Videeum system / Nova Altera / Atlantida / Main conference rooms / Two weeks later

Jyllus sat with Helia, Captain of the Tria, and Herodotus, Captain of the Aurora, in the main conference room. They're currently dealing with what the probes launched to find out the situation in the Avalon galaxy.

"So, what's the situation?" Jyllus asked.

"Terrible," Helia said, triggering a holographic projection of the Avalon galaxy. "According to what the probes sent us, it looks like almost 99% of the galaxy is ruled by the Goa'uld which, thanks to our technology, which we have left without any means of protection, pretend to be gods and ruling the galaxy with an iron fist. The Goa'uld can control the human body, and do whatever it wants, "as Helia spoke, the galaxy began to turn blood red, and red controlled 99% of the galaxy, but Jyllus saw in that blood-red several gray dots, and also one blue dot.

"What are the gray dots and the one blue dot?" Jyllus asked.

"Those white dots are the planets that are protected by our old asgard allies. That blue dot is the home system of the Nox," Helia replied.

"And where is our new home system?" Jyllus asked.

"Here," Helia said, the home system was highlighted in green, and Jyllus saw that there was an empty white circle around their systems that marked unsolicited systems.

"How many junk systems are there?" Jyllus asked.

"In total, there are two hundred systems that no one has asked for yet," Helia said.

"Thank you Helia for the report," said Jyllus. Helia, who nodded and the holographic projection disappeared. Then Jyllus looked at Herodotus and asked, "How is the rebuilding of our fleet?"

"In some estimates better than expected, and worse in other areas," Herodotus replied.

"And what is this ?" Jyllus asked.

"Our shipyards, which we left in this galaxy, were found after inspection that they were all destroyed. So we will have to repair them before we can build new ships again, but even that can wait a long time," Herodotus said. "That's the only way we have people on the ships that make up Aurora, Tria, Invidus, Hippaforalkus and Orion. So we'll have to start building new ships when we get more people," Herodotus said.

"Okay," Jyllus replied. Then he looked at them all and asked, "Do we have anything else to discuss?"

"Yes, there is something," Helia said.

"What?" Jyllus asked.

"We have to make sure this system isn't so easy to conquer. But we also have to start mining raw materials," Helia said.

"Okay, you're in charge," Jyllus said after a moment's thought.

"Thank you, I'll be happy to take care of it," Helia replied.

"Anything else to report?" Jyllus asked, and when he saw that no one had spoken, he declared the meeting over. "Herodotus, will you wait for a moment" Jyllus said as Herodotus began to rise from his chair with Helia, but then sat down again, and Jyllus waited until he began to speak again before Helia left.

"What do you need ?" Herodotus asked, confused as he was left alone without Helia.

"I need you to travel with your ship to Terra, and if they haven't reached stellar travel yet, remove all our technology from there and transport it to your ship, and if any Alterans are still alive there, transport them to your ship," Jyllus ordered. "Do you understand Captain?" Jyllus asked.

"Yes, I understand, sir. But may he ask why?" Herododus asked.

"Then what have you forgotten about our laws of first contact with new civilizations? That we can only make contact with a civilization that has reached stellar travel. And if civilization has not yet left their home planet, contact with them is forbidden," Jyllus said.

"Yes, I remember that law. But I also remember one of the conditions when it is possible to break this law," Herodotus said.

"Yes, you will probably mention the article that says this law can be broken when there is a risk of extinction," Jyllus said.

"Yes" Herodotus said.

"Unfortunately, as long as the species on Terre doesn't meet a single requirement, contact is banned," Jyllus said. "Anything else, Captain?" Jyllus asked after a moment.

"No, nothing more," said Herodotus.

"All right, then carry on." Jyllus ordered.

"Yes, sir," Herodutus said, and left the conference room, leaving Jyllus alone in the room.

A few hours later / Jyllus' Office

Jyllus was sitting in his office again, finally looking at Atlantis's database. He didn't have much time before, but now he did. He was looking for anything that could help him restore his race, so he searched the database for only members of the Grand Council and/or the Emperor.

And so Jyllus immersed himself in Atlantis' database.

He was in the database for a few minutes until he came across a file named for their race, and when he tried to open it, it required the code of the High Councilor and/or Emperor. And so he entered his codes, which Atlantis had given him when he declared himself the new Alteras emperor.

When he finally got to the file, he only found a stellar address with nine Chevrons. The file was marked as the future for their race, so Jyllus decided that where it was going was very important.

With that he sent the address to the console for entering addresses into the gate, and closed the database leaving his office, and went to the control room.

When he entered the control room, he walked over to one of the control room techs who was operating a stellar address console.

"Enter the address I sent into the console," Jyllus ordered.

"Yes, sir," the tech said, and went looking for the address on the computer. He found it after a moment, but then stopped, "Sir, that address has nine symbols."

"I know that. Enter the address," Jyllus ordered again.

"Yes, sir," the tech said, entering in the address, the gate came alive with blue light.

By the time the address was on the fourth Chevron, Jyllus was already down the stairs and in the gate room, waiting for the gate to activate. This happened a moment later, and blue energy erupted from the gate, then returned to the gate, settling like the surface of a calm lake.

When the gate was activated, Jyllus walked through the gate, and found himself on the other side.

What Jyllus saw as he emerged on the other side of the gate, was a bright room that looked like the gate room on Atlantis.

Jyllus stood there for only a few seconds, and suddenly a hologram of a woman wearing Alteran white clothes appeared.

"Who you are ?" the woman's hologram asked as soon as she appeared.

"My name is Jyllus, and I am the new Emperor of the Alteran Empire," Jyllus said, and a surprise appeared on the woman's face.

"You're the crown prince who flew with Destiny into space, aren't you?" the woman asked.

"Yes I am," Jyllus replied. "What kind of place is this?" Jyllus asked after a moment.

"You are in the city ship Olympus, which the Alterans built after fleeing Avalon because of the plague to a new galaxy. The reason this city was built was to preserve the culture and future of the Alterans. When the city was done, there were Two million Alterans who were relocated and put into cryo chambers. When they were safely stored in the cryo chambers, the city launched into another large galaxy in the local group. I am the artificial intelligence of this city," Olympus said.

Jyllus was amazed at this, another two million Alterans, so he asked, "Are they still alive?"

"Yes, everyone is still alive and still in cryo." Olympus replied.

"Why haven't you woken them up yet?" Jyllus asked.

"Because there was never a signal to wake up, and my standing orders from the Supreme Councilor were to only wake them when once I received the order from the Supreme Councilor," Olympus replied.

Jyllus thought about it, then replied, "So they're all alive, and they're all in cryo sleep? And you don't wake them up until you get an order, is that right?"

"Yes, you understand this correctly." Olympus replied.

"What are the technological specifications of this city?" Jyllus asked.

"Olympus is powered by five Potentia. It's five times the size of Atlantis. It contains several million cryo chambers that can hold up to ten million living beings. It also has several building nanites that can create whatever you want. It also has a strong shield like Atlanits, when all five Potentiums are involved, the city is able to cross the distance from the galaxy to where we are located to the Avalon galaxy in one hour, and has built-in teleportation rays and alcoves same as Atlantis. The city also has the same weapon platform as Atlantis." Olympus said.

Jyllus smiled at that, already knowing why it was named in the Atlantis computer as the future for their race, thanks to this, restoring their race would be a much easier task.

"Where are we at the moment?" Jyllus asked.

"We are on the edge of this galaxy, on an oceanic planet that orbits an orange dwarf that can live for thirty billion years. The planet itself has two moons, and another rocky planet and gas giant orbit around the star. The ocean planet is like the first to the star, and is the only one in the habitable zone of the star, also the water on its surface makes up ninety percent, the remaining ten percent is occupied by one large continent. "It has a very small atmosphere between the day and night, it also has two small moons that were asteroids that were capturedby the planet and became it's moons. The last planet in the system is a gas giant that has twenty moons," Olympus replied.

"Has any intelligent life ever appeared on this planet, other than animals?" Jyllus asked.

"Yes, exactly two intelligent races appeared in this world. The first race was a reptile race that reached the Iron Age, but they were destroyed by the impact of an asteroid that wiped them out. The second race appeared after twenty thousand years, and they advanced rapidly technologically. Thirty years after they discovered how to split an atom, a nuclear war raged on the planet and they annihilated themselves. I spent another five years after they're destruction cleaning the planet of radiation," Olympus replied.

"Why didn't you intervene in both cases?" Jyllus asked.

"Because the chief councilor forbade me when we arrived here in this galaxy. He forbade me to interfere with the primitive civilizations that may emerge in this world, because it could jeopardize my goal, which is to preserve the Alteran species," Olympus replied.

Jyllus nodded, so he went to the control center, where he asked Olympus, "How long would it take to get to these coordinates?"

While asking Olympus, Jyllus entered in the coordinates for Atlantis, he left the console and waited for an answer.

Olympus closed her eyes, and began to calculate. Her eyes were only closed for a few seconds when she suddenly opened them, and she replied, "It should take an hour and a half at maximum hyperdrive speed."

"Great, set the coordinates on the computer and turn on the hyper drive," Jyllus ordered.

"Order accepted," Olympus replied, and after a while Jyllus heard and felt the city begin to tremble and begin its ascent from earth to space. As the color behind the window replaced the blackness of space, a hyperspace window opened in front of the city, and the city flew into it.

One and a half hours later / System Videeum / In high orbit around Nova Alter

In high orbit around Nova Altera, a hyperspace window opened in the Videeum system and Olympus flew out of it. Jyllus stood in the control center, and around him Olympus staff worked on various consoles, having already had Olympus start waking the core staff from cryo sleep.

After the awakening, and after Jyllus explained everything that happened after they had went into cryo, everyone who woke up swore allegiance to him and his new Alteran Empire.

As soon as Olympus left the hyper window, Olympus' artificial intelligence appeared in the command center.

"My lord, they're hailing us from the surface," Olympus said.

"Alright, open a channel." Jyllus ordered, and in a moment he was looking at the screen, located behind the communications console.

"Unidentifed vessel, you have appeared in restircted space..." At that moment, the operator paused as he noticed Jyllus, and immediately changed his tone. "I'm sorry, sir, but when the unknown ship you're on appeared, we got nervous," the operator said.

"Thats alright, good job following procedure," Jyllus said, smiling at the operator. Jyllus would estimate his age at just over two hundred and fifty, even by Alteran standards, a young Alteran who had just left school. But because they were so few back then, they had no choice.

"Thank you sir," the operator said, disconnecting the channel.

Then Jyllus turned to Olympus and said, "Start the landing procedures, and settle in next to Atlantis."

"Yes sir," Olympus said, and the city ship began to slowly descend to the planet, where she settled on the ocean next to Atlantis.

Then Jyllus turned to all the Alterans in the control center, and commanded, "Start waking up the rest of the Alterans in the cryo chambers."

"Yes SIR!." the officers said, and went to carry out their orders.
