An echo of footsteps bounced off in the hallway. Sakura is now being lead, by what she called a lackey, to her current quarters. The Hero Public Safety Commission had taken interest in her quirk (and wished to hone it as one of theirs) and not so subtly coerced her to take temporary residence in one of their quarters.

The Police Force believed that she was still a prime target for the League of Villains based on what they had gathered. Sakura staying with the Hero Public Safety Commission was what the Police Force needed to keep an eye on her. They had also coordinated some 'volunteer' heroes to guard her (really, it was basically babysitting). Sakura internally scoffed at that.

Sakura felt a headache coming and welcomed it to distract her from her thinking.

She really needed to get out of here and find a way back. She did not care for this world's heroes, villains, and this society. She did not like the way they see this world as black and white. She had learned about this when the kind detective answered her questions on the way here.

Sakura lived quite a gray life. Most shinobi did. Their world was run with darkness while simultaneously basking in light. Civilians don't even hate shinobi that kill to protect as it was their job to do so. In this world, once you kill, you are considered a villain. What about in self-defense then? Sakura huffed at this society's weird morals.

The guide stopped suddenly and made her bump into him. Sakura winced at the stinging pain she felt when her nose hit his head. Sending her chakra to her nose quickly, the lackey stepped aside with a pissed off expression. She mumbled an apology as she turned towards the door of her sleeping quarters.

The room was bare as there was only a plain bed with a storage closet underneath, a desk with a clock and chair in one corner, and what she thinks is the shower. A plain curtain covered the view of the outside from where she stood. Oh, good. A window.

Her eyes trailed back to the clock on the desk. The glare from the sun through the curtains reflected from its face, she squinted. It was already five minutes past one. She turned around to thank her guide but saw that he had already left and the door closed. She is left alone in a barren room to wait for her watcher.

Sakura's lips thinned at the thought of a watcher. More like babysitter.

The Commission had 'voluntarily' assigned her a watcher and the Police agreed. No one was a better watcher than a hero. That was their underlying reasoning. The Commission also jumped at the decision to their 'dog' (no, they did not say that but the way they worded that he would be at their beck and call made her say so). She scoffed at the not-so subtle power play.

With nothing to do she walked towards the bed and laid on it. Closing her eyes, she tried to dream of her Konoha. Tried.

Sakura sees a small house. A rather quiet house. She enters and sees multiple pairs of shoes lined up by the entrance. She looks down to her own feet and felt compelled to remove hers. A pair of tiny green boots sat next to a pair of red sneakers.

"I'm home!" A voice, not hers, but came from her lips.

"Welcome back!" Another voice yelled out, this time it sounded more masculine and young.

Sakura turns around and runs towards the voice, her arms wide open. She crashes to a pair of lanky arms. The male staggered from the force but welcomed it. He chuckled and held her face in his thin fingers.

"Hello Sacchan." Her green eyes met another. Sakura hugged him, his fingers played with her white hair (almost the same as his) as he indulged her.

"Brother! Guess what?" She yelled, her tiny hands in the air like it was something. The brother hummed, feigning a guess.

"What is it, Sacchan?" Her eyes twinkled at his question.

"I have a quirk!" Sakura sees her brother's lips form a thin line.

"I see." Sakura thought that her brother did not like quirks so she immediately stopped talking about it. She fidgeted in her place then brightened. She pulled her brother's hand, leading him to a different room.

"I made a friend today!" She happily exclaimed. She turns around a moment and sees her brother smiling once again. She continued, "She's got blonde hair and- and pretty blue eyes..."

Sakura wakes up to nearing footsteps and the dream still clear as day. She stalked towards her door, standing behind it when it is opened.

A knock.

Sakura poured chakra out of her nodes towards the newcomer. Male.

Another knock.

Tall, well taller than Sakura.

And another.

Wings- what?

The doorknob jingled and the door opened. "Hey, it's me. Your uh- watcher."

Sakura walked out from behind the door and looked at the stranger. Her eyes studied his features and him doing the same. Tan jacket lined with fur and a black shirt underneath. Sakura took a step closer and sees that he shares the same eye color as her master, messy blonde hair and a pair of red wings.

His wings were gorgeous. The color resembled Ino's lips (when she went on dates), the Sharingan, the Kyubii's chakra, and the color of blood of her patients. It made her think of Konoha, her home.

Noticing her fascination with his wings, he moved a feather in front of her. His stance on ease and said, "You can touch it, if you want"

Sakura held out her hand and reached out to the feather. She blurted out, "It's soft."

"Well, yeah. As most feathers do." He smiled and parted his mouth to say his name.

"I'm the Wing Hero, Hawks." He saw her breaking out from her fascination into a face of professionalism.

"I'm Sakura. Just Sakura." Hawks surveyed the room behind her.

"Well then, Just Sakura. Would you like to get some fresh air?" He smiled and offered his hand to her.

Sakura grinned at him and accepted his hand, "Yes, please. Wing Hero: Hawks." Goodbye, boring room!

Her hand still holding onto the feather, Hawks lead her outside.

The two were currently walking inside the premises of the Commission (in one of their branches). The soft rustling of clothes and the soft steps of the hero filled their silence (the hero noted the unusual silent footsteps of the female).

Sakura was quickly getting bored of the silence (and she needed information). So she initiated a question, "Can you tell me about your quirk?"

The way Sakura said the word made him pause. Sure, the question was common interviews but the way it was said implied that she was unused to the word. Hawks also noted that she used a lot of the old language.

"My quirk is Fierce Wings," He started and looked around, trying to seem uninterested. "I can use it to fly and control each feather to do what I want."

Hawks withheld that he can turn them into blades. Sakura hummed at that, noticing that he was hiding something. Can't have that, can we?

Sakura silently looked for information she can part with. With a skip in her step, she looked at the hero and said, "Well, I can heal and am super strong."

Hawks turned to look at her. Ah, an exchange. Okay, I'll bite. He smiled and sped up his steps, crossing his arms behind his head.

"I can also turn them into blades." He said, just enough to be a whisper. Sakura's ears perked upthen walked faster to keep up with the hero.

"What was that?" She asked.

"Feather Blades." He said while side eyeing her. He sees her thinking and waited.

"I can also walk on walls." She said noncommittally.

"What?"

"Did I say that? I meant, surfaces." At that, Sakura caught Hawks' attention visibly, just like she wanted. Her eyes twinkled under the sun and Hawks certainly did not miss that.

Sakura and Hawks continued the exchange.

\\

"So, you're a fan of this Endeavor guy."

"Yes."

"The one covered in flames?"

"Yes."

"He seems like a dick, to be honest."

Hawks made a noise at that.

\\

"Can we go to the crater?" Sakura asked. Hopefully she could find some clues there as that was where she woke up. The hero feigned thinking about it.

"You have no clearance to do so." Damn.

"That doesn't mean you couldn't go there, right?" Sakura prodded further. Hawks shook his head.

"Oh come on, I'll give you a demonstration on what I could do." Sakura offered in a singsong voice. Hawks thought that she's used to doing things like this, he placed another pin on it.

He really shouldn't take her anywhere but- he was also ordered to obtain information about her and a demonstration of her abilities would be really useful. Hawks was quiet as he mulled over the pros and cons and Sakura knew that she could get him to agree to it.

"Just an hour. In and out." Hawks finally said and she internally cheered.

\\

"Damn." Sakura voiced out as soon as she had a clear view of the giant crater. It was certainly smaller than she and her master can make but on what Sakura knew of this world's earth. It was certainly sturdier as it is more compact.

"It was a disaster and we lost the Symbol of Peace in the process."

Sakura crouched down the soil and fingered at the dirt. She felt traces of energy within it.

Hawks stood behind her studying her actions. She stood up and walked towards where she remembered the stand-off occurred. She shifted her legs in a more comfortable position and closed her eyes.

The energy in the area was more dense and resembled the ones she felt from the other figure and from All Might. It was strange. It was like chakra and not chakra at the same time (that's why she called it energy).

None of the other people she met had energy while the two from last night had. All Might's energy was fading but still.

Sakura ran her chakra to the ground and the trace energy and chakra mingled. Nothing happened, of course. But it was a positive find that nothing might go wrong with her accidentally mixing the two components.

Sakura then enhanced her senses with chakra to look for clues much easier. The air smelt like dirt and the foreign chemicals she smelled that night, the debris hid nothing useful for her, and the lack of noise proved futile in her search.

"If you're done acting like a hippie, we should leave." Hawks said behind her. Her eyebrow twitched at being called 'hippie'.

Sakura turned around to face the hero and saw that he visibly sweated. Good. She looked away to find anymore visible clues.

"Sheesh, what a terror." The hero whispered to himself which Sakura clearly heard as she still has her chakra enhancing her senses. Sakura snapped her neck to look at the blonde.

"How about we do that demonstration right now?" Sakura asked. Her voice sickeningly sweet. She cracked her knuckles while stalking towards the blonde. Like a predator to its prey.

Hawks sensing her anger, waved his hands around in an attempt to diffuse her wrath.

I'll show you terror.

\\

Sakura was currently being carried by the hero while they rode the winds. His wings flapped occasionally to gain some altitude.

"You know," Sakura said loudly (the winds were making it hard to be heard), "I should've rethought of this when I accepted your offer."

"What? Afraid of heights?" Hawks asked jokingly.

"No. It's the clothes." Sakura said while looking at the micro tears in the fabric.

Hawks looked down and his ears turned pink. They were not micro tears. Sakura willed herself to not push him away unless she wants to fall to her death.

They could both agree that they should've rethought this.

\\

When Hawks returned to Fukuoka that night, he stared at his reflection. His face held no injuries from their impromptu spar. His skin was still smooth and there was no discoloration.

True to her word, Sakura gave him painful demonstration where she gave him cuts and bruises then healed it all after the beating.

He could still feel her fingers coated in blue light when she swiped at him, splitting his skin to form wounds. Her fist when she hit his arm as an attempt to block her punch was one of the dumbest things he did.

His bone broke into pieces from her punch then he dropped down from the pain and Sakura rushed to heal his arm.

She told him that she didn't intend to hurt him that much and held back most of her strength. Superstrength, indeed.

Hawks made a note to report his findings to his superiors later.

He made another note to not piss her off.

The next morning, officers and heroes assigned to the clean up in that area noticed new small craters inside the large one, inside the craters there were growing weeds.

\\

Days later, Sakura is being escorted by an officer to another hero. She was bummed out that she couldn't hang out with Hawks again (he was not offended when she implied that he was a babysitter). Hawks wanted to hang out more but 'Duty calls!' was what he yelled before flying off. Her time spent with the hero was fruitful and she's hoping that this one would be too.

She and the officer took a train to the hero's agency and they now stood in front of a large 5-story corner building.

Sakura turned to her companion and asked, "So who's going to babysit me this time?" Her hands behind her back and swayed on the balls of her feet.

A cough made her turn around. Sakura sees a tall man in a suit and glasses. His red tie had polkadots caught her eye. She placed a finger on her chin and tilted her head in thought.

Sakura took a step forward to check then looked up at the individual. Her jealousy clawing at her insides while she estimated his height.

"I like your tie," She started then took a step back, "and how tall are you?" She asked, not revealing a hint of her jealousy for his height. The question caught him off-guard.

"200cm" He answered while readjusting his glasses, "I am Sir Nighteye."

"I'm Sakura." The man coughed to his fist, holding back a laugh.

"I am the assigned 'babysitter'." Sakura spluttered.

Sir Nighteye turned around, back to his office. Sakura's reaction brought amusement to the hero, which made his decision to accept the task a bit better.

Sakura checked to see if the officer was still around before following her watcher inside the agency.

I changed some bits and added more parts for Hawks and Sakura's friendship asdfghjkl

Also added that dreamory, so y'all get a bit of background for this version of Sakura.

I used Sacchan as her nickname in the dreamory because why not?
