Ten months, Midoriya has ten months to prepare for the entrance exam.

Sure, his plan is to train but it doesn't mean he can do that easily. His scrawny figure is without a muscle and his strength is comparable to a child. So, in order for him to compete with quirk users, he must endure all of the pain that is going to come

Here he is hauling a mass of junk across the beach. You may ask why he is here. He already said that he would train but why here and not some kind of gym. The answer to that is very simple, he had no money. Izuku doesn't want her mother to spend more money, he feels kinda guilty because of how much he buys All Might and other hero merchandise. Besides that, this beach, Dagobah Beach had become a dumping site because of the sea currents piling the trash here.

He would become a hero not for flashiness, he would become a hero to save people and prove to them that everyone can be a hero. It's true that the Hero game is a labor of love, the cleaning of the beach will be his first hero act. This will be Izuku Midoriya's first step to become a hero.

"Let's resuscitate this place to the horizon!" he shouted.

Though, being strong in a sense doesn't mean he will pass the entrance exam easily. He still needs to learn how to fight first.

Searching on the internet for a dojo, Izuku found a karate dojo near his home just two rides across. After taking note of the address and the name of the dojo, he set out to register himself the next day.

"Here it is… " he said standing in front of the building.

It was similar to the other dojo's he can see on the internet except for the large nameplate of the dojo on the top of the gate. The sign read " Kendo Dojo".

His heart keeps beating hard, he has prepared himself to enter the building but still he can't stop himself from feeling nervous.

'You prepare for this, don't feel nervous now Izuku' he said to himself. Even if he said that to himself, his legs kept shaking. Getting stronger as he reaches the door of the dojo.

He was there standing in front of the door finally. This is it, the next step for him to become a hero. Midoriya took a sigh ' this is it' he murmured. He opened the door, but before he could say his greeting. He was stopped by an old voice.

"There you are boy, I thought you are not going to enter" The old man said, lazily opening one his eyes to see him.

This was not Midoriya expecting when he entered, he was expecting to see students in white gi practicing their form and sparring. However, what he got was an old man sitting in the center of the dojo.

"Go get your gi in the backroom, we will start" the old man said, while standing "I'm Kendo Ryo but call me Ryo-Sensei here" he added still not batting an eye at him.

Without much hesitation, Izuku followed Sensei's order. He needs to start now, or else he will get behind all the aspiring hero students and of course the students in this dojo. However, Izuku felt like something is wrong in this place.

"Stand there," Sensei said, pointing at the center of the floor. His hunch back suddenly straightened. The once calm nature around him suddenly changes to a fierce one. He looked at Midoriya like he was just a small animal, and when he decided it he would kick him out.

Izuku visibly flinched at the sudden change of demeanor, but no he will not be afraid anymore. He will not be put down by anyone again. Cleaning Dagobah Beach is not enough, so even if Ryo-Sense will kick him out, Izuku will come back again and again until Sensei lets him in again. Yes, he can choose another dojo, however there is a certain reason Izuku chose this place specifically. But Izuku doesn't really want to say what it is.

"What is your reason for learning how to fight." his voice was firmed.

Izuku gulped, what he will say would surely make the decision If he is going to stay or not. He strengthened his confidence, fire burning in his eyes.

" I want to train to fight to protect others. I want to train to become a hero."

The fierce aura around Ryo-sensei increased, eating the air around the room. The sheer force of the aura made Midoriya choked in his own throat.

"Why do you want to become a hero?"

"I want to become a hero to save others, I want to make the people safe whenever I am here. If I'm in front of them and have a chance, I will save everyone no matter who they are. and more importantly prove that even a quirkless like me can become a hero"

Ryo-sense huffs before laughing out loud. "You will save everyone..." Izuku tilted his head, visibly confused at the old man. He was not disgusted because of his quirkless? Instead he challenged him"For the time you will be here, prove me to that you can be strong and a Hero"

Izuku visibly perked at Ryo-sensei's words. However, there is still something that is bothering his mind. Where are the people?

"Ummm, sensei can I ask you a question? Where are the other students in here?"

"Oh!" Ryo-sensei's jolted up "There are no other students in here and my granddaughter is in another dojo, you are the sole student "

The sole student, Midoriya don't know if he was going to be happy or not. On the other hand Ryo-sensei can focus on teaching him. It was like having a personal teacher, and Izuku will take that chance in a heartbeat. Now, it's time to say his training plan.

"Sensei, I'm going to master everything that you will teach me in ten months" Izuku declared.

"You make me laugh boy, no sane human can do that. No person can master my teachings in just ten months." there was no malice nor belittle meant in his words. It was pure fact. Of course, he knows it. That's why he needs to become a monster in order to surpass those who possess a quirk and geniuses.

"then I will surpass my limits, even if it means that I became a monster, a demon to master it then."

Ryo-Sensei made a mischievous grin, before pulling out a chunk of metal out of nowhere.

"Now, Punch this."

And so the curtain lifted for his ten months of literal hell.

His day was filled with pain, a lot of pain. Midoriya would hauled the trash on the beach, learn martial arts in Ryo-sensei's dojo. He made him punch and kick through metal until he literally bled out. Run ten kilometers, one-hundred push-ups and one-hundred sit-ups, Midoriya would double this later in his second month. Apart from that, Izuku also invested in learning parkour, he would secretly climb through buildings, jumping from one and the other. He would not forget the time he fell out of those old buildings almost breaking his back. Izuku learns engineering in order to create his own support items or just for him to learn how robots work, because as he read from one of the forums UA uses large robots as a test for their Entrance Exam.

Though, even if he said that, he will also need money to create his equipment. He cannot always rely on his mom's money so Izuku learns to invest in the stock market. Miraculously, his money actually grew in size. The first thing he did of course in the money was treat his mom to dinner.

"Izuku, where did you get this money?" Inko Midoriya, his mother asked.

"Oh, I get it from investing in stocks… " he replied.

"I see... "

Apart from treating his mother and buying equipment for his training and creating support equipment. Midoriya also invested in one of the construction companies, the reason he chose this company is because even though they are small they have a high quality of work and with just a simple push they can grow very much larger.

Halfway through his ten months of literal hell, while he was pulling a large refrigerator in his back, Izuku suddenly fell down in his face. His breath was ragged and his skin was comparable to a sick person's color.

Overwork…

Izuku is overworking himself to his bones. He knows it, his workout regiment is actually a hellish torture and will only bring an excruciating pain but Izuku felt like it was enough so he doubled it. One simple human would faint just by his normal workout but Midoriya is a stubborn person so he doubled it and now… All the fatigue accumulated in his body struck him all at once.

No, this is not enough. It is still not enough, all of those who had a quirk are also working for themselves, tiring their body until they fainted on the floor. Izuku doesn't need to stop, he needs to keep moving forward.

Even if his sight was getting darker and his body felt like it was a jelly.

He clenched fist tight "This is not enough to pass the exam! If I don't work a dozen times harder than everyone else I'll stumble and fail" he raises his hand, supporting his body "I want to be a hero!" Izuku raised his body.

" I want to be as strong as the strongest hero! "

Izuku Midoriya clenched the rope coiled in his body tight, and began pulling once again. With every step his verdant eyes glowed with fire brighter and brighter.

Six o'clock in the morning the day of the exam.

Izuku is standing on the clear beach, watching the sun slowly emerge from the horizon. It's been one week since he finished cleaning the beach and now this is the day, the day of the entrance exam.

"I can do it… " he murmured.

"Boy, What are you doing here early this morning?"

Midoriya snapped his head back, his sight caught the source of the voice. He was a scrawny man (he is more like a skeleton) with blonde hair and sunken face but you can see his blue burning brightly out of the dark.

"Oh, I'm just watching the sunrise. I want to motivate myself today because today is my entrance exam." he replied.

"I see… " he looked around the beach, his face having a visible confusion "Boy, If I may ask where all the trash is. I know that this become an illegal dumping site and as far as I know it the locals didn't have any kind of cleaning drive"

OH, so that's the reason he is confused.

"Well I cleaned the beach in order to train myself" he said, his cheeks being visibly red.

Suddenly, the scrawny man coughs out blood. Midoriya rushed to him "Are you okay, mister? "

"Yagi" he answered "I have an accident five years ago so me coughing blood is pretty normal but my boy," he look at him straight at his eyes "Did you seriously clean the entire beach"

He scratched his cheek in embarrassment "yes… "

"boy, why di-"

Before Yagi finished his sentence, Midoriya's watch beeped. His eyes widened as he saw the time. He was already late.

"I'm sorry mister Yagi but I need to go" he said rushing off

"Goodbye… '' Yagi awkwardly waves at the green-haired boy he is just talking to right now. "He is certainly fast… " he whispered, before turning his back and began watching the sun rise.

I ' m going to be late. I'm going to be late. I'm going to be late,' Midoriya keeps muttering. However in that instant he remembered something that he done earlier before "I hope Ryo-sensei's will be not mad when he entered the dojo today"

All of his training would pay off today. He needed to pass the Entrance Exam.

Just after he opened the door of the dojo Ryo Kendo was greeted by a gruesome sight. Tons and tons of metal chunks was oblirated to pieces, some are crushed, have holes in it and even fold to an origami of a crane.

How can a chunk of metal turn into a paper crane or in this case metal crane.

Of course, there is only one person who can do that, he was the sole student of this dojo and the one who had the key beside him.

"Izukuuuuuu Midoriyaaaaa "

Author Notes:

I just realized that I put the wrong surname for Ryo-sensei. If you're reading this, then it means I already fixed it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
