Qibli's word for loyalty was for only one dragon. Queen Thorn. The greatest queen of Phyrria, the greatest queen who would live on forever and ever. Which was only why Qibli agreed to go to Jade Mountain Academy. She had risen the question to him one day, while they were flying over the desert with some of her guard.

"Qibli" She had said, and Qibli tented his wings respectfully. "I have a notice from a school Sunny and her friends are opening." Qibli nodded. Notice had flown around the stronghold, and many dragons were arriving there asking for permission to see the Queen. Qibli wanted to give someone else a chance, and besides, who was going to protect his queen when he was gone? Which technically meant he was at the Academy on Thorn's orders.

As Sandwings were built for long distances, it didn't take long for the group of the Sandwing attenders to catch sight of the mountain. Qibli's interest only grew as he saw a cluster of dragons varying from Rainwings to Skywings to Mudwings. Presumably because they're kingdoms are much closer than Seawings and Icewings. He theorised. But… what about the Nightwings? Are they preparing new weapons to 'terrorise' us with? Do they want to make a grand entrance once everyone is here? Or may- Qibli caught himself, before his thoughts took hold of him. The Nightwings were probably just being a normal late dragon, nothing to worry about at all. But as he entered the large entrance, there were the same words of Thorn drumming in his head. 'Be cautious of the Nightwings, always be alert of their next move'. It was agonizing to hear it again and again, and Qibli knew it wouldn't be-

"OH, MY GOODNESS HELLO YOU ARE THE FIRST SANDWINGS! OOOOO SO EXCITINGGGG!" Before Qibli could react, a Nightwing thrust a scroll and a map into his face. Qibli gingerly lifted the parchment from the dragon's clutches. Fatespeaker eagerly pointed in turn, first to the scroll, then to the map.

"Your Welcome Scroll, and your map to the areas! OH YEAH and by the way I am Fatespeaker you must know me ha ha I am Starflight's friend!"

"Thanks!" Qibli grinned at her, and she beamed back.

One of the points Queen Thorn gave Qibli was to protect and keep and eye out for the General's daughter. General Six-Claws and a Sandwing called Kindle had an enthusiastic daughter called Ostrich, and she was slightly younger than Qibli, and always up to mischief. He had rather enjoyed her chatter on the way to Jade Mountain, and was considering her in his top five favourite dragons list-not that he had one of course…

The minute they stepped in the main entrance, Qibli could feel claustrophobic creeping inside of him. He glanced at his fellow tribemates and noticed them press their talons against the walls, and a dragonet called Pronghorn, who started to take sharp breaths.

"Mayyyybe let's stay in the corridor" Ostrich said shakily, also taking a look at themselves. Pronghorn agreeably nodded, deep in his thoughts. Qibli took a look around, assessing the level of detail the dragonets of destiny had put in, and focusing on the dragonets that looked most threatening. Hm, that Mudwing sure looks depressed, wonder if he'd make a good clawmate. What about that angry Skywing? He sure looks like he would bite anyone's head off. Ouch. I really hope he is my clawmate. Then I could tame him and turn him into a kind dragon. That Seawing sure looks quiet- from the way the green dragon was hunching and shying away from the other students, in Qibli's view, a good dragon as a clawmate. Since the dragons passing were all the same tribes, Qibli's focus ultimately zoomed into the first Nightwing he saw.

THAT'S ALL I'M GOING TO WRITE FOR THIS STORY, EVERYONE! PART TWO COMING SOON!
