July 24th came quickly and with it, the wedding of Daphne and Theo. The morning was beautiful and rays of sunlight filtered into Ginny's room.

Standing up, she went for a run along her street. She had to keep being healthy after all. Her NEWTs had arrived 3 days earlier and she'd passed all her NEWTs with Os proudly. She'd immediately sent a copy to gringotts which they replied back the following day saying she was accepted into the curse breaking academy and should resume the first day of August. She'd been so delighted. Everything in her life was looking up.

The wedding was taking place in Nott Manor. An imposing and architectural home. In Wizarding tradition, it was mandatory for a wedding to take place in the groom's home.

It would be starting by 2. The ceremony was less than an hour, and then the reception would last till 7pm. They weren't planning on a long wedding. After of course, they'd be going on a 1 month honeymoon/vacation. Lucky them.

Luna would be meeting up with her at the burrow and then floo to Nott Manor. Today, it was opened for the guests alone.

Greeting her mother and eating a light spot of breakfast, Ginny went to take her bath and did her hygiene routine. By around 1:30pm, she was done, dressed in a baby pink spaghetti gown, tight and flaring from her waist, falling in an elegant wave just a bit past her knees. Luna wore something similar but the sleeve reached her elbow and the gown fell to her calf.

Carrying the gift they both bought together, a Slytherin green sexy lingerie for Daphne's honeymoon and for Theo, a silver collar. The 2 girls smirked as they went through the floo and into Nott Manor.

Nott Manor was elegant and a bit imposing at the same time. It had a luscious field where the wedding would be taking place and then the reception would be in the Nott hall.

The best friends landed in a mini hall where a house elf bowed and told them the way out and into the field.

"Wow… This place is so cool… Daphne would definitely love being the Lady of the house."

Ginny muttered as they went down a flight of stairs as.

"It does suit her doesn't it?"

Luna smiled amusedly. They finally walked out of the Manor and to the field where they say silver chairs arranged neatly and elegantly in even lines. The girls would be staying in the line for Daphne. As they walked closer, they saw Theo dressed in silver and black wedding robes, greeting people who came over to him. Draco, Blaise and 2 other guys they didn't know around him. Ginny only had eyes for Blaise though. He spotted her easily and went over to her.

"Hey princess, you look amazing today."

Ginny beamed and placed a kiss on his lips.

"You look smashing in that too"

She said and he winked at her.

"it shouldn't surprise you"

She huffed and playfully hit him before greeting the others and congratulating Theo.

Soon enough, the wedding was to begin, officiated by a wizard from the ministry.

Luna and Ginny sat down as the guys arranged themselves. Theo at the front, his best man, identified as a close cousin of his and Draco, Blaise and another wizard identified as Daphne's elder brother as his groomsmen. Soon, the bridesmaids walked through, possibly Daphne's relatives and her maid of honor, her sister, Astoria walked through. Daphne then waltzed in looking very beautiful in a white and obviously expensive calf length gown that had diamond glitters around it. The veil fell to her waist and her bouquet of flowers in her dainty hand. She was all smiles which was a wonder but it fit her. After all, it was her wedding day! She was walked in by her father who was proud but a bit stiff faced.

The ceremony was a quiet and peaceful one. No drama and no mistakes and when it was done, the newly Weds kissed lovingly eliciting polite claps from everyone. Ginny couldn't keep the smile off her face as she clapped too, her eyes finding Blaise's too.

After congratulating them, everyone moved to the hall that was already arranged and settled at tables their names were.

Ginny found hers thankfully on a table with Luna. Sadly, it seemed they were also with a bunch of old aristocrats as well.

As the first couple dance ended, Blaise immediately found her and she stood up eagerly. He smirked.

"Missed me that much?"

She glared at him as they began their waltz.

"Maybe. And don't blame me! I mean, those stuffy old women kept asking if Luna and I were betrothed, also if we had children! Ugh! I'm so frustrated!"

"How about I fix that?"

He whispered seductively and Ginny shivered, before biting her lip and nodding eagerly.

Sneaking away when no one watched, they snuck into a large powder room and Ginny looked around interestingly.

"Now this is something I've never done before"

"Well, a good time to try hunh?"

He said as he immediately captured her lips in his and lifted her up a sink.

Ginny and Luna finally moved into their home after 2 days and hosted a party. Surprisingly enough, Blaise and Ginny's mom hit it off, though Ginny suspected it was all Blaise's charms. Her dad made it later in the day and also got introduced to him.

That night, they christened the bed. And that night, they had a major fight.

"That was soooo good!"

Ginny sighed out as they embraced.

"Hm, I'll take it as a see you till next month sex"

Ginny frowned before remembering the whole 1 month travel with him and his friends.

"Oh. Right… you and the guys right?"

"Yes. And Corinna."

Ginny's eyes immediately narrowed at that.

"Corinna? What's she doing there?"

Blaise raised an eyebrow.

"You do realize that she's a friend too right?"

"Yeah, a friend you've slept with"

Ginny mumbled and Blaise pursed his lips.

"And that's a problem how?"

Ginny's eyes widened and she sat up, making him sit up too.

"Really Blaise?? You don't see? I'm definitely not going to be okay with my boyfriend gallivanting around the globe for the next one month with his ex!"

"A friend, if you've forgotten!"

Blaise said, his eyes narrowing, showing he was angry.

"Please Blaise! I don't want to hear it!"

"Well, if that's the case"

He said, before standing out of bed and wearing his clothes. Ginny bristled at his form of ignoring her.

"Really?! You're going to walk out of our conversation like a kid?!"

He turned back to her, putting on his jacket.

"I'm obviously not the one acting like a kid over a matter like this!"

"Fine then! Go on! Go for your holiday with that bitch! See if I care if you even fuck her!

She said, gritting her teeth and his jaw tightened.

"I had obviously thought you were mature enough for this relationship. It seems you're not"

Ginny reared back in shock.

Was he… Was he breaking up with her?!

"Whatever Blaise! See if I care!"

Something went through his eyes and he nodded, walking out the room in anger.

Ginny could only stare at the door in shock before she burst into uncontrollable tears. Hugging her self in shock. She didn't mean those things she said and now she couldn't take it back. She felt her bed move and a pair of familiar pale skin hug her. Luna.

"Oh Ginny…"

She said softly as Ginny sobbed quietly to herself. Regret and anger flowing through her mind.

Ginny groaned as she stood up from her bed the next morning. It was a cold morning and the sun was clouded by the morning weather. It was drizzling slightly.

Turning to check the time on her alarm clock, 7:13am. She must have slept in. What the hell had she done that night?

Soon enough, memories of the previous night began to filter through her mind and her heart skipped. Was her relationship with Blaise over?

Her eyes watered a bit. This relationship was much more important to her than any other she'd been in. Hell, she'd given a lot to the relationship for it to end this way. She could die! If it happened.

Crawling out of bed and putting her white fluffy robes around her to prevent being chilled, she walked out her room and into the passage and then the living room. It seemed Luna wasn't around. She entered the kitchen and poured herself a cup of hot coffee and took a sip, settling on a stool and the kitchen island as she took a deep breath.

In at least 4 days or so, she'd be starting at the curse breaking academy. She didn't want it to be on a sad note dammit!

All of a sudden, Luna's bunny patronus flew into the room and she was immediately on a high alert.

Ginny, Blaise seems to have requested for a early portkey. He's leaving today for Italy rather than on the 30th. His portkey leaves at exactly 7:30am. Draco just told me and we'll be seeing him off.

Ginny immediately burst into action, rushing to her room to wear a pair of jeans and a shirt, casting a breath refreshing charm on herself and rushing out her room towards the floo.

She flooed into the ministry, getting slowed down at the wand check point and immediately dashing towards the department of international travels.

The last thing she saw when she got the correct route, was Luna and Draco waving someone who vanished and tears filled her eyes.

The last thing Blaise also saw was a flash of ruby red hair dashing towards his direction.

Hand in hand, Luna and Draco turned to leave when Luna caught sight of Ginny and rushed to her, hugging her.

"It's over…"

Was all Ginny could muttered.

"No it's not"

"Yes. It is. We—I said some things I wasn't supposed to. He's going to realize how much of a burden I was to him now that he's gone"

Draco snorted.

"Burden? Maybe. I do know he doesn't mind"

Luna smiled at Draco's seeming lack of tact.

"Just give him some time Ginny. He'll be back. He can't seem to get enough of you."

"Sad but true"

Draco said.

Ginny sighed, nodding dejectedly as she was led out of the ministry by Luna who decided to treat her to breakfast at a nearby Café in London.

August 1

Ginny sighed as she walked into gringotts for her first official day as a junior curse breaker for gringotts.

She was dressed in the customary junior curse breaker outfit and kit.

A pair of leather brown trousers that had protective charms on it and clung tightly to the skin. A brown long sleeved shirt tucked in the trousers, a pair of dragon hide boots she bought with her money. Expensive but well worth it. Her wand in it's holster, a dagger hidden in her boots courtesy of Bill, mini pockets around her trousers as well filled with pepper up potion, bruise salve and a mini health kit minimized into her pocket. Bill had told her the importance of getting ready as the goblins valued action.

Walking into the bank, she was directed into another room. It was large, filled with close to 30 people either around her age or abit older.

They were all dressed similarly, some more packed than others, some looking determined, others laid-back. She decided to study them before talking to any. After all, some might be her partners in the near future. A curse breaking team was a team of 5 after all.

The door banged open and 2 goblins walked in looking extra dangerous and the room quietened.

The older looking one spoke first.

"Junior Curse Breakers, I am Bogrod of Gringotts, this here is my assistant Jawlan. Today is your first training towards becoming a curse breaker. Know this, just because you look like a curse breaker doesn't mean you are one. Out of all 30 of you, by the end of the day, 6 groups of 5 will be created. A group will be discontinued and sent out on their arses out of this academy. In the following month, another group will be discontinued and become clerk's at our curse breaking offices. In about 4 months, another group will be transferred to become ward breakers instead. Only 3 groups will remain to become curse breakers. Know this too, you will be tested, your will, possibly broken, and you will wish you never tried to become our curse breakers. Its a deadly job after all"

Bogrod smiled devilishly and some gulped, even Ginny felt her heart quicken at that.

"Now! At the end of the room, you will see bands with your name and a number on it, wear it on your fore arm and find those with the same number as yours. NOW!"

He shouted and everyone immediately rushed towards it. Ginny immediately wore hers with her surname on it and the number '4' on it. She saw 4 people with the number and immediately jogged to them, before they could start a conversation, Bogrod took over again.

"The first challenge is to create a sense of kinship amongst each group. You will be stranded each in different paths of a deep underground city excavated 3 years ago by senior curse breakers. Your goal is to survive there together, without help from gringotts for the next 3 days. You will face dangers, get injured and almost end up dead. Lots of traps are also scattered around the caves. For the next 3 days, you are expected to find a way out of the cave. You won't come across any other team, you are to survive as 1. Good luck. You'll need it"

Bogrod's evil smile was the last thing they saw before they landed in a dark cave.

Groaning, Ginny sat up and casted a Lumos with her wand that lit the room, or cave. Another girl in their group smartly did this as well.

"Ah! This sucks! First day and look where we end up!"

A guy groaned as he stood up, rubbing his ass. He was tall, around 5'11, dark brown hair and baby blue eyes with lithe muscles and quite handsome.

A snort sounded and another guy stood up, staring at the cave disgruntled.

"Tell me about it. Good thing I brought food ey?? I knew I'd need it!"

The black haired, brown eyed guy said happily, patting his bag in delight.

Ginny groaned. Another Ron.

"How about, less talking and more realizing where the hell we are?! Honestly, boys!"

The only other girl in the group mumbled. She was a dirty blonde, with hazel eyes and a button nose. She was pretty.

"Ah! If my diagnosis were correct! We are deep in precisely one of the newly excavated tombs in Egypt! Probably with the writings on the walls, it could guide us to an open room where we could look for clues as to how to escape from this underground area"

The last guy, around Ginny's too, looked around excitedly, a brown leather book in hand and a pen drawing something in it. He was black haired too, his skin was bronze like those from the middle East or so, with soft brown eyes and square rimmed glasses sitting on his nose, looking like a nerd.

"great! Before we start this escapade though, how about we know names hunh?"

Ginny said, stepping in and the tall guy crossed his arms.

"Who died and made you leader little girl?"

Ginny bristled at that.

"don't call me that!"

It vaguely reminded her of Blaise and her heart skipped.

"I'll call you whatever I please"

He huffed, brushing a hand through his hair and she scoffed. Of course, she had to have some pretty boy in her group.

"Leave him alone, he looks like those guys that can't even hurt a fly!"

The other girl huffed and opened her hand for a shake.

"Hi! I'm Angela Turpin. A pleasure to meet you"

Ginny shook her and smiled.

"Nice to meet you too. Ginny Weasley."

"Ooh! A war soldier! Someone with experience."

Angela said, making a jab at the tall guy who huffed.

"You'd definitely make a good leader."

"well! If we're introducing, I'm Darren Johnson, a pleasure"

The black haired guy who reminded her of Ron said, a sandwich in his hand as he chewed.

"Nice to meet you. And could you not chew the food we might likely be eating for the next 3 days??"

Angela said, shaking her head and Darren glared.

"What?! All the food I brought here is all mine!"

"You wouldn't want us dying in here and you finding no hope to return on your own do you?"

"Hmpf! Well… I suppose"

"great! Now, who's the nerd?"

The pretty boy said gesturing to the guy still staring around at the cage in awe.

Ginny glared at him before walking up to the book guy and tapping his shoulder. He turned and waved.

"Um, hello"

"Hi. I'm Ginny Weasley, that's Angela Turpin and Darren Johnson. What's your name?"

"Ah… I'm Joshua Shafiq. Call me Josh. Pleasure to meet you all"

"Well, I'm David Smith"

Pretty boy finally said and Ginny grimaced. Probably related to that git Zacharias.

"Now that that's over, can we make a plan of our journey? We've spent over 25 minutes here, achieving nothing and other teams quite possibly have begun their journey. I don't know you, but I want this job. I want to make it out with my head held high, so let's be a team worth being in"

Ginny finished and Angela smiled.

"You're really good at speeches too. Another trait of a good leader"

She said slyly and David huffed once more.

"Well, I have a plan"

Josh mumbled.

3 days after

"Ah! We made it!"

Darren groaned out as they stumbled out and into the middle of a desert.

They were met by Bogrod.

"Congratulations team. You were the 3rd group to make it out. Your portkey will be taking you back to the room, you will be met with my assistant who will give you a letter. It is the destination to the curse breakers academy where you will be properly trained for the next one month before your next mission. We do hope that before that mission, you'll all have bonded well enough. You may then go home after."

Their portkey immediately activated, dumping them in an empty room. Collecting their letter, they greeted each other on a job well done and promised to meet up tomorrow on time at the academy which started at exactly 5:30 am.

Ginny decided she really needed a bubble bath.
