Sakura sat lazily in on of the lobby's couches. Nighteye and her were supposed to do the other part of their deal today.

She eyed her pale hair, the color was bothering her. Her hair resembled Kakashi's but with pink undertones. Her eyes watered at the thought of her boys. She hoped that she could find useful information today.

"There, there." A voice behind her made her jump and chakra coating her hand in reflex. Sakura turned around to see Mirio's head popping out of the wall. His arm waved at her.

"What the hell?" Sakura was then reminded how Mirio's ability resembled Kakashi's teammate's ability. She wished this was all a dream. Her back hunched as she placed her head on her hands.

"I am so done with this." She whispered to herself.

Mirio still had his face sticking out of the wall, looking at her. A smile adorning his face and his unblinking eyes made a weird picture. She shrugged him off. Mirio then sunk back to wall with his hand. Moments later he came back, not through the wall, offering up a handkerchief.

Taking the folded cloth, she thanked him and wiped her tears with it.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Mirio asked, taking a seat beside her.

"No and I won't." Sakura answered. She looked away towards the clock to check the time. Mirio hummed then sat beside her quietly.

Sakura mentally thanked his comprehension. She waited for Nighteye to come out of his office with Mirio never leaving his spot.

"Nii-sama!" The child from the dream yelled at the other figure. The child ran towards him, her long hair swinging chaotically from the speed and a smile adorned her face.

"Sakura," The figure kneeled to her height. The child then grabbed his hands to her own. The red eyes of the figure widened slightly from the strength before smiling at her.

"What is it?" He asked, letting her lace her fingers with his own. Her smile widened at his question.

"Iplantedaseedanditgrewrightbeforemyeyes!" She said rapidly. Her cheeks red and tingling from the wide smile. The brother hummed before swinging their hands together.

"That can't be right. Plants don't grow that fast." He pointed out. He had a vague idea on what it was but needed proof.

"THEY DO!" She yelled while throwing her hands in the air. His fingers leaving hers as he stood up. He shushed her.

"Inside voice, please." He reminded.

"Sorry. But they do!" She whispered loudly. His eyes filled with mirth at his sister.

"Why don't you show me?" He asked. He didn't know if he wanted it to be useful to him or not.

Her eyes sparkled at his question. His reaction pleased her as it was a great contrast to her other brother. She immediately grabbed his hand and pulled.

"Okay!" The brother gladly let his sister lead him. He then decided to see what else it could do after.

\\

Nighteye examined the selection of books Sakura picked up from the shelves of the public library. Nighteye could say that she has interesting tastes in literature. An assortment of novels, articles, and books were stacked on each other. He read one of the titles on the books' spines.

The Case for Parallel Universes.

Nighteye adjusted his glasses to see if what he read was right. He then felt Sakura's gaze on him and he held up his arms before walking away. If she's willing to talk, he'll let her. But for now, he'll do what was said from their deal.

\\

"Brother!" A child with pale hair ran up to her brother. Sakura saw that she wore a color block red and white shirt, a size bigger than what should fit her- so its hems fluttered every time she moved. She sees a pair of black cyclings under that shirt.

"Sacchan, what is it?" The male asked, kneeling towards his sister's height. Moving his seated form on their living room couch to the ground.

"Can I come with Nii-sama?" Her question surprised him, momentarily angering him. His eyes trailed to hers. They almost resembled his shades of green.

"Yoichi," Said name's eyes snapped to red ones. He snarled at the caller, confusing the child. Her eyes trailing back and forth between her two brothers.

"I'm taking her somewhere." The house quieted. Yoichi had his breath stuck in his throat.

Almost breathless, "Where?" He asked.

"Nowhere you can handle." The oldest added as if mocking him.

Sakura eyed the trio then to the glass door in the living room. She studied the pale hair of the stranger in front of her then her eyes. She turned her head back to the other female in the room. Sakura then knew who that kid was. The answer was staring right at her, like the oldest's voice, in a mocking way.

This body was the child's.

\\

Frustration filled her to the core as she turned another page. The books piled up to her left were all useless. To her right, the stack was diminishing and she still couldn't find anything that could help her. Sakura felt her eyes well up with tears of frustration.

Feeling a lump in her throat, she growled in annoyance at the situation. The lump now gone, she turned another page.

Nighteye kept an eye on her for hours now. He had seen her shift through her emotions so fast and often that he lost count. He saw her pick up another reading material.

This went on for another hour.

\\

"You should take a brea-" Nighteye spoke up as he checked his watch. He sees his charge gripping the roots of her hair in frustration.

"No." She spat out. Nighteye didn't think that it was rude of her to do so and ignored it. He stood up from his chair and strode to her area and looked down to her sitting form.

"You should." Nighteye said. This time with more pressure to it. He heard her exhale before releasing the article she had in her hands.

"I don't have the time." Sakura finally looked up at him as she replied. He could see that she really needed to do this for whatever reason.

"We'll come back and finish whatever this is after you take a break." Nighteye offered, slowly picking up the finished reading materials scattered and piling them up for easier return. Sakura restacked the article she was just done with along with the others.

"No. There's no need." Sakura merely replied and stood up. Taking some of the reading materials and return it to their designated shelves. Nighteye followed her with another stack of reading materials.

Curious.

"Why?" Nighteye asked. He then saw her side-eye him before turning to another corner of the shelves. His steps following after hers.

"What's your quirk?" Sakura asked him. He thought that they had already did this and replied with the same answer he had given her before. He heard her sigh. She then pointed out.

"You used your quirk on me before." Unsurprised, he waited for her additional input.

"Your eyes turned purple when you shook my hand and from the name of your quirk and how you are unsurprised about all these is that you already know." Nighteye suppressed his impressions like he did in the vision. Sakura placed another book back in the shelf. He merely followed her figure.

"I want to know what you saw."

Nighteye kept walking and now passed her. He found a book trolley then placed the materials there. He saw her still standing where he passed her.

"Come."

With that, he and Sakura left the public library.

\\

Sakura eyed the child in front of her. She could now see the resemblance of the two bodies. The pale hair, green eyes, small lips. She lifted the sleeve of the child. There she found a little birthmark shaped like a splotch of ink or a misshapen flower like the one she found on her when she checked herself in the mirror.

The child in front of her grinned. Her cheeks tainted faint pink from the action.

"Sacchan is Sacchan!" The child yelled while throwing her hands up.

Sakura felt her lips twitch at her action.

"No. This body isn't mine. It's yours." Sakura said to the child.

"Sacchan is Sacch-"

"Sakura! We're leaving." Sakura heard another voice interrupting the child. She eyed the stranger, vaguely familiar with the figure. He didn't look quite like the oldest brother she remembered seeing her with.

"Hai!" The girl then ran towards the figure leaving Sakura behind.

\\

The two now stood on the rooftop of the agency. They had burgers in one hand and a drink on the other. Sakura went to stand by the edge and sees the city in a night setting. The lights were bright, coming from the cars, streetlights, and establishments. The people walking on the sidewalk faced their mobile phones. Some were walking with their friends and talking. Some were alone.

Sakura turned her head towards the cityscape. The tall buildings darkened from the lack of light in the sky and the windows started illuminating from the lights inside. Sakura took a bite of the burger.

"Spill." Sakura took another bite of her burger.

"I don't just 'spill' visions, Sakura." Nighteye stood next to her. Then took a bite off of his. Sakura took another. She can wait.

Sakura channeled chakra to her ears and eyes, enhancing her hearing and sight. She could hear the chatter of the people below them. Her eyes then trailed to the ongoing conflict a few blocks away from them. Should she tell him?

"Why do you want to know about them, Sakura?" Nighteye asked the female beside him.

She decided not to.

"Shouldn't you already know what I'll say?" Sakura responded. She sipped her drink. Nighteye only grunted in response.

"I just want to know. Is that so bad?" She continued. Sakura finished her burger, crumpling the wrapper. She took another sip. Her eyes then caught another of interest. She sees a person clad in clothing that covered his head to toe. Grey and Black.

"What are you going to do after you know?" Nighteye asked while folding his wrapper in equal parts.

"Depends." She noted the interaction between the newcomer and the covered person. She held herself from talking before she gets what she wants.

Nighteye kept his mouth shut and sipped his drink.

"I won't do anything to harm the many." Sakura assured. She knew that it was enough as it was primarily a hero's job. To protect the many.

Nighteye only looked on the cityscape. The night sky, illuminated by the city lights, seemed darker and made way for the stars to shine even brighter. Sakura sighed before looking at the hero. She parted her lips, a bit desperate.

"Come on. Tell me, Mirai Sasaki. I need to know." The hero, still a bit alarmed at the use of his name, even when he knew it will happen. He still didn't know how she got his name though. He was careful around personal information- as most heroes did.

"Okay." Nighteye adjusted his glasses.

\\

Sakura now stood in the girl's room- she guessed. The pink walls and flower stickers adorned the four walls of the room. She sees Sacchan sitting in one corner with her dolls and stuffed animals in her hands. A tiny doll house lined up the wall beside a toy box. The doll house resembled the one she asked from her parents on her birthday before she met Ino.

Sakura sat down on the floral bed on one side- across the door, so she had a view on who enters. She watched the girl through her peripherals and waited.

It must've been quite a while since she sat there. Sacchan's stomach rumbled loudly, indicating that she is hungry. The girl stood up from her spot and rushed to the door. Sakura followed.

Sacchan turned around a corner then entered what she guessed was the kitchen. The girl then turn around and went inside the next room. Sakura stayed by the kitchen's entrance where she can see the girl.

"Nii-sama! Do you know where Yoichi-nii is?" Sacchan asked the oldest. Sakura couldn't make out his features then, she couldn't make out his features now. All she knows is that he had red eyes that she could see from to time.

"Yoichi is out at the moment. Why?" The oldest then crouched to the child's height. Sakura sensed that he was hiding something. She didn't know what so she continued watching.

"I'm hungry! And I wanted to eat something with him!"

The oldest, feigning sadness, asked the child. "You don't want to eat with me?"

"No! I still want to eat anmitsu with you, Nii-sama! It's just you've been busy lately I-" The oldest chuckled at her rambling. He then picked her up when she ran out of breath.

"Anmitsu?" He asked to which Sacchan agreed immediately.

\\

Mirai eyed the female with him. He waited for her response to what he had revealed.

There was a gentle breeze that made her light-toned hair dance to it. His eyes trailed from her hair to the moon behind her. He still waited for a response from her. It made him a bit uncomfortable waiting for her. He then counted seconds in his mind, unconsciously adjusting his glasses.

The city buzz lessened quite a bit, compared to when they first got here.

"That's it?" Mirai barely heard her soft inquiry.

"What do you mean?" He questioned. "My vision's are accurate." He added.

"That means I can't go back." Sakura whispered. Mirai's ears perked up about that. He didn't know that from his vision as he could only see what happens in it- he could read lips but whispers were difficult. The farther the event the more unclear what would actually happen but there are things that would not change: death. Mirai's thoughts halted at the thought of that- especially his former partner.

Mirai must've heard wrong when he first heard a sniffle. It must've been from the cold he had first thought. He sees Sakura now looking away, a steady stream of tears flowing down her cheeks.

"I know you aren't going to talk." Mirai started, "and I am h-".

Sakura faced the hero, making him voicing out his support halt. Tear streaks staining her cheeks and her hair flying to one direction. Mirai then thought how fragile she looked but knew otherwise. The moon behind her, her hair reflecting its light.

Mirai had a soft spot for the vulnerable, like most heroes did. And his were especially soft at this instance that he shifted his weight and held out his arms outward. An invitation.

In a blink, he felt his breath leave his lungs from the impact and strength behind the action. Reflexively, his arms circled around the female. Mirai is tall as Sakura is short. At this moment, he felt like he was cradling a child. This made him hug her more securely, with the intention that she is safe.

Mirai then thanked the heavens that the woman in his arms was not enemy. Mirai swore then and there that if he became this vulnerable to hidden threats. It would be the death of him.

He felt his clothes dampen in some parts. His left hand then dug through his pockets to retrieve a handkerchief to offer.

"Thank you." Sakura's muffled voice was heard by him. Mirai knew it was genuine as she stepped back from him with a real smile on her face.

Mirai didn't need to ask what for as he already knew what it was for. He adjusted his lopsided glasses.

The two of them talked about random things until the sun rose the next day.

\\

When a hero friend of his visited days later, he stated.

"Whoa, you recently added a skylight."

Mirai glanced upwards his ceiling. The sunlight passing through the glass, adding natural lighting to the interior of his office. Mirai remembered the night Mirai and Sakura spent on the rooftop.

He vowed not to play arm wrestling with her ever again.

\\\

So I changed like a lot of stuff.

If you're new this is it.

I kept the skylight in Nighteye's office because physical reminders of people hurts af than just memories.

I was quite busy so I haven't had the time to rewrote and upload but here it is.

I'm also in a slump as a friend took his own a few days ago.

May he R.I.P.
