the momentum to throw Yang against Nora. Both girls crashed agains the ground and slowly got up to look for more heavy foods to fit their style.
Meanwhile Squall threw a pie at Blake who quickly disappeared in a burst of black smoke. Unfortunately, Ren took the hit as he was gathering more food to use as weapons. Causing him to collapse onto the floor while Squall quickly threw another pie beside him. Which ended up hitting Blake despite the fact that she was behind Squall just a moment ago.
"How?" Blake asked with wide eyes.
"I can sense all dangers Blake." Squall answered, hinting at his semblance.
Back with Josuke
(Brandon Yates - Winter Sonata)
Adam managed to divert the most attention onto himself. With him throwing and using up the most food as weapons. Causing all the attention to focus on himself. Just as the four were chasing him, Josuke slammed a large ham against Weiss. Causing her to crash into Jaune who attempted to catch her.
"Your fight is with me." Josuke said with a smirk.
Jaune gently put Weiss to the side and picked up a swordfish to combat Josuke. Who in return blocked the fish with a watermelon, causing it to get stuck. Meanwhile Weiss attempted to strike at Josuke with rapid slashes only for each of them to get blocked by a ham. Surprisingly enough, a piece of the swordfish's nose broke during each strike as well as slicing up the ham. Causing the ham to appear in perfect round slices with sharp points to be picked up.
"Why so surprised? I'm a perfectonist after all?" Weiss asked smugly before hit by another ham.
"Weiss!" Jaune screamed before ducking away from the ham's strikes.
Jaune continued to dodge each attack before attempting to use a tray as weapon. Jokuse blocked the tray with the ham and put pressure onto Jaune who staggered a bit before Weiss returned. Only finding herself on the receiving end of the tray once Josuke moved away from Jaune's next strike.
"Weiss I'm so sorry!" Jaune said apologically.
Only to be knocked out by Josuke's ham, "Does yee, yield?" he asked Weiss who sweat dropped.
"What?" Weiss asked.
"Do you yield or whatever fancy people ask?" Josuke asked before hearing the heiress groan loudly.
With Adam
(Casey Lee Williams - Red Like Roses)
Adam was having a difficult time trying to protect himself from Ruby's coordinated attacks and Pyrrha's unique versatility. With him having to constantly block various angles. With him quickly finding himself being barraged by Ruby with Pyrrha hitting every opening he created whenever he blocked the fast girl.
He was quiet surprirsed to see how easily Ruby had developed a sense of teamwork with Pyrrha. Until he ended up crashing into the nearby giant of food that was stockpiled as ammunition.
Just as Pyrrha attempted to develop the finishing blow. Adam threw a bunch of crackers like shuriken at Pyrrha. Who dodged them without noticing Ruby was behind her. As mentioned before, Ruby is quite fast and the same could be said about her reflexes. Until she caught a cracker with her mouth. Causing her to make a croaking sound before collapsing.
"Ruby!" Pyrrha yelled.
"She's taking in a cracker with a lot of salt. There's only one cure for it." Adam said as he picked up a bottle.
"You wouldn't." Pyrrha said dangerously.
"I would." Adam said as Pyrrha threw several trays at him with her magnetism.
Adam avoided each attack before grabbing one to use as a shield to avoided several kicks followed by another stale churro. Ignoring the fact that there's too many stale churros that are as hard as iron. Adam blocked each attack while Ruby was distracted with the salty cracker. Seeing that Pyrrha wasn't letting up with the attacks, Adam threw the bottle in the air.
Pyrrha kicked Adam away in an attempt to catch the bottle. Only to be quickly hit by the metal tray as it was glowing bright red. Before Pyrrha realized it, she was hit in the leg. Making her fall and hit the floor pretty hard. Luckily Ruby managed to throw away the cracker and catch the bottle in time before drinking it's contents.
"Ew! You put like ten pounds of salt on it! I could have choked!" Ruby yelled before grabbing an assortment of food and bursting into peddles.
"Oh no!" Adam said before being barraged by the food as if Ruby was a jet fighter.
Back with Squall
(Brandon Yates - Invincible Diabolical Me)
Squall started to feel exhausted as Ren and Blake were hitting him with rapid attacks which were followed up by them escaping. He was getting really annoyed by the Run 'N Gun tactics the two were using. The only advantage he had was being able to locate them whenever they disappeared. Which gave of the both of the advantage of rotating when to attack and run. Until he noticed something on the table far from them.
Squall avoided the next flurry of attacks from Ren as he jumped on the benches and towards a pack of sodas.
"You won't escape me." Ren said as he tried to attack Adam with green onions.
Only for Squall to grab the cans and throw one at Ren at point blank. Ren was too determined to reach Squall before taking a sudden grape flavored explosion. Blake ran past Ren and tried to take out Squall with several sausage by using them like a whip. Which Squall caught before throwing another soda as if it were a grenade.
"You forget, my partner also uses a whip and a chain attached to his sword!" Squall said as he threw another soda that hit Blake.
Blake skidded across the floor and slowly crawled towards a nearby pie. Only for Squall to pick up the pie and grab Blake by the back of the cape. Before slowly pushing her head towards the pie. With Blake attempting to resist as if Squall were trying to push her against a grinder.
When Ren suddenly returned and ripped off some sausages to use as nunchucks. Just as he thought he could hit Squall with his back exposed. Squall threw Blake to the side and threw the pie right into Ren's face. Making him crash into a nearby table.
"Ren!" Blake yelled tried slapping Squall away with a nearby fish.
Only to find herself being hit in the back of the head with an orange. When Blake came to, she found Squall pointing at her face with some cookie dough.
"Surrender?" Squall asked the nervous looking Blake.
With Naruto
(Brandon Yates - Shonen Showdown)
Naruto avoided Yang's swings as well as Nora's watermelon hammer. Unlike Adam who had issues with speed and versatility. Nora and Yang were a bit more slow as they required heavy attacks despite the great reflexes they had. Which made Naruto a more frustrating opponent for the two girls who were getting annoyed.
"Off with his head!" Nora ordered as she threw her melon hammer which Naruto ducked under.
Naruto proceeded to throw a few trays at Nora and Yang. Both girls were able to block the barrage of trays before one of them turned into Naruto. Who slammed a slice of cake into Nora's mouth, causing her to hit the floor.
"Hey where's my desert?" Yang asked sounding jealous.
"You have to be patient, otherwise you will lose your appetite." Naruto said as he threw a steak at Yang.
Yang repeatedly punched the steak before sending it right back at her fellow blond. Who in quickly dodged the attack only to be sent crashing into a table with her ham gloves. Just as Yang throttled him, Naruto stuffed some grapes into his mouth and grabbed another pie. Where he threw it at Yang's face. Consequently, the pastry dirtied Yang's hair and made her furious.
That's when Naruto grabbed Yang by the cheeks and pulled her face closer to his. Yang's anger turned into embarassment in a mere moment as he slipped in the grapes into her mouth.
"Mwa… mwa?" Yang tried to ask until Naruto grabbed and held her in a head and leg log.
"You give up yet?" Naruto asked Yang who nodded quickly.
(End of Song)
With Ruby
Just as the fight was pretty much over. Ruby quickly found herself surrounded by Team JASN.
"This is unfair!" Ruby said.
"Dont start wars if a third party gets involved little naive sister." Naruto said as Ruby pouted.
"I almost beat Adam too. How did everyone else lose?" Ruby asked.
"We separated every from different teams. Some complimentary to each other, but not good enough to work together yet." Josuke explained.
"Some of us were actually at a disadvantage." Adam said surprising Ruby.
But she was still disappointed, "I let the team break apart." Ruby said sounding distraught.
A minute later
Sun and his friend/teammate, Neptune, were standing outside as they did not want to be a part of the food fight mess. Right now, they were innocent bystanders from Vacuo who sat outside until Glynda appeared and opened the doors to find Naruto chaining up the members of Team RWBY and JNPR.
"Dude, that semblance is cool." Josuke complimented.
"Thanks, I got it from mom." Naruto answered.
"I thought she was…"
"Deep down in my heart, her and dad are still alive." Naruto interrupted as both teams struggled to break free.
"What is going on here?" Glynda demanded.
Josuke grinned, "We stopped the food fight massacre!" he answered.
Glynda sighed as she used her gravitation semblance to put everything back into order. With the cafeteria looking perfectly clean as it did before the accident and fight.
"I want a proper explanation." Glynda said while Sun and Neptune peaked their heads inside.
"Your friends are intense." Neptune whispered.
"Yeah, but Squall's team is the one who won." Sun whispered back.
TO BE CONTINUED…
JASN Chibi!
Weiss was currently sitting at a computer when Yang appeared, "Hey Weiss-cream, what are you looking at?" Yang asked.
"I'm trying to look up that word Adam called me." Weiss answered.
"What does it say?" Yang asked.
Weiss groaned, "It's that stupid dictionary website where people give stupid answers." she said as not all of them were accurate.
"It can't be that bad." Yang said as she read the definition of shisno.
Knock Knock.
Who's there?
You are.
You are, who?
You are a dirty dirty shisno. Ha Ha Ha
Yang sweat dropped, "It would be funny if I understood that." she said before Weiss changed the webpage. Both girls suddenly wanted to vomit, "EW! THAT'S GROSS!" Yang yelled.
"The racist word for human is skunk manure!?" Weiss asked.
"I guess." Yang said as she tried not to gag.
"Well I did try to compare Blake to trash… so I guess I deserve it." Weiss said before hanging her head down.
With Blake and Squall
The two were sitting at a dinner table at a restaurant. When Sun suddenly appeared with a bowtie over his neck and a towel over his arm.
"Good evening, I am Sun Wukong and I will be your waiter today. Please select one of our many delicacies on this menu and let me know when you are ready to order." Sun said sounding like a true waiter.
"The only thing here is a glass of water and a slice of bread." Blake said.
"We'll split the water." Squall said.
"WATER!? YOU CAN'T LET ME NEAR THAT!" Neptune yelled as he ran out of the kitchen while wearing a chef costume.
"Neptune come back!" Sun yelled. "Damn, I'm sorry sir and ma'am. We are out of the water." he said.
"Can I have some milk?" Blake asked.
Neptune suddenly returned, "Does goat milk work?" he asked.
Squall sighed, "Can I get the check?" he asked making Sun sigh at his failed plan to get the two together.
"Sure, it will cost you one secret." Sun answered.
Suddenly Chibi R0tatcid appeared, "I'll pay for it. I'm feeling very charitable today." he said surprising everyone with his appearance.
World of Remnant Secret!
"Okay everyone, here's today's secret." Chibi R0tatcid whispered. "Qrow is secretly wearing red eye contacts and constantly shaves his beard. Because his real name is actually Robert Downey Jr. Who by the way, actually does own Stark Industries and is secretly Remnant's greatest detective who goes by the name, Sherlock Holmes." He explained. "Well I hope you guys enjoyed today's chapter because I sure feel like I did a lot today. Next Time! Chapter 6: Teamwork!"
End of JASN Chibi
Standing in the background, Chibi Josuke could be seen standing over a grave giving a salute as tears fell down his face.
"You're gone now bud, but that doesn't mean we'll forget you. Goodbye Billy." he said sincerely before walking away.
