Episode 241: Jirachi the Wish Maker

About a day had passed since Lisia has joined the group for a while. In the meantime, Sora decided to get some training done for his Gym battle with Norman. Sora decided to have a practice battle with May to help her out since she had one with Riku in the other day.

"Okay, May. Let's make this a double battle. And I won't pull my punches with you," Sora warned.

"I don't plan on losing, Sora," May said. Sora took out two Pokéballs and threw them.

"Whismur and Slakoth! Go!" Sora called out. Whismur and Slakoth both came out to battle. Slakoth slowly sways as he stood on his feet. "Your turn, May." May took out two of her Pokéballs and threw them.

"Torchic! Beautifly! Go!" May called out. Torchic and Beautifly enters the battle against Sora.

"Ladies first," Sora gestured.

"Thanks Sora. Torchic! Ember! Beautifly! Silver Wind!" May ordered. Torchic fires Ember and Beautifly flapped her wings and a silvery wind comes flashing.

"Whismur! Uproar!" Sora ordered. Whismur started to get worked up and created a sound barrier and blocked the attacks. "That was great, Whismur. Okay Slakoth! Use Scratch!" Slakoth swiped his claw at Torchic. Whismur kept going with Uproar, hurting Torchic and Beautifly.

"Beautifly! String Shot on Slakoth!" May ordered. Beautifly fired String Shot right at Slakoth and he gets caught in the string. "Move in with Tackle!" Beautifly dove at the sloth-like Pokémon, landing a hit. Whismur has finally managed to calm down.

"Okay, let's try that new move the both of you just learned. Mega Punch!" Sora ordered. Both Slakoth and Whismur both landed a powerful punch onto Torchic and Beautifly. May gasped when they both landed a punch. "Okay, Whismur! Use Echoed Voice!" Whismur vibrates his body and let's out a strong sound attack and it struck both Torchic and Beautifly and they fell to the ground.

"Wow, that was impressive, Sora," May said.

"Thanks. Now it's your turn!" Sora said.

"Right," May said, nodding. "Torchic! Peck on Slakoth! And Beautifly use Tackle!" Torchic and Beautifly charges at both of their opponents.

"Dodge it, guys!" Sora called out. Whismur grabs Slakoth and gives the slacker Pokémon a toss in the air before jumping himself.

"Whismur! Use Pound! Slakoth! Use Scratch!" Sora ordered. Whismur and Slakoth both landed their attacks on their opponents. Torchic and Beautifly fell to the ground again.

Both trainers and their Pokémon continued on. Sora could tell May was getting better in her battling skills. All of the Pokémon were getting exhausted. Kairi, Max, Angel, and Lisia were watching closely.

"Wow, he's even more impressive than I thought he was," Lisia said.

"Of course. Sora is no slouch when it comes to training," Kairi said.

"Eevee," Angel said. Before May could make the next move, Sora made the call.

"Timeout, May!" Sora said. "Our Pokémon are getting pooped and they should rest." May could see how tired her Torchic and Beautifly were getting.

"Good idea, Sora. I don't wanna push Torchic and Beautifly too hard," May said. She took out their Pokéballs and called back her Torchic and Beautifly.

"Gotta tell you, May, you're getting better. And I thought the battle with Riku did it," Sora said. May giggled a bit.

"I'm just happy that I was able to impress you," May said. Both trainers shook hands as they have concluded their battle.

Later that night, they made a stop to camp for the night. Lisia didn't mind camping out since she did her share of it during her own travels.

"Too dark to keep going to Rusturf Tunnel, so we'll have to set up camp here and set off in the morning," Sora said.

"Good, because I don't want to go into a dark cold cave at night because of Ghost Type Pokémon rumored to live there," May said.

"I'm sure there isn't any," Lisia assured.

"Even if there were, Sora and I know how to deal with them," Kairi said.

"You mean you dealt with Ghost Types before?" May asked, surprised.

"We have," Kairi said.

"And we should be okay as long there isn't any around here," Sora said.

"Pikachu," Pikachu said.

"Eevee," Angel said.

The Eevee wanted to sleep close to Pikachu, and he wanted to do the same, so they shared the same tent as Sora and Kairi. May and Max shared a tent with Lisia and all have fallen right to sleep. As they slept, they were completely undisturbed since there wasn't even a Gastly, a Duskull, a Misdreavus, or a Sableye to ruin the moment. But instead of a Ghost Type Pokémon, they were all waken up by a flashing light, coming down. They all came out of their tents.

"Whose light is on?" Sora asked.

"Not ours, I can tell you," May said, rubbing her eyes. Lisia saw something coming down really fast. It was a comet, covered in blue flames.

"Look out!" Lisia exclaimed as they all dove to the dirt. Sora landed on Kairi and Pikachu landed on Angel. May, Max, and Lisia simply ducked out of the way as the comet dove passed them.

"Whoa, what the heck was that?" Sora asked.

"Pika," Pikachu said.

"Um, Sora. Would you get off me, please?" Kairi asked. Sora looked down and saw he was on top of Kairi and chuckled nervously as he got up.

"Sorry, Kairi," Sora apologized.

"It's okay. Just don't plan on making it a regular thing with us," Kairi said.

"I'll try not to," Sora said. Lisia started to swoon at the romantic atmosphere in the air. Pikachu stood up, holding Angel in his arms.

"You okay, Angel? I didn't hurt you, did I? If I did, I'm sorry." - Pikachu subtitle.

"You didn't hurt me. I was just surprised when you dove on me. It was very sweet of you to make sure I'm safe." - Angel subtitle. Pikachu blushed a little. Angel thanked the mouse Pokémon by nuzzling him on the cheek.

They went to the crash sight to see what had landed so close to them. Sora went on ahead and the others trailed behind. May kept Max close since she worried it might be dangerous. Sora got closer to the crash and his eyes got wide when he saw something truly amazing.

"Guys! You gotta come over here and see this!" Sora called out. Kairi, May, Max, Lisia, Pikachu, and Angel all rushed to Sora's side and they were amazed by the sight they saw. It was a small creamy yellow and white Pokémon with small black eyes. Under its eyes, there are V-shaped markings that are light green. Its head is yellow and resembles a star, but with only three points. Hanging on those three points are three light green bands. It also has two wavy yellow strings streaming from behind it.

"Wow," Max said amazed.

"What is it?" May asked.

"I don't know, but it's really cute," Kairi cooed.

"I don't believe what I am seeing," Lisia said.

"What is it?" Sora asked.

"It's the legendary Pokémon Jirachi. My mother used to tell me stories about Jirachi when I was a little girl. It has been said Jirachi has the power to grant wishes," Lisia explained.

"Jirachi?" May asked.

"A Pokémon that can grant wishes?" Sora asked. He took out his Pokédex and scanned the new Pokémon.

Jirachi, the Wish Pokémon

Type: Steel/Psychic

It's believed that when this Pokémon wakes from its 1,000-year slumber, it will grant any wishes written on the notes attached to its head. It has been said that this Pokémon is to be awaken by the singing of a pure voice.

"Pure voice, huh?" Sora asked.

"Only one way to see if it's true or not," Kairi said.

"How?" Kairi asked.

Kairi took Jirachi in her arms and she began to sing the song she sang to Togepi as a lullaby.

(Kairi)

When you walk away

You don't hear me say,

"Please, oh baby, don't go."

Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight

It's hard to let it go

You're giving me too many things

Lately, you're all I need.

You smiled at me and said,

Don't get me wrong, I love you,

But does that mean I have to meet your father?

When we are older you'll understand

What I meant when I said,

No, I don't think life is quite that simple.

When you walk away

You don't hear me say,

"Please, oh baby, don't go."

Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight

It's hard to let it go

So simple and clean

The daily things

like this and that and what is what

That keep us all busy are confusing me

That's when you came to me and said,

"Wish I could prove I love you,

But does that mean I have to walk on water?"

When we are older you'll understand

It's enough when I say so

And maybe some things are that simple

When you walk away

You don't hear me say,

"Please, oh baby, don't go."

Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight

It's hard to let it go

Hold me

Whatever lies beyond this morning

Is a little later on

Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all

Nothing's like before

When you walk away

You don't hear me say,

"Please, oh baby, don't go."

Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight

It's hard to let it go

Hold me

Whatever lies beyond this morning

Is a little later on

Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all

Nothing's like before

Hold me

Whatever lies beyond this morningIs a little later on

Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all

Nothing's like before

May, Max, and Lisia were astounded by how beautiful Kairi sang and it brought Sora to tears having to hear it again. Jirachi started stirring awake.

"Wow. A skillful Pokémon Coordinator, a great cook and also a beautiful singer. So awesome," May said, astounded.

"Such a beautiful song," Lisia said. "Just what was that song, Kairi?"

"It was a song my mom and grandma used to sing to me when I was a baby," Kairi said. Jirachi opened its eyes. "Hello there, sleepy head."

"First a Regirock and now a Jirachi, so cool," Max said.

"It's very nice to meet you, Jirachi," Kairi said. Jirachi smiled as it looked right at Kairi. Jirachi looked around and smiled at the new faces. "We're all your friends. My name is Kairi."

"I'm Sora."

"My name's May."

"Hi Jirachi, I'm Max."

"And I'm Lisia."

"Pikachu," Pikachu said.

"Eevee," Angel said.

Jirachi floated out of Kairi's arms and it observed them individually. Jirachi has found each one of them to its liking. Jirachi especially liked Sora for his spiky-hair. His hair wasn't anything it had seen before.

"Looks like Jirachi likes you, Sora," Lisia said.

"I have to agree with her," May said.

Jirachi played with Sora's hair for a bit.

"As much as I appreciate that you like my hair, but we have some sleep to go back to," Sora said. With such perfect timing, Jirachi yawned and started to fall asleep. "For a Psychic Type Pokémon, it can be such a mind reader."

"Jirachi isn't the only one who's feeling sleepy, because I wanna fall back asleep on my pillow," May said, yawning.

With that said, they all fell back to sleep in their tents and started to resume their dreaming. On the very next morning, everyone all woke up bright and early. Jirachi looked at the Pokémon that were present.

"Everyone, this is Jirachi. Jirachi, these are our Pokémon. They're your new friends too," Sora said. "Pikachu and Angel you already met, so here are the rest. So, here are the rest. Treecko, Charjabug, Slakoth, Whismur, and this Kirlia are with me. Plusle, Minun, Morelull, this Kirlia, and this Skitty are with Kairi. Ali is Lisia's partner and these three are with May."

The other Pokémon greeted the wish Pokémon and let them get acquainted with each other. Sora joined up with the others to go over Jirachi's wish granted abilities.

"So, what do you think we should wish for?" May asked.

"Not in the foggiest idea," Sora said.

"You mean, you haven't thought what to wish for, Sora?" Lisia asked.

"Well, for starters, I wouldn't know what to wish for in the first place since I already knew what I wanted," Sora stated. He looked at Kairi and he knew he wanted to always be with her; forever if possible. "Also, we should be careful about what to wish for."

"What could go wrong, Sora?" May asked.

"Say, what if you wish for something like, make me a princess and it'll literally make you one instead of having you a princess," Sora said.

"So, you're saying we should be very specific about our wishes, is that it?" Lisia asked.

"Makes sense to me. There's also some bad people out there who would exploit Jirachi, granting them any wish they want. Like for example, to rule the world and everything in it," Kairi pointed out.

"And that's all kinds of bad," Sora said.

"And adding into that, when people see it, they might start making wishes from left to right, fighting over Jirachi," Kairi said. Sora knew she was right since there are people would get greedy with their wishes.

"Bad times two," Sora said.

"I can understand what you mean. Those people will be happy, but Jirachi will only be miserable," Lisia said.

"And that's why we should be careful about making our wishes and we shouldn't be exploiting Jirachi for our selfish needs," Sora said.

"Right," the group all agreed.

"But, the question is, who's going to make the first wish?" Lisia asked. Max finally spoke up.

"I'll give it a go!" Max volunteered. "I know exactly what to wish for."

"Okay. Nothing too big," Sora said.

Max went up to Jirachi as it was playing with the two Skitty.

"Hi Jirachi. Is it true you can grant wishes?" Max asked. Jirachi raised a brow. "I wish for lots and lots of candy!" Jirachi's bands starts giving a rainbow glow. "I knew it. There is no such thing as a being that grant wishes." He adjusted his glasses. "But it was worth a shot." Suddenly, a chocolate bar appeared in his hands. The older kids were having different conversations when Sora suddenly felt something.

"Huh?" Sora asked. He pulled out a pack of bubblegum from his side. "Where did this come from?"

"You sure you didn't get that from somewhere?" Kairi asked.

"I'm sure," Sora said. More candy started to rain out from the sky. "What the?!" May and Lisia were in shock when different snack products fell out from the sky.

"Where did all this candy come from?" May asked.

"Max! Please tell this is natural!" Sora called out to him.

"No, it's my wish! I wished for lots and lots of candy and I got it!" Max said as more candy fell from the sky.

Over to a nearby town in a candy store, the entire inventory of candy was vanishing from left to right.

"Oh no! My candy! My candy is vanishing!" The clerk cried.

Elsewhere in town, Moe, Larry, and Curly were walking downtown as Curly took out a candy bar and attempted to open it, oblivious to it vanishing. Curly ended up biting his own thumb.

"Oh!" Curly cried as the candy bar had vanished from his hand. He shrugs his shoulders and took out another one and that disappears too. "HM!" He ran his hand down his face. He took out one more and it disappears before his eyes. "HM! RUFF! RUFF!" Moe noticed.

"Hey great dane, what's eating you?" Moe asked.

"My candy keeps vanishing," Curly said.

"You're crazy, candy don't vanish," Moe said.

"Well, mine just did," Curly said. Moe smacks him in his face. "What's the idea?"

"For making up a tall tale," Moe said.

"But it's true. I took out my candy, like so," Curly said, taking out another one, "and it disappears," the candy bar vanishes, freaking out Moe and Larry, "and when I tried to take a bite, I bit my thumb." Curly bit his thumb unaware that it vanished. "Oh! See?" Larry takes Moe by the arm.

"Maybe the tooth fairy means business or he's haunted," Larry whispered.

"You have something there," Moe said. Curly tried to get out another one, but it turns out every piece of candy had vanished.

"Hey fellas! My entire stock is gone!" Curly exclaimed.

Back over to Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, May, Max, and Lisia, candy kept pouring down.

"Max, make it stop!" May told her brother and the candy stopped falling.

"That's telling him," Sora said.

"Yay! I got my wish!" Max cheered happily.

"Now that's a lot of candy," Kairi pointed out.

"I would say enough candy to satisfy a Munchlax's sweet tooth," Sora said.

"Pika," Pikachu said.

"Eevee," Angel said.

"Just, where did it come from?" Lisia asked. Sora noticed something on the sugary products and picked one up. He saw there was a price tag on it.

"I think these came from a store," Sora said, his face turning pale white. Kairi wanted to know what he meant and she saw the price tag on it and her face turned pale as well.

"Uh-oh," Kairi said.

"What's uh-oh?" Lisia asked. Sora didn't answer, so he just handed it to the Contest Idol and she shared the pale complexion on her face. "Uh-oh is right."

"All this candy all came from a store or somewhere else," Sora said.

"This cannot be good," Kairi said. May started to get mad at her little brother.

"Max, this is all your fault! You and your stupid candy wish!" May chided Max.

"All I did was make a wish," Max said.

"Don't be so hard on him. He didn't know it would happen. None of us knew it would happen," Lisia said.

"Something we should know about Jirachi?" Sora asked.

"If I remember right, Jirachi has the ability to teleport things," Lisia said.

"So, we should have Jirachi teleport the candy back," Kairi said.

"It's worth a shot," May said. She peered to the wish Pokémon. "Okay Jirachi, get rid of the problem!" Jirachi tilted its head and teleported May, making the group jump.

"May!" Sora and Kairi exclaimed.

"What did you do with my sister?" Max asked.

"Help! Someone help!" May called while muffled. "Get me out of here!" May's legs dangled upwards.

"Hold on, May! We're coming!" Sora said as he and Kairi climbed up the pile of candy and pulled her out.

"Thanks, I thought I was a goner," May said.

"This is what I meant by being specific," Sora said. He turned to Jirachi. "Jirachi, put back all the candy where it came from." Jirachi's bands glowed once again and teleported all of the candy back to wence they came.

"I'm ruined! I'm ruined! I'm bankrupted! I'm finished! I'm-" his sentence was cut when all of the candy reappeared in his store and fell right on him. He emerged from the bottom

"-in need of a vacation." The clerk clearly had no idea what just happened nor will he.

Moe, Larry, and Curly were at a dissary when his candy suddenly came falling from the sky and fell right on them. Moe glared right at Curly.

"This is all your fault!" Moe hissed, before smacking him on the forehead.

"Leave 'im alone!" Larry told Moe. Moe grabs Larry by the hair.

"What're you butting in for?" Moe asked, pulling hard. He slaps them both.

Back with Sora and his friends, they were relieved to see that the candy had been taken back to wherever Jirachi had taken all of it.

"Okay, so now we know Jirachi can make teleport things when we make a wish," Sora said.

"You were right about being careful with making wishes since Jirachi can do that when we're not careful," May said.

"And it's a good thing we had it sent it back, because we will have a really hard time explaining how it all got here in the first place," Sora said.

"Pikachu," Pikachu said.

"And we wouldn't be able to able to carry all that candy. Also, our families wouldn't like it if we all ended up with cavities," Kairi added.

"Eevee," Angel said.

"I don't know about you, but all this talk about candy is making me hungry. We didn't even have our breakfast yet," Lisia said.

"You're right. We should get started on that," May said.

With that said, Sora and Kairi both got started making breakfast for everyone. It turned out to be a pancake breakfast. May, Max, and Lisia loved how it turned out.

"Wow, this is great. This is even better than the pancakes room service gives me," Lisia complimented.

"Thank you, Lisia. Glad that you are enjoying it so much," Kairi said.

"So light," May said.

As they ate, Lisia had a question she wanted to ask Sora. It was regarding his necklace. She wondered if Sora is descended from royalty since it was in shape of a crown.

"Hey Sora," Lisia spoke up.

"Hm?" Sora asked after taking a bite of his pancake.

"I was wondering why you're always wearing that necklace," Lisia said.

"Oh this?" Sora asked, placing his hand on his necklace. "I had this necklace for as long I can remember." Max took a look at Sora's necklace as well.

"I didn't even notice it until now," Max pointed out.

"Is there something special about that necklace or something?" Lisia asked curiously.

"There is actually. It's a symbol of knighthood," Kairi said.

"Knighthood?" Max asked.

"You mean you're descended from knights?" Lisia asked, intrigued.

"A long line of knights," Sora said. "When I was a little kid, my mom told me this. All of the boys in my family all had one just like this one and they were viewed as knights in the eyes of the people in the olden days."

"Really? So cool?" Max said.

"It actually belonged to his dad. I know about it because Sora and Kairi already told me and Brendan about it," May said.

Lisia was moved by the fact Sora had such a heritage. She knew Kairi was a very lucky girl to have a knight in shining armor like Sora. Max was envious and stoked since this is the first time he had ever heard it.

Not too far, a man with brown hair and violet eyes was watching from his binoculars. The man wore a white suit with white shoes. He had targeted Jirachi along with Pikachu, Angel, and the other Pokémon.

"Incredible! So, it is true! It is indeed the legendary Pokémon Jirachi! It DOES exist! If I am dreaming, then do NOT wake me up!" The man exclaimed with glee. He begins to clap his hands like a laughing baby. "Jirachi can grant me any wish that I want! But wait! What shoud I wish for? Also, Jirachi can only teleport things, so it'll be impossible to rule the world; I mean, I might end up getting a globe instead of literally the world. But I'm not interested in world domaniation, so I should wish for something else." He thought for a moment. "Hm, what to wish for, what to for..." He thought some more and then he got an idea. "I got it! I can wish to have Jirachi teleport me as many money as I can get my mitts on!" He chuckled wickedly. "Oh, I'll have so much money, in fact, I'll have more than I can possibly count! I'll be literally the richest man in the world! Oh yeah-yeah!" He chuckled again. "Now, I just have to make my plan of action!"

Back to the group, Jirachi was having fun playing with Max and the Pokémon while the older kids cleaned up the mess they made. Jirachi takes Max's glasses.

"Hey! Those are my glasses!" Max said, laughing. The man was waited long enough for them to be distracted and took out a Dusk Ball and threw it.

"Let's go, Absol!" The man called out. The Dusk Ball opens and unleashes a white Pokémon that has a dark blue face with a short, cat-like muzzle, a small, black, triangular nose, a scythe-like tail, and sickle-shaped growth on the right side of its head. It also has an oval marking on the top of its head. "Get that Jirachi, Absol! And take out the other Pokémon if they get in your way!" Absol obeyed and went towards Max and the Pokémon. Absol fired a blade of air. It struck right in front of Max's feet, making him yelp. This caught the attention of the older kids.

"What was that?" Max asked. Pikachu's ears perked up and Angel smelled something. They spotted the white Pokémon.

"PIKA!" Pikachu shouted.

"EEVEE!" Angel also called out.

They ran towards Max and their Pokémon.

"Max!" May cried and she took her brother in her arms. "Max, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, May," Max said. Sora, Kairi, and Lisia wondered what had happened and they spotted Absol coming right towards them. Absol stops right in front of them.

"What is that?" Sora asked. Lisia started to become afraid.

"Oh no! It's an Absol!" Lisia exclaimed.

"Absol?" Sora asked, taking out his Pokédex.

Absol, the Disaster Pokémon

Type: Dark

Long ago, superstitions were spread about it, saying it brought disaster. This fed a hatred of it, and it was driven deep into the mountains. Although it's said to bring disaster, in actuality, this Pokémon possesses a calm disposition and warns people of any crises that loom.

"The Disaster Pokémon?" Sora asked, putting his Pokédex away.

"I don't think it's here to warn us," Lisia pointed out.

"Why's that?" Sora asked. He got his answer when Absol leapt towards Jirachi. "Pikachu! Quick Attack!" Pikachu dashed right at the disater Pokémon. "Now use Iron Tail!" Pikachu swings his tail right at Absol, landing a hit. Absol swiped its claws right at Pikachu.

"Angel! Plusle! Minun! Quick Attack!" Kairi ordered. Angel, Plusle, and Minun dashed right at Absol and all three landed a hit. Absol glared at the four Pokémon and they glared back at it.

"Absol! Double Team!" The man called out and made several images of itself.

"I don't think so! Angel! Swift!" Kairi ordered. Angel fired Swift at all of the Absol and none of them were real. Kairi was shocked to see none of them were real. "Where did he go?" She got her answer when the real Absol snatched Jirachi from behind. Jirachi started to cry out.

"Jirachi!" Max exclaimed. Absol's trainer came and took Jirachi and placed it in a cage.

"Hey! Let Jirachi go!" Sora demanded.

"And why would I wanna do that? Especially when Jirachi is going to make me filthy stinking rich!" The man stated as he laughed.

"You're going to sell Jirachi to the highest bidder?!" Kairi exclaimed.

"Oh no, no. Jirachi is far too valuable for that. I plan to wish that I get to have all the money I want. I can rob everyone blind and no one will even see me!" The man said, laughing.

"Just who is this guy?" Sora asked.

"I heard of that guy before! It is the White Bandit!" Lisia recognized.

"Who?" Sora asked.

"The White Bandit is a master criminal who has an Absol as his partner in crime. I heard he would do just about anything to get whatever he wants; even exploit a Pokémon for his own selfish desires," Lisia explained. "I never seen him up close, but I have seen his picture on some wanted posters."

"It would seem that my reputation proceeds me," the White Bandit said, full of himself.

"Give Jirachi back or else you'll be in so much trouble," Kairi said.

"I don't think so! I could wish to have Jirachi send you to a volcano, but that'll be a waste of a wish. Instead, I'll do this! Absol! Razor Wind onto the ground!" The White Bandit ordered. Absol fired Razor Wind at the dirt, creating a dust cloud. When it cleared, the White Bandit and his Absol had already escaped.

"He's gone!" May exclaimed.

"He's not gonna get away with this!" Sora stated.

Not too far, the White Bandit and his Absol ran through the woods with the encaged Jirachi in his possession. He laughs as he ran.

"This is much easier than taking candy from a Togepi!" The White Bandit gloated. "Now to have my dreams come true!" He laughs some more.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket had finally found some members of Team Aqua in the area.

"Stop me if I'm obvious, but I'm gonna guess that's Team Aqua," James said.

"Either that, or they look like they're cosplaying as sailors," Meowth said.

"This is great! We should make our report to HQ," Jessie said.

"Shouldn't we see what they're up to first? I mean the boss'll ask what they were planning first," Meowth pointed out.

"He's right, Jess. He might think we were lying about our lead if we haven'r found out about Team Aqua," James said.

"I guess," Jessie said.

Jessie and James tried to forget about that one night, but they just couldn't. Meowth was still in the dark since they were acting very weird. He noticed a few things, like Jessie was actually sharing with James a few times. SHARING! That was very strange to see.

They got close to the Team Aqua members and they placed a microphone in a nearby bush to hear what they're talking about.

"Also, how do we even know if the Blue Orb even exists?" One of the grunts asked.

"That's what the higer-ups are talking about. It's been said that the Blue Orb can control Kyogre. Whoever controls Kyogre, controls the ocean itself," the second grunt said.

"Control the ocean? What are they talking about?" Jessie asked.

"And what's this about a Blue Orb?" James asked.

"Who cares? Let's keep listening," Meowth said. And they did.

"Kyogre is the our ticket to bury the land into the sea and we will be the ones to rule it," the third grunt said.

"Rule it through Kyogre," all three Grunts said.

"Kyogre?" James asked.

"Isn't Kyogre one of those legendary Pokémon here in Hoenn?" Jessie asked.

"Let's make our report now!" Meowth said.

"Right," Jessie and James nodded. They blushed and turned away. Meowth activates their communicator and Giovanni answers it.

"What is it?" Giovanni asked, a little annoyed.

"Mr. Giovanni sir! We have heard from some Team Aqua members about obtaining the legendary Pokémon Kyogre," Jessie said.

"And what of Team Magma?" Giovanni asked. The faces of Jessie, James, and Meowth all turned pale and regained their proper coloring as they answered.

"We haven't found any leads on Team Magma as of yet," James said.

"And soon as we do," Jessie started.

"You will be the first to know," Meowth finished.

"See that you do. AND DON'T YOU DARE BLOW IT!" Giovanni yelled before breaking contact.

"Yes sir," Jessie, James, and Meowth said.

"Now that we have some intel on Team Aqua, we should go see what does Team Magma has planned," Meowth said.

"How right you are," Jessie agreed.

"Let's go!" James said as he trips and lands on top of Jessie. They gaze into each other for a moment and quickly got up. "Sorry Jess."

"I-I-It's okay," Jessie said. They both ended up blushing.

"What the hell is going on?" Meowth asked. Wobbufett pops out.

"Wobbu, Wobbu!" Wobbufett said.

Back to the White Bandit, he made certain that he was alone and he chuckled.

"This is good a spot as any," the White Bandit said. He looked right at Jirachi. "Okay Jirachi. I wish for lots and lots of money!" Jirachi's bands begins glowing and suddenly, loads of money starts falling down from the sky the same way as the candy from earlier. Ali and Beautifly flew through the trees and they saw the glow. They flew back to make the report. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Lisia, May, and Max walked through the woods to find the White Bandit and rescue Jirachi.

"Hope Jirachi is all right," Max said.

"Jirachi will be fine. Nothing bad will happen to it," Sora assured him.

"When we get the White Bandit, we'll teach him a lesson he won't forget," Kairi said. WIth that Ali and Beautifly came back to make their report.

"Ali, did you find him?" Lisia asked. Ali nodded.

"Lead the way," Lisia instructed. Ali and Beautifly led the group to where they saw the glow. Back to the White Bandit, he celebrates like a kid on Christmas as the money has come raining down.

"I'm rich! I'm rich!" The White Bandt exclaimed.

Over to a nearby town, all of the money was vanishing from left to right. The entire town was going broke as the money was vanishing from the wallets, pockets, banks, and from a charity run. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Lisia, May, and Max finally caught up as Ali and Beautifly had finally caught up.

"There he is!" May said.

"Now we got him," Sora said.

"Oh, so much money, I don't know what to spend it on!" The White Bandit said.

"You're not spending it on anything!" Sora stated. He turned to see the group before them.

"You again!" The White Bandit exclaimed. "Maybe I should have wished you all to a volcano after all."

"Pikachu! Use Quick Attack on the cage now!" Sora ordered. Pikachu dashes towards the White Bandit.

"Absol, stop Pikachu!" The White Bandit ordered. Absol started to charge at Pikachu with his claws out, intent on keeping Pikachu from reaching Jirachi. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it.

"Morelull! Go!" Kairi called out. Morelull comes out from her Pokéball and awaits instructions from Kairi. "Use Mega Drain!" Morelull attaches herself to Absol and starts to sap out Absol's stamina. Morelull's roots glows green.

"Shake it off!" The White Bandit shouted. Absol tries to shake off, but she held on tight, draining at Absol's stamina. Pikachu got to the cage and takes it. "Why you!" Pikachu remembered he can make a wish, but he would wish Jirachi out of the cage. He had to give it a shot.

"I wish that the cage you're in is on the moon!" - Pikachu subtitle. Jirachi nodded and its bands glows as the cage around the wish Pokémon vanishes. Up on the moon, the cage appears and it floats into space. Jirachi floats back to the group. Morelull jumps off and heads back to her trainer.

"Jirachi!" Max said.

"Thank goodness, it's safe," May said.

"Good work, Pikachu," Sora praised his partner.

"Pika!" Pikachu said.

"You meddlesome brats!" The White Bandit growled. "I still had wishes to make!"

"You mean to exploit poor Jirachi for your own greed and selfishness? Jirachi isn't something you can just use whenever you want!" Kairi said.

"She's right! The idea of exploiting Pokémon for your personal gain is unforgivable! The same can be said for having a Pokémon helping you committing crimes!" Lisia said.

"Spare me the lecture! I'm going to get that Jirachi and when I do, I'm going to wish you all to a black hole!" The White Bandit threatened. He takes out another Dusk Ball and threw it. "Obstagoon! Go get 'em!" The Dusk Ball opens and unleashes a humanoid mammalian Pokémon that resembles a badger. Its fur is mostly black and white with grey tufts covering its ankles, forearms, and back. The latter resembles a vest.

"What the?!" Sora exclaimed.

"It's an Obstagoon!" Max exclaimed.

"Obstagoon?" Sora asked, taking out his Pokédex.

Obstagoon, the Blocking Pokémon

The evolved form of Linoone Galarian Form

Type: Dark/Normal

Its voice is staggering in volume. Obstagoon has a tendency to take on a threatening posture and shout—this move is known as Obstruct. While crossing its arms, it lets out a shout that would make any opponent flinch.

"It evolved from a Galarian Linoone? Another exclusive evolved Pokémon," Sora said, putting his Pokédex away. He looked at his partner. "Go get it Pikachu."

"Chu," Pikachu said and started to run towards the blocking Pokémon.

"Obstruct!" The White Bandit ordered. Obstagoon keeps its arms crossed and a black x appears and Pikachu bounces off of it. "Now use Fire Punch!" Obstagoon lands a burning punch onto Pikachu. Angel rushes over to Pikachu. "Now finish them off with Hyper Beam!" Obstagoon fires Hyper Beam right at Pikachu and Angel. Jirachi's bands glows and forms a protective barrier around Pikachu and Angel.

"Whoa! Did you see that?" Max asked.

"Jirachi saved them by using Safeguard!" Lisia said. Jirachi's body starts to glow silver to charge the attack. Then, it starts to glow a very bright light and it flies up and raises Obstagoon into the air and it leaves behind a streak of white light, like a comet. It then lets off pulses of a multitude of colors and soars farther into the sky. Once it was high enough, it lets off an explosion. Finally, a meteor shower is released from the explosion. Everyone was astounded by what they witnessed as the White Bandit was horrified by the sight. Obstagoon fell and landed on top of the master criminal with swirls at its eyes and stars running around its head. Jirachi floated down to the ground.

"What just happened?" May asked.

"I don't know, but it was really epic," Sora said.

"I think that was an attack Jirachi just used," Max said.

"You're right, Max. That attack we just saw is known as Doom Desire. It was even more beautiful than I thought," Lisia said.

"I find it hard to believe something so small could pack an attack that powerful," Sora said. Kairi went and picked up Jirachi in her arms.

"You think Jirachi can send this back?" Kairi asked.

"How about we wish it back?" May suggested.

"Good idea," Sora agreed. "Kairi, won't you do the honors?"

"It will be a pleasure, Sora," Kairi said. "I wish to have the money sent back." Jirachi's bands glows again and all of the money went back into the town.

The townspeople were rejoicing to see that the money has come back.

"I'm not sure what just happened, but I'm glad it is over," one man said. Back to the group.

"Now, send this man away," Kairi wished. Jirachi's bands glows as the White Bandit and his Pokémon had vanished. He ends up right in the police station where Officer Jenny just slaps the handcuffs on his wrists.

"Oh, this can't be good," the White Bandit groaned. The group made it back to camp and packed up and to prepare to head to Petalburg City.

"Now Jirachi is safe, we should get going," May said.

"No, not yet," Kairi said. They all looked at her.

"Why not? What now?" May groaned.

"Because we have to make sure Jirachi stays safe," Kairi said.

"What do you mean, Kairi? Jirachi is safe with us, right?" Max asked.

"Yes and no. Yes because we just saved it. And no because Jirachi will be in constant danger if it stays with us," Kairi reasoned.

"You mean, someone like the White Bandit would make another attempt to steal Jirachi and misuse its wish granting abilities?" Lisia asked. Kairi nodded. "I thought as much."

"She's right though. It's not just the White Bandit that I'm worried about. It's also some other bad guys like Team Rocket and Mad Ivan. If they learn about Jirachi being with us, they will try to take it," Sora said.

"Pikachu," Pikachu agreed.

"Eevee," Angel also agreed.

"What are you suggesting? We can't just leave Jirachi out here all alone," May said.

"I didn't say we were going to leave it here," Kairi said. May and Max blinked twice. "We could just send Jirachi back to where it came from. Back home."

"How?" Max asked.

"I think I know how. And it'll be the last wish that will be made," Sora said. Kairi hands her boyfriend the wish Pokémon and it looked at him. "Jirachi, before we send you back, I just want to say that it was fun meeting you. But bad people like that guy will be hunting you down for as long you're here, so we want to keep you safe from that." Jirachi began to cry. "I don't want to say goodbye either, but it's the only way. Just don't forget about us, okay?" Jirachi nodded as it continues to cry. Jirachi floated above the group, having one last look at its friends. "Jirachi," Sora started, "I wish for you to go home and live happily." With that said, Jirachi's bands glows and teleported away. "Goodbye Jirachi. Take care of yourself."

"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said. He wraps his arm around Angel and she snuggles against him. Sora did the same with Kairi and she gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"I think you did the right thing," Kairi said. Sora smiled as he agreed.

With that settled, they continued onwards to their destination.

"You know, Sora, I was thinking," Max spoke up.

"What?" Sora asked, curious about what he has to say.

"What would you wished for? I mean other than the wish you used to send Jirachi back home, I mean?" Max asked. Sora just laughed.

"To be honest, I'm not really sure," Sora said. Max was stunned to hear him say that.

"Not sure? How could not be sure?" Max asked.

"Well, I wasn't what I would wish for after having what I already have," Sora said.

"What do you already have?" Max asked.

"I have Kairi and my Pokémon, so what more do I need?" Sora asked rhetorically. Max seems to understand a little. "Kairi's more than my girlfriend; she's my best friend. Just like Pikachu."

"You sound just like my dad just now," Max said.

"How so?" Sora asked.

"My dad says the same thing about my mom. My mom is my dad's best friend," Max said. Sora smiled since he knows how that feels. "You think you and Kairi are gonna get married someday?"

"Slow down there, kiddo. I just have to wait until I'm old enough first," Sora said, giving Max a noogie. He laughs at the gesture. Pikachu looked at Angel and he smiles. He wanted to tell how he feels about her and soon.

Over in outer space, Jirachi is cruising through the cosmos and having a delightful time. Several other Jirachi appear and start playing with the newcomer. It did think about the new friends it made during a short stay on Earth, but the wish Pokémon wished that it would see them again someday.
