It had been 1 week after the graduation. Things had finally settled down, well, except Ginny's mum planning a Christmas wedding for Percy and Aubrey. Ginny had finally told her mother about moving out in at least 3 weeks. She had been quite furious to say the least but soon got over it with lots of assurances and rules set in place much to Ginny's amusement. She had also filed a job seeking letter to Gringotts and they had replied, saying she had to provide her NEWTs which she was expecting late July, next month.
The house was quite quiet nowadays. Ginny's mum always visiting Fleur as Bill had recently gone back to work after a 1 month leave and Fleur would be going back after Victoire was 5 months as they'd given her 6 months maternity leave. She also worked at Gringotts, but as a Runic Translator.
Ron and Harry had immediately gone into Auror training school as the ministry gave them both leeway since they were both quite known for the defeat of Voldemort. Auror training school, just like curse breaking academy, was 6 months.
Ginny helped her mom with household chores, arranging her things and anticipating moving out as she missed Blaise. They planned to meet over the new week though in town here in Ottery St. Catchpole.
At least for a cup of tea. She was also going to go with Luna to go check out their new home before moving in. To at least paint or stuff. Luna had immediately headed to the ministry to go register her company so she could become legal and start her adventure. She was to be starting at least in Ireland and Scotland before spreading to other countries.
As she relaxed under the tree in the backyard, she smiled, eyes closed as she reminisced on past memories. Things had really and truly changed. Here she was, planning on moving out of her childhood home in just a matter of weeks. She looked around wistfully, she was going to miss it. The backyard which was spelled so muggle neighbors wouldn't notice as they played Quidditch. The largest tree in the backyard which Ginny and her brothers used to climb when they were younger. Ginny of course used to get scolded for being unladylike. She scoffed. Her mother should have expected it though. Honestly, having 6 brothers basically said it all.
Getting up and grabbing a curse breaking book Bill had lent her, she headed back inside after hearing her mum announce she was back.
"Hey mum! How was the visit?"
Bill and Fleur lived at the Shell Cottage, on the outskirts of Tinworth, Cornwall. It was gifted to them in Aunt Muriel's will. It was a really beautiful place, a beach not too far from their hill. A nice place to raise a family. They were also renovating it as well. Ginny went there 3 days ago, it wasn't a little cottage anymore. It was now a 2 story home. It still had work to be done, but as they made money, they'll definitely keep making it splendid.
"Oh, it was wonderful dear, let me just put some potatoes up for dinner"
"You could let me do it mum"
Ginny said and her mum smiled.
"No dear, let me do your cooking before you leave the house. You could help me with peeling them though"
Ginny chuckled.
Not too long, Ron flooed in, groaning in pain.
"Hello dear, how was practice?"
"I'm miserable"
He moaned as he feel on a sofa and Molly tutted.
"Suck it up dear. By December you and Harry will be finishing up and starting the new year as proper Aurors."
"Maybe I should just help Fred and George at the joke shop instead"
Ginny snickered as Molly glared at him.
"Absolutely not! Now how about going to have a hot and steamy bath then you know where the pain relief potion and ointment are. Then you can have a nice spot of dinner. Maybe I should send some ointment and potions to harry too"
Ginny shook her head.
"You forget mum, that Tonks is an Auror too, I'm sure she has those."
"Hmm…you're probably right. Maybe I should order a lot. Especially with you also joining a curse breaking academy"
"They haven't accepted me yet mum"
"As if there was any doubt…"
Ginny beamed.
"Head Auror Robards is an ass mum…"
Ron groaned as he went up the stairs limping.
"Language Ronald Weasley"
Molly chastised and Ginny chuckled.
"Wow! This is real huge! I wonder what sort of blackmail your dad holds against the man."
Ginny murmured as she stared at her and Luna's new place in awe. It was situated somewhere in London. A not so rowdy street but still quite busy. A red brick wall townhouse.
Luna nodded, smiling.
"It sure is! The whole flat is ours! 3 rooms to choose from! Oh, and I put the flowers around so bubblewinkies don't get attracted to our apartment you know"
Luna whispered conspiratorially.
"What are bubblewinkies?"
"They're tiny slugs that float around in bubbles and look for new homes to take over. Very difficult to chase away too. Their bubbles are quite strong after all…"
Ginny chuckled.
"Of course bestie. Now! Let's get to work!"
A week passed and the first week of July came. Ginny was dressed casually in a white long sleeved cropped round neck top, blue skinny jeans and sneakers, ready to meet Blaise in town.
"When am I going to meet the boy Ginny? Just tell him to come over instead."
Molly said for the hundredth time that morning. Ginny rolled her eyes as she came down the stairs, her father sipping a cup of tea and reading the morning paper. He had a day off today and so was spending it with his wife.
"Just let her go Molly. I'm sure when the time is right, we'll all meet him."
"Yes, but… They've been together for over 6 months now! It's already past that time already!"
Ginny groaned at her inpatient mother and hugged her.
"It's okay mum, you'll meet him soon. Now, I've got to go. I'll see you guys later! Love you!"
And she was out the door. Beaming as she rushed down the hill to the road and apparating where no one saw her into town, behind a mini bookstore.
She hadn't seen Blaise in at least 2 weeks and she'd been missing him terribly. They planned to meet for breakfast in the muggle restaurant in Catchpole.
Walking around town, she got to the quaint restaurant and entered. She saw Blaise already there, going through the menu, looking relaxed and oblivious to the stares some women were giving him. She glared at them. He was dressed in a black turtleneck form fitting sweater and Ash knee length longsleeved coat and black jeans with dragon hide boots. His hair styled in a carefree way. Smiling, she walked over to the table.
He looked up and let a little smile, standing up and she rushed over to him, placing a soft but long kiss on his lips which he eagerly returned. When they broke it, he smirked.
"Looks like someone missed me a lot"
I shrugged.
"Maybe. But definitely not your ego"
He winked at her and she scoffed, smiling as he helped her sit down, ignoring some glaring teens at the corner of the restaurant.
"hope you don't mind, I ordered us an English breakfast"
"Good, cause I'm starving"
He raised an eyebrow at her, amused and she shrugged. The waiter brought their food and set it on the table and they ate quietly, making light conversation here and there. When they were done, Blaise paid for their food, rolling his eyes when Ginny tried to.
"Sweetheart, I'm not letting you pay don't be silly"
Blaise muttered placing a kiss on Ginny's cheek. A girl mumbled nearby.
"Oh I can be silly for you any day…"
Before she squeaked and covered her red face mortified and thankful at the same time that he didn't hear her.
Walking outside, they decided to walk around town for a while.
"So, how've you been?"
Blaise asked quietly as they took a stroll down the road, Blaise's hand around Ginny's arm.
"A bit busy… at least for everyone. Ron is in Auror school, always complaining about it mind you… I'm still waiting for my NEWTs results so I can submit them for curse breaking academy. I really hope I do well"
Blaise scoffed.
"I know you'll do well. Who else will"
Ginny beamed before stepping in front of him and giving him a long kiss.
"Keep doing things like that and I'll take you somewhere and have my way with you"
Ginny bit her lip.
"Maybe I want that…"
She whispered and his eyes darkened with lust.
"Are you sure?"
"Hells yeah, I've missed you."
He dragged her by the hand, both forgetting their stroll and back to the restaurant entrance in front of a very cool silver sports car.{Mazda MX-5 (ND)}.
"Nice car"
Ginny breathed out, staring at it in awe.
"Thanks"
Speeding, they got to an expensive looking hotel where, Blaise tossed his key to a guy and walked into the hotel and into an elevator. They got to a floor and headed to a door. It said Suite 76 on it. Using a card, Blaise swiped and they entered, loosing their clothes in seconds and on the bed, showing each other just how much they'd missed their company in weeks.
"Exactly how many cars do you have?"
Ginny muttered as she rested her tired head on Blaise's chest.
"6, and still counting. It's an hobby of mine, acquiring fast cars."
Ginny smiled, relaxing.
"I've missed this… A lot"
"Me too"
He replied, brushing his hand through her ruby locks.
"How're Theo and Daphne by the way? How's the wedding plan going?"
"Theo is seriously ruffled"
Blaise said amusedly.
"The wedding is in at least 2 weeks but the preparation is too much for him. Draco and I have to take him out for a drink at least once a week because of it all."
Ginny laughed.
"How's Draco anyway?"
"He's adjusting. He finally became Lord Malfoy and is trying to arrange the family account and all… he'll be fine"
They discussed some more, family, friends, jobs, people, ordered food and ate, fell into each other's arms again before it was evening and Blaise drove her home.
