Episode 234: Kairi's Little Angel
Just before we get started on this chapter, I just want to point out that nothing is going to happen since Sora and Kairi are going to be earning loads of fans who will ship and support them also to be invited to some advertising events to boost some publicity. They would refuse of course. So, to repeat myself, nothing bad is gonna happen and they won't even know who took the photo anyway. Also, Kairi will have her own Eevee, but it will not be evolving into anything. So, enjoy the fic!
A couple of days had passed since Kairi had won her third ribbon in Fallarbor Town and she is just one step closer to entering the Hoenn region's Grand Festival with two more ribbons to earn. As for Sora, he had to train for the upcoming Gym battle with the Gym Leader of the Lavaridge Town Gym.
Meanwhile, over to Porta Vista, Ventus was on his laptop to look up some things on Pokémon and trainers, mostly on Sora when he found something that caught his eye. He clicked on what interested him and he saw a picture of Sora and Kairi kissing. His almost popped out of his head when he saw it.
"No way! Sora! Kairi!" Ventus exclaimed. He went to his bedroom door and called out to his parents below. "Mom, dad! You should see this!" Danny and Cattleya came to their son's room to see what the fuss was about.
"What are you excited about, son?" Danny asked before Ventus showed them the photo of his cousin and his cousin's girlfriend kissing each other. Danny grinned a bit. "Oh, I see."
"Sora and Kairi," Cattleya said as she giggled. "I knew the whole world would know." She looked over the article and it showed on how Kairi had won her recent ribbon in Fallarbor Town.
"I wonder if Terra or Aqua has seen it yet," Danny said. Suddenly there came a knock on the door.
"I should go see who that is," Cattleya said as she exited the room. As she got to the door she saw Terra and Aqua standing on the doorstep. "Hello, Terra and Aqua. Have you come to see Ventus?"
"Yes," Aqua said.
"That and to see if he has seen this," Terra said, showing her the image on his smartphone.
"Actually we have," Cattleya said.
Up stairs, the phone rings and Danny went down to answer it.
"Hello?" Danny greeted.
"Boss, I know it's your day off, but we're going to need you down here because we are pretty short-handed here," Candy said over the phone.
"You sure?" Danny asked. "Who isn't there?"
Over to Danny's Bay of Burgers, the staff were completely overwhelmed by the increasing demands of the customers and the food wasn't being properly served. It was because of the absence of Big Earl.
"It's Big Earl. He's in the hospital. He was doing some housework before coming to work and he fell off the latter," Candy said. Back to the house, he puts on a concerned face.
"Is he okay?" Danny asked.
"He's fine, he just broke his leg. We're all going to visit him later, but we'll be needing you here. I'm sorry to put you through this, but we need help down here," Candy said.
"Okay, okay, I'll be right there," Danny said, hanging up. Cattleya had a concerned look on her face. Terra and Aqua were just heading up stairs to Ventus's room.
"What's the matter, dear?" Cattleya asked her husband.
"Candy and everyone else needs a hand down there. Big Earl's in the hospital; he got hurt in an accident," Danny explained.
"Poor Big Earl. Looks like we'll be lending a hand," Cattleya said. Danny knew how good a cook his wife is and welcomed her help since he was going to need it.
"Okay," Danny said. He called up to his son's room. "Ventus!" He came out of his room with Terra and Aqua.
"Yeah, dad?" Ventus asked.
"Your mom and I are going to the restaurant and we'll probably won't be home until later tonight, so be sure that you're in bed before then," Danny told his son.
"I will, dad," Ventus said.
"Terra, Aqua, you're in charge until then. Make sure he eats his vegetables. Also make sure he brushes his teeth and takes a bath," Cattleya added.
"He's in pretty good hands," Terra said.
"We'll see you until then," Aqua said. The parents left, just leaving Terra, Ventus, and Aqua alone in the house.
Meanwhile in Alola, Lillie was going over her recent research on what she found to be called Dynamax. It's a method that can only be accomplished in the Galar region as Pokémon would grow in a gigantic size.
"So, that's Dynamax, huh?" Lillie asked. She read and she found that it had occurred three thousand of years ago in an event in history that has been known as the Darkest Day in which an enormous black storm that covered all of the Galar region until Zacian and Zamazenta had defeated a Pokémon called Eternatus.
Zacian resembles a quadrupedal red and yellow eyed, azure and white fur-colored wolf-like creature with coral red markings, a coral red nose and lower jaw, small coral red wing blade-like fur, long matching colored braid-like fur bangs and a coral red tail in a triangle shape. Zacian has multiple scars and scratches all over its body and it's left ear is cut half clean off, likely a result of injuries it suffered from battles. Its azure fur also looks somewhat messy. But it wore a gold armor with wing-esque plates on its front legs, smaller plates on its hind legs, and a crown like helmet which covers up the broken ear, the coral red fur bangs become thicker and more slender, and the azure fur is cleaner. In this form Zacian carries a golden sword with azure and coral red colored gems on its mouth. Zamazenta resembles a quadrupedal red fur-colored wolf-like creature with a large shield-like mane and dark blue fur sticking out from the bottom of the mane, sticking upward on the frontal paws and pointing up on the head as a high ponytail. Zamazenta's body has several scars and scratches and it's right ear is half cut-off. Its mane is turned into a huge, gold shield with red highlights, as well as crown like texture on its head that covers the half cut-off ear. Its pony tail and tail are more neat now. It also has many scars and shaggy fur. The Pokémon known as Eternatus a long dragon-like Pokémon. Its body is bright translucent red, and covered in dark black spiked armor resembling an exoskeletal spine. Its hands are also long, thin three-pronged claws of the same material, and similarly, its feet are almost identical, despite a difference in size, and the end of its tail has wing-like appendages on its back. Its internal body can be seen as a long snake from its head to the tip of its tail. An image shows Eternatus had transformed into what resembles a long winding snake with a hand-like feature at its face consisting of five long clawing spikes of the same appearance that its original form is coated with."What is the Darkest Day and how and why did it occur?" She saw something that caught her eye; something called Gigantamax. Before she could look into it, Elio and Selene both came in.
"Lillie, there's something here I think you should see," Elio said.
"What?" Lillie asked. She got her answer when she saw the image of Sora and Kairi kissing. She smiled as she looked at the image. "Sora, Kairi. I'm glad that you're doing well."
"We just saw it and we thought we should show you," Selene said.
"And I do appreciate it," Lillie said.
All over Alola, Illima, Kiawe, Mallow, Lana, Sophocles, Acerola, Mina, and Hapu all saw the image and not one of them was surprised. They knew they were going to hear from him one way or the other. In Viridian City, Hayner had just gotten back from the Alola region and caught himself some new Pokémon to use.
"Sweet! A Mudsdale and a Palossand! These will do!" Hayner said. Ever since his defeat at Sora's hands, he left the Gym on a few occasions to search for some new Pokémon to battle with and he manages to get hold on some Ground Type Pokémon and have them learn certain moves to help out. He traveled to Johto and caught a Quagsire and had it learn Ice Punch and Ice Beam to counter Grass Types as he caught a Donphan and a Piloswine as well. The six Pokémon he had were good, but thought it would be a good idea to have some extra Pokémon handy. Pence and Olette both came in. "Anything happen while I was gone?"
"Only that you missed this," Pence said, showing the young Gym Leader an image of Sora and Kairi kissing. He grinned wickedly. That only earned him a glare from Olette.
"You better not be thinking about making fun of them," Olette said.
"Oh, never even thought of it," Hayner said, but she wasn't buying it. "Anyway, where was it taken?"
"Somewhere in the Hoenn region," Pence said.
"Hoenn?! That's where Pokémon like Camerupt and Claydol roam! Also Flygon and Whiscash live!"
"You have just gotten back from the Alola region and caught two Pokémon from their," Olette said.
"Also, you might have some challengers coming your way," Pence pointed out.
"Fine," Hayner rolled his eyes.
Meanwhile somewhere in Hoenn, Courtney of Team Magma was fiddling around on the social media and saw the image of Sora and Kairi's kiss and grinned.
"SoKai, huh? Got everybody in such a buzz. All over a kiss. Gotta say, they make a very cute couple," Courtney said.
In Team Rocket HQ, Genghis and Kahnnie were looking at the image of Sora and Kairi's kiss and used it to play some darts. Kahnnie threw a dart.
"Nice shot, Kahnnie," Genghis said.
"Thanks, Genghis. Twice we battled them and twice we lost to them. I would nothing more than to get back at them for the Slowpoke Well and Mahogany Town," Kahnnie said. "Also with all the times they humiliated Jessie and James."
"Yeah, things have been pretty boring here since they left somewhere. Nobody would tell us where and what they're up to," Genghis said.
"Did you even ask Matori or Napolean?" Kahnnie asked.
"I did, and they said it was none of my business. I am telling you, they know something. I can bet a million bucks that it's some kind of secret mission, so secret even the boss and the executives don't even know about it," Genghis said. Kahnnie scoffed.
"Really? Doesn't the boss know everything that happens here?" Kahnnie asked.
"I was just only guessing, Kahnnie," Genghis said.
"You think we're ever going to hear from them again?" Kahnnie asked her colleague.
"Hope so, Kahnnie. I hope so," Genghis said.
Over to Napolean and Matori, they were speaking in private.
"Gotta hand it to you, Matori, sending those idiots to Hoenn with that fasle mission was an even better idea than I thought. An good excuse to get rid of them," Napolean said.
"It was Rasputin who thought of it before his death. He would have convinced the boss some other excuse if he had survived his little accident," Matori said.
"Things haven't been the same since he died. He made me feel welcomed here after everything I've been through," Napolean said.
"He sure did. If Team Aqua or Team Magma doesn't do them in, the Hoenn authorities will," Matori said.
"Yeah, and there's also Team Galactic in Sinnoh, Team Plasma in Unova, and Team Flare in Kalos, how will we do with those guys?" Napolean asked.
"We can always ask for a piece of the pie along with Team Magma and Team Aqua, maybe the boss will maybe have a summit with them someday," Matori said.
"I hope it's a pretty big piece," Napolean said.
"Oh, we will have it; and at the end, they'll having nothing but our crumbs," Matori said as she and Napolean laughed.
Back in the Hoenn region, Sora, Kairi, and Pikachu continued on their way to Lavaridge Town for his upcoming Gym battle as he is approached by a trainer wearing swimming goggles.
"A strong looking Pokémon trainer, I have found! Now we have ourselves a Pokémon battle!" The trainer challenged, taking out a Great Ball. "We'll make it three-on-three! You accept my challenge?"
"I could use some excercise for my Gym battle," Sora said. He took out a Pokéball to battle.
"That's what I wanted to hear. Now, let's begin! Go! Zangoose!" The young man shouted as he let out a Zangoose that appears to be a tad stronger than Sora's. He took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Nuzleaf!" Sora called out as his Nuzleaf enters the battle.
"Zangoose! Start with Fury Cutter!" The trainer ordered. Zangoose comes at the wily Pokémon with its claws ready to swipe at him.
"Dodge and use Razor Leaf!" Sora ordered. Nuzleaf fires Razor Leaf and it struck Zangoose. "Now use Tackle!" Nuzleaf tackles into Zangoose.
"Don't take it laying down! Use Ice Punch!" The trainer ordered. Zangoose's fist emits ice and lands an icy punch onto the wily Pokémon. "Now use Fury Cutter!" Zangoose slashes into Nuzleaf, causing some heavy damage. Nuzleaf had been knocked out. Sora calls back Nuzleaf and his opponent calls back Zangoose. "Your Nuzleaf didn't even stand a chance against my Zangoose!"
"Battle's not over yet! I still have two left to use," Sora pointed out. He turned to his partner. "You up for it, Pikachu?"
"Pika!" Pikachu nodded. Pikachu entered the battle. His opponent took out a Dive Ball and threw it.
"It's your turn now, Buizlel!" The trainer called out as the Dive Ball opens and lets out a weasel-like Pokémon, with some traits that make it look less like an ordinary weasel. It has brownish-orange and bright yellow fur. It also has two tufts pointed away in the back of its head and has blue fins on the sides of its arms to use for swimming. Its mouth, stomach and the two small oval-shaped spots above its eyes are bright yellow, and four other oval-shaped spots are black and located on the sides on its cheeks. It has three fingers on its fore-paws, two fangs in its mouth, also short hind legs and long three-toed feet. The Pokémon has bright yellow paw pads undersides on its fore-paws and feet. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.
Buizel, the Sea Weasel Pokémon
Type: Water
It swims by rotating its two tails like a screw. When it dives, the flotation sac around its neck collapses. It inflates its flotation sac to float in the water and pokes its head out of the surface to see what is going on.
"A Water Type Pokémon against Pikachu? That Buizel must have some sort of tricks to use against Pikachu. Better play my cards right," Sora said to himself. "Pikachu! Quick Attack! Pikachu dashes towards the sea weasel Pokémon.
"Buizel! You use Quick Attack too!" The trainer ordered. Buizel dashed towards Pikachu and they have collided. "Use Water Pulse!"
"Block with Electro Ball!" Sora ordered. Pikachu forms a ball of electricity and hurls it right at Buizel's attack, resulting in an explosion.
"Aqua Jet!" The trainer ordered as Buizel torpedoes towards Pikachu, surrounded with water.
"Dodge with Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Pikachu ran and jumped and Buizel had missed him. "Now, use Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu fired Thunderbolt and it shocks the sea weasel Pokémon, causing some heavy damage and earned a knockout. He calls back his fallen Buizel.
"Not bad, kid. Now it's time for my third one! Your turn, Cacturne!" The trainer called out as a green Pokémon with green spikes surrounding its entire body. It also has yellow eyes with black marks surrounding it. It also has black dots making its mouth. It also appears to have a scarecrow hat. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.

The evolved form of Cacnea
Type: Grass/Dark
During the daytime, Cacturne remains unmoving so that it does not lose any moisture to the harsh desert sun. This Pokémon becomes active at night when the temperature drops.
"That is what Cacnea evolves into? Looks more like a cactus more than a scarecrow," Sora said. He took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Torchic!" Torchic enters the battle. His opponent smirks as he knew how predictable his choice was.
"So, it's a Fire Type Pokémon against my Cacturne, is it? Your Pikachu may have bested by Buizel, but your Torchic won't find it so easy. "Cacturne! Needle Arm!" Cacturne comes at Torchic with the spikes on its arms extending.
"Dodge with Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Torchic dodges Cacturne's attack by using his speed attack. "Now use Ember!" The chick Pokémon fires Ember right at Cacturne.
"Dodge it, Cacturne!" The trainer called out. Cacturne avoids Torchic's attack. "Use Dark Pulse!" Cacturne fires Dark Pulse and it struck too quickly for Sora to tell him to dodge it.
"Torchic! Flame Charge!" Sora ordered. Torchic ran towards Cacturne while engulfed in flames and lands a hit. Torchic's speed increased.
"Cacturne! Use Drain Punch!" The trainer ordered. Cacturne came at Torchic with its fist surrounded by an orb of green energy. Sora waited for Cacturne to get a little bit closer to Torchic. When Cacturne was close enough, he made his move.
"Dodge it!" Sora called out. Torchic avoids Cacturne's attack, just by jumping. "Now use Ember!" Torchic took in a deep breath and fired Flame Burst instead. Sora knew he had just learned to use it. Cacturne took a pretty bad hit from Torchic's Flame Burst. "Now use Flame Charge!" Torchic charges right Cacturne much faster than the first time and lands a hit, earning a knockout. The trainer was at a loss to see that he had lost two of three. Kairi was proud of her boyfriend since he had won it.
Unknown to any of them, a wild Eevee was watching from the shrubs. The Eevee has a heart-shaped tip at its tail. It was curious about the two humans. It followed the two of them . As they went forward, Sora took out his PokéNav to check their current position.
"So, where do we go to reach Lavaridge Town?" Kairi asked her boyfriend.
"According to the PokéNav, the way to get to Lavaridge Town is by going over Mount Chimney, and it isn't too far from here," Sora said.
"That's good to know. You think we should make a stop for a while, Sora? My feet are starting to hurt," Kairi said.
"Sure, Kairi. I'm in no hurry to get there," Sora said as his stomach starts growling. "And perfect timing because I'm starting to get hungry." Kairi giggled as they made their stop for their meal. The Eevee finally caught up with them and Pikachu's ears perk up as he turned around. The Eevee hides in the nearby shrubs, hoping not to be seen. Pikachu shook it off. Sora helped her make some soup for the two of them. Kairi had prepared some Pokémon food for the other Pokémon. The Eevee crept quietly, approaching them from behind and Kairi had spotted the wild Eevee. It froze in place.
"Hi there. Where did you come from?" Kairi asked.
"Eevee?" The Eevee asked.
"Are you hungry, sweety?" Kairi asked. The Eevee's stomach growled, confirming that it is hungry. "You can join us if you want." The Eevee's face lit up. Pikachu, Treecko, Torchic, Nuzleaf, Seviper, Zangoose, Plusle, Minun, Stufful, Feebas, Skitty, and Togedemaru were pleased to meet the Eevee and became fast friends quick. "Oh, look, Sora, she's popular already."
"Yeah, she sure is," Sora said.
Skitty became energetic and started to go for the Eevee's tail. She waed her tail and Skitty followed its movements. Kairi found it so very cute to see Skitty play with the Eevee. As soon as they finished eating, the Eevee played with Pikachu for a bit and the couple smiled as they were cleaning up. They were so happy that they had gotten along after just meeting each other.
"It's very cute, don't you think?" Kairi asked.
"Mm-hm. That Eevee is getting along with Pikachu so well," Sora said. He turned to his girlfriend and he took out his Pokédex. "You know, you can catch that Eevee if you want." She turned to her boyfriend.
"Are you sure, Sora?" Kairi asked.
"I'm sure. So, go for it," Sora said. Kairi smiled and she approached the Eevee. Sora hands her his Pokédex before then. She bent down to her.
"You can come with us, if you want to," Kaiir said, holding out a Pokéball. "What do you say?" The Eevee beamed at wanting to be with her new friends. The Eevee pressed the button and flows inside it. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokédex starts buzzing asking her if she wants to keep her Eevee or send her to Professor's Oak's lab. She chose to keep Eevee in exchange for Togedemaru. She lets out her new Eevee and she took out a pink ribbon and ties it around her neck. "Oh, don't you cute?" The little Eevee jumped into Kairi's arms and starts to lick her face affectionately. "Oh, you're such a little angel." It struck her as she thought of giving her a nickname. "That's it. I'll call you Angel. Do you like that?"
"Eevee!" The Eevee said, happily, liking the nickname.
"Then, Angel it is," Kairi said. She giggled as Angel liked her face some more. "Stop it, Angel. That tickles." She giggled some more as her new Eevee licked her face. Kairi calls Angel back into her Pokéball and they continued on their journey to reach Lavaridge Town by going over Mount Chimney, they spotted a Volbeat and Illumise. Sora handed her his Pokédex since he knew she could make a double catch. Kairi placed her boyfriend's Pokédex in one pocket and took out two Pokéballs to battle the two firefly Pokémon. "Okay! Angel! Skitty! Go!" She threw the Pokéballs and both of Angel and Skitty came out. Volbeat and Illumise saw the human trained Pokémon and they engaged them both. Volbeat and Illumise started off with a Tackle. "Angel! Skitty! Dodge and use your own Tackle!" Angel and Skitty avoided the firefly Pokémon's Tackle. Both landed a hit. "Skitty! Use Double Slap on Volbeat! Angel! Use Headbutt on Illumise!" Volbeat and Illumise responded with a Quick Attack, striking both of Angel and Skitty. "Angel! Use Swift! Skitty! Use Assist!" Angel fires Swift right at the firefly Pokémon and a white orb appears at Skitty's front paw and sends out Discharge from it, shocking Illumise. Kairi knew it had to come from either Plusle or Minun. "Skitty! Disarming Voice!" Skitty let out her sound attack and struck both of Volbeat and Illumise. Kairi took out two Pokéballs and threw them right at the firefly Pokémon, making them flow inside. The Pokéballs wobbles around for a few moments and then stars swirls around the Pokéballs confirming the catch. Sora's Pokédex starts buzzing asking her if she wants to keep Volbeat and Illumise with her. She chose to send them both to Professor Oak's lab. "Good work, you two." Angel and Skitty beamed at their trainer's praise. She hands it back to Sora as she also gave him a kiss on the lips and he kissed her back. They parted lips as Pikachu, Angel, and Skitty watched happily.
"Great catch as usual, Kairi," Sora said.
"Thanks Sora. Just as good as you, Sora," Kairi said, giving her boyfriend a loving hug. He hugs her back. Watching the scene is another couple hiking through the forest. They beamed at the sight of Sora and Kairi hugging.
"Isn't that sweet, Peter?" The girl asked.
"It sure is, Leslie," Peter said. "It reminds me of the two of us."
"It does," Leslie agreed. They approached Sora and Kairi. "Excuse us." They turned to see the other couple.
"Sorry to interuppt, but we were wondering if you would consider having a tag battle with us? That's if that's not too much trouble," Peter said.
"Not really," Sora said. "What do you say, Kairi? You in?"
"Sure," Kairi nodded.
"Excellent!" Peter and Leslie said. They both took out a Luxury Ball.
"Gor for it, Vigoroth!" Peter called out.
"I choose you, Altaria!" Leslie called out.
Out of the Luxury Balls came out a Vigoroth and a blue bird-like dragon Pokémon with a long, slender neck. It has two long feathers on it head. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.

Type: Dragon/Flying
Altaria sings in a gorgeous soprano. Its wings are like cotton clouds. This Pokémon catches updrafts with its buoyant wings and soars way up into the wild blue yonder.
Sora looked over to his partner as he puts his Pokédex away.
"How about it, Pikachu? You ready?" Sora asked his partner.
"Pika!" Pikachu said. Kairi calls back Skitty and decided to go with Angel.
"How about it, Angel? You ready for your first Pokémon battle?" Kairi asked.
"Vee," Angel said.
"Great," Kairi said, turning to her boyfriend. "You wanna start things off, Sora?"
"Nope. I think you should make the first move," Sora said. Peter and Leslie smiled.
"Look at that; being a gentleman," Leslie said.
"Talking about being considerate," Peter said. He turned to his girlfriend. "How about you and Altaria take the first move as well?"
"Thank you, Peter," Leslie said. Altaria! Begin with Dragon Breath!" Leslie ordered. Altaria fired Dragon Breath right at the two opposing Pokémon.
"Angel! Dodge with Quick Attack! " Kairi ordered.
"Pikachu! You use Quick Attack too!" Sora ordered.
Both of Pikachu and Angel avoids Altaria's Dragon Breath.
"Vigoroth! Use Slash!" Peter ordered. Vigoroth came at the smaller Pokémon to swing its claws.
"Iron Tail!" Sora called out. Pikachu swings his tail and blocks Vigoroth's Slash.
"Vigoroth! Use another Slash!" Peter ordered. Vigoroth swipes at Pikachu again.
"Angel! Swift!" Kairi ordered. Angel fires Swift and it struck Vigoroth's face.
"Altaria! Peck!" Leslie ordered. Altaria pecks at the little Eevee. "Now use Steel Wing!" Altaria struck Angel with Steel Wing.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu gave the humming Pokémon a shock, saving Angel as she stood on her feet.
"Vigoroth! Crush Claw!" Peter ordered. Vigoroth jumps to swipe at Pikachu.
"Angel! Headbutt!" Kairi ordered. Angel gave the wild monkey Pokémon a headbutt in the gut, making it wheeze. "Now use Tackle!" The Eevee gave Vigoroth a Tackle on the side.
"Alataria! Dragon Breath!" Leslie ordered. Altaria gave lets loose another Dragon Breath attack.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu blocks Alataria's Dragon Breath with his Thunderbolt, holding back. It went on until an explosion has occurred. Angel was caught in the explosion, but Pikachu catches her, making Angel's face flush pink. When the smoke cleared, Pikachu is still stanging, holding Angel in his arms. Alataria and Vigoroth were hurt pretty bad by the explosion. Angel looked right at Pikachu's face and he looked very handsome to her and her heart starts fluttering faster than a Beedrill's wings.
"Wow, what teamwork those two are displaying," Peter said with his eyes sparkling.
"The love they share is unparalleled," Leslie said.
"Pikachu! Electro Ball!" Sora ordered.
"Angel! Swift!" Kairi ordered.
Pikachu forms a ball of electricity and Eevee fires Swift and it collided with Swift. The stars runs acoss Pikachu's Electro Ball and it landed a hit onto both of Vigoroth and Altaria, earning a double knockout.
"We did it!" Sora and Kairi cheered. Sora embraces Kairi and spun her around. Pikachu shared their joy as Angel walked up to Pikachu. He was confused and she just nuzzled him on the cheek. Pikachu blushed, making his entire yellow coat red. Peter and Leslie walked up to Sora and Kairi with a smile.
"That was a great battle," Peter said.
"You two make a pretty good team," Leslie added.
"Thanks," Kairi said.
"We were thinking the same about you," Sora said.
They took their leave and headed towards Mount Chimney.
Meanwhile in Porta Vista, Terra, Ventus, and Aqua came to visit Big Earl in the hosptial as he laid down in bed with a cast. He smiled as he saw the boy.
"Venny. It's always a good day when you're around," Big Earl said.
"We're glad to see that you're okay, Big Earl," Ventus said.
"Hard to believe something like this would happen," Aqua said.
"Oh, it was bound to happen. My dad always said, every evtually falls off the ladder, despite how careful they are," Big Earl said. "By the way, heard anything from your cuz, Ven? How is he?"
"He's doing good. He already won some Gym badges in the Hoenn region since we last heard from him," Terra said.
"Also, he caught some Pokémon while he was down there," Ventus added.
"Figures as much. And I take it that girlfriend of his is with him," Big Earl guessed.
"She is," Aqua said.
She looks right at Terra and she wondered if there was a chance between her and Terra. Terra was wondering the same thing since they both had one thing in common; they both loved Ventus as a little brother neither one of them never had.
Over to Mount Chimney, Team Aqua have come in by a helicopter. Shelly and Matt come out leading several grunts.
"The meteorite is here somewhere," Shelly said.
"Search the area!" Matt shouted. The grunts began to search for any clues.
On another part of the mountain, another helicopter comes in and Team Magma comes out as they led by Tabitha and Courtney have stepped out.
"You sure it's around the mountain, Tabitha?" Courtney asked.
"It is. Those are what the rumors are saying. Besides, we're going to need an edge over Team Aqua," Tabitha said.
"Right," Courtney said. She turned to the grunts. "Why are you standing around? Get started on the search!" The grunts got to work on their search.
Team Magma and Team Aqua are in the same mountain and what is the meteorite they're looking for? Could it be for whatever they are planning? Just wait and see what comes next.
