His head hung low in thought. His mind racing too many possibilities; a mile in a minute. He didn't know what those eyes had meant. Sweat beaded on his temple as he thought of it more. His dark green hair bounced with each of his mindless steps.
He knew that his dream was different from before, changing along with his progress on his quirk. He sees the pair of green eyes again. Bright and dull; the color-contrasting what it showed. The color, a familiar shade of green, like he had seen it before but didn't know who it belonged to.
His eyes caught sight of a prop. It was weirdly shaped and seemed incomplete; a misshapen heart if you could describe it as that.
"Senpai!" The word left his lips immediately, calling the blonde in civilian clothes to him.
Izuku remembered that Mirio had his quirk indisposed at the moment due to the bullet that had hit him during the raid. He is currently taking time off from Hero duties and school because of it. As for why he is in school, must've been for other private matters regarding the aftermaths of it.
The blonde waved at him before jogging over. Izuku met him halfway at his own pace. The image of green eyes took a backseat in his mind. He could discuss it over with his mentor after.
\\
Sakura paced in her room. Her muscles ached from inactivity and the repeated pacing. She wasn't locked in her room like a prisoner but she found it unappealing to leave with a constant add-on.
But she couldn't afford to be idle.
She stopped her pacing and dropped to the empty bed. Her legs folded into a familiar position that she had done before. Her mind was clear for the first time in what felt like a long time, her emotions wiped clean. No worries painting her forefront of her mind.
She inhaled. Her lungs filled with stale air then breathed out. Her shoulders slumping and she slipped.
She sees a field of green. Grass-covered plains that spanned as far as the eyes can see.
Sakura sees nothing to do in the empty plains, so she walked.
And walked.
And walked.
Sakura notices the light getting stronger and brighter even when there is no present light source. Her eyes involuntarily squinted from the sudden brightness. She sees the horizon move in waves in front of her. A mirage forming under the unexplainable heat. She felt a bead of sweat form on her brow bone, she wiped it off.
She must've seen wrong when she saw the mirage forming into a shape. Or maybe it was the heat getting to her. She wiped off another trail of sweat.
The shape slowly gained color and immediately recognized the shape it took on. A body.
Curious, she walked towards it.
It didn't seem that she was getting closer or farther as the image didn't shrink or enlarge. Exhaling in growing frustration she turned around.
"Boo."
Sakura did something she hadn't done since coming here. She screamed.
Hand on her chest, clutching on the fabric of her clothes. Sweat dripped down her temple.
She glared at the only other person in the area. Pale pink hair invaded her vision and her brows shot up. Instantly recognizing the figure that surprised her. Her eyes then drifted to her forehead.
"Inner,"
"Not exactly, Outer" Sakura's brow rose in question.
"I'm you. I'm Sakura."
\\
"Let me get this straight," Bony hands were wide open in front of him. He stared back at his own, his were closed and placed on his thighs. All Might moved his hands again, trying to understand what he had said to the former hero.
"You saw green eyes staring at you in the dream and you have a feeling it was Sakura's?" His bony structure leaned forward towards the table and his hands now laced together, acting as support right under his mentor's chin.
"Hai," Izuku nodded, confirming what he had said to the other.
"Sakura with the pale hair that was in Kamino?"
Izuku nodded.
"I'll see what I can do, young Midoriya."
\\
A small version of Sakura, Sacchan, stood next to her. The child with her wore a face she hadn't seen before. It wasn't innocent like most children had. It certainly wasn't naive either.
Sacchan had a grin exuded that she knows things. She held an air of slight maliciousness that she didn't know was possible for her age. Sakura's nose scrunched up in thought.
"You're weak."
She turned to glare at the other female. Her eyes sharpened at the slight aimed at her. Sakura scoffed.
"I'm not. I had finally stood by my teammates before all these happened."
The child laughed. It sounded like chimes but it felt like church bells ringing eerily. A chill went up to her spine. She took a step back from the figure. Her legs shifted into a stance that could move easily at a moment's notice.
Sacchan tilted her head in a direction.
"Come,"
\\
Sakura sees Sacchan turning life into death. Sakura sees her turning the dead to life.
Sakura sees a battlefield with dead shinobi. Dark-haired with red eyes and forests that come to life.
Sakura sees Sacchan's scope expands. From being able to do just within her arm's reach to yards around her. Sakura sees a figure encouraging her.
Sakura sees a boy filled with envy at his friend receiving the teacher's position.
Sakura sees Sacchan with a doctor. Sakura sees her giving life to a mismatched body. Sakura sees her pausing a city's life for a second.
Sakura sees a boy dying at the hands of his friend. Sakura sees a girl being held against her own will, a man with ties to an amphibian.
Sakura sees Sacchan seeing her brother's death. They see the figure, a being with power doing nothing.
Sakura hated what she saw.
Sacchan whispers.
\\
Sakura stood by the door of her room. She eyed the two men in front of her. She remembered seeing them when she woke up within the hospital walls.
Her eyes strayed to Hawks, her current watcher since he was in the area. Her brows rose in question at the presence of the two. Hawks didn't get to answer as the rugged man spoke first.
"I'm here to formally invite you to UA's cultural festival."
"Formally?" Sakura asked in clarification.
"Informally, someone requested your presence," Eraserhead added.
Sakura moved to see them better. The detective, she recalled, stepped forward and spoke.
"And I am to escort you to the school's premises." Sakura smiled. She had an idea where this was going. She wetted her lips inwardly.
"I have no room to refuse, yes?"
Nobody spoke. Their eyes already answering her unneeded question. Eraserhead stared at her unblinkingly.
"When?"
\\
Sakura sees the child again. Sacchan sat under a dying tree. There was no shade to protect her from the harsh light but seemed to revel in the presence of the tree, despite the thriving forest around them.
Sakura hears her humming.
"You're weak." The child said for what seemed to be the nth time. Sakura rolled her eyes, not wanting to pointlessly argue with her. Sakura sat down beside her.
"Pray do tell, when I'll not be weak to you." Her curiosity and her humoring the child won.
Sacchan smiled not so innocently and placed her hands to the earth.
"When you can top this."
At once, the forest around them stopped thriving.
\\
Sakura sees color around her. Stalls of different kinds greeted her when she stepped inside the walls of the school. The grounds were kept clean of litter and the cheers of students filled the air.
Her eyes found the back of the detective again. She followed.
Some students that noticed them parted from their path. She hears whispers of some recognizing her. She hears them gushing and cheering. She hears some of them scoffing. She brushed them off and moved a little closer to her escort.
She didn't like the unwanted attention at the moment. As it might hinder her movements. She felt like a beacon in the dark with all the stares. Her face showed nothing then.
The unfamiliar structures that loomed over her made her feel small. If she was given a choice, she wouldn't choose to come here. She had nothing to do at this point. She had no leads except for the arrested villain that addressed her as soon as she came to. She had no one that could help her- Mirai died, and Hawks couldn't help her with the commission's eyes on her, and she had no connection to Mirko.
The only place she could escape from the monitoring eyes would be the bare room that she was staying in. The room wasn't even that secure in the first place, being in the Commission's grounds and all.
She also wanted to get out of that bare four corners. Sakura didn't want to stay alone with her thoughts. She didn't trust the visions she saw- even if they were somehow useful to her.
Concerning that, she now had an idea of who was this body. Sacchan was the previous holder, she guessed her name was Sakura as she was addressed that by that villain. They had the same name but different personalities, it made her feel like a body snatcher- like Orochimaru.
The visions or maybe memories were the girl. Her history was something Sakura didn't want to dabble on. She already had a goal in mind and it is Konoha.
You want to go back, don't you?
She bit on the inside of her cheek.
\\
Sakura stared at the bony figure in front of her. His sunken eyes had shadows in them but it made his blue eyes brighter. His blonde hair was swept backward messily and fringes hung messily over his bony cheekbones. She knows the man in front of her even when he was extremely different from what he was supposed to look like. She sent out a stream of chakra to him and feeling none of the energy she felt before, she figured that this form is now permanent.
Sakura crossed her ankle over the other slightly. Her back straight and her hair in place, her lips parted to ask.
"May I ask why am I here, Hero-san?" Her voice broke the silence in the office. They were both alone, given privacy by the principal himself. Sakura thought of the insane, as most intellectual individuals are, a chimera.
A bit startled from his musings, his eyes finally focused on her. She noted his slightly tensed shoulders and knows that this meeting would be mentally taxing.
"It's Toshinori Yagi now," Sakura noticed his slight pause, "Sakura-san." Her brows furrowed slightly.
"So you know my name, Toshinori-san?" Her eyes focused on him, aware of any shift he will make.
"Yes, The Commission provided it to me." Her lips twitched. She wondered what else The Commission found out about her and what they told others. Her eyes trailed to the coffee table between them, feigning a lack of interest.
She hears a slight ruffle of clothes, telling her that her host had moved in his seat. Her fingers played with her nails, waiting.
"What do you think about heroes, Sakura-san?" The question wasn't that farfetched for a conversation starter and it seemed like the closest topic they could talk about before the main thing. She certainly wouldn't be talking to him about favorite food and colors anytime soon.
Sakura stretched her fingers, stalling, finding appropriate words that wouldn't sound offensive and biased that much. The shine on her finger reflected the room's light to her. The slight shadows formed from the passing birds crossing the office windows. Discreetly, she sent chakra to the tips. Not quite make it glow blue or the healing green but it was there. Her thumb stuck to her middle, she flicked it without chakra, slight shifts in the air occurred.
"I don't know about heroes that much, Toshinori-san." She flicked her finger again, this time with a tiny amount of chakra. Blond hair swayed and she added, "and that I only know two who were remarkable."
Her throat dried at the thought of them.
Toshinori shifted slightly to his right when another breeze seemed to pass through his hair. His eyes slightly narrowed in on her fingers. Sakura halted her flicking midway.
Hearing nothing else from the hero she proceeded to ask.
"What do you know about me, Toshinori-san?" Sakura knew he won't reveal anything about what he found out but it didn't hurt to ask.
"Just your name." Sakura saw the slight shift of his eyes to her forehead, clearly looking away. Sakura smiled. She thought of dancing around the topic but found it a waste of time. She could spend her time figuring out how to do the pulse.
She found the name fitting to what the girl did- the way life bloomed and stillness occurring in a touch. Not quite the medical jutsu she knows but it was similar.
Chakra used to bring life and end. The energy that controls the span of the living and the dead.
Her lips pursed then her brows slightly furrowed.
Could she apply her own to it? The two were similar in concepts and the possibilities were endless if they were possible.
Sakura's trained eyes snapped back to attention. She could brainstorm later.
"We both know you know more than that, Toshinori-san." She gestured to the two of them with her finger. Her ear picked up the hero barely swallowing. Her stare softened from her questioning-slash-accusatory look on the hero.
To her surprise, the hero responded to her with a blinding grin. His blinding white teeth seemed to shine and his blue eyes glittered like the sea as if a switch was flicked.
Her slight shock was visible to the hero that had him proceed to what he should do way before.
"I, thank you, for your assistance, Sakura-san. Because of your healing, I was able to hold out long enough to arrest All for One." Her ears perked up at the villain's name. The former hero continued.
"I've been looking for this particular villain for years now. Now, I can focus on guiding the young ones full-time."
Sakura smiled politely.
Well, that's nice but she isn't here for any of that.
"I gave the oath to heal the needy, Toshinori-San. It was my duty to do so as a healer." Sakura wetted her top lips inwardly. She repositioned her legs, ready to move at a moment's notice. She caught the hero's eyes on her obvious change in direction.
"But I must ask again, Yagi-san," Her eyes were narrowing on the other. Now, sharper than before. Sakura noticed the startled response to her changing her way of addressing him.
"What,"
Her finger tapped after the word.
"Do you,"
Another tap.
"Know,"
She hears him halting his breath. Her eyes were unwavering when she quietened her breathing even more. Her chest and shoulders barely moving.
"Yagi-san."
The words that left his lips made her deductions, all the more clearer.
Sakura Shigaraki

Hey, hey! Happy New Year to everyone who reads this.
I'm very sorry about not updating sooner.
Was busy during the holidays and got caught up in stuff.
Anyways, that's enough excuses.
I dreamt about my 8-year-old self dreaming again. It was some clairvoyant-death type of thing going on and it still weirds me out that I still remember it vividly.
Also, my brain keeps spewing out these plot bunnies and maybe I'll post a Narutoverse one-shot that is inspired by multiverses of the MCU.
Ciao,
