Episode 251: Nothing Like A Good Shuppet Show
A couple of days have passed since Sora's Taillow evolved into a Swellow and winning the Pokéringer Competition in Crossgate Town. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel were enjoying a lunch break making a stop in the woods.
"There's plenty if you want seconds," Kairi said. The couple's Pokémon all cheered having to hear it.
"I'm down with that, Kairi," Sora said, wolfing down his bowl of soup.
"Sora, you're going to have a stomachache if you keep it up," Kairi said. "You remember what happened last week when you ended up with the hiccups? That lasted for three hours."
"That was nothing, Kairi. It's always worth it," Sora said, eating some more. Once the meal was done, he ended up having a stomachache, just like Kairi warned him. Sora moans as he hed his stomach. "My stomach hurts."
"I warned you, Sora. Honestly Sora, you're worst than a little kid," Kairi said.
"I won't eat that fast again," Sora said.
"You said that the last time. And also the time before that," Kairi said. "And don't you say that you mean it because you said that too, in case you forgot."
"I can't help it that everything you make is tasty, Kairi. And I did say it's always worth it," Sora said. He gave off a small burp.
"The least you can do is excuse yourself when you burp. At least Max has the decency to do that," Kairi said. Once Sora's stomach was all better they continued on when a wild Shroomish with a yellowish upper body/head with orange spots, and orange lower body.
"A Shiny Shroomish," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"This area must be where Shroomish and Breloom lives. Someone did say that it's common to see mushroom Pokémon around here. I wonder if there are Paras or Parasect around here," Kairi said. The Shiny Shroomish attacks by starting off with a Headbutt attack. The couples scatter. Shroomish heads towards Angel, but Pikachu smacks him with Iron Tail. Shroomish didn't like how his attack was interuppted.
"You can't do that to my girlfriend's Eevee and get away with it! Pikachu! Use Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Pikachu dashed right at Shroomish and then suddenly he fell asleep. Sora tilted his head. "Wha? He's asleep?!"
"Sora! It's Effect Spore! It activates when the attacker makes physical contact!" Kairi said.
"Eevee!" Angel called out.
"Oh,' Sora said. Shroomish moves towards Pikachu and lands another Headbutt. Pikachu is sent back to Sora, making them both hit the ground. "That's an affective Headbutt." Sora gets back up and hands Pikachu to Kairi while Angel was filled with concern for him.
"It's okay, Angel. Pikachu is going to be alright," Kairi assured her. Angel nuzzles him. Sora knew physical atatcks would probably end up taking effect, so he had to think of which one to use. He thought of Spoink since he hadn't ued him in battle yet, so he took out the bounce Pokémon's Pokéball.
"Come on out Spoink!" Sora called out. Spoink comes out and makes his entrance. Shroomish moves in with another Headbutt, but Sora saw that coming. "Spoink! Psychic!" Spoink uses Psychic to stop Shroomish in his tracks. Shroomish fires Seed Bomb right at Spoink, but avoids it just by bouncing and dropping Shroomish. "Use Power Gem!" Spoink fires Power Gem right at the Shiny mushroom Pokémon, causing some heavy damage. Sora takes out a Pokéball and threw it right at Shroomish, making him flow inside. The Pokéball wobbles around and around for a moment before stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokédex starts buzzing asking him if he wants to keep Shroomish or send him to Professor Oak's lab. Sora chose to send Shroomish over to Professor Oak's lab. "And that's done."
"Another successful catch, Sora. And here's a little something for you," Kairi said, giving her boyfriend a kiss on the lips. Pikachu wakes up and smiles seeing Angel in front of him.
"Good morning, sunshine." - Angel subtitle.
"Always happy to see your face looking back at me in the morning." - Pikachu subtitle. He and Angel gave each other a light kiss on the lips, followed with a nuzzle.
A few more days later, Kairi decided to change her team a bit. She accessed Sora's Pokédex and exchanged Bewear, Roselia, and Milotic for Plusle, Minun, and Chingling.
Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel continued on their way to Fortree City,but they weren't expecting something watching them. Watching them go by were a bunch of bluish-black ghostly Pokémon that has an oddly napiform heads, and their bodies are sheet-like and billowing. They all have light blue sclerae, dark blue irises and its pupils are yellow.On the top of their heads is a horn.Those Pokémon are known as Shuppet. The Shuppet follows them through the woods.
NIght came as the couple stopped for the night to set up camp, but then, without warning, it started to rain.
"Man! Not again!" Sora exclaimed.
"We gotta get out of the rain before it we catch a cold!" Kairi said.
They ran throught the rain as lightning crashes.
Not too far, a bunch of eight girls came running through the rain. Among them is a boy around their age. Also with them are all the evolved forms of Eevee. The boy had a Clefairy, a Marill, a lavender Wobbufett, a Sudowoodo, a Chansey, and a Mr. Mime running through the rain. All the girls all wore clothes and had their hair done in the colorings of the Eeveelutions. As they ran, they spotted a mansion right in their path.
"Head for that mansion!" The by suggested.
"I'm not sleeping in that place!" The girl matching Jolteon said.
"I don't care where we end up just as long as we're out of the rain!" The girl matching Flareon said.
Same here!" The girl matching Espeon said.
All of the other girls voiced their opinions and they all headed up to the mansion. The boy tried to get it opened, but it was shut tight. A bunch of Shuppet were watching from the inside.
"It's locked!" The boy exclaimed.
"You're kidding, right?" The girl matching Flareon asked.
"I wish I was!" The boy said.
"Move out of the way!" The girl matching Umbreon said, trying to open it. They all tried to open it, but no such luck. They all sighed in defeat.
"It looks like we're all sleeping out in the rain tonight," the girl matching Glaceon said.
"Aw, and I had already gotten over my cold!" The girl matching Leafeon groaned.
"Now, it won't be that bad. We can get to take care of you again," the girl matching Sylveon said.
"Gee, thanks a lot," the girl matching Leafeon said sarcastically.
The doors suddenly opens on their own.
"Wasn't that door just locked?" The girl matching Vaporeon asked.
"None of us could have opened it. Someone from inside must have heard us and opened it," the boy said. Not wasting time, they all went inside and the doors closed behind them, shocking them greatly. "The doors have shut!" Mr. Mime tried to open the doors again, but it wasn't budging.
"Mime, Mime, Mr. Mime," Mr. Mime said.
"Oh, this is just great. Now, I'm trapped in a haunted house with all of you!" The girl matching Flareon exclaimed.
"I'm sorry, but didn't you say that you didn't care where to sleep just as long as we're out of the rain?" The girl matching Jolteon barked at her.
"That was before we knew what was in here!" The girl matching Flareon argued. "Besides, you were the one who said not sleeping in here!"
"Because it looks creepy!" The girl matching Jolteon argued back. Not long an argument started. Everyone started to argue and argue. Just outside, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel made it to the mansion.
"I guess we can sleep in there for the night," Sora said.
"I just hope whoever lives here can let us in," Kairi said.
"Me too," Sora said. He knocked on the door. "Hello! Is anybody home?" He knocks again.
Inside, the girls and the boy continued to argue when the Pokémon heard knocking.
"Someone is on the other side of this door." - Clefiary subtitle.
"But who?" - Mr. Mime subtitle.
Back outside, Sora kept on knocking.
"Someone has got to be in there, I just know it," Sora said. He places his ear on the door and hears the sound of arguing inside. "Someone's in there alright. I can hear them." Just then, the door opens and he fell inside, catching the attention of the group. "You know it's rude to keep someone waiting when they were knocking on your door."
Who the hell are you? This is our place, so go find your own!" The girl matching Flareon barked at them.
"We have just as every right to be here as you do," Sora said.
"The place is obviously big enough for all of us," Kairi said.
"Pikachu, Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel added.
"Besides, we came here to get out of the rain," Sora said.
"So did we," the girl matching Sylveon said. "We'll be more than happy to share it."
"We're not sharing anything with anyone! This is our spot and that's that!" The girl matching Flareon said.
"He did say that they have the same right to be here," the boy said.
"Nobody asked for your opinion!" The girl matching Flareon hissed.
"You never asked for my opinion anyway, hothead," the by said, making her angry.
"What did you just call me?" THe girl matching Flareon yelled.
"Hothead! And I'll say it again! Hothead, Hothead, Hothead, Hothead, Hothead!" The boy said. "The one thing that makes you the least cutest one is your temper!"
"I am the cuetest one of all! Who even cares about what you think?!" The girl matching Flareon asked.
"Not only you're the least cutest, but your the most despicable person I have ever know. You're pushy, you're bossy, you're mean to every guy you come in contact with!" The boy said.
"Excuse me if I hate guys!" The girl matching Flareon said. She turned to Sora and Kairi. "You two! Take your Pokémon and get out!"
"Not until the norning," Sora said.
"No, not in the morning, now!" The girl matching Flareon said.
"What is your problem?" Sora asked.
"The problem is that you're a guy," the girl matching Flareon argued.
"That is a pretty sexist reason," Sora said.
"It's just a valid as any reason," the girl matching Flareon said. Sora was starting to lose his temper.
"Look! Like it or not, we're here to stay and you can't make us go! Right Kairi?" Sora asked.
"Right," Kairi agreed.
The both sat on the ground defiently. The girl matching Flareon tried to move Sora, but he just sat there and took it.
"You are really starting to piss me off!" THe girl matching Flareon said. She tried to get Sora out, but he stubbornly fought her off. Some of the other girls tried to do the same thing, but suddenly, they started to calm down for some strange reason. "I feel strangely relieved."
"Me too," Sora said.
They had no idea what just happened and why they feel so calm. The anger they all just displayed suddenly disappeared.
"What just happened?" The boy asked.
"I don't know. I felt angry just a moment ago, but now, I feel so much calmer," the girl matching Jolteon said.
"Sorry about that. Anyway, my name is Karou and these are my friends," the boy introduced himself. "Clefairy, Wobbufett, Mr. Mime, Sudowoodo, Chansey, and Marill are my Pokémon.
"My name is Sparkle and this is my Jolteon. The girl with Flareon is Pyra, the girl with Vaporeon is Oceania, the girl with Leafeon is Flora, the girl with Glaceon is Icy, the girl with Umbreon is Ebony, the girl with Espeon is Sunny, and the girl with Sylveon is Pixie," Sparkle introduced.
"Well, I'm Sora. And this is my girlfriend Kairi along with my Pikachu and her Eevee Angel," Sora introduced.
"It's nice to meet you," Kairi said.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"If we're going to spend the night, we might as well go to bed now," Ebony said.
"I'm with you, Ebony," Icy said, yawning. "I'm getting mighty sleepy."
"Same here," Sora said, yawning. "I gotten myself pretty tired from all that running we did."
"Me too," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
They all went upstairs to find some suitable rooms to sleep in. Sora and Kairi were experiencing déja vu, remembering that one rainy night just like the one they were experiencing and being in an old mansion just like the one they're already in. It was when the Alolan nine were with them on their way to Saffron City and when Sora caught his Haunter. Lightning crashes as the Shuppet all watch them. Sora and Kairi shared a room together since they felt safer with each other around.
The girls shared a room together while Karou slept along with his Pokémon beside him.
"I'm never alone with you guys around," Karou said. All of his Pokémon beamed and they slept beside him.
Sleep had taken them. The Shuppet decided to have some fun with them. A few Shuppet went in where the girls are sleeping. They turned themselves invisible just to they won't be seen. All of the Eeveelutions ears perked up and they woke up. The all sniffed the air and growled.
They could see nothing, but they knew they weren't alone. The Shuppet uses Psychic and makes several of the objects fly around. Umbreon jumped up, dropping the objects and waking up the girls.
"What was that?" Pyra asked.
"Did something happen?!" Oceania asked. The Eeveelutions were telling that they were not alone.
"What is it, Sylveon? What are you trying to tell me?" Pixie asked.
"I think they're saying there's something in here with us," Sunny said.
"No way. The only ones here are us, Karou, and those two," Pyra stated.
"But Espeon and the others are saying you're wrong," Sunny said.
"I am not WRONG! Flareon was just smelling Karou's Pokémon along with that Pikachu and Eevee," Pyra said. Flareon tried to convince her of the intruders, but that just infuriated her. "Leave me alone and let me sleep!" The Shuppet started to absorb the angry feelings from her. Flareon fired Ember right where the negativity was flowing.. "What the?!"
"Are they what I think they are?" Pixie asked.
"Those are Shuppet," Flora said.
"So, that's it. They were feeding on our anger," Sparkle said.
"What does that has to do with anything?" Pyra asked.
"Shuppet are Pokémon that are attracted to negative emotions like anger and jealousy. After that, the individual doesn't feel angry anymore," Pixie said.
"So, they must live here," Sparkle pointed out.
"That solves the mystery of who opened the door," Flora said.
Right over to Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel, they were sleeping soundly as the Shuppet looms over them. One Shuppet uses Psychic to tickle Sora's nose with a feather. He started to stir awake and shoos the feather with his hand.
"Whoever is doing that, cut it out," Sora said sleppily. One Shuppet got right in front of Sora's face. It was very curious about him. He rolls over and the loan Shuppet floats up. The other Shuppet took their leave while the one Shuppet stayed behind. Sora slowly opened his eyes and saw the Pokémon looking back at him. "WHOA!" Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel woke up.
"Sora, what are you making that sound for?" Kairi asked in a sleepy tone.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Wasn't my fault. This Pokémon did," Sora said. Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel saw the Pokémon in front of him.
"Isn't that a Shuppet?" Kairi asked.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
"Vee," Angel said.
"Shuppet, Shuppet," the Shuppet said. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the Shuppet.
"What does Dexdette say about you?" Sora asked.
Shuppet, the Puppet Pokémon
Type: Ghost
Shuppet are drawn to negative emotions such as anger and jealousy. When Shuppet finds these negative emotions, they will begin to feed on them, making the individual so much calmer.
"So, that's it," Sora said, putting his Pokédex away. "You were the reason everybody calmed down so suddenly."
"That makes sense. Shuppet were drawn to us when we were in an argument with those girls," Kairi said. Shuppet nodded.
"I guess a Shuppet is much better than having to head for some anger management class," Sora said.
"And Shuppet is such a little cutie," Kairi said, making the puppet Pokémon blush.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Were you the one who opened the door for us?" Sora asked. Shuppet nodded. "At least you're not a prankster Haunter."
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
Kairi did remember that incident well when that Haunter framed Kiawe for groping her in her sleep. It wasn't her favorite memory, but she apologized for it later after Sora caught him.
"I'm sure we would like to play, but we have some sleep to catch up on, so we're too tired to play," Sora said.
"Shuppet, Shuppet," Shuppet said, laying down next to Pikachu and Angel.
"Such a good boy," Kairi said.
The couples did go back to sleep with the Shuppet joining them. Over to Karou, the Shuppet were teasing him and his Pokémon.
"Come on, Shuppet! I'm trying to sleep!" Karou said.
It went on all through the night. On the very next morning, Karou hadn't slept a wink of sleep. He ended up yawning and trying to stay awake. The girls and the couples had a much better night than he did. He had dark spots right under his eyes and they were red.
"Rough night?" Sora asked.
"You wouldn't know the half of it," Karou said.
They saw how sunny it was and they all stepped out to see a gorgeous rainbow. It was definitely like the one they saw on that next morning.
"It's so pretty," Kairi said.
"It sure is," Sora agreed.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
Sora and Pikachu wrapped their arms around their significant others as Kairi and Angel placed their heads in their shoulders. After catching the moment, they set off in their separate ways, but Shuppet stops right in front of them.
"Shuppet? You wanna come along with us?" Sora asked. Shuppet nodded. Shuppet stood on the opposite side, ready for battle. "So, you want to test me, huh?" Shuppet nodded. "Sure thing," Sora said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Vikavolt!" The Pokéball opens and the stag beetle Pokémon buzzes upon entry. Shuppet begins by unleashing Hex right at him. "Dodge and use Electro Web!" Vikavolt avoids Shuppet's Hex and fires Electro Web at Shuppet and he dodges the attack. "Now use Crunch!" Vikavolt moves in and takes Shuppet into his mandibles, causing a heavy blow. "Great! Now use Thunderbolt!" Vikavolt fires Thunderbolt and it shocks Shuppet into a crisp. Once Sora was certain Shuppet was weakened, he took out a Pokéball and threw it right at Shuppet. The puppet Pokémon flows inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokédex starts buzzing asking him if he wants to keep Shuppet with him or send him to Professor Oak's lab. Sora chose to keep Shuppet in exchange for Swellow. "Now I have a Shuppet."
With that settled, they continued on towards Fortree City. Going further, they are approached by a trainer, wearing a stetson hat and overalls.
"Yer that Sora Ketchum feller, aren't you?" The trainer asked.
"That'll be me," Sora said.
"I have been hearing some rumors about ya'll heading for Fortree City, so I thought I challenge before ya get there," the trainer said. "Let's make five against five, what do ya say?"
"Five against five, huh? I can go with that," Sora stated. They both took out a Pokéball each. "Let's go, Spoink!"
"Come on out, Grumpig!" The trainer called out. Spoink came out at the same time as a fat, bipedal, pig-like Pokémon. It has a purple body with black accents, a spiraling tail, two black pearls on its forehead, and one on its midsection. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.
Grumpig, the Manipulate Pokémon
The evolved form of Spoink
Type: Psychic
Grumpig uses the black pearls on its body to amplify its psychic power waves for gaining total control over its foe. When this Pokémon uses its special power, its snorting breath grows labored.
"Grumpig may have the advantage just because it's Spoink's evolved form. Gonna give it everything I've got," Sora said. His opponent just laughed.
"That little runt ain't gonna last against my Grumpig! And I'll prove it too! Grumpig! STart things up with yer Ice Punch!" The trainer ordered. Grumpig comes at Spoink with its fist emitting ice.
"Dodge by using Bounce!" Sora ordered. Spoink avoids Grumpig's Ice Punch.
"Two can play that game! Grumpig! Use Bounce!" The trainer ordered. Grumpig uses its coiled tail and bounces right after Spoink. Grumpig may have jumped pretty high, but Spoink was much higher and came down at Grumpig pretty fast. Grumpig fell to the ground fast. Grumpig made a rough landing and ended up being knocked out because of the fall. He calls back Grumpig feeling sore about the quick win by Sora. "I don't believe it! My Grumpig lost to some puny Spoink!"
"Good work, Spoink!" Sora said. The trainer took out his next Pokéball and threw it.
"Your turn now, Miltank!" The trainer called out and his Miltank stomps on the ground upon entry. Sora calls back Spoink and takes out his next Pokéball.
"You're up, Manectric!" Sora called out and Manectric growls at his opponent. "Use Shock Wave!" Manectric fires SHock Wave right at the milk cow Pokémon, but her trainer wasn't worried one bit.
"Miltank! Protect!" The trainer ordered. Miltank forms a protective barrier around herself. "Now use Body Press!" Comes at Manectric with her Body Press.
"Dodge and use Thunder Fang!" Sora ordered. Manectric avoids Miltank's Body Press and comes at her with Thunder Fang
"Use Protect!" The trainer ordered. Miltank tried to use Protect, but got hit bad with Thunder Fang.
"Now use Shock Wave again!" Sora ordered. Manectric fires Shock Wave and it struck Miltank hard.
"Miltank! Use Hyper Beam!" The trainer ordered. Miltank fires a powerful Hyper Beam.
"Manectric! Use Shock Wave!" Sora ordered. Manectric use Shock Wave to block Miltank's Hyper Beam, but ended up with an explosion. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and the trainer braced themselves and waited to see which was still standing. The smoke clears to see both had been knocked out. Both trainers calls their fallen Pokémon back. "Not bad."
"Same to ya'll, but yer ain't out of the woods yet," the trainer said, taking out another Pokéball. "Go for it, Piloswine!" He threw it and let's out his Piloswine. Sora takes out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Your turn now, Lairon!" Sora called out as Lairon makes an entry. "I know Piloswine has the advantage at being a Ground Type and Lairon being Steel, but Steel Types has the advantage over Ice Type Pokémon."
"Smart move, but ain't good enough! Piloswine! Take Down, now!" The trainer ordered. Piloswine charges right at Lairon.
"Dodge and use Metal Claw!" Sora ordered. Lairon swipes at Piloswine, landing a hit. "Now use Iron Tail!" Lairon swings at Piloswine and lands another hit on the swine Pokémon.
"Piloswine! Use Earth Power!" The trainer ordered. Piloswine slams its front legs on the ground. Lairon got hitby Earth Power, but Lairon wasn't close to calling it quits.
"Lairon! Metal Claw again!" Sora called out. Lairon swipes at Piloswine and he earned a knockout. The trainer calls back Piloswine.
"Get some rest, Piloswine. Ya'll deserve it," the trainer said, taking out another Pokéball. Now, it's going to your turn, Machamp!" The Pokéball opens and his Machamp flexes its muscles. Sora calls back Lairon and takes out his next Pokéball.
"Go! Vikavolt!" ora called out and Vikavolt buzzes upon entry. "Vikavolt! Electro Web!" Vikavolt fires Electro Web at the super power Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Cross Chop!" The trainer ordered. Machamp crosses all four of its arms and comes at the stag beetle Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Crunch!" Sora ordered. Vikavolt flies towards Machamp and avoids Machamp's attack before landing Crunch onto it.
"Fire Punch!" The trainer ordered. Machamp lands a Fire Punch on Vikavolt, dealing heavy damage. "Now use Seismic Toss!" Machamp grabs Vikavolt and goes in for a whirl and drops Vikavolt straight down. Vikavolt falls down staright down like a meteor.
"Take flight!" Sora called out. Vikavolt buzzes his wings and regains his balance and flies back in the air.'' Thunderbolt!" Vikavolt fires Thunderbolt to shock Machamp, but its trainer wasn't going to have that.
"Machamp! Dodge and use one more Fire Punch!" The trainer ordered. Machamp jumps and lands a much stronger Fire Punch on the stage beetle Pokémon. Vikavolt fell to the ground beaten. Sora calls back Vikavolt.
"Don't sweat it, Vikavolt. You did your best," Sora said. Mchamp's trainer calls it back and takes out one more Pokéball.
"Next one decides the match," the trainer said, taking out his next Pokéball. Move right in, Vibrava!" He threw it and out came a Pokémon that like a cross between a large insect and an odd dragon. It has yellow-green skin with big green eyes on the sides of its head. It has four green wings with black outlines, and similar smaller wings on the tip of its tail. It also has four gray legs that are jointed outward and end with two smaller appendages that spread to the sides and stick out at nearly a 90-degree angle. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.
Vibrava, the Vibration Pokémon
The evolved form of Trapinch
Type: Ground/Dragon
Vibrava's wings have not yet completed the process of growing. Rather than flying long distances, they are more useful for generating ultrasonic waves by vibrating.
"That's what Trapinch will evolve into? Vibrava would be a cool Pokémon to have. But for now, it's time to make my newest member make his debut," Sora said, taking out his next Pokéball. "Go! Shuppet!" He throws it and Shuppet makes his entry. "Okay Shuppet! Start things up with Night Shade!" Shuppet fires Night Shade right at Vibrava.
"Dodge and use Dragon Breath!" The trainer ordered. Vibrava fires Dragon Breath, hoping to hit the puppet Pokémon.
"Turn yourself invisible to dodge!" Sora called out. Shuppet turns invisible, catching Vibrava off guard. "Now use Psychic!" Shuppet uses Psychic to lift up Vibrava off of the ground and go flying all over the air.
"Vibrava! Use Bug Buzz!" The trainer ordered. Vibrava flaps its wings to create a powerful vibration and forces Shuppet to let go. "Now, fire Dragon Breath!" Vibrava fires Dragon Breath again, but not a single hit had landed.
"Shuppet! Use your Hex!" Sora ordered. Shuppet uses Hex and hurls it right at Vibrava. Vibrava got hit by the ghostly energy.
"Vibrava! Sand Tomb!" The trainer ordered. Vibrava sends out a tornado of sand and Vibrava turned visible again. "Good, it's visible again! Dragon Breath!" Vibrava fires Dragon Breath and it struck Shuppet on the spot. "Dragon Breath again!" Vibrava fires another Dragon Breath right at Shuppet. Sora had an idea on how to turn it around.
"Shuppet! Psychic! Send that Dragon Breath right back!" Sora ordered. Shuppet blocked Dragon Breath with his telepathic attack and reflects it right back at the vibration Pokémon. Vibrava takes a pretty bad hit due to weakness to its own attack. Vibrava had been taken out. Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel all cheered as Sora had won the battle.
"That's the way, Sora!" Kairi cheered for her boyfriend.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu cheered.
"Eevee!" Angel also cheered.
Sora's opponent calls back Vibrava and smiled.
"I can see why you're the champ. You're a tough nut to crack," the trainer said.
Meanwhile at Fortree City, Riku, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill had arrived in Fortree City after bringing Lisia to the police station of a town close to Fortree City, waiting for Sora and Kairi to show up.
"It was a good idea having to meet Sora and Kairi here, Riku," Naminé said.
"They're on their way already, so I thought it'll be a good idea on getting to them and tell them what Team Magma is cooking up. And I have a feeling those Team Aqua guys has the same kind of idea," Riku said.
"What if they have gotten the orb they're looking for? What then?" Naminé asked. Riku could tell his girlfriend was worried and he knew she was right to worry.
"I don't think they found it yet. That guy Maxie was determined to find it. And when we do see Team Magma again or meet Team Aqua, then there won't be any running away," Riku said.
"What if they try to take me hostage again just like Team Rocket did?" Naminé asked.
"I won't let that happen again, Naminé. I promise," Riku vowed taking Naminé in his arms. She hugged him back, feeling even safer with Riku.
Riku and Naminé had arived in Fortree City to warn Sora and Kairi about Team Magma. How will Sora and Kairi take it? Just wait and find out.
