(AN: OS here, I feel the need to say this- if you see anything that looks like it might be from another FanFic that is because we were inspired by other Fics so..Just don't be too quick to call us out. We use ideas from our own minds, and if it resembles another fic this is why. Also I feel the need to point this out, our characters are intentionally Overpowered. If you don't like this don't read it, we aren't changing it. )
James POV
Holy shit. How did I get away with that? I just managed to walk away from Aegeon, also known as my upstairs neighbor. How did I not notice? Also the fuck is with that powerset? Is that Fio? Jesus motherfucking H Christ! I feel bad for anyone who tries to fuck with them. If I thought I was going to have a panic attack before from that vision, now I might have a stress induced aneurysm! Not only do they have the physical body of an Endbringer, which makes them functionally immortal, but also a variant of Sting?! I need a drink. Fuck being a minor, this calls for some fucking whiskey.
I shook my head as I finished my internal rant. I looked around, checking to see if anybody could see me, and Blinked back to my base. My base was underneath a warehouse in the Docks, which apparently was Fio's base. Ironic that a Villain lives in the basement of a Hero, but who would think to look there? Bright side of being friends with some people in the Toybox was I got a hell of a base out of it.
I Blinked into the Main room of my base. To my left was a hallway leading to the bedrooms and the gym. The main room also served as my Recreation room, furnished with couches, chairs, tables, multiple TVs, consoles from all generations, and a pool table. It also shared the space with my kitchen. To my right was the entrance to the Barracks which shared space with the Communications and Generator rooms. In front of me was the entrance to the garage which housed my motorcycle and car. I tended to use the bike for leisure patrols.
I made my way to the kitchen, tossing my bag on a couch as I passed. I sat down and turned on a TV after grabbing myself a Rum and Coke. I turned on my PS4 and set it to playing some anime. I needed background noise while I thought.
Okay. Time to plan. Now that I'm aware of everything, I need to do something. I know Alec, or Aegeon now, has a plan for Taylor. I need to be the one that has an in with the Undersiders. Hell, I could even go all the way and become a Warlord like Skitter did. Things for later though. I know that the story starts in April, so I have 4 months to practise everything.
I sat for a moment as the plans started forming in my head. I could get an easy in with the Undersiders if I just killed Lung, Kaiser, and maybe Coil. Unfortunately the last one might turn Brian against me, but if I set him up with the necessary resources before I offed Calvert he might turn. Lisa was easy, as were Regent and Bitch. Lisa was under constant threat of death, while Regent just wanted to do what he felt in the moment. Bitch was honestly even easier cause I could convert the Barracks into a dog shelter.
I would wait to see how things went for the next few months first. I needed to meet with Fio first. If we could make a plan together that would be even better. I might be good at fine details, but she was better at the big picture. When we would talk about things Before we would talk for hours about what to do, but once we finished the plan would be damn near that though, I needed to double check my Powerset from the CYOA.
I had Blink with the Second Trigger, which was useful as the Second Trigger let me Telefrag people. Bye-bye Kaiser. I had Unlimited Ammo Works, also with the Second Trigger which gave me unlimited ammo as long as I had one left. With the Second Trigger though, I could change the ammo type to any other type I've used before and spawn phantom copies of what I shot. Filling out the last of my main powers, I had Power Sight with the Second Trigger. I could See if someone had powers, and what they were. The Second Trigger let me do that within a 50 foot radius, as well as if they were using said power. I had a freaking Byakugan, so I could see everything in a 100 foot radius sphere as well. I had a smattering of low grade powers as well. I had the Tier 4 versions of Mover, Blaster, Thinker, and Stranger. In order, they gave me enhanced reaction speed, perfect accuracy, infinite multitasking, and people underestimate me. The last one didn't seem like much, but considering it was vague, and my memories of this life, it didn't matter if they had already fought me.
I thought I was missing something, but couldn't put my finger on it. It was almost as if there was a block in my memories. Odd, but not that concerning. I saw Fio enter my Byakugan range for a moment, before she passed through it.
"Oh I guess she's home now," I said to myself. I stood up, turning off the console and TV as I stretched. "Might as well say hi." I focused for a moment, picturing the outside of the warehouse and vanished without a sound as I blinked to the front door.
Fionn's POV
So I, as Aegeon waited for the police, PRT, and ambulance to arrive and then met the ambulance at the hospital, after calling Amy or Panacea. And Danny, otherwise known as Daniel Hebert, head of hiring for the Dockworkers Union. I may or may not have mentioned that I do know her in and out of costume. So after getting yelled at by those two I simply told them I would meet them at the hospital and sent my android body home.
After arriving at the hospital I made sure that Taylor was going to be fine, Danny was on the way and Amy was going to be by to check on her in a day or two. So I sat in her room with her until Danny showed up, and then I went home for the day. And by home, I mean to my not so secret base which is a warehouse in the Docks. So, I should probably recap my projects for the last few years. The first big thing I made was a Molecular Furnace, from Star Wars. Then using the Furnace, I made a teleporter for putting things in space. Following that I made a Stargate pair and, using the teleporter, put one of the gates in Sol's local asteroid belt. I'm sure you can see where this is going by now but you know, no kill like overkill, as the saying goes. From there it got almost out of hand. I started off asteroid mining for the Furnace, and then began building mecha. Oh, and expanded my warehouse internally to make an automated factory for, ya know, stuff. And I made the Warehome a Blindspot against precogs. So to cover the mecha I have made, I made The Red Comet from Gundam, I made the Banshee Norn from Gundam, and Gurren Lagann from Gurren Lagann.
As I entered my warehome, I was greeted by Sasha, one of my AIs. "Hello Fio. Welcome back," she said, her android platform approaching.
"Thanks Sasha." I said. I then stripped out of my power armor named The Super Suit, and moved to check on Banshee for diagnostics.
"Did everything go alright today?" She asked, with a small amount of concern or worry in her voice. I don't know, I'm bad at reading people.
"I forgot that today was the day, the day I was supposed to stop, and the day that will change everything." I say. "Can you get Charlemagne to double check the Comet?"
"Of course, is there anything else?" She asked.
"Yeah, make sure Riley has finished her homework please." I said.
With that she nods and walks off, hopefully going to do as I asked. If you're a little confused, allow me to shed a bit of light. I'm not an asshole like Richter, I have two pillars that I centered my AI around. The first is to be there for others, by that I mean be there to help people. The second would be obvious even if it wasn't a central part of their creation, use their best judgement. By that I mean take as many peoples opinions into account as they feel necessary but in the end let no one make the decisions for them.
After running the diagnostic and making sure everything was operating at peak efficiency I went to go check over profile documents. When you can make anything, as it turns out, giving powers in various formats is pretty easy. All you need to do is background checks and have them sign a non liability waiver. So anything bad that happens they can't hold me accountable, if that sounds a little like Cauldron you aren't quite wrong but not quite right either. I try to make sure all the people I bestow powers to will be heroes unlike Cauldron who give them out essentially left and right, while also kidnapping people to test their formulas on. I'm not doing that, and if it still sounds sketchy that's because it is. Because I can bio-tinker some of the ways I have used are technically untested tech, I'm not handing that over to the PRT or Protectorate. That would be so incredibly stupid, just give it to Cauldron and send them right to my door, yeah right. My two greatest successes are Trickshot and Exopa, Trickshot being a powerful Blaster/Thinker and Exopa being a Shaker/Blaster. Anyway, looking over the profiles I have one or two candidates in this group that I can pay a visit to. And if all goes well they will probably see powers of some kind in their near future.
(AN: BatteryThief here. Sorry about the wait! It's entirely my fault. OS wanted this to drop before the holidays, but I ended up not being able to write for basically ALL of December. On the bright side, you guys get a New Years gift? Yay? Alright even I have to admit that was bad. I'll try to write more frequently so this isn't a common occurrence, but I won't make any promises. After all, why make a promise if I end up not keeping it?)
