"I have been having these strange dreams lately…."
"Of what exactly?"
Luz is barely holding the portal machine together while still avoiding the debris coming from all over the Titan's head. All but Amity remain questioning Luz's actions.
"Luz, what are you doing?!"
"I-I have to get Eda! We'll find a way back to you! Go! Go, go, go! I can't hold the portal for much longer!" While Luz explains to Amity, The Collector notices King tagging along to their daring escape to the human realm. He pulls King into their grasp. "King!" Luz shouts as tears begin to drop.
"King! You promise you'll play with me! You pinky swore!" The Collector calls out to King. Pulling him harder, causing Luz to start losing her grip to hold the portal together. Amity runs to Luz in an attempt to aid her, but while she rushes, both Luz and King start to have their last moments together.
"We gotta stick together…. We gotta stick together!" Luz repeats to herself to motivate her body to use all of her strength to hold the portal while trying to pull King back.
"I'm sorry….Not this time. But I can keep you safe." King said. Luz released the waterworks in response as she said no. "Luz, I'm so happy I had you as a big sister…." King then takes a deep breath, letting out a powerful beam of his scream, pushing everyone into the portal door.
"And that's how my dream ends…."
Somewhere in Latissa located in the Titan's armpits, the CATs held their first meeting over the discussion of a strange dream that the oldest Blight had. Everyone in the group feels a sense of deja vu once her explanation is done.
"Strange. When did you have this dream?" Eda asked.
"Days before the attack on Hexside. Since then though, I've been feeling weird, like nothing that's happening is correct. And at any moment, everything we know and love will cease to exist…." Emira explained, drinking a mug of Boiling Isles equivalent to hot chocolate.
"Eda, why are we having a meeting about this?" Luz asked, confused at everyone's concern and uneasiness.
"These are the effects of the Bloody Fly Effect. If something was changed while traveling through time, people begin to have vivid dreams of what was supposed to happen. Afterward, they start to sense that something is wrong, and a feeling of deja vu." Eda explained, looking at her sister and then Luz's reactions.
"Did we do this?..." Luz bites her lips. She quivered at the thought of her journey through time that had disturbed the peace of her universe.
"Unfortunately, it isn't the realm of possibility," Lilith said, saddened at the thought of possibly worsening her future.
"Well, this- This changes everything," Raine said, looking at Darius to see if he had a plan B.
"It was knowing you folks, except you Alador. Don't know how you managed to convince your wife to bring her kids here despite working for the emperor." Darius said, throwing back his feet as he sat down.
"For your information, I brought them here out of my volition to help you rebels and warn you of your impending doom!" Alador attempts to correct Darius to no avail.
Soon the room is full of arguments and talks of concern for their future, trying to figure out a new plan. However, Luz and the young Blights remain slight, terrifying of what's to come next.
"What now?" Luz asks. Amity ponders for a moment, looking at Emira and then Edric for an answer. They both look down to the ground, equally as scared as everyone else.
"I don't know, Luz. I don't know." Amity whimpers at the insanity of the situation before everyone stops at Raine yelling.
"EVERYONE STOP NOW! None of this arguing will help us achieve anything!" Raine yelled at the top of their lungs, having all arguments stopped immediately. "Look, there's a lot of uncertainty about our futures right now, but standing around won't fix anything. If we want to guarantee the safety of our future, we need to act now."
"Then what's the plan? How are we going to face the entire coven alongside Belos?" Hunter asks. Raine, for a moment, ponders before thinking of a possible solution.
"What if we destroy the architecture where the Day of Unity takes place?! It may not stop it, but it will buy us enough time to form another plan. However, first, we need to do something about those Abomatons if we want to get anywhere near where the Day of Unity is taking place. Alador, is there a way to gain control of at least a decent amount of them?"
"I could program the last batch of Abomatons to follow my will before the Emperor's Coven could pick them up."
"Great, now the next problem is getting uniforms to fit in."
"Actually, I perfectly remembered each of the coven scout's break schedules. We just gotta take them out at the right time." Hunter explained, writing down each scout's break-time on a board.
"Good, now where are we going to get ourselves some bombs?"
"DID SOMEBODY SAY BOMBS?!" Edric shouted, already having a prototype of a bomb that he was working on.
"Woah! Woah! Put that away and make more! Just make sure you don't get yourself killed when making them please!"
"Already ahead of you!" Edric said, literally making a bomb out of the stuff inside the building.
"Ok…so now we need to think of a good location to place those bombs, or at least a good spell to hide them."
"I think I know a spot. Remember how I mapped out the entire sewage system?"
"Yeah?"
"Turns out there's a pipeline that's directly underneath where the Day of Unity is taking place. If that Blight boy can make his bombs have enough kilotons to have the ground collapse, we're set!"
"Already on it Mx. Whispers! I'm a professional at making shit explode!" Edric surprisedly made the bomb bigger without no one noticing, concerning everyone in the room.
"Good…now all we need is some ships to enter and escape from the Day of Unity."
"Eda and I got this! We can rob anything without risking our lives!" Luz immediately volunteers herself and Eda.
As Raine talked about the plan, a montage of everyone doing their part played. With Aladar secretly recoding the few Abomatons left to be shipped, Darius and Eberwolf hunting down coven scouts for their uniform, Luz and Eda robbing one ship after the other, and finally, Edric testing out his bombs and then planning out where to place them with Katya.
—
The Day of Unity has arrived, with everyone hidden in uniform. Despite this, the Blights are barely making it to the Day of Unity with the last batch of Abomatons. It was tense for Alador and the kids, as Odalia hadn't spoken a single word to either of them since flying the ship. That was before Odalia asked Alador about something she had been pondering about.
"Alador, do you have an explanation as to where most of the parts used for the canons have gone?" Odalia asked, not looking at him. Alador struggled to come up with a convincing explanation and decided to try to play it safe.
"I-I haven't noticed anything in my possession had gone missing." Alador stuttered out, rising Odalia's suspension. Didn't help matters when she asked about the next thing she noticed.
"Edric, I noticed you've been coming home late leading up to the Day of Unity."
"R-Right. I was just out for uh….a date!"
"Another one? Just before the Day of Unity? With who?"
"Uh…Kat…?"
"Hm." Odalia acknowledges before going back to being quiet. The conversation unnerved everyone, thinking they were a second away from being caught. Although the conversation may be over, it felt like there may be more to come from Odalia's suspensions.
They finally arrived at the Day of Unity, landing their ship where Kikimora waited for them. She sips on her coffee mug with a clipboard on hand to list off the remaining Abomatons.
"Finally. I was getting tired of waiting." Kikimora yawned, checking out the Abomatons before taking them alongside the others.
"Hold on, Kiki. I think my gloriest husband has something to present to you." Odalia said, leaving the others confused.
"W-Whatever do you mean?" Alador nervously chuckled, trying to play along with whatever Odalia was trying to do.
"Why the modifications you made last minute," Odalia said, ordering one of the Abomatons to get close. "Abomaton, ready the cannon."
"Odalia-"
"What's wrong? I'm just seeing if it follows orders." Odalia smirks devilishly, causing Kikimora to stand back, and the kids tense up, afraid of what's about to happen. "Abomaton, aim," Odalia ordered, with it aiming its cannon at her. Although Odalia doesn't see it, it seems like she knows where it's aiming. "Abomaton, fire!" Odalia quickly turns around, grabbing ahold of her necklaces to use her Oracle magic, reflecting Alador.
Alador is launched across the floor as the blast hits his bile sac. Amity, Edric, and Emira rush to his aid, helping him up before being surrounded by more Abomatons. At that moment, they knew they were defeated.
"It's a shame that you three favor your father more than me. If you hadn't, I wouldn't have to take you three to the emperor himself for sabotaging the Day of Unity." Odalia sent chills down her kids' spine, not bothering to put up with a fight against a being standing side by side with powerful Abomatons.
–
"Where are the Blights?" Eda asked Lilith, the two in disguise as coven scouts while Lilith is on the watch for Edric's signal.
"I haven't seen even one enter the premises. You think they got caught?"
"Hope not. Raine's Plan B is a bit risky to pull off."
"That's the least of our worries... " Lilith said, pointing out the kids held captive by Odalia.
"Shit! Get the explosions ready!" Eda rushes to the others as Lilith pulls out the explosives, ready to use them. However, they were soon stopped by other coven members surrounding them alongside the Abomatons.
The crew gasps and whispers amongst themselves, seeing the perpetrators of a potential conspiracy against the Day of Unity. Eventually, Belos arrives with Darius, Eberwolf, and Raine apprehended by Terra's vines.
"Children of the Isles, our fellow coven heads attempted to collaborate with wild witches to commit an act of terror against the citizens of the Boiling Isles to stop the Day of Unity!" Belos shouted, prepping his words to ignite rage against the CATs. "Worry not! We have secured the safety of the environment, and as punishment for these terrorists, we will give them a front-row seat to watch us succeed in the land of paradise!" The audience cheered Belos' name as the CATs and the Blights were taken to meet Belos face to face.
As Luz reaches the top of the staircase, her and Belos' eyes meet. One is full of anger, while the other is full of victory. Belos walks next to Luz, whispering in her ear.
"It's funny how you think you witches can change the future. Has it ever occurred to you who you're up against? Or are you so blinded by your attempts to make up for your worthlessness by acting like a hero?" Luz's blood boils as Belos continues to tear her down. "Enjoy watching everything you ever love start to die in front of your own eyes." Belos devilishly smirked, walking up in front of the crowd to give the last few words they would ever hear.
"Children of the Isles, let us begin our steps to the gates of paradise as the Titan intended!" Belos' words have the crowd go wild, cheering as they prepare for the moon and sun to meet. However, they stop as everyone begins to hear cracks in the distance.
Everyone stiffens and tenses up, looking around their surroundings to see what was cracking. Luz looks up to see the sky form cracks as if it was a pond of ice, with shades of blue leaking out. Soon everyone notices it and panics as they see the cracks grow and grow before the sky rips apart from each other. What seemed like a shooting star hits the Titan's skull, exploding it into multiple pieces to the amazement of everyone that saw.
There was nothing but silence afterward. Everyone stood still as the cloud of bone dust fogged the horizon. In the middle of the silence, a formation of a floor rises, reaching the area. Following the construction were harsh footsteps, stomping on the bones of the dead that came from the sea. Suddenly, a glass disk is thrown across the floor, softly hitting Belos' shoes. He recognizes it as where The Collector was trapped. However, they never seemed to appear, as if he was gone.
"Finally, I found you people right where I wanted you." Said the mysterious figure walking towards them, with an ever so familiar voice that seemed to be 2 voices layered on top of each other.
"Who are you? And what do you want?" Belos asked, summoning his staff as he's on edge by the figure that seemingly caused The Collector to disappear.
"I'm here for one thing only; Luz Noceda." The dust settles away, revealing The Collector #404's true form. He looked like he and Luz had formed into one being while taking some features from a demonic monster. They continued to walk toward everyone, with their head tilted to have a stance of an 80s slasher killer while everyone gawks at them. Looking at Luz and then to Collector #404, confused yet frightened as to what power they hold. All the while Luz and her friends are left terrified, shielding her away from The Collector.
"I suggest you should stop right now."
"Why?"
"You're outnumbered 1 to 9, all of which are the most powerful witches in the entire Demon Realm."
"Are you counting yourself?"
"Why of course."
"With what source of magic?" As The Collector #404 asked, Belos felt his heart beat faster, building up tons of heat as if his body was burning. He fell to the floor, seeing that The Collector blankly stared him down, watching him die. Then suddenly, his heart explodes with his green goo flying everywhere.
Terra watches in horror but immediately summons her vines to attack them, but The Collector takes control of the vines, summoning more that are sharp. The vines soon take a hold of Terra's arms and legs with the sharp vines traveling to her lower body, easily tearing her body in half. The moment the pool of blood and guts fell, everyone fled. Coven heads Osran and Vitimir attempt to buy the others time by using their own respected spells to no avail.
The potions used by Vitimir soon backfire as The Collector grabs one of them and makes the effects of melting the body more quicker yet painful. He throws it at Vitimir, melting his skin and muscle away as he screams.
Osran tried to summon a powerful spirit to attack The Collector, but they summoned more to overpower the spirit and take Osran away in the distance to make him their next meal. The remaining coven heads watch in horror as their partners weren't able to stop The Collector.
"Eda! Lilith! Mason! Take the kids and get out of here!" Darius screamed to the Clawthornes as they tried to guide the panicked induced kids to safety.
"No! We're not leaving you to die!"
"Edalyn, please!" Raine chimes in, trying to sway her emotionally. But Eda didn't need any more convincing as The Collector walks down the staircase and quickly kills Hettie Cutburn with a simple slice of his throat.
"Darius!" Hunter screams as Eda and Lilith push him. His view on Darius is soon lost as Mason begins to form a maze to buy them even more time.
"Sorry, kid! We have to go now!" Eda says as Mason guides them out of the maze.
"What does that thing want with me?!" Luz asks while running for her life.
"I don't know, but we should focus on running away!" Amity runs beside her, with the twins following behind them.
Their conversation is cut short as the wall collapses, showing that The Collector is using Raine's blood-covered violin to cut the walls in half. Eda looks back in dismay, unable to accept that Raine went down so quickly in a fight.
"Go! Keep on running!" Eda stays behind, transforming into her harpy form.
"No!" Luz and King cry out but still run. It wasn't long until they all could hear the crunches of Eda's body followed by a short scream before the sounds of blood splattering the walls.
"Mason! Just kill it!" Lilith shouts as they reach the end of the maze. Everyone jumps out before The Collector could strike. Mason then quickly summons another wall as The Collector reaches them, presumingly squishing them as they hear the sounds of bones and muscles crunching.
Everyone looked at the wall that supposedly killed The Collector #404. Trying to process the death of almost everyone they knew, each hugging each other as their tears begin to flood their eyes.
"I think we stop-" BAM! An ax comes out from the wall, splitting Lilith's brain open. The Collector #404 steps out and pulls it out, pushing her body away. Mason tries to fight them but is soon squished by two walls that appeared from the ground.
He pushes the kids away to make way for Luz, who tries to crawl away. Immediately, Hunter and Emira rush to stop The Collector, risking their lives to save Luz. The Collector grabs Hunter and Emira using their magic but seems captivated by Emira's appearance.
"It's you…." The Collector firmly states, not knowing whether to feel saddened or angered by seeing Emira. Despite their saddened state, The Collector, with a simple snap of their finger, caused Hunter's body to explode, throwing him to the side as Willow tears up. He reaches for his ax, ready to chop Emira's head. She closes her eyes as she anticipates her death.
"Stop right there!" Someone yelled out, shooting The Collector before he could ax Emira. Two mysterious figures dressed in robotic metal suits rush to The Collector as they intensively fight them off using all sorts of physical and magical attacks. One of them manages to have a collar tied around The Collector's neck, quickly weakening them.
"You guys need to get out of here, now!" One of them rushes towards the group, giving each some odd device. "Use these to go to another universe! Now go! Split up into 2s!"
"B-But-!" Luz tries to reason with them until The Collector rises to fight despite trying to handle the collar's power to lower their strength.
"But nothing! Go!" Out of impatience, the person uses the device to open 3 portals to separate universes and pushes all of them into the portals. Emira, Luz, and King get thrown into an alleyway of a downtown city while the others are pushed into different environments. Before they could say anything, the mysterious figure closed the portal using their magic, leaving everyone to their own devices.
The three amigos just stand there, trying to process the events that happened in such a short amount of time. King tries to find comfort from Luz who in turn looks to Emira for comfort.
"Everything is going to be ok…right?"
"I…I hope so." Emira tries to force a smile before slowly tearing up, causing Luz's tears to come out as well. Luz and King instinctively hug the older Blight as she weeps for the death of Eda and Lilith, Emira doing much of the same as she cries with her.
After about an hour of crying, the trio walks around the city, trying to gather their thoughts before trying to move to another universe to escape The Collector. Some of the citizens of the city stare at Emira but quickly go back to minding their own business. Either way, it didn't help her mental stability.
"These people keep staring at me." Emira expressed, clearly anxious about the number of eyes she and King attracted.
"I guess they're just not used to seeing witches in this universe yet." Luz excused.
"Then why are these people staring at you too, Luz?" King asked, noticing a couple of people looking at Luz with confusion and curiosity. The second Luz turned to see, everyone turned around, pretending as if they weren't looking at her.
"I don't know." Luz ponders as the trio walks faster. However, they're soon stopped by a couple of young school journalists still in their high school uniform.
"Hello there ! Mind if I can ask you a few questions for the school newspaper?"
"What? How do you know my name?"
"Uh, we go to the same school? Cut the amnesia action, Luz Noceda."
"I'm not acting!"
"Ok, let's go along with your play. My name is Maggie."
"Maggie, what?"
"Maggie mindyourownfuckingbusiness. Now you go to Jefferson High School with your weirdo friends and me. However, I have enough of a good amount of evidence that you and your little 'friend' here know Frog-Man!" Maggie accused the two witches of knowing…Frog-Man.
"...who?" Luz and Emira both said, confused by Maggie's accusations.
"You know, I would be annoyed at you two's continuation of this very underwhelming performance of acting like you guys have amnesia, but I can't take you seriously with your Harry Potter-like witch cosplay." Maggie points to Emira's outfit and pointy ears.
"Uhh…yeah! Harry Potter cosplay! You got me there! I think we'll be leaving now!" Emira, not knowing how to leave the conversation, tries to push Luz and King away from it before more kids start to surround them.
"Oh no, you don't, Emira Blight. I'm tired of you two always running away, avoiding my team and I from even asking about Frog-Man. I'm going to get my questions answered one way or another." Maggie walks up to the pair, pulling up a picture of the Frog-Man she speaks of. He wore a tight blue suit and green shorts with his yellow scarf and goggles covering his face, swinging around by using his yellow tongue.
"Does Frog-Man ever wash his tongue after using it?" King asked, disgusted by the idea of traveling around by tongue.
"Silence, you dog-cat thing! Give me your answers!" The group of teens surrounds the trio, ready to throw punches if needed. Luz and Emira ponder if they should use magic or not, risking the image of the Luz and Emira of this universe.
Before they could make a decision, a small number of people started to run away, leaving the teens confused. A small number turned into a crowd, pushing each other to run faster. The teens, feeling anxious about what's going on, follow the crowd leaving the trio and Maggie alone as they are confused. Their questions are soon answered as a green metal ball rolls up to them, beeping as if it was counting down to an explosion.
"Oh shit! You're on your own!" Maggie screams as she runs, with the witches running as well just before the explosion could hit them. They duck down, covering their heads from any possible debris. A burst of laughter soon catches their attention. They rise to see a man riding a glider while wearing a full metal green suit with a mask shaped like a goblin, laughing maniacally.
"Oh, it's so good to be back! Citizens of Los Angeles! How does it feel to have everything taken from you, huh?! Come on! Face me like a man!" The villain yelled out to the panicked citizens trying to run away from the bombs he threw. Emira and Luz soon try to run, with King holding on tightly to Luz's shirt. However, the villain soon notices the pair and stops them in their tracks. "I didn't expect to see you here, sister."
"W-What?" Emira, at first, was confused, but soon it hit her. The voice sounded ever so familiar to her. The villain removed his mask to reveal himself to be Edric Blight. The three are shocked to see the Blight in such a villainous position.
"Why are you shocked, sister? Do you find it surprising that I have finally developed competence? That I would forever be the brother that lives under you and Amity's shadow?" Edric walks close and close to Emira, sending her to her flight or fight mode. Before Edric could lung, Emira grabbed one of Luz's glyphs and combined it with her illusion magic to make a blue explosion, hitting Edric directly.
"You're…not from this world." Edric realized, getting up to see the pair running away, holding a strange device.
"Hurry! Open another one!" Luz tries to rush Emira to figure out the machine
"I don't know how! Fuck!" Emira struggles to get the device working, taking long enough for Edric to take it away from them.
"What an interesting piece of technology you have here." Edric examines the device, playfully fiddling with it to worry Em and Luz. King screeches to blow Edric away, making him drop it.
Emira, Luz, and King quickly run to catch it, and as soon as Luz is close to grabbing it, Edric flies by her. He grabs Luz by her ponytail, Luz tries to fight back, but his arms extend to keep her far from him. His other arm grabs a news helicopter that had just arrived at the scene, pulling it closer.
"Oh dear sister from another universe, tell me how you arrived here. Or else I make their broadcast unusable for TV." Edric smirks, pulling the helicopter's blades closer and closer to Luz. When Emira and King rush to help Luz escape, they get snatched by a sudden force.
"Emira." A deepened angered voice called for her. Emira turns to see this universe's variant of Amity Blight. She floats in the air alongside her long red cape and green-dyed hair. She has tattoos all over her body, with demonic imagery of pentagrams, goat heads, and 666.
"Come on, don't make me a murderer." Edric pulls the helicopter ever so closer, causing the crew to stop filming and look away. However, a green tongue is soon attached to the bottom of the vehicle. It was the one and only…Frog-Man.
He swings himself into action, kicking Edric in the face. Edric lets go of the copper and drops Luz, landing on a car below her without breaking a single window. Amity tries to catch Frog-Man, but he spits acid, causing her skin to burn. Emira and King are let go as a result and run for Luz.
"Are you ok?!"
"Yeah! Let's get out here while we can!" Luz demands as they start to run to a safe place to open the portal.
"Run! I'll try to cover you guys!" Frog-Man screams in between fighting both Edric and Amity. But his battle ends as Amity grabs him, trying to squish him. Emira and Luz see that he is struggling to escape. They looked at each other as if they had the same thought; to save him.
The two run to save Frog-Man as King is confused. But his questions are left unanswered as Emira tries to figure out how the device works until the very last minute.
"Where would you like to go?" A female robotic voice asks.
"Far from this universe!" Emira yelled at the voice.
"How about Universe 11-"
"If it's far, yes!"
"But-"
"JUST OPEN THE PORTAL!" Emira screams as she points to it behind Frog-Man. A portal opens behind him. He looks in awe and turns to see where it came from but comes face to face with Emira, Luz, and King who tackle him into the portal.
They all scream as they endlessly fall from one universe to another. Each universe looks completely different from one another and at times, even changes the gangs' appearance. At one moment, their skin are different shades of green, yellow, and purple skin. In another, their faces are shaped differently, seemingly based on simple 2D shapes. They go from classic 1920s animation to HD 3D models, from 3D to live-action, from live-action to even fucking WORMS. Their fall quickens as they go to a dinosaur universe, steampunk universe, sci-fi-fantasy, World War 1, mere atoms, chibi, space, pixeled, 1984-
"AHHH! OOF!" Everyone gets thrown out of the portal, landing on their backs. They all breathe heavily after falling for what felt like weeks or even months.
"Is everyone ok?" Emira asked, with Luz and King nodding in response. Frog-Man took off his mask to breathe more easily. Under the mask, he looked to be of Afro-Latino descent. It eases King's mind, thinking he was legitimately half frog, half human.
"There's never a moment where you two hadn't had to…save me…?" Frog-Man tried to thank the two before seeing Emira and Luz's appearance differ from the ones he knows in his universe. "You guys aren't from my universe…." He realized.
"No, we aren't," Luz confirmed. Frog-Man was confused at first before realizing something else.
"Wait a minute. So, the multiverse is real?"
"I guess so."
"O-Oh my god! I knew it! So uh, what do I look like in your universe?!" Frog-Man asked, excited that his theory was correct.
"Who are you?"
"Sprig! Sprig Plantar!"
"Um…I don't know a Sprig. Do you, Emira?"
"Nope." Emira simply states, making Sprig somewhat saddened.
"Oh, I guess the Sprig in your universe hasn't met you two yet." He chuckles before switching topics to where they were. "So, where are we anyway?" As Sprig asks, he examines the area which once was a city that looked to be heavily bombarded and now abandoned.
"I'm not sure. That machine talked to us, so maybe it can tell us what universe we're in."
"Maybe…." Emira pressed the button that she used to talk to the machine.
"How may I be of assistance today?"
"Um, what universe are we in?"
"You are in Universe 115 Variant #2118. I highly suggest finding a secure spot and opening another portal as this universe has been quarantined by the IPS."
"IPS? Who are they?" Sprig asked.
"Your guess is as good as mine. I think we should do what it says." Emira said, leading the way to find a secure spot that the voice recommended. As they walked, Sprig continued to ask more questions.
"Wait, both of you are witches in your universe?"
"Emira is, but I'm not really a witch. I'm a human who's trying to be a witch though."
"Really? Well, my Luz is already a witch! Hell, she got witch powers from some witch from another dimension. She mastered everything from Healing to Illusions!"
"Oh? I wish I could've met her." Luz said, kicking one of the larger peddles in her path.
"Eh, we wouldn't get the chance if Edric and Amity didn't attack today. That's because she and my Emira went off to your home country to introduce Em to her family while doing hero business."
"Wait, why?" Emira stopped her tracks as she and Luz were confused as to why.
"What do you mean why? Aren't you guys…." Sprig stopped himself, realizing that he brought up a very…very uncomfortable question. Luz and Emira looked at each other, blushed, and then stepped away from each other to their personal bubble. "Did I-"
"Please talk about something else."
"O-Oh. Um…"
"H-Hey! What does your King look like?" King asked to move on to a less awkward topic.
"Oh? OH! King! You're just a dog in my world. I'm honestly amazed that you're from a universe where you can talk!"
"Just…a dog, huh?" King, although successfully making the conversation less weird, felt underwhelmed by the fact that in Sprig's world, he's just an ordinary dog and not some demon. The conversation is cut short as a scream echoes across the abandoned city, coming from the theater next to them.
"...Anne?" Sprig recognized the scream, sounding similar to his Anne. "W-We have to help!"
"Why? What if it's some evil variant of Anne? There's a reason why this IPS whatever group labeled this universe as quarantined!" Emira tries to reason with Sprig, however, he ignores her and swings his way to the theater with the witches following suit.
"I seriously need to ask if he cleans his mouth or not!"
