Episode 258: Sea of Luvdisc
About an hour had passed since departing from the previous island and departing form Lillie, Elio, and Selene. As they have sailed on, Sora gad exchanged Dusclops and Banette for his Kirlia and Mimikyu as Kairi had exchanged Togedemaru and Surskit for her Kirlia and Mawile. Sora and Kairi both let out their Kirlia just so they could enjoy the cruise. The two Kirlia held each other as did Pikachu and Angel. Sora places his arm on his girlfriend's shoulder.
"Enjoying the cruise, Kairi?" Sora asked.
"Always when I'm with you," Kairi said, giving Sora a kiss on the cheek.
"Glad to hear it," Sora said, giving Kairi a kiss on the lips. She kisses him back as a woman passing by smiled.
"Oh, what a lovely sight," the woman said. They stopped kissing as the couple looked at her. "It's always nice to see such a darling couple being ever so close." She looked at the Pokémon and smiled some more. "I trust that Pikachu, that Eevee, and those Kirlia are yours."
"Pikachu is mine and the Eevee is hers," Sora said.
"I thought as much. And you two are pretty lucky to be in so much love since thi happens to be Luvdisc territory," the woman said.
"Luvdisc?" Sora asked.
"Luvdisc are Pokémon that are said to bring eternal love to any loving couple, isn't that right?" Kairi asked.
"That's exactly right. And a Luvdisc would spot your love a mile away," the woman said. A Luvdisc sticks its head out of the water. "And there's one right there." Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and the Kirlia spotted the Kirlia swimming along the ship. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.
Luvdisc, the Rendezvous Pokémon
Type: Water
Luvdisc's heart-shaped body is a symbol of love and romance. It is said that any couple meeting this Pokémon is promised a loving relationship that never ends.
Sora puts his Pokédex away and smiles. Luvdisc follows the ship and splashes out.
"Gotta say, I am envious of the two of you. If I had a special someone, I would be so blessed by a Luvdisc," the woman said. She took her leave as Luvdisc jumps out and reaches the couples on board.
"Hi there, Kairi greeted. You wanna tag along?" Luvdisc kept jumping out of the water, following the couples until the ship made a stop to the next island and departed. They got off the ship and decided to have a day for themselves and the Pokémon. They started off by doing some fishing by the beach. Pikachu, Angel, and the Kirlia joined in along with them as Sora and Kairi hurled their fishing rods. Sora's fishing lure is a replica of his crown necklace as Kairi's lure is a Slowpoke lure.
"Good idea on fishing, Kairi. The weather is just right for-" Sora was cut off when Kairi shushes him.
"You'll scare away the Pokémon," Kairi told him.
"Sorry," Sora whispered. They kept fishing for a few minutes until Kairi ended getting a bite.
"I got one! I got one!" Kairi said excitedly.
"Reel it in!" Sora said. Kairi did reel in whatever was on her lure. Out came a pretty large Corsola. This Corsola was much larger than the one Lana has..
"Wow! A huge Corsola!" Kairi exclaimed.
"Go for it, Kairi!" Sora said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
"Right!" Kairi said taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Minun!" Her Pokéball opens and Minun awaits Kairi's instructions. "Okay Minun! Start up with Quick Attack!" Minun dashed right at the wild Corsola. It responds by doing a Rock Blast. Kairi knew Rock Blast gets stronger with with each hit. "Dodge with Quick Attack!" Minun avoids Rock Blast using her speed. "Now use Thunderbolt!" Minun gae the coral Pokémon quite a shock. Corsola's body glows in a golden aura, undoing its injuries.
"That was Recover," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
Corsola starts firing a fires a powerful stream of water from its mouth atMinun. The cheering Pokémon got hit by the attack.
"Now it used Brine!" Sora exclaimed.
"Electro Ball!" Kairi ordered. Minun forms Electro Ball and hurls it right at the coral Pokémon. Corsola fires Brine again. "Dodge and use Electro Ball repeatedly!" Minun avoids Brine and fires Electro Ball again and again and again. Sora figured Corsola would just use Recover again, but he knew Recover doesn't heal completely.
"Keep it up, Kairi!" Sora cheered for his girlfriend.
"Now use Thunderbolt!" Kairi ordered. Minun gave Corsola a shock and it was enough to bring the large Corsola down. Kairi took out a Dive Ball she got from Lana a while back and threw it. The Dive Ball opens and Corsola flows inside it. The Dive Ball wobbles around and around, hoping it would be a successful capture. Stars swirls around the Dive Ball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokédex starts buzzing asking her if she wants to keep Corsola with her. She chose to send Corsola over to Professor Oak's lab. "Now I have my own Corsola!"
Way to go, Kairi!" Sora praised her. The couple shared a celebratory kiss as Pikachu, Angel, and the Kirlia beamed and embraced as lovingly. The Luvdisc from before sticks its head out of the water to witness the love. Luvdisc dove back down when someone was approaching them.
"Excuse me," a man's voice said, making Sora and Kairi break the kiss. "Do those two Kirlia belong to the both of you?"
"Yes they do," Sora said.
"We had them ever since they were both Ralts," Kairi added.
"And judging how they both look, they look well-trained. Two Kirlia in love is obviously a reflection of the relationship you must share," the man said.
"Thanks, I think," Sora said.
"Anywho, my name is Horatio. And who might you be?" Horatio asked.
"My name is Sora," he introduced.
"And I'm Kairi," she introduced.
"Nice to meet you both. Anyway, I was passing by and I have to say I was mighty impressed by your battling skills. So, I was wondering if you would like to join me for some scuba diving. I have been going all over town looking for couples to take part in it, so I just needed one more pair to make it set. Of course, if that's what you want."
"Scuba diving?" Sora and Kairi both questioned at once. They thought about it and they had to admit, it had been since their experience at the whirl Islands since they had gone scuba diving. Who knows, it would be nice to explore the ocean floor again after so long. They turned to each other and nodded. "We're in!"
"Wonderful! I know you'll love it!" Horatio said enthusiastically. He led the human and Pokémon couples to the dock where they are met by some familiar faces. Tai and Sara, Matt and Mimi, TK and Kari, Ken and Yolei were all present among a few more couples.
"Sora? Kairi?" Kari asked.
"Tai, Matt, TK, Ken?" Sora asked.
"Sara, Mimi, Kari, Yolei?" Kairi asked.
"Ketchum! We haven't seen you since the Lavaridge Contest," Tai said.
"Right back at you," Sora said.
"I take it that you know each other, may I ask?" Horatio asked.
"We go way back," Kairi said. "You're going diving too, huh?"
"Horatio invited us," Matt said. "Mimi thought it would be a fun to do together."
"You have the same idea, Sora?" Mimi asked.
"You can say that," Sora said.
Sara notices two Kirlia with them as well as the Eevee standing next to Pikachu.
"Looks like you got yourselves some more new Pokémon," Sara pointed out.
"You both got yourselves a Kirlia each," Tai said.
"And whose Eevee is this?" Sara asked.
"Mine," Kairi said, picking up Angel in her arms. "I want to introduce you to Angel."
"Anyway, where are Izzy, Joe, Davis, and Cody?" Sora asked.
"They're at the Pokémon Center. Izzy has been busy on his laptop as usual," Tai said. It didn't surprise them to hear that Izzy is buried into his computer.
Speaking of which, Izzy is sitting in the lobby of the local Pokémon Center when he spots something of interest.
"Propokus! What could this be?" Izzy said, opening it. He read the contents on it and he sees something rather troubling. "What in the world?" He saw an image of four Pokémon. One of them was Regirock. One is a is a silver and dark gray Pokémon with seven red dots on its face and a short, bulky body. It has small stubby silver feet and hands with three fingers. It also has five small red triangles on its knuckles. This Pokémon is known as Registeel. The third one is a bipedal light-blue colored Pokémon. It has seven yellow eyes and its head is pointy. Its arms are thick and they are a crystal shaped and on the bottom of the arms, it has three crystal shaped fingers. On its back are four crystals shaped spikes protruding out. It has hexagon-shaped joints with conic feet below them. This one is Regice. One is a yellow bipedal Pokémon that appears to be made of electricity. It has two short, lightning bolt-shaped legs, two big, somewhat cylindrical arms that can open up, seven pinkish dots on its face arranged in a sort of "X" or "H" pattern, three spikes on its head, and blue rings separating its head from its arms and legs. This one is Regieleki. One is is a pink orb Pokémon with jaw-like cracks surrounding its eyes, which are blue and stylised into somewhat of a Y shape. Its arms are halves of a skull's jaw resembling a Charizard's. It has 2 stubby legs and a black cracked foot. This one is Regidraco. And finally, is a very large Pokémon that bears a similar resemblance to the other regi Pokémon. It's mostly white, it has few black stripes located on its body and yellow plates surrounding their wrists, shoulders, and another in their upper region. Around its feet and its back, it got either a plant or some moss growing in it. This Pokémon is known as Regigigas. "Incredible! Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Regieleki, and Regidraco, and Regigigas." Izzy looks right into the site when Davis, Joe, and Cody walk in.
"Looks like Izzy's buried himself into his work again," Davis said.
"That's Izzy for you. His curiosity knows no bounds," Joe said.
"It's true what they say, the quest for knowledge is endless," Cody said.
"Precisely true, Cody," Joe agreed.
Izzy continued looking into the information on the regi Pokémon and he became fascinated with it. He saw there were ancient cities that honored the regi Pokémon, all but Regigigas. Three were were in Hoenn.
One of the ancient cities were near their current location.
"Joe, Davis, Cody, come here and see this," Izzy said. They went to the smartest boy of the dozen as he shows them what he had found. "Look at this."
"What is it?" Davis asked.
"Ancient cities of Hoenn. Each one has a shrine of the legendary Pokémon Regirock, Registeel, and Regice," Izzy said.
"I remember hearing stories about them. I always thought they were only stories," Cody stated.
"So did I, but after all of our past experiences, I would believe in just about anything. I am very curious about these old cities and about these incredible Pokémon," Izzy said.
"Which one are we near?" Joe asked.
"I believe the city that worships Registeel is the closest. And we can head there as soon as Tai and the others come back," Izzy said.
"Why not just go on ahead of them?" Davis asked.
"Because we promised to wait for them here, Davis, Joe reminded him.
"You're not still sore in the fact Kari chose TK over you, are you?" Cody asked in a teasing manner.
"I told you before, I don't care about it anymore. Kari's happiness mean the world to me. It's just hard to get over it," Davis said.
Cody wasn't buying it. He knew for certain he still has a thing for Kari, but Davis had been supportive about it. Davis had to condiser the pros and cons between him and TK. TK was more mature than Davis is, and he actually thinks through. On top of that, TK was more organized while Davis was messy as a Grimer. Also, TK was more considerate than he could ever be, especially of her feelings. TK was a more likely choice than Davis ever was.
"You sure you're okay, Davis?" Joe asked.
"I'm fine, like I keep saying," Davis said. He was gonna have a stroll when a girl with short shoulder-length hair bumped into Davis, making her fall and Davis catches her before she could hit the ground. "Gotaha! You okay?" The girl looked up to him and she began to blush when she saw his face.
"Y-Y-Yes," the girl said, blushing. Davis lets go of her and he got a good look at her. He saw how cute she is. His face started to blush a bit. "Thank you for helping me."
"Buh," Davis could only say. His turned as red as a Tamato Berry, hearing her voice. Izzy, Joe, and Cody were starting to see where this was going.
"Sorry about bumping into you like that. I guess I wasn't looking where I was going," the girl said. Davis's heart started to race fast. Finally he spoke.
"It's cool. I was just lost in thought. Anyway, my name's Davis. What's yours?" Davis asked. She blushed and she smiled.
"My name's Amy. And I think Davis is a very nice name. It's cute just like you are," Amy said. Davis's face turned even redder when she just called him cute.
"Yeah, well, I think you're cute too," Davis said, making the girl smile.
"Not only you're cute, but you're also nice," Amy said. "So, you an islander?"
"No. You?" Davis asked.
"Nope. Just passing through," Amy said. "Would like to join me for some ice cream? I mean, that's if you're interested."
"Sure. I'm in the mood for some ice cream," Davis said. He turned to his three friends. "Don't wait up." He and Amy took off to get some ice cream.
"What do you know? Someone is actually interested in Davis," Joe said.
"And I thought it would have been unlikely," Izzy said.
"Yolei is never going to believe it," Cody said.
"Neither will Jun. But his mom will definitely bust a button when she hears it," Izzy said.
The three boys all nodded with agreement. They wondered how long it'll last. Over to Sora, Kairi, and the other couples, they got suited up into wetsuits as Pikachu, Angel, and the Kirlia put off their oxygen tanks. Sora thought of using a couple of his Water Type Pokémon for this, so he exchanged Grovyle and Combusken for Sharpedo and Spheal as Kairi had exchanged Roselia for Milotic.
"Is everyone all set?" Horatio asked. "Oxygen tanks at full length?"
"All set," everyone said.
"Great!" Horatio said happily. Sora and Kairi had let out Marshtomp, Sharpedo, Spheal, and Milotic as everyone boarded the boat. Everyone were impressed by the size of Sora's Sharpedo and how beautifully Milotic looked, since Milotic is the most beautiful Pokémon. "Everyone go once ready." Everyone put on their oxygen masks and dove down. The Water Type Pokémon dove down underwater and swam along with them. The ocean was even more beautiful than either Sora or Kairi remembered.
"Whoa, it's totally amazing. It's even better than the last the last time. That first meeting with Rex and Weevil didn't help much," Sora said in his thoughts. A school of Magikarp come swimming by surprising him. Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and the Kirlia swam up to him, catching him. Just then, a Huntail comes swimming by. It catches Sora by surprise as it swims off. Sora took out his Pokédex encased in a waterproof case and scanned it.
Huntail, the Deep Sea Pokémon
An evolved form of Clamperl
Type: Water
Huntail's tail is shaped like a fish. It uses the tail to attract prey, then swallows the prey whole with its large, gaping mouth. This Pokémon swims by wiggling its slender body like a snake.
Sora puts his Pokédex away and kept going, catching up with the others. TK and Kari were asrounded by the swimming Goldeen and Seaking as Matt and Mimi were checking out the Chinchou and Lanturn glowing brightly as Tai and Sara were witnessing a pod of Wailmer and Wailord swimming by. Spheal swam up to one of the Wailmer and wanted to play, but what appears to be the parent of the Wailmer gave the ball whale Pokémon a stern look. The Wailmer reluctantly swam back to the pod.
Spheal spotted an Octillery and got very curious. Spheal got close only for the octopus-like Pokémon to squirt some ink and swim away. The Kirlia couple held hands as they swam. The Luvdisc from before shows up and greets them. Pikachu and Angel notice and swam up to greet it. Spheal swam up to the rendezvous Pokémon and got curious. Luvdisc blows a kiss and a pink heart appears from its lips and struck Spheal. The clap Pokémon swims back to Sora.
"What's up with Spheal?" Sora asked in his thoughts. He saw the heart-shaped Pokémon with the Pokémon couples and got the message. "Could that be the Luvdisc from earlier?" Not long after that, several more Luvdisc started to appear. All of the couples we're astounded by the number of Luvdisc all around. Marshtomp and Sharpedo were caught by surprise by their sudden appearence. Relicanth and Magikarp swam by Sora as did a Gorebyss. Sora took out his Pokédex once again and scanned it.
Gorebyss, the South Sea Pokémon
An evolved form of Clamperl
Type: Water
Although Gorebyss is the very picture of elegance and beauty while swimming, it is also cruel. When it spots prey, this Pokémon inserts its thin mouth into the prey's body and drains the prey of its body fluids.
Sora puts his Pokédex away when a few more Luvdisc approach him. Sora coulld only smile as several more Luvdisc approaches the other couples. Horatio was happy to witness the sight since he knew Luvdisc were symbols of an ever-lasting love. Many of them swam by Milotic as she swam along with Sharpedo and Marshtomp. Spheal wanted to play with them, but Marshtomp, pulled the clap Pokémon, telling him not to wonder off. A Seel and Dewgong swam by the Water Type Pokémon, grabbing Marshtomp and Spheal. Dewgong held onto the water fish Pokémon as Spheal was clapping to the enjoyment of being held by Seel.
Kairi, Kari, Sara, Mimi, and Tolei were captivated by how cute the Luvdisc are. Their boyfriends could only smile as they joined them. Sora felt blessed by the Luvdisc. He knew that his Pikachu and Kirlia felt the same way since having their significant others. The Luvdisc suddenly started to swim away all but the firt one they saw. In a matter of speaking, several of the other sea Pokémon started to swim off as well. Horatio and the other divers wondered what couold have scared them off, but they got their answer when a rogue Gyarados announced its presence with a roar.
Horatio and some of the divers started to swim off as Sora, Kairi, Tai, Sara, Matt, Mimi, TK, Kari, Ken, Yolei, and the Pokémon all stayed behind. Sharpedo startes up by coming at the rogue Gyarados with Ice Fang, but the atrocious Pokémon bats the shark-like Pokémon with Aqua Tail. Marshtomp comes at Gyarados with Waterfall as Milotic uses Hydro Pump. Gyrados avoids those attacks and comes at them with a ferice bite onto Milotic and an Aqua Tail onto Marshtomp. Spheal attacks by using Powder Snow and Luvdic attacks using its heart attack, striking the atrocious Pokémon, and bats them both. Pikachu would have used his electric attack to deal with it, but there was a danger of his oxygen tank exploding and killing everyone and everything around him, including Angel. He didn't want to put the Eevee he loves in danger.
Spheal and Luvdisc comes back at Gyarados and launched their attacks, but they got struck by Gyardos's Hydro Pump. Gyarados fires at Marshtomp, Sharpedo, and Milotic as well. Luvdisc uses its heart attack again, but Gyarados, being annoyed, bats at Luvdisc with its tail, hurting the heart-shaped Pokémon. Kairi swam to it and takes the injured Pokémon in her arms. Spheal wasn't giving that easily, so he fired Powder Snow once again, but Gyarados attacks with Aqua Tail again. It struck Spheal and he was even more injured than before, but he wasn't going to gve up. Spheal started to evolve, cacthing all of the couples by surprise. Spheal had evolved into a Sealeo. The evolved Sealeo attacks with Ice Beam and struck Gyarados. It chases after the seal-like Pokémon. Sealeo was much faster thatn Gyarados and easily avoids it. Gyarados was getting dizzy from all the darting around Sealeo was doing. Milotic arrives and uses her Breaking Swipe attack to strike at the Gyarados, forcing it to retreat.
With that done, they all swam back to the boat. The all resurfaced only to see the worried looks of Horatio and the others.
"Thank goodness your'e all okay. When we noticed you weren't with us, we got worried about you. We began to fear the worse. What happened?" Horatio asked.
"After you guys retreated, we stayed behind and battled against that Gyarados. Long story short, my Spheal evolved into a Sealeo and Kairi's Milotic helped send that Gyarados packing," Sora explained. Horatio was relieved and impressed by their resourcefulness.
"Just glad you're okay," Horatio said.
"Now we should head back for the Pokémon Center to get our Pokémon healed up, along with Luvdisc," Ken suggested.
"Good idea," Sora said. He climbed up first as Kairi hands Luvdisc to her boyfriend as she climbed up after him. Tai, Sara, Matt, Mimi, TK, Kari, Ken, Yolei, Pikachu, Angel, and the Kirlia climbed up afterwards. Upon arriving to the Pokémon Center, they were happy to see Joe, Izzy, and Cody, but notice Davis was nowhere to be seen. "Hey guys."
"Sora, Kairi! Good to see you again," Joe said.
"Right back at you," Sora said.
"Where's Davis? I thought he was with you," Tai pointed out.
"Oh, he went on a date with a girl," Cody answered, grinning.
"A girl?" TK asked, not believeing it.
"Yeah. And get this, she told Davis he's vute," Cody said in a teasing tone, before chuckling.
"It's true. Izzy and I saw it for ourselves and you'll have to see for yourselves too," Joe said. He notices the Luvdisc in Kairi's arms. "A Luvdisc! What happened?"
"Sora and Kairi joined up with us for a couples scuba diving when a Gyarados came out from nowhere and attacked us," Kari said.
"Our Pokémon got injured in he battle and we came to have them heaeld up," Sora said.
"Good thing you came here," Joe said. They went up to the counter to have Nurse Joy heal the injured Pokémon with Joe assisting her. As they waited Davis and Amy arrived back to the Pokémon Center and a lot of dumbfounded looks are engraved on their faces, all except for Izzy, Joe, and Cody since they were right there.
"Hey guys. Hope we didn't keep you waiting for long," Davis said.
"No, not too long," Matt said.
"Amy, these are friends of mine. Meet Tai along with his girlfriend Sara. Tai's sister Kari and her boyfriend TK. TK's brother Matt and his girlfriend Mimi. Izzy, our brainiest friend, along with Cody. Ken and his girlfriend Yolei. Also, Sora and his girlfriend Kairi," Davis introduced. He quickly notice there was someone missing. "Hey, where's Joe?"
"He's assisting Nurse Joy to heal Sora and Kairi's injured Pokémon," Sara said.
"Along with a wild Luvdisc," Tai added.
"All because a Gyarados came along and ruined our outing," Mimi said.
"But at least it won't bother us again," TK said.
"But enough about us, how are things between you two?" Kari asked, wanting to know Amy. She giggled as she took Davis by the arm.
"Davis is just the cutest guy there is. The goggles on his head are just so styling. Not to mention, he's so very funny," Amy said. Davis blushes.
"So, um, Amy, is it? What brings you to these islands?" Sora asked.
"Just doing some island hopping. Checking out some neato Pokémon living around here. You?" Amy asked.
"Pretty much the same thing," Sora said.
"And since we're doing that, we could stick together for a while," Tai suggested.
"Good idea, Tai," Sora said. After waiting a few minutes, Nurse Joy came out with Joe along with a Chansey and a Happiny. Sora and Kairi were deeply concerned. "How are my Marshtomp, Sharpedo, and Sealeo?"
"And my Milotic?" Kairi asked with concern.
"Your Pokémon are fighting fit" Nurse Joy said, handing the couple their Pokéballs.
"That's good to know," Sora said.
"What about Luvdisc?" Kairi asked.
"Luvdisc is just fine. It just needs to rest in our aquarium for the night," Nurse Joy assured her. With that said, Chansey gently placed Luvdisc in the aquarium just so it could rest. Luvdisc looks right at Kairi as she looks at at it.
"Glad you're doing okay, Luvdisc," Kairi said. She places her hand on the tank. "Just don't overdo it." Sora comes up to his girlfriend and places his hands on her shoulders.
"Luvdisc will be okay, Kairi," Sora told her.
"I know she will," Kairi said. She turned to face him. "Luvdisc did help us out against that Gyarados." The couple rejoined their friends as Izzy has something he wanted to share with them once everyone was present. Amy even joined in on the action.
"Now that everyone is here. I have something to share with all of you," Izzy said.
"What is it, Izzy?" Tai asked.
"What could be so important?" Matt asked.
"I have made a discovery that I wouldn't believe. There appears to be ancient cities somewhere on the islands," Izzy proclaimed. Sora and Kairi both knew that was a very familiar scene.
"Ancient cities?" Davis asked.
"Izzy filled me and Joe in on it while you were out," Cody said.
"These cities were constructed many centuries ago in honor of Regirock, Registeel, and Regice. There are other Pokémon that fit the bill perfectly, but these three are the only ones that we can look into in the Hoenn region," Izzy said.
"So, which ones are the closest?" Sara asked.
"The city that honors Registeel. And it is located on Ganga Island. To make it there, we're going have to make it through the ABC Islands," Izzy said. Sora got curious about Registeel and looked it up in his Pokédex. Its image shows up.
Registeel, the Iron Pokémon
Type: Steel
Registeel has a body that is harder than any kind of metal. Its body is apparently hollow. No one has any idea what this Pokémon eats.
"Had a feeling there was a pattern since meeting Regirock," Sora said, putting his Pokédex away. Tai, Kari, and their friends all looked at him.
"What do you mean, Ketchum?" Tai asked.
"Are you saying you experienced something like this before?" Izzy asked.
"Yeah. It was Kairi won the Fallarbor Contest and my Gym battle in Lavaridge Town when we bumped into another trainer named May and her little brother Max along with Hayner, the Gym Leader of the Viridian City Gym," Sora said.
"We met a couple of archeologists with some Pokémon neither of us have seen before and we saw Regirock first hand," Kairi said.
"Propokus! So, the legends are true! Regirock along with Registeel and Regice here in Hoenn while their creator, Regigigas in Sinnoh, while the other two Regidraco and Regieleki somewhere in Galar," Izzy proclaimed.
"Just don't make them mad, if you're planning on heading there," Sora said. Izzy looked at him. "Trust me, Izzy. I know."
Izzy had to take his word for it. Sora and Kairi's Kirlia were holding each oother in their arms as Kari had found the sight adorable and romantic.
"That is so sweet," Kari cooed.
"You're not the only one who thinks it," Kairi said. Sora arrived to the scene, holding his Dawn Stone.
"You think our Kirlia are getting close to evolving?" Sora asked. Kairi gave her boyfriend a puzzled look.
"Why?" Kairi asked.
"Just curious," Sora said. He approaches his Kirlia as Kairi did the same for hers. He holds out his Dawn Stone. "You set foe evolving, Kirlia?" The male emotion Pokémon gave a puzzling look. "That's if you want to."
"The same with you. You don't have to evolve if you don't want to, but the choice is yours," Kairi said. Both Kirlia looked at each other and they both nodded. Sora's Kirlia took the Dawn Stone in his hands and gave a kiss to Kairi's Kirlia as both had started to eolve right at the same time. Kairi's Kirlia had evolved into a humanoid sylph-like, Pokémon. It stands just over five feet tall. The classical tutu-type skirt seen with Kirlia is now a long, flowing white gown that completely covers her legs, giving the appearance that it is floating. She now has long, slender, white legs underneath their gown. The inside of her gown is green in color. The red horns that were once on Kirlia and Ralts' head have moved down onto its chest and back. Most of her face is obscured by its green 'hair', with only some white, and its large pink eyes visible. She also has long, slender arms that are green like her hair. Sora's Kirlia had evolved into a Pokémon that resembles Kairi's, but the "skirt" of its pre-evolved form is now gone, revealing its legs, which are now much wider. The red horns that were on its head have moved down to its chest, but are much sharper. He has a large gray-blue horn resembling a gladiator helmet. Another notable feature is the blade-like protrusions from its elbows, which he can use as swords. He seems that the sharp protrusions can be extended and retracted when necessary.They stopped their kissing as they saw each other in their newly evolved forms.
"Wow! Your Kirlia had evolved into a Gardevoir and a Gallade," Kari said, amazed.
"Gallade and Gardevoir, huh?" Sora asked, taking out his Pokédex to scan them.

True to its honorable-warrior image, it uses the blades on its elbows only in defense of something or someone. Sharply attuned to others' wishes for help, this Pokémon seeks out those in need and aids them in battle.
"So Kairi, gets a Gardevoir and I get myself a Gallade. So awesome," Sora said. He looked at his newly evolved Pokémon. "You look pretty awesome, Gallade."
"And you're very pretty, Gardevoir," Kairi said. Both newly evolved Pokémon beamed and they both embraced each other. Luvdisc sensed a strong force of love from the aquarium and smiled.
On the very next morning, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel went to check on the rendezvous Pokémon to see how she's doing.
"Morning, Luvdisc," Sora greeted.
"Sleep well?" Kairi asked.
"Disc," Luvdisc said.
"Glad to hear it," Kairi said, smiling. Sora turned to her and hands her his Pokédex.
"Say Kairi, how about you catch Luvdisc," Sora suggested. She turned to him.
"Are you sure, Sora?" Kairi asked her boyfriend.
"You helped keep her safe when that Gyarados attacked, so you're the obvious choice to be Luvdisc's trainer," Sora said. Pikachu and Angel both nodded in agreement. Kairi took out a Pokéball and held it in her hand.
"How about it, Luvdisc? Wanna join the team?" Kairi asked. Luvdisc beamed as she jumps out of the water. Kairi threw it at her and she flows inside. The Pokéball wobbles around for a moment before stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokédex starts buzzing asking her if she wants to keep Luvdisc with her. She chose to send Luvdisc over to Professor Oak's lab. "Welcome to the team, Luvdisc."
The couple joins up with their friends, getting ready to depart to the ABC Islands. Amy joins in since she wanted to get to know Davis little by little. Once everything was all set, they continue their island exploration.
