A/N: Hey Friends. A shorter bonus chapter for this week. I'm not sure when I'll be able to write the next part since I have some vacation coming up! Hope you enjoy this one.

Beca and Chloe began to discuss their future together, now that the brunette was also now sporting an engagement ring of her own. The redhead had proposed on bended knee in front of Mari and Bella over dinner three days after Beca's proposal, and Beca had cried joyfully as she accepted.

Then they'd sat down and explained what it all meant to a thoroughly excited Bella, who had immediately asked when Beca was moving in... because of course she did. She wanted her favorite playmate right where she could always get her grabby hands on her.

Not that Beca was complaining in the slightest.

"What are we going to do about your lease here?" Chloe asked as she teased little kisses along her fiancée's neck. They were cuddling on a couch on the balcony outside the master bedroom, sipping on glasses of white wine and happily stargazing.

"Sounds like Bella's not the only one who wants me to move into your house," the brunette grinned.

Chloe pouted playfully. "I hate being apart from you at night. You know that."

"Needy," Beca teased, but she totally got it. She hated being away from Chloe too. The actress had become such an integral part of her life that, even if she hadn't been hopelessly in love with her, she would have still missed her. "But seriously, I only signed for a year, and it'll be up in another three months. I might as well just move into yours and let the lease run out. It would cost me to break it anyway."

"Why don't you check how much it would cost to break it and see what's cheaper?" Chloe mused. "In the meantime, I'll organize a moving truck."

"I have some stuff in storage," Beca said then. "Would it be ok to bring some of it too?"

The redhead smiled. "Of course, Baby. It's your home. I want you to bring whatever you want."

"So... um... have you talked to Mari about my moving in?"

Chloe blinked and pulled back a little. "Why would I...?"

"I know it's your house... but it's her home too," Beca said gently.

The redhead shook her head. "You're right. I'm a terrible daughter."

The brunette chuckled. "That's not what I said, Baby, but I'm sure she'd appreciate being included."

"You're totally right." Chloe pressed her forehead against Beca's shoulder and sighed. "I don't think I've ever been this happy in my life."

"Me neither," Beca chuckled. "Things all just seem to be falling into..."

They both jumped when Chloe's phone rang loudly. She chuckled as she pulled it out of her pocket. "Huh, speak of the devil." She answered the call but moments later, her eyes widened in shock. "What... Mom... I can't understand y... what about Bella?" She sat forward, setting her glass on the low table in front of her. "What do you mean she's gone? Mom, where is she?"

Beca sat forward, setting her glass down too. "Chloe, what's happening?"

"Oh my God..." Chloe's hand was pressed against her chest now, her breathing coming in shallow pants. "Call nine-one-one. I'm on my way."

Beca was on her feet now. "Chlo?"

"Mom and Bella were outside playing in the sandpit before bed and the doorbell rang. Mom went to answer it but there was no one there and when she went back outside, Bella was gone. She can't find her anywhere." They were already in their jackets and heading for the door and Chloe suddenly stopped, her knees giving out. Beca had just enough time to dive forward and catch her. "Oh my God... My baby... Beca... my baby."

"It's going to be ok," Beca replied, hugging her hard. "Let's just get there, ok?"

The drive to the house was tense and silent, and when they arrived, there was already a police car in Chloe's driveway. They ran into the house and Chloe immediately grabbed her mother and hugged her. Then she pulled back to hold her by the shoulders, completely ignoring the cop who was taking notes.

"Ma'am, you are?"

"Bella's mother, Chloe Beale," Beca said quickly. "And I'm Beca Mitchell, Chloe's fiancée."

"Mom, what happened? Tell me everything!" Chloe said.

"I... I left her outside for two minutes while I went to answer the door and she was gone when I got back... just gone... Chloe, I'm sorry... I... I don't..."

"Sshhh, it's ok," the redhead said, hugging her again. Then she looked at the cop, strangely calm. "We need to put out an amber alert, right?"

The officer looked back at her dubiously for a moment. "Ma'am... we need to try to figure out what happened first. Do you have any cameras here?"

"No," Chloe shook her head. "I don't have any surveillance. I've been here six years and never needed it."

"Ok," he nodded. "I'm going to interview the neighbors... see if they have cameras or if anyone saw anything. In the meantime, there'll be detectives here soon. We're going to move on this as quickly as we can."

"Thank you," the redhead replied.

The officer headed out and Chloe walked to the patio door, gazing out over the pool. "I need to do something," she said then. "I'm going to look for her."

"I'll go with you," Beca added immediately. "Mari, can you please stay here and wait for the detectives. Give us a call when they arrive."

"Of course," the older woman nodded.

"Let's start with the beach," Chloe said heading out. The gate to the beach walkway was latched and she knew it was higher than Bella could reach but she opened it anyway and jogged down the planking, the brunette right on her heels. "I'll go right, you go left," she said.

"Ok," Beca agreed and turned left to jog away, calling the little girl's name. Behind her, she could hear Chloe doing the same.

The redhead ran along the sand, tears streaming down her face as she called her child's name, but she skidded to a stop as she saw something in the sand and pulled out her phone to use its flashlight. "BECA! BECA!" she screamed.

The brunette immediately changed direction and sprinted toward her fiancée. "What?! What is it?!"

Chloe pointed and Beca drew in a breath as she saw the small pink sneaker nestled into a patch of grass. "It's hers," the actress breathed as she dropped to her knees and reached out.

"Don't touch it, Chlo," Beca said quickly. "It's evidence."

"Oh... right..." Chloe nodded. "Shit."

"Stay here," the brunette said. "I'm going back to the house. I'll bring the detectives to you when they arrive."

The actress just sat in the sand, eyes trained on her child's shoe as she waited, her heart in her mouth and stomach churning. She knew deep down that someone had taken Bella. The latch on the gate... someone had come into their home and taken her child. Suddenly, everything came crashing down and she screamed, collapsing onto her side and sobbing her heart out.

Xx

The entire beach had been combed but nothing else had been found. Chloe hadn't eaten or slept and had stayed huddled in her mother's arms on the couch as the house bustled with activity. Beca was pacing restlessly, chewing on her nails. After the shoe had been found, the case had been officially proclaimed a kidnapping and the FBI had been called in to take over.

"Excuse me, both Miss Beales?"

Blue eyes lifted. "Agent Michaels, is there..."

"I'm afraid not, I'm sorry, but we did finish looking through the footage from your neighbor's camera. I need you and your mother to look at something."

"Anything," the redhead replied, getting up immediately to follow the agent to her laptop, sitting on the dining room table. Beca joined her and Mari, and Chloe laced their fingers together pulling her closer.

"Do you recognize this car?" Michaels asked. "It's been parked on the street every day for weeks."

Chloe leaned in closer to look at the grainy image. "No... I... I don't think so."

"No, me neither," Mari added, as she adjusted her glasses on her nose.

"How about you, Miss Mitchell?" the agent prompted, pushing her dark hair back from her eyes.

"No," Beca replied. "I don't think so either."

Michaels clicked to another image. "What about this man?"

Chloe and Mari shook their heads, but Beca leaned in closer. "Wait..."

"What is it, Becs?" the redhead prompted as she looked back at the image. The man was dressed in a black hoody and was wearing a ballcap but, as she looked closer, she began to see something familiar about him. The square of his jaw maybe.

Then suddenly, Beca's hand shot out to grab her arm. "Chloe, is that...?"

"Armie," the redhead breathed, suddenly short of breath. "Oh my God. Beca, is it?"

"I'm not... sure," the brunette replied, voice shaking. "But it does look a little like him. Are there any other pictures, Agent?"

The woman scrolled through more images until she came upon one more of the man. "What about this one?"

Chloe and Beca got close to the screen and both nodded. Then Chloe's knees gave out and she dropped to the floor onto them. "Oh my God," she said again. "That... that MAN has my child."

"Who is he?" Michaels asked, pulling out her phone.

"His name is Armando Ginko. He was my co-star on a movie I did about eight months ago, but he was fired for..." She glanced at Beca and swallowed. "He was fired for trying to rape me."

Beca's gasp filled the room, and she took a few steps back. "He... he... what?"

"I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to get hurt confronting him, Baby. He had me pinned against the wall of the studio with his hand..." She swallowed. "His hand down my pants. Jesse arrived just in time and stopped him from going any further."

Michaels sighed, shaking her head while Beca just stared at her fiancée, dumbstruck. "Do you think this is some sort of revenge kidnapping?"

"It makes sense, right?" Chloe said, wrapping her arms around herself as she trembled.

"I'm going to fucking kill him," Beca growled suddenly. "I'm going to stab his dick off and feed it to him. I'm going to cut out his intestines and make curtains out of them for the living room. I'm going to..."

Agent Michaels was already on the phone, calling in a request for arrest and search warrants.

"Becs, hey..." Chloe said then, going to her and taking her hands. "You can't, Baby. I know you want to, I do too, but we have to let the FBI do their jobs."

Stormy dark blue eyes lifted. "You should have told me, Chloe," the brunette stated and then turned away. She walked into the bedroom and slammed the door behind her.

"Fuck," Chloe sighed, rubbing between her eyebrows. "FUCK!"

"She loves you so much, Chloe," Mari said, coming up behind her daughter to rub her back. "That was a lot to hear on top of Bella being missing. Just give her some space to process."

But the actress shook her head, tears creeping down her cheeks. "She's right. I should have told her, Mom. I fucked up."

It took a few minutes, but Beca finally came back into the living room to sit next to Chloe and Mari on the couch. She didn't say anything but, when Chloe rested her head on her shoulder, she didn't push her away. Instead, she just took her hand and laced their fingers together.

Several tense minutes later, Michaels came back and sat on the coffee table facing them, opening the buttons of her jacket and leaning her forearms on her thighs. "We raided Ginko's home. He wasn't there and neither was Bella." Chloe gasped and started crying again. Beca wrapped her arm around her shoulders and pulled her close, kissing her temple. "But we have a BOLO and Amber Alert out with the details of his car. Someone will see them and call it in."

"It's been hours," the redhead whispered. "They could be anywhere."

The agent nodded. "I know... but we'll find them Chloe. And he might make a ransom call. We just have to wait and see." She patted Chloe's knee. "Why don't you guys try to get some sleep? It's almost four am."

"She's right, Chlo," the brunette said gently. "We should try to get some rest. You don't want Bella seeing you exhausted when she gets home, right?"

"I'll stay up... in case there's news," Mari said quietly. "I'll come straight in and get you."

"Ok," the actress replied, rubbing her nose and taking a deep breath to calm down. "But just a couple of hours." She hugged her mother and then let Beca guide her down the hallway to their bedroom. They didn't even bother getting undressed, they just lay on the bed together, holding each other so close, not even an atom could fit between them.

"They'll find her, Chlo," Beca whispered. "And we'll make that bastard pay."

Chloe nodded. "If you kill him, I'll help you bury the body," she said, tone deadly serious.

The brunette just held her even tighter. "Good."

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you."

Beca swallowed. "I know. It's ok."

"It's not ok. I promise I'll never keep anything from you again, Love," the redhead pressed. "I absolutely promise."

Her fiancée closed her eyes and let herself relax. "Ok."

Chloe's phone ringing woke them a few hours later and she was up and in the living room before Beca could even pull the covers back. Michaels was holding the device and she offered it to the redhead.

"Unknown number. Remember," she said. "Put it on speaker so we can hear what's going on. If it's him, I want to make sure we're ready for it."

The redhead nodded and took the phone, answering it and putting it right on speaker. "Hello?" There was quiet for a moment and everyone in the room held their breath. "Hello? This is Chloe."

"She's a sweet little thing, Elektra. Looks just like you."

Beca squeezed her hands into fists and her jaw clenched as she recognized the voice and nodded at Michaels.

"Please, Armie," Chloe said. "Please... just bring her back to me. I'll give you whatever you want. I'll DO whatever you want."

"But I don't WANT to bring her back, Elektra. We're having so much fun."

The redhead closed her eyes as she shook uncontrollably. "Please, Armie... what is it you want? Money?"

The man laughed and Chloe scowled deeply. "One million dollars is what I want."

"Ok," the actress replied immediately. "Where, when?"

"This afternoon. I'll text you the location. And if I see even a glimpse of the cops... I'll kill her."

"Ok, but... can I talk to her Armie? Please?"

There was quiet for a moment but then Chloe was dropping onto the couch with her hand pressed to her mouth. "Hi, Mommy!"

"Hi, Baby Girl," the actress choked out. "Are you ok?"

"Yes, Mommy. Armie and I are having fun playing. When are you coming to get m...?"

"That enough," Armie said, obviously taking the phone from the child. "She's fine and she'll stay fine, as long as you do as I say."

"I will, just don't hurt her, please!" Chloe exclaimed. "I'll be ready with the money."

"Stay by the phone," the kidnapper purred. "And when you come, Elektra, come naked under your coat."

He hung up then and Chloe pulled the phone away from her ear to glare at it. "Did he just say...?" she began incredulously.

Michaels was writing in her notebook, but she looked up and narrowed her eyes. "Why did he keep calling you Elektra?" she asked.

"That was my past," Chloe explained. "I used to be an adult movie actress. Elektra King was my stage name. He's obsessed with her... me."

"I see," the agent nodded. "So... do you have the money available? We're going to take him down, but we need to let him take the money and give Bella back before we do."

"So, what's the plan?" Beca asked then. "We just wait for him to call and head to the exchange?"

But Agent Michaels shook her head. "No, unfortunately we can't risk Bella being hurt. You heard what he said about no police. Chloe, we're going to have to have you wear a wire so we can listen in from a short distance away."

"But he said to come naked," the redhead pointed out. "He'll find a wire."

"Not this one," Michaels smiled. "We'll place a pinhole camera and mic in the buttons of your coat. He'll never see it."

"I don't like this," Beca stated unhappily. "What if he pulls a gun on her or something? We'll be too far away."

"It doesn't matter," Chloe replied firmly. "I can take care of myself. You guys just need to get Bella to safety."

"Chloe..." the brunette began to argue.

"THIS. IS. MY. CHILD!" Chloe's voice lifted and the entire room fell silent. "And I will do whatever it takes to keep her safe."

"CHLOE!" The redhead turned to find Dylan at the door, suitcase in hand and looking like he hadn't slept in days. She ran into his arms and hugged him so hard; all the air was pushed out of him. "I got back as quickly as I could."

"She's alive," the actress said calmly. "I just got to speak to her for a minute. The kidnapper wants a million dollars to return her."

"Not a problem," Bella's dad stated firmly. "When does he want it?"

"This afternoon. He wants me to bring it to him." She explained the overview to Dylan, and he looked just about as happy about it as Beca did. But they both understood that Chloe had to do this, and both offered their full support.

"Ok, then," Agent Michaels said. "Let's work out the details."

An hour later, Dylan was headed for the bank with the agent in tow.
