It had been days since the rooftop. The two had glimpsed on what the other was. It had made Sakura's stay bearable. To have someone- even if he was a stranger. It was the best Sakura could get with her displacement. Sakura entered the office once again. This time, the office seemed brighter than before- she wasn't sure if it was from the skylight, from her pillar of support, or both.

Her eyes trailed from the sparse furniture that didn't have All Might on it. The past few days she had tried to expand the scope of her chakra. If she wanted to survive this, she would do so, knowing she did everything she could.

Right now, she could use her chakra to sense to the entire agency- for an hour. If done for a few minutes, she could expand her range. She chose not to jump the gun. Every day she trained her senses- chakra sense and enhancements. She didn't want to risk anything yet if she could help it.

She felt someone entering her field. Someone that hasn't been accounted for these past few days but felt familiar. She gathered some chakra to follow the newcomer. The chakra seeping into him with ease- it was easily disguised with the newcomer's nervousness. Her chakra then went to the nearest person to the newcomer, which was Mirio. She hummed, catching Nighteye's attention.

"Newcomer, probably someone you already know or are aware of," Sakura said to the hero. She sat down on one of the spare seats in the office. She crossed her pale legs- these past few days, they had gained some muscle from the constant walking she had done in the building while profiling all the people that worked in it.

Sakura still didn't tell Nighteye about what she could do but she had an inkling he knows some of it- through his vision or observations, she didn't care.

Sakura closed her eyes to poke her chakra more to the newcomer. She then found something she knew she felt before. Her mind then drifted to Kamino.

Sakura heard laughter coming from Bubble Girl, who was in that contraption she saw before. Mirai now stood next to the said contraption and tickled the hell out of Bubble Girl.

Three knocks on the door made her sit up straighter. Mirio and the boy, she remembered him from Kamino- the one who helped that blonde to escape. The corners of her mouth tilted upwards at the daring rescue they did.

Sakura watched the scene unfold in front of her. The kid, Izuku she gathered, wanted to intern under the hero. She also saw Mirai use his quirk on the kid. Gold shifting into purple in a blink and then back to gold.

She saw Bubble Girl leaving with Mirio, she stayed behind- not that the kid noticed her and Mirai didn't mind. Casting a low-level genjutsu on herself, she faded into the background further.

She watched the boy with dark green hair- darker than Mirai's, envelope himself with energy. Sakura studied it closely, realizing that what is currently happening is similar to what happened in Kamino. The streaks of energy covered his limbs as he moved from place to place. She also noticed the boy avoiding the merchandise of the fallen hero.

"Mirai, you're too harsh on the boy." Sakura finally spoke up after the thing ended. Her genjutsu dropped and revealed herself to the alarmed boy. The boy spluttered at the sight of her. Mirai looked towards the female, silently asking to keep whatever happened between them. She only replied with a small smile that the hero caught.

Sakura looked towards the boy once again, noting his paling face. She made a sound of disapproval. Sakura decided to play for a bit while she waited for her escort.

"You shouldn't be so transparent if you're aiming to be a hero, boy." Sakura heard Mirai grunt in agreement.

"But you've got guts." Sakura pointed out, "To accept the challenge of a pro-hero and in a clear disadvantage due to Mirai's quirk."

The boy stood still in his spot- still pale but seemed to be thinking. She saw his eyes widen and point at her.

"You're the girl that punched the villain, helping Kacchan escape." Sakura's lips tightened at the thought of her fighting naked. She mentally thanked me that she didn't point out her lack of clothes that night.

"Thank you!" The boy in front of her bowed towards her.

"Well, can't have the death of an innocent happen right in front of me, yes? It's what medics do. Save." Sakura turned around towards the door, sensing her escort.

"My babysitter is here." She said to Mirai, immediately standing in front of the hero. Mirai only nodded at her and she grinned at him in return before squeezing him tight in a hug- a few joints popping, which didn't fail to scare the boy.

In a blink, she waved at the two green-haired males.

"Ja ne."

Nighteye is quite known to be stoic and intimidating. Nighteye also greatly valued humor as he also requires people to make him laugh before he would see them as more than a stranger. With Sakura, it was different. He didn't need to have her make him laugh as she was supposed to be a job for him as a hero. But she did, with her question and describing her watchers as babysitters, and some rather dark jokes that a hero shouldn't laugh at in public.

He had grown quite fond of the female in a few days that they had spent together. With her spontaneous actions- that still surprised him even when he saw what type of person Sakura was in his vision, he found himself dragged into her world of secrets that only they know. He saw quite a lot.

He might not have the full story as she was tightlipped about it but he understands. He had seen her make jokes unbefitting of a woman, speak an old language and quite the know-hows of what does this do. He was quite sure, from the tests that they had conducted when she was asleep, that her body hadn't done any activity- like she was in a coma for a long time. They'd found that she contained strands of DNA that was pre-quirk mutation but wasn't quite sure yet as she showed quirk usage back in Kamino.

He didn't know what to do about the girl except for reporting to the Commission what he had discovered about her.

He remembered shaking her hand for the deal and used his quirk on the female. He was sure that the usage of his quirk was quite obvious and surprised him by not saying anything about it like she was used to these kinds of dealings and knows when not to say anything.

When he saw her vision, it had surprised him that she had skills in level to some pros. She knew how to track despite her supposed civilian background. She had found the target within the day and managed to escape an impending fight by choosing her battles. She had also managed to transfer the tracker- it was destroyed but he had marked where the last known location it was at. Don't even let him get started with how she waited for a hero-in-training. Scaling buildings was another matter, but Mirai is so sure that this female is not a faceless civilian.

When they went to the library for her research, Nighteye knew that there is something she is hiding something bigger. He mentally memorized the books he saw her pick up and read. But as how the deal went, he wouldn't interfere.

When Sakura interrogated him about his quirk in the library, he knew it was inevitable. Like how he had seen of her, she is quite a smart cookie. Smart and skilled.

Nighteye couldn't forget how defeated Sakura looked that night on the rooftop. Like everything, she believed in turned in on her. He remembered Sakura telling him about her brother-friend that always say, "Believe it!", making her believe in the impossible.

He also remembered how his rooftop got trashed by an arm-wrestling gone wrong match. Sakura was quite surprised by his strength and made her overshoot her strength in the match. Thus, the addition of a skylight on his building.

He distinctly remembered when the female hugged him after he saw her cry. Nighteye noted that night that she smelt like nothing. He only smelt the salty tears, burger, and drink on her. Nighteye also noted that she would often look outside to check the time then use the office clock.

Then this morning, when All Might's successor arrived- Sakura told him about, he still didn't know how she knew about that despite him being discreet about it. He guessed that she could somehow sense people like how she sensed Bubble Girl when the sidekick get quite cheeky and wanted to sneak up on his charge.

Nighteye didn't make her leave from the office when he tested All Might's choice. As he predicted, Sakura faded into the background when she doesn't want to interfere. He still didn't get how she did it too.

Then she told the boy what he had. The way she had said it like they meant something more than 'guts' made him quiet for a moment waiting for her to elaborate but she didn't. Then she left after the second hug they did during her stay. Nighteye knew she was strong from the addition of the skylight. But to hear his joints pop as a chiropractor did to bones was off-putting, she could kill him easily with just that.

Nighteye grew fond of the girl. Everyone working in his agency saw that and he didn't mind the addition to his circle of friends. Yes, he had considered her a friend when she hugged him the second time around.

Sakura sat in the police car silently when she is being transferred to another handler. Her escorts had told her that it may take a while to get to Mirko Hero Office. They had filled her in that her handler is in the top 10 rankings- she didn't get why heroes would rank them by popularity also. Her life was filled with bingo books and the current rankings of Shinobi by their skills and how dangerous they are. The Akatsuki, Kages, and Tailed-beast hosts were usually at the beginning of the book- ranging from S to SS.

Sakura felt around her bulging pocket. The phone Mirai had given her proved quite useful when you know how to use it so she held onto it and unlike wristwatches- they don't tick as Shinobi have more enhanced senses than civilians through training.

Sakura eyed the phone pondering on whether to send a message to Mirai. She decided not to as she just left and she didn't need to inform her about her placement under Mirko's eyes. Sakura pocketed the phone and went back to studying her environment.

Sakura sees the child again with the eldest with her. Her eyes trailed to their surroundings, noting that they were in some forest with a small cabin behind them.

Sacchan knelt on the forest floor and placed her hands on it. Sakura sees her concentrating on the task, her brow bone collecting sweat. She then felt the energy coming off of the child. It was seeping to the earth like she was feeding it.

"That's it." The eldest's voice made Sakura look at the owner. Now, he had a wide grin on his face as opposed to the usual red eyes that she sees. It felt like he knew something great. Sakura maneuvered chakra to her eyes to see what exactly he sees.

Energy danced from her core to the arm of the child then seeping into the ground before them, mixing with the natural energy of the earth with it. The energy then came back to her core through the other arm. It was cycling energy with the child as the source and the doer.

The child's control was shoddy at best and the fluctuation of energy caused the life on the forest floor to thrive then die and die and thrive over and over again. Sakura's green eyes widened at the sight. It wasn't mokuton, that's for sure as she saw a forest critter approach the fluctuating life then die upon contact.

Sakura then knew what he saw.

A weapon.

Sakura didn't quite like Mirko when she first met her. As she was rather crude with her description of Hawks when she asked for his number through her. Mirko had said that he was a good lay but that he couldn't keep up with her 'fucking like rabbits'.

Aside from that, she is reminded of her teacher with her tactless behavior. But she appreciated it. Mirko worked alone as opposed to working in teams and Sakura respected that. Working in teams didn't work well with others- Sasuke- but her team made it work when it counts.

Sakura found out that her office wasn't quite like Mirai's office. It only had a few offices and desks for the hired help but mostly, it was filled with gym equipment. The Office smelled faintly of aged sweat and fresheners- which Sakura appreciated.

Sakura was then guided to her private section of gym equipment and told her that they weren't quite busy as of now. Meaning that Mirko had a full day of working out with equipment and training her senses.

Mirko pushed her to a barbell, wanting to see if she could deadlift it. It was reported on their file on her that she is strong and the Hero wanted to see that for herself. The Rabbit Hero grinned at her while showing off the standard barbell weighing twenty kilograms. Mirko would add more if she sees that Sakura could take it.

Sakura only stared at Mirko, undecided whether she would lift the thing or not. Mirko sighed before walking towards the equipment and lifting it with her two hands as a demonstration. Sakura figured that Mirko wanted her to do it too and relented.

"Why do I have to do this?" The Shinobi asked the Hero. Mirko hummed and crossed her toned arms together. Mirko's hero costume seemed to tighten even more at the action, which made Sakura look away- not wanting to get caught staring at the other's figure.

She bent down like how Mirko demonstrated and lifted the damn thing. Mirko decided she'll have fun with this watcher task.

\\

The sun shone brightly that day. Little to no traces of clouds littered the sky that day. Today was Mirko's patrol and also an aerobic day, so that meant running.

Sakura ruined and hopped across rooftops, following the Rabbit Hero. Officially, the hero was taking her out on a run. Unofficially, the hero brought her on her random patrol slash exercise- and it also helped keep an eye on her charge. Mirko couldn't stand to do something with her body so she brought Sakura for the haul.

The hero was quite delighted to find out that Sakura knew how to scale buildings and travel via rooftops. Sakura having strengthened limbs from the working out and the aid of chakra helped in following the hero. The following days the two had developed a routine. Working out in the private section and taking a run slash patrol for the hero.

As much as the hero didn't like working in teams, she quite liked spending time with another person just as strong as her or someone that could keep up with her training junkie self. The hero's ears twitched mid-jump from one rooftop to another. She stopped and waited a moment for Sakura to land.

"I hear some ongoing conflict near here." The hero informed Sakura when her charge waited for her statement. It wasn't new as they usually encounter something during their runs. Sakura shrugged in response.

"Stay out of it, okay?"

Again, Sakura shrugged and the hero deemed it enough and leaped to the source. Sakura followed, of course.

Sakura stood on the ledges of the building. The ongoing conflict below her. Mirko confronted the civilians below in a civic way, asking to deal with it by talking but both she and the hero knew that it would be fruitless. When one of the aggressors shifted and the wind passed through them. Mirko and Sakura smelt it

To Mirko, she smelt drugs. To Sakura, she smelt traces of Kai. It wasn't straightly just Kai. The scent shared scents that Kai had aside from the disinfectants she strongly smelled of him. Kai had strangely smelled like labs but didn't think of it then.

Now, she knew that Kai was maybe producing drugs or selling them and this group below her had some of it on them.

One of the men pulled out a gun and shot. Missing Mirko that was directly in front of him as she dodged nimbly out of the bullet's way. The bullet ricocheted and hit Sakura's leg. She winced at the sensation of a needle-piercing skin. She didn't get out in time as she was not used to bullet speeds.

Sakura eyed the fallen bullet and picked it up. The small cylindrical body of the red bullet smelt like chemicals and blood. Her eyes then trailed to the needle on one of its ends.

Sakura heard thumps and handcuffs. Mirko had finished restraining the group. Sakura jumped down to meet the hero when her knees buckled. The hero took notice of course, as it was unlike her charge to get weakened from the jump.

"Fuck. The bullet had something." Sakura finally had the brain to examine herself. She ran her dwindling chakra over the contact point of the needle bullet and to her bloodstream. She could barely find anything different before her chakra flickered out. Alarmed, she tried to manifest her chakra again but could find none.

Mirko noticing something wrong with it called some patrolling police for the thugs and some medical help for her charge. While Sakura fiddled with her pockets, reaching for the phone. Calling someone she thinks has something to do with this.

"Sakura." Mirai picked up at the first ring. Sakura let out a breath.

"Mirai, do bullets normally have needles on them?" Sakura asked and Nighteye replied with a no and had his attention on her "and they smelled faintly like how Kai did." She added.

Sakura heard Mirai inhale sharply. Mirko still stood ways from her, assisting the cops in restraining the thugs that tried to escape still.

"No. I have an idea of what this bullet is. How do you feel?" Mirai asked through the phone. Sakura heard the quieting office noise in the background.

"Are you in a meeting?" She asked, almost wanting to facepalm. She did not hear any response from the hero as he kept quiet. Sakura then heard the voice of the boy from before and Mirio.

"Can you put me on speaker?" Sakura asked. She had an idea of what this meeting was. The timing of the Commission and Agencies transferring her wasn't a coincidence if what she had thought was correct.

Mirai sighed before pressing a button. "You're on speaker, Sakura."

"Kai Chisaki has spread his drugs as far as," Sakura paused, "to wherever Mirko's jurisdiction is."Sakura heard a series of gulps through the speaker and still enhanced hearing. Judging by what she got, the Rabbit Hero's jurisdiction is quite far from Mirai's.

"I- Something I had thought," Sakura said, unsure on how to word it out. "Kai used only one hand to destroy my arm and it's Overhaul. I can guess that he uses the other to fix or improve." Her mind drifted to cycling energy. Sakura felt herself grow cold.

There were no words uttered after that. It was a painful minute of silence.

"That's incredible insight, Sakura. Thank you."

Sakura barely heard the thanks when she walked towards Mirko, who was wrapping up with police matters. She suddenly felt weightless.

Mirko turned around to see her charge fainting. The hero's legs pumped with speed to catch her on time. Mirko eyed the fallen phone and bullet from her charge's hands.

"Sakura?"

\\

Sakura woke up to see her room. The barren walls ceased to be decorated as she grew older. She turned around to see her side table with a picture atop. A silver-haired man with three kids- pink, yellow, and black. She smiled.

Sakura felt a headache coming before sitting up. Her eyes then trailed to the window. The sun hasn't fully risen yet. It meant that she wasn't late for their team training. She sighed in relief then stood up.

A mirror welcomed her vision when she walked towards her door. Pink hair and green eyes. It was the same as ever. She ran her hand through her hair, parting it in the middle

She turned to the closet beside the door and changed her clothes. She immediately raced downstairs to her front door, putting on her sandals.

She was greeted with smiles. Well, smile, closed eye, and a less scowling face. She returned it with her own. Her headache faded.

"Good morning, Sakura-chan!"

"Morning, Sakura-chan!"

"Hn."

Her smile became wider.

"Good morning-" She paused and looked at the boys in front of her. She felt her that tightening up. Her mind went blank as she couldn't put a name on their owners. There was a pounding feeling in the back of her head.

The boys stopped to stare at her. She struggled to breathe for a second.

"What's wrong, Sakura-chan?" The whiskered boy asked. The gravity-defying-haired man stared at her with his lone eye. The other boy, the one with dark coloring and pale skin waited for her response.

"I- I don't know your names." She managed to say to the group. The blond laughed and wiped the tears off his eyes.

"That's a good one, Sakura-chan." The blond said while his laughter ceased as he breathed in more air. The tallest figure ruffled her hair and played along.

"I'm K-." He pointed to himself then to the blond to which he yelled, "N-, believe it!"

The last one placed his hands in his pockets and played along with them. "S-

Sakura woke up with a gasp. Sweat dripped down her temple as she clutched a piece of clothing closer to her. The artificial brightness in the room indicated that it was dark out making it a need to turn the lights on indoors.

"You're finally awake, Sakura."

She looked for the source to see Mirko in casual clothes sitting on the visitor's chair. She felt hot white pain behind her eye, she cursed as she held her head.

On instinct, she gathered chakra to her fingers, coating it with faint green light. She had barely eased the ache before it flickered out. She cursed at her inept chakra control.

"Slow down, bud," Mirko advised. She almost gave out a snort before looking at her watcher, waiting.

"You've been hit by that bullet thing and it seemed to do something more to you than others." The hero informed her then added, "I already sent the bullet to Sir Nighteye's Agency as he is already investigating this matter."

Sakura let out a breath of relief that the bullet wasn't lost. "Good."

"Good? That's all you're worried about?" Mirko asked after she let out that word.

"You just got shot, Sakura. As a hero, I shouldn't have let any civilians come to harm." Mirko pointed out to her to which she just shrugged as she is still alive. Mirko let out a noise of derision at her lack of concern.

"I'm fine. It was just a needle." Sakura let out. She pulled her hair into a messy bun.

"A needle that made you faint afterward and affects stuff to you that we do not know about, yet." Mirko snapped back. The Rabbit Hero then let out a whine, "The Commission's going to shit around my jurisdiction because of this.

That tidbit was noted by Sakura quietly. She picked on her nails as she didn't feel the need to lie down. A piece of hair fell from her messy bun, she stared at it. In the background, she could see her watcher closing her eyes and crossing her hand behind her head.

"When do I get to leave?"

Mirko opened one eye at the other female.

"Let me worry about that and you need to rest." Mirko huffed out and closed her eye again. The two were silent the following hours.

I'm still working on pt 2 of this...

It is quite lengthy compared to other chapters-
