"Russel Thrush. Cardin Winchester. Dove Bronzewing. Sky Lark." Ozpin's voice rang throughout the hall. "The four of you retrieved the black bishop pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team CRDL. Lead by Cardin Winchester." Applause rang out for the newly minted Team CRDL as they left the stage.

"Jaune Arc. Lie Ren. Pyrrha Nikos. Nora Valkyrie. The four of you retrieved the white rook pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team JNPR. Lead by Jaune Arc." Jaune seemed confused as Pyrrha grinned, giving him a playful punch to the shoulder. The punch was just a little bit too hard, because it sent Jaune sprawling, causing laughter to erupt from the audience. She gave him a nervous and apologetic smile. Pyrrha helped her team leader up as the four of them exited the stage.

"And finally, Blake Belladonna. Ruby Rose. Weiss Schnee. And Yang Xiao Long. The four of you retrieved the white knight pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team RWBY. Lead by Ruby Rose." The last round of applause was given, as Ruby was hugged by her older sister.

"I'm so proud of you!" Yang congratulated her. People quickly started to file out of the hall, and so were Team RWBY and JNPR when the rose reaper's best friend walked up to the headmaster.

"So… did I pass initiation?" The faunus asked the white haired headmaster.

"You most certainly did. All pairs you encountered have survived and passed, while you resisted the urge to go and find-"

"WAIT! WHAT?" Ruby yelled out at the mistake in confusion and pushed her sister away. "Professor Ozpin! Wynion didn't even graduate combat school!"

The man adjusted his glasses, "Ms. Rose, I would like to remind you that you haven't either, and while he may not have graduated combat school, he does have three years of being a student at Signal-"

"NO HE DOESN'T! He must have gotten faked transcripts! PLEASE, IT'S NOT SAFE FOR HIM-"

"-If you would let me finish, he has three years of being a student at Signal, plus a face to face personal recommendation from his main teacher, Qrow Branwen." The headmaster gave her that tone that people would give her whenever they treated her like a little child. "If that is all, your dorm room numbers have been sent to your scrolls, along with the corresponding key to open it."

Ruby stormed off from the stupid headmaster, leaving behind the remaining teams, the uncomfortable faunus, and the idiot in charge of the school.

"Did you have to be so…?" Wynion searched for the right word to use for the headmaster in Ms. Goodwitch's presence.

"This problem would probably be best handled as soon as possible. It would be counterproductive for all involved if this issue was simply swept under the rug." Ozpin took a sip from his mug. Did Yang see Wynion's ears twitch?

Team JNPR had already left the hall, alongside Weiss and Blake. Only Wynion, Ozpin, Ms. Goodwitch, and Yang remained. Her curiosity had grown to boundless proportions, and she was determined to get her answers.

Starting with why he made Ruby so upset.

"Wynion, I believe that you should easily find your room number and access key to your dormitory. If not, please contact myself or any one of Beacon's staff, as they should be happy to assist you. I hope both of you find the rest of your day pleasant." Ozpin said his goodbyes, and left with Ms. Goodwitch, leaving the blonde and the silverhead alone.

The faunus turned to leave as well, but Yang needed to have a little chat.

She might as well do it in a nice, empty space if she happened to get violent.

"So… You trained with Qrow Branwen, eh…? How was he like?"

"Drunk. Very drunk. But very fun, if he wasn't actively teaching you. If he really was trying to teach you, then you could see why alcohol is a controlled substance." Wynion had a tiny, but noticeable smile.

"Heh, so you really have trained with him at Signal." Yang chuckled at the description of the drunksman.

"Not… Exactly…" The hooded kid trailed off, "I didn't train at Signal, Ozpin made that up. I've spent a little more than over a year practicing to be a huntsman in total."

"What?"

"The truth is, I'm here because of my semblance." Wynion admitted.

"I see… Well, what is it?" Yang asked.

"I can steal almost anything, and when I say almost anything, I mean, almost anything. I can steal physical objects, aura, dust effects, grimm… Well, I'm still figuring that last one out, but I can steal something from them."

Yang raised an eyebrow, "That's… a lot. Even semblances?"

He hesitated, then lowered his voice, "Temporarily, if I have the necessary time and concentration. But it always seems to slip back to the owner."

"And I'm guessing Rubes doesn't know about your semblance. That's why she freaked out, yes?" He nodded his head, "We'll fix that soon…" Yang grinned, "I suddenly don't think I'm going to punch you anymore, so let's get out of here and talk."

"Wait, what?" She dragged him towards the door and into the afternoon light.

"So then, why exactly is my sister so concerned with you being here?" Yang asked the said sister's boyfriend teasingly.

"I just told you-"

"Yes, you told me why you are here," Yang flashed him another smirk, "Not why my adorable sister got so worked up over you."

Huh, his ears did that thing again.

Wynion tested Yang's grip, and made the correct decision not to try further and go for a stupid escape. "We've been best friends for around three or so years now…"

"Huh, really? That would be almost ever since she was allowed to go to Vale by herself, when she got accepted into Signal… WAIT A MINUTE!" She halted to a right next to the fountain. "YOU'RE RUBY'S MYSTERIOUS FRIEND! OH MY GOD! HOW LONG HAVE YOU TWO BEEN DATING?"

"Mysterious…? Wait, dating?" He seemed confused.

"Don't be so scared now that the jig is up, I care about my sister, but I won't hurt you." Yang leaned forward threateningly, "Unless you knock her up. Or hurt her. Or you-"

"Hold the fuck up, wait… We aren't dating."

"What the hell do you call that little moment during initiation between the two of you then, huh Wynnie?" She reached over to pet his ears.

"Don't you fucking dare touch those things." Yang's hand froze at the venom in his voice.

"Uh, sorry… Didn't know you were protective of your ears." Yang let go of him, taking a step back sheepishly.

Wynion relaxed, "I'm not, it's just that only Ruby gets to do that. We have a de-"

"Are ya suuure you two aren't dating?" Yang recovered from his deathly gaze, "'Cause, you two seem like such a couple!"

Awwe… His ears twitch when he's annoyed…

"I'm sure. See you la-"

"Before you go," Yang stopped him, "make sure you explain to Ruby why you're here. She really seems to care for you, so don't fuck it up over something so small or I will hurt you."

The faunus in the hoodie gave her a smirk, "You don't need to threaten me over that one."

The first week is gonna be dedicated to settling in and building relationships. At most, it'll take five chapters (Probably two or three in actuality though).

Awwwe... Ruby is concerned. Oh yeah, the arc of Wynion's character that I have been talking about FOREVER? It's just about here. Ruby's talking isn't going to make Jaune any more comfy either.

The conversation with Yang went on for longer than I thought. Things always seem to go on longer in reality than in my mind.

I think I'm gonna try and go back to work in Wynion's little twitch more, as I have just realized through Yang how both entertaining it can be, and how it conveys the dude's thoughts better when in other POV's.

While I am fairly sure y'all don't really care about the sessions Wynion and Ozpin have, I am going to update this chapter later with one of them.
