Chapter 7 - Trouble is Everywhere
Present, RWBY Dorm Room
Ruby looked at Pyrrha with a confused expression, "Could you explain that again?" she asked.
"Ruby, please don't think I'm taking advantage of you or anything. I just need Jaune to get motivated." Pyrrha said.
"By helping train him?" Ruby asked.
Pyrrha gave her a sheepish smile, "Jaune is a nice guy, really. He's just… a bit stubborn and a bit prideful." she said.
Ruby sweat dropped, "I think pride is the only thing he's lacking." she said mostly agreeing with being stubborn. "Why is that anyways? I get Jaune isn't the best student, but he's always talking about being a hero. Except, he keeps doubting himself and getting all sad." she asked.
"I don't know Ruby, really." Pyrrha said, although it was somewhat of a lie. 'I don't know how Ruby will react if I tell her Jaune's secret.' she thought.
"Well, there's only one issue Jaune needs to overcome. Is uh… dang it! I had something cool in mind and I forgot!" Ruby said mentally berating herself.
"Self doubt?" Pyrrha asked.
Ruby shrugged, "Maybe it was that. He's just gotta let go of his negative feelings and stuff." she answered.
"Okay, so how do you propose we do that?" Pyrrha asked.
"Big brother can help! He taught me everything when I was small." Ruby answered.
"I see that he does have skill, but doesn't like to show it." Pyrrha said.
Ruby smiled sheepishly, "He doesn't want unnecessary attention. He's super annoyed with what is happening now." she said.
Pyrrha sweat dropped, "I guess that sort of makes sense." she said unsure of what to think. "Anyways, do you think I can depend on your help? Again, I don't want to force anything." she asked.
Ruby thought it over as she shoved a cookie into her mouth, "I guess it wouldn't hurt. Besides, I think Josuke would want to help out. He did say something having a lot of aura like Jaune." She said.
Pyrrha smiled, "The more the merrier." she said accepting the plan.
"First, we get rid of the fans. Second, I find my brother to tell him the news." Ruby said.
Emerald Forest, the next day
Jaune was very terrified, "I did not agree to this!" he yelled.
"Too bad! I trained Ruby this way, this is how you become a real man!" Naruto yelled.
"You made a teenage girl fight a Grimm while you held it back!?" Jaune asked.
"To be fair, Ruby was like 6 or 7." Naruto answered.
For context, Naruto used his mother Kushina's semblance to hold back a Beowulf with chains. One that is very angry and ready to tear everyone apart. Especially Jaune since he was only one foot away.
"Just kill it Jaune." Naruto said.
"H-How!?" Jaune asked.
"How do you think you can kill a Grimm?" Naruto asked as the Beowulf snarled as it attempted to escape. "You can back away now and be a quitter or learn to be a huntsmen the real way." he said as Jaune contemplated his situation.
Jaune proceeded to raise up his shield and extend Crocea Mors. All the while remembering his experience with the Ursa he barely managed to kill. He shook his head as he stepped away from the enraged creature.
"I can't…"
"Don't give me that crap!" Naruto interrupted.
"I really can't! The first time was a fluke and…"
"There is no fluke! You kill or be killed Jaune. The world is scary as it is and if you can overcome that fear. Then nothing is going to stop you." Naruto said tightening his chains. "No, how do you kill a Grimm?" he asked.
In the background, Pyrrha and Ruby were watching the scene unfold. Pyrrha bit her lip with worry and tried to reach out. Only for Ruby to pull her back and shook her head. Signaling that Jaune needed to grow up and mature if he wanted to achieve his dream. Ruby herself had to go through a similar experience as a child.
"If you want something, you need to work for it." Ruby told Pyrrha.
Then suddenly…
*SLASH*
Pyrrha snapped her head in the direction of the noise. Where she saw the Beowulf's head roll around the ground. With Jaune taking a knee and panting as if that was the most terrifying thing in his life.
"I did it… I did it! I can achieve my dream!" Jaune said feeling motivated. He smiled as he looked at the ground, "I can save lives." he muttered.
Then suddenly Naruto made a scary face, "What are you doing? Stand up, Jaune." he said grasping Jaune's shoulder. Naruto kneeled and looked him in the eye, "Did you forget? The reason why you're here is to be a huntsmen and not be turned into a dress up doll by your seven sisters?" he asked as Jaune's face became serious.
"Okay, what is he doing now?" Pyrrha asked nervously.
Ruby sheepishly smiled, "I think he's copying the movies I made him take me to." she said. "I never knew a horror movie effected him that way." he said.
"A horror movie!?" Pyrrha asked.
Naruto continued to motivate Jaune, "This is the story you started." he said pointing at another Beowulf that's been restrained.
Jaune quickly stood up and ran up the Beowulf like a madman. Only to be clawed away and crash into the ground. Where Naruto picked him up.
"Don't run right at it's line of sight! You aren't that agile… yet." Naruto said as Jaune nodded and changed position. "Also, don't cut your hair and make it spiky. I'm the only one who gets to wear male shojo protagonist hair." he adds.
"Okay!" Jaune yells as he continues attempting to fight the Beowulf.
Back with the girls. Pyrrha sighed in relief again.
"He's fine Pyrrha, Jaune just needed real motivation." Ruby said.
"I still think this was a bit intense." Pyrrha said.
"No, intense would be throwing kids off of a hill." Ruby countered. "Besides, unlike Jaune. I had to kill my first Grimm at 9." she said.
That caught Pyrrha off guard, "That young?" she asked.
Ruby nods, "Naruto can't protect a little kid by himself Pyrrha. He had to teach me." she said sounding serious.
That really surprised Pyrrha and with the look in Ruby's silver eyes. The prodigy could only assume that Ruby was telling the truth since she's not about boasting. A bit of a jokester and fairly playful on the account of her age, but that didn't mean Ruby was any less serious about becoming a huntsmen.
"I never knew." Pyrrha said solemnly.
Ruby shrugged at Pyrrha, "It's fine, it just life teaching me how to survive." she said as she looked at her brother.
"Now fight the Boarbatusk! Where is the weakness!?" Naruto asked, scaring Jaune.
"Um… um… uh, where there's no armor!" Jaune said in a panicked tone.
"Half way there, where is there no armor?" Naruto asked.
Jaune shook his head, "Legs? Arms? No legs… chest?" he asked.
"Underbelly, but I guess it's also chest." Naruto said as he let the Boarbatusk loose.
Jaune screamed as he ran away, "Why did you let it loose!?" he asked.
"The Grimm won't hold still Jaune! You gotta pick up on the danger and build your own way to fight it. Then you can compliment it with your partner." Naruto explained as Jaune avoided the Baorbatusk's spin attack.
Pyrrha sweat dropped, "Did he do this to you too?" he asked.
"I think you would be more concerned as to my big brother having to tell me to run for the first two years with him. He was too stubborn to teach me at first." Ruby answered, adding to the concern.
"I see, actually why did Naruto say you were 6 or 7? When you said 9?" Pyrrha asked.
Ruby giggled, "Big brother still thinks I'm small. So he forgets my age sometimes." she says earning a smile from Pyrrha.
"I guess brotherly love has it's worth." Pyrrha said before turning back to the blonds.
At the same time, Atlas
At Atlas, a city of bright lights and wealthy individuals with great political power. There is a large military presence which General James Ironwood always prides himself in having. Despite the fact that the kingdom may be the cleanest, it's the most corrupt of the four. And that's saying something with how much of a mess Vacou is.
Despite the fact that Atlas clearly needs a masked avenger to sweep up the streets. There are still strong and respectable (as well as feared) members of the Atlas military. One of the most prominent ones is a blue haired woman with a great lust for battle.
While she respected her comrades, she did not tolerate stupidity and incompetence. Along with those who wish to shirk off their duties.
"Hey take a look at this. I guess prodigies are not all they're cracked up to be." said a random Atlas officer.
"Are you watching those academy students fight?" asked another officer.
"What? Besides us, they're the only ones actually putting up a fight." said the first officer.
"And the more progress you two can make by getting off your scrolls and doing your jobs." said a third officer, with a higher rank.
"Buzz off, it's not like Esdeath is… oh hi Major Esdeath!" said the first officer upon realization as to who he was talking to.
Esdeath as subtly mentioned earlier, has respect for her comrades. Unfortunately, she has no patience for sloths who would rather watch videos of kids fighting each other. While Esdeath can feel sympathy that paperwork and dealing with brainless grunts is a pain. That doesn't excuse her subordinates from leisuring around when there is work to be done.
"I see, you wish to sit around and watch children playing with knives and guns. Instead of doing your job as you were told." Esdeath said as her impatience started to leak.
"Y-Yes ma'am!" they stuttered out before saluting the officer.
Only for the first officer to fumble with his scroll. Before dropping it and mentally cursing his luck as Esdeath looked annoyed. Only for her eyes to gaze upon the fight as she found herself intrigued by the video. She immediately grabbed the hand of the officer as he tried picking up the scroll.
"Where was this footage taken?" Esdeath asked.
"U-Um, B-Beacon academy. It's somewhere in Vale I think." the officer answered.
Esdeath narrowed her eyes as she paid close attention for a moment. Before letting of of the officer who felt like she had just broken his wrist.
"Forget I said anything." Esdeath said as she returned to scroll. "Do not let me catch either of you slacking off again." she said warning them.
"Yes ma'am!" they said before running off to their duties.
"Damn it Gary, this is worse than the time you brought your daughter." said the second officer.
"It was literally, "Bring Your Daughter To Work" day! My wife was on my ass about it!" Gary replied.
"That's why I don't bring my daughter to jack shit." the second officer said.
"You don't have kids… or a wife… or live with anyone!" Gary argued.
As the two idiots left and continued to argue. Esdeath walked into her office and booted up her computer. Although this would technically make her a hypocrite by doing exactly what she told her subordinates to not do. The high ranking Atlas soldier eventually located the video that the two officers were watching.
Pyrrha Nikos vs Ruby Rose, Easy Fight Turned Hard
"I see literacy is something academy students excel at." Esdeath said sarcastically as she watched the video.
Where she a fairly bland fight. The only thing noteworthy was the champion Pyrrha Nikos finding herself in an annoying matchup. With a childish opponent using Run-in-Gun tactics before yelling out her frustrations. Before being sent crashing into a wall like a bowling pin. Esdeath grinned as she paused the video and saw Ruby. Where she immediately recognized the mask and red hood she was wearing.
"So this is where you have been hiding from Me, Little Red. I just wonder where the Grimm that was with you has gone." Esdeath said, recognizing Ruby. "Actually, now that I think about it. General Ironwood is in Vale right now. Perhaps I can make a trip one of these days." she said as she stroked the side of her computer monitor.
At Beacon, a day later
Squall sighed as he looked at his teammates. Naruto was fiddling with some tool that's likely going to hurt him, Josuke was staring intently at the table where Team RWBY is at and Adam… he was trying to do some research. It looks like one person is trying to work hard at his school work. Unlike some people, although Squall's team leader and his partner weren't making a lot of noise.
With Yang putting in a lot of energy, "…and know this. I will not forgive you, if you wipe out my kingdom." she said to Weiss.
"What are they doing?" Squall asked.
"Playing Remnant The Game… like a bunch of noobs." Josuke said whispering out the last part.
"Whatever, they're too loud." Squall said.
Suddenly Weiss stood up and laughed like a villainess, "Yes, Remnant is mine! All mine! They will all bow down and bask in the reign of Weiss Schnee!" she said.
Suddenly, an image of Weiss dressed up like a dictator with a military cap, jacket and for some reason a skirt and heels appeared in her mind. Sadly, that world crumbled once Weiss spoke up and presented a new card.
"Nope, trap card! All of your armies are now destroyed!" Yang exclaimed.
Now that image of Weiss as an elegant dictator was gone. Replaced with Yang wearing a crown and laughing as she pointed at Weiss who now worked as a maid in that fantasy. Prompting Weiss to cry anime tears and whine about losing.
"All my hopes and dreams are gone!" Weiss cried out.
Ruby jumped into her lap and also cried, "Life is so unfair!" she said.
"BWAAAH! Stop touching me, you're getting tears all over me." Weiss complained.
Then Jaune decided to step in, "Hey Ice Princess, you know. I think I'm a pretty good strategist. If you want, I can play your next turn." he said trying to impress Weiss.
"Let me thing about that. No." Weiss answered.
"Come on, I think I make a good leader. I'm getting stronger, I listen to all my comrades and I'm good with secrets. Like the time you guys told me that Blake is a…" Pyrrha suddenly ran up to Jaune and covered his mouth.
"…a really nice person." Pyrrha said trying to cover for Jaune.
Blake glared at them, realizing that her teammates may have leaked her secret of being a Faunus. Then again, everyone still wonders why she's keeping it a secret like it's the plague. Especially since someone like Ozpin knows that she's not human and there are several others who can deduce her secret.
"It's not exactly a secret Blake. Even my big brother pointed it out to me." Ruby said.
Blake turned to look at Naruto, "I'm not the one with a gravity defying bow and Squall is the only one that knows you on this team." he said to her.
Blake blushed as she placed her hands on her bow. Although, she quickly stole a glance at Adam who tried to ignore the world around him. Even if she ignored the fact that her former childhood friend is a student at this school. She couldn't ignore the man that is Adam Taurus. However, Blake had to put her thoughts aside as her newest Faunus friend had arrived with his teammate.
Sun came in with his positive vibes flaring, "Hey Ruby, Blake, Yang… Ice Queen." he said energetically.
"Why does everyone call me that?" Weiss asked.
"It just fits. Also, I brought my friend Neptune since we didn't get a chance to catch up with the Food Fight last time." Sun said.
"It was a massacre. Blame Ruby's brother's team for us losing!" Nora exclaimed.
"SHHH!" someone shushed.
"Sorry, but I still blame those guys." Nora said pointing at Team JASN.
Josuke waved at the Vacou students as Neptune and Sun waved back. With that aside, Neptune approached Weiss, somehow garnering her attention with ease.
"So Ice Princess, what's your story?" Neptune asked smoothly.
"You have to be kidding me!" Jaune says in the back as he's ignored.
"Just playing some board game with my friends." Weiss answered.
"That's cool, I never played Remnant The Game before." Neptune said.
"I have and you four are butchering it. Especially Blake here, she isn't even motivated." Josuke points out.
"She has hasn't she? Blake are you okay?" Yang asked.
As she's been acting distant since after the fight with Roman Torchwick at the docks. Almost like she's distancing herself and keeping secrets again.
"Oh I'm just… just a bit tired of Yang's bad puns." Blake said deflecting the question.
"That is a lie." Yang said. "My puns are jokes and they are amazing." She said. Blake rolled her eyes at that response, "The day you all hate me for being funny. It will be a real cat-astrophe." she said as she raised her hand up, expecting a high five.
"Big brother get the tape!" Ruby yells.
"Hey don't leave me Yanging." Yang said expecting a laugh.
Instead of laughter, Yang only gave everyone pain.
Naruto then spoke up, "Everybody, stop getting angry at Yang. All this negative energy is bad for all of us." he said.
"Why thank you…"
"Our situation is already Grimm." Naruto said earning some laughs.
Yang smirked at Naruto, "I think you need some sugar in your diet. Because that joke was not sweet." she said.
Naruto smirked at her, "Just Yang in there. Someone will give you a chuckle." he replied.
"You are an apple and I am a banana. I'm more appealing." Yang countered.
"Are we in a car? It feels like I'm driving you mad." Naruto says adding to the metaphoric fire of puns.
Weiss groaned, "Can you two stop!?" she asked.
Yang shook her head, "This contest is nothing to schneeze at Weiss." she said.
"Unlike Ren, I do not speak in lies." Naruto says.
"Leave me out of it!" Ren yells.
"Hey Ren, why doesn't anyone call you by your first name anyways?" Jaune asked.
"You can ask Nora that." Ren answered as the ginger smiled.
After that was answered, everyone ran away as the two blonds continued to engage each other in a pun contest. One that could have destroyed the library if they had not run out of energy. Or at least until Ruby stopped their petty contest.
"Stop flirting!" Ruby yells.
"We're not flirting!" the two yell.
Then the head librarian arrived, "Puns are officially banned! You two need to leave!" They said as the group grumbled and left.
At Team RWBY's Dorm
Yang was gulping down a large bottle of water. As if she had crossed the deserts of Vacuo for an entire month. It appeared that somehow, telling all of those bad puns had left her dehydrated.
"You want some bottle with your water?" Weiss asked.
Yang gasped for air as she dropped the bottle, "I need to practice my strategy." she said.
"I think your bad jokes are the one thing I don't miss." Ruby said.
It wasn't her being cold to her sister. This time it was just blunt honesty that everyone agreed with. Still, Yang felt really hurt by that.
"But I am funny. None of you have a sense of humor." Yang argued as she crossed her arms. "Blake I can forgive, being anti-social is in her blood." she said.
Once again, Blake was being quiet and not interacting with her teammates. It nothing new for her teammates to experience but at the same time. They already made her promise to not withhold anything and be open to communication. Clearly, Blake has learned nothing. That's when Weiss decided to pull out a chair and jump onto to it while pointing at Blake.
"We made a promise that you wouldn't keep secrets Blake. Just tell us what's going on!" Weiss said.
Blake sighed, "I've just been thinking about the docks when we saw Roman. I can't wrap my mind around him working with the White Fang." she said finally speaking up.
"I thought we went over this Blake. You know the White Fang aren't peace talkers anymore." Ruby said.
"That's not it, even with what they are now. It doesn't make sense." Blake started to explain. "Roman is a criminal. That's the best way to summarize him. The White Fang always have big agendas, so why listen to a random criminal?" she asked.
It was a good point, regardless of how everyone wants to describe Blake's former group. Especially Weiss who still has a horrible opinion on the White Fang as terrorists. Roman Torchwick is a criminal that's just a couple steps above a generic pit pocket and thief. Unlike normal criminals who just steal wallets and cash registers, Roman made a name for himself and has enough skills to evade the police for so long. Better yet, Roman is a human being.
The White Fang aren't like what they used to be. They discriminate against humans, so it made only less sense that a human is giving out the orders.
"She does have a point guys." Ruby said.
"I don't like it. What good is it knowing why they're working together?" Weiss asked.
"Think about it Weiss. Why would a group of faunus who hate humans with questionable motives. Just decide to listen to some thug who's a human?" Ruby asked.
"Ruby has a point Weiss." Yang said sounding suspicious.
Weiss sighed, "I guess it is suspect. Still, what can we do?" she asked.
Yang snapped her fingers as she has an idea, "We ask around in the underworld." she said getting odd looks. "What? I've asked around before. Knocked a few heads and got some answers." she said.
"What exactly were you looking for Yang?" Ruby asked.
Yang gave her a nervous glance before looking away. Ruby turned away, realizing what she meant.
"It's narrow, but it could work. If it works in the movies then maybe some street thug with connections knows a bunch of other street thugs." Weiss said.
"There could be a rally in Vale too! We used to get together. Sometimes trying to hold meetings or start initiations for newcomers." Blake adds.
"Then it's settled. Tomorrow, we will start investigating!" Ruby announces as the group agrees with helping Blake.
Just as Team RWBY prepared to rest for the night as they had classes and a stakeout tomorrow. Ruby decided to confront Blake again, but about something else. Besides Blake's attachment to her bow and the ability to keep it on her head. With that level of perception, Ruby has noticed something that's been bugging her but she hasn't found a way to communicate with her faunus friend about it.
"Blake, something else bothered me. Besides my theory that you know telekinesis." Ruby said while Weiss and Yang weren't in the room.
"That I know what?" Blake asked. Ruby sighed and pointed at the bow, "Oh." she said remembering her cat ears.
"I noticed that you keep looking at Adam. At first, I thought you disliked him because he was a faunus." Ruby said surprising Blake. "Only that was wrong because you were angry at Cardin for bullying Velvet. Yet, you kept staring at him intently. Almost like you were angry at him or something." she continued to explain.
"It's a complicated story Ruby." Blake said turning away from her leader.
"I have time Blake. You're not going ever change if you keep things to yourself." Ruby said only to receive silence. Ruby sighed, "Are you seriously just going to ignore me?" she asked.
"Well you didn't exactly do any better with your and Yang's relationship." Blake countered.
Ruby glared at the back of Blake's head, "You weren't the one left alone by your family Blake. Even then, Yang actually tries to fix her mistake and I'm giving her that chance. Even it's held by a narrow thread." she replied.
Making Blake wince, as she soon realized that she has yet to change. A promise left unfulfilled is just an exchange of words. Leaving her with not much of a choice if she's not willing to better herself. Blake can't exactly call herself a saint with what she did in the White Fang compared to today. Albeit, her involvement in violent crimes is nonexistent now.
Perhaps Blake Belladonna was less of a freedom fighter and more of a coward. As she couldn't even be honest with Ruby who has been trying to connect with her and Weiss.
"Forget it, maybe we're still not a complete team yet." Ruby said dropping the subject.
Blake really wanted to say something, but could not find the right words. If she could find any.
With JASN
Naruto glared at his teammate, "I trusted you! I let you get close and become my friend! When you're secretly this type of guy! After all we been through!?" he asked angrily.
Squall pinched the bridge of his nose, "While this idiot may be annoying. He has a point about the whole trust thing." he said to the traitor of the group.
"I'm sorry! I didn't know until right now!" said the alleged traitor.
"Face my wrath! My honor will be avenged!" Naruto yells as he tackles his teammate down. "I always knew you were trouble!" he yelled as he started wrestling the "traitor" onto the floor.
"I'm sorry! I'm not that guy anymore! I've changed!" the "traitor" exclaims.
That's when Adam entered the dorm, "Hey guys, I stopped by the vending machine and it gave me extra cans of soda. Any of you… what is going on?" he asked.
Squall sighed, "Not in the mood." he said looking away from the fight.
"Naruto! I'm seriously sorry! I was hungry man! Can't you give me a free pass!?" Josuke asked as Naruto was crushing him in some wrestler grapple.
"I would have shared my ramen if you asked! It's my favorite and yet, you stole it like a dirty thief!" Josuke yells.
Adam sweat dropped, "Is this over ramen?" he asked.
"Not just any ramen. He took the last miso instant ramen in my bag!" Naruto yells.
"I was strapped for cash! I didn't think you would share!" Josuke said as an excuse before grunting in pain.
"The lack of trust is solidified! Your punishment is death!" Naruto says adding strength to his grip.
"Adam, help me!" Josuke pleads.
Adam backs away as he shakes his head, "No, Naruto is more sensitive about his ramen than you are about your hair." He responds.
Naruto growls, "How would you feel if I stole your hair care products to make my own pompadour?" He asked Josuke.
"Fair point, I'm the only worthy of a sweet pompadour." Josuke says feeling bad.
At the same time, he wasn't sure if he should be angry for bringing up his hairstyle or happy because Naruto may consider the style to be nice. Unlike most people who call him a freak and a delinquent for shaping his hair in such a way.
Squall shoved a pillow on his face, "Take it outside you two." he said.
Adam opened up a can of soda, "At least you won't get your headaches anymore." he said, revealing that Squall told him and Josuke about his semblance.
"I still have one. For different reasons." Squall replies.
The Next Day, Class
Josuke looked like he was set on fire and it wasn't because he actually was. As a way to get back at him, Naruto offered Josuke a chance to redeem himself with free lunch. Being a cheapskate that is strapped for cash, Josuke readily accepted the chance of redemption. Which was being gifted with what Naruto called, The Ramen of Friendship! It was a form regular ramen, where Josuke would choose between two bowls to eat from.
Already knowing it was a trap of some kind. Josuke picked a bowl that he assumed to be harmless. Instead, he learned that both bowls were filled with a type of hot sauce. Which Naruto risked eating because he could not throw away ramen. Thus, the leader of Team JASN was redeemed through a literal trial of fire.
"At least my stomach didn't hurt." Josuke said as he only worried about the food's heat.
Naruto only looked slightly winded, "Now remember buddy, just ask for food if you need it. Stealing is wrong after all." he said as Josuke groaned.
"I'm in pain." Josuke said before overhearing the students behind him.
"So Weiss, I was thinking that maybe after this. We could uh, grab a bite to eat. And I got two tickets to that new Spruce Willis movie if you're interested in taking a trip to Vale. Maybe also study together, I mean you're smart and I'm uh… you know." said an awkward voice belonging to Jaune. With Weiss ignoring him, "Weiss, did you hear me?" Jaune asked.
Josuke groaned even more loudly, "I think I feel less pain hearing the boring story." he said referring Professor Port.
When suddenly, the bell rang and thus classes had ended for the day. With Weiss immediately standing up and preparing to leave. Almost as if she had completely ignored Jaune's existence.
"No, no, no, yes." Weiss said out loud.
Clearly she did hear Jaune bit did not bother to listen to him.
"Dude, that was pitiful." Josuke grumbled.
"What do you mean?" Jaune asked.
"You are literally trying to smother her with attention." Josuke answered. "You gotta give her space man. A girl won't like you any more if you keep following her around." he said.
Jaune suddenly felt dejected, "Then what do I do?" he asked.
Josuke sighed, "I don't know a lot about girls. All I can say is, try not forcing things or expect good results with preplanning man." he said.
"Also, try the friendship route first. Understand the girl first and see if you really like her." Naruto spoke up.
"But I do like Weiss." Jaune said.
"Oh yeah? Why?" Naruto asked.
"Because, she's awesome, super smart, really pretty and really graceful. What's not to like?" Jaune asked.
Suddenly they heard Squall close his book really loudly, "It's the Pygmalion effect." he said.
"Pyg what?" Josuke asked.
"I see, it's just a random crush. Nothing serious in Jaune's case." Naruto said.
"But it's real!" Jaune tried to argue only to be ignored.
Team RWBY's Dorm
Now that the day was over. Team RWBY all changed into their "stakeout" outfits. Then proceeded to go over their plans of action.
"Does everyone know what to do?" Yang asked.
"Ruby and I will go to the CCT tower on campus to access the Schnee Dust Company records. Which should be easy considering who I am." Weiss answered.
"Then I will head to the rally in town where they will be recruiting new members. Hopefully I can find out what they're planning." Blake said.
"And that leaves me. I have a contact in the shady part of town who's really reliable." Yang said punching her fist into her palm.
"And operation stakeout is a go!" Ruby exclaims.
"So where does that leave me?" Sun asked, as he was hanging upside down on a tree branch outside their window.
"Sun!?" everyone asked.
"Pervert!" Ruby yelled as she started throwing knives at him.
"WOAH!" Sun screamed as he fell off the tree and hit the dirt.
Everyone turned to Ruby in shock, "What is wrong with you?" Blake asked.
"What's wrong with me!? How long do you think Sun was there? He could have been trying to get a free peak!" Ruby said feeling violated.
Suddenly Yang and Weiss looked furious as they looked out the window. Before they tried to berate Sun who was recovering from the fall. They found his friend/teammate, Neptune hanging by the wall. The blue haired boy gave them a nervous smile before the girls prepared for various ways to ensue bodily harm upon him.
Only for Naruto to stop them.
"Hey, what's going on here?" Naruto asked.
"Big brother, Sun and Neptune were trying to peak on me and give me an infection!" Ruby yelled.
"That last part is a serious accusation!" Neptune yelled.
"Yeah, they can't give us an infection Ruby." Weiss said.
"Naruto said they can. If a boy you are not related to tries to see you naked. Bad things can start growing on you." Ruby explained, although she was referring to the fictional disease known as cooties.
What kind of brother would not want to protect his younger sibling? Sure it sounded extreme and a bit naive, but it helped Ruby understand what perverts are. Making her a lot more cautious around men and womanizers specifically.
This being solid proof as Naruto lifted Sun up by his shirt.
"Tell me the truth six pack! Were you trying to get a peak under that hood!?" Naruto asked.
"I wasn't!" Sun yelled.
"Then why do I sense hesitance in that answer!?" Naruto asked.
"I was uh… uh… uh… they're planning to go on a stakeout!" Sun said pointing at the girls.
Naruto dropped Sun and looked up at Ruby, "Is this true?" He asked.
"Um I…" Ruby didn't get a word in.
"Ruby, did I not tell you about keeping a low profile?" Naruto asked with his hands on his hips.
"Naruto it's important! You know the White Fang wouldn't work with humans and if someone like Roman is in command! Bad stuff could be happening!" Ruby tries to explain to her adoptive brother.
Naruto sighed, "Then you shouldn't concern yourself. This stuff is dangerous. It's nothing like surviving in the wild." He counters.
"But it's important. You know I've crossed paths with Roman in person." Ruby said shocking everyone.
"And I told you to never blurt that stuff out." he said facepalming.
"Then you know that Roman being free to run around is a bad thing." Ruby said catching him off guard. "So let us do this!" she yelled as students started to appear and overhear this conversation.
"Damn it Ruby, we'll talk about this inside!" Naruto said as he ran up the wall into the room.
Neptune went wide eyed, "Did he just defy gravity?" he asked.
"I don't think he cares about gravity." Sun said.
"And now, explain to me what you four are planning." Naruto said sounding stern with his big brother mode at full power.
"I would like to know too." Squall said opening the door to the room.
"See? Now you woke up Squall from his brooding." Naruto said thinking RWBY was being very loud rather than subtle.
An hour later, with Ruby
"What are you smiling at Ruby?" Weiss asked.
"Because one, I managed to convince Naruto to let us through with our plan. Two, we get to the tower!" she said cheerfully.
Weiss sighed, "We could have literally done this anywhere." she said.
"I know, but this place is so much more cool!" Ruby said as she ran around Weiss.
"I admit it is. Yet, I can't help that we're making this more difficult than it needs to be." Weiss told Ruby.
"This whole operation is going to take effort Weiss. It's just one small step to the… what's the saying? The one about a thousand steps." Ruby asked.
"It's, the journey of a thousands miles starts with… oh no!" Weiss said as she dropped her scroll.
Only to be picked up by, "Penny?" Ruby asked.
Penny had returned and greeted them both with a smile, "Salutations! I believe you have dropped this!" she said in her friendly tone.
"Penny, where have you been?" Ruby asked before Penny frowned.
"I… I am not Penny. For I do not know anyone by this name for I am not her. Goodbye!" Penny said as she handed over the Scroll and tried to walk away.
"Penny wait!" Ruby says chasing after her.
"Ruby, we need to… ugh." Weiss said seeing that Ruby already left. "I guess it's up to me now." Weiss said entering the tower by herself.
While initially excited to visit the CCT tower, Ruby found herself distracted by Penny. Trying to ask her questions as to why she disappeared after the fight at the docks. Only for the ginger haired girl to deflect every question and ignore Ruby. As if Penny was trying her very best to ignore the very first girl who wanted to be her friendl
"Nope, I believe I would remember a Ruby Rose. Unfortunately, I know no one by that name." Penny said further ignoring girl.
"Penny you know me! Just please tell me, what happened after you left the dock? We went looking for you but you disappeared." Ruby said.
Penny gave her a look filled with guilt, "I'm sorry, my father has told me to not speak with you Ruby." she said giving in.
Ruby looked saddened, "But why?" she asked.
"It's complicated." Penny said as they walked around the corner.
Where they found the local citizens of Vale getting together. Where a hologram of James Ironwood stood in front of a crowd. Presenting a new line of technology.
"With peace, there must be security. What better way to keep the peace than to ensure the safety of the populace. As the Atlas military, in partnership with the Schnee Dust Company, has worked tirelessly to present you another method of safety." holographic Ironwood said as several machines behind him fell down. Revealing brand new robots, "Meet, the Atlesian Knight-200! The successor of the Atlesian Knight-130!" he announces as the locals clap.
Meanwhile Ruby was distracted by the sight of the new machines. As she watched with interest, Penny looked worried. Anxious even, as she tried to pull Ruby away before the soldiers of Atlas could spot them.
"Ruby we need to leave." Penny said.
"Huh? Is something wrong?" Ruby asked just as the soldiers looked at her.
"Yes, I will explain to the best of my ability at a later time! Now please sprint!" Penny pleads as Ruby notices the Atlas soldiers running towards them.
Just as Ironwood finished up his speech, "Now this will reduce casualties of human soldiers and while it helps protect the lives of our soldiers. There are just some things that need a human touch." He said as the tarp behind him was pulled down. Revealing a large mech suit, "For our flesh and blood, I present the Paladin!" he announces.
With the girls
Ruby kept up with Penny's speed as the ginger did not look winded, "Can you try to tell me why Atlas soldiers are after you?" she asked.
"It would take a long time to explain. It is also very sensitive information that I can not tell a close friend Ruby." Penny answered as they crossed through several streets.
"Penny! Stop!" one of the soldiers yelled.
"They know you?" Ruby asked as she pulled down some scaffolding.
"Yes, but as I have just said. It is a complicated and private story." Penny said as she picked up speed.
"Hey, don't leave me behind!" Ruby yelled before running and jumping over some debris.
Before bouncing off the wall and landing on the street where Penny just crossed. Only to find a large armored truck right in front of her. Ruby's eyes widened as he fight or flight instincts kicked in. Where she stomped on the ground, causing ice to form on the road and helped root her to the pavement. At the same time, ice started to form around her hands as she prepared to stop the truck with all her might.
Only for Penny to run back shove her out of the way. Not noticing the ice she shattered while trying to save Ruby. As Penny did what Ruby attempted to do and stopped the armored truck, going as far as to lift it as the momentum raised the vehicle into the air. Then gently putting it down and leaving a large dent on the front of the engine hood.
"Penny?" Ruby asked.
"No time to explain!" Penny said dragging Ruby with her to another alley. Where she gently let go of her, "Are you okay Ruby!? Are there any missing limbs or organs!?" she asked.
Ruby shook her head, "No, but… Penny your hands." she said pointing at Penny's hands.
Penny looked at her hands with shock and fear in on her face. As her hands were damaged, but in the normal way. As the skin was ripped to shreds and underneath was a metallic material. Supplemented by Penny lifting an armored car without looking exhausted let alone harmed. Ruby was absolutely sure that Penny wasn't a normal human. Not that she could say that considering who Ruby knew she was.
"This is what I meant by private matter Ruby. I'm not human as you can see." Penny said raising up her palms to better reveal the metal. "I'm the first successful android capable of using aura." She said.
"Penny, I never knew." Ruby said feeling guilty. "You were right about it being private. I shouldn't have bothered you. Some secrets are hidden for bad reasons." she said.
Penny nods, "I hope I did not offend you either Ruby. I meant no malicious intent as my father feared that I would expose myself." she replied. "Actually, what were you doing trying to stop the armored car. Despite your fight with Pyrrha on the internet…"
Ruby interrupted with a loud groan, "Why me?" she asked, not liking the fact that she's internet famous.
"…I doubt that you lack the muscle capacity as most humans to lift a vehicle of around one ton." Penny said.
Ruby giggled nervously as she raised her hands, "Um, I wouldn't say I'm human either. Well, not full human." she said revealing the ice on her hands.
"I knew something was different about you. Are you secretly a faunus?" Penny asked, seeing as her scans of Ruby and Blake were different compared to Yang and Weiss. Then her eyes widened, "Are you capable of generating a second semblance?" she asked.
"No Penny, although I think with you sharing your secret. With it being my fault…"
"Are you also an android!?" Penny asked.
Ruby looked at her with surprise again, "Penny I'm not a…"
Penny then hugged Ruby and lifted her into the air, "Are you my secret sister?" she asked.
"Penny I'm not a robot! My power is different form aura. You see… I uh…" Ruby tried to say before Penny put her in the trash.
"I apologize Ruby, but I sense the soldiers! Please stay silent until it is safe!" Penny says warning her friend.
Ruby remains silent as she takes a small peak from the dumpster. As the two Atlas soldiers arrive looking tired. As they approached Penny, to understand why she was running away from them. Seeing this entire mess happen, it was no doubt that Penny belonged to Atlas. Her "father" is either some Artificial Intelligence made by them or a scientist. Being a child, Ruby for some reason wanted it to be the former as it sounded much cooler.
And yet, a human creator sounded more realistic and possible.
"Penny, why did you run?"
"And where was that girl you were with?"
"Girl?" Penny asked, feigning ignornace. "What girl? I was exploring on my own." she lied.
"Then why didn't you stop when we yelled for you?" one of them asked.
Penny shrugged, "I am not sure. Perhaps my sound sensory is off." she lied again.
The soldiers sighed, "Come on, let's go before you create a scene." They said as the two soldiers took Penny away.
With the android briefly looking back at Ruby. Watching as the hooded girl subtly left the dumpster. At the same time, wondering what Ruby meant when she said she wasn't human. As Penny's sensors did not detect Ruby as a full blooded human like everyone else.
"I guess I'll keep this to myself. Hopefully Weiss doesn't… oh my gosh! I forgot Weiss!" Ruby exclaimed.
With Naruto and Yang
Naruto sighed, "Why did I agree with this?" he asked.
Yang cackled, "Because you can't get enough of me. Why else are you holding me so close?" she asked.
"Because you don't have a sidecar." Naruto answered.
"Pfft! A sidecar? Mama don't do no sidecar!" Yang replied.
As one could guess, Yang was speeding across town on her motorcycle dubbed as, Bumblebee. With Naruto having to hang on from behind her. Especially with how reckless Yang can be on the road. Apparently, what people call reckless, Yang calls it fun. As seen as she pulls over in front of some night club.
"Wow, feels like I'm in a cheap movie. Are you sure this contact is reliable?" Naruto asked.
"Yeah, of course. He gave me whatever I had the last time I crashed here." Yang answered.
"Let me guess, is it some mafioso who doesn't like you or did you threaten some innocent business owner?" Naruto asked.
Yang feigned sadness, "After everything we've been through? All the laughs, all the tears, you accuse me of violence?" she asked.
Naruto gave her a blank face, "Ignoring the pretty face and nice thighs, it's not that hard to tell." he answered.
Yang rolled her eyes, "At least I got some information already." she said with a smirk. "You think I'm attractive." She said with a grin.
"So does Blake, but I don't see you two flirting." Naruto said.
"Yeah haha, wait was that about Blake?" Yang asked.
Inside
Junior's, a fancy looking nightclub run by a man with the same name. Like Roman, his security was composed by a bunch of thuggish looking men in black suits with red sunglasses. Although seemingly more of an honest businessman, Junior was hoping for a normal night to run his bar. Only for his security to start running in and blocking the door while aiming their guns at it.
"She's here! She's here! Close the damn door!" One of them yelled.
Junior walked up to his security, "Hold up, let me through. What are you idiots doing!?" he asked.
Only for Yang to stroll in before the doors completely closed, "Hi, I'm back." she said.
"Yes you are… why!?" Junior asked, looking less than stellar.
Followed by the thugs pointing all of their guns at Yang. Preparing to open fire on her the moment she so much as twitches. Signifying that she has been to this club before and did not make a very good impression. Only for Junior to order them to put the weapons down as to avoid damaging his club.
"The answer to that is, you owe me a drink." Yang said dragging Junior away by his vest.
Naruto sighed as he came in, "I knew there was trouble." he said before looking at the Malachite twins. "So, are you two going to say or do something relevant or just walk away." he said.
The twins huffed, "Whatever." they said, walking away with their noses held high.
Naruto snickered, "Hey if you two are into broody men that say few words. I know a guy!" He said referring to Squall.
With Squall
Squall did not like this, no he did not. Breaking into a White Fang initiation meeting because Blake wanted to gain information from them. Even worse, she initially planned to only bring Sun. Sun, the least responsible person Squall knows. Some really bad chemistry in his opinion. Regardless of that, he made them take him as he already promised Kali that he would protect Blake.
"Are you sure you want to do this Squall?" Sun asked.
"Yes, I'm sure." Squall answered.
"You can back out if you want." Blake said sounding concerned.
"What? Am I not good enough?" Squall asked.
"Easy, we're all friends here. But one little adjustment and we should be fine." Sun said pulling out brown rabbit ears from the 100 lien store.
Squall sighed, "Rabbit ears?" he asked.
"It was this or feathers." Sun said as Squall shook his head at Sun.
Inside
After putting on the fake ears while covering the band with his wavy hair. Squall put on the White Fang eye mask and joined Sun and Blake. Where they were witnessed the large crowd of faunus and White Fang members gathering to see a large tarp on stage. When one of the lieutenants came out.
"Thank you all for coming. Those of you who are new, let me introduce you to a valuable comrade. Let me assure you, he is a valuable asset." the lieutenant said as Roman stepped out.
"What's that human doing here?" asked a random faunus.
"I'm glad you asked derrie! For one, I admit, we humans are the absolute worst." Roman said saluting the crowd. "Many of you want to see us locked away like the true animals we are. Others, might want to see us dead." he said.
"This feels intense." Sun whispered.
"He's buttered them up first. Now he's trying to sell them an idea." Squall points out.
"But before we get violent, let me just say. We have a common enemy. Specifically, the humans that are in control." Roman says slowly winning over the hostile crowd. "They run everything: government, military, economics and especially schools. They're the ones to blame, just a bunch of pests with too much power. So how do we get rid of pests?" he asked seeing everyone getting interested.
Sun went wide eyed, "You were right. It's like watching a movie trailer with a crappy plot." he whispered.
"And this means Roman likely has their loyalty with whatever he's planning." Blake said fearfully.
Those who are Roman removed the tarp, revealing an Atlas Paladin, "We exterminate them! With their own toys no less!" Roman says as every looks at the mecha with awe. "Thanks to my "employer", we grabbed a couple of these fancy tools before they hit the shelves. It's not fun to let Atlas play with these toys now is it?" he asked.
"That's a big robot." Sun comments.
"I think it's not the size that matters." Squall said.
"But how did he get that?" Blake asked sounding more fearful.
Roman continued his announcement, "Now, many of your comrades have already moved to our secret operations in the southwest. You can stay within the city but if you're really ready to fight for what you believe in. This is the arsenal I can provide you. Any questions?" he asked.
"We need to go." Squall said knowing all of this is crucial and enough to report back with.
"All recruits come forward!" the lieutenant shouts out.
"Crap." Squall said as the trio had no idea what to do.
Back at Junior's
Junior sighed, "I still haven't seen your sister. So I got nothing to tell you." he said surprising Naruto in the background.
"That's not what I want. At least, not anymore." Yang said having found Ruby. "I'm looking for Roman. Roman Torchwick, orange hair, bowler hat, stupid cane…"
"I don't know." Junior interrupted.
"What do you mean you don't know?" Yang asked.
Junior leaned closer to his face, "I said, I don't know. Haven't seen him, I lent a few of my men though. None of them ever came back." he answered.
Naruto decided to step forward, "So what? They disappeared?" he asked.
"Might as well have, because they never came back." Junior asked before looking at Yang again.
"Then you better tell me where they went. Because you know how I get without answers!" Yang said angrily.
"What do you want me to say!? Torchwick took my guys, they disappeared and never came back!" Junior yelled as he turned to face his security. "I guess Torchwick didn't like them. Something I can relate to!" He shouts at them.
The guards grumbled at the disrespect and hate from their employer as they walked around aimlessly. At the same time, Naruto could sense the truth and lots of frustration from Junior.
"Time to go Yang." Naruto said.
"What!? Junior still hasn't…!"
"I know, I'm annoyed too, but I can't sense any lies out of him." Naruto said as he pulled Yang away.
"But…"
"I'll buy you a drink another time. Let's go." Naruto interrupted as he dragged her away.
"You should listen to your boyfriend blondie! He sounds like the sensible one!" Junior shouts as Yang growls at him.
Outside
Yang sighed, "So that was a bust." she said.
Naruto put a hand on her shoulder, "At least you found your sister." he said as her eyes softened.
"Yeah, that's good, but I don't think Ruby will feel satisfied with no info on Roman." Yang said.
Naruto shrugged, "She's not spoiled, I'm sure she'll understand." he said.
Yang smiled, "You're a good person to my baby sister. Well, you're a better sibling than me." she said sadly.
"Yang, look at me." Naruto said her purple eyes met his blue eyes. "When I raised Ruby, I told her that I am not replacing anyone. That regardless of how she feels for you, she shouldn't let anger or pain change her. You just have to work for it some more." he explained.
"I guess that sounds reasonable." Yang said feeling hope.
"Remember I'm also giving you one chance too." Naruto adds.
"I know." Yang said looking away. "You know, the night is still young. There's a few nice parts of town. If you want, maybe we can…" before Yang could finish, Naruto received a call.
"Hold that thought." Naruto said as he answered a call form Squall.
"Things took a turn for the worst. That Roman guy somehow got his hands on…"
"HEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPPP!" Sun screamed in the background.
"Go yell at a wall." Squall said.
"Crap." Yang said as she blushed.
"Time to go! Team Banana!" Naruto says as he hops onto Bumblebee with Yang.
"Team Banana? What the hell kind of name is that?" Yang asked.
"I like to see you try." Naruto responded.
"Blonde Squad!"
"That's worse."
"Shut up!"
With Neptune
While remaining on standby, Neptune took off a pair of sunglasses after getting the call, "Looks like it's time for me to bust out the SSSN Mobile." he said walking up to a parking lot.
Several fancy cars of various expensive brands stood in across from Neptune. As he pulled out his keys and signaled the vehicle. Neptune saw lights in the background as the exotic cars started to move out of the way. Revealing what Sun and Neptune considered to be a hot rod for scoring girls.
"The SSSN Mobile will rise!" Neptune said as he hopped over a fancy expensive car.
To jump onto a moped that was covered in spray painted lightning bolts and fire. Along with a few stickers from various comic book super heroes. Followed by Neptune driving at a reasonable and average speed to handle the defensive driving on the highway. While not impressive whatsoever, Neptune felt like a bad ass from every racing movie ever made.

1 - Gary The Atlesian Soldier
Gary like an ordinary soldier of Atlas started his morning like any other person. Waking up early, getting dressed up in his uniform and strapping his gun to his back after having breakfast. Only for his wife to stop him.
"Gary where is Jessica? You are supposed to take her with you for "Take Your Daughter To Work Day" remember?" she asked.
Gary sighed, "Honey, no one actually does that." he said.
"Gary, you promised her. You hardly see your own daughter anymore." his wife said reprimanding him.
Gary sighed again, "Fine, I'll go get her." he said.
At work, a while later
Today's job, raiding a hideout belonging to the White Fang. After destroying the main entrance to the hideout. Someone threw a smoke grenade before opening fire at the terrorist cell. Among the many Atlesian soldiers charging in and attacking the White Fang. Gary can be seen gently leading his daughter towards cover while opening fire at the White Fang at the same time.
"Keep your head down Jessica." Gary said.
"Okay daddy!" Jessica yells, fearing that she's going to get hit in the crossfire.
Only to drop her teddy bear during Gary's run to cover.
"Mr. Fuzzy Bottom!" Jessica yelled as she tried to run after it.
Only for Gary to hold her back during the shooting. He then looked at his daughter's sad face as she pointed at her stuffed animal. Making him sigh yet again as he realized that he needed to rescue it.
"You have to be kidding me." Gary muttered as he rolled into the middle of the crossfire.
Shooting two White Fang members in the process while dodging and side stepping like some sort of ninja. Where Gary finally grabbed the stuffed animal and ran back to his daughter. He hoped his daughter was happy now because the shooting was now over and General Ironwood arrived.
"Who is this little girl?" Ironwood asked.
"Oh! General Ironwood!" Gary said sounding startled. Gary then tried to explain himself, "It's Take Your Daughter To Work Day and I'm sorry for bringing her but… my wife says I never see her and she's right! Okay! She's right!" He exclaims.
Ironwood looked at his subordinate with an emotionless mask. Making Gary unsure of what the general was thinking.
"Do you have kids? Because… they change your world." Gary said trying to be sympathetic. "I'm so getting fired for this, but F*** it! I love my daughter!" he said.
Ironwood nods, "That is understandable and I can see where you are coming from." he said now sounding sympathetic.
When suddenly, more Atlas soldiers arrived and dragged out the commander of the White Fang cell. Where Ironwood proceeded to shove a gun to his forehead.
"What have you done with those stolen plans from the SDC? Gary never sees his daughter because of people like you." Ironwood said before executing the commander.
'He didn't even get an answer yet.' thought the soldiers that were restraining the White Fang commander.
Ironwood then faced Jessica, "Are you having fun little girl?" he asked. Jessica responded with a whimper, "Relax, there's no need to be afraid. You guarantee your safety knowing I'm leading Atlas." he said before walking away as if nothing happened.
Gary mentally cursed his job and his wife because Jessica is likely mentally scarred.
2 - Chick Magnet
Naruto pulled out a seal, "This is a seal. My ancestors discovered it and used it's spiritual power for more complex uses. Like disabling aura and paralyzing individuals." he said presenting it to Jaune.
"Okay, so what does a fancy piece of paper have to do with getting me with Weiss?" Jaune asked.
"This one is a chick magnet in a literal sense. The original version was meant for me to bring Ruby to my side in case she got lost." Naruto explained as he looked around for a moment. "Except, this works on either the best girl with a matching wavelength or the girl you are the most attracted to." he said.
"Does it work!?" Jaune asked with excitement.
"I don't know, I haven't tested it yet. Hey Ren, test it for me." Naruto said slapping it on.
"What? Did you just put a piece on me?" Ren asked when suddenly, Nora attached herself to him like a magnet.
"What the heck? Why am I stuck to Renny?" Nora asked.
Jaune fist bumped the air, "It does work! Let me try!" he says.
Naruto rips off the seal causing Nora to fall off of Ren. He then proceeded to put the seal on Jaune. Who patiently awaited Weiss to appear beside him. Only for Pyrrha to get attached to him instead.
"What is going on!?" Pyrrha asked with much confusion.
"Pyrrha!? Naruto this seal is broken!" Jaune complained.
Naruto glared at Jaune, "It is not broken. You just have no idea what an attractive girl is." he said as he took the seal for himself. "Look, it works." he said as he waited.
When suddenly, Yang came flying through a wall and attached herself to Naruto, "This is freaky! What is this!?" she asked.
"Yang? I guess Yang is the type of girl I like." Naruto said making Yang blush.
That's when Blake entered the room, "Guys, what is going on?" she asked.
Naruto then put the seal on her, "Let's see what happens if I put a chick magnet on a girl." he said.
"Whatever this is, I don't like it." Blake said as Squall crashed into her.
"This is not funny." Squall said with his arms crossed.
Naruto nods, "Maybe it's a calibration issue." he said giving it back to Jaune. "Just flip it upside down." he said.
"Okay." Jaune said only for Pyrrha to attach herself again. "Dang it Pyrrha! Get off! Weiss can't appear if you get stuck to me." he said.
"Jaune, I think you need to take this moment to reevaluate your crush." Pyrrha said.
Naruto sighed, "Don't bother Pyrrha, I doubt Jaune is capable of moving past his anima." he said.
Pyrrha looked surprised, "Oh… I see." she said before falling off of Jaune.
"It's working!" Jaune said.
"No vomit boy, it means Pyrrha doesn't like you anymore." Yang said as Pyrrha left.
"So why are you stuck to me? I got rid of the seal." Naruto asked as Yang blushed at how close she was.
3 - Chibi R0tacid's office
Chibi R0tatcid was stressing out in an office full of papers, "How did I screw up that badly!? Why do I have 4 stories left to finish within a week!?" he asked.
Suddenly the phone went off, "Mr. R0tatcid, a Subaru Natsuki is here for your meeting." said a secretary.
"That was today!? Damn it!" R0tatcid screamed. "Fine send him in! Also, tell the readers that there isn't a Red vs Blue reference but I'll tell you the World of Remnant Secret to satisfy them with today's short chapter!" he yells.
"I am listening sir."The secretary said preparing to write down the secret.
"World of Remnant Secret, despite how professional Ozpin can be and how much he values work ethic. He's in a hopeless office romance that makes Glynda feel uncomfortable.
